Odkrywanie treści nazw − niejednokrotnie zleksykalizowanych, a więc nieprzejrzystych pod względem słowotwórczym i znaczeniowym − może stać się zadaniem badawczym, którego spełnienie pozwala dopiero w pełni ocenić dany znak nazewniczy, bo nie tylko w asemantycznym ujęciu sunchronicznym, ale i w znaczeniowym aspekcie historycznym. Nazwisko „Sawicki” pod względem słowotwórczym reprezentuje typ nazwiska przymiotnikowego, jeden z najbardziej charakterystycznych modeli nazwisk polskich. Poszukiwaną podstawą nazwiska „Sawicki” mogła być nazwa miejscowa „Sawic(z)e”; toponim spolonizowany, wtórny do ruskiego „Savi(-y)či”. Podstawę badanego toponimu stanowi ruskie imię „Sava”(ze starochrześcijańskiego „Saba”). Nazwisko to mieści się w szerokiej klasie mian kresowych genetycznie niepolskich w rodzaju „Kościuszko”, „Moniuszko”, „Sienkiewicz”, „Piłsudski”, „Iwaszkiewicz”, związanych z postaciami, które bez względu na swój faktyczny etniczny rodowód czuły się związane z językiem polskim, polską kulturą i polską racją stanu.
Discovering the content of names, which are often lexicalised and thus morphologically and semantically opaque, can be a worthwhile research task. On its completion we can fully appreciate the given name, not only in its asemantic synchronic dimension, but also in its meaningful historical dimension. Morphologically, the name Sawicki is an adjectival name, representing one of the most typical Polish family name patterns. It might be derived from the place-name Sawic(z)e, a polonised toponym of Ruthenian origin. The base of the toponym is the Ruthenian name Sava (from early Christian Saba). The name Sawicki belongs together with a host of eastern Polish family names of non-Polish origin, such as Kościuszko, Mickiewicz, Moniuszko, Sienkiewicz, Piłsudski, Iwaszkiewicz, names of people who (irrespective of their actual ethnic descent) identified with the Polish language, Polish culture and Polish raison d'état.

Teolog i filozof – ks. Franciszek Sawicki (1877-1952) – żywo interesował się problematyką z zakresu pedagogiki. Związane to było z jego długoletnia pracą jako wykładowcy w Wyższym Seminarium Duchownym w Pelplinie, ale również z naukowymi zainteresowaniami. Jeden z najważniejszych problemów jego badań naukowych – osobowość człowieka, jej ideał oraz możliwości jej kształtowania i rozwoju prowadzą go do podjęcia refleksji z zakresu teorii wy-chowania. Sawicki formułuje swój własny program – skoncentrowany na realizacji misji wychowywania przez trzy instytucje: rodzinę, szkołę i Kościół. Kształtowanie przez nie osobowości człowieka uważa za najlepszą i najpełniejszą drogę ludzkiego rozwoju, żywo dyskutując z alternatywnymi, sobie współczesnymi propozycjami w tym względzie.
Father Franciszek Sawicki (1877-1952) was a theologian and philosopher and his particular area of interest lay in the field of pedagogy. This was due to his scientific interests and long-time work as a lecturer at the Higher Seminary in Pelplin. One of the most important issues of his research - the personality, its ideal, the possibility of its formation and development- later led him to research on the theory of education. He also formulated its own program focused on the institutions which have an educational mission: family, school and church. The three factors that contribute to personality development considered as the best and most complete way of human development at the same time lively discussing presented more alternative proposals.

Tadeusz Wiesław Sawicki – urodzony w Dolinie (woj. stanisławowskie)podporucznik obserwator lotnictwa Wojska Polskiego poległy na ziemi szadkowskiej w pierwszych dniach września 1939 r. T. Sawicki miał wielostronne zainteresowania. Brał czynny udział w rozgrywkach towarzyskich i zawodach szachowych w lwowskim klubie szachowym „Hełm”. Zbierał i hodował ćmy i motyle. Interesował się sportem. W 1935 r. rozpoczął służbę wojskową. Ukończył Szkołę Podchorążych Lotnictwa w Dęblinie i otrzymał patent oficerski. W pierwszych dniach II wojny światowej dokonuje lotów rozpoznawczych w II plutonie 33 Eskadry Obserwacyjnej w ramach współpracy z 25 Dywizją Piechoty. 5 września 1939 r. nie wraca z lotu rozpoznawczego odbywanego na samolocie RWD–14b „Czapla” z kapralem pilotem Brunonem Ślebiodą. Około godz. 1430 został zestrzelony w okolicy między Szadkiem a Zadzimiem. Lotnicy zginęli rozbijając się w lesie koło wsi Góry Prusinowskie (obecnie miejscowości położonej w gminie Szadek). Spisane wspomnienia o Tadeuszu zostawili Danuta, Leszek i Zbyszek (rodzeństwo).
Tadeusz Wiesław Sawicki – born in Dolno (Stanisławów province), officer of the Polish Air Force, was killed in the area of Szadek in the first days of December 1939. Sawicki was a man of many interests. He participated in chess championships in the chess club “Hełm” in Lviv, and played in many other games and sports. He also collected and raised butterflies and moths. In 1935 Sawicki began military service. He completed the School for Air Force Officer Cadets in Dęblin. During the first days of World War II he did reconnoitring flights in II platoon of the 33 Aerial Squadron. On 5th September,during a flight with pilot Brunon Ślebioda, their plane RWD–14b “Czapla” was shot down and crashed between Szadek and Zadzim, in the forest near the village of Góry Prusinowskie. The recollections about Tadeusz were written by Danuta, Leszek and Zbyszek (sister and brothers).

Racism, especially in Nazi ideology, it is currently the issue that is still painful and causing emotions. That was also in the interwar period, when the world watched in disbelief the actions of totalitarian-racist system in Germany. Many intellectuals strongly opposed to this ideology. Pelplin thinker, Fr. Francis Sawicki, was one of them. Criticism of racism was one of the key themes of his publications in the interwar period.Father Francis Sawicki as a Pomeranian of origin was a citizen of two cultures: German and Polish. He enjoyed a great scientific authority in both areas of language in which he worked. Therefore his attitude to racism was very important. His intran- sigent attitude towards racist ideology has caused numerous harassments against his person, especially the most spectacular example when the Nazis prevented his appointment as bishop of Gdansk.Criticizing Nazi ideology of race Sawicki indicated primarily its contradiction between Christianity, proclaiming the inalienable rights and dignity of every human person. Thus, he pointed to the Nazi hostility toward Christianity. Nazi ideologues sought to create a new, Germanic religion, based on Old Germanic myths, whose “final product” had to be clean racially new German man – Übermensch.He clearly exposes the weakness of the philosophical basis of the Nazism ideo- logy, paying also attention to the fallacy of assumptions. It shows that from the point of view of science does not exist Aryan race, but only the Aryan peoples, who by no means constitute a single race. Therefore, it is not allowed to restrict the way of explaining a man by the culture created by him with the concept of race. Modern science is unable to demonstrate a clear relationship of the manifestation of certain psychological traits with the membership of a particular race.The very notion is unclear and accepted criteria do not allow you to clearly draw the line between certain human types characterized by racial theories. Therefore, race cannot be a factor underpinning any segregation of people. Such ideas are opposed to the Christian doctrine of equivalent and equal rights for all people.Sawicki shows the incompatibility of racism, especially referring to the po- litical ideology of National Socialism and Christianity. The doctrines are both diametrically different at the same ideological bases. Christianity recognizes man universalistically, in the perspective of eschatological fulfillment of its history and the ultimate achievement of life goals in the perspective of eternity. Nazism is a typical messianic ideology, promising the ability to achieve complete happiness by man already here on the earth, which is reserved for the exclusive group of supermen through the extermination of less valuable people because of their race. Racism,especiallyinNaziideology,itiscurrentlytheissuethatisstillpainfulandcausingemotions.Thatwasalsointheinterwarperiod,whentheworldwatchedindisbelieftheactionsoftotalitarian-racistsysteminGermany.Manyintellectualsstronglyopposedtothisideology.Pelplinthinker,Fr.FrancisSawicki,wasoneofthem.Criticismofracismwasoneofthekeythemesofhispublicationsintheinterwar period. Temat rasizmu, zwłaszcza w wydaniu hitlerowskim, jest współcześnie zagad- nieniem wciąż bolesnym i wywołującym emocje. Tak było też w międzywojniu, kiedy świat z niedowierzaniem obserwował poczynania totalitarno-rasistowskiego systemu w Niemczech. Wielu intelektualistów zdecydowanie przeciwstawiło się tej ideologii. należał do nich pelpliński myśliciel – ks. Franciszek Sawicki. Kry- tykę rasizmu uczynił jednym z zasadniczych tematów swych publikacji w okresie międzywojnia.Postawa Sawickiego o tyle była istotną, że – będąc z racji swego pomorskiego pochodzenia obywatelem dwóch kultur: niemieckiej i polskiej – cieszył się wiel- kim naukowym autorytetem w obu obszarach językowych, w których tworzył. Nieprzejednana postawa Sawickiego wobec rasistowskiej ideologii spowodowała liczne szykany wobec jego osoby i szykany ze strony nazistów, czego najbardziej spektakularnym przykładem stało się niepoduszczenie do jego nominacji na bi- skupa gdańskiego.Sawicki, poddając krytyce hitlerowską ideologię rasy, wskazywał przede wszystkim na jej sprzeczność z chrześcijaństwem, głoszącym niezbywalność praw i godność każdej osoby ludzkiej. Tym samym wskazywał na wrogość hitleryzmu wobec chrześcijaństwa. Nazistowscy ideologowie dążyli do stworzenia nowej, ger- mańskiej religii, opartej na starogermańskich mitach, której „produktem finalnym” miał być czysty rasowo nowy, niemiecki człowiek – Übermensch.Sawicki jasno obnaża filozoficzną słabość podstaw ideologii nazizmu, zwracając również uwagę na błędność założeń. Wykazuje, że z punktu widzenia nauki nie istnieje rasa aryjska, lecz tylko ludy aryjskie, które bynajmniej nie tworzą jednej rasy. Nie można zawężać sposobu eksplikowania się człowieka przez tworzoną przez niego kulturę z pojęciem rasy. Współczesna nauka nie jest w stanie wykazać jednoznacznego związku przejawiania określonych cech psychicznych z faktem przynależności od określonej rasy.Samo pojęcie jest niejasne, a przyjmowane kryteria nie pozwalają jednoznacz- nie wykreślić granic między określonymi typami ludzkimi, charakteryzowanymi przez teorie rasowe. Rasa nie może więc być czynnikiem będącym podstawą jakichkolwiek segregacji ludzi. Idee takie sprzeciwiają się chrześcijańskiej nauce o równowartości i równouprawnieniu wszystkich ludzi.Sawicki wykazuje niemożność pogodzenia rasizmu, zwłaszcza odnosząc się do politycznej ideologii narodowego socjalizmu z chrześcijaństwem. U samych swych ideowych podstaw obie doktryny diametralnie się różnią. Chrześcijaństwo ujmuje człowieka uniwersalistycznie, w perspektywie eschatologicznej, wypełnienie się jego historii i ostateczne osiągniecie życiowych celów upatruje w wieczności. Nazizm jest typową ideologią mesjanistyczną, zapowiadający możliwość osiąg- nięcia pełni szczęścia przez człowieka już tu, na ziemi, które jest zarezerwowane dla ekskluzywnej grupy nadludzi poprzez eksterminację mniej wartościowych z racji przynależności rasowej.

This article presents contemporary companies, which function or intend to function in cyberspace. It stressed certain aspects concerning communication between a company and its surroundings as well as tools that should be used to maintain and even increase competitive advantage. What is more, the article shows the aspects of company’s proper functioning within presented area that should be born in mind, as these aspects prevent companies from making mistakes while deciding to operate in the offline and online world. In the research section, there were presented polish companies which are digitalised. The article demonstrated contemporary tools and communication channels with a client, sales channels, places where consumers may gain information. Attention was also focused on monitoring of the information flow that is of increasing importance for enterprises operating in cyberspace.

The paper is the first insight into the problem of form, so essential for Norwid. Its subject is, first of all, the poet’s struggle against form which exerts pressure, deprives things of their meanings and constitutes the source of deviation. There still remains to be written a paper presenting Norwid’s struggle for form which is mature and liberating and which deepens the spiritual freedom of man. We also need a thorough study on the poet’s comprehension of form, made against the background of the contemporary philosophical and aesthetic thought. The paper consists of three parts. The beginning of the first part recalls the article “Żydy” i mechesy (Jews and Converted Jews). Norwid resents in it the acceptance of the semantic deviation of the word “przechrzta” (“converted Jew”) and the strict caste system of the nobility. In both these phenomena the blind tradition prevails over their fundamental meanings, appearance over reality, form over “spirit”. The phenomena also mark the range of the problem: from the meaning of a single word to the attitude of the whole socio-historical group. Norwid’s output is full of “antiformal” indignation. It can be found in different shapes and varies in intensity in the majority of his writings. Norwid is irritated by expressions deprived of their original meanings (“Ruszaj z Bogiem”, “Farewell, God be with you”), surprised by the conventionality of the language which ignores the symbolism of silence. He does not accept the formalized traditional versification and the trite use of metaphors. He is stimulated by certain themes (the theme of ruins) and myths (Wanda, Krakus, Tyrtej) which require a new expression. He sees the necessity to complete the gallery of literary characters (the mute heroine of Assunta). The conventionalized, irresistible genre constraints require intrepid modification: the idea of “white tragedy”, the new lyric poetry of Vade-mecum, the criticism of the contemporary moral novel, the parable variant of the epic poem in Quidam. Norwid protests against the spiritless customs, formal treatment of marriage, schematic evaluation of people and occurrences, stereotype of a Pole-patriot, external manifestation of feelings (Czułość, Tenderness), narrow-minded religious attitudes ([Dewocja krzyczy: “Michelet wychodzi z Kościoła!”...], [Bigotry Shouts: “Michelet is Leaving the Church!”...]), superficial understanding of history overlooking its “other writing”, its real spirit. In the whole of Norwid’s writings we sense the spirit of protest and struggle against mechanical tradition, empty convention, fascination with the external world, resistless submission to the custom, narrow-mindedness of social and national structures. Norwid’s work is a great "non-possumus” against the limitations of the development and the slavery of man. The second part of the paper deals with the reasons for such an attitude of the poet. They can be found, above all, in the rhapsody Niewola (Slavery, 1849) which concerns mainly the problems of the nation but assumes universal dimensions and becomes an attempt at poetic anthropology. Man’s life is seen by Norwid as life “towards death”. Death is the moment of the greatest value in man’s existence, the moment of the fullest spiritual maturity. Man’s life is a gradual process of freeing himself from formal restrictions: society, custom, body - from various kinds of slavery. Life “towards death” is for Norwid, at the same time, life towards transcendency, “towards freedom”, towards God. Every instance of exceeding the limits of degraded, false structures, each attitude morally independent of them is a step towards spiritual freedom, towards the fullest human maturity. The above refers also to a man-artist. His creations must be free from the patterns which cramp his artistic expression, his work must be a process of getting rid of necrotized “objectifying” forms being merely a sign of tradition, a process of looking for such forms which at this time and in this situation are a better expression of spiritual content and therefore serve in the name of the freedom of redeemed man. This is the motivation of Norwid’s “struggle against form” on different levels of his literary work. It was not so much “struggle against” as “struggle for”: in service with man, his ultimate predestination, with all that is indestructible in him. This motivation is even more convincing in view of the historical and theological perspectives found in Rzecz o wolności slowa (The Matter of the Freedom of the Word). The third part of the paper confronts Norwid with Gombrowicz - these two Polish writers who took particular interest in the problem of form. For both writers, form is not merely an aesthetic question (as for Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz) but the center of their poetic anthropology. In both the philosophy of “struggle against form” changes.into the poetics of “struggle against form” and becomes the fundamental quality of their writings. But they differ from each other radically. Norwid searches for all the misuses of form mainly of the social and more universal level. Gombrowicz goes deeper into the psychology of man and his individual deviations. The attitude of playing and distance towards each of the forms constitutes his writings. It reveals the “human condition” which is determined by the constant tension between maturity and immaturity, superiority and inferiority, officialness and suboffi- ciallness, form and formlessness. Form consciousness determines the consciousness and freedom of man “limited to himself”. Norwid fights with inadequate form in order to eliminate all that cramps man, to reveal spiritual values, to bring man closer to the attitude of love - “this eternal anti-formalism”, the attitude of mature freedom which is brought by the time of death. He remembers the evangelical letter that kills and the spirit that enlivens. What really matters to him is not the unmasking of form but the salvation of man whose nature is seen as the capability of great transcendence. Gombrowicz’s protest against form (and at the same time his fascination with it!) originates in the contemporary existentialism and the psychosociology of the 20th century. Norwid’s sensibility to form limitations is bound up with the romantic philosophy and - above all - with the Christian thought of man interpreted in a surprisingly new and perspective way. The paper ends with a personal confession. In the bringing together of thoughts and attitudes of both writers, so different as Norwid and Gombrowicz are, the author sees a chance and a hope for all we call modern Polish culture. Gombrowicz forces us, as no other writer does, to know the truth, even painful and cruel, of ourselves: what we are. Norwid helps us to know our place in the world, the sense of our presence here: wh o we are; as Poles and as people.

In his prose poem Garstka piasku Norwid credits tradition with the role of the differentia specifica of the concept “man”. This article sets out to show that his aim was not to address the problem of the differentia specifica, but to emphasize the importance of tradition for man. Its importance is twofold: (1) by preserving knowledge of what was “in the beginning”, tradition is the most fundamental source of knowledge about reality, including man himself; (2) tradition makes possible man’s “historical resurrection”, which in Norwid’s view is linked with the eschatological resurrection. Norwid’s “elevation of tradition” grew out of the religious currents of Romantic thought, especially the so-called 19th century traditionalism (De Bonald), and of the poet’s own reflections: he sought inspiration in Christianity to interpret all things from the perspective of the whole.

Father Franciszek Sawicki is considered to be one of the most important philosophers of the interwar period in Poland. The problem of love must be regarded as one of the most significant among many issues he focused on in his research. Sawicki, one of the precursors of personalistic thinking, understands the essence of love as it functions in a personal relationship. Above all, we should distinguish two areas for the realisation of love: love in relation to God and love in relation to another human being. In both instances, Sawicki emphasises the need to take into account the "erotic moment" for the sake of full and proper understanding thereof. The erotic moment elucidates love as a force that engages not only the emotional and volitional spheres, but also the categorical and existential ones. This approach enables us to appreciate the full dimension of human sexuality as it pertains to the human being and ameliorate the tendency to depreciate or idolise it.

Therefore, manners of reaching potential clients through mobile phones and social networks are current communication channels, which can build a relationship with a customer, thus increasing sales. In the article, the author presented the essence of digital marketing together with its assets, which can be of no meaning for an enterprise, which is planning to cut on the customer service costs, hence improving profits and optimizing the sales processes

Some results of experimental investigations of sands, performed in the triaxial compression apparatus with additional measurement of lateral strains are presented. These results suggest that the reversible (elastic) response of specimens is anisotropic. A simple experimental programme enables determining the elastic constants for the configuration analysed. Extensive discussion of results obtained is also presented.

In times, when organizations use new technologies for effective exploitation of their resources, thus for effective realization of set objectives, a fundamental sphere in contemporary organizations may be posed by the motivation process of human resources, all the more that a new generation is launching on the market, characterized in different values than representatives of the X generation, i.e. baby boomers. The article presents research results, which suggest qualities of the Y generation representatives entering into the labor market, and employers’ expectations. On the basis of research, author of the article demonstrated some aspects that an employer and a future employee from the Y generation should pay attention to while attempting to establish cooperation.

The main process parameter for flow reactors (and in many cases also storage reservoirs) is the detention time. In technical practice the mean value of this parameter is commonly used. This version of the detention time results from the simplified plug-flow-model, which describes the real course of considered fluid-flow-phenomena only to a low degree. In order to obtain more precise characteristics of the system, one should make use of the so-called extrinsic distribution of detention time. Unfortunately, determination of such a curve for the whole reservoir (volume-detention-time) is rather expensive and time-consuming. Preceding this, a very attractive alternative is given by the surface-detention-time, which is determined for the upper layer of the liquid, close to the free surface. Investigation of the equivalence of both these possibilities is the subject of this paper.

Experimental analysis of virgin compression of sand tested in the triaxial apparatus is presented. The experiments were performed on loose and dense specimens of "Lubiatowo" sand subjected to either isotropic or anisotropic compression. Experimental results are presented in simple analytical form useful in theoretical considerations. Mean trends of the sand behaviour and deviations from these means are determined. A simple method enabling assessment of the influence of the mean and deviatoric stresses on the volumetric and deviatoric strains, as well as identification of plastic and elastic strains, is proposed. The experimental results are also presented in standard geotechnical representation from which the compressibility and swelling constants are determined. Extensive discussion on this standard representation is enclosed, and some inconsistencies in classical literature pointed out.

The article presents the results of the dendrogeomorphological study of the activity of the Sawicki landslide, located in the Beskid Niski Mts (Polish Flysch Carpathians). The study was conducted within two study sites in the lower part of the landslide. The landslide movements were dated using the dendrogeomorphological method, basing on the eccentricity indicators calculated for the two coniferous species, i.e. Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) and silver fir (Abies alba). It was found landslide activity in years: 1899, 1901, 1905, 1910, 1913–1914, 1920–1921, 1929–1931, 1935, 1937, 1945, 1977, 1979, 1981, 1984–1985, 1990, 1992–1993, 1997, 2003–2004, 2006, 2010–2012. The greatest activity was characterized for the northern part of the study site B and the south-western slopes of the Szklarki stream valley (study site A). Studies have shown only a partial dependence between precipitation and landslide episodes. The data were confronted with the results of dendrogeomorphological studies, conducted in the northern and central parts of the landslide. The results demonstrate the significant complexity of mass movements within large-area landslide.

Au point de vue de méthode, ce travail appartient à ce type de recherches dans le domaine de la versification, qui tendent à décrire l’allure réelle du vers résultant d’une lutte entre les éléments rythmiques fixes et immuables et la formation basée sur la syntaxe, sur l’intonation et sur l’accent. Dans le cadre de ces principes, les phénomènes particuliers sont interprétés du point de vue de leur fonction. Pour faciliter le travail on a distingué 3 types d’enjambements: forts, plus faibles, les plus faibles, en prenant pour critère de division le degré d’affaiblissement de la limite rythmique (repos) à la fin du vers et la place de la coupure faite du point de vue de la syntaxe et de l’intonation, dans l’un des vers du distique à enjambement. L’étude traite surtout des enjambements forts. Pour mettre en relief les perspectives historiques du problème, l’auteur a mentionné les jugements portés sur l’enjambement par les représentants de la poétique pseudoclassique. Ils confirment un fait connu de l’histoire de la littérature: la poésie de cette période tend à la concordance de la syntaxe et de la structure rythmique, particulièrement à la fin du vers, et elle exploite les rares exceptions, en se servant de la loi du contraste, pour produire des effets particuliers. L’auteur de la présente étude se propose de montrer leâ changements quantitatifs et qualitatifs que subit l’enjambement dans la création littéraire de Mickiewicz. Les débuts de celle-ci portent l’empreinte de la poétique pseudoclassique, ce qui se manifestait, dans le domaine que nous étudions, par la tendance à faire coïncider à la fin du vers, la limite rythmique avec celle de la syntaxe et de l’intonation. Dans les cas extrêmes, cet accord ne connaissait pas d’exception (p. ex. le vers Walka miodowa). Les rares enjambements qu’on trouve dans sa poésie de cette époque étaient employés pour obtenir certains effets: ils mettaient en relief ou bien certaines significations ou bien les passages importants au point de vue de composition. En somme, ils ne dépassaient pas les règles de la poétique pseudoclassique. Tout en se servant, par la suite, de ce mode d’emploi de l’enjambement à des fins artistiques, Mickiewicz introduit plusieurs types d’enjambements pour rendre plus naturel l’allure du vers. Cette tendance persiste jusqu’à la fin dans ses oeuvres lyriques, elle est la plus nette dans les ïambes universels (Jamby powszechne) et dans certaines traductions de Byron (Le Rêve, Les Ténèbres) où Mickiewicz essaie de passer de l’exploitation des effets dûs à l’enjambement singulier à l’emploi d’un plus ou moins grand ensemble de ceux-ci. Les enjambements qui servaient à rendre plus naturelle l’allure du vers, et qui, employés dans les ïambes universels, étaient un phénomène rare dans les oeuvres de jeunesse, furent fréquemment employés à partir des traductions de Byron. Mais, à vrai dire, cette simplification de l’allure du vers de Mickiewicz était dûe à un plus haut degré encore à d’autres facteurs (et non seulement à l’enjambement) p. ex. on atteignait ce but par l’affaiblissement de la césure ou en plaçant des coupures syntaxiques très nettes, en dehors des limites rythmiques (césure et clausule). Mickiewicz à exploité cette sorte de fonction de l’enjambement pour rendre plus naturel le très long dialogue de la IIIe partie (surtout sc. VIII) des Aïeux. Dans les poétiques pseudoclassiques, on avait attribué à l’enjambement seulement une fonction „ancillaire”, le devoir de remettre en relief certaines significations. Associé à d’autres facteurs qui devaient rendre plus naturelle l’allure du vers, Tenjambement trouva une nouvelle fonction à remplir, plus naturelle et plus indépendante: il commença à influer sur l’allure du vers par sa „propre présence”, par le seul affaiblissement de la limite rythmique à la fin du vers. Ce fut une dérogation aux règles de la poétique pseudoclassique et aux usages des poètes du passé. Cette dérogation fut peu remarquée jusqu’au moment où Mickiewicz se décida d’attribuer une fonction collective aux enjambements. Il ne le fit que dans ses poèmes épiques: tout d’abord dans de courts passages formant un tout (Chant du Vaïdelote, La Redoute d'Ordon, le récit de Sobolewski dans la IIIe partie des Aïeux, Monsieur le Baron) et enfin il le fit sur une grande échelle dans Pan Tadeusz où le vers même a été mis au service de la conception épique du poème entier. Dans la fable Le roi malade et les renards, nous trouvons aussi cette fonction collective des enjambements qui servent ici à souligner l’humour et la parodie. Mais ce sont des enjambements d’une autre espèce. D’habitude, à l’aide de la syntaxe, l’enjambement „masque” la limite rythmique (pause) de la fin du vers. Dans la fable mentionnée ci-dessus, au contraire, c’est la pause de la fin du vers qui coupe les liens de la syntaxe, qui sont „rejetés” sur le vers suivant. La fable Le roi malade et les renards est un phénomène curieux mais exceptionnel. L’essentiel de la victoire remportée sur les restrictions de la poétique pseudoclassique, concernant l’enjambement, est dû à d’autres facteurs — comme on l’a dit plus haut — et cela mena à la simplicité et à la quotidienneté du monde poétique de Pan Tadeusz, exprimées avec maîtrise avec les ressources de la versification. Ainsi le principe de concordance de la syntaxe, de l’intonation et de la structure rythmique, observé par les poètes pseudoclassiques, fut définitivement aboli. Cela est confirmé par la création litt raire de Slowacki et par la poésie intellectuelle de Norwid, riche en enjambements

Franciszek Sawicki (1877-1952), undoubtedly the most prominent member among the Pelplin scholars, chose as a one of the topics of his writings the problem of the suffering, its meaning and importance for the human existence. Sawicki, as he strives to classify various instances of the evil and its manifestations, puts a question about what might be the meaning of the suffering in the context of the faith. The mundane experience of happiness binds us with this world. The suffering and death, on the other hand, directs the human being towards the supreme good and the true end of our lives which is God himself. As an outcome of the enquiry made by this sage of Pelplin we obtain a very interesting interpretation of the mystery of suffering which has an existentially optimistic dimension.

Computer Aided Design (CAD), over the years, has become one of the best methodologies for fulfilling engineering and technological needs through advanced numerical methods. CAD is considered as a mature solution, however analysis of current studies and practical examples indicate it as a deceptive illusion. CAD technology remains a rapidly growing class of methods and numerical schemes with applications in industries such as electronic, automotive, civil engineering, mechanical, biomedical and multidisciplinary projects. A number of books and papers are available on computer aided design and computer aided engineering methods. In the design, manufacturing and application processes, a thorough understanding of the properties of various technical solutions is required. Using numerical simulations, we are able to verify design assumptions, predict variations in properties and increase productivity. The current state of CAD solutions is confronted with new challenges. Specific, sophisticated engineering solutions demand the search for new algorithms as well as determine new areas of implementation. The specific methods of CAD are of interest in many industrial applications involving automation, electric and electronic instruments, electrical systems, motors, renewable energy, wireless communication, material technologies, etc. The numerical simulations can reveal valuable information on the analyzed system. Multivariate analysis and design optimization are obvious and well known extensions of CAD methods and the importance of which cannot be overestimated. The aim of this book is to provide a broad overview of CAD algorithms and to discuss the applications of CAD methods in different areas. Presentation of issues related to diverse fields provide an opportunity to learn specific solutions and it also provides an opportunity to explore wider responses for the developed methods in other areas. The analysis of various fields serves as an illustrative presentation of the strength of CAD methods.

Choosing the right childcare service for one’s child to compensate for parents’ professional working time is a significantly important decision for a mother. The study aimed to analyze whether parental styles are predictors of satisfaction with childcare services among mothers. This link was tested on a sample that consisted of 200 adult women (Mage = 32.39 years; SDage = 4.47) who were mothers of children aged 18 to 36 months. The results indicated that accepting and autonomous parenting styles were related to higher satisfaction with childcare services. In contrast, excessively demanding, protective, and inconsistent parenting styles were related to lower satisfaction with childcare services. However, given the intercorrelations between parenting styles, we found that two of them sufficiently predicted satisfaction with childcare services: acceptance (positively) and overly protective style (negatively).

Z terenów o małym wpływie antropogenicznym zebrano jedenaście ekotypów Festuca duriuscula L. W okresie trzech lat obserwowano istotne zróżnicowanie zgromadzonych obiektów pod względem wytworzonej biomasy, ilości pędów wegetatywnych i generatywnych oraz niektórych cech biometrycznych. Stwierdzono wysoki współczynnik zmienności plonowania, liczby pędów wegetatywnych i generatywnych oraz brak zmienności w przezimowaniu i porażeniu chorobami. Niektóre z badanych ekotypów mogą być cennym materiałem hodowlanym.
Eleven Festuca duriuscula L. ecotypes were gathered from the area of small anthropogenic impact. During three years the significant differentiation of collected objects regarding the produced biomass, number of vegetative and generative shoots and some biometrical features was observed. High variability coefficients for yielding and number of vegetative and generative shoots as well as the lack of variability in disease infections over wintering were found. Some investigated ecotypes could be the valuable breeding material.

Stworzył on pionierską bibliografię synodów partykularnych, zainicjował i przez wiele lat prowadził podstawową bieżącą bibliografię historyczno-prawną oraz opracował szereg bibliografii osobowych. W tekście, po prezentacji sylwetki bibliografa, przedstawiono okoliczności powstania poszczególnych spisów, przybliżono zasady doboru i selekcji materiału oraz omówiono metodę ich opracowania.
This paper focuses on the bibliographical work of the eminent canonist and seasoned bibliographer, Jakub Sawicki. He created a pioneering bibliography of particular synods, initiated and maintained for many years a basic current historical and legal bibliography and compiled a number of personal bibliographies. Following a profile of the bibliographer, the circumstances leading to the individual indexes are presented, the principles of the material’s selection are outlined and the method of their preparation is discussed.

Dynamically developing modern technologies allow organizations to streamline all of their undertaken actions. Technical and technological development constitutes an attribute of the 21st century. Analog activities adopted by an organization render the human capital work more difficult because of long pending periods, e.g. related to a decision, and they may generate unnecessary cost for the organization. Application of new technologies based on the Digital allows optimization of various processes taking place within an organization. The article presents the role and significance of the Digital in an organization.

Niewątpliwie dla życia Kościoła istotnym jest kult świętych – inspirujących wiernych, by wieść życie prawe i uczulających na możliwości angażowania swych talentów dla życia Kościoła. Jeden z najważniejszych pomorskich myślicieli okresu międzywojnia – ks. Franciszek Sawicki (1877–1952) rozumie świętość jako aktualizujący się wciąż proces kształtowania ludzkiej osobowości w duchu chrześcijańskiej aksjologii. Osobowość chrześcijańska to najistotniejszy motor kształtowania i rozwoju dziejów. W wartościach chrześcijańskich widzi czynniki, mające wpływ na kształtowanie ludzkiej osobowości w taki sposób, że mają one niebagatelny wpływ dla rozwoju kultury ludzkiej i dziejów cywilizacji. Tym samym swoją personalistyczną, chrześcijańską wizją włącza się w dyskusję między skrajnie indywidualistyczną koncepcją Thomasa Caryle’a czy Maxa Stirnera a kolektywizmem Gustawa Le Bon’a, Karola Marksa i José Ortegi y Gassset’a.
Undoubtedly, a veneration of the saints is essential for the life of the Church – inspiring the faithful to live a righteous life and making them aware of a given opportunities to turn their talents for the life of the Church. One of the most important Pomeranian thinkers of the interwar period, Father Franciszek Sawicki (1877 – 1952), understands holiness as constantly updating process of shaping human personality in the spirit of Christian axiology. Christian personality is the most important driving force behind the shaping and development of history. He considers Christian values as the factors affecting the development of human personality in such a way that they have a considerable impact on the development of human culture and the history of civilization. Thus, his personalistic, Christian vision turns into discussion between the extremely individualistic conception of Thomas Carlyle, Max Stirner and Gustave Le Bon, Karl Marx and José Ortega y Gasset, proponents of collectivism.
