In the article the issue of process structures in the autobiography of Alice Salomon and a relation between biographical and collective trajectory. Besides the introductory information on the pioneer of social work in Germany herself and her international career in organizations of women's movement in the article the analysis of process structures in her autobiography is presented together with theoretical inspirations, methodological remarks and data on the text. In contrast to the analysis of autobiographical utterances of Rudolph Hoess enclosed in three articles by M.Czyzewski and A.Rokuszewska-Pawelek, which to some extent constituted the pattern of construction of the plot, the analysis of Alice Salomon autobiography allows to notice the situation when the collective trajectory does not absorb individuals but makes them build their own identity by means of biographical projects despite experiencing suffering associated with the collective trajectory. By the comparison of R.Hoess and A.Salomon autobiographies an attempt was made to emphasize the complexity of the German nation's fate of the Nazi period.

This paper introduces a new algorithm of trajectory reproduction and trajectory tracking for nonholonomic systems. The endogenous configuration space approach is employed as a guideline in the algorithm derivation. The derivation uses a trajectory reproduction error, which is an integral of the difference between the resultant trajectory and the desired trajectory over the motion horizon. Such a definition of the error allows to solve both the trajectory reproduction as well as the trajectory tracking problem. Considerable attention in the paper has been paid to the implementation aspects of the algorithm. The nonparametric approach is used together with a higher order of the integration method. The algorithm efficiency is illustrated with computer simulations accomplished for two nonholonomic systems: the dynamics of the double pendulum with a passive joint, and the kinematics of the unicycle.

The first mechanical construction of swivel walker is from year 1963 and it was aimed for support movement of people with disabilities. This solution was very difficult and it was main reason for purpose of electromotoric module, which facilitates movement and reduce effort of people with disabilities. Therefore further research in this area are still provided. In this paper trajectory of swivel walker with electromotoric modules is described. To analyze the tilt and trajectory structure of the walker SolidWorks software was implemented.

The development of directional drilling made designers work out numerous measurement devices for spatial location of the borehole axis. The borehole trajectory can be determined on the basis of very accurate calculation methods. The authors present a brief characteristic of devices for measuring dogleg angle and azimuths as well as methods for calculating the spatial placement of borehole axis, i.e.: – average angle method, – tangential method, modified to balanced tangential method, – radius of curvature method (RCM), – minimum curvature method. Calculations and graphical representations of deviations obtain ed with these four methods were performed for three selected trajectories of borehole axes (2D), increase/decrease of dogleg angle and 3D, increase/decrease of dogleg angle and azimuth with the use of COMPASS software (part of Halliburton Landmark package).

This paper contributes to a modified guidance scheme based on a trajectory tracking method which is dedicated for an artillery rocket with a finite set of single use solid propellant side thrusters. Frequency modulation of pulses was used to achieve effective firing logic. The proposed control law is applicable in the last phase of flight when the rocket reaches the vertex of the trajectory. A correction engine activation sequence was chosen in such a way that possibility of rocket axial unbalance is minimized due to motors firing. Numerical simulation results indicate that significant dispersion reduction was achieved and the number of activated side rocket thrusters is minimized.

Since Polish migrants began entering the UK labour market in the post-accession period, there has been a significant amount of case study research focusing on the impact of this large migrant group on the UK economy. However, ten years after enlargement, there is still insufficient information regarding the labour market mobility of Polish migrants residing in the UK for the longer term. The available research on this topic is largely concentrated in urban settings such as London or Birmingham, and does not necessarily capture the same patterns of labour market mobility as in non-urban settings. Using qualitative data collected in three case study locations – urban, semi-urban and rural – in the South Wales region from 2008–2012, this article has two main aims. First, given the proximity of the case study locations, the article highlights the diversity of the Polish migrant characteristics through the samples used. Second, using trajectories created from the data, this article compares the variations among the labour market movements of the Polish migrants in each sample to determine what characteristics influence labour market ascent. Through this comparative trajectory analysis, the findings from this article point to the relative English language competency of migrants as the primary catalyst for progression in the Welsh labour market across all three case study regions. The secondary catalyst, which is intertwined with the first, is the composition of the migrants’ social networks, which enable, or in some cases disable, labour market progression. These findings have significant implications in the national and in the supranational policy sphere regarding the employment of migrants as well as their potential for cultural integration in the future.

The paper describes six methods of optimal and game theory and artificial neural network for synthesis of safe control in collision situations at sea. The application of optimal and game control algorithms to determine the own ship safe trajectory during the passing of other encountered ships in good and restricted visibility at sea is presented. The comparison of the safe ship control in collision situation: multi-step matrix non-cooperative and cooperative games, multi-stage positional non-cooperative and cooperative games have been introduced. The considerations have been illustrated with examples of computer simulation of the algorithms to determine safe of own ship trajectories in a navigational situation during passing of eight met ships.

The paper is concerned with the problem of safe trajectory planning for approaching during emergency STS (Ship to Ship) transfer operation with oil spill. The safe trajectory means that the way points does not cross in the area of the environment with the static and dynamic obstacles and at the same time satisfies ship's stopping and speed deceleration performance. The evolutionary path planning algorithm is used to determine trajectory designed as way points and straight line segments between them. The way points - ship positions and velocity can be treated as reference value to support navigator in decision making during Approach Manoeuvre and to mitigate the risk of collision which mostly results from exceed velocity of approaching. The task of trajectory planning is defined as constant optimization process to minimize trajectory length, course alteration and maximize safety in a navigational environment. This paper examines exemplary navigational scenario based on emergency STS accident.

The paper presents results of a ship's safe trajectory planning method verification - the Trajectory Base Algorithm, which is a deterministic approach for real-time path-planning with collision avoidance. The paper presents results of the algorithm’s verification from different ships’ perspectives and with changing strategies of target ships. Results prove the applicability of the algorithm in the Collision Avoidance Module of the Autonomous Navigation System for Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships.

It is worth looking at chronic illness with its pain, suffering and increasing limitations from the perspective of time. By time we mean subjective time relating to the perception and dynamics of the malady in the patient’s impressions and the role which time plays in the structuring of the patient’s life and experience. The main focus of this article is the experience of progressive kidney failure (uraemia), a condition which requires regular dialysis or kidney transplantation. Due to its specific crises, hopes and periods of waiting, painstaking medical procedures lasting many hours and turning points in the disease’s trajectory, time and its passage are a particularly adequate instrument with which to analyse the experiences of patients with uraemia. These experiences are discussed against the backdrop of selected elements of health care and attitudes towards transplantation which provide the social context for patients’ struggle with illness.

The author has applied the laser sheet technique to acquire velocity fields and mass flows at the outlet of nozzle system, used for introducing limestone particles into a power boiler for a desulfurization process. This brings an effect in the form of multiexposure pictures, called specklegrams, which record single particle trajectories or their agglomerates in selected areas of the flow. On the basis of this the parameters of velocity field can be estimated. The author proposes a new approach to quantitative analysis of the specklegrams. It enables one to combine correlation processing with scanline particle tracking.
Zastosowanie techniki noża świetlnego w analizie trójwymiarowych pól prędkości ziaren. Autor zastosował technikę noża świetlnego do rejestracji pól prędkości i przepływów masowych przy wylocie dyszy służącej do wprowadzania sorbentu wapniowego do kotła energetycznego w procesie odsiarczania spalin. Efektem są wieloekspozycyjne obrazy zwane speklogramami, rejestrujące pojedyńcze tory cząstek lub ich aglomeratów w wybranych strefach przepływu. Na tej podstawie oszacować można parametry pola prędkości. Analiza jakościowa speklogramów może zostać przeprowadzona za pomocą zaproponowanego przez autra algorytmu, będącego połączeniem tradycyjnychmetod korelacyjnych oraz techniki obrotowej linii skanującej.

One of the ways to reduce the adverse impact of aircraft on the environment is through the determination of the trajectory of the flight on a given route that leads to reducing fuel consumption and, consequently, emission of pollutants in jet engines exhausts. Planning a flight in terms of minimizing emissions or fuel consumption is a complex task and difficult to implement due to the conditions in which the aircraft travels, but it is possible though. It is necessary to take into account the limitations resulting from the organization of the airspace and the rules therein, as well as the current weather conditions. The weather is one of the main factors determining the amount of fuel consumed, the time and cost of a particular flight on a given route. In addition to the main parameters, such as pressure and air density, it is extremely important to determine the air temperature, as well as the wind speed and direction. The temperature affects the speed of sound, based on which it is possible to determine the Mach number for a plane flying with a given true air speed (TAS). The speed and direction of wind, on the other hand, affect the speed of the aircraft relative to the ground (velocity over ground, VOG), and thus the duration of its flight. The article describes how the developed model of emission of pollutants in the exhausts of jet bypass engines can be useful for determining the trajectory of an aircraft in its cruise phase due to the criterion of pollutants emissions minimization. An exemplary analysis was carried out for selected aircraft moving along the route adopted for the research. The analysis covered various cruising altitudes and various meteorological conditions (wind speed and direction). The obtained results are illustrated graphically and discussed.

Very high air traffic density in the largest airports and in their vicinity involves that the air traffic in the largest airports and their areas of operations approaches the capacity limits. Such high density of the air traffic adversely influences the natural environment in the vicinity of the airports due to the increasing cumulative noise level and the concentration of environmentally hazardous substances. One of the possibilities to improve the situation is to work out innovative solutions aimed at decreasing the aircraft pollution and improving the transport effectiveness. One of the major concepts is using magnetic levitation (MAGLEV) technology to support aircraft take-off and landing. If the aircraft could take-off and start the initial climb phase with the ground power, the installed power may be reduced, resulting in less weight, less drag and less overall fuel consumption which leads to emission reduction. These advantages, the lower fuel consumption and emissions, increase sustainability of the transportation system. Different conditions of the take-off give possibilities to shape the trajectory after the take-off in order to decrease the negative influence on the environment. The aim of the present work was to determine the optimal conditions of the take-off and the optimal climb trajectory of the aircraft aided in the ground phase of the take-off by the system using the MAGLEV technology, minimizing the fuel consumption. The simplified algorithm of optimization of the flight trajectory was used in this work; it uses the method of approximation of the flight path by the third degree polynomial.

The aim of the research was to characterize the situation of intellectually disabled individuals and their families, with special stress on parents’ doubts and dilemmas which grow as their disabled children mature and enter adulthood. The subject of the study was to analyze the processual character of transformations related to bringing up children with intellectual disabilities that take place in generational families, in particular, those which are related to transformations on the level of parents’ perceptions, role, and identity. These notions were reconstructed on the basis of the personal experiences of parents of disabled children. The theoretical basis of the research was the concept of a trajectory of suffering, and the applied methodology was the grounded theory methodology.

W artykule przedstawiono przebieg średniej trajektorii niżów Vb van Bebbera w skali roku. Wyznaczono najbardziej opadotwórczy odcinek trajektorii, tzn. region występowania cyklonów, które wywołują najwyższe opady w Polsce. Skonstruowano mapę średnich sum dobowych opadu związanych z niżami Vb oraz mapę opadów maksymalnych informującą o tym, jaka była najwyższa wartość opadu w danej stacji meteorologicznej w okresie 1958‒2008 związana z wystąpieniem niżu Vb na wyróżnionym – najbardziej opadotwórczym – odcinku trajektorii. Szlak Vb rozpoczyna się na Morzu Balearskim, a kończy nad południową Finlandią. Najwyższe opady w Polsce związane są z niżami usytuowanymi w sąsiedztwie środkowego odcinka trajektorii – nad wschodnimi Węgrami, zachodnią Rumunią lub południową Słowacją. Najwyższe średnie sumy opadów można zaobserwować w Polsce Południowo-Wschodniej. Maksima występują w Kotlinie Żywieckiej, w Tatrach i na Wyżynie Lubelskiej. Maksymalny opad dobowy związany z niżem Vb wystąpił na Śnieżce i osiągnął wartość 129,2 mm.
The article presents the course of the average annual trajectory of van Bebber’s Vb cyclones. The most rainfall-efficient section of the trajectory, i.e. the occurrence region of cyclones which produce the highest precipitation in Poland, was delimited. A map of average daily precipitation totals associated with Vb lows was constructed as well as a map indicating the maximum rainfall i.e. the highest sum of daily precipitation at the weather station in the period 1958‒2008 associated with the Vb cyclones situated close to the most rainfall-efficient segment of the trajectory. Vb route begins at the Balearic Sea and ends over southern Finland. The highest rainfall in Poland is associated with lows situated in the vicinity of the middle section of the trajectory – over eastern Hungary, western Romania or southern Slovakia. The highest average amount of rainfall can be observed in south-eastern Poland, particularly in the Żywiec dale, in the Tatras, and over the Lublin Upland. Maximum daily rainfall associated with Vb cyclones occurred on Śnieżka peak and reached 129.2 mm.

The aim of this study is to prove practical applicability of a numerical simulation technique in highlights some of the features of the flight under extreme conditions. dynamics of spatial motion of an agile aircraft is considered. After a brief description of an aircraft mathematical model, the numerical analyses are presented. There have been considered various flight events (such as airdrop or aircraft accident) and manoeuvres (in particular, those performed at high angles of attack).
Numeryczne badanie dynamiki lotu samolotów o podwyższonej sterowności. Rozpatrzono dynamikę samolotu o podwyższonej sterowności. Badania prowadzono stosując symulację komputerową. Zaprezentowano wyniki dynamiki ruchu samolotu w różnych stanach lotu i manewrach.

Opis:
In this article it is offered the ways to improve the maneuverability of three-link metrobuses by choosing a rational layout scheme and design parameters of its trailer units. Considering that the movement of the metrobus is carried out on direct routes, that is, the maneuverability of the metrobus is appropriate to determine by the overall traffic lane (OTL) size. OTL equal to the difference of the radii of rotation of the points of the train, the farthest and closest to the center, that is, the difference of the overall radii of rotation - the outer (Rz = 12.5 m) and internal (Rv = 5.3 m). The methodology for calculating OTL is based on determining the angles of assembly of the road train links and the offset of the driven links trajectories relative to the trajectory of the master. Maneuverability indicators of the three-link metrobus are defined on elastic in the lateral direction wheels. Studies were performed for one-way rotation and ISO maneuvering with the obtained trajectories of links and the overall traffic lane of a metrobus with guided and unmanaged trailer links.

Opis:
A trajectory tracking problem for the three-dimensional kinematic model of a unicycle-type mobile robot is considered. It is assumed that only two of the tracking error coordinates are measurable. By means of cascaded systems theory we develop observers for each of the error coordinates and show the K-exponential convergence of the tracking error in combined closed-loop observer-controller systems. The results are illustrated with computer simulations.

The paper presents an extended version of the author’s Evolutionary Sets of Safe Ship Trajectories method. The method plans safe tracks of all ships involved in an encounter including speed reduction maneuvers, if necessary, and taking into account Rule 10 of COLREGS, which specifies ships’ behavior within Traffic Separation Schemes governed by IMO. The paper focuses on the evaluation phase of the evolutionary process and shows how fitness function is designed to compare various possible tracks as well as to assess the quality of a final solution. The impact of the fitness function on the method’s results is illustrated by examples.

The article provides information about using software for determination off tracking and trajectory movement of trucks. It describes experiment of determination of trajectory movement of trucks, using GPS system, to assess the compliance of similar models of the movement of road trains in computer-aided road design systems. Experimental study was conducted using truck KAMAZ 54115 and semi-trailer M 9397 in real road conditions. There are presented and compared results of the study of movement trajectories of road trains with results obtained of the Auto TURN software package application. As a conclusion the use of AutoTURN software package is validated for determining dynamic dimension of cars and for modelling trajectory of movement, not only for road trains, but also for all types of vehicles in the area of their design.

The aim of this paper is the analysis of adjustment processes in a Debreu-type economy. The reasons taken into account, e.g. incentives, cooperation of economic agents under full access to information, the way of sending messages described formally, are the basis for defining adjustment trajectories. Some reasons, such as introducing new legal requirements or implementing new profitable technologies formulated in mathematical language, can contribute to the transformation of the production sector and induce an appropriate way of adjusting the producers’ plans of action. This survey relies on an examination of the relationships between quantities of goods and quantities of the productive factors used to produce them. As a result, the optimal producers’ trajectories, due to the criterion of cost minimization, are defined. The paper also contains some remarks on the uniqueness of the trajectories under study.

The paper indicated the results of the vehicle motion trajectory calculations determined on the basis of the recorded waveforms of the acceleration vector and angular velocity components during the double lane change maneuver, taking into account the errors of acceleration sensors reset (zeroing). For the sake of simplicity, it was assumed that the zeroing errors apply only to the linear acceleration sensors, while the angular velocity sensors show exact values at the time t = 0 s (when starting the double lane change maneuver). During the analysis of the results of the experimental research, the vehicle kinematics model was used, in which right-handed coordinate systems were used: global and two local coordinate systems. The differences in the results of the calculations were determined and possible causes of these differences were indicated. The test results indicate that special attention should be paid to zeroing the acceleration sensors, in particular the ay component.

The paper presents results of ship's safe trajectory planning algorithms verification. Real navigational data registered from a radar with an Automatic Radar Plotting Aid on board the research and training ship Horyzont II were used as input data to the algorithms. The algorithms verified in the presented research include the Ant Colony Optimization algorithm (ACO), the Trajectory Base Algorithm (TBA), the Visibility Graph-search Algorithm (VGA) ant the Discrete Artificial Potential Field algorithm (DAPF). Details concerning data registration and exemplary results obtained with the use or real navigational data are introduced and summarized in the paper. Presented results prove the applicability of proposed algorithms for solving the ship's safe trajectory planning problem.

Opis:
Motherhood, which includes the process of becoming and being a mother, is understood as an institution or as personal experience, and both these perspectives are interdependent. The institution of motherhood, which is necessary for the functioning of societies, shapes women’s living conditions, influences their choices, frames desirable behaviours, gives the highest priority to the social role of the mother, and limits women’s identity to a single dimension. The experience of women-mothers is juxtaposed with the idea of sacrificing oneself for the good of another human being. The stories of motherhood analysed for the purpose of this article were published on the fanpage Żałuję rodzicielstwa [I regret parenthood] and clearly indicate that being a mother can be a trajectory experience associated with overpowering suffering. Women’s experiences were inscribed in the subsequent phases of a trajectory process identified by F. Schütze and G. Reimann, and the reflection on those experiences leads, among other things, to the conclusion that both mothers who have undertaken biographical work on their own experiences, as well as those who have not done so, most often organise their further life with the trajectory in the background, without fundamentally changing their personal situation.
Macierzyństwo, które obejmuje proces stawania się i bycia matką, ujmowane jest jako instytucja lub osobiste doświadczenie, a obie te perspektywy pozostają ze sobą w zależności. Instytucja macierzyństwa będąca tworem niezbędnym dla funkcjonowania społeczeństwa, kształtuje warunki życia kobiet, wpływa na ich wybory, wyznacza ramy pożądanych zachowań, nadaje najwyższą rangę roli społecznej matki i zawęża tożsamość kobiet do jednego wymiaru. Z ideą poświęcenia siebie dla dobra drugiego człowieka konfrontowane są doświadczenia kobiet-matek. Analizowane na potrzeby niniejszego tekstu historie dotyczące macierzyństwa opublikowane zostały na fanpage’u Żałuję rodzicielstwa i w jednoznaczny sposób wskazują na to, że bycie matką może być doświadczeniem trajektoryjnym, związanym ze zniewalającym cierpieniem. Przeżycia kobiet wpisane zostały w wyróżnione przez F. Schütze i G. Reimanna kolejne fazy procesu trajektoryjnego, a refleksja nad nimi prowadzi m.in. do wniosku, że zarówno matki, które podjęły biograficzną pracę nad własnymi doświadczeniami, jak i te, które tego nie zrobiły w konsekwencji i tak najczęściej organizują swoje dalsze życie z trajektorią w tle, nie zmieniając zasadniczo osobistej sytuacji.
