Opis:

The adoption of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) underlines the status of inclusion as a human right. In this context, inclusion means being involved in society, and people being acknowledged whatever their abilities and needs. The article gives an insight into the international debate on inclusion, and the discussion and state of implementation in Germany. It advocates a relational concept of inclusion making use of an “agency-vulnerability nexus”. Just like the human rights understanding of inclusion, relational theories of agency and vulnerability examine the processes in social environments which enable or hinder agency. They focus on professional practice, the organisational structures of social services, political conditions and social discourse (for example on disability or refugeeism) and how they are relevant to subjective scopes of action. A perspective of this kind has inherent potential with regard to social criticism, and this is indispensable for a debate which understands inclusion as a task to be tackled by society as a whole.

The article presents and analyzes selected basic problems coinciding with the issues of the inclusion and integration of population into the domain of social security, and it answers the research question: what is the proper, complete and exact meaning of the notions of security, social security, and social welfare? Critical semantical analysis of many works and statements, from classical to modern to newest ones, is the principal research method. According to the central conclusion, the most proper definition of social security identifies it with care, protection and control and not mainly with the absence of threats. The author underscores that leading publications identify social security with protecting the existential foundations of human lives and assuring the fulfillment of individual needs (material and spiritual) and aspirations through the creation of conditions facilitating work and education, and through healthcare and pension guarantees. Part One of the article focuses on the etymology of the definition of security, and on the conventional understanding of security. Part Two is devoted to the natural definition of security, especially social security. Part Three provides information on the topic of social security, considered from the angle of protection and control of people’s living standards.

The key question addressed in this article is social inclusion, as an opposite concept of social exclusion. The author provides a historical of social inclusion/exclusion terminology. Further, some of the principles of social inclusion are presented. A brief review of the literature provides key views and theories of social inclusion. In particular, the author brings to attention that the included/excluded dualism apparent in the writings of social inclusion and exclusion cannot be taken at face value. In line with global debate on social inclusion and exclusion, the author brings the way this debate has now pervaded both the official and development policy discourse in Albania.Social inclusion is considered as one of the priorities of the current government, with poverty reduction as its main focus, which will be ensured not only through economic development. In the end, the article focuses on the role of education as a very important and useful tool for ensuring social inclusion.Social inclusion through education, in particular through vocational education, considered by the author as the only way towards sustainable development of Albanian society.

This article will discuss one of the main topics on the educational and social agendas in Israel. Integrating children and adults with special needs into schools and the community is a worldwide issue. Many researchers have tried to find and evaluate the most effective integration methods, to assist people with special needs and enable them high quality of life and equality. In this article, we will look at the process of integrating students with special needs and the transition that took place during the last few decades regarding the idea of “inclusion”, which is now a top priority for the Ministry of Education’s directors. Based on recent studies, we will examine whether school teaching staff and student teachers are ready to implement inclusive programs in schools as required. We will then propose ways to optimize the training of the educational staff, towards the implementation of the inclusive programs.

Opis:

The article is devoted to the study of the mechanisms of intercultural interaction and topological configuration of transition from the home world to the world of another culture. Intercultural communication is regarded as a complex of communicative ties with cultural environment, contextual phenomena that influences the change in the content and boundaries of communicative interaction. It challenges meeting with unfamiliar cultural behaviors, manifestations of the Other. Рurpose. Creation of a topological scheme for the exclusion/inclusion of a migrant-communicant from/to a new cultural environment, based on the experience of internal immigrants in Ukraine. Methods. The main method of obtaining data for an article is the method of collecting and analyzing information from open sources, including reports from all-Ukrainian sociological surveys, materials of research on world migration, intercultural experience. The material has also been collected through the inclusive observations of the author beeing a representative of the internal immigrants social group, a teacher of the university, who was evacuated from the conflict zone, a direct witness of events. Results. It has been established that the traumatism of the socio-cultural transition affects communicant relations with the new environment. The introduction of a communicant to another cultural environment can take place in several topological variants: public inclusion, inclusion in the home world of the diaspora, integration into the host community, differentiated positive or negative inclusion, exclusion from the world of a new culture. Conclusions. The topology of inclusion/exclusion leads to defining and understanding of complex configuration of the intersection and mixing of the variants of the interaction of the migrant with the domestic and new cultures during the period of acculturation. The research has confirmed the hypothesis that the most desirable for the settlers of the Donbas is the integration strategy. For the majority of communicants-settlers a high degree of adaptive inclination is a characteristic, which is explained by the commonality of civic identity with the inhabitants of the regions of arrival, the influence of the value choice on the decision to resettlement, the knowledge of the Ukrainian language, readiness for professional and everyday integration.
Статтю присвячено дослідженню механізмів міжкультурної взаємодії і топологічної конфігурації переходу з простору домашнього світу у світ іншої культури. Міжкультурна комунікація розглядається як комплекс зв’язків комунікантів з культурним оточенням, контекстними феноменами, що впливають на зміну змісту і меж комунікативної взаємодії. Вона проблематизує зустріч з незнайомою культурною поведінкою, проявами Іншого. Мета. Створення топологічної схеми виключення/включення мігранта-комуніканта з/до нового культурного середовища на прикладі досвіду внутрішніх переселенців в Україні. Методи дослідження. Основним методом отримання даних для статті є метод збору і аналізу інформації з відкритих джерел, у тому числі, зі звітів всеукраїнських соціологічних опитувань, матеріалів досліджень світового міграційного міжкультурного досвіду. Матеріал збирався також шляхом включеного спостереження авторки як представника соціальної групи внутрішньо переміщених осіб, викладача вузу, який евакуювався з зони конфлікту, безпосереднього очевидця подій. Результати. Встановлено, що травматизм соціокультурного переходу впливає на стосунки комуніканта з новим оточенням. Входження комуніканта до іншого культурного середовища може відбуватися у декількох топологічних варіантах: публічне включення, включення в домашній світ діаспори, інтеграція до приймаючої громади, диференційоване позитивне або негативне включення, виключення зі світу нової культури. Висновки. Топологія включення/виключення веде до окреслення та розуміння складної конфігурації перетину і перемішування варіантів взаємодії мігранта з домашньою та новою культурами протягом періоду акультурації. Дослідження підтвердило гіпотезу про те, що найбільш бажаною для переселенців Донбасу є стратегія інтеграції. Для більшої частини комунікантів-переселенців характерна висока ступінь адаптивної схильності, що пояснюється спільністю громадянської ідентичності з мешканцями регіонів прибуття, впливом ціннісного вибору на прийняття рішення про переселення, знанням української мови, готовністю до професійної і побутової інтеграції.

A moduli perturbation method is to used to construct the solution for the contact stiffness in the inclusion problem of a composite laminate under a state of torsional deformation. The inclusion is considered to be embedded at the interface of the laminate. The following solutions have been obtained: (i) the exact solution for the inclusion in a medium consisting of two layers and two half- spaces, (ii) a first-order accurate solution for a layered medium consisting of (n+m) constituents, (iii) an approximative solution for a physically inhomogeneous medium as the limiting case of the layered medium.
Zagadnienia miedzypowierzchniowej inkluzji w ośrodkach warstwowych. Za pomocą metody perturbacji modułów znaleziono rozwiązania określające kontaktową sztywność w zagadnieniach inkluzji umieszczonej na powierzchni "sklejenia" warstwowego kompozytu będącego w stanie skrętnej deformacji. Otrzymano następujące rozwiązania: (i) dokładne rozwiązanie dla inkluzji w ośrodku składającym się z dwóch warstw i dwóch półprzestrzeni, (ii) rozwiązanie o dokładności pierwszego rzędu dla ośrodka (n+m)- warstwowego, (iii) przybliżone rozwiązanie dla ośrodka fizycznie niejednorodnego z modułami ścinania zmieniającymi się w sposób ciągły, otrzymane jako przejście graniczne w rozwiązaniu dla ośrodka warstwowego.

This study examines the use of online humour in a subversive local community Facebook group set up in 2017 by disgruntled members banned from a similar group “in opposition to [the original group’s] arbitrarily-applied rules, [its] enforced happiness, and [its] suppression of any post that isn't about giving away lemons or asking to borrow small appliances”. The dissatisfaction with the guidelines and the administration of the original Facebook group provides rich material for humorous posts in the new group, many with varying degrees of aggression directed at the founder and certain members of the “Dark Side”, as the original group is frequently referred to.  This article will demonstrate how the use of humour in this new rival Facebook group is used for the purposes of inclusion and exclusion, and how it contributes to a sense of belonging in this online community of practice (Lave & Wenger 1991) created by a small group of self-declared dissidents. It will be shown how the humour shapes the identity of the group through the members’ shared ideologies and beliefs (Tanskanen 2018), and how the humorous messages intended to denigrate and belittle the “Dark Side” reinforce unity among the group members, since the feeling of superiority over those being ridiculed coexists with a feeling of belonging (Billig 2005). Fifteen single comments or multi-post threads were chosen for analysis. These appeared during the first twenty months of this rival group’s existence, and included primarily affiliative and/or aggressive humour (Meyer 2015) directed at the original group. The analysis was carried out using elements of computer-mediated discourse analysis (Herring 2004), and an insider participant-observer online ethnographic approach. The examples chosen illustrate how the humour is used to unite the members of this subversive group by dividing them from the original one, to create the joking culture (Fine and de Soucey 2005) of the new group, and in so doing, creates and sustains the members’ shared identity as irreverent breakaway troublemakers.

Financial inclusion has been one of the key pillars of Colombia’s development strategy for a number of years. Financial inclusion policies have aimed at channeling microcredit to poor, spreading formal banking system usage, fostering electronic payment acceptance, and making financial services more affordable. Using simulations from a general equilibrium model it is possible to identify the most binding financial sector frictions that preclude financial inclusion of enterprises, and study the effects on growth and inequality of efforts to remove these frictions. The study finds that lowering contraints on collateral promises higher growth while inequality is better tackled through measures that lower the financial participation cost

Increased migration to Poland and at the same time an increase in anti-immigrant attitudes cause that social pedagoguesface a new challenge related to the integration andinclusion of migrants. In the article I focus on a transformation of social pedagogues roles due to the mentioned above social changes and new challenges – the discourse the introduces symbolic violence, learned helplessness and lack of agency of migrants, and the insufficient number of social pedagogues with intercultural and andragogicalcompetence. Z perspektywy współczesnej pedagogiki dowartościowanie każdego człowieka, a w konsekwencji inkluzja z nim, winny stanowić pryncypium nie tyle teorii, ile praktyki kształcenia. Koncepcje zorientowane na podmiot kierują uwagę m.in. na kwestię realizacji idei włączającej edukacji. Teorie inkluzyjnego kształcenia domagają się bowiem odważnej pedagogicznej konkretyzacji. Inkluzja nie jest jedynie hasłową ideą kształcenia, lecz szeregiem działań, począwszy od postaw społecznych wobec osób z niepełnosprawnością, poprzez konstrukcję zindywidualizowanego procesu dydaktycznego do specjalistycznego wsparcia ucznia. Treść artykułu prezentuje idee inkluzji w edukacji, w konfrontacji z rzeczywistością współczesnej szkoły. Celem nadrzędnym stała się popularyzacja wiedzy dotyczącej modelu kształcenia ucznia z niepełnosprawnością w publicznej szkole, z wdrożeniem idei już na etapie planowania, a następnie odpowiedzialnego niesienia pomocy specjalistycznej oraz realizacji zindywidualizowanego procesu nauczania-uczenia się.
From the perspective of modern pedagogy, the appreciation of each person and, consequently, the inclusion with him, should constitute a principality not so much of theory as of teaching practice. Entity-oriented concepts direct attention among others on the issue of implementation of the idea of inclusive education. The theories of inclusive education demand bold pedagogical concretization. Inclusion is not just a slogan idea of education, but a series of activities, ranging from social attitudes towards people with disabilities, through the construction of an individualized teaching process to specialist student support. The article presents the ideas of inclusions in education, in confrontation with the reality of modern school. The overarching goal became to popularize knowledge about the model of education of a student with disabilities in a public school, with the implementation of the idea already at the planning stage, and then responsible specialist assistance and the implementation of an individualized teaching-learning process.

The paper addresses the situation of sign language users (mostly deaf people) in the context of inclusion as a political goal. For several reasons, there is often still some confusion with the terms of deaf and hearing impaired. In order to overcome this confusion, a survey is given over the needs of people who have a sign language as their preferred language as well as the needs of people who decide on preferring spoken language (mostly hard-of-hearing people). One should also doubt that the whole target group of people with disabilities in the hearing area consists of two separate groups only. Starting from the right of self-determination, the better solution seems to be the individual right of a person to choose any offers which are useful for her/him. As for other groups of people with special needs, ICT is seen as a big chance for improving their situation in terms of life and job chances. Several projects and experiences are reported.

Financial inclusion refers to a state in which all working age adults have effective access to credit, savings, payments, and insurance from formal service providers. The aim of this paper is to introduce several indicators that show the level of financial inclusion in Poland. The indicators are calculated on the base of the data collected and compiled by the payment system statistics of the National Bank of Poland. We will also compare the value of the indicators for Poland to those of the other countries in database.
Integracja finansowa to stan, w którym wszyscy dorośli w wieku produkcyjnym mają dostęp do szerokiego zestawu usług sektora finansowego, takich jak: kredyty, oszczędności, opłaty oraz ubezpieczenia za pomocą pośredników świadczących usługi na tym rynku. Artykuł został poświęcony omówieniu dostępnych wskaźników integracji finansowej dla Polski. I to zarówno wskaźników indywidualnych, jak i syntetycznych. Dane do ich wyznaczenia są pobierane z systemów statystycznych banku centralnego; systemu płatniczego oraz bilansu płatniczego. Wartości wskaźnika służą do międzynarodowych porównań Polski pod względem dostępu do infrastruktury finansowej.

Exclusion and inclusion in the culturally, economically, and politically deter- mined educational space are one aspect of social life and its many micro-, meso-, eco-, macro-, and chronosystems. This issue is often addressed from theoretical, cognitive, practical, and research angles, which is reflected in scholarly and popular-science pub- lications as well as literary fiction. It is not bound to any particular time or place and it is relevant at all stages of a person’s life, from conception to death. It can therefore be assumed that, to a greater or lesser extent, it governs the integral, holistic develop- ment of a human being, and, by the same token, the development of civilization. Moreover, one could argue that as the biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual (religious) exclusion of the human being is more and more mitigated by his/ her participation in creating a living environment in the local, regional, national, and international spaces, we can observe an increasingly higher quality of the functioning of education systems. The following paper investigates the values building the axiological paradigm of social inclusion intensification using the legal doctrine. The analysis is set within the Polish legal system,  which is part of the international and EU law established for the maintenance of social cohesion. On the one hand, the Polish solutions not only stem from the European civilization heritage, but also create and reinforce it. The individual sections of the paper provide an analysis of such inclusive values as dignity, freedom, equality, common good and social solidarity which are assumed to be the basis for all inclusive actions performed within civil societies in democratic states based on the rule of law. The analysis also considers a possible hierarchy of those values and how they affect each other. While the inclusive values themselves appear to be universal, their relations and influence on each other (possibly: hierarchy) is strictly dependent on the national legislation. The research has shown the way in which the investigated values/principles coexist. Human dignity has been found to be the fundamental and supreme value of the Polish legal system, while social solidarity supports social cohesion. It is not possible to artificially separate those values – only when they intertwine, complete and enhance each other can the inclusive actions be designed and executed in the most advantageous manner. Therefore, values and rules which bear them form a praxeological system; they must be interpreted only within the context of their coexistence, relations and the influence they have on one another. Each of the discussed values takes part in the establishment of the resources shared by a democratic state and by the internal structures of the civil society existing within this state’s bounds. Only by taking them all into consideration can we provide an adequate and comprehensive understanding of inclusivity and achieve its desired model.

In my article, I will give a short historical overview of inclusion-research. The focus lies on relation between moral and inclusion. I will introduce three branches of inclusion research and deduce my definition of inclusion from it. Inclusion can be understood as a dynamic process of realizing of equal participation on the one hand and of entitlement to diversity on the other hand. That means, inclusion lives from the solution of its immanent conflict- the conflict between equality and diversity. Therefore, I assume that “the ability to solve problems and conflicts on the basis of universal moral principles by means of deliberation and discussion, instead of using violence, deceit and coercion, or more specifically… the ability to judge arguments in regard to their moral quality instead of their opinion-agreement” (Lind 2016) is urgently needed. This ability is an important precondition for realizing inclusion. Following educational theory of morality by Lind and others, it’s not necessary to change the moral attitudes (moral orientation) in persons that are involved in the process of inclusion. It’s more important to improve their inclusive ability and their inclusive behavior. Inclusive behavior means a behavior with which shows recognition of both: of diversity of all as well as of the dignity of each individual. On this theoretical basis, I furthermore want to introduce a little research project carried out by the author in Vocational School Centre. The aim of this project was to improve the inclusive behavior by using the Konstanz Method of Dilemma Discussion®.

In the paper, we consider an equilibrium problem for a 2D elastic body with a thin elastic inclusion crossing an external boundary. The elastic body has a defect which is characterized by a positive damage parameter. The presence of a defect means that the problem is formulated in a non-smooth domain. Non-linear boundary conditions at the defect faces are imposed to prevent the mutual penetration between the faces. Both variational and differential problem formulations are proposed, and existence of solutions is established. We study an asymptotics of solutions with respect to the damage parameter as well as with respect to a rigidity parameter of the inclusion. Identification problems for finding the damage parameter are investigated. To this end, existence of solutions of optimal control problems is proven.

Aim/purpose – Financial inclusion is a catalyst for achieving sustainable development. This study attempts to evaluate impact of financial inclusion on sustainable development. Design/methodology/approach – Both Error Correction Model (ECM) and Fully Modified Ordinary Least Square (FMOLS) were used to ascertain the short-run and long-run relationship respectively among the variables which covers the period from 2001 to 2016, as data for HDI (Human Development Index) were available for Nigeria from 2001 through 2016 only. Findings – The result of the analysis indicated that in the short-run there is short-run causality running from a number of commercial bank branches, demand deposit from the rural areas, loan to rural areas to HDI. The long-run result revealed that the explanatory variables consisting of loan to rural areas, number of commercial bank branches and demand deposit from the rural areas all have positive significant impact on HDI in Nigeria. The overall result revealed that financial inclusion has impact on sustainable development in Nigeria. Research implications/limitations – The study recommends that banks and monetary authorities should develop new product and services that will attract savings from the rural dwellers because of the level of significance of their deposit to the development of the country. All the more so as commercial banks should also ensure that the rural dwellers are provided with more bank branches, most especially, in areas where there are few or no banks. Credit facilities should also be provided to the people at an affordable rate as this will uplift the level of inclusion and reduce the level of exclusion in the country which will improve the sustainable development in the country. Originality/value/contribution – Empirically, the study attempted to investigate the impact of financial inclusion on sustainable development in Nigeria. The results of the study suggest that government should continue its effort in the area of poverty alleviation by embracing financial inclusion via a vis financial institutions introducing new financial product and services at lower cost that will cater for the disadvantaged group in the society.

This paper presents a potential function method for solving threedimensional interface inclusion problem of a two-layered periodic space, treated within the framework of linear elasticity with microlocal parameters. By constructing the appropriate harmonic functions, the resulting boundary-value problems involving a thin rigid interface inclusion are reduced to classical mixed problems of potential theory. Further, an integral equation formulation for an arbitrary shaped inclusion is given to be used in numerical techniques.
W niniejszej pracy przedstawia się metodę potencjałów zastosowaną do rozwiązywania trójwymiarowych zagadnień inkluzji międzywarstwowej w periodycznie dwuwarstwowej przestrzeni, w ramach liniowej teorii sprężystości z parametrami mikrolokalnymi. Dobierając odpowiednie funkcje harmoniczne, zagadnienia brzegowe stawiane dla cienkiej (lamelkowej) inkluzji sprowadzają się do klasycznych mieszanych zagadnień teorii potwncjału. Dla inkluzji o dowolnym kształcie podaje się następnie sformułowanie w postaci równań całkowych, możliwe do wykorzystania w obliczeniach numerycznych.

The article is focused on the civic practices that fall into the category of social art. Applying sociological perspective, in particular closure theory (as introduced by Max Weber, and developed by Frank Parkin), and referring to the modern concept of cultural democracy, the authoress compares three artistic projects: "Universal" (led by Grzegorz Drozd), "Guma" (Paweł Althamer), and "Import/ Export" (Michał Stankiewicz), in order to assess the capability of social art to transform the processes of social closure. The three projects not only differ in terms of artistic means (mural, sculpture, theatre), but also present varied strategies of “usurpation”, that is of affecting the rules of social inclusion (incorporation) and exclusion (marginalisation): from disturbance of the society’s symbolic order, through articulation of local collective identity, to intercultural (and, at the same time, interpersonal) encounter. The cases, which reveal both possibilities, and limits (or traps) of social art, have been selected so as to create points of critical reference for a more reflective and self-conscious social practice. Hence, at the end, the authoress provides a list of practical recommendations to be used by artists, activists and educators who are willing to resort to social art as a means of social inclusion.

The recent flow of immigrants to Italy and France, two countries that are the principal destinations after crossing the Mediterranean Sea, has turned out to be a complex and multidimensional problem to manage. Both France and Italy organised a complex method for welcoming and distributing the migrants around their territory as much as possible, hosting them in structures adapted or created for this purpose.On the Italian side, two main issues might be identified and analysed: on the one hand the humanitarian emergency of the reception of the migrants, on the other hand, the difficult processes of social integration/inclusion which were put in place. On the French side, these issues are linked to the managing of the risk of radicalisation, in a context in which the memory of the recent terrorist attacks remains vivid.In dealing with the management of the process of social integration/inclusion, sport has proven to be an important (although controversial) opportunity for social inclusion of young immigrants. Micro participatory action-research has highlighted the potential given by a shared cultural framework, such as that provided by the practice of sport. On the Italian side, these practices have not yet been institutionalised, while on the French side there is a more organic strategy, based on a longer standing tradition of using sport as a means of social inclusion.Starting from this premise about the situation of the two countries, we will propose a descriptive and theoretical comparison based on some case studies that we consider significant in terms of the French and Italian approach to social inclusion through sports.

Inclusive education is one of the available forms of education for students with disabilities in Poland. Inclusion classrooms have fewer student and an additional teacher assistant. The schools in which this type of education takes place should meet a number of requirements. They start with the infrastructure and available teaching aids, and end with the teacher training and the availability of specialists. However, these are only prerequisites. In addition to them, the attitude of teachers and their training, the atmosphere prevailing in the school and the relations between students are important. All these elements are components on which success depends. The article presents the opinions of parents whose children attend such classes. Their voice is consistent with the results obtained by other researchers and the reports of the Supreme Audit Office (NIK)- there are no teaching aids, it isnot always possible to talk to specialists (staff shortages), the individualization used in working with students is insufficient, and the relations in classes are only seemingly good.

Podkreśla również, że konsekwencje wynikające ze starzenia się społeczeństw należy rozpatrywać w odniesieniu do samych seniorów, ale również w odniesieniu do funkcjonowania społeczeństwa pod względem mentalnym, ekonomicznym, a także polityki społecznej państwa. Zatem namysł nad starością uzasadnia potrzebę ograniczania stereotypów i tworzenia narzędzi oraz klimatu przeciwdziałającemu społecznemu wykluczeniu osób starszych.
The purpose of this paper is to show the problems of old age in some contexts. In this paper there were discussed the terminological, theoretical, demographic and inclusive- exclusive context. The text addresses both the problems of how to interpret the concept of old age and aging, points to differences in the classification of old age and presents a multi aspects theory approaches of aging. It also emphasizes that not only the consequences of an aging population must be considered in relation to the very elderly, but also in relation to the functioning of society in terms of mental, economic, and social policy of the state. Therefore reflection on old age justifies the need of reducing stereotypes and creating special tools to prevent from social exclusion of older people.

Contrary to the huge involvement of various social groups, implementation of numerous aid programmes, social exclusion, discrimination, marginalisation are still present in various social groups all over the world, and various strategies of social inclusion, including administrative and legal tools for its practical implementation, prove to be ineffective. The aim of this article is to indicate mutual dependencies and conditions as well as social contexts determining the illusory nature of inclusion activities undertaken, first of all, in relation to people with disabilities, but also people excluded from reasons other than disability.
Wbrew ogromnemu zaangażowaniu różnych gremiów społecznych, realizowaniu licznych programów pomocowych wykluczenie społeczne, dyskryminacja, marginalizacja wciąż są udziałem różnych grup społecznych na całym świecie, a wykorzystywane, różnorodne strategie inkluzji społecznej, także administracyjnoprawne narzędzia, służące praktycznemu jej wdrażaniu, okazują się mało skuteczne. Celem tego artykułu uczyniono wskazanie wzajemnych zależności i uwarunkowań oraz społecznych kontekstów przesądzających o iluzoryczności podejmowanych działań inkluzyjnych, przede wszystkim w odniesieniu do osób z niepełnosprawnościami, ale także osób wykluczonych z innych niż niepełnosprawność przyczyn.

The purpose of the study is to identify the correlations between the high school students’ readiness for inclusion and their social desirability with respect to such demographic variables as: gender, place of residence and age. The research attempts to answer one major question: Is the students’ readiness for inclusion linked to social desirability? A Polish sample of 200 high school students aged between 16 and 18 (115 females and 85 males) participated in the study. The need for approval was assessed with Social Desirability Questionnaire (KAS) by R.Ł. Drwal and J. Wilczyńska. The readiness for inclusion was measured with Readiness for Inclusion Scale by Z. Kazanowski. The research findings reveal that the students’ social desirability is positively correlated with their readiness for inclusion. The associations of this type have also been found in the groups relevant to the demographic variables. It is evident that particularly age and place of residence may have an effect on the strength of the correlations between social desirability and readiness for inclusion in the sample of youth attending high school.

The authors consider the ways and means of implementing the idea of inclusion in the university educational process. The researchers have included information on the history of inclusion, on various models of inclusive education, and on the specifics of a family with a child with special educational needs in the content of psychological and pedagogical disciplines, as well as elective courses. The authors have introduced new tasks of teaching practice, with students describing conflicts, bullying, mobbing, and school violence in traditional and inclusive classrooms. Stu-dents have been asked to justify their intended actions, which could prevent potential risks and find a competent way out of a difficult situation. Plot-role-playing games and group discussions held in student groups on the problems of "special" children and migrant schoolchildren have also facilitated implementation of the idea of inclusion. Discussion teaches future teachers to coordinate positions, values, to make decisions, and helps them see new personal meanings. Students' daily communication at the university with physically or mentally challenged mates with students of different cultures, faiths, and languages has played a significant role in their acceptance of inclusion.

After that, I analyse the Argentine immigration regulations since 1983, the current immigration law and the legal order that emerged from its promulgation, exposing those points devoted to cultural inclusion. At the same time, I examine the reciprocal influence existing between the Argentine migratory order and the agreements reached by supranational organizations. By way of closing, I explain the incipient institutionalization of regional cultural integration initiatives.
Este artículo tiene por objetivo recuperar el debate en torno a la inclusión cultural de los migrantes en el ordenamiento legal argentino (1983–2018), prestando atención a las iniciativas regionales de integración en el contexto sudamericano. Para ello, se realiza un esbozo teórico en torno al concepto de política cultural. Posteriormente, se analizan las normativas migratorias argentinas desde 1983, la ley migratoria vigente y el ordenamiento legal surgido desde su promulgación, exponiendo aquellos puntos consagrados a la inclusión cultural. Paralelamente, se examina la influencia recíproca existente entre el ordenamiento migratorio argentino y los acuerdos alcanzados por organismos supranacionales. A modo de cierre, se expone la incipiente institucionalización de iniciativas de integración cultural regional.

This article examines how the United Kingdom (UK) trade unions organise Polish migrant workers in the aftermath of post EU enlargement migration, and what forms of inclusion strategies they implement. The benefits and limitations of various inclusionary approaches are scrutinised through the analysis of semi-structured interviews conducted with officers of three different large trade unions. These unions have at times, applied similar and at other times very different strategies, which depend on the unions' structures and decision-making. These approaches vary from equal treatment and the 'level playing field' approach to special treatment. While the first combined approach has resulted in some positive experiences in locating and recruiting Polish members, further inclusion through activism, however, calls for a special treatment approach.

Opis:

This paper leverages the IMF’s Financial Access Survey (FAS) database to construct a new composite index of financial inclusion. The topic of financial inclusion has gathered significant attention in recent years. Various initiatives have been undertaken by central banks both in advanced and developing countries to promote financial inclusion. The issue has also attracted increasing interest from the international community with the G-20, IMF, and World Bank Group assuming an active role in developing and collecting financial inclusion data and promoting best practices to improve financial inclusion. There is general recognition among policy makers that financial inclusion plays a significant role in sustaining employment, economic growth, and financial stability. Nonetheless, the issue of its robust measurement is still outstanding. The new composite index uses factor analysis to derive a weighting methodology whose absence has been the most persistent of the criticisms of previous indices. Countries are then ranked based on the new composite index, providing an additional analytical tool which could be used for surveillance and policy purposes on a regular basis.

The paper refers to a small fraction of raw data obtained during 50 interviews carried out in Lisbon and in Warsaw in 2017-2018. Through the preliminary interpretative analysis with the use of MAXQDA 2018, a connection between English language and soft power (Nye 2004) was established. 'Soft power' is a political concept, re-introduced in this paper through the novel interpretation of the research data, whilst looking at the English language from a sociopolitical, critical pedagogy perspective, in order to investigate its implications for social inclusion and exclusion. Moreover, unexpected matrixes of language, gender and power were discovered, embodying Boudon's concept of unintended consequences of social action (1993). The study was conducted with the use of soft system methodology (SSM) and the notion of 'soft' in social sciences was explored. It also introduced SSM to the analysis of social aspects of the English language in public spaces in Poland and Portugal. Moreover, the results of the study confirmed that there is a connection between English language acquisition and the socio-economic positioning of workers in these locations. The study should be treated as singular and with no intention of building a universal theory, but aims to look into language from an original perspective and to share the most interesting quotes from the research participants, to reveal people's own voices and their own words (appropriately coded to maintain anonymity) and to establish direct contact between the interviewees and their audience.

Metody aktywizujące stosowane w pracy nauczyciela bardzo pomagają w inkluzji społecznej dzieci (włączeniu dzieci z niepełnosprawnością do klasy). Na podstawie własnych doświadczeń i badań widać, jak dzieci (mając przystosowane metody) w naturalny sposób integrują się ze sobą. Dlatego tak ważne jest tworzenie klas integracyjnych w szkołach ogólnodostępnych, gdzie dzieci pełnosprawne dostrzegają, że są obok nich rówieśnicy bardziej niż one potrzebujący wsparcia. W ten też sposób dzieci uczą się empatii, zrozumienia. Uczą się tego też dorośli. Z kolei praca nauczyciela jest bardziej efektywna, gdy korzysta z metod twórczego myślenia. Celem niniejszej pracy była próba ustalenia zasadności tworzenia klas integracyjnych w szkołach ogólnodostępnych i pracy metodami aktywizującymi w opinii nauczycieli i rodziców jednej ze szkół w powiecie grodziskim.
Activating methods used in the work of teachers significantly help the social inclusionof children (integration of children with disabilities into a classroom). Teachers’ own experiencesand research show that children (when equipped with adapted methods) naturallyintegrate with one another. This proves why inclusion classes are greatly needed in generaleducation schools, where children without disabilities notice that some peers beside requiremore assistance than they do. In this way, children are taught empathy and understanding.Adults learn that, too. Teachers’ work becomes more effective when they use creative thinkingtechniques. The aim of this paper is to find justification for the formation of inclusionclassrooms in general education schools and the use of activating methods in the opinions ofteachers and parents at one of the schools within Grodzisk Mazowiecki County.

The aim of this paper is to look at determinants of financial inclusion through the lens of comprehension of financial concepts and financial language. Specifically, we are interested in which factors are important should this comprehension be absent. We show that, in the context of finance, communication is an important transmission channel through which individuals are encouraged or discouraged to participate in the financial system. We argue that the unfamiliarity with products and the complexity of language used in the banking sector tend to limit trust granted to financial institutions. We test the hypothesis that linguistic diversity is a strong instrument for the impact of the lack of communication on trust.Applying Ordinary Least Squares and probit regression, quantile regression, and instrumental variables to cross country and individual-level data, we show the importance of individual and cultural characteristics and demonstrate the role of trust and communication for financial inclusion. The outcome is consistent for different model specifications.

Objectives: To analyze the pedagogical competences of Physical Education teachers of Santa Clara (Cuba) for the inclusion of schoolchildren with disabilities.Methods: The sample consisted of 90 Physical Education teachers (53 men and 37 women) from Santa Clara (Cuba). The instrument used was the Self-Efficacy Scale for Physical Education Teacher Education Majors towards Children with Disabilities (SE-PETE-D). An experimental study was developed, comparing the perception of pedagogical competence of the participating teachers, before and after applying a set of training workshops about inclusive Physical Education.Findings: Initially, the Physical Education teachers studied recognized that they were not competent to carry out the process of including schoolchildren with disabilities in Physical Education classes. Those teachers who participated in the training workshops about inclusive Physical Education significantly improved (p<0.05 in all indicators) their pedagogical competence for the inclusion of schoolchildren with disabilities in the class.Conclusions: This study showed a low initial level of pedagogical competence in Physical Education teachers of Santa Clara (Cuba) for the inclusion of schoolchildren with disabilities, but also confirmed the effectiveness of applying training workshops about inclusive Physical Education to improve the pedagogical competence of Physical Education teachers.
Objetivos: Analizar las competencias pedagógicas de profesores de Educación Física de Santa Clara (Cuba) para la inclusión de escolares con discapacidad.Métodos: La muestra estuvo compuesta por 90 profesores de Educación Física (53 hombres y 37 mujeres) del municipio Santa Clara (Cuba). El instrumento utilizado fue la Escala de Autoeficacia en Profesores de Educación Física hacia Alumnos con Discapacidad (EA-PEF-AD). Se desarrolló un estudio experimental, comparando la percepción de competencia pedagógica de los profesores participantes, antes y después de aplicar un conjunto de talleres de formación en Educación Física inclusiva.Resultados: Inicialmente, los profesores de Educación Física estudiados reconocieron no ser competentes para llevar a cabo el proceso de inclusión de escolares con discapacidad en las clases de Educación Física. Aquellos profesores que participaron en los talleres de formación sobre Educación Física inclusiva mejoraron significativamente (p<0,05 en todos los indicadores) su competencia pedagógica para la inclusión de escolares con discapacidad en la clase.Conclusiones: Este estudio mostró un bajo nivel inicial de competencia pedagógica en profesores de Educación Física de Santa Clara (Cuba) para la inclusión de escolares con discapacidad, pero también confirmó la eficacia de aplicar talleres de formación sobre Educación Física inclusiva para mejorar la competencia pedagógica de los profesores de Educación Física.

Opis:

The article presents a semantic analysis of the concept of inclusion, which – treated as the central category for Goal 16 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (United Nations) – requires further definition. Initially, I outline the history and etymology of the word inclusion, provide various contexts of its use in Polish common language and in the academic area, take a closer look at the word family as well as synonyms and antonyms of the term inclusion (especially exclusion). Next, I explore functions of the concept of inclusion (descriptive, explanatory, normative) and problems regarding the concept. The conclusion contains four types of referents of the term inclusion.
Przedmiotem artykułu jest pojęcie inkluzji, centralne dla celu 16 Agendy na Rzecz Zrównoważonego Rozwoju 2030 Organizacji Narodów Zjednoczonych. Termin inkluzja jest jednak wieloznaczny i jego znaczenie wymaga doprecyzowania. Przeprowadzam w tekście analizę semiotyczną tego terminu, poczynając od rysu historyczno-etymologicznego, poprzez sposoby użycia terminu inkluzja w języku polskim i w różnych dziedzinach wiedzy, oraz przyglądam się rodzinie wyrazowej tego terminu, jego synonimom, bliskoznacznikom i antonimom, a wśród tych ostatnich przede wszystkim terminowi ekskluzja. Analizuję następnie funkcje pojęcia inkluzji (opisowo-wyjaśniającą i normatywną) oraz referuję spory wokół pojęcia inkluzji. W części końcowej proponuję typologię desygnatów terminu inkluzja.

The hereditary inclusion body myopathies (hIBM) are discussed: 1) The recessive autosomally transmitted form – hIBM2 with characteristic sparing quadriceps femoris muscle, affecting Persian (Iranien) Jews, some Jewish population in Egypt, Afganistan and Kurdic-Iranian Jews; also relatively frequent in Japan. hIBM2 is caused by mutations in the gene of bifunctional enzyme UDP-N-acetylglucosamine 2-epimerase/N-acetylmannosamine kinase, localized on chromosome 9p12-p11. The onset of the disorder occurs usually between 20th and 35th year of life. Characteristic in histological picture of the muscle are rimmed vacuoles and cytoplasmic inclusions; 2) The autosomal dominant form hIBM3. Characteristic of the disorder are congenital joint contractures, external ophthalmoplegia, proximal muscle weakness and rimmed vacuoles – as in IBM2. A causative mutation was identified in the myosin heavy chain gene MYHC2A localized on chromosome 17p13.1 Some hereditary myopathies occurring in isolated populations in Europe as e.g. Welander distal myopathy or Udd tibial dystrophy are also considered to be variants of hIBM.
Omówione są wrodzone miopatie wtrętowe: 1) Dziedzicząca się recesywnie autosomalnie (hIBM2) z charakterystycznym zaoszczędzeniem m. czworogłowego uda, występująca u Perskich (Irańskich) Żydów, czasem również u Żydów w Egipcie, Afganistanie lub u kurdo-irańskich Żydów; jest także dość częsta w Japonii. Przyczyną hIBM2 są mutacje w genie dwufunkcyjnego enzymu epimerazy UDP-N-acetyloglukozaminy/kinazy N-acetylomannozaminy (GNE), który został zlokalizowany na chromosomie 9p12-p11. Początek choroby przypada zazwyczaj na trzecią lub czwartą dekadę życia. W obrazie histologicznym mięśni bardzo charakterystyczna jest obecność obrzeżonych wakuoli i cytoplasmatycznych wtrętów; 2) Autosomalna dominująca postać (hIBM3) cechująca się wrodzonymi przykurczami w stawach, oftalmoplegią zewnętrzną, osłabieniem mięśni dosiebnych kończyn i obrzeżonymi wakuolami jak w hIBM2. Przyczyną hIBM3 są mutacje w genie ciężkiego łańcucha miozyny IIa (MYHC2A), który został zlokalizowany na chromosomie 17p13. Ponadto pewne miopatie, występujące w Europie w izolowanych, etnicznych grupach są zaliczane do wtrętowych (np. miopatia odsiebna Welander, dystrofia piszczelowa Udda).

Opis:

In this paper, closed form analytical expressions for thermoelastic strain and stress components due to a spherical inclusion in an elastic half-space are obtained. These expressions are derived in the context of steady-state uncoupled thermoelasticity using thermoelastic displacement potential functions. The thermal strain and stress fields are generated due to differences in the coefficients of linear thermal expansion between a subregion and the surrounding material. The strain and stress components for exterior points of the spherical inclusion are same as those of the center of dilatation. Variations of strain and stress components for exterior and interior points of the spherical inclusion are shown graphically.

In this work a selective transport of Co(II) and Li(I) ions from acidic chloride solutions through polymer inclusion membranes (PIMs) with Cyanex 301 has been studied. The effect of composition of the polymer membrane has been investigated. The obtained results show that around 98% of Co(II) was transported from the source phase containing 0.01 M Co(II) and 0.01 M Li(I) at pH 4.0 through PIM after 12 h into 3.0 M HCl. The membrane containing 18 wt.% cellulose triacetate (CTA), 32 wt.% Cyanex 301 and 50 wt.% o-nitrophenyl octyl ether (ONPOE) showed very good stability, suggesting that there is a possibility of application of the membrane for Co(II) recovery from acidic leach liquor solutions of spent lithium ion batteries (LIBs).

Opis:

The selective removal of cobalt(II) from aqueous chloride solutions containing nickel(II) and lithium(I) was studied. The facilitated transport of metal ions through polymer inclusion membranes (PIMs) with trihexyl(tetradecyl)phosphonium thiosalicylate [PR4][TS] under various conditions was analyzed. In order to optimize the separation process, several factors such as the ion carrier concentration in the membrane as well as of the effect of the concentration of the acids in the source/receiving phases were investigated. The results show that PIM containing 25% CTA as the polymer support, 40% NPOE as the plasticizer and 35% [PR4][TS] allow the selective recovery of more than 90% of cobalt(II) from 6 mol/dm3 hydrochloric acid into 0.5 mol/dm3 sulfuric acid.

The selective transport of zinc(II) and cadmium(II) ions from aqueous chloride or sulfate source phase through polymer inclusion membranes (PIM) containing cellulose triacetate (support), o-nitrophenyl pentyl ether (plasticizer) and di(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)dithiophosphinic acid - Cyanex 301 (ion carrier) is shown. Zn(II) and Cd(II) ions can be effectively removed from dilute chloride and sulfate aqueous solutions into 1.0 M HCl or H2SO4 as the receiving phase. The separation coefficients were practically constant for acid concentrations in the receiving phase ranging from 0.01 to 1.0 M Copper(II), zinc(II), cadmium(II), cobalt(II), and nickel(II) ions removal from aqueous chloride solutions in transport through PIMs is also shown. These metal ions can be effectively removed from dilute aqueous chloride solutions in transport through PIMs with di(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)dithiophosphinic acid as the ionic carriers into 1.0 M HCl. The selectivity coefficients of Cu(II) over Zn(II), Cd(II), Co(II) and Ni(II) were low and decreased with an increase in the pH of source aqueous phase.

The main argument of the article is the statement that the barriers of social activity and professional work for people with disabilities pile up when she or he lives in the countryside – in rural areas can be observed the accumulation phenomena impact on social marginalization. This article aims to analyze the socio-economic, communications, institutional, environmental and social obstacles that limit social participation of people with disabilities. Negative and marginalizing characteristics of the rural environment is first and foremost a low economic level, architectural barriers and difficulties in access to educational infrastructure, social and cultural data communications. The effect of this are unrealized rules of normalization of people with disabilities living in a village in areas such as education, work and leisure activities. Disparities between urban and rural areas in this field decides with fewer opportunities of development and social integration of disabled villagers.

Social disadvantage is a construct that captures various dimensions of social position, such as economic status, educational attainment, as well as ethnicity. There is considerable evidence that social disadvantage is associated with emotional and behavioural problems in children (Bergin & Bergin, 2015). Nowadays, the theme of inclusion is accurate hence the issue of social disadvantages is not topic just for the pedagogy and pedagogical workers. At the same level, the authors focus on social disadvantages children in kindergartens. A challenge for intervention includes that social disadvantage is often structural in nature and, as a result, is largely impervious to change. It has been found that much of the association of low family income with adverse child development is indirect, through more proximal processes such as parental mental health and the home environment, rather than direct. Therefore, it is crucial for pedagogical workers such as teacher, teacher assistants etc., to acknowledge the sensitivity of social disadvantages which a family can face to. This chapter aims to highlights the issue of social disadvantages which can occur in kindergarten, with an emphasis on inclusion. By using the case studies the authors have found out how a status of a social disadvantage child influence a child and its family. Also, how this problematic is seen by pedagogical workers in chosen kindergarten.

Let A be a Banach algebra, and let D : A → A be a (possibly unbounded) derivation. We are interested in two problems concerning the range of D: 1. When does D map into the (Jacobson) radical of A? 2. If [a,Da] = 0 for some a ∈ A, is Da necessarily quasinilpotent? We prove that derivations satisfying certain polynomial identities map into the radical. As an application, we show that if [a,[a,[a,Da]]] lies in the prime radical of A for all a ∈ A, then D maps into the radical. This generalizes a result by M. Mathieu and the author which asserts that every centralizing derivation on a Banach algebra maps into the radical. As far as the second question is concerned, we are unable to settle it, but we obtain a reduction of the problem and can prove the quasinilpotency of Da under commutativity assumptions slightly stronger than [a,Da] = 0.

In this study, comparative experiments were conducted on the recovery of quartz using flotation with different fluid inclusion abundances. A large number of fluid inclusions with various sizes have been found in natural quartz. Micrographs, inductively coupled plasma, electron probe microanalysis, homogenization temperature, Raman spectra, zeta potentials, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscope, and energy dispersive spectrometer were used to characterize the fluid inclusions and quartz, as well as the adsorption tests and single mineral flotation experiments to investigate its floatability. The results demonstrated that it was more likely for quartz with higher fluid inclusion abundance to connect with Fe3+ sufficiently to achieve a high level of flotation recovery, due to the powerful collecting ability by sodium dodecyl sulphonate to Fe3+. Furthermore, the mechanism indicated that the adsorption between quartz and Fe3+ was a process of chemisorption.

Opis:

(-)-Menthol has been widely used in clinical medicine, flavor, and fragrance. However, high volatility, short retention time, low solubility in water, and whisker growth of menthol are crucial problems for its application. In this paper, (-)-menthol-β-cyclodextrin inclusion complex was fabricated to solve these problems. The product was characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. The results showed that menthol was successfully encapsulated in the cavity of β-cyclodextrin. Menthol itself vaporized almost completely at around 120oC, while the maximum menthol release rate occurred at 267.5o C after the formation of the inclusion complex. The stability and retention time were improved. The menthol release reaction order, apparent activation energy and the pre-exponential factor were obtained and their values were 0, 142.9 kJ/mol and 1.6 × 1013 respectively. The structure of menthol-β-cyclodextrin inclusion complex was investigated by molecular simulation and the minimum energy, –116.7 kJ/mol, was obtained at –0.8 × 10–10 m.

Each story required a different clue. In the case of each of the three pupils one can find milestones, breakthroughs, successes and difficulties. Each of the children, who all arrived with a similar medical certificate, is very different from the oth-ers. Observing them enables one to assess when they feel safe and comfortable at school, in what conditions they discover opportunity to develop their skills and interests. Those three stories illustrate how to build an open community, a com-munity in which children with Asperger’s can feel comfortable alongside both their exceptionally gifted and completely average peers.
Niniejszy artykuł to trzy studia indywidualnych przypadków, na podstawie których zostały przedstawione, na przestrzeni kilku lat, doświadczenia i obserwacje funkcjonowania uczniów ze zdiagnozowanym zespołem Aspergera, w ogólnodostępnym, niepublicznym gimnazjum w Warszawie. Każda z tych historii jest historią konkretnej osoby, niepowtarzalnej indywidu-alności. Do każdej z nich trzeba było „dopasować nieco inny klucz”. W każ-dej z różnych historii konkretnych uczniów można zobaczyć kamienie milowe, punkty przełomowe, sukcesy i trudności. Każde z tych dzieci, które przyszły z orzeczeniami brzmiącymi bardzo podobnie, jest zupełnie inne. Przyglądając się konkretnym osobom, można odpowiedzieć na pytanie, kiedy w ogólnodostępnej szkole uczniowie ci czują się bezpiecznie, odnajdują szansę na rozwój swoich zdolności i zainteresowań. Na podstawie tych trzech historii pokazano, jak można budować otwartą społeczność, w której potrafią się odnaleźć dzieci z zespołem Aspergera obok uczniów wybitnie zdolnych i całkiem przeciętnych.

After all, today it is not just a techniques and methods, it is a process of thinking, a worldview. This is perception, the inclusion in your life of something new, new. Ability to adapt in a changing world. In this article the role of the culture of a modern teacher in the implementation of inclusive education is considered. On the basis of the analysis of literature, the advantages that can be achieved through the development of the informational culture of a modern teacher under the conditions of an inclusive environment are singled out. It is noted that the formation of an information culture offers great opportunities for improving the learning process.

The article asserts the need for organizations to adopt intentional and transformative Global Inclusion, Diversity, Belonging, Equity, and Access (GIDBEA) practices, to ensure their future readiness. The research developed reaffirms the benefits of GIDBEA strategies in identifying gap areas and navigating crises, by providing insights on how to successfully embed a ‘new different’ GIDBEA strategy into organizational frameworks. By drawing trends across the 2020-2021 COVID-19 pandemic and other previous health and economic crises, it is indicated what is described as the “normality of disruption” and the need to move away from the idea of a ‘new normal’ to a new different. The new different acknowledges that the ‘normal’ or the status quo was often challenging for many. The impact and importance of the disruptions that individuals, communities, nations, etc., all have and will face together, is also recognized. The new different emphasizes organizational transformation through co-creation, sustainability, adaptivity, resilience, and design thinking. By implementing a design thinking model, GIDBEA proactively engages mistakes while promoting innovation through dissent and disruption. As a result, disruptions are not considered episodic crises but as recurring, expected, and presenting opportunities. Furthermore, it is argued that GIDBEA expertise is essential for remaining agile, innovative, and providing strategic organizational architecture to prepare and innovate for these disruptions. However, it is necessary to consider that GIDBEA practice can be limited due to the failure of organizations and leaders to frame it as an asset and develop strategic plans to leverage it in the same way they do other critical functional business units. Therefore, unless prioritized and conducted intentionally, GIDBEA work will not achieve its promised bonuses and transformative potential. The article offers readers insights and tools to assess existing GIDBEA within their organization. Using metaphors of “construction” and “architecture,” it illustrates how reimaging organizational architectures and constructing initiatives focused on GIDBEA are fundamental to resiliency, organizational sustainability, and the ability to thrive through shifting landscapes.

Opis:

On a fragment of the rim of a railway wheel removed from service, the volume of the metal with non-metallic inclusions located near the tread surface was investigated. The use of the microhardness measurement technique made it possible to establish the nature of strain hardening of carbon steel near non-metallic inclusions. It showed that with a normal orientation of the plastic flow relative to the inclusion surface, the metal volumes undergo hardening. In proportion to the appearance of a fraction of the tangential component of the deformation near the nonmetallic inclusion, a decrease in the degree of hardening of the metal was observed.

In the field of education we observe many positive changes in equalising educational opportunities for children and young people with disabilities. The most important changes have led to the inclusive paradigm which posits education of disabled children together with children with special educational needs. The article deals with issues related to educational inclusion, variously understood by parents of disabled children. Parents experiencing the disability of their children tend to normalize their lives, including education in a mainstream kindergarten. When talking about their children’s education, they unveiled personal meanings given to this event, showed their individual truths and the reality they experience. The stories they told were given a subjective meaning, which from their perspective is important and shapes their being.

Aim. The aim of the current study is to address a gap in literature as well as explore the factors influencing the perceptions that Kosovar students hold over their research skills. To that end, the study assessed students’ perceptions on their research abilities as well as the variables which influence these perceptions, namely inclusion, exclusion, ethnicity, gender and parental education. Methods. The study employed the quantitative research approach and 303 Kosovar university students participated in the study by answering an instrument composed of three different scales measuring the variables in the study, namely the research skills scale, inclusion scale and exclusion scale. In addition the participants answered ten demographic questions. Participation in the study was on a volunteer basis and the results were analyzed with the SPSS package. Results. Participants in this study reported the highest levels of research skills when they reported being included in academic settings. Ethnicity was a powerful influencing variable. Participants who belonged to minority groups were the ones to report the lowest levels of abilities. Contrary to existing literature, gender did not influence perceptions on abilities. Additionally, unlike in a vast number of research studies, parental education did not influence perceptions that Kosovar students held over their research skills. Conclusions. This study is the first one to research skill acquisition among student populations in Kosovo; a region that is almost absent in international literature. This research presents an overview of variables predicting perceptions held by Kosovar students on their research skills with ethnicity and inclusion being detrimental to perceptions of research skills.

The purpose of the article is to determine the dominant attitude toward inclusive education among primary school teachers in Poland and to explain the predictors of this attitude. Research conducted on a group of 71 teachers using the “Attitudes Toward Inclusive Education” questionnaire showed a moderately positive attitude toward inclusive education among teachers, with statistically significant differences between teachers of grades 1 to 3 and 4 to 8. The much more positive attitude among the teachers of lower grades is supported by their richer experience of working with students with special educational needs and their broader competences and qualifications in inclusive education. These results give an important perspective that should be considered when implementing the idea of inclusion in the Polish education system (mainly when preparing teachers for the profession) so as to ensure continuity in supporting the development of all students at every stage of their education – not only in grades 1 to 3.

The paper discusses how the idea of inclusion may be applied in the domain of social prevention as well as in social rehabilitation and penitentiary activities. The following parts detail theoretical and methodological aspects of the analysis of inclusion and related variables, and the issues of social rehabilitation in the society open to inclusion. Moreover, against the backdrop of the effectiveness of such enforcement policy measures as isolation and probation, the author puts forward the suggestion that social rehabilitation and penitentiary pedagogy should be considered in the light of the inclusive social pedagogy and social policy.

The Albanian challenges have been insistent not just for domestic researchers, academics, or even Albanian citizens; they pique a lot of people in different geographic positions, first of all, the European ones, because by a strong European drive Albanian progresses have been oriented. This brings a great necessity to watch very close those evolutions, processes and the impacts they have in the Albanian social tissue. At the same time, it is very important to understand what streamline has been followed till now by micro and macro processes which have affected the systems affecting thou the relations between pairs, which not necessarily are being expressed in standards. There is no sustainable change or improvement, if it is not built at the cellular level, and when we talk about the state, institutions and citizens, the way they relate, if it is standardized or not by laws or procedures, it becomes the most important reading that we must do to understand the substratum of those changes. Relations, communications and the future of the communicative situations between citizens and public operators including the public administration during the public service proceedings, indicate the quality and sustainability of Albanian evolutions in social view, as well as the forecasting we can do regarding their impact in the future. To increase complexity, we can add another variable to the communication’s analyses in the public service, which represents an important evolution of Albania in this context, the wide introduction of the Technologies of Information and Communication (TIC) in the biggest part of public service provision. This makes us investigate about effects and impacts they have had during the service delivery. We may judge the transparence’s perception related to how much equal citizens consider they are being treated by public operators, what’s the influence it has in the trust climate, notably on the citizens trust towards public administration, whose salaries are being paid by public and who theoretically must carry over public interest. We may, as well, investigate the impact that this variable has had in the new dimension of accountability which en bloc, associated by an accurate lawful and institutional monitoring, has been very sensitive and actually they represents mayor arguments of social and political debate in the country.

Through this contribution we focus on the social inclusion of marginalised Romany communities into the society mainstream. With their lifestyle, Romany population is differentiated, in a way, from the life of the majority society. Mutual social consequences are concluded for both sides from this diversity that has always been and is the target of many policies, though none of them has succeeded in solving the Romany issue. From this viewpoint it is inevitable to gradually find answers to so far unasked questions because the tendency of this diversity is only progressive and tension between the majority and minority societies is growing stronger. The author of this article tries to bring closer policies’ strategic intentions and shows the inevitability to introduce a complex and multi-dimensional approach focused on gradual inclusion of Romany marginalised communities into the majority society, which is a very lengthy and demanding process.

The Education System Act is a pro-inclusive legal act. It assumes joint education of children with and without disabilities. It is intended to forming of a new, humanized normative order. This new order should be based on knowledge, mutual respect, helpfulness and the view of the community as a social home in which there is a place for all people regardless of their level of efficiency, wealth, ethnicity or religion. The reasons for the joint education seem to be permeated by concern for human beings. However the question arises whether inclusive education in the current form really serves this purpose. To address this question I have analyzed formal and legal aspects of education. I have examined the records of the Education System Act and the textbooks. I have found that the Education System Act enables locational inclusion. I have stated that the approved textbooks for widely available middle schools contain incomprehensible content for students. They do not meet most of the required conditions for implementing tasks assigned to them in the educational process of students with mild intellectual disabilities.

All communities of refugee backgrounds should feel supported by the state and the majority, and have the power to strive for a better quality of life, while still being able to proudly proclaim their own culture in for- mal schooling. Culturally inclusive schools appreciate diversity, perceive it as a natural part of a modern society, and encourage all individuals regardless of their cultural background, race, ethnicity, religion, beliefs, gender, or language. This study is a theoretical introduction to the pilot project concerning the expectations and experiences of parents with refugee backgrounds in the context of early learning for their children in Australia. We look at diversity and the successful inclusion of children from refugee backgrounds families into formal schooling by creating culturally inclusive, safe and supportive learning environments.

We study a controllability problem for a system governed by a semilinear functional differential inclusion in a Banach space in the presence of impulse effects and delay. Assuming a regularity of the multivalued non-linearity in terms of the Hausdorff measure of noncompactness we do not require the compactness of the evolution operator generated by the linear part of inclusion. We find existence results for mild solutions of this problem under various growth conditions on the nonlinear part and on the jump functions. As example, we consider the controllability of an impulsive system governed by a wave equation with delayed feedback.

Increased migration to Poland and at the same time an increase in anti-immigrant attitudes cause that social pedagoguesface a new challenge related to the integration andinclusion of migrants. In the article I focus on a transformation of social pedagogues roles due to the mentioned above social changes and new challenges – the discourse the introduces symbolic violence, learned helplessness and lack of agency of migrants, and the insufficient number of social pedagogues with intercultural and andragogicalcompetence. Based on these difficulties faced by social pedagogues I describe what could be their role in the process of integration of migrants and the host society.

Opis:

l-menthol has been widely used in flavour, food and pharmaceuticals. Because of its high volatility and whisker growth, l-menthol-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin inclusion complex was produced to improve shelf-life, provide protection, and enhance the stability of l-menthol. The inclusion complex was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction. The results show that l-menthol was successfully encapsulated in hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin. l-menthol loading capacity is about 8.44%. Geometries and binding energies of l-menthol-hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin inclusion complexes were investigated using molecular mechanics calculations. The shape and orientation of the most stable complex, and the minimum binding energy were determined. L-menthol release from complex was determined by thermogravimetric analysis. Two l-menthol release rate peaks were observed at 69.3 and 279.1°C. The l-menthol release reaction order, release activation energy and the preexponential factor were obtained.

Równość, sprawiedliwość, wolność, demokracja – to wartości żywe i cenne dla współczesnych ludzi, zarówno dla tzw. przeciętnego człowieka, jak i dla teoretyków. W świadomości po-tocznej istnieje poczucie ich wzajemnych związków i pewnego rodzaju ich niepodzielności. Występują, jak się wydaje „chętnie” razem. Teoretycy, którzy również chętnie zajmują się tymi ideami, lub, jak w przypadku równości, ich przeciwieństwem – nierównością, znajdują także dowody na bliskość tych pojęć. Szczególnie, burzliwe dyskusje na temat poważnego społecznego i politycznego problemu, jakim są narastające nierówności pokazują wpływ, jaki na wolność, jakość demokracji i stan społeczeństwa ma brak równości. Aby zademonstrować swą aktywność i zaan-gażowanie w zwalczaniu nierówności, które są dla demokracji niszczące, politycy ogłosili politykę inkluzji. Przedstawiano ją jako sposób wyrównywania rażących nierówności, metodę na włączenie i partycypację, jako na lepszą jakość demokracji. Jednak, zdaniem F. Furediego, stan społeczeństwa: upadek standardów w kulturze, poziomu edukacji, bierność obywateli, a także niekorzystne zmiany w obszarze nauki i niezależności intelektualistów, dowodzą, że to się nie udało. Przyczyną porażki polityki inkluzji jest, jego zdaniem, fakt, że była ona tylko iluzją polityki równości. Rzeczywista walka z nierównością, musi być walką z rzeczywistymi – ekonomicznymi źródłami nierówności, a nie tylko wytwarzaniem w jednostkach przekonania o równości. Polityka inkluzji, zdaniem Furediego, była właśnie tylko zabiegiem psychologicznym, mającym dać złudzenie rów-ności jednostkom, a politykom pomóc odzyskać nadszarpnięte zaufanie obywateli. Włączanie i partycypacja jest dobrą propozycją, ale jako uzupełnienie innych, podstawowych działań w sferze ekonomii i polityki, które oddziaływałyby na ekonomiczne i społeczne źródła nierówności. Polityka inkluzji nie powinna też, jak to się stało, obniżać poziomu edukacji, kultury i jakości demokracji. To jest możliwe i nie należy ulegać przekonaniu, że zwiększenie dostępu do np. edukacji czy kultury, zawsze musi mieć taki skutek. F. Furedi nie tylko wskazuje na nieskuteczność, dla celu, jakim jest polepszenie stanu społeczeństwa i demokracji, metod, jakie proponowała polityka inkluzji, ale obwinia samych polityków o nieszlachetne intencje. Niezależnie od tego czy ma rację, jego stanowisko warte jest przemyślenia i uwzględnienia w dyskusji o nierównościach.
Equality, justice, freedom, democracy – these values are important for contemporary men, for both so called ordinary people and for theoreticians. On the level of everyday social consciousness one can find the sense of their interrelations and their inseparability of a sort. They manifest them-selves together. Theoreticians who investigate them (or, as in the case of equality, its opposition – inequality) prove the affinity of these concepts. In particular, controversial debates on the increas-ing inequalities confirm the influence that lack of influence exerts on freedom and the quality of democracy. Politicians, to demonstrate their activity and commitment to combating inequalities that are corrupting for democracy, declared the politics of inclusion. It has been presented as a means of evening the blatant inequalities, a method of inclusion and participation – a better quality of democracy. However, in the opinion of F. Furedi, the contemporary condition of society (the diminishing standards in culture and education, the passivity of citizens, and the negative changes concerning the domain of science and the independence of intellectuals) demonstrates that this politics has failed. The main cause of this failure is, in Furedi’s view, the fact that this politics has been but illusion of equality policy. The actual combating inequalities has to be a struggle with real (economic) sources of inequalities, and not creating in people the sense of equality. The poli-tics of inclusion should not (as it was the case) lower the level of education and culture, and of the quality of democracy. It is possible and we should not accept the conviction that the increasing access to education and culture has to result in negative effects. Furedi not only points out this politics ineffectiveness in relation to the declared goal of improving condition of society and de-mocracy, but blames them for dishonest intentions – Furedi might be right or wrong; nevertheless his position deserves considerations while debating inequalities.

Legislation plays a special role in social inclusion. The law provisions can validly influence the behaviour of their recipients. For this reason, it is essential that their content arouses the minimum doubt. Properly designed regulations can have a significant impact on improving the situation of people with disabilities so as to help them in everyday functioning in society. The aim of the study is to analyze legal solutions concerning reha-bilitation of relief in income tax for individuals in terms of their correctness and efficiency.

Opis:

The research work meets the need to develop a new definition of the role of banks in the credit society. The rules and regulations of banking do not permit loans on any demand, which causes great conflicts and disputes. Providers of consumer finance under the pressure of competition, want to expand their activities into new market segments, however, they are accused of predatory lending, the sale of expensive services to vulnerable consumers and it drives them into the trap of debt and does not promote social inclusion. On the one hand, the legislator proposes a number of new institutions, which should alleviate this conflict of interest and induce banks to accept best practices, but their assessment is ambivalent (regulations against usury, consumer bankruptcy). On the other hand, there are notable institutions oriented on the needs of poorer circles of society, which are not respected by global banks, aimed rather at the mainstream consumer products. Among these institutions there are cooperative banks, credit unions, alternative (social) banks, and non-bank loan institutions (microlenders). In many countries, and in the EU the raising attention is attached also to the development of a universal financial services (basic bank account) which can help to prevent social exclusion and promote non-cash economy. On this background there is an interesting issue on interdependence of social exclusion, financial exclusion and digital divide, and also on the importance and methodology of consumer financial education (knowledge – skills – confidence).

Opis:

Design‑based estimation of finite population parameters such as totals usually relies on the knowledge of inclusion probabilities characterising the sampling design. They are directly incorporated into sampling weights and estimators. However, for some useful sampling designs, these probabilities may remain unknown. In such a case, they may often be estimated in a simulation experiment which is carried out by repeatedly generating samples using the same sampling scheme and counting occurrences of individual units. By replacing unknown inclusion probabilities with such estimates, design‑based population total estimates may be computed. The calculation of required sample replication numbers remains an important challenge in such an approach. In this paper, a new procedure is proposed that might lead to the reduction in computational complexity of simulations.
Estymacja parametrów populacji skończonych i ustalonych, prowadzona w ramach podejścia randomizacyjnego, zazwyczaj wymaga znajomości prawdopodobieństw inkluzji charakteryzujących schemat losowania próby. Są one bezpośrednio wykorzystywane w celu wyznaczenia wag przypisanych poszczególnym wylosowanym jednostkom i uwzględniane podczas obliczania estymatorów. Jednak dla pewnych użytecznych schematów losowania pozostają nieznane. W takim wypadku możliwe jest ich wyznaczenie na drodze symulacyjnej, poprzez wielokrotne losowanie prób z wykorzystaniem tego samego schematu losowania i zliczanie wystąpień poszczególnych jednostek populacji. Zastępując nieznane prawdopodobieństwa inkluzji oszacowaniami uzyskanymi w wyniku takiego eksperymentu, otrzymuje się oszacowania wartości globalnej badanej cechy populacji. Szczególnym wyzwaniem podczas takiego postępowania jest wyznaczenie liczby replikacji próby, zapewniającej wymaganą precyzję estymacji. W niniejszym artykule proponowana jest nowa procedura, która może przyczynić się do zmniejszenia złożoności obliczeniowej eksperymentu symulacyjnego.

Modern views on education have evolved to regard it to be the right of every human being (regardless of gender, nationality, colour of skin, state of health or individual capabilities) to education. In order to provide the best conditions of education for students with various educational needs it is necessary to create a proper climate for working with them at school and in the family environment. What is needed here, is: a) a coalition of all entities responsible for providing psychological-educational assistance for a child and, b) a high level of education offered, c) development of schools and kindergartens, which will properly satisfy the needs of children with special educational needs. In this process it is necessary to create the legal basis for such actions, a climate of social acceptance, preparation of teachers and other staff working in educational institutions and organizing conditions and situations for direct contacts and interactions of children of diverse needs and development capabilities. Mutual relations can be maintained in a climate of acceptance, understanding, joy and sense of one’s personal development. Inclusive education is our hope for providing able-bodied students and students with special educational needs the sense of belonging to the same community, which is a school/kindergarten as well as to a globally organized human civilization.

Opis:

Research into the influence of ethoxylated alcohols on the citric acid transport through polymer inclusion membranes (PIMs) has been carried out. This process may be used in the future as one of the methods of citric acid isolation. Ethoxylated alcohols, which were GENAPOL® X020, X060 and X150, served as both: plasticizer and carrier. The results showed that the maximum values of citric acid fl ux [mol/(m2.s)] were equal to: 1.02.10-4 (X020), 1.57.10-4 (X060) and 1.77.10-4 (X150). The obtained results allow proceeding further study on using the polymer inclusion membranes, as an alternative to traditional methods of citric acid separation, which are precipitation and extraction.

Opis:

The problem of longitudinal shear of bimaterial with thin nonlinear elastic inclusion at the interface of matrix materials is considered. Solution of the problem is constructed using the boundary value problem of combining analytical functions and jump functions method. The model of the thin inclusion with nonlinear resilient parameters is built. Solution of the problem is reduced to a system of singular integral equations with variable coefficients. The convergent iterative method for solving such a system is offered for various nonlinear strain models, including Ramberg-Osgood law. Numerical calculations are carried out for different values of non-linearity characteristic parameters for the inclusion material. Their parameters are analysed for the tensely-deformed matrix under loading a uniformly distributed shear stresses and for a balanced system of the concentrated forces.

In this paper we introduce and investigate three new subclasses of \(p\)-valent analytic functions by using the linear operator \(D_{\lambda,p}^m(f*g)(z)\). The various results obtained here for each of these function classes include coefficient bounds, distortion inequalities and associated inclusion relations for \((n,\theta)\)-neighborhoods of subclasses of analytic and multivalent functions with negative coefficients, which are defined by means of a non-homogenous differential equation.

Opis:

The project method as a teaching method, which is based on activating teaching strategies, ensures holistic development of a child. It allows to select activities for children at different stages of development, stimulates thinking, teaches to put the newly acquired knowledge into practice and enables to learn through doing, which in particular raises the level of effectiveness of teaching children with mild intellectual disabilities. The joint teamwork of the whole class on the project helped them to enter the social life of the school, becoming a good plane of inclusion. However, according to the studies, the problem is the knowledge and awareness of possibility of applying this method by primary education teachers to support the school functioning of children with special educational needs including those with mild intellectual disabilities.

In this article we claimed that the conception and rhetoric Vygotsky questioned in his works on Defectology still are relevant today in the age of inclusive education. The educational system in several western countries is built upon the strategy of reducing the gap between what the “normal” child can do and the expectations of the disabled child’s competence and skills. The educational system is constructed to handle the “normal” child, and will make adjustments for the disabled child in relations to what the “normal” child is capable of. This is in conflict with the ideology of inclusive education. In our opinion, the educational strategy as a “negative education” is a paradox to the overarching aim of inclusive education. As long as we measure what the child is not able to do, we will not be working towards an inclusive education. In this article we make use of Vygotsky’s perspectives on defectology and “positive differential approach” to discuss these issues.

Opis:

People with disabilities form a group which is threatened by social exclusion. Social sciences are becoming more and more concerned about social capital issues in terms of creating programmes for social inclusion of various marginalised groups. The paper discusses selected concepts of social capital according to James Coleman, Nan Lin, Francis Fukuyama and Robert D. Putnam. The author of the paper has made a comparative analysis of the results of various authors’ research on the social capital of the non-disabled (fully-fit) and the disabled in terms of: (1) social networks, (2) social trust, (3) compliance with social rules, social exchange and cooperation, (4) communication skills and (5) feeling of physical and mental health. The paper presents argumentation on a macrosystem, mesocosm and microsystem level justifying the need to use social capital as a theoretical support for creating social inclusion network in relation to the disabled. The issue is to leave a charity and paternal model applied in the activities for persons with disabilities and to follow the model of inclusion and participation. The discussion is supplemented by a description of challenges that special education is facing in terms of further research work on social capital.

The article discusses issues related to the impact on social inclusion, implemented as part of the activities of the day care center for children and youth. The article is a description of the assumptions of the inclusion process in the light of the theoretical assumptions and those arising from the author’s pedagogical practice. The article contains an outline of the inclusion areas and selected examples of projects incorporated as part of the activities of the day care center for active inclusion.

Opis:

Escherichia coli small heat shock proteins, IbpA/B, function as molecular chaperones and protect misfolded proteins against irreversible aggregation. IbpA/B are induced during overproduction of recombinant proteins and bind to inclusion bodies in E. coli cells. We investigated the effect of ΔibpA/B mutation on formation of inclusion bodies and biological activity of enzymes sequestered in the aggregates in E. coli cells. Using three different recombinant proteins: Cro-β-galactosidase, β-lactamase and rat rHtrA1 we demonstrated that deletion of the ibpA/B operon did not affect the level of produced inclusion bodies. However, in aggregates containing IbpA/B a higher enzymatic activity was detected than in the IbpA/B-deficient inclusion bodies. These results confirm that IbpA/B protect misfolded proteins from inactivation in vivo.

Opis:

In this work the selective transport of cobalt(II) and lithium(I) ions from aqueous chloride solutions through polymer inclusion membranes (PIMs) is presented. Triisooctylamine (TIOA) has been applied as the ion carrier in membrane. The effects of various parameters on the transport of Co(II) and Li(I) were studied. The obtained results show that Co(II) ions were effectively removed from source phase through PIM containing 32 wt.% TIOA, 22 wt.% CTA (cellulose triacetate) and 46 wt.% ONPOE (o-nitrophenyl octyl ether) or ONPPE (o-nitrophenyl pentyl ether) into deionized water as the receiving phase. The results indicate that there is a possibility of polymer inclusion membranes application to recover Co(II) and Li(I) from aqueous chloride solutions.

Opis:

Education of children with disabilities across the globe has been gradually evolving from segregation towards inclusion. The systems in Poland and India have also been following this path, yet due to their own unique historical, cultural, and social contexts, these countries have adopted rather dissimilar approaches to the process of inclusion. What is presented in this report are the results of the study, which aimed to explore both the attitudes of Polish and Indian teachers towards inclusive education of students with special educational needs resulting from mild to moderate disabilities and the significance of selected factors for their differentiation. Polish teachers generally declared more positive attitudes than Indian teachers. Two variables in Indian teachers (the location of the school where the respondents worked and personal contacts with people with disabilities) and one variable in Polish teachers (seniority) turned out to be important in differentiating their attitudes towards inclusion. Implication for practice and further research are discussed.

Opis:

The separation of manganese(II) and nickel(II) from chloride solution with di-(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid (D2EHPA) was studied. The metal ions were separated using solvent extraction and transport through polymer inclusion membranes (PIMs) with D2EHPA as the extractant/ion carrier. The aqueous solutions consisted of 0.010 M manganese(II) and nickel(II) chlorides. The influence of aqueous phase pH on the separation of Mn(II) and Ni(II) has been investigated. Mn(II) can be selectively removed from chloride solution at equilibrium pH equal to 2.90. From the organic phase, Mn(II) was stripped with 0.1-2.0 M aqueous solutions of HCl, H2SO4 and HNO3. The competitive transport of Mn(II) and Ni(II) through PIMs was studied as a function of the ion carrier and plasticizer concentration in the membrane.
