Norway belongs to the group of countries, where the idea of inclusive education, that is one of important UNESCO and European Commision’s directions, is nearly fulfilled. Every child, whatever their special educational needs would be, has the right to attend a local school and to get there a proper help to reach their potential. Special pedagogy should serve the mainsteream schooling, which aim is to be as selfsufficient as it is possible when it comes to adapted educational forms and methods od teaching. Special education is the last option, when general ways of solvings the problem fail. The educational reform toward integration and inclusion of pupils with special eduacational needs was neither easy nor quick, so it is worth for other countries to use norwegian experiences in this field.

In many contexts of contemporary special education, its main present and future challenges are the implementation of effective inclusive education, the preparation of the required conditions, space and relations of safe functioning of a child with disabilities or special education needs together with healthy, able-bodied peers. Are the long-standing dreams of parents and many special educators regarding the equal rights of all people with disabilities, and in particular the right to education closest to the child’s place of residence, genuinely achieved nowadays? The diagnosis of selected municipal schools shows the real situation of the implementation of inclusive education. Are these successes already being achieved today? Or is it still a educational reality?

Multidisciplinary approach and co-operation with professionals in other fields are essential points for a social worker to understand and solve properly the problem, how much human problems are hardly to categorize and in many cases appear collectively. Since the social worker holds the position of a counselor in fact in every problematic case, social counseling is his most applied professional field within counseling. Common attribute of social work and special pedagogy as auxiliary science is the role of solving problems and aiming changes in the counseling. These points will be highlighted in general and by concrete examples as well in the following text.

The main goal of this article is description of two educational discourses pertaining to differences, their acceptance and eradication or alleviation. The first is the special needs pedagogy, which has seen a dispute between the enthusiasts of institutional and social integration of the disabled with people, communities and institutions dominated by those within a given norm. The second is characteristic of the critical pedagogy and sociology – concerns people and social groups who are culturally and socially excluded and marginalised, both overtly and covertly.

The paper deals with saturation sexual needs in people with intellectual disabilities through masturbation. The authors present a partial research findings about masturbation clients in terms of professional social service workers in Slovakia, which indicate their acceptance and tolerance. With these expressions of culture through sex education and enlightenment, however, encountered only rarely. In terms of moral assessment, the author further reflect on the appropriateness or inappropriateness of the behavior. Emphasize the necessity of advising persons with intellectual disabilities themselves and professionals working with these people.

The authors present in this paper psychosexual aspects of the development of people with intellectual disabilities, with an emphasis on sexual development problems and specifics of their puberty, they see the effects of gender and psychosocial factors amplifying the effect of the crisis on the development of young people with intellectual disabilities. Their arguments argue partial results of research sexuality clients with more severe intellectual disabilities in social care homes in Slovakia. The conclusion states that only quality and professional support helps people with intellectual disabilities to live their sex lives freely.

In this paper the authors present different perspectives and different re- search findings on what people with intellectual disabilities expect from the partnership. When assessing sexual activities with these individuals based on foreign empirical findings and present the results of Slovak research. The authors document the interest of persons with intellectual disabilities and for sexual activity sexual nature, but professional staff social service institutions in Slovakia endorse. Research findings also indicate negative feelings about parenthood and sexual rights of people with intel- lectual disabilities. Most equipment does not create conditions for the implementation of a peer sexual life and thus violated the right to freedom of sexual expression sexuality.

Niniejszy artykuł jest głosem w dyskusji nad toczącymi się zmianami w pedagogice specjalnej. Jego celem jest wykazanie potrzeby dalszego włączania schizofrenii w obszar wspomnianej nauki.W pierwszym podrozdziale autorka przybliża schizofrenię – zarys historyczny, rozpoznanie, objawy – oraz jej skutki psychospołeczne. Dodatkowo uzasadnia konieczność wszechstronnego i interdyscyplinarnego wsparcia procesu terapeutycznego. Przedstawia również podstawowe założenia psychiatrii środowiskowej.W kolejnym podrozdziale omawia teoretyczne założenia pedagogiki specjalnej – historyczny zarys, cele, subdyscypliny, podmioty, przedmiot oraz charakter podejmowanych działań. Wspomina o andragogice specjalnej oraz gerontologii specjalnej.W ostatnim podrozdziale autorka wykazuje, że schizofrenia może być rozumiana jako niepełnosprawność, zaś włączenie jej w nurt pedagogiki specjalnej nie zmieni charakteru tej dyscypliny. Przedstawia również, że aktualnie pedagodzy specjalni podczas praktyki zajmują się osobami chorującymi na schizofrenię. Autorka dodatkowo wykazuje możliwe drogi rozwoju pedagogiki specjalnej – stworzenie nowej subdyscypliny lub rozszerzenie pedagogiki terapeutycznej.
This article is a voice in the discussion about ongoing changes in special pedagogy. Its purpose is to show the need of further inclusion of schizophrenia in the area of this academic discipline.In the first subsection, the author approximates schizophrenia – historical outline, diagnosis, symptoms – and psychosocial effects of illness. In addition justifies the need of comprehensive and interdisciplinary support of the therapeutic process. Also presents the basic assumptions of community psychiatry.In the next subsection discusses the theoretical assumptions of special pedagogy – historical outline, goals, sub-discipline, subjects, subject and nature of undertaken activities. Also recall special andragogy and special gerontology.In the last subsection, it was shownthat schizophrenia can be interpreted as disability and including it into the mainstreamof special pedagogy won’t change nature of thisacademic discipline.It is also presented in the article that nowadaysspecial pedagogues in their practisedeal with people suffering from schizophrenia. In addition, the author shows possible ways how special pedagogy can develop – by creating a new subdiscipline or by extendingthe therapeutic pedagogy.

Problem badawczy przyjął postać następującego pytania: Jaki jest związek pomiędzy postawami rodzicielskimi prezentowanymi przez rodziców wychowanków (ocenianymi przez badanych) zakładów poprawczych resocjalizacyjno-rewalidacyjnych a ich planami życiowymi? Metodą wykorzystaną w badaniach był sondaż diagnostyczny. W zakresie metod analizy statystycznej posłużono się elementami statystyki opisowej oraz indukcyjnej. Do badań wykorzystano Kwestionariusz retrospektywnej oceny postaw rodzicielskich autorstwa Mieczysława Plopy oraz Kwestionariusz do badania planów życiowych młodzieży autorstwa Beaty Górnickiej. W świetle zaprezentowanych badań można stwierdzić, że istnieją zależności pomiędzy planami edukacyjno-zawodowymi, materialno-bytowymi, rodzinnymi i osobistymi oraz dotyczącymi czasu wolnego a postawami rodzicielskimi prezentowanymi przez rodziców badanych chłopców. Wyniki badań wskazują na to, że warto pracować z rodzinami wychowanków, na ile tylko jest to możliwe. Podjęcie współpracy pozwala budować więzi w relacji wychowanek – rodzic, które w wyniku wielu trudnych sytuacji zostały zerwane.
The study addresses itself to the following question: What is the connection between life plans of juvenile correctional facilities pupils and parental attitudes presented by their parents? Diagnostic survey was used as the method of this study. Elements of descriptive and inductive statistics were applied as methods of statistical analysis. The research includes Questionnaire for retrospective assessment of parental attitudes by Mieczysław Plopa and Questionnaire for studying life plans of adolescents by Beata Górnicka. In the light of the presented research it can be concluded that there is a relationship between educational and professional, material and living, family and personal plans, as well as those concerning free time, and the parental attitudes displayed by the parents of the surveyed boys. It is recommended to cooperate with pupils’ parents as far as possible. Undertaking cooperation enables to rebuild relations between parents and pupils, which were lost due to difficult situations.

Artykuł został poświęcony ukazaniu dorobku naukowo-badawczego pedagogiki specjalnej, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem okresu ostatnich 10 lat. Autorka we wprowadzeniu prezentuje dokonania Marii Grzegorzewskiej, uznanej za twórczynię polskiej pedagogiki specjalnej, a następnie zarysowuje najistotniejsze osiągnięcia badawcze naukowców-pedagogów specjalnych z przełomu wieków XX i XXI. Na tym tle został przedstawiony przegląd literatury za pomocą jednej z jego form, a mianowicie badania zakresu literatury. Poddane analizie zostały 73 monografie opracowane na podstawie prowadzonych przez autora/autorkę badań, w których w tytule, wstępie i/lub spisie treści odszukano wyrażenia: „pedagogika specjalna”, „niepełnosprawność/osoba z niepełnosprawnością” oraz „analiza wyników badań”. W przeglądzie uwzględniono podmiot(y), przedmiot(y) oraz podejście badawcze rozpoznane w wyszukanej literaturze. Uzyskane dane zostały odniesione do obszarów rozwojowo-badawczych zarysowanych przez Amadeusza Krause w artykule pt. Teoretyczne i empiryczne problemy pedagogiki specjalnej. Zarys obszarów badawczych, zamieszczonym w czasopiśmie „Niepełnosprawność. Półrocznik Naukowy” 2009 nr 1. To opracowanie przyjęte zostało jako punkt odniesienia, ponieważ zostało opublikowany 10 lat temu, a okres 2009-2019 wyznaczony został do zbadania dorobku pedagogiki specjalnej, żeby móc określić kierunki rozwoju dyscypliny, jej najistotniejsze osiągnięcia, dominujące tendencje w doborze paradygmatów badawczych oraz zarysować trendy rozwoju na kolejne lata.
The article presents the scientific and research achievements of special education, with particular emphasis on the last 10 years. In the introduction, the author presents the achievements of Maria Grzegorzewska, recognized as the founder of Polish special pedagogy, and then outlines the most important research achievements of scientists - special educators from the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. Against this background, a review of the literature was presented using one of its forms, namely the study of the scope of literature. 73 monographs developed on the basis of research conducted by the author / author, in which the title, introduction and / or table of contents searched for "special education", "disability / person with disability" and "analysis of research results". The review includes subject(s), object(s) and research approach identified in the found literature. The obtained data were referred to research and development areas outlined by Amadeusz Krause in the article entitled Theoretical and empirical problems of special pedagogy. An outline of the research areas, published in the magazine "Disability. Scientific Half-Yearly " 2009 No. 1. This study was adopted as a reference because it was published 10 years ago, and the period 2009-2019 was designated to examine the contemporary achievements of special pedagogy in order to be able to determine the directions of development of the discipline, its most important achievements, dominant tendencies in the selection of research paradigms and outline development trends for the coming years.
