Opis:
Purpose: The aim of the study was to analyze and determine the level of satisfaction of individual customers in the field of transport and installation of wooden doors. Design/methodology/approach: The assessment was carried out using the Servqual method within the five dimensions of providing a comprehensive service in terms of materiality, reliability, responsiveness to customer expectations, expertise and empathy. The survey was conducted on the basis of questionnaires, interviews with customers who used the service and observations. Findings: On the basis of the research, it was found that the quality level of provided transport and assembly services is at a good level. In the opinion of customers, the assessment of the quality of services provided was over 4.3. Research limitations/implications: In order to improve and enhance the level of customer satisfaction, remedial actions were proposed - additional training for transport and assembly groups. Practical implications: Future research carried out in the analyzed company will allow to checking the impact of implemented countermeasures on the level of customer satisfaction. The methodology presented should be applied in companies that care about the quality of services offered. The limitations that may occur are related to the possible reluctance of customers to express an opinion on the service provided. Originality/value: The research is a useful study indicating the possibility of implication of the Servqual method in service enterprises wanting to check the level of customer satisfaction.

Among numerous factors which affect a company's success on the market, the customer satisfaction is an important element. This paper presents a proposal for customer satisfaction assessment procedures which takes into account customer segmentation. A survey was carried out among the customers of the Silesian branch of an international logistic operator. As a result, CSI was measured in selected segments, quality maps were prepared and logistic customer service elements requiring improvement were proposed.

Opis:
Purpose: The main aim of the article is identification of passengers' preferences and satisfaction with public transport services as the basis for evaluating the quality of urban public transport services and it’s improvement. Design/methodology/approach: The research included a satisfaction survey of urban passenger transport customers in the city of Żory, where free public transport operates. The literature review provided an opportunity to identify the factors to be assessed in the survey. Findings: The survey has shown that respondents indicate the frequency of buses, punctuality, the technical condition of the means of transport, the number of seats available on the bus during peak hours and the efficiency of air conditioning and heating as the most important improvements in the quality in organization and realization of public passenger transport. These results are the basis for action by the transport provider. Research limitations/implications: The survey concerns only the city of Żory public passengers transport, while the proposed research approach can be used in research for other cities. Practical implications: Adaptation of the transport offer to the passengers requirements in order to encourage them to use public transport more often. This solution will increase the competitiveness of this form of transport in relation to individual transport modes. Social implications: The quality of passenger transport services in the city plays a key role in shaping the quality of inhabitants life. The competitiveness of this form of transport also influences the environmental aspect – among others, the reduction of low emissions. Nevertheless, in order to ensure the use of this form of transport, it is necessary to continuously improve the offer and quality of service provision. Originality/value: The presented research is important in the activities of urban passenger transport operators as it provides information on the importance of factors influencing the growth of interest in this type of services, and therefore is important in building a customer service strategy.

The development and functioning of the global economy market is not possible without a net-work of transport connections - communication infrastructure, as well as a service provider - consumer relationship. Transport is a technological process of the distance of people, objects or energy. Knowledge of the logistics system and its processes is essential for fully functioning and effective logistic activities in the field of goods turnover. The functioning of enterprises operating on modern world markets without effective logistics is almost impossible, hence the constant search for tools to improve its processes, which provide added value for the customer, while maintaining the cost-quality ratio of the services provided. Building an appropriate relationship with the customer, taking care of customer service standards and professional customer service is a long-term and developmental process, which is nothing else than a mutual benefit transaction. Customer satisfaction should be constantly tested in terms of satisfaction and loyalty as well as the perception of the standards introduced and services offered. The customer satisfaction survey is used to illustrate the perception of the conditions that guide the customer. This article describes the methods of measuring customer satisfaction in the point of view quality of transport services.

Aim/purpose – This paper aims at analysing the influence of the quality of services offered by higher learning institutions on student satisfaction. Design methodology/approach – Stratification sampling design was utilised to select a representative sample of 606 students from different schools/faculties of Mzumbe University in Tanzania. Data were collected using the closed questionnaire. The data were then processed and analysed through the prediction of categories of response variables of satisfaction against several explanatory variables using multinomial logistic regression model. Findings – The results indicated that responsiveness, reliability, tangibility, assurance and empathy variables have significant influence on student satisfaction. The study concluded that improving services on these variables is bound to lead to maximisation of satisfaction which would result into increased students’ enrolment. Research implications/limitation – The findings of the investigation reveal further that apart from competence and attitude of lectures, teaching facilities was another important criterion for satisfaction. Originality/value/contribution – Understanding the quality of services offered by higher learning institution is imperative for the development of any institution. This paper serves as a bench mark in evaluating the quality of services as perceived by students.

Opis:
The National Department of Public Works and Infrastructure (NDPWI), an agency for infrastructure development in South Africa, provides accommodation and other infrastructure to various public service departments. Each department communicates its infrastructure requirements with the NDPWI. However, there are usually time lags between project briefing and the actual delivery of the infrastructure. Therefore, this article aims to explore the causes of delays and offer solutions to enhance customer satisfaction. The case study method of qualitative research was adopted. Data were collected from the NDPWI regional offices in Bloemfontein, Cape Town and Kimberley, and the professional service department at the head office in Pretoria, among purposively selected participants not below the deputy director level. The Delphi technique was used as an instrument for data collection and complemented during a focus group session. The findings revealed that the major factors contributing to delays included poor planning by the project execution team (PET), ineffective project monitoring and overcentralisation of the decision-making process. The findings, conclusions and recommendations of this research provide useful information for organisational restructuring, the training and continuous retraining of project personnel, especially the project managers. These steps hold the potential for ameliorating the negative effects of delay in the execution of construction projects by the NDPWI.

This short analysis presents perspective and a holistic method for approaching and measuring customer satisfaction. The Balanced Critical Factor Index (BCFI) method is a measurement tool to indicate which attribute of a business process is critical and which is not, based on the experience and expectations of the company’s employees, customers or business partners. This paper focuses on to detect and define critical business processes and factors, which have influence to effective co-operation and customer satisfaction. The use of a questionnaire is one of the most efficient approaches to gather the required information. Due to the fact that each process has its own attributes and the questionnaires cannot be standardized, but the information from the phase is essential and could be measured. In this study case company’s all gathered information will be analyzed and furthermore the BCFI measurement tools will be applied. The original research has been testified that, with the above-mentioned method (BCFI) customer’s experience of the “gap” between expected and received service can be easily resolved. Using this BCFI method it is also possible to find easier so called “weak” customer satisfaction indicators, which are not directly obvious. Companies have crucial to take the right decisions upon the areas of business interest. To have it done, the company should have able to made decisions with the right amount of customer’s needs. The correct allocation and fast adaption of customer’s needs with the right amount of standards is a key to competitive advantage. This paper shows use of this BCFI method and how it could help companies to define there’s customer’s needs and required development target area more specifically.

Methodology: The study employs SPSS 21 for the analysis of data gathered with a survey questionnaire. The survey involved a sample of 291 employees of Jordanian service firms. Findings: Obtained findings indicate significant direct relationships, with surface acting negatively related to both job satisfaction and customer satisfaction and deep acting positively related to both. The results support the mediating role of job satisfaction on the relationship between surface acting and customer satisfaction, along with deep acting and customer satisfaction. Moreover, the outcome substantiates the moderating role of mentoring on both acting types with job satisfaction. Enterprises which want to ensure a secure and stable market position must constantly look for ways to convince customers (current and potential) that their goods and services are competitive and represent a sufficiently high level of quality, consistent with the their needs. Service enterprises use specific methods and tools to analyze the quality of their services and to be sure that these services are competitive on the market. One of the important elements of such an analysis is the assessment of customer satisfaction. This research should be treated as a key stage in the customer satisfaction management system. Without knowing the customers' expectations, the enterprise is unable to determine what to improve and correct. In this case, the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), which not only indicates what to improve, but also shows the level of customer satisfaction, should be used. The purpose of the paper is to assess customer satisfaction in a service point of a known producer of men's clothes. The CSI index and a specially developed survey were used for the research. The questionnaire was filled in by the customers of the research service point after the service delivery. According to the obtained results, individual determinants should be maintained and monitored by the enterprise. The research also identified areas for improvement, i.e. product quality, design and ways of payment. However, the overall CSI score is good, which means that despite few problems with customers' satisfaction, they are satisfied with the research service point.

Artykuł poświęcony został problematyce wiarygodności badań satysfakcji klientów realizowanych w ramach funkcjonowania systemu zarządzania jakością opartego na normie ISO 9001:2008. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wyników krytycznej analizy praktyk w zakresie badań satysfakcji klientów realizowanych w jednym z przykładowych dużych przedsiębiorstw przemysłowych mającym siedzibę na terytorium Polski i obsługującym rynek europejski. Wybrane przedsiębiorstwo realizuje usługi dla klientów biznesowych. W artykule zawarto wyniki badań obrazujące praktyki i ich wyniki w zakresie badania satysfakcji klientów przez wybrane przedsiębiorstwo w latach 2006-2013. Krytyczna analiza praktyk stosowanych w danym przedsiębiorstwie pozwoliła zidentyfikować uwarunkowania jakości badań satysfakcji klienta.
Article was devoted to issues of credibility customer satisfaction survey. Customer satisfaction survey is one of the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. The purpose of this article is to present the results of a critical analysis of practices in customer satisfaction surveys carried out in one of the examples of large industrial companies established in the territory of the Polish and European market supports. Selected company provides services for business customers. The article contains the results of studies illustrating practices in customer satisfaction survey by the selected company in the years 2006-2013. Critical analysis of practices in the enterprise helped to identify the determinants of the quality of customer satisfaction research.

Purpose: Research institutes in Poland, when focusing on scientific and research activities, do not always find time and are not always keen on preparing and using modern marketing tools. Meanwhile, these tools in the conditions of strong competition could significantly improve their relations with customers and the strength of market influence. Given the above circumstances, the purpose of this article is to present the design, implementation and results of a customer satisfaction survey at one of the Polish research institutes. Design/methodology/approach: As part of the design and implementation of the customer satisfaction survey, the Net Promoter Score method and marketing automation instruments were used to assess the quality of customer relations and the level of customer loyalty to the studied institute (case study). Findings: The surveyed customers were mostly satisfied with the services and relationships with the described research institute. The areas requiring improvement were the pricing policy and the way the offer was presented. Research limitations/implications: Limitations resulting from research are typical for case studies and relate to the inability to generalize the results. Nevertheless, the obtained conclusions may constitute the basis for improving analytical marketing tools in other research units. Originality/value: The cognitive value of the article includes the design and implementation of a customer satisfaction survey at a research institute, and personalized practical conclusions about the level of customer satisfaction and loyalty of the studied institute.

This work aims to present a customer satisfaction model using selected examples from the spa industry. Specifically, it is a presentation of the satisfaction of spa customers and visitors to the Slovak spa of Rajecké Teplice, in comparison with Piešťany and Brusno. Customer satisfaction is a multiple phenomenon which is evaluated mainly by qualitative methods. Our motivation is to draw attention to the difficulty and subjectivity of qualitative research concerning such satisfaction, especially at in-service facilities in selected Slovak spas. Customers ranked them and created a ‘top 12’, according to their importance in the subjective perception of spa environments, services, health services and attractions in terms of satisfaction. In addition, the result is a comparison of the individual satisfaction of spa customers in heterogeneous spa towns. Piešťany is the most important Slovak spa center, Trenčianske Teplice is a medium-sized spa town, and Brusno a small stagnant spa.

Opis:
This research is a case study research related to customer satisfaction, focuses on more effective service improvement and changes in regards with meeting the customer needs. Through empirical approach and related enterprises investigation, based on employees’ perspective and end-user’ perspective, it designs a questionnaire system to collect data. In a case company, totally 31 interviews were made from 18 subsidiaries and 13 from end customers. Finally, we use statistical analysis to analysis the collection data and draw a conclusion. The outcomes of analysis show that communication and effective information flow, as well as effective service processes are the key while technical knowhow is the basic requirements. Throughout the body of the research, we can observe that there are significant differences between the internal and external customers perspective. These differences should be taken into consideration when the service improvement is the main objective. This research helps manufacturing firms to improve their value added services in addition to operating closer to their global customers.

The conclusions indicate trends in macro-environment and the role of relations in developing customer satisfaction.

Research background: The commercial banks are adopting online services for their transactions to stay competitive and fulfill the customers' needs. There is a dire need to satisfy online customers in a competitive environment. Thus, this paper employed the ES-QUAL model and two mediating variables and outlined the recommendations to the management of the online banking industry to develop effective strategies. Purpose of the article: The undertaken research aimed to examine the electronic banking service quality and customer satisfaction. For this purpose, we employed the ES-QUAL model and examined the direct impact of ES-QUAL dimensions and customer's satisfaction. The secondary task of this paper is to investigate the mediation effect of customer's trust and the perceived value in an association between the ES-QUAL model and customer satisfaction. Finally, we examine and check whether customer satisfaction translates into the business performance of commercial banks or not. Methods: To achieve the overall goal of this research, SEM-based multivariate approach has been used, including confirmatory factor analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and multiple approaches (normal theory, and bootstrapping) to examine the moderation between the exogenous and endogenous variables. For the validation of hypotheses and results, a financial analysis has been performed simultaneously with the primary analysis. The research is done for a sample of 910 respondents of the account holders of five top commercial banks of Pakistan. Findings & Value added: The outcomes of the direct investigation revealed an affirmative, and potent impact of ES-QUAL dimensions on customer's satisfaction. The outcomes of the indirect relationship exhibited that the perceived value and trust mediate ES-QUAL dimensions and customer satisfaction. The secondary data of selected five commercial banks and ratios analysis validated the results of the ES-QUAL model, and it is concluded that the results are linear with the outcomes of customers' satisfaction of primary analysis.

Changes in the overall economy in a significant way reflected the industry TSL appropriate behaviour in time of crisis, increace in fuel proces and other factors which may affect at prices of logistics services, should lead to the fact that effects of changes in economy were as little as possible felt by customers. Helpful in this are the tools such as Fleet card, TMS system or transport Exchange. Use them to benefit both businesses and customers.

Although customer satisfaction surveys are widely utilized by transit agencies, there are limited analyses in the literature on the perception of passengers as a result of service improvements. A before-after study can help to evaluate the effect of changes from customer’s points of view and thus guarantee a continuous improvement in the service. In this paper, customer satisfaction was directly observed through a Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS) before and after certain changes. Furthermore, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is utilized to evaluate passenger’s perception of the service attribute importance. Finally, an Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) is adapted to analyze the changes in satisfaction and importance from the passenger’s perspective on each service attribute. In both before and after cases, a consistent SEM structure is used. The follow-up IPA provides transit agencies with priorities to improve service attributes and helps managers to devote their resources to key attributes that matter to the riders. Metro line 3 in Tehran was selected as the case study which is 33.7 km long with 25 stations. Two surveys were performed one before (with the sample size of 300), and one after (with the sample size of 384) a set of changes the most important of which was a headway reduction. The SEM was developed with five latent variables of main service, comfort, information, protection, and physical appearance. This structure was assessed on both the before and after data collections and showed to be valid. Security at the station and security on board were the most important service attributes in both waves according to their factor loadings, while ethics and behavioral messages had the smallest factor loading and the least importance. Comparing the attributes in both surveys suggested that reducing the headway was effective, although it did not seem to be sufficient for enhancing the overall customer satisfaction and improvements need to be continued.

Numerous researchers have centred their attention on Customer Perceived Value towards brands but only a few have focussed on CPV towards convenience stores. The main purpose of the research is to measure the CPV dimensions and identify which dimension infl uences customer satisfaction and as a result leads to customer loyalty and retention for convenience stores in Malaysia. Independent variables such as functional, conditional, social, emotional and economic values were taken into account; the number of 200 customers were sampled, using a blend of explanatory and descriptive research design and a quantitative research method. The reliability was measured ranging from (α =.560-.966) using Cronbach’s alpha. The application of descriptive statistics and correlation analysis was intended to explain the relationship between the independent and dependent variables of the research, whereas the inferential statistics and linear regression were used to test the hypotheses; with a signifi cance level p ≤ 0/05 whereby the fi ndings of the research showed that economic value has a high infl uence on customer satisfaction as well as loyalty and retention. However, based on the fi ndings customers are highly infl uenced by the economic value they get from a convenience store. Among the realistic contributions are positioning value pricing, formulating a strategy that encourages convenience value, connects to customers’ emotions during shopping and also creates a diverse approach that sets a convenience store apart from another. However, there is a need for future studies to extend the model of this research by adding other perceptions such as demographic features of the consumers.

Continuous innovations of smartphone attributes and increasing product usage call for better understanding of the attributes that matter most to customers. This study employs Kano’s model for classifying smartphone attributes into various categories and examines the infl uence of those attributes on the satisfaction of smartphone users. Based on consumer evaluation of the latest and general smartphone attributes, the analysis in this study indicates various levels of satisfaction and dissatisfaction with each attribute. Specifi cally, our fi ndings reveal merely three categories of Kano’s classifi cation, and ‘one-dimensional’ or performance attributes have higher infl uence on customer satisfaction as compared with ‘attractive’ ones. These findings provide implications for further product improvement efforts to consider not only technological capabilities but also to prioritize the attributes that are highly expected by customers. The majority of the respondents in this study include the younger consumer segment and heavy smartphone users, thus limiting generalization of the results to other contexts. Further research should consider respondents across segments and/or in a specific market, and extend the focus beyond product attributes so a to include user experiences and explicit product benefits.

Companies that wish to maintain their position in the market must constantly seek new ways of convincing their customers that the products or services they offer meet the customer’s quality expectations. One of the best ways to guarantee customer satisfaction is to ensure the highest quality of the services and products offered. Customer satisfaction surveys have significant benefits, the first of which is providing information, which allows for improvements to the products manufactured and services provided. Another positive aspect is showing the client their the manufacturer or service provider wants to know their opinion so as to better meet the needs. The article presents a method for conducting a customer satisfaction survey in a selected production company along with its results.

The purpose of the study is to investigate how large firm has developed talent management programs for its human resources development plan and how talent management is beneficial to firms concerning to their contribution on customer satisfaction. The data collection period was during July-August 2018. Total numbers of 272 subjects were randomly selected and the final complete numbers were 176 usable subjects. The framework considers a theoretical rationale for workplace engagement and organizational citizenship behavior serving as mediators. The talent management has been recognized as an organizational key driver for managerial performance. However, many business firms in Thailand may overlook the talent management system to overcome the firms’ capability to generate profit under their limitation. The subjects are employees at PTT Public Company Limited. The Structural Equation Model (SEM) was applied to clarify the multivariate framework. The results indicate that talent management affects both work engagement and organizational citizenship behaviors, which consequently affect customer satisfaction. The results conclude that the company concentrate on talent management will enhance customer satisfaction through work engagement and organizational citizenship behaviors. Future studies should concentrate on smaller firms and how they perform in this context.
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie, w jaki sposób duża firma opracowała programy zarządzania ludźmy uzdolnionymi do swojego planu rozwoju zasobów ludzkich oraz w jaki sposób zarządzanie tymi ludźmi jest korzystne dla firm pod względem ich wkładu w zadowolenie klienta. Okres zbierania danych trwał od lipca do sierpnia 2018 r. Losowo wybrano całkowitą liczbę 272 respondentów, a ostateczne wykorzystano 176 użytecznych ankiet. Ramy te uwzględniają teoretyczne uzasadnienie zaangażowania w miejscu pracy i zachowania obywatelskiego w organizacji jako mediatorów. Zarządzanie zdolnymi ludźmi zostało uznane za kluczowy czynnik organizacyjny w zakresie zarządzania. Jednak wiele firm biznesowych w Tajlandii może przeoczyć ten system zarządzania w celu przezwyciężenia zdolność firmy do generowania zysków. Podmioty są pracownikami PTT Public Company Limited. W celu wyjaśnienia struktury wielowymiarowej zastosowano model równań strukturalnych (SEM). Wyniki wskazują, że zarządzanie ludźmi uzdolnionymi wpływa zarówno na zaangażowanie w pracę, jak i na zachowania obywatelskie w organizacji, co w konsekwencji wpływa na zadowolenie klienta. Wyniki wskazują, że firma skoncentrowana na tym zarządzaniu i zwiększy zadowolenie klientów poprzez zaangażowanie w pracę i zachowania organizacyjne związane z obywatelstwem. Przyszłe badania powinny koncentrować się na mniejszych firmach i ich wynikach w tym kontekście.

Background: Service quality, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty have received a special attention in the recent health sector literature. The aim of this study was to examine the correlation between service quality and customer satisfaction as well as the correlation between service quality and customer loyalty. Methods: The self-report questionnaires gathered from patients at army medical centres in West Malaysia were used for this purpose. Results: The outcomes of SmartPLS path model analysis showed that service quality dimensions, namely tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy were significantly correlated with customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Conclusions: This finding confirms that the capability of service providers to appropriately implement the quality dimensions in providing medical services has enhanced customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in the organizational sample.
Wstęp: Poziom obsługi klienta, zadowolenia klienta jak i lojalność klienta to zagadnienia, którym ostatnio poświęca się sporo uwagi w fachowej literaturze dotyczącej ochrony zdrowia. Celem tej pracy było zbadanie występowania zależności pomiędzy jakością obsługi i zadowoleniem klienta jak również zależnością pomiędzy jakością obsługi i lojalnością klienta. Metody Badania zostały przeprowadzone przy użyciu ankiety wśród pacjentów wojskowych centrów medycznych na terenie Zachodniej Malezji. Wyniki: Wyniki uzyskane przy zastosowaniu analizy SmartPLS wskazują, że takie składowe jakości obsługi jak: konkretność, niezawodność, odpowiedzialność, bezpieczeństwa i empatia są istotnie skorelowane z zadowoleniem klienta oraz lojalnością klienta. Wnioski: Otrzymane wyniki potwierdzają możliwość dostawcy usług na takie kształtowanie oferowanych usług medycznych, aby zwiększyć poziom zadowolenia klienta oraz jego lojalności.

The purpose of this study is to identify the social, epistemic and conditional values associated with automobiles and to examine their impact on customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. A sample size of 198 respondents was chosen from various locations near Jeddah in Saudi Arabia using convenient sampling techniques. A multi-factor customer perceived value questionnaire with a Likert scale from 1 to 5 was used to collect the data to determine the social, epistemic and conditional perceived values associated with automobiles and their impact on customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. AMOS was used to generate the result and to analyse the collected data. 5 items were reduced from the original construct to meet the standard loading during the confirmatory factor analysis. Then structural modelling was conducted on a full model and satisfaction as a mediator model. The findings were that epistemic value and conditional value have a positive and signifi cant impact on satisfaction. Also epistemic value and satisfaction have a positive and signifi cant impact on loyalty. However, social value has a negative impact on satisfaction and loyalty in the full model and the mediator model as well. Therefore, epistemic value and conditional value are important dimensions or values associated with automobile brands in Saudi Arabia and they affect customer satisfactions and loyalty.

Opis:
Organizations employ process standardization to reduce process variability and to ensure customer satisfaction. However, excessive standardization may hinder company competitiveness due to the lack of an ability to meet varying customer needs. There is a dearth of research regarding the impact of standardization on customer satisfaction as well as the organizational practices that can potentially foster this relationship. The present research proposes an alternative approach to understanding the practices that foster standardization in organizations: the research builds upon the notion of the closeness of process standardization and continuous improvement, and further proposes the framework of the standardization - customer satisfaction relationship within the wider network of organizational practices. The present study is one of the few attempts in the current literature to frame process standardization within the wider context of the continuous improvement process in the organization and thus makes a theoretical contribution to the advancement of the scant field of knowledge on process standardization in the areas of quality engineering and production systems management.
Organizacje stosują standaryzację procesów, aby zmniejszyć zmienność procesów i zapewnić zadowolenie klientów. Jednak nadmierna standaryzacja może utrudnić konkurencyjność firmy ze względu na brak możliwości zaspokojenia zróżnicowanych potrzeb klientów. Brak jest badań dotyczących wpływu standaryzacji na zadowolenie klienta, a także praktyk organizacyjnych, które mogą potencjalnie wspierać tę relację. Niniejsze badanie proponuje alternatywne podejście do zrozumienia praktyk, które sprzyjają standaryzacji w organizacjach: badanie opiera się na pojęciu bliskości normalizacji procesu i ciągłego doskonalenia, a ponadto proponuje ramy standaryzacji - relacje satysfakcji klienta w ramach szerszej sieci praktyk organizacyjnych. Niniejsze badanie jest jedną z nielicznych prób w obecnej literaturze, aby ujednolicić proces normalizacji w ramach szerszego procesu ciągłego doskonalenia w organizacji, a zatem stanowi teoretyczny wkład w rozwój niewielkiej dziedziny wiedzy dotyczącej standaryzacji procesu.

Customer loyalty issues that in the service sector, due to its dominant competitive environment has great importance. This study sought to evaluate the effects of variables that "corporate social responsibility", "quality of service" and "customer's identification" on "customer loyalty". The purpose of the present study is based on descriptive research methods. Data were collected in this study was a questionnaire that 390 questionnaires among customers of different branches In Tehran Pasargad Bank in the period January to March 2016 were distributed and 372 valid questionnaires were collected. Data were analyzed using correlation analysis and structural equation modeling was performed with SPSS Amos. This research shows that corporate social responsibility, customer satisfaction, customer identification and customer loyalty organization has a significant impact. Thus, banks paid to the issue of social responsibility and community issues they have committed themselves to respect, in terms of customers, banks with higher perceived service quality and customer satisfaction and loyalty have cause to be.

In a world where every day we produce 2.5 quintillion bytes of data, sentiment analysis has been a key for making sense of that data. However, to process huge text data in real-time requires building a data processing pipeline in order to minimize the latency to process data streams. In this paper, we explain and evaluate our proposed real-time customer’ sentiment analysis pipeline on the Moroccan banking sector through data from the web and social network using open-source big data tools such as data ingestion using Apache Kafka, In-memory data processing using Apache Spark, Apache HBase for storing tweets and the satisfaction indicator, and ElasticSearch and Kibana for visualization then NodeJS for building a web application. The performance evaluation of Naïve Bayesian model show that for French Tweets the accuracy has reached 76.19% while for English Tweets the result was unsatisfactory and the resulting accuracy is 56%. To remedy this problem, we used the Stanford core NLP which, for English Tweets, reaches a precision of 80.7%.

Reduction of inventories and optimum delivery of input goods are important parameters for efficient production processes. Therefore transport processes are a vital part of industrial production, and their features are important determining factors for production planning. Especially in the Baltic Sea region, short sea roro shipping connections are an important part of transport chains but also constitute a bottleneck through their restricted schedules. The attractivity of a short-sea roro shipping connection is determined through several factors. Among these are shipping prices, transport time, frequency but also factors that cannot be influenced by the ships operator, such as obligatory driver breaks for truck drivers, which use the shipping service, the geographical position of ports and the geographical position of logistics hotspots which determine the main-transport flows. A roro shipping service that is part of an optimal connection between two logistics hotspots would have a clear advantage on the market. The paper shall present a model that allows for the analysis of complete intermodal RoRo-shipping chains in regard to their attractivity for their end-customers. The model cumulates different features of a transport chain into one indicator. Thereby allowing the optimization of RoRo shipping connection towards customer needs.

Background: Nowadays LSPs face an increasingly competitive environment in which a strategy to focus on existing customers by satisfying and sustaining them has been proved to be more successful than trying to get the small share of customers that have not yet outsourced any logistics activities. To be able to keep and grow the customers, LSPs have to overcome a number of barriers, align with customers and innovate. However, there is still a lack of understanding when, with what type of customers, and how LSPs can effectively leverage customer integration within Innovation Alignment for successful innovation. The purpose of the paper is to: present the concept of logistics innovation and its role in creating customer satisfaction, point a number of barriers to LSPs' innovativeness, and analyze the role and characteristics of relationship innovation alignment when developing and implementing innovative logistics services. Methods: The research adopts a two-stage effort, with Stage 1 being focus groups with LSPs and their customers, and Stage 2 being a theory-testing survey. Up to now, focus groups, survey development, and survey pre-tests with LSPs senior executives have been completed. Conducting the survey and collecting data is in progress. To illustrate the preliminary findings from the American market, case studies in the European surrounding, describing cooperation between LSPs and their customers on logistics innovations, were prepared. Results: Aligning with a customer when pursuing something new is a crucial success factor in logistics sector, especially when pursuing and developing a radical tailored service innovation. The Innovation Alignment should embrace managerial as well as relational mechanisms. Conclusions: LSPs, compared to other industries, are not very innovative. However, logistics managers should try to overcome barriers and proactively develop and implement logistics service innovations. The preliminary results of the research have already shown that integrating customers into the logistics innovation process could increase their satisfaction and enhance the innovation performance of LSP.
Wstęp: Współcześnie operatorzy logistyczni funkcjonują w bardzo konkurencyjnym środowisku, w którym strategia koncentracji na dotychczasowych klientach, zaspokojeniu ich potrzeb i dzięki temu zatrzymaniu ich, okazuje się być bardziej skuteczna niż próba pozyskania nowych zleceniodawców, którzy nigdy wcześniej nie współpracowali z operatorami logistycznymi. Praktyka pokazuje, iż, dążąc do zatrzymania i zwiększania udziału w kieszeni klienta, operatorzy logistyczni muszą pokonać szereg barier, wejść w sojusz z klientami i stać się innowacyjni. Głównym pytaniem badawczym jest kiedy, z jakiego typu klientami i w jaki sposób operatorzy powinni współpracować, aby osiągnąć sukces innowacyjny. Celem artykułu jest: zaprezentowanie koncepcji innowacji logistycznych oraz ich roli w kreowaniu satysfakcji klienta, wskazanie na liczne bariery na drodze do innowacyjności operatorów logistycznych oraz przeanalizowanie roli i elementów składowych relacyjnego sojuszu innowacyjnego, gdy operator rozwija i wdraża innowacyjne usługi logistyczne. Metody: Badanie składa się z dwóch etapów: fazy pierwszej - zogniskowanych wywiadów z operatorami logistycznymi i ich klientami oraz fazy drugiej - kwestionariusza ankietowego, pozwalającego przetestować model współpracy nad innowacją. Do chwili obecnej przeprowadzono zogniskowane wywiady, przygotowano kwestionariusz ankiety oraz pilotaż ankiety wśród naczelnej kadry kierowniczej wybranych operatorów logistycznych. Zbieranie danych jest w trakcie. Celem zilustrowania wstępnych wyników badań prowadzonych na rynku amerykańskim, opracowano europejskie studia przypadków opisujące współpracę operatorów logistycznych z ich klientami nad innowacją. Wyniki: Sojusz z klientem, gdy firma wypracowuje innowacje jest ważnym czynnikiem sukcesu w usługach logistycznych, zwłaszcza w pracy nad radykalną usługą innowacyjną szytą na miarę potrzeb klienta. Sojusz innowacyjny powinien obejmować zarządcze i relacyjne mechanizmy. Wnioski: Operatorzy logistyczni, w porównaniu do innych branż, są raczej mało innowacyjni. Jednakże menedżer logistyczny powinien spróbować pokonać te bariery i proaktywnie opracować i wdrożyć innowacyjne usługi logistyczne. Wstępne wyniki badań pokazały, że włączenie klientów w proces innowacji logistycznej może spowodować wzrost satysfakcji klienta i poprawić wynik innowacyjny operatora logistycznego.

The article aims at presenting the results of the application of multidimensional association rules to explore the potential determinants of satisfaction with services. The bases for the search are the results of a study on the importance of social engagement and attachment to the place of residence to the satisfaction of the services provided by LGUs. The article has a research nature and has been prepared on the basis of the results of the survey. The research procedure also benefited from the literature in sociology and data mining available in the form of books and articles. The results of the carried out analysis indicate that between social engagement and satisfaction with services provided by LGUs and attachment to the place of residence and satisfaction with the services there are links and they can be pointed to as determinants of customer satisfaction. One should not assume that the two mentioned relationships relate to the entire studied population, but to the selected groups.

Sustainability and sustainable marketing have obviously become very crucial, and strategies that are in control of the environment can give several businesses a competitive edge. Moreover, as a result of the rapid development and changes in Iran, sustainability is more important than ever, and deep change is needed to bring Persian people and companies into sustainable orientation. The purpose of this article is to study the relationship between customers’ green satisfaction and perceived sustainable marketing policies in Iran. The study is based on the designed questionnaire, which considers different cultural issues. The data analysis has been done based on the Pearson correlation coefficient and linear regression analyses by using SPSS 21. The results show that the correlation between the perceived sustainable marketing policies and green customer satisfaction is greater than 0.6. Moreover, the regression analysis proves that the perceived sustainable marketing policies have a positive impact on green customer satisfaction. Therefore, sustainability is a crucial factor for companies in order to make their customers satisfied and consequently having a competitive advantage comparing their competitors.
Zrównoważony rozwój i zrównoważony marketing stały się bardzo istotne, a strategie ujmujące wymogi środowiskowe mogą zapewnić firmom przewagę konkurencyjną. Ponadto, w wyniku szybkiego rozwoju i zmian w Iranie, zrównoważony rozwój jest ważniejszy niż kiedykolwiek dotąd, a głębokie zmiany są konieczne, aby doprowadzić mieszkańców i firmy do zrównoważonej orientacji. Celem tego artykułu jest zbadanie związku między ekologiczną satysfakcją klientów a postrzeganą polityką zrównoważonego marketingu w Iranie. Badanie opiera się na zaprojektowanym kwestionariuszu, który uwzględnia różne zagadnienia kulturowe. Analiza danych została przeprowadzona na podstawie współczynnika korelacji Pearsona i analizy regresji liniowej przy użyciu SPSS 21. Wyniki pokazują, że korelacja między postrzeganą zrównoważoną polityką marketingową a satysfakcją klientów przyjaznych środowisku jest większa niż 0,6. Co więcej, analiza regresji dowodzi, że postrzegana zrównoważona polityka marketingowa ma pozytywny wpływ na zadowolenie klientów przyjaznych środowisku. Dlatego zrównoważony rozwój jest kluczowym czynnikiem dla firm, aby ich klienci byli zadowoleni, a co za tym idzie, firmy mogły osiągnąć przewagę konkurencyjną w porównaniu z konkurencją.

An important part of customer satisfaction surveys of the acquired service is to identify the key factors affecting its quality. Since customer satisfaction is a complex category thus its measurement and analysis require the use of multivariate statistical methods. One of them is the CART method (Classification and Regression Trees). Its use in the identification of the key determinants of the quality of services may, however, be associated with the emergence of the so-called variable masking problem, that was characterized in the article. Possible ways of solving it were exemplified in the customer satisfaction survey results of one of the Polish Municipal Offices.

Many firms suffer loss from costs of innovation process, piling stocks and innovation failures. Majority of the problems happened due to the slow respond of the firms to adapt to the market or even the changing of the trend before the products hit the market. To overcome these problems, firm are taking advantages from the online world by going online to introduce their products and innovations. Some innovations are even merely designs, and produced based on the customer requests. They trigger the online impulse buying behavior of customers and take advantage of them. This research talks about the impulse buying behavior from the customer satisfaction perspective. Being impulsive has always been considered as an irresponsible behavior, bad performance and spontaneous conduct which will lead to big disappointment. But since the year 2004, research results have shown contradictory results. Impulsive behaviour can also be advantageous for the individual and the company. The risk of losing an opportunity due to lack of necessary quick respond can be diminished. The year 2016 and after, more and more research support both opposite arguments. The researcher addresses this research gap by conducting a quantitative research to 156 respondents to address this issue by testing the relationship between impulse buying and customer satisfaction. The researcher concludes that if customer satisfaction is increased by improving management strategies and product innovations in ensuring the after-buying effects then actually impulse buying does not always give negative effects on customer satisfaction. Hence, when the customer satisfaction increases, the firm performance will increase too.
Wiele firm ponosi straty z powodu kosztów procesu innowacji, gromadzenia zapasów i awarii innowacji. Większość problemów pojawiła się z powodu powolnej reakcji firm na dostosowanie się do rynku lub nawet zmiany trendu, zanim produkty trafiły na rynek. Aby przezwyciężyć te problemy, firma czerpie korzyści ze świata online, przechodząc do sieci w celu wprowadzenia swoich produktów i innowacji. Niektóre innowacje to nawet tylko projekty i produkowane na podstawie życzeń klientów. Wyzwala to impulsowe zachowania klientów w zakresie zakupów online i korzystają z nich. Badanie to mówi o zachowaniach związanych z zakupami impulsowymi z perspektywy zadowolenia klienta. Impulsywność zawsze była uważana za nieodpowiedzialne zachowanie, złe wyniki i spontaniczne zachowanie, które doprowadzi do dużego rozczarowania. Ale od 2004 r. wyniki badań wykazały sprzeczne wyniki. Zachowanie impulsywne może być również korzystne dla jednostki i firmy. Ryzyko utraty szansy z powodu braku niezbędnie szybkiej reakcji można zmniejszyć. W 2016 r. i później coraz więcej badań potwierdza oba te przeciwne argumenty. Autor rozwiązuje tę lukę badawczą, przeprowadzając badanie ilościowe dla 156 respondentów, aby rozwiązać ten problem, testując związek między zakupem impulsowym a satysfakcją klienta. Badacz dochodzi do wniosku, że jeśli satysfakcja klienta zostanie zwiększona poprzez ulepszenie strategii zarządzania i innowacji produktowych w celu zapewnienia efektów po zakupie, to tak naprawdę zakup impulsowy nie zawsze ma negatywny wpływ na zadowolenie klienta. Dlatego, gdy wzrośnie zadowolenie klienta, wzrośnie również wydajność firmy.

The article presents the methodology of constructing the satisfaction-loyalty and expectation-satisfaction matrices and their application in customer satisfaction surveys. It presents the principles of matrix creation, illustrates their use, shows the indicators proposed by the authors, parameterizing the matrix. The paper shows what conclusions can be derived from the matrix analysis and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of using the presented methods.

The paper presents findings of pilot research on the influence of individual product components, which create the atmosphere of the stay in the hotel, on reaching satisfaction from its consumption. The three-factor theory of customer satisfaction was used to define the influence of floral arrangements on the customers perception of overall hotel-product. Findings indicate the positive influence of floral arrangements, which affect the vast majority of hotel guests. Depending on consumer behaviour (mainly connected with purchase decisions) and on the degree of empathy in relation to the nature (mainly perceived importance of the nature in the life style), hotel guests define in a different manner the influence of floral arrangements on the creation of the atmosphere of consumption of overall hotel-product - depending on guest behavior, floral arrangements realise functions of the basic or bivalent or excitement factors. Additionally, findings indicate that the creation of atmosphere of overall product consumption should take place already on the expected level of hotel-product utilization. Presented results do not have a universal value, because of unrepresentative exploratory test. However, the findings can serve the elaboration of further research methodology on the influence of individual components, which create the atmosphere of stay in the hotel, on reaching the satisfaction from the consumption of overall hotel-product, with particular references to tourism market segmentation.

The influence of globalization in telecommunication companies has greatly increased the level of competition in the industry and they are forced to be competitive to survive. Different types of strategies are put in place in order to be profitable and competitive. All these strategies are directed to attract, retain and maintain customers for continuous profitability. However, majority of them hardly measure the impact of their strategic innovation on their customers. The paper seeks to explore the influence of competitive strategies embarked upon by selected telecommunication companies in Nigeria on their performance. The paper also examines how competitive strategies could be implemented for improved customer satisfaction, retention and loyalty. Three null hypotheses were postulated to test the relationship between lower prices and customer satisfaction, uninterrupted trunk services and customer loyalty, and customer complaint handling and retention. Only customers using telephone service were selected as respondents from Lagos State. The state was stratified in to 20 local government council area and questionnaires were distributed to 125 respondents in each of them. The completion rate of the questionnaire in each of them is between 103 and 110. Survey research design was adopted to carry out the study. A structured questionnaire was designed and validated through the construct validity and tested for confirmation using the KMO measure of sampling adequacy. It was also made reliable using Cronbach’s Alpha test. From the study, findings revealed relationship between competitive strategies and customer satisfaction, retention and loyalty. The findings revealed that there is a relationship between competitive strategies, its constituents and performance of telecommunication companies. It is recommended that universal mobile telecommunication services (UMTS) operators should adopt the culture of competitive strategies since it can impact on their performance for achieving competitive advantage.

Background: The inspiration to undertake research in the field of logistics customer service was formed by the strong relationship between service performance and customer satisfaction, observed within a study of the needs of logistics service providers' (LSPs) customers. The paper aims to understand which elements of service performance are important to customers purchasing logistics services in Poland and are worth investing in by LSPs. Methods: The study was conducted among 112 production and trade enterprises - customers of LSPs selected in a targeted manner. A questionnaire method was used. Based on the respondents' answers, a model was built in the form of a classification tree with customer satisfaction as a response variable and features of service performance as predictors. Results: The results show that two main characteristics affect customer satisfaction levels, namely logistics costs and shorter delivery times. According to the respondents, improving the level of customer service and increasing flexibility turned out to be less significant. However, the discriminant analysis has shown that high satisfaction with logistics outsourcing can also be achieved with the assumption of longer delivery. Conclusions: In order to stand out in the logistics services market, LSPs should not only invest in reducing costs and improving service times, but also in factors that will cause above-average customer satisfaction, like improved operational flexibility and service levels, including pro-environmental activities.
Wstęp: Inspiracją do podjęcia badań z zakresu logistycznej obsługi klienta była silna relacja między performance'm obsługi a satysfakcją klienta, którą zaobserwowano w badaniu klientów operatorów logistycznych. Autorzy chcieli bliżej poznać, które elementy performance'u obsługi są istotne dla klientów nabywających usługi logistyczne w Polsce i jak te elementy wpływają na poziom satysfakcji klientów z usług logistycznych. Badanie miało na celu wskazanie operatorom logistycznym, w które elementy performance'u obsługi warto inwestować. Metody: Badanie zostało przeprowadzone wśród 112 przedsiębiorstw produkcyjnych i handlowych - klientów LSPs dobranych w sposób celowy. Wykorzystano metodę kwestionariusza ankietowego. W oparciu o odpowiedzi respondentów zbudowano model w postaci drzewa klasyfikacyjnego z satysfakcją klienta w charakterze zmiennej objaśnianej oraz cechami performance'u obsługi w roli zmiennych objaśniających. Wyniki: Wyniki pokazują, iż o poziomie satysfakcji klienta decydują głównie dwie cechy, tj. niższe koszty logistyczne oraz krótsze czasy dostaw. Mniej istotne, wg respondentów, okazały się poprawa poziomu obsługi klienta oraz wzrost elastyczności. Jednak analiza dyskryminacyjna pozwoliła zauważyć, że wysoką satysfakcję z logistycznej obsługi klienta można również osiągnąć przy założeniu dłuższych czasów dostaw. Wnioski: Chcąc wyróżnić się na rynku usług logistycznych, LSP powinien inwestować nie tylko w obniżkę kosztów i poprawę czasu obsługi, ale również w czynniki, które spowodują ponadprzeciętną satysfakcję klienta, tj. poprawę elastyczności działania i poziomu obsługi, w tym działania proekologiczne.

Research background: In the developed countries, the services sector, which also includes the accommodation services, is a significant source of the gross national product. Tourism can be perceived as an important determinant of countries' economies, so attention paid to the needs of clients is at least necessary and beneficial. Purpose of the article: The aim of the study is to assess the quality of services provided and the perception of the hotel from the point of view of the accommodated clients. This objective was fulfilled by determining the effect of selected indicators of perception of the quality of provided services (location, personnel evaluation, cleanliness, equipment, comfort, price/quality ratio of provided services, free Wi-Fi connection) on the indicator determining the perception of the hotel (polarity of sentiment). Methods: In the analysis of the above, 22,000 text-reviews of 117 five-star hotels of the Visegrad Group countries were evaluated. The hotel reviews were obtained from Tripadvisor.com and indicator rankings from Booking.com. The analysis made use of the regression analysis methods - influence (regulatory models - Ridge, Lasso, Elastic net, and multiple linear regression - OLS). Findings & Value added: It has been found out that hotel equipment and cleanliness have the greatest effect on the polarity of sentiment. As could be expected, the trend has an upward tendency - that is, as quality increases, so does the sentiment polarity - the perception of hotel facilities. Overall, the analysed sentiment variables can be considered positive, as was confirmed by the positive coefficients of the coherence analysis (Spearman-ρ; Pearson-r), as well as the upward trend in the predictions under the regression analysis. Hotels should be strategically customer-oriented and, as the analyses show, pay the greatest attention to equipment and cleanliness. The services of accommodation facilities are dominant in terms of satisfaction with the destination in general, so in the long run, they should be given due attention. These findings are particularly beneficial for hotel services provided in the Visegrad Group countries, as no research studies have yet been carried out on customer evaluation of the quality of accommodation facilities using the presented methods.

Satysfakcja klienta w obecnych realiach rynkowych stała się bardzo skutecznym akceleratorem zmian w organizacji. Niski poziom satysfakcji klienta, często wprost identyfikowany z niską jakością oferty, obniża reputację organizacji. Dzięki zadowoleniu klienta organizacje mogą zwiększyć wartość swojej marki. Celem artykułu jest próba wskazania wpływu satysfakcji klienta na zmianę postrzegania wizerunku i reputacji organizacji. Wykorzystano sondaż diagnostyczny metodą ankiety bezpośredniej. W badaniu wzięło udział 96-ciu respondentów, klientów znanej i popularnej sieci dyskontowej. Badania potwierdziły skuteczność przeprowadzonego rebranding w firmie Jeronimo Martins Polska S.A. Klienci wskazali, między innymi, na wzrost atrakcyjności oferty, wzrost jakości za konkurencyjną cenę.
Nowadays, in market reality, customer satisfaction became such an effective accelerator of changes in organization. Low grade of the customer satisfaction, identified as a low-quality offer, indicates the lower reputation of organization. Through the customer satisfaction, the organizations can increase the value of their brand. Purpose of the article is to indicate the impact of customer satisfaction in change of image and reputation of organization. Article presents the results of direct diagnostic survey. In research participated ninety six respondents – the customers of widely known and popular discount chain. The research confirmed the effectiveness of rebranding at the company Jeronimo Martins in Poland. Customers indicated, among others to increase the attractiveness of the offer, to improve of quality at a competitive price.

Purpose: The main purpose of the work is to present the results of the customer retention level in the automotive sector based on the proposed measurement indicators: “serviced and sold” (SESO) and “sold and serviced” (SOSE). Design/methodology/approach: The study investigates the dealership of passenger cars belonging to one of the European automotive concerns. The following research methods were used in the article: systematic literature review, participant observation, and data mining. Findings: As a result of the implementation of empirical proceedings, we proposed a theoretical model in terms of data flow in sales and aftersales service processes, thus enabling the design of SOSE and SESO retention indicators and their empirical verification in the examined organization. Research limitations/implications: The presented indicators can be widely used in the analysis of retention of aftersales service clients. However, the presented research results cannot be applied to other organizations that provide similar results due to the non-probabilistically selected company. Practical implications: The proposed indicators can be used by other organizations in different industries in assessing the level of retention in manufacturer-user and seller-user relations. Originality/value: The study provides tools that allow for retention analysis from both the customer and product viewpoint. The concept has a universal value for enterprises that conduct sales and aftersales services under one structure.

Znaczenie działań społecznie odpowiedzialnych w turystyce rośnie na przestrzeni lat ze względu na ich wpływ na środowisko naturalne, rozwój społeczności lokalnych oraz wyniki przedsiębiorstw. Ważnym obszarem dociekań naukowych są badania wpływu CSR na zachowania i postawy konsumentów. Tematyka artykułu koncentruje się na zależnościach zachodzących pomiędzy działaniami CSR przedsiębiorstw hotelarskich a postawami konsumentów. Celem opracowania jest przedstawienie wyników badania pilotażowego dotyczącego wymienionych zależności oraz ocena wybranej metodyki badawczej i narzędzia badawczego. Przyjęto założenie, że działania społecznie odpowiedzialne prowadzone przez hotele mają pozytywny wpływ na satysfakcję i lojalność klienta. W pracy przedstawiono tematykę badawczą dotyczącą CSR w branży hotelarskiej oraz zaprezentowano wyniki badania pilotażowego przeprowadzonego na próbie 40 respondentów, którzy spędzili urlop w hotelach prowadzących działania społecznie odpowiedzialne w Polsce w 2023 r. Wstępne wyniki badania pilotażowego wskazują na związki zachodzące pomiędzy CSR, satysfakcją i lojalnością klienta oraz nie wskazują na nieprawidłowości w opracowanej metodyce badawczej i w przygotowanym kwestionariuszu ankiety.
The significance of socially responsible activities in tourism has been growing over the years due to their impact on the natural environment, the development of local communities and the performance of enterprises. Research on the impact of CSR on consumer behavior and attitudes is an important area of scientific inquiry. The subject of the article focuses on the relationships between CSR activities of hotel enterprises and consumer attitudes. The aim of the study is to present the results of a pilot study on the above-mentioned relationships and to evaluate the selected research method and research tool. It was assumed that hotels’ socially responsible activities have a positive impact on customer satisfaction and loyalty. The paper presents research topics related to CSR in the hotel industry and the results of a pilot study conducted on a sample of 40 respondents who spent their holidays in hotels that have implemented socially responsible activities in Poland in 2023. The preliminary results of the pilot study indicate the relationships between CSR and satisfaction and customer loyalty, and they do not indicate any irregularities in the developed research methodology and the prepared survey questionnaire.

The availability of clean water is the responsibility of the local government to the community by one of the regional-owned companies known as the regional drinking water company (Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum – PDAM). The company performance will greatly affect community satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the performance of PDAM Lematang Enim and assess customer satisfaction with them. The data used in this study were collected through laboratory analysis and direct surveys of the community. The data were then analyzed using quantitative statistical methods. Customer satisfaction index (CSI) analysis and quadrant analysis are used to map customer satisfaction with the services provided. The CSI score showed that a value of 66.14 can be grouped in the satisfied category. The level of customer satisfaction with the services provided by PDAM Lematang Enim can be categorized as good. Strategies for increasing customer satisfaction are formulated through strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis. The results of the analysis show that customer satisfaction is included in the satisfied category. Water quality variables include that water does not smell and tastes quite good, but customers still feel that the water they receive has a different color. Strategies that can be implemented to increase customer satisfaction include focusing on increasing the most important variables according to customers, reducing spending on less important variables, and optimizing the use of appropriate technology.

Banks and financial service providers are currently facing numerous challenges due to the ongoing cheap money policy of the European Central Bank, an increasingly regulated market environment and a rapidly progressive digitization. The ongoing decline in interest income and the stagnating of a banks commission income are currently leading to a reduction of a banks total income. In addition, there is digitization that brings numerous new competitors into the market and changes the core business models of banks. As a result, the general conditions in the financial sector change fundamentally and continue to do so in the near future. Moreover, the behaviour and expectations of bank customers have changed in a way that factors such as “convenience”, “flexibility” and “speed” have become increasingly important for them. For this reason, we will start with a theoretical overview of the status quo and the current challenges banks are facing and then present the results of our customer survey to highlight the current expectations of bank customers. Based on this, we formulate recommendations for banks on how to meet their customers’ expectations.

Currently, the market is focused not only on the quality of services, but also on customer comfort, requiring service providers to constantly modernize their methods of operation. Due to the progressing digitization of various areas of business activity, it is necessary to implement current available technological aids in order to maintain competitiveness and build long-term relationships with the client. Delivering products to the point of consumption is a very important element in the supply chain, and transport companies act as both intermediaries and service providers. The article is a proposal of a methodological solution for companies dealing with transport services in the field of building long-term relationships with the client using modern technologies and methodologies. The results show the strategies and systems with which transport companies can strive to build a competitive offer in the supply chain. As a target solution, it was proposed to use solutions such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in the process of developing a methodology for building relationships with customers in the area of transport services. The development and functioning of the global economy market is not possible without a net-work of transport connections-communication infrastructure, as well as a service provider-consumer relationship.
