Purpose: The issue of quality culture is a topical one, whilst contemporary socio-economic conditions set new requirements for it, including a systemic approach based on the requirements of management standards, which have prompted us to analyze this approach to the subject. Design/methodology/approach: The article presents an in-depth analysis of sourced texts compiled with the requirements of ISO 9004. Findings: The paper specifies the postulates resulting from the analysis of the issue, which, in the opinion of the authors, indicate the most important aspects related to building a quality culture in organizations. Practical implications: The analysis of the issue presented in the article indicates its topicality and importance in the improvement of each organization, indicating the need to implement the activities described in the article into management practice. Originality/value: The presented analysis of the issue indicates the most important contemporary problems for the authors related to building a quality culture. The article contains a model of building a quality culture based on activities shaping the awareness of employees in organizations with an implemented management system.

Dynamiczne zmiany w gospodarce światowej zmuszają organizacje do permanentnego doskonalenia sposobów funkcjonowania we wszystkich obszarach ich aktywności. Problemem większości organizacji jest to, jak sobie poradzić z realizacją procesów biznesowych w erze informacji i wiedzy, bo zmieniają się narzędzia i technologie wykorzystywane do pozyskiwania informacji, ich gromadzenia, przetwarzania, selekcjonowania, analizowania, zarządzania i przekazywania odbiorcom. Konieczne jest zatem rozbudowywanie lub dostosowywanie procedur realizacji procesów do warunków, które narzuca gospodarka elektroniczna. W pierwszej kolejności zmiany powinny uwzględniać architekturę informacyjno-komunikacyjną. Celem artykułu jest zaproponowanie modelu wymagań dla innowacyjnego systemu informacyjno-komunikacyjnego, który udoskonali proces zawarcia małżeństwa konkordatowego realizowanego w parafii Kościoła katolickiego (KK). Na podstawie analizy przebiegu procesu i informacji uzyskanych w drodze wywiadu bezpośredniego ze stronami w procesie zidentyfikowano, uporządkowano i scharakteryzowano wymagania dla modelu systemu. Opracowany model ukazuje możliwości wykorzystania technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych (ICT) w realizacji tego procesu. Walidacja modelu pozwoliła określić wpływ ICT na efektywność tego procesu.
The aim of the article is to propose the requirements model for innovative information and communication system, which will improve a concordat marriage process in the parish of the Catholic Church. The paper identifies, organizes and describes requirements for this model. The model shows the possibilities of using information and communication technologies (ICT) in this process. Validation of the model helped to determine the impact of ICT on the efficiency of this process.

The article presents aspects of the pre-implementation analysis and the possibility of the realization of the practical implementation of the computerized production management information system in a production company. It presents the pre-implementation analysis with the consideration for the specific character of the production company. The paper also presents information related to the possibilities of the management of the project of the practical implementation of the computer system and the example of the practical implementation of the system in a Metals Processing Center KOMECH.

In the years 2011–2012 Polish universities were obligated to implement education requirements In compliance with the National Qualifications Framework. First the universities defined intended learning outcomes, a basis on which curricula were drawn up. The most difficult part of the implemented system is the appropriate identification of method(s) to assess whether the expected learning outcomes have been achieved. This article discusses an examination system commissioned by maritime administration for seafarer examining, and indicates possibilities of using the developed solutions in the process of learning outcomes assessment at technical universities and academies.

Opis:
The article deals with the problem of designing diagnostic systems. During this process it is possible to use sets of requirements which are very commonly used in the software area. The requirements may influence both on the set of possible solutions of diagnostic system as also on the set of criteria which will be used for evaluation of these solutions. Selecting an optimal solution is not an easy task, especially for given the nature of the diagnostic field. But this process can be improved by using expert system. Knowledge base of this system, which contains possible solutions of designed system can be recorded in the form of multimodal statement networks. During the inference process, it is possible to isolate some subset of preferred solutions. This process should be carry out based on available information about technical object, operational conditions and imposed project limitations. The received subset of solutions should be the basis for further analysis, which leads to get the final solution of a diagnostic system.
Artykuł opisuje problematykę projektowania systemów diagnostycznych. Zwrócono uwagę, że podczas przeprowadzania takiego procesu możliwe jest wykorzystanie zbiorów wymagań powszechnie stosowanych w obszarze inżynierii oprogramowania. Wymagania mogą mieć wpływ zarówno na postać definiowanego zbioru możliwych rozwiązań projektowanego systemu, jak również na zbiór kryteriów, względem których rozwiązania te będą oceniane. Proces wyboru rozwiązania optymalnego z powodu specyfiki dziedziny jaką jest diagnostyka techniczna nie jest zadaniem łatwym. Może być on usprawniony poprzez wykorzystanie systemu doradczego. Baza wiedzy tego systemu zawierająca możliwe rozwiązania projektowanego systemu diagnostycznego może być zapisana pod postacią wielomodalnych sieci stwierdzeń. W wynik procesu wnioskowania na podstawie dostępnych informacji o obiekcie technicznym, warunkach jego pracy oraz narzuconych ograniczeniach projektowych wyodrębniany jest pewien podzbiór rozwiązań preferowanych. Są one podstawą dalszej analizy, w wyniku której opracowywany jest ostateczny projekt systemu diagnostycznego.

The current status of EGNOS (December 2006) is described as Initial Operations Phase and the EGNOS Open Service is just about to be formally declared as available for non-safety of life service. In meanwhile the EGNOS Signal in Space is provided almost in its nominal level and delivering, when available, the nominal system performance. New positioning technologies, such as EGNOS in Europe, create a new quality in marine navigation and bring further improvement of the maritime transport safety. It may be expected that very soon EGNOS will find significant interest among the maritime community serving as the augmentation system in the maritime transport applications of GNSS. The paper discusses the EGNOS status and the expected EGNOS performance in the context of marine navigation requirements. The system performance analysis is backed with the study of the various field tests results where the EGNOS positioning performance was verified by author in the experimental way.

W artykule przedstawiono główne wymagania związane z systemem zarządzania środowiskowego na szczeblu samorządów. Autorzy scharakteryzowali trzy poziomy zarządzania środowiskowego: strategiczny, taktyczny i operacyjny. System zarządzania środowiskowego powstaje w oparciu o standard ISO 14001, jednakże samorządy powinny brać pod uwagę także specyficzne zasady realizacji swoich zadań. Lokalne systemy zarządzania środowiskiem powinny stanowić gwarancje zrównoważonego rozwoju gmin.
The paper presents the key requirements connected with the Environmental Management System in local governments. Authors characterise three levels of environmental management: strategic, tactical and operational. The Environmental Management System is built according to the standard ISO 14001 but local government should take into consideration specific principles of their activities. Local Environmental Management System should ensure sustainable development.

The dynamic development of motorization causes inadequate parking places in the city centers as well as in their outskirts. The emergence of new residential buildings and public utilities results in the need to create new parking spaces. Due to the problem of limited development space as well as the high cost of building plots, investors decide to create one or multi-storey closed garages. The area of these garages often reaches several tens of thousands of square meters. For these new parking spaces, an adequate and effective ventilation system should be provided, which at the same time functions as a residential ventilation system, and has a fire ventilation function as a means of protecting escape routes and rescue teams during a fire.

This paper presents the main aspects concerning the systemic approach to the problem of interoperability of rail transport. Follow decision about the opening of the EU market and transport services for rail transport, the European Parliament and of the Council have introduced a number of interoperability directives for implement interoperability on the rail system in EU. Their goal was to get the integration of rail transport systems, despite the differences in control -command and signaling systems, power supply and operation system, to be rich on the safe and not disrupted train running over the different countries (different infrastructure managers). The article indicated the main areas in the railway system which are depends on strongly of the interoperability implementation.
