Artykuł omawia sposób przedstawiania i opisywania Chin w dziełach Borisa Pilniaka. Autor stawia tezę, iż twórczość fikcyjna i dzienniki podróżne Pilniaka reprezentują dwa podejścia w literackiej reprezentacji Chin: wyobrażone [imaginary] i dokumentarne [documentary]. Elementem łączącym owe podejścia jest fundamentalna dla pisarza wizja eurazjatycka, którą z jednej strony można postrzegać jako dziedzictwo uniwersalistycznej postawy rosyjskiej tradycji modernistycznej, a z drugiej jako odpowiedź na kryzys tożsamości narodowej, który wyrasta z ówczesnych realiów geopolitycznych. Wyobrażenia Pilniaka na temat Chin miały charakter produktu ubocznego wyobraźni poetyckiej w dziełach napisanych przed 1922 rokiem. Tam kontynuowany był palimpsestowy proces wpisywania mitu chińskiego w rosyjskie środowisko literackie, co przekładało się na utrwalenie pojęciowej internalizacji „Chin” w kształtującej się po swojemu Rosji. Przykładem jest obraz „Kitaj-gorodu” w powieści Nagi rok, który generował różne symboliczne znaczenia Chin. Od roku 1922 wariacje narracyjnej scenerii w prozie Pilniaka odzwierciedlały wpływ ówczesnych wydarzeń na obsesyjne myśli autora dotyczące historycznego związku Rosji i Azji. Wielkie znaczenie dla Pilniaka miała jego wyprawa do Chin w 1926 roku, której rezultatem jest Kitajskij dniewnik (Dziennik chiński). Państwo chińskie staje się tam punktem odniesienia rosyjskiej autorefleksji, socjopolitycznych i ideologicznych wahań. Łącząc wyobrażenie historii z komentarzem na temat rzeczywistości, Pilniak, w różnych sposobach przedstawiania Chin, pragnął zobrazować zmieniającą się tożsamość Rosji, zarówno z jej mitologizowanej przeszłości, jak z i uwydatnionej teraźniejszości.
This paper discusses the imagination and description of China in the works of Boris Pilnyak. It proposes that Pilnyak’s fictions and travelogues demonstrate two approaches to the literary representation of China: the imaginary and the documentary. What unifies these two approaches is the underlying Eurasianist vision of the author, which may be seen as a heritage of the universalist stance of Russian modernist tradition, on the one hand, and as a response to the national identity crisis that arose from the contemporary geopolitical circumstances on the other. The imagery of China served largely as a product of poetic imagination in Pilnyak’s works written before 1922, where it continued the palimpsestic inscription of the myth of China in the Russian literary milieu, perpetuating the conceptual internalization of “China” in the self–fashioning of Russia. An example of this is the image of “Kitai–gorod” in his novel The Naked Year, which generated different symbolic meanings of China. From 1922 on, the variations of narrative settings in Pilnyak’s prose reflected the impact of contemporary events in China on his ruminations on the historical relationship of Russia and Asia. Of seminal significance was his excursion to China in 1926, the product of which became The Chinese Diary, in which China figured as a point of reference for Russia in its self–reflection on socio–political and ideological fluctuations. Combining imagination of history and commentary on reality, Pilnyak’s various conceptions of China served to illuminate the shifting identity of Russia from both the mythologized past and the highlighted present.

The sodium fatty acids were firstly prepared by fatty acids with different iodine values which were from surfactant extraction using soybean oil fatty acid as raw material in this study. Effects of iodine value of sodium fatty acids on the flotation of collophanite were then investigated by flotation tests, contact angle measurements, adsorption tests, Krafft point measurements, foaming ability tests, and the resistance to the hard water measurements. Results show that the final flotation recovery was directly proportional to the iodine value of sodium fatty acid. Sodium fatty acid with higher iodine value has higher solubility and dispersity in the solutions, and stronger foaming ability and resistance to hard water. After interacting with collophanite, sodium fatty acid with higher iodine value made the mineral more hydrophobic, thus contributing to better flotation performances.

This paper examines the 1/3rd subharmonic resonance and the 3rd superharmonic resonance of simply-supported shape memory alloy (SMA) laminated beams. First, the dynamic equation for SMA laminated beams under transverse load is established using physical equations, force equilibrium conditions, the compatibility equation of deformation, and a constitutive model of SMA polynomial functions. Then, a differential equation for transverse vibration of the SMA laminated beams is derived by the Galerkin process assuming the boundary conditions for simply-supported beams. Next, the amplitude-frequency response equations for the 1/3rd subharmonic resonance and the 3rd superharmonic resonance of these beams are derived by an averaging method before their respective transition sets are calculated, and their amplitude-frequency response diagrams were plotted using singularity theory. The results show two different types of amplitude-frequency responses to nonlinear vibration under the 1/3rd subharmonic resonance and the 3rd superharmonic resonance: quasi-linear and hard characteristic. In the quasi-linear area, SMA thickness A does not make much difference to the response of the system, whereas in the hard-characteristics area, under the same excitation amplitude f, the resonance frequency increases with A. In the nonlinear area, SMA can obviously reduce vibration amplitude, but it is not obvious for the 1/3rd subharmonic resonance. The nonlinear solution of both the 1/3rd subharmonic resonance and 3rd superharmonic resonance are stable.

Tensile tests of 8009Al alloy reinforced with SiC and Al₂O₃ particles fabricated by powder metallurgy (PM) were conducted at temperatures of 250–350°C and strain rates of 0.001–0.1 s⁻¹. The ultimate tensile strength and yield strength of the samples decreased while the temperature and strain rate increased. The elongation slightly decreased at first and then increased with growing temperature because of the medium-temperature brittleness of the alloy matrix. When the strain rate was 0.1 s⁻¹, the elongation of the 8009Al/Al₂O₃ composites always decreased with an increase in temperature because of the poorly coordinated deformation and weak bonding between the matrix and Al₂O₃ particles at such a high strain rate. The work-hardening rates of the composites sharply increased to maxima and then decreased rapidly as the strain increased. Meanwhile, the 8009Al/SiCₚ composites displayed superior UTS, YS, elongation, and work-hardening rates than those of the 8009Al/Al₂O₃ composites under the same conditions. Compared to 8009Al alloys reinforced with spherical Al₂O₃ particle, 8009Al alloys reinforced with irregular SiC particles exhibited a better strengthening effect. The fracture mechanism of the 8009Al/SiCₚ composites was mainly ductile, while that of the 8009Al/Al₂O₃ composites was primarily debonding at the matrix–particle interfaces in a brittle mode.

Adenylation domain (A domain) is a model of non-ribosomal peptide synthetases (NRPs), responsible for binding and activating the substrates-amino acids. In this study, a pGEX-2T-sare0718 recombinant plasmid (the gene sare0718 was cloned from Salinispora arenicola CNS-205, S.arenicola CNS-205) was transformed and expressed as a protein GST-Sare0718. Fluorescence quenching (FQ) was conducted to investigate the binding of 20 common amino acids to GST-Sare0718, then isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) also be used[changed]. The results of FQ revealed that intrinsic fluorescence of GST-Sare0718 is quenched steadily by addition of aspartic acid (Asp) and glutamine (Gln) through static quenching mechanism. The binding constants Ka are Asp (1.504×106 L/mol) ≥ Gln (1.468×105 L/mol). And there is one binding site on the protein GST-Sare0718. We confirmed Asp preference of GST-Sare0718 by ITC. Therefore, Asp is the specific substrate. In addition, the experimental data indicates that the prediction system, “the specificity-conferring code”, is not suitable for marine actinomycetes. So it is urgent to set up a special predictive system for marine actinomycetes.

Objectives: To investigate the association between polymorphisms in the p53 pathway genes and chromosomal damage in vinyl chloride (VC)-exposed workers. Materials and Methods: Cytokinesis block micronucleus test was performed in 310 VC-exposed workers and 149 non-exposed workers to determine chromosomal damage. The polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism technique were used to detect six SNPs in the p53 pathway genes involved in the cell cycle. Results: There was a highly significant dose-response relationship between VC exposure and chromosomal damage. Individuals carrying the variant genotypes were at higher risk for chromosomal damage compared with their wild type genotype: p53rs1042522, MDM2 Del1518rs3730485, MDM2rs2279744 and GADD45Ars532446. On the other hand, individuals possessing the variant genotype of CDKN2A rs3088440 had significantly decreased risk compared with the corresponding wild-type. Conclusions: Genetic polymorphisms in P53 pathway genes may have an impact on VC-induced chromosomal damage.

For a connected graph G, the total monochromatic connection number, denoted by tmc(G), is defined as the maximum number of colors used in a TMC-coloring of G. Opis:
A two-stage linkage safety valve for hydraulic support is presented. Considering the hydraulic support is impacted, dynamic simulation of the column circuit with the two-stage safety valve subject impact loading was carried out, and the dynamic characteristics of the two- -stage safety valve with different impact forms were studied. A rapid impact loading test rig was built to test the two-stage safety valve sample under impact loading. Simulation and experimental results indicate that the two-stage safety valve has high sensitivity and good unloading performance, it can realize fast and large flow unloading of the hydraulic support under different impact forms and pressures.

Opis:
A nanoslotted microring resonator (NSMR) with enhanced light-matter interaction has been designed, which can be used for high sensitive refractive index sensing. The performance of the device is investigated theoretically based on a three-dimensional finite-difference time-domain (3D-FDTD) method. In order to achieve high figure of merit sensing, the nanoslot geometry is exploited to make the optical field strongly localized inside the low index region and overlap sufficiently with the analytes. By using the 3D-FDTD method, the proposed NSMR sensor device achieves a high Q-factor (Q > 105) and sensitivity ~100 nm/RIU (RIU – refractive index unit). Moreover, the strong light confinement introduced by the nanoslot in NSMR results in the sensor figure of merit as high as 6.73 × 103. Thus, the design we proposed is a promising platform for refractive index-based biochemical sensing and lab-on-a-chip applications.

Objectives Objectives: Cigarette smoking is the major risk factor of bladder cancer via exposure to chemical carcinogens. Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP+): quinine oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1) and sulfotransferase 1A1 (SULT1A1) have been reported to involve in the metabolism of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and aromatic amines. Therefore, the risk of bladder cancer (BC) may be influenced by polymorphisms in the genes that modulate metabolic detoxification in particular by interacting with cigarette smoking. Considering the limited power by the individual studies with a relatively small sample size, especially when analyzing the combined effect of polymorphisms in NQO1 and SULT1A1 genes and smoking, these 2 meta-analyses have aimed to clarify the combined effects of them on BC risk by integrating related studies. Material and Methods Two meta-analyses included 1341 cases and 1346 controls concerning NQO1 Pro187Ser and smoking, and 1921 cases and 1882 controls on SULT1A1 Arg213His and smoking were performed. Odds ratios (OR) and 95% confidence intervals (CI) were used for assessing the strength of the association. Results The result has demonstrated that smokers with NQO1 Pro/Ser or Ser/Ser genotypes have a prominent association with the risk of BC as compared with non-smokers with NQO1 Pro/Pro genotype, with OR equal to 3.71 (95% CI: 2.87–4.78, $ \text{p}_\text{heterogeneity} $ = 0.376). Besides, smokers carrying SULT1A1 Arg/Arg genotypes were observed to confer 2.38 fold increased risk of BC (95% CI: 1.44–3.93, $ \text{p}_\text{heterogeneity} $ = 0.001) when compared with non-smokers with SULT1A1 Arg/Arg or His/His genotypes. Conclusions These findings have suggested that the NQO1 Pro187Ser or SULT1A1 Arg213His polymorphism combination with smoking significantly confer susceptibility to BC. Nowadays, there are many watermarking algorithms based on wavelet transform. The simple one is to insert directly the watermark into the wavelet transform coefficients. However, most of the existing watermarking schemes can only resist traditional signal processing attacks, such as image compression, noise and filtering. When the watermarked image is subject to geometric transformations, especially rotation attack, it is hard to detect the watermark successfully. In this paper, a digital watermarking algorithm is proposed based on 4-level discrete wavelet transform and discrete fractional angular transform. To enhance the security of the algorithm, the watermark is scrambled with the simplicity of Arnold transform and chaos-based mix optical bistability model, since the chaos is pseudorandom and sensitive to the initial values. And the watermark is embedded into the medium frequency sub-band of the 1-level wavelet decomposition according to the Harris feature point detection. Simulation results show that the proposed digital watermarking algorithm by combining 4-level discrete wavelet transform with discrete fractional angular transform could resist rotation attack and other common attacks.

Constrained by the micro-space structure, it is proposed to use platinum wire incandescent ignition combustion mode to achieve the operation of internal combustion engine. However, the combustion test of the platinum wire incandescent ignition in miniature piston internal combustion engine shows: the combustion mode of micro-space platinum wire incandescent ignition has a poor combustion characteristic, low heat release rate, long combustion duration, and low combustion pressure. Therefore, a homogenous charge compression ignition mode is proposed to realize the operation of miniature internal combustion engine. However, it is found that the compression combustion cannot be come true in the cold start-up state of the micro engine. And the compression combustion in the first cycle was realized by the way of increasing the temperature of the cylinder block and platinum wire appropriately. The results show that: The maximum heat release rate is obviously improved and the combustion duration shortened by 28.6ºCA, and pmi increased by 76%. So, a novel hybrid combustion mode of in-cylinder compression combustion supported by the platinum wire incandescent ignition is put forward, through the way of adjusting the temperature of platinum wire, and this combustion mode is regarded as the ideal combustion mode of micro reciprocating piston internal combustion engine.

In view of the disadvantages of the existing electrostatic separation process of decommissioned photovoltaic modules, which can only achieve the separation of fine silicon wafers and glass and has high energy consumption, a new process to solve the efficient dry separation of coarse silicon wafers and glass in decommissioned photovoltaic modules is proposed- the vibration separation method. Based on the theoretical analysis of the vibration separation of flaky silicon wafer and polyhedral glass particles, the effects of feed size, feed amount, vibration voltage, vibration frequency, horizontal inclination angle and longitudinal inclination angle on the product indexes of wafer and glass separation were investigated by single factor experiment. The optimal experimental conditions were obtained as follows: feed particle size +0.83mm, feed amount 0.15 t/h, vibration voltage 190 V, vibration frequency 48 Hz, horizontal inclination Angle 8°, longitudinal inclination Angle 3°. Under this optimized condition, the content of metal Si in the obtained silicon wafer product is 84.47%, the recovery rate of is 83.73%, the content of impurity SiO2 is 1.09%, and the content of SiO2 in the obtained glass product is 65.69%, and the recovery rate is 98.95%, the impurity metal Si content is 0.56%. This study provides a research idea for the industrial separation of silicon wafers and glass from decommissioned photovoltaic modules.

The arc suppression coil determines whether it can effectively extinguish the arc when it is grounded in the neutral non-effective grounding system. An artificial grounding test is an importantway to verify its performance. In this study, 13 substations with the 10 kV system in the Ningxia areawere selected and considered. Based on the artificial single-phase grounding test, the residual current, the compensation current and the off-resonance degree were measured in the arc suppression coil, and the performance of the arc suppression coil in the 10 kV system was verified. The experimental results show that the error of arc suppression coil automatic measurement is large, the off-resonance degree is large, the resistive component in the compensation current is excessive, the harmonic component exists in the compensating current and capacitive current. To solve these problems, this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures for reference.

Opis:
A new extraction process suitable for treating refractory CuCo2S4 under atmospheric pressure acidic leaching conditions was investigated. The effect of variables such as oxidant species, liquid-to-solid ratio, leaching time, oxidizing agent and mineral quality ratio, H2SO4 concentration, temperature and sodium chloride concentration on the extraction efficiency of Co, Cu and Fe from CuCo2S4 were investigated. Under optimal conditions including P80-P90 of the sample was d < 0.0074 mm, stirring speed of 400 rpm, leaching time of 8 h with sodium chlorate (NaClO3) and mineral quality ratio of 0.5, 2 mol/L H2SO4, liquid-to-solid ratio of 7, leaching temperature of 90°C and 4 mol/L sodium chloride. The leaching efficiency of Co, Cu, and Fe were nearly 97.08%, 100%, and 92.45%, respectively. Furthermore, the contents of cobalt and copper in leaching residue were all less than 0.4 wt.%, which satisfies the requirements of industrial production.

Synthesized dihydroxylammonium 5,5’-bistetrazole-1,1’-diolate (TKX-50) owes its outstanding application prospects in the field of insensitive solid propellants not only to its high energetic performance but also to its low mechanical sensitivity. Based on the excellent catalytic activity of bimetallic iron oxides for the thermal decomposition of TKX-50, the catalytic mechanism of bimetallic iron oxides (NiFe2O4, ZnFe2O4 and CoFe2O4) for TKX-50 pyrolysis has been explored. For this study, the decomposition process of TKX-50, before and after mixing with the bimetallic iron oxides NiFe2O4, ZnFe2O4 and CoFe2O4 was monitored by in-situ FTIR and gas-phase MS-FTIR instruments. Of the different catalysts, ZnFe2O4 gave the best result for reducing the initial decomposition temperature of TKX-50. Additionally, the activation energy of functional group cleavage of TKX-50, before and after mixing with ZnFe2O4, was also calculated for mechanism analysis from the results of the in-situ FTIR measurements. The results showed that the condensate and the gas-phase decomposition products of TKX-50 remained unchanged after mixing with different catalysts, while the activation energy of tetrazole ring cleavage was significantly reduced. The results of this study will be helpful for the rational design of insensitive solid propellant formulations containing TKX-50, and for understanding the pyrolysis mechanisms of TKX-50 before and after mixing with the efficient catalyst ZnFe2O4.

Accurate morphological parameters are key to understand the process and mechanism of gully erosion, but little information exists regarding the accuracy of gully volume influenced by sampling spacing. In order to assess the influence of sampling spacing on volume of medium gully under the condition of different shapes of gully cross-sections, as well as to provide information for proposed surveys, a MultiStation was utilized to obtain the point cloud of a Uand V-shaped gully. The coordinates were subsequently rarefied to a certain sampling spacing, and the gully volumes of three modes (Mode 1 only including rarefied terrain points; Mode 2 including detailed terrain and rarefied terrain points; Mode 3 including the rarefied detailed terrain points and terrain points with a given sampling spacing) were calculated in ArcGIS. The results showed that the error of gully volume increased non-monotonously with sampling spacing increased, and that the detail points had greater influence on the gully volume of a U-shaped than a V-shaped gully. As to Mode 1 and 2, the relative error (RE) of U-shaped gully volume increased faster with sampling spacing increasing, and presented high positive correlation. However, in the case of a V-shaped gully, a middle positive correlation for Mode 1 can be observed, and the RE was below 3% for Mode 2. For Mode 3, an increase in the sampling spacing of the terrain led to the larger RE, average RE, and variance of absolute error. If extremely high accuracy (2.5% of RE) is required, sampling spacing is less than 0.5 m; if high accuracy (5% of RE) is set, the sampling spacing of terrain points is below 0.8 m for a U-shaped gully, while the corresponding sampling spacing of terrain points and detail points are 2.0 m and 1.85 m, 3.0 m and 1.80 m, and 4.0 m and 0.75 m for a V-shaped gully. The shape of the gully’s cross-section, as well as the exact location of the shoulder line will affect the accuracy of the gully’s volume. This study will increase the efficiency of detail survey in the field for medium gully.

Maintaining clean and pristine nature is the key to the use of super clean coal (SCC) for coal-based materials or energy combustion. Herein, SCC is prepared by a new water-only cyclone method, and compared the surface characteristics with the SCC products obtained by conventional chemical deashing method. The results indicate that: FTIR analysis revealed that the chemical method changed the original functional group of coal; BET analysis revealed that the SCC products prepared by the water-only method maintained the micropore volume of the raw coal and yielded a uniform and concentrated distribution of pore sizes, however, the chemical method destroying the original pore structure in the coal; SEM-EDS analysis indicated that the surface of SCC particles that were deashed using the water-only cyclone method was smooth and neat, whereas those obtained using the chemical method were seriously corroded, had a rough surface, and the SCC particles were prone to acid residues and precipitates. This study opens an innovative, simple, and clean method for the preparation of SCC, which further expands and enhances the potential application value of SCC.

Aiming at the problem of “entrainment fine particles in underflow” of hydrocyclone in grinding and classification process, a hydrocyclone with spiral vanes (the SV hydrocyclone) was proposed. The CFD techniques were used to study the pressure field, velocity field, turbulence field, particle field and classification efficiency of hydrocyclones with spiral vanes of different widths. The results show that the pressure drop, axial velocity, tangential velocity, turbulence intensity of SV hydrocyclone are reduced in different degrees compared with conventional hydrocyclone, and the reduction becomes more obvious with the increase of vane width. In the case of a vane width of 0.04D, the underflow recovery rate of 5μm and 10μm fine particles was reduced by 16.2% and 15.7%. The selection of spiral vanes with small widths is beneficial to improve the separation accuracy of fine particles and reduce the cut particle size.

Opis:
The light-emitting diode (LED) is an essential component of intelligent street lighting (ISL) systems. An efficient ISL system can not only reduce power consumption by planning LED illuminating time but also reduce maintenance costs through a high degree of automation. In this paper, a buck-boost converter is used to realise composite transmission of power and signals for an ISL system. The power is modulated by the pulse width modulation (PWM) approach, and the switching ripple generated in the PWM process is utilised as the carrier of the signals transmitted between the remote-control centre and the slave nodes. Moreover, the proposed model involves a ‘request to send (RTS)/confirm to send (CTS)’ mechanism to avoid signal conflicts. Compared with the conventional power line communication (PLC) approach, the proposed transmission scheme has the advantages of simple circuit structure and simple system wiring. Additionally, a simulation model built in MATLAB/Simulink proves the designed transmission method has strong anti-noise ability.

The dynamic evolution process of the coal gangue particles’ core retention phenomenon in the process of crushing under stress, the evolution law of grading and the corresponding microscopic mechanical characteristics after continuous particle crushing are analyzed. The meso-level which reveals deformation phenomena of granular materials under the action of external loads is highly complex. At the qualitative level, the static compaction process of coal gangue samples can be roughly divided into three stages: initial compaction stage, compaction and crushing stage, and crushing (compaction) stage. It is proved that the interaction of lateral confined unidirectional compression of granular materials is mainly compression.

The oxygen-containing functional groups (OCFG) on the coal surface affect the adsorption effect of hydrocarbon oily collectors (HOC). An investigation of the interaction between the HOC and OCFG in the absence and presence of water is conducive to understanding the effect of OCFG type on the adsorption of HOC on the coal surface. In this paper, FTIR analysis was used to analyze the OCFG type of coal surface. The adsorption behavior of HOC on different OCFG surfaces was investigated using molecular dynamics simulation. The results indicated the presence of OCFG such as -OH, -COOH, -C=O, and -COCH3 on the coal surface. In conditions without water, the effect of OCFG on HOC adsorption capability follows the order -COOH > -C=O > -OH > -COCH3. In an aqueous solution, the effect of OCFG on HOC adsorption capability follows the order -C=O>-COCH3>-OH>-COOH. Moreover, the hydrophilicity of OCFG is the key factor that affects the adsorption effect of HOC. In other words, the adsorption effect of HOC on the coal surface in an aqueous solution does not depend on the strength of the interaction between the OCFG and HOC in the absence of water, but on the hydrophilicity of the OCFG. The -COOH and -OH on the coal surface are not conducive to the adsorption of HOC onto the coal surface. Masking the -COOH and -OH of the coal surface is beneficial in improving the coal flotation performance with HOC as a collector.

This article introduces the study of peripheral clamping for large-aperture laser mirrors in high power laser facilities. Some multi-point clamping schemes were experimentally tested, the results of the experiments show that these schemes cannot meet the technical requirements, and in the simulation analysis, we explain the reason for this phenomenon. It is concluded that the additional bending moment caused by the non-ideal process factors in the multi-point clamping is the main cause for the surface distortion. Based on the above conclusions, we carried out research on minor-point clamping. Experimental verification of the minor-point clamping were done, the results show that the minor-point clamping can meet the requirements of technical indicators in whole process. This work can provide a reference for the design of the large-aperture transport mirror clamping structure, which may be used in huge laser devices and telescopes.
