The aim of this study is to demonstrate the validity of the thesis that in Indonesia one can find institutions that characterize two power-sharing models which are considered opposites of one another in political theory – centripetalism and consociationalism. In consequence, the Indonesian power-sharing system should be viewed as a hybrid, or mixed, system, and not a typically centripetal system as is usually the case in the literature. At the beginning of this article, a short analysis of Indonesia's political situation is given for the purpose of defining the factors which determined the introduction of inter-segmental power-sharing solutions in that country. This is followed by a description of the specificity of consociationalism and centripetalism. The article goes on to discuss specific institutions of both power-sharing models which exist in Indonesia and ends with some concluding remarks on the thesis advanced at the outset.

Opis:
The trend of sharing is increasingly evolving both in today’s organizations and in their environment. The aim of this study is to present the importance of sharing resources and power for modern organization and economics, mechanisms and reasons for the development of this phenomenon, as well as the forms and consequences flowing from it. In the article, the authors refer to both the altruistic and economic bases of the phenomenon of sharing in the modern economy, while indicating the forms of relations that are built on them. Based on current data and literature research, it has been found that sharing becomes a macro-trend pervading modern organizations and economics, expanding to the increasingly broader areas of human social activity.  
Trend współdzielenia coraz wyraźniej rozwija się zarówno we współczesnych organizacjach, jak i w ich otoczeniu. Celem niniejszego opracowania jest przedstawienie znaczenia współdzielenia zasobów i władzy dla współczesnych organizacji i ekonomii, mechanizmów i przyczyn rozwoju tego zjawiska, a także form i konsekwencji zeń płynących. Artykuł powstał w oparciu o zestawienie aktualnej literatury przedmiotu, raportów oraz wyników badań – ma charakter syntezujący aspekty ekonomiczne oraz wewnątrzorganizacyjne. W opracowaniu autorzy nawiązują zarówno do altruistycznych, jak i ekonomicznych podstaw fenomenu współdzielenia we współczesnej gospodarce, wskazując przy tym formy relacji, które są na nich budowane. W oparciu o aktualne dane i badania literaturowe stwierdzono, że współdzielenie staje się makrotrendem przenikającym współczesne organizacje i ekonomię, ekspandującym do coraz szerszych obszarów działalności społecznej człowieka.

Knowledge flow between employees is an important process that influences both effectiveness and innovativeness. Among the antecedences of the employees’ knowledge sharing behaviour are the physical structure of the organization and the decisions concerning placement of individuals in the work space. The paper examines how organizational architecture and location of employees is related with different types of knowledge sharing. In this case study research the work place observation and content analysis of interviewees were applied. The study was done in the Quality Department in Polish subsidiary of multinational concern. It turned out that where there was the greater physical distance between employees and limited visual contact, the responsive knowledge sharing was favoured. Moreover, the more open was the work space where employees from different departments were located, the employees looked for the cloistered areas to share knowledge and that process was less spontaneous. In order to eliminate the spatial constrains to knowledge sharing, the group leaders in the department, regularly organized meetings facilitating knowledge flow in the groups.

The aim of this paper is a presentation of forms of flexible work organization, commonly known as job sharing, in both its theoretical and empirical aspects, on the basis of research conducted on a sample of sixty-five businesses. Job sharing has been in use since the 1960s. It is not widely known in Poland to date, but is presently being promoted by the EQUAL Common Initiative, where quite a few projects are financed by the European Social Fund. However, not all aspects of job sharing are stressed by the current wave of interest. In fact, they are quite often limited to its social meaning, thus restricting its use and value. This article argues that job sharing is also a form of work organization for specialized work teams, autonomous groups, and team working. Using job sharing in this context brings more benefits to the enterprise. This, in its turn, may serve as a means of enlarging the use of job sharing, including in its social economic meaning.

The dissemination of the idea of the sharing economy has created new opportunities in many areas of consumer life. A particular impact can be seen in the short-term rental and joint travel market. The popularity of online portals allowing shared car trips demonstrates that this is an area worth exploring. This research involved 275 respondents in order to identify the main factors conditioning the willingness to use these types of services. A confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the existence of three factors – savings, expectation and atmosphere – that determine the use of car-sharing. The article describes the entire procedure and estimates the fit of the model. Finally, limitations and recommendations for further research are provided.

This article attempts to evaluate the effectiveness of the minimum wage in combating poverty, with particular emphasis on the effectiveness of its influence on the social and occupational groups that should most benefit from its effects, i.e., workers hired based on employment contracts on a full-time basis. The article relates the legally guaranteed income from work to the social minimum and existential minimum, as both these categories have a common nature, i.e., they are normative models of satisfying life needs at a low level and should, therefore, be secured by the level of minimum pay received.
W artykule podjęta została próba oceny efektywności płacy minimalnej w zwalczaniu ubóstwa oraz w zabezpieczeniu przed ubóstwem rodzin tych pracowników, którzy są zatrudnieni w oparciu o umowę o pracę w pełnym wymiarze czasu pracy, a którzy za swoją pracę otrzymują wynagrodzenie na poziomie płacy minimalnej. Dokonano odniesienia poziomu gwarantowanych prawem dochodów z pracy na poziomie płacy minimalnej do minimum socjalnego oraz minimum egzystencji ze względu na to, że obie te kategorie są normatywnymi modelami zaspokojenia potrzeb życiowych na niskim poziomie, a zatem winny być zabezpieczone przez poziom otrzymywanej płacy przez pracownika. W artykule została podjęta także próba oceny wynagrodzenia minimalnego w Polsce jako gwarancji otrzymywania przez pracowników wynagrodzenia na poziomie godziwym.

The implementation of the sustainable transport policy in cities aims at finding various solutions that support the use of ‘clean energy’ in urban logistics. One of current global sustainable transport trends involves various measures related to electromobility. An example of electromobility in urban logistics is the e-car-sharing, or a short-term electric car rental. Since electric car-sharing is rather new to the transport market, operators and cities and metropolises may face various difficulties while implementing such services. Based on still operating and discontinued e-car-sharing systems, the authors analysed strengths and weaknesses of those systems with the focus on implementation and maintenance issues. The goal of the article is to determine strengths and challenges for e-car-sharing in urban logistics. The article is designed to assist stakeholders interested in the implementation of e-car-sharing. The analysis was provided under the international research project of ‘Electric travelling platform to support the implementation of electromobility in Smart Cities based on ICT applications’ funded from the National Research and Development Centre as a part of the ERA-NET CoFund Electric Mobility Europe Programme.

The mandatory management systems implemented since 2008 in rail transport resulting from legal requirements [1-8], very often (especially in the first years of implementing the requirements) functioned independently of the optional procedural approach - ISO standard [9-10]. Currently, the integration of requirements in both the mandatory and voluntary areas has become common practice. Legal requirements and recommendations do not define or suggest any specific form of extending the existing management systems. Regulation EC 402/2013 in Article 3 point 7 [8] defines only the obligation of interaction between systems (interfaces mean all interaction points during the system or subsystem life cycle). The publication describes the relationship between the requirements in the field of management systems currently used in the railway system resulting from legal requirements (Safety Management System - SMS) and voluntary implementations (Quality Management and Environmental Management System).

The main purpose of this paper is to determine which barriers are significant for prosumers and global team employees, and in turn what can discourage them from knowledge sharing. The main assumption was that prosumers and employees can share knowledge seamlessly, but that very often they are reluctant to do so. It seems to be a challenge for businesses to know which barriers hinder prosumers and employees in sharing knowledge. To find the answer to the main and specific research questions, as well as to present a complete picture of knowledge sharing barriers from the employee and prosumer perspectives, we combined two research methods in our study – qualitative and quantitative. The research process embraced a survey among prosumers and interviews with global team employees. The contribution of this paper is twofold: (1) a knowledge sharing barriers analysis, and (2) a conceptual framework development which presents the common barriers for knowledge sharing amongst prosumers and employees of global teams, to fulfil the research gap extant in the literature.

The article presents the development of urban car-sharing systems. In recent years we have observed substantial increase in the number of such systems implemented all over the world. Cel artykułu: analiza głównych założeń nurtu food sharing i ocena szans jego rozwoju w kontekście redukcji ilości marnowanej żywności. Metodyka badań: analiza źródeł literaturowych, internetowych, statystycznych oraz danych udostępnionych przez inne instytucje, pozwalających na zestawienie ze sobą odpowiednich pojęć, definicji i danych. Wyniki: przeprowadzona analiza wskazuje na zauważalny i upowszechniający się w społeczeństwie trend, związany z ograniczeniem marnowania żywności, co jest potęgowane przez szerokie zastosowanie aplikacji internetowych. Wnioski: obecnie, w obliczu braku rozwiązania odnoszącego się do efektywnego systemu dystrybucji żywności (z regionów, gdzie jest ona marnowana, do krajów z jej niedoborem), food sharing ma szansę, by stać się ważnym elementem wspierającym redukcję ilości marnowanej żywności i zmiany świadomości społeczeństwa w zakresie powiązanych z tym zjawiskiem negatywnych skutków.
Aim of the article: analysis of the main assumptions of the Food sharing trend and assessment of development opportunities in the context of reducing food waste. Methodology of analysis: analysis of literature, internet, statistical sources and data made available by other institutions allowing for juxtaposition of relevant concepts, definitions and data. Results: the analysis indicates a noticeable and widespread trend in society related to the reduction of food waste, which intensifies the widespread use of web applications. Conclusions: in the current era, in the absence of a solution related to an effective food distribution system (from regions where it is wasted to countries with its shortage), Food sharing has a chance to become an important element supporting the reduction of the amount of wasted food and changing public awareness in terms of negative effects related to this phenomenon.

The aim of this analysis is to examine the characteristics of the Airbnb network, to verify the share of Airbnb offers that belong to the sharing economy and to identify the differences between the spatial distribution of the Airbnb network and the traditional hotel industry. The article is based on a unique dataset of web-scraped data on Airbnb listings in Warsaw (Poland), combined with district-level official statistics on the hotel industry. The analysis shows that only approximately 11% of offers belong to the sharing economy (“individuals granting each other temporary access to their under-utilised assets”), while at least one third of offers are provided by professional firms. The Airbnb network shows a strong centre-periphery pattern, with 75% of offers located within a range of 4.3 kilometres from the centre. The spatial concentration of Airbnb offers is strongly driven by their distance from metro lines, while it is weakly related to the amount of living space. On the district-level, the spatial distribution of Airbnb listings is correlated with that of the hotel industry, although Airbnb contributes to a more even spread of tourism in the city. The major contribution of this analysis is its presentation of the size and characteristics of the platform, which is essential for data-driven policy making.

Celem artykułu jest próba identyfikacji działań zorientowanych na kształtowanie wizerunku online przez platformę pośredniczącą w wymianie usług noclegowych Airbnb. Do ich rozpoznania zastosowano metodę jakościowej analizy treści (z elementami analizy ilościowej), a techniką analizy był opis. Działania wizerunkowe Airbnb porównano z działaniami jej najważniejszego rywala, tj. platformy HomeAway. Wyniki badań wskazują, że Airbnb kreuje się na konkurenta największych grup hotelowych, lidera branży i podmiot social media, dbający o środowisko społeczne i przyrodnicze, rzetelnie wyceniający swoją ofertę w stosunku do jej jakości, przyjazny i funkcjonalny dla użytkowników. Pomimo że zastosowana metoda ma swoje ograniczenia, to jednak uzyskane wyniki charakteryzują się użytecznością i mogą zostać wykorzystane w procesie zarządzania wizerunkiem organizacji.

In recent years, the sharing economy has stimulated the development of entities that have contributed significantly to sustainability through the impact of technological, demographic, and cultural changes observed in society. This research aims to determine the motivation of participation of the Turkish consumers contributing to the sharing economy by using the self‑determination theory. For this purpose, a questionnaire was conducted with 160 participants contributing to the sharing economy through the use of Airbnb, which is the most commonly used among sharing economies around the world. Examining the results of the research, it is noted that among the three motivational factors (economic benefit, enjoyment, sustainability) which have a positive effect on attitude, only the level of perceived enjoyment has the highest effect on the attitude and also an effect on the behavior intention.

In many countries, the grid-code or standards do not allow the Photovoltaic (PV) inverters to exchange reactive power with the grid. Recently, some countries have relaxed the standards. Hence, capacity of the inverters to control reactive power must be utilized. However, the reactive power that a PV inverter can supply is constrained by the maximum power that a PV array generates and changes with the environmental conditions. A reactive power sharing algorithm is proposed that not only ensures proper distribution of reactive power amongst the inverters, but also ensures that the maximum power generated by PV is supplied to the grid. In case of identical PV inverters, the algorithm operates all inverters at nearly equal apparent power leading to nearly equal percentage utilization of the inverters, thereby achieving uniform heating of the similar devices of the inverters. The algorithms are further investigated for power sharing amongst PV inverters of unequal ratings. It is highlighted that the proposed algorithm results into the least change in the utilization factor of a PV inverter, whose power changes due to the change in environmental conditions. The effectiveness of the algorithm over other algorithms in sharing power amongst inverters is displayed through MATLAB/Simulink simulations.

The industry pushes towards Smart grid systems in order to resolve current limitations of the unidirectional legacy power grid infrastructure. By introducing Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) as an integral part of the Smart grid solution, the utility company obtains an invaluable tool to optimize its network, lower the operational costs, and improve quality of service. Unfortunately, introducing two-way communication poses a security risk to the power grid infrastructure. In this paper the authors consider a Threshold Attendance Protocol (TAP) acting in a reverted security paradigm. Its main idea is to keep the network load at a predictable level at all times. To achieve that, TAP in AMI environment is embedded and the solution using real-life simulation parameters is validated.

This article is a research exercise. The purpose of the study is to provide an insight into what young singles know about the sharing economy and what their key motives are for using the BlaBlaCar platform, the most popular sharing economy venture for passenger transport. In the theoretical part of the text, based on a critical analysis of the literature, the concept and essence of the sharing economy are explained, the BlaBlaCar transport service is characterised as a flagship example of the sharing economy, and an attempt is made to explain the terms “single” and “young single”. The empirical section focuses on the research conceptualisation and a description of the research sample and its characteristics. Subsequently, following the author’s own research, the knowledge of young singles about the sharing economy is analysed, and the most important motives encouraging them to use the BlaBlaCar platform are discussed. The analysis is based on a survey questionnaire administered from May 1 to July 30, 2018 in a sample of 826 young singles who made independent decisions in the market. The survey shows that young singles demonstrated fairly good knowledge of sharing economy ventures and the most popular car sharing websites. However, they are confused about the rich terminology associated with collaborative platforms and often misunderstand the sharing economy, identifying it with the access economy, gift economy or on-demand economy. BlaBlaCar is undoubtedly one of the most popular examples of the practical application of sharing economy fundamentals. The survey reveals that almost three-fifths of respondents use the BlaBlaCar platform. Its active participants are most often men in the 18–23 age group, with a bachelor’s or engineering degree, earning a monthly income not exceeding PLN 3,000, and living in cities with over 500,000 inhabitants. Lower travel costs, better travel conditions, the possibility of reaching a destination quickly and directly and environmental considerations proved to be the most important motives for the respondents to use BlaBlaCar. In turn, social relations that are established among the users of websites such as BlaBlaCar.pl are a kind of hybrid of relations developed in direct interaction during shared rides and those built up in cyberspace.
Artykuł ma charakter badawczy. Celem opracowania jest uchwycenie wiedzy posiadanej przez młodych singli na temat gospodarki współdzielenia oraz kluczowych motywów skłaniających ten segment konsumentów do korzystania z serwisu BlaBlaCar jako najpopularniejszego przedsięwzięcia sharing economy w zakresie transportu osobowego. W części teoretycznej tekstu, na podstawie krytycznej analizy literatury, wyjaśniono pojęcie i istotę gospodarki współdzielenia, scharakteryzowano usługę transportową BlaBlaCar będącą jej sztandarowym przykładem oraz podjęto się próby wyjaśnienia pojęć „singiel” i „młody singiel”. W części empirycznej artykułu skoncentrowano się na konceptualizacji badań oraz opisie próby badawczej i jej cechach charakterystycznych. Następnie na podstawie badań własnych przeanalizowano wiedzę młodych singli na temat sharing economy oraz omówiono najistotniejsze motywy zachęcające ich do korzystania z serwisu BlaBlaCar. Podstawą analizy jest kwestionariusz ankiety przeprowadzonej w okresie od 1 maja do 30 lipca 2018 roku na próbie 826 młodych singli, którzy podejmowali suwerenne decyzje na rynku. Z przeprowadzonego badania wynika, że młodzi single wykazali się w miarę dobrą znajomością przedsięwzięć sharing economy i najpopularniejszych serwisów internetowych w zakresie współdzielenia pojazdów, jednak gubili się w bogatej terminologii związanej z platformami współpracy i często nieprawidłowo pojmowali gospodarkę współdzielenia, utożsamiając ją z gospodarką dostępu, gospodarką daru czy gospodarką na żądanie. BlaBlaCar to niewątpliwie jeden z najpopularniejszych przykładów zastosowania fundamentów gospodarki współdzielenia w praktyce. Z przeprowadzonego badania wynika, że prawie 3/5 ankietowanych korzysta z serwisu BlaBlaCar. Aktywnymi uczestnikami wspomnianej platformy wymiany są najczęściej mężczyźni z grupy wiekowej 18–23 lata, legitymujący się wykształceniem licencjackim lub inżynierskim, dysponujący miesięcznym dochodem nieprzekraczającym 3 tys. PLN i zamieszkujący miasta powyżej 500 tys. mieszkańców. Najważniejszymi motywami skłaniającymi badanych do korzystania z BlaBlaCar okazały się niższe koszty podróży, lepsze warunki podróżowania, możliwość szybkiego i bezpośredniego dojazdu do miejsca docelowego oraz względy ekologiczne. Z kolei relacje społeczne, jakie nawiązują się między użytkownikami serwisów typu BlaBlaCar.pl, stanowią swoistą hybrydę relacji powstających w bezpośredniej interakcji w czasie wspólnych przejazdów oraz tych, które powstają w cyberprzestrzeni.

Nowe technologie w dziedzinie łączności, cyfryzacji i automatyzacji umożliwiają obecnie rozwój usług związanych ze współdzieleniem pojazdów, organizowanych przez miasta lub firmy komercyjne. Trwa testowanie systemów carsharingu elektrycznych pojazdów autonomicznych i minibusów na wezwanie (ridesharing) – ułatwiających w szczególności mobilność osobom niepełnosprawnym. Wraz z rozwojem systemów mobilności współdzielonej i smartfonowych aplikacji dla carsharingu powstają nowe modele biznesowe obsługi miejskich przewozów pasażerskich. Sukcesy operatorów carsharingu i ridesharingu skłaniają do szczegółowych analiz skutków współdzielenia pojazdów autonomicznych w koegzystencji z, jeszcze długo dominującymi w ruchu miejskim, samochodami tradycyjnymi. Bardzo obiecujące wyniki scenariuszy modelowych doprowadziły do podjęcia prób pogłębionej symulacji wpływu wdrożenia współdzielenia pojazdów na funkcjonowanie systemu transportu w dużych miastach europejskich: Lizbonie i Helsinkach. W wyniku zastąpienia samochodów prywatnych transportem współdzielonym w aglomeracji lizbońskiej ogólna liczba pojazdokilometrów w godzinach szczytu zmniejsza się, w porównaniu ze stanem obecnym, o 55%, a emisja CO2 o 62%, przy jednoczesnej redukcji niezbędnej powierzchni parkingowej aż o 95%. Podobne rezultaty odnotowano również w Helsinkach.
New technologies in the field of communication, digitalization and automation make possible further development of the transportation services (organized by a city or private companies), such as car sharing and a ridesharing. Testing of electric, autonomous vehicles car sharing and ridesharing is in progress, helping in particular the people with special mobility needs. New business models for car/ride sharing are emerging. Research on coexistence of autonomous vehicles car sharing with traffic dominated for a long time by traditional cars is of great importance. Modeling scenarios with very optimistic results on several urban areas are continued for some big European cities, where the impact of a full scale car sharing system on people mobility is investigated. Simulation results in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area are very encouraging: the total number of vehicle kilometers, comparing with present situation, is lower by 55%, CO2 emissions are lower by 62% and 95% of parking areas could be changed for recreation functions. Results obtained during analyses for the Helsinki Metropolitan Area are more or less similar.

Shared transportation, directly corresponding to research on the sharing economy, is an important issue, directly linked with the issue of city transport, as well as that of alternative transport when analysed from a broader perspective. Forms of alternative city transport may be classified into two basic groups, different in terms of the manner in which they use their shared vehicles. It is either ride-sourcing or vehicle-sourcing (further broken down to car-sharing, bike-sharing and scooter-sharing). All the above-specified forms require access to a mobile app or a website and, consequently, some Internet and app-using skills, so it is obvious that they are predominantly used by young people. The fact prompted the author to research consumer behaviour in the sharing economy area among young people, who are regular users of the public transport available in Krakow. The research was conducted on a group of 96 respondents using qualitative method (FGI). The objective of the research was to identify the factors which determine some specific mobile behaviours in young adults in the area of alternative forms of the public transport, as well as identification of these forms of transport which are preferred and most popular among users. With all certainty, alternative forms of transport represent an attractive transportation offer addressed to young people, complementing the city transport system. Young people pointed to the particular importance of hedonistic factors prevailing n their choices, as they particularly appreciated reaching their destination in a fast, pleasant and comfortable anner, as well as the feeling of independence and freedom. However, alternative transport was certainly not hosen for reasons related to the environmental protection or economic aspects.

Współcześnie w miastach podejmuje się wiele działań mających na celu ograniczyć nadmierne zatłoczenie. Rozwój przestrzeni w miastach, a także wykorzystanie transportu do codziennych podróży, przyczyniły się do powstania wielu alternatywnych form transportu - między innymi rowerów publicznych. W ostatnich latach system rowerów publicznych został poddany wielu wyzwaniom. Celem artykułu jest ocena stanu rozwoju systemu rowerów publiczych w Polsce. Podmiotem badań są polskie miasta posiadające systemy rowerów publicznych. Oceny dokonano za pomocą narzędzi wielowymiarowej analizy porównawczej (analiza skupień oraz taksonomiczy mierik rozwoju). W wyniku przeprowadzonych badań analizowane obiekty wykazują zróżnicowanie pod względem cech chraketryzujących systemy rowerów miejskich.
Today, many actions are taken to reduce traffic in cities. The development of urban space, as well as the use of transport for everyday travel, have contributed to the creation of many alternative forms of transport, including bike sharing. In recent years, the bike sharing system has been subject to many challenges. The aim of the article is to assess the condition of development of the bike sharing system in Poland. The subjects of the research are Polish cities with bike sharing systems. The assessment was made with the use of multidimensional comparative analysis tools (cluster analysis and such economic development). As a result of the conducted research, the analyzed objects show differentiation in terms of characteristics that characterize the systems of city bikes.

One of the important roles of virtual organizations is to facilitate sharing resources related to the area of collaboration. This paper presents an approach to handling resources in Computational Intelligence and Machine Learning distributed over a large number of sites. Resources are first discovered in the internet, evaluated, and then shared among users. Reasoning and adaptation methods can then be applied to best fit resources into users’ needs without a long search process.

Today, sharing knowledge requires taking into account many aspects. Variable environmental conditions, the people factor, and the security of resources are just a few that should be considered for a noticeable improvement in the functioning of the company. Supporting this course of action requires the identification of all barriers that may exist in the enterprise. Only the owner and senior management by establishing system and organizational changes can influence this element of the business. The aim of the article is to indicate the problems in this respect that block the proper functioning of the company in the field of information and knowledge exchange. The survey was conducted with the help of a questionnaire among 189 respondents. The industry has significantly decreased in the last few decades, currently there are 307 companies operating in Poland. Conclusions from the conducted research were collected on the basis of a questionnaire survey. The further stage of the research will be to compare the collected results with the results from Western European countries.

This report focuses on the safety analysis in the multistate ageing system after changing the safety state by any of its components, the inside interactions among the remaining components may cause the change of those components’ safety states. As we consider multistate systems, in a local, equal and mixed load sharing model of dependencies. For them, we analyze the safety of a multistate parallel-series and “m out of l”-series system, assuming that the lifetimes of subsystem components in the safety state subset are decreasing according to the local load sharing rule and the lifetimes of subsystems are decreasing according to the equal load sharing rule.

One relatively new area of contemporary science research on management is crowdsourcing and virtual knowledge sharing occurring within it. It is defined as the dissemination of knowledge by a virtual community, informing others, making it public, expecting that others will comment on this knowledge, expand and complete it. Such a sharing of knowledge is particularly important for co-creating, participating, or acquiring innovative ideas by an organization. However, despite its positive impact on the organization, it has not been the subject of comprehensive research so far. This article presents the existing output in the scope of the ways of measuring community knowledge sharing within crowdsourcing. In this elaboration, explanations as to why it is worth studying virtual knowledge sharing may be found.

Facebook groups enable their members access to diverse resources symbolic and material, scarce and free, exhaustible or renewable. Depending on the group’s objective, resources are co-used, gifted, bartered, swapped, freecycled or sold (bought) by users responding to the needs of others or satisfying their own needs. Based on posts collected through the Facebook’s Application Programming Interface (API), this study examines sharing of resources among Polish immigrants in Germany, Norway and United Kingdom, belonging to the public Facebook groups. Findings suggest that the most important resource shared by members of Polish immigrant groups on Facebook is job-related information. Moreover, Facebook groups appear to be a popular selling tool and less effective sharing space for Polish immigrants in Germany, Norway and UK. However, some sharing economy models such as freecycling, swapping and bartering are identified based on Facebook posts.

The rationale for choosing the object of research is the recognition of the socio-cultural validity of new ways of management (New Economy), interpreted as a response to the exhaustion of traditional ways in which societies function, i.e. those based on ideas of growth and ownership. The aim of the article is to analyse selected examples of redefinition of the concept of good in the context of new social narratives and the grounding of certain beliefs related to the idea of degrowth and sharing economy. The article is theoretical and references to contemporary research on cultural philosophy and social analyses of economic practice. A socio-regulatory concept of culture was adopted as a research perspective, and humanistic interpretation was used as an explanatory procedure. Qualitative data was analysed using atlas.ti, concept driven coding was used, and content analysis was limited to concept analysis and the creation of conceptual maps. The research results are supposed to show: 1. the impact of modern forms of economic practices using the Internet and IT technology on the redefinition of good, 2. how this redefinition builds the axiological background of society of collaborative consumption.

Only the use of a broader perspective allows the understanding of the importance of car sharing, including electric vehicles, in contemporary social and economic processes. The diagnosis of factors that may affect the widespread use of car sharing, which we treat as an element of cities’ response to congestion and smog, requires a reference to the knowledge of the previously mentioned scientific disciplines. The core value of this article is that it provides a multi-faceted perspective on the consumer and prosumer, urban mobility and the energy ecosystem from the point of view of the sharing economy and zero/low carbon cars. In recent years, the number of research articles on car sharing has been growing (Ferrero, Perboli, Rosano, & Vesco, 2018); however, studies written from the point of view of a single, less often two scientific disciplines dominate. We propose to extend this perspective. Although, in research terms, this work is preliminary and exploratory, adopting a broad observation perspective should allow for establishing a dialogue between disciplines to ensure better formulation of research problems and solve socio-economic dilemmas not only in the field of the sharing economy, and to better introduce the issue of car sharing to the area of management sciences.
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie współdzielenia samochodów (car sharing – CS), ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem samochodów elektrycznych jako interdyscyplinarnego obszaru badawczego. Dotyczy to nie tylko nauk społecznych – zarządzania (strategii czy marketingu), socjologii, ekonomii (w tym ekonomii współdzielenia), psychologii konsumenta, lecz także urbanistyki, nauk inżynierskich (elektrotechniki czy energetyki) czy wreszcie ekologii. Dopiero wykorzystanie szerszej perspektywy pozwala na zrozumienie znaczenia współdzielenia pojazdów, a w tym pojazdów elektrycznych, we współczesnych procesach społecznych i ekonomicznych. Diagnoza czynników mogących wpłynąć na powszechne wykorzystanie car sharingu, który traktujemy jako element reakcji miast na kongestię i smog, wymaga nawiązania do wiedzy z zakresu wskazanych wcześniej dyscyplin naukowych. Podstawowa wartość niniejszego artykułu polega na tym, że zapewnia wielowątkowe spojrzenie na konsumenta i prosumenta, mobilność miejską i ekosystem energetyczny z punktu widzenia ekonomii współdzielenia i samochodu zero/niskoemisyjnego. W ostatnich latach liczba artykułów badawczych dotyczących car sharingu rośnie (Ferrero, Perboli, Rosano i Vesco, 2018), jednak dominują opracowania pisane z punktu widzenia pojedynczej, rzadziej dwóch dyscyplin naukowych. Proponujemy rozszerzenie tej perspektywy. Choć w kategoriach badawczych niniejsza praca ma charakter wstępny i eksploracyjny, przyjęcie szerokiej perspektywy obserwacji powinno pozwolić na nawiązanie dialogu między dyscyplinami, aby zapewnić lepsze formułowanie problemów badawczych i rozwiązywanie dylematów społecznoekonomicznych w dziedzinie ekonomii współdzielenia, a też lepiej wprowadzić zagadnienie współdzielenia do obszaru nauk o zarządzaniu.

The article presents the results of research into one of the newest phenomena within popular culture, which is the “subtitles scene”. this term refers to creating free subtitles for foreign films and tv series that Poles download from the Internet. We investigated a community, which is engaged in this activity. Research carried  out by an online survey in the beginning of 2013 showed, as it was expected, that it is a group of well-to-do, relatively young people, who have a good educational background and are associated with big cities. However, contrary to common intuitions, it turned out, that these people did not have linguistic education (the community of translators is dominated by people with technical education) and do not work in the creative industries. The other interesting issue is the complex system of motivation, which drive them to make Polish-language subtitles for free.

The article is focused on the phenomenon of the so-called uberisation (uber economy) process, which combines technological innovations with precarious workforce management techniques in urban environment. The main aim of the paper is to describe and explain this problem in the perspective of the Neil Smith's rent gap theory on the examples of Airbnb and Uber internet platforms and to present their impact on Polish urban areas. The article uses source literature as well as public and commercial databases and reveals that the presence of global sharing economy platforms at the local level is to the existence of economic capital rather than social, even if very often it is perceived in the opposite way.

Purpose – The aim of the article is an attempt to assess the approach of market participants to the sharing economy in the context of own empirical research against the background of surveys of agen-cies and other research centres. Research method – The implementation of the aim required the use of the direct method – question-naires. The research results from 2016-2020 are presented.Result – The obtained results of own research and the data taken from reports of other research centres do not give a clear answer to the question of how the sharing economy will develop in Poland. However, it seems that the growth will be inevitable. The only question is how dynamic the new eco-nomic model and the development of companies based on it will be. Originality / value / implications / recommendations – The publication describes the essence of the sharing economy, and also changes in consumption trends, which are more and more frequently encountered also in Poland. Fragments of own survey research from 2016-2020 involving the issue were presented. In the future, it is necessary to continue research in the marked area.

This article presents the use of the stakeholder analysis method to characterize the strategic position of car sharing services in Poland. The theoretical part presents a detailed theory of stakeholders, as well as detailed methods and the course of the interest group analysis procedure. It covers the fundamentals of stakeholder theory which refers to the concept of strategic planning, system theory, organization theory, social responsibility and strategic management. The characteristics of stakeholder analysis are presented together with mostly used methodology. The focus is put on most common analysis tools including the matrix of M. Johanson and K. Scholes based on the earlier Mendelow matrix and the map of stakeholders. The legitimacy and benefits of using the discussed method to determine the strategic position of modern and developing services have been presented. The research part presents an example of the use of the stakeholder analysis method in the Polish sector of car sharing services. The car-sharing services company stakeholder analysis of 23 entities provided knowledge on building relationships with employees and their involvement in the company's processes. The analysis made it possible to improve the strategic position of the company and determination of its position in negotiations with other organizations.
W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono wykorzystanie metody analizy interesariuszy do scharakteryzowania pozycji strategicznej usług car-sharingu w Polsce. W części teoretycznej przedstawiono szczegółową teorię interesariuszy, a także przedstawiono metody szczegółowe oraz przebieg procedury analizy grup interesu. Obejmuje podstawy teorii interesariuszy, która odnosi się do koncepcji planowania strategicznego, teorii systemów, teorii organizacji, odpowiedzialności społecznej i zarządzania strategicznego. Przedstawiono charakterystykę analizy interesariuszy wraz z najczęściej stosowaną metodologią. Nacisk kładziony jest na najpowszechniejsze narzędzia analityczne, w tym macierz M. Johansona i K. Scholesa opartą na wcześniejszej macierzy Mendelowa oraz na mapie interesariuszy. Przedstawiona została zasadność i korzyści wynikające z zastosowania omawianej metody do określenia pozycji strategicznej nowoczesnych i rozwijających się usług. W części badawczej przedstawiono przykład wykorzystania metody analizy interesariuszy w polskim sektorze usług współdzielenia pojazdów samochodowych. Analiza 23 interesariuszy podmiotu świadczącego usługi car sharingu dostarczyła wiedzy na temat budowania relacji z pracownikami i ich zaangażowania w procesy firmy. Analiza pozwoliła na poprawę strategicznej pozycji firmy i określenie jej pozycji w negocjacjach z innymi organizacjami.

Sharing economy and common consumption are issues that are increasingly addressed in the contemporary scientific discourse. What is extremely important is that social networks are an increasingly common inspiration for changes in the environment. Also relatively popular is the phenomenon of foodsharing — sharing food. The problem raised in this article concerns the identification of development barriers and the perspectives of foodsharing social networks in the space of Polish cities. The aim of the article is to examine awareness and understanding of the concept of foodsharing, its characterization, analysis of the current situation on the Polish market, also in terms of forms of activity based on peer-to-peer solutions. The aim of the work the author implements based on direct observation, analysis of the text of current documents, own surveys.

The main goal of the paper is to assess the awareness and understanding of the so-called shared mobility among the representatives of car sharing operators and cities in one of the first studies on this issue undertaken in Poland. We asked two groups of stakeholders in Poland – car sharing operators (7 companies) and cities (19 entities) – about the current state and the future of shared mobility. Research was conducted using web questionnaires between January and April 2018. The main observations are as follows. Firstly, public transport is one of the main areas determining citizens’ quality of life, and Polish cities seem to realize it. While the Smart City concept and smart mobility are at an early stage of development, city authorities search for optimal solutions increasing the quality of public transport, including experimentation with shared mobility and car sharing. Secondly, the car sharing market in Poland is relatively young and, taking into consideration data from more developed car sharing markets (e.g. Germany), we can expect that it will grow rapidly in the next years. Many entities from different backgrounds (energy companies, car rental companies, municipal authorities) are entering the Polish shared mobility market. Thirdly, the critical factors which will be decisive for the future development of the car sharing market are: a) close cooperation between cities and operators to make different forms of shared mobility and their accessibility more complementary, b) availability of parking spaces dedicated to car sharing services.
Głównym celem artykułu jest ocena świadomości i zrozumienia idei tzw. mobilności współdzielonej wśród przedstawicieli operatorów carsharingu i miast w jednym z pierwszych badań w Polsce. Zapytaliśmy dwie grupy interesariuszy – operatorów carsharingu (7 firm) i przedstawicieli miast (19 podmiotów) – o obecny stan i przyszłość mobilności współdzielonej. Badania ankietowe przeprowadzono za pomocą kwestionariuszy internetowych między styczniem a kwietniem 2018 r. Główne obserwacje są następujące. Po pierwsze, transport publiczny jest jednym z podstawowych obszarów decydujących o jakości życia obywateli, a polskie miasta zdają sobie z tego sprawę. Podczas gdy koncepcja Smart City i inteligentna mobilność są na wczesnym etapie rozwoju, władze miasta szukają optymalnych rozwiązań podnoszących jakość transportu publicznego, w tym eksperymentują z mobilnością współdzieloną i carsharingiem. Po drugie, rynek carsharingu w Polsce jest stosunkowo młody, a biorąc pod uwagę dane z bardziej rozwiniętych rynków (np. z Niemiec), możemy spodziewać się szybkiego jego wzrostu w kolejnych latach. Wiele podmiotów z różnych środowisk (firmy energetyczne, wypożyczalnie samochodów, władze miejskie) wkracza na rynek mobilności współdzielonej. Po trzecie, kluczowymi czynnikami decydującymi o przyszłym rozwoju rynku carsharingu będą: a) ścisła współpraca między miastami i operatorami w celu uzupełnienia różnych form wspólnej mobilności i zapewnienia ich dostępności; b) dostępność miejsc parkingowych przeznaczonych dla samochodów współdzielonych.

In the era of digitization and general access to Internet resources, it seems natural to expect fast, direct, and tailored access to the knowledge of interest. The research shows that the use of modern technologies is not reserved only for industrial solutions, but can be applied in common use. Solutions based on artificial intelligence can provide solutions to many problems of the modern world. This is particularly visible in the era of challenges related to ecology (e.g. minimization of paper consumption) and expectations of fast access to information regardless of place and time. Treating chatbots as a tool supporting the customer in current activities, quick problem-solving shows the potential and care for the image of the producers. Developing the functionality of virtual assistants used for marketing activities with the functionality of technical support can bring tangible benefits both in the economic and social spheres. It should be noted that electronic versions of documents, knowledge transferred in an interactive form can be easily updated and presented in different forms. This increases the attractiveness of transmitted knowledge, users can choose the appropriate form, and access to these resources becomes easier. Artificial intelligence-based tools in the form of chatbots (also called virtual assistants) seem to be a solution worthy of interest. This paper presents the process of developing a virtual assistant to support the maintenance and repair activities of small household appliances. A chatbot aims at gathering in one place and then providing dedicated knowledge resources to an individual user on a just-in-time basis.

Drinking fresh water, turning the lights on, travelling by tram, calling our family, or getting a medical treatment are usual activities, but the underlying SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems like CIS (Critical Infrastructure Systems), ICS (Industrial Control Systems) or DCS (Distributed Control Systems) were always the target of many types of attacks, endangered the above mentioned simple activities. During the last decades because of the fast spread of the internet based services and the continuous technical development these systems become more vulnerable than ever. Full reconstruction and innovative changes in older SCADA systems has high cost, and it is not always rewarding. Communication protocols as Modbus (1979) serve as a main basis for SCADA systems, so security of Modbus has a major impact of the security of SCADA systems. Our paper raises and answers questions about the security of the Modbus RTU protocol. We focus on the serial Modbus protocol, because in that method we found many unsolved problems, like lack of authentication of the participants, lack of secure channel and so on. The aim of this paper to propose a secure communication alternative for Modbus RTU @ RS485 wire. The main advantage of the proposed method is the coexistence with traditional slaves and bus systems and only software update is necessary.

The objective of this paper is to estimate performance of a new approach for spectrum sharing and coordination between terrestrial base stations (BS) and On-board radio access nodes (UxNB) carried by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). This approach employs an artificial intelligence (AI) based algorithm implemented in a centralized controller. According to the assessment based on the latest specifications of 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) the newly defined Unmanned Aerial System Traffic Management (UTM) is feasible to implement and utilize an algorithm for dynamic and efficient distribution of available radio resources between all radio nodes involved in process of optimization. An example of proprietary algorithm has been described, which is based on the principles of Kohonen neural networks. The algorithm has been used in simulation scenario to illustrate the performance of the novel approach of centralized radio channels allocation between terrestrial BSs and UxNBs deployed in 3GPP-defined rural macro (RMa) environment. Simulation results indicate that at least 85% of simulated downlink (DL) transmissions are gaining additional channel bandwidth if presented algorithm is used for spectrum distribution between terrestrial BSs and UxNBs instead of baseline soft frequency re-use (SFR) approach.

Objectives: After the collapse of Communism in Central and Eastern Europe, the idea of joining a prosperous bloc, which would provide financial assistance, seemed an opportunity not to be missed. However, with the possibility of the funding drying up, and the initial feeling of euphoria fading, the alignment of CEE and Western Europe on values was put to a test. This gave way to discussions about alternatives to the EU. One of them is Intermarium. This paper examines the potential benefits Intermarium countries could attain in terms of consumption risk sharing. Aims: The research takes an alternative approach to economic integration, concentrating on economic stability. In particular, it makes an empirical analysis of consumption risk sharing in Intermarium, as well as drawing a comparison with the EU and the euro zone core. Research Design & Methods: The paper uses method of risk sharing assessment proposed by Kose et al. (2009) extended by the authors to accommodate panel data setting. Findings: As the empirical results illustrate, the past integration between the old EU and its new member states weakened the Intermarium mechanisms of consumption insurance, especially in comparison to the euro zone countries. Implications / Recommendations: The potential benefits of Intermarium fall short of the EU alternative. Contribution / Value added: The paper presents the results of the first examination of the extension of risk sharing in Intermarium countries.

The paper will discuss the impact of development of sharing economy on ecological sustainability for the tourism sector at global scale since the main focus in the literature is generally limited to economic and social impacts. It will provide a mathematical model in order to measure the impact of the sharing economy on the welfare of individuals who take part in particular tourism destinations as well as providing benefits for other individuals as a positive external outlook. The development of the model will be dependent on the findings obtained in this study. The results will show that the sharing economy together with collaborative consumption in the tourism sector is an increasing trend in global economy that contributes to ecological sustainability as well. By sharing the means of production, transportation, communication etc both tourists and service providers are capable of decreasing their ecological footprints. In conclusion the paper will contribute to the literature by filling a gap with respect to the lack of connection between environmental sustainability and sharing economy in tourism sector.

Basing on general theories on the sharing economy, the authors describe the key concepts of legal framework governing that phenomenon, which arise at the EU level and the national one, in particular regarding such issues as tax and economic law as consumer protection. The phenomenon is not only a matter of theory and law, because the sharing economy is an important part of everyday life, while its economic significance clearly translates into market values. The study does not exhaust legal and tax aspects of the sharing economy, which are extremely complex and multi-faceted.

An algebraic type of structure is shown forth which is such that if it is a characteristic matrix for a logic, then that logic satisfies Meyer's weak variable sharing property. As a corollary, it is shown that RM and all its odd-valued extensions RM2n-1 satisfy the weak variable sharing property. It is also shown that a proof to the effect that the "fuzzy" version of the relevant logic R satisfies the property is incorrect.

Background: Challenges in today's business environment require from logistics and supply chains managers continuous searching for innovative methods in business processes management, oriented to the simultaneous achievement of the Triple Bottom Line effects, namely economic, social and environmental. As a result, the concept of sharing economy is nowadays gaining rising significance among business practices. It has positive impact on building and development of collaborative relations between business partners in value chains as well as between potential market competitors. Sharing economy in logistics and supply chain management determines the requirement to manage companies' potential and relations between them in a different way. Materials and results: The paper is based on a desk research. The authors conducted a review of recent literature, reports of international institutions and consulting firms, conference presentations, materials provided by companies, professional business movies and other Internet sources. As a result of the materials analysis, different best practices in sharing were described and success factors for their development in logistics and supply chain management were indicated. Conclusions: The development of sharing practices is one of the most important aims of the managers responsible for business processes management in supply chains, especially for logistics processes. The presented sharing practices highlight different implementation possibilities and their significant influence on business activities in various aspects. Despite the variety, sharing practices have common characteristics, which could be indicated as their operational and strategic success factors. They enable the authors to present practical recommendations addressed to logistics and supply chain managers.
Wstęp: Wyzwania współczesnego otoczenia biznesowego wymagają od menedżerów logistyki i zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw ciągłego poszukiwania innowacyjnych metod zarządzania procesami biznesowymi, zorientowanych na równoczesne osiąganie efektów Triple Bottom Line, czyli ekonomicznych, społecznych i środowiskowych. W rezultacie, obecnie wśród praktyk przedsiębiorstw coraz większe znaczenie zyskuje koncepcja ekonomii współdzielenia. Ma ona pozytywny wpływ na budowanie i rozwój relacji współpracy zarówno pomiędzy partnerami biznesowymi w łańcuchach wartości, jak i pomiędzy potencjalnymi konkurentami rynkowymi. Ekonomia współdzielenia w logistyce i zarządzaniu łańcuchami dostaw tworzy potrzebę odmiennego sposobu zarządzania potencjałem przedsiębiorstw i relacjami między nimi. Materiały i rezultaty: Praca powstała na podstawie analizy źródeł wtórnych. Autorki przeprowadziły przegląd najnowszej literatury, raportów z badań międzynarodowych instytucji i firm doradczych, prezentacji konferencyjnych, materiałów udostępnionych przez przedsiębiorstwa, profesjonalnych filmów i innych materiałów internetowych. Na podstawie analizy materiałów źródłowych, przedstawiono różnorodne najlepsze praktyki współdzielenia zasobów i wskazano czynniki sukcesu ich rozwoju w logistyce i zarządzaniu łańcuchem dostaw. Wnioski: Rozwój praktyk współdzielenia zasobów stanowi ważny cel menedżerów odpowiedzialnych za zarządzanie procesami biznesowymi w łańcuchach dostaw, w tym w szczególności za zarządzanie procesami logistycznymi. Zaprezentowane przykłady przedsięwzięć sharingowych określają różnorodne możliwości zastosowań i ich istotny wpływ na działalność przedsiębiorstw w różnych aspektach. Pomimo różnorodności, można wskazać ich wspólne cechy mające charakter operacyjnych i strategicznych czynników sukcesu. Umożliwiły one autorkom sformułowanie rekomendacji mających walory aplikacyjne, skierowanych do menedżerów logistyki i zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw.

The paper focuses on the internal knowledge sharing, namely on the methods and practices used in the case of tacit knowledge exchange among the individuals within an enterprise. Therefore, the first aim of the paper is to present the methods and practices that are recommended by knowledge management’s experts in the process of tacit knowledge sharing. The second research purpose is to determine which of those methods and practices are most frequently used by surveyed enterprises and how employees evaluate their utility in tacit knowledge sharing. In order to achieve the second purpose of the research, a survey was carried out in 153 enterprises located in the region of Wielkopolska in Poland, operating on domestic and foreign market. The first section of the work provides a brief summary of guidelines on tacit knowledge sharing within an enterprise highlighted in the relevant literature and a set of methods and practices that are used in tacit knowledge sharing which are recommended by the specialists in the field of knowledge management. Then the paper presents the results of own study on the surveyed group of enterprises. In the concluding remarks possible implications for the development of tacit knowledge sharing are suggested. The research results allow the conclusion that according to what is reported in the literature, tacit knowledge sharing is associated with broad defined staff training system. So exchange of tacit knowledge mainly takes two forms in surveyed enterprises: collective learning and transmission of accumulated previously knowledge to other employees within a company. However, as the research results suggest, the degree of using methods and practices for tacit knowledge sharing could be higher. Rather small level of tacit knowledge sharing in surveyed enterprises may be caused by insufficient activities focused on developing a strong organizational culture based on trust and cooperation.

The essay critically approaches the current state and directions of changes in the university education. We see the critical point in the unconditioned endorsement by the university of the market values of intense competitiveness of global economy and the cult of the pro-market education which is its inevitable result. We would like to argue that although the university must respect economic conditions and limitations, nevertheless we fear that the ongoing process of corporatization of the university with its management strategies such as cutting costs, scanning environments for competitive purposes, re-engineering highly competitive efficiency criteria for the staff will bring about a neglect of the humanist values rooted in intellectual and social sensibility and hence undermine the social mission of the university which, apart from professional skills and research, must cultivate intellectual pluralism by providing space for intelligent conversation, sharing critical views of the present state of things thus fostering social criticism and the spirit of responsible dissent.

Access economy (gospodarka dostępu) i sharing economy (gospodarka dzielenia się) to modele charakterystyczne dla gospodarki XXI w., w których dotychczasowy paradygmat ekonomiczny, związany z własnością i posiadaniem, ulega zmianie na rzecz dostępu, współdzielenia i dzielenia. Analizowane modele przybrały także charakter nowych kierunków, dynamicznie rozwijających się w gospodarce XXI w., przede wszystkim dzięki nowoczesnym technologiom informacyjno-komunikacyjnym oraz mediom społecznościowym. Celem pracy jest charakterystyka modeli, znanych w historii myśli ekonomicznej już od setek lat, jakie w nowej odsłonie pojawiły się we współczesnej gospodarce i wpływają na decyzje ekonomiczne zarówno konsumentów, jak i producentów w kontekście innowacji. Ze względu na zakres prezentowanej tematyki, w pracy wykorzystano metodą opisową, metodę historyczno-porównawczą oraz analizę treści publikacji naukowych.

Sharing economy was supposed to be a phenomenon leading to a reform of the socio-economic system. However, monetization of work performed by online communities collaborating towards creation and maintenance of portals such as Uber and Airbnb triggered the formation of a model of capitalism which rests upon the idea of corporation as a broker in transactions between individual providers and the recipients of services. The adverse effects of "platform capitalism", i.e., excessive concentration of ownership and relaxation of employment, have led to a countermovement, namely platform cooperativism. This article analyses the phenomenon of platform cooperativism, that is, the movement which aims at revising the current direction of the development of sharing economy by suggesting an alternative, socially-distributed ownership and management model. In order to achieve that, we expose the main tensions accompanying the expansion of sharing economy which is interpreted as a "double movement" in Karl Polanyi's terminology, or public opposition to the commodification of further spheres of social life. We contend that the tensions between corporate sharing economy and platform cooperatives touch upon issues critical to economic theory, such as the boundaries of work, management and profit distribution, as well as the meaning of innovation.

Creating the required IT infrastructure to enable the ability for comfortable remote working is not an easy task. Improper configuration can create the possibility of taking over the whole bandwidth of the link by one device. Increasing bandwidth introduces extra costs and does not completely eliminate the problem – it will be more difficult to take over the whole bandwidth, but it is still possible. The solution to the problem may be the use of clouds and VPS, but it is associated with high costs and the need to entrust company data to providers of these services. Due to security and too high costs, this may not be an optimal solution. An alternative solution may be to use QoS along with PCQ. This mechanism allows to ensure equal division of the bandwidth between the devices under its control. With an appropriate configuration, QoS can eliminate the problem of taking over the whole bandwidth and ensure equal access to resources.
