The aim of the study was to determine the importance of basic professional activities of a trainer in Olympic martial sports, defining the differences between trainers’ opinions and discovering the main groups of activities characteristic for a given martial sport. Methods and Resources. Opinions of 37 trainers with many years of experience in boxing (n=11), Olympic taekwondo (n=13) and wrestling (n=13) were collected via a questionnaire composed of 20 activities, to which respondents allocated a rank from 1 to 4. Results. The most important activities of an Olympic martial sports were managing the technical, tactical and physical preparation of a trainee. Boxing and taekwondo trainers’ opinions were very alike (rsp=0.78; p<0.001). On the other hand, the greatest discrepancies between views were found in taekwondo and wrestling trainers (rsp=0.01; p>0.05). The most important professional activities created various clusters depending on the specifics of a martial sport. Conclusions. Hierarchization of the basic professional activities of a trainer showed consistency in the most important ones, and discrepancies between those defined as less important. Opinions of the trainers in sports similar in terms of the combat techniques were similar. Three martial sports trainers differed in the way they perceived the importance of directing their trainees during sports competitions. The groups of professional activities of a trainer differ between boxing, taekwondo and wrestling.

The study concerns the legal protection of professional titles, which are related to professional activities. It presents the genesis of such professional titles and their protection in Poland, which initially related to the protection of selected so-called ‘free legal professions’ (such as tax advisor, advocate, legal advisor, patent agent). The evolution of the subjective scope of how these professions occurred is also presented, including the introduction of this type of solution in relation to certain professions termed ‘free economic professions’ (chartered accountant, stockbroker and investment advisor), certain ‘free medical professions’ (nurse/nurse, midwife/midwife, laboratory diagnostician, physiotherapist, pharmacist), and selected socalled ‘free professions’, within which no professional self-governments functions (real estate appraiser). In this regard, it is noted that the legal protection of professional titles went beyond the scope of professional activity and also covered certain spheres of economic activity, an example of which are detective services provided by persons holding the professional title of detective. Against the background of the analysis of European standards, it is established here that the introduction of legal protection of professional titles should now be regarded as one of the means of regulating access to a profession. It is shown that the essence of the legal protection of the professional title comes down to the right of authorised persons to use the title on an exclusive basis, in order that other persons may not use the reserved title in this way, nor may their behaviour mislead the users of their services as to the fact that they hold a specific professional title, even if they have the appropriate knowledge and skills. There are various forms of legal protection – criminal, administrative and civil liability measures apply, but there are no comprehensive guarantees. A legally protected professional title can also be regarded as one of the determinants of the concept of a profession.

Wstęp. Na stopień zaangażowania osób z niepełnosprawnością w aktywność ekonomiczną wpływają różne czynniki natury demograficznej. Celem pracy była ocena aktywności zawodowej osób z niepełnosprawnością fizyczną, mieszkańców województwa lubelskiego w uwarunkowaniach socjo-demograficznych. Materiał i metody. Badania ankietowe zostały przeprowadzone od maja do października 2014 roku wśród 233 osób z niepełnosprawnością fizyczną, mieszkańców województwa lubelskiego. Narzędziem badawczym był kwestionariusz ankiety własnego autorstwa. Wyniki. Wyniki przeprowadzonych badań wskazują, że 51,07% (n=119) respondentów było aktywnych zawodowo, a cechami socjo-demograficznymi wpływającymi na aktywność zawodową okazały się: wiek, miejsce zamieszkania, wykształcenie, stan cywilny oraz stopień niepełnosprawności (p<0,05). Wnioski. Ważnymi determinantami aktywności zawodowej osób z niepełnosprawnością jest wiek, zamieszkanie w mieście, wykształcenie wyższe i średnie, status związku małżeńskiego oraz lekki i średni stopień niepełnosprawności.
Introduction. The level of involvement in economic activity of people with disabilities is influenced by various demographic factors. The objective of the work was an evaluation of the professional activities of persons with physical disabilities who were residents of the Lublin Province taking into account social and demographic conditions. Materials and method. The survey was carried out in the period from May to October 2014 on a group of 233 persons with physical disabilities, residents of Lublin Province. The research tool was a questionnaire prepared by the author of the paper. Results. The research results show that 51.07% (n=119) of the respondents declared that they were professionally active, and the social and demographic characteristics influencing their professional activity were age, place of residence, education, marital status, and level of disability (p<0.05). Conclusions. The most-significant determinants of PA in persons with disabilities are working age, living in a city, higher and secondary education, marital status, and a low or moderate level of disability.

Wprowadzenie: Celem badania było poznanie opinii osób trenujących karate kyokushin dotyczących znaczenia (hierarchii) poszczególnych czynności zawodowych trenera. Materiał i metody badań: Badaniami objęto 54 praktyków z 25 klubów karate kyokushin w Polsce. Wiek badanych wynosił 35,0 ±12,0 lat, doświadczenie treningowe 15,9 ±8,7 lat. Wszyscy respondenci posiadali poziom wyszkolenia technicznego co najmniej 1 dan. W badaniach wykorzystano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego, a narzędziem był kwestionariusz ankiety Tumaniana w polskiej wersji Januszewskiego i Sterkowicza. Wyniki: Do najważniejszych czynności zawodowych trenera karate kyokushin należą trzy rodzaje kierowania zawodnikiem: kierowanie przygotowaniem fizycznym, technicznym i taktycznym. Bez względu na podziały organizacyjne oraz wiekowe, opinie dotyczące znaczenia poszczególnych czynności zawodowych trenera były zbieżne (rsp = 0,79–0,92; p < 0,001). Wnioski: Ranga czynności zawodowych trenera karate kyokushin zbliża tę odmianę walki bardziej do sportu niż sztuki walki czy systemu samoobrony. Rangi podstawowych czynności zawodowych trenera karate kyokushin, zapasów, boksu, MMA, taekwondo ITF i sportowego jiu-jitsu są zbieżne.
Introduction: The aim of this study was to collect and analyse the opinions of people who train karate Kyokushin regarding the importance (hierarchy) of individual professional activities of the coaches. Material and methods: The research involved 54 practitioners from 25 karate Kyokushin sports clubs in Poland. Respondents were aged 35.0 ±12.0 years, and their training experience was 15.9 ±8.7 years. All respondents had a technical level of at least 1 dan. Survey method was used, and the questionnaire developed by Tumanian and modified by Januszewski and Sterkowicz was applied. Results: The most important professional activities of a karate Kyokushin coaches reported include three types of management: managing physical, technical and tactical preparation of athletes. Regardless of organizational and age divisions, opinions regarding the importance of particular professional activities of coaches were convergent (rsp = 0.79 −0.92, p <0.001). Conclusions: Structure professional activities deemed most important, allows classified karate Kyokushin as more of a sport than a martial art of self-defense.

The study presents the content-analysis (n=135) and factor analysis of students’ mental states of expectations (n=123). The understanding of mental states of expectations by education workers allows for the operationalization of the process of solving tasks of students’ academic and professional training. The purpose is to examine the structure, variables and interdependence of the factors of students’ mental states of expectations. The research methods are content-analysis, tests with standardized questionnaires, factor analysis. Factor analysis was used to determine the structure of mental states of expectations. The principal factor in this structure is F1“meaning-of-life moderation” (20.70%), which is interrelated with F2 “pragmatic regulation” (=.404; p≤.01) and F3 “subjective regulation” (=.357; p≤.01). The obtained results could be useful for education directors organizing the academic process of students, and also for scientists in the field of psychology of expectations, psychology of constructing the future.

The text presents partial results of research on theory and practice integration in future teachers’ undergraduate training. The aim was to find out respond- ents’ opinions on the level of theoretical and practical training integration in the processes of developing specific professional competences during study. Research tools consisted of a self-designed questionnaire and interviews (only partial questionnaire outputs are included because of limited content of study). The research sample was composed of 171 students of a master’s degree in teaching at three MBU1 teacher training faculties. The obtained data were processes by tools of descriptive and multi-dimensional statistics. Results indicate great discontent of the respondents with the low level of connection between theoretical and practical training in the processes of developing special professional competences during study and provide starting points for necessary system changes in the theoretical and professional practical training of future teachers.

Opis:
Aim. The primary objective of this study was to analyze the connection between students’ learning efficiency and different indicators of personal perfectionism. The secondary objective was to study the characteristics of students’ learning effectiveness depending on the level of perfectionism. Methods. The participants of the study were 110 students studying at the National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”. The level of personal perfectionism was measured with use of “Perfectionism” questionnaire by N.H. Haranian and A.B. Kholmohorova. The level of learning activities efficiency was measured due to expert evaluation with participation of 26 lecturers-experts. Descriptive statistics were used to report means and standard deviations of perfectionism scales and learning efficiency levels. T-test was used for finding differences in level of personal perfectionism among students with different level of learning efficiency. Pearson correlation coefficient was used for establishing correlations between level of learning efficiency and different scales of personal perfectionism. Results. The level of learning efficiency of students depends on the pace of learning, the quality of learning, the ability to generalize and synthesize new information. Positive statistically significant correlations were found between perfectionism and student learning efficiency. Conclusions. The study identified that the most vulnerable to manifestations of perfectionism is a group of students who demonstrate the highest achievement in learning. Due to the excessive expectations of others (real or fictional), they set unrealistic goals, do not feel satisfied with their achievements, do not adequately assess their capabilities.

Niniejszy artykuł stanowi próbę zdefiniowania oraz wzajemnego odniesienia do siebie pojęć „bezpieczeństwo wewnętrzne” i „lobbing” oraz dokonanie opisu działalności podmiotów powszechnie określanych jako lobbujące, ich pozycji, roli i znaczenia wobec konstytucyjnego dobra podstawowego, jakim jest bezpieczeństwo państwa, przede wszystkim rozpatrywanego przez pryzmat jego podstawowego elementu składowego jakim jest bezpieczeństwo wewnętrzne, najistotniejsze z punktu widzenia oceny właściwości Agencji Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego. W artykule przeanalizowano zakres pojęcia „bezpieczeństwo wewnętrzne” ze szczególnym odniesieniem się do dorobku polskiej nauki prawa. Wobec braku definicji legalnej tego pojęcia omówiono jego znaczenie doktrynalne, przytaczając jednocześnie pełną listę aktów normatywnych posługujących się tym pojęciem. Ponadto artykuł opisuje pojęcie „lobbing” i wskazuje na problemy definicyjne związane z ustaleniem jego jednolitego znaczenia, zwłaszcza w kontekście niespójnych zapisów ustawy o działalności lobbingowej w procesie stanowienia prawa. W artykule opisano także relację lobbingu (działalności lobbingowej) i zagrożeń, które może on (ona) generować dla bezpieczeństwa wewnętrznego państwa, dochodząc do wniosku, że ocena ta jest praktycznie niemożliwa przez pryzmat ustawy o działalności lobbingowej, lecz wymaga szerszego spojrzenia odnoszącego się zarówno do przepisów karnomaterialnych jak i kompetencyjnych poszczególnych służb.
The aim of the following article is to try to define the notions ”internal security” and „lobbying”, to identify relations between them and to create a description of subjects commonly known as lobbyists, their position, role and meaning in the relation with the material constitutional standard, which is the security of the state, particularly with special attention to the internal security as its main and the most important part regarding the scope of competence of the ABW (Internal Security Agency). The scope of the notion ”internal security” was analyzed, with special attention to the polish jurisprudence. Having in mind, that there is no legal definition of this notion, its meaning was analyzed and the statutes in which this notion is used, were enlisted. Moreover, the article describes the notion ”lobbying” and indicates problems in defining it, especially concerning incoherent provisions of the statute on lobbying activities in the course of legislation procedures. Finally, the lobbying relation and the threats to the internal security of the state in the course of lobbying activities were described, reaching to the conclusion that this kind of analysis, basing solely on the provisions of the statute on the lobbing activity, is not complete and it is necessary to look wider on the problem, including analysis of the penal law provisions and provisions setting out the scope of the competences of the services.

Artykuł porusza zagadnienie publicznej działalności żołnierzy zawodowych w świetle postanowień Konstytucji RP z 1997 r. i ustawy z dnia 11 września 2003 r. o służbie wojskowej żołnierzy zawodowych. Autor szczegółowo analizuje wolności i prawa polityczne przysługujące obywatelom, zdefiniowane w Konstytucji RP i możliwość ich realizacji przez żołnierzy zawodowych w świetle ograniczeń nałożonych na nich w pragmatyce służbowej jaką jest ustawa o służbie wojskowej żołnierzy zawodowych. Celem przeprowadzonych analiz jest wskazanie zakresu praw obywatelskich w sferze aktywności publicznej przysługujących żołnierzom zawodowym, których szczególny stosunek służby wymusza określone ograniczenia w korzystaniu z tych praw.
The article describes the issue of the public activity of professional soldiers in the light of the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland of 1997 and the Act of September 11, 2003 on the military service of professional soldiers. The author analyzes in detail the political freedoms and rights of citizens, defined in the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and the possibility of their implementation by professional soldiers in the light of the restrictions imposed on them in the Act on the military service of professional soldiers. The aim of the analyzes carried out is to indicate the scope of civil rights in the sphere of public activity that professional soldiers are entitled to, whose special service relationship imposes certain restrictions on the exercise of these rights.

The following study presents partial research results regarding identification of specific leader and professional competencies of teachers with various teaching experience and students of teaching1 (N=318) in school conditions. The results are related to specific pedagogical activities and their per- formance with the emphasis on pupils’ discipline guidance at school. The main goal of the study was to find out whether there are any differences in respondents’ subjectively claimed difficulty level of performance in various pre-defined specific pedagogical activities linked to discipline in Slovak school conditions. A questionnaire of custom design was used as a research tool. Mathematical and statistical methods of one-dimensional and multi-dimensional inductive and descriptive statistics were used to elaborate the collected data. The results were compared with previous research findings in the sphere of professional competencies of teachers and students of teaching and with the results in National Report from International Research OECD TALIS (2008, 2013, 2018). The results suggest, that not only in Slovakia, but also in other countries, the character of professional problems of both future teachers and teachers in practice (despite the differences in preparatory education) is similar and has a certain international universal validity. It has been proved that the activities which were developed mostly theoretically (i.e. not at all) are the most difficult ones for the respondents to tackle. They identified that the most educational needs for their further education is needed in these activi- ties. Additionally, it was verified that there are statistically significant differences in the majority of pedagogical activities between the compared groups based on a statistically independent variable - length of teaching experience.

The author of the opinion welcomes the initiative to change regulations criticized by the Constitutional Court, but also expresses reservations about the submitted bill. From legal analysis of the bill it follows that the system of operational control proposed therein, appears to be illusory and capable for abuse by the officers, which in turn may lead to gross violations of privacy of the individual. Attention is drawn to the issue of the protection of professional secrets. The task of overseeing the operational activities should be assigned to central judicial authorities on the basis of regulations enabling them effective control over the activities of services, both in cases involving citizens as well as deputies, senators and President of the Republic.

The article deals with the implementation and operation of the system of psychological support of the workers of the Ukrainian railways. An important role belongs to the system of psychological support of activities of the railway workers of Ukraine for to improve the quality and efficiency of rail transport, train safety, reduction of injury, occupational diseases and management of human resources. This system is a holistic process of learning, formation, development and correction of professional growth. It is a system of professional activities of psychologists, aimed at creating social and psychological conditions for success and psychological development of the individual in the process of professional interaction. The psychologists of depot regional and suburban trains and locomotive depots provide functioning of this system. The Beginning of the psychological support services - December 2004. At first it was only for members of locomotive crews, given this history, and a significant share of this category of workers guilty of violations of train safety. The members of the research department of human factor «DNDC UZ» together with the relevant departments if «Ukrzaliznytsya» are exercising methodological support, monitored and coordination activities of psychologists. The results of the introduction of psychological support activities: 1. Decreasing the negative impact of human factors on safety on the railways. 2. Prevent the emergence of neuropsychiatric disorders and psychosomatic diseases. 3. Increasing resistance to stressful situations of locomotive crews. 4. Reducing the number of problem (conflict) situations that arise when locomotive crews are incompatibility. 5. Improving the socio-psychological climate in the collectives. 6. High level of professional motivation of locomotive crews. 7. High level of loyalty among the conductors and locomotive crews to the company “Ukrzaliznytsya” 8. Decrease the potential fluidity of personnel.

The paper addresses the problem of the welfare of the person who is the recipient of a psychologist’s professional activities as the paramount principle in the ethical evaluation of such activities. Emphasis is placed on two important issues connected with this problem: the accuracy of the concept of recipient of the activities undertaken by a psychologist and the comparison of the value of welfare and well-being categories in the ethical analysis of psychological activities. Emphasis in the paper is placed on the value of the concept of recipient of a psychologist’s activities, which becomes particularly evident with reference to the situation of work for the benefit of individuals with various kinds of disabilities and for the benefit of their families. The article also elaborates the thesis of the greater value of the category of welfare in ethical analysis of the psychologist’s professional activities.
