If D = (V,A) is a digraph, its domination hypergraph DH(D) = (V, E) has the vertex set V and e ⊆ V is an edge of DH(D) if and only if e is a minimal dominating set of D. We investigate domination hypergraphs of special classes of digraphs, namely tournaments, paths and cycles. Finally, using a special decomposition/composition method we construct edge sets of domination hypergraphs of certain digraphs.

Let \( \gamma ( \overrightarrow{C_m} \square \overrightarrow{C_n} ) \) be the domination number of the Cartesian product of directed cycles \( \overrightarrow{C_m} \) and \( \overrightarrow{C_n} \) for $m, n \ge 2 $. Shaheen [13] and Liu et al. ([11], [12]) determined the value of \( \gamma ( \overrightarrow{C_m} \square \overrightarrow{C_n} ) \) when $ m \le 6 $ and [12] when both $m$ and $ n \equiv 0 (\mod 3) $. In this article we give, in general, the value of \( \gamma ( \overrightarrow{C_m} \square \overrightarrow{C_n} ) \) when $ m \equiv 2(\mod 3) $ and improve the known lower bounds for most of the remaining cases. We also disprove the conjectured formula for the case $ m \equiv 0 ( \mod 3) $ appearing in [12].

In this note, we show how the determinant of the q-distance matrix Dq(T) of a weighted directed graph G can be expressed in terms of the corresponding determinants for the blocks of G, and thus generalize the results obtained by Graham et al. [R.L. Graham, A.J. Hoffman and H. Hosoya, On the distance matrix of a directed graph, J. Graph Theory 1 (1977) 85-88]. Further, by means of the result, we determine the determinant of the q-distance matrix of the graph obtained from a connected weighted graph G by adding the weighted branches to G, and so generalize in part the results obtained by Bapat et al. [R.B. Bapat, S. Kirkland and M. Neumann, On distance matrices and Laplacians, Linear Algebra Appl. 401 (2005) 193- 209]. In particular, as a consequence, determinantal formulae of q-distance matrices for unicyclic graphs and one class of bicyclic graphs are presented.

Opis:
W artykule przedstawiono algorytm umożliwiający znalezienie najkrótszej ścieżki w grafie skierowanym. Do opisu krawędzi grafów zaproponowano użycie wyrażeń lingwistycznych. Do obliczeń zaproponowano wykorzystanie prostej defuzyfikacji wartości rozmytych do wartości ostrych. Pokazano, że taka metoda w przypadku znajdowania najkrótszej ze ścieżek może znaleźć zastosowanie.
The paper presents an algorithm that allows finding the shortest path in a directed graph. To describe the edges of the graph proposed to use linguistic values. For the calculation proposed to use a simple defuzzification to the sharp values. It has been shown that this technique for finding the shortest path can be used.

The growth function of a graph with respect to a vertex is near polynomial if there exists a polynomial bounding it above for infinitely many positive integers. Let $ D = (V,A) $ be a finite simple directed graph (shortly, digraph). A function $ f : V \rightarrow {−1, 0, 1} $ is called a twin minus total dominating function (TMTDF) if $ f(N^−(v)) \ge 1 $ and $ f(N^+(v)) \ge 1 $ for each vertex $ v \in V $. The twin minus total domination number of $D$ is $\gamma_{mt}^\ast (D) = \text{min} \{ w(f) | f $ is a TMTDF of $ D \} $. In this paper, we initiate the study of twin minus total domination numbers in digraphs and we present some lower bounds for $ \gamma_{mt}^\ast (D) $ in terms of the order, size and maximum and minimum in-degrees and out-degrees. In addition, we determine the twin minus total domination numbers of some classes of digraphs.

The concept of a line digraph is generalized to that of a directed path graph. The directed path graph Pₖ(D) of a digraph D is obtained by representing the directed paths on k vertices of D by vertices. Two vertices are joined by an arc whenever the corresponding directed paths in D form a directed path on k+1 vertices or form a directed cycle on k vertices in D. In this introductory paper several properties of P₃(D) are studied, in particular with respect to isomorphism and traversability. In our main results, we characterize all digraphs D with P₃(D) ≅ D, we show that P₃(D₁) ≅ P₃(D₂) "almost always" implies D₁ ≅ D₂, and we characterize all digraphs with Eulerian or Hamiltonian P₃-graphs.

Opis:
The paper studies the possibilities to design a fair manifold tariff on a long traffic line. If a single tariff is used on a long bus or railway line, passengers travelling long distances are favoured at the expense of those travelling short distances. The fairest approach to tariff is setting an individual tariff for every origin–destination relation of line stops that expresses real travel costs. However, sometimes the individual tariff is too complicated and is therefore replaced by double-, triple- or manifold tariff. This paper shows how to design a manifold tariff in order to minimize unfairness to passengers.

The control flow of programs can be represented by directed graphs. In this paper we provide a uniform and detailed formal basis for control flow graphs combining known definitions and results with new aspects. Two graph reductions are defined using only syntactical information about the graphs, but no semantical information about the represented programs. We prove some properties of reduced graphs and also about the paths in reduced graphs. Based on graphs, we define statement coverage and branch coverage such that coverage notions correspond to node coverage, and edge coverage, respectively.
