    Purpose: The purpose of this article is to present the problems and challenges faced by organisation of distribution logistics with a selected example. Comparing the company to the competition and focusing on the problems and challenges faced by the studied enterprise on the market of fast-moving consumer goods. Design/methodology/approach: The subject of the study is the evaluation of distribution channels of the selected enterprise through the analytical and point method. Findings: The obtained results, thanks to the use of the analytical-point method and the efficiency index of distribution channels, indicate that for the surveyed enterprise, Eurocash distribution channels are not sufficiently effective. The indicator of distribution costs in sales compared to the competition is the highest. Several factors had an impact on such results. Research limitations/implications: However, the issues presented in the paper regarding the problems and challenges of distribution organization cannot be considered as exhaustive, because the discussed topics constitute a multifaceted and interdisciplinary research area. The study would be more complete if the management of distribution logistics on the FMCG market were presented based on the changes caused by the Sars-Cov-19 pandemic. Practical implications: The conducted research draws attention to the effectiveness of distribution channels on the FMCG market. The article may be useful for enterprises providing services in this business sector. Social implications: The article shows the importance of making decisions in the area of distribution processes that significantly affect the entire supply chain, and thus customer service. The use of optimal distribution channels affects the efficiency of logistics services, contributing to an improvement in the quality of service provided to the final recipient and the competitiveness of the company on the FMCG market. Originality/value: The work is addressed to entrepreneurs operating in the FMCG industry. As well as all those interested in the subject of logistics, management and distribution on the market of fast-moving consumer goods.

    Autorka artykułu wychodzi z założenia, że podręcznik odgrywa kluczową rolę w procesie nauczania i uczenia się języka obcego. Podjęła zatem próbę omówienia podręcznika multimedialnego zyskującego popularność na lekcjach języków obcych. W pierwszej części artykułu przytoczono słownikowe definicje pojęcia podręcznika i przedstawiono jego cechy. W pozostałej części artykułu wiodącą rolę odgrywa analiza e-podręcznika zarówno pod względem treści, jak i konstrukcji. Autorka doszła do wniosku, że podręcznik klasyczny i podręcznik cyfrowy niewiele się od siebie różnią, jeśli weźmiemy pod uwagę globalny skład i zawarte w nim treści. Podkreśla jednak, że uczeń korzystający z drukowanego podręcznika ma ustaloną ścieżkę edukacyjną, którą musi podążać, aby osiągnąć określony poziom wiedzy. Z drugiej strony student może łatwo zagubić się w e-podręczniku, w jego strukturze może też przekroczyć obowiązkowe segmenty poprzez wykorzystanie różnorodnych plików multimedialnych osadzonych w jego strukturze. 
    The author of this article assumes that a textbook is central to the process of teaching and learning a foreign language. Thus, it she attempted to discuss a multimedia textbook gaining popularity during foreign language classes. In the first part of the article dictionary definitions of the concept of a textbook are quoted and its features are presents. In the rest of the artikle, the analysis of e-textbook in terms of both content and construction plays the leading role. The author came to the conclusion that a classic textbook and digital textbook do not differ much from each other, if we consider the global composition and content contained. She stresses, however, that a student using a printed textbook has a fixed educational path, which must be followed in order to achieve a given level of knowledge. On the other hand, a student can easily get lost in a e-textbook, in the structure of it, a student may also exceed the mandatory segments through the use of a variety of multimedia files embedded in its structure.

    Tourism management is a significant mean for realization of various political objectives, such as development of a given country’s image abroad, or a character and the zone of relations with other states. It is also a phenomenon of sizable and diversified contents. The tourism itself plays a significant role as one of the components of international economic relations. Currently, tourism and/or tourism management is a reason for numerous scientific studies. Tourism is continuously accompanied by such phenomena and notions as: migration of persons, transfer of money and capital, exchange of goods and services, currency exchange rates, international cooperation or balance of payments. The problems associated with foreign tourism occupies an important position in the scope of international economic relations. Purpose of the article is to analyze the significance of international cooperation in tourism, and identification of its basic forms, recognition of main entities of international tourist policy and their initiatives undertaken to the benefit of tourism development. The article is focused on cooperation of governmental organizations. The performed analysis proved that the significance of various form of international cooperation in tourism remain on the increase. Its scope and role in shaping contemporary tourism policy are expanding constantly.

Opisano podstawowe zagadnienia związane z rozwojem lokalnym i przedstawiono charakterystykę omawianego powiatu, aby ukazać jego specyfikę. Podejmując tę problematykę, zwrócono uwagę na systemowe ujęcie powiatu i podejmowane w nim strategie zarządzania, które mają doprowadzić do poprawy standardów życia społeczności lokalnej.
    The article contains a discussion of issues related to local development, such as defining and local scale and their relationships, local development, management of local development with particular emphasis on development strategies. The purpose of this article is to present the management of local development on the example of the strategy undertaken in the district of Czestochowa. At the beginning of the study, we attempted to describe the basic issues related to local development then presented the characteristics of this county, to show its specificity. In discussing these issues, we drew attention to the systemic approach taken by the county and its management strategies, which aim to improve the living standards of the local community.

    Adapting the city to the needs of people with disabilities is a challenge of present times. Cities, in order to meet the needs of this group of people, create local development programs that address their needs. Częstochowa in the years 2014–2020, these actions are implemented within the framework of the Action Program for Disabled Persons, “CZESTOCHOWA FOR THE DISABLED PEOPLE”. This program is aimed at the disabled and their families. It is also socially important because of the growing number of seniors. The aim of this paper is to present the social policy of the city of Czestochowa to people with disabilities. The article was prepared on the basis of literature studies in the field of management, organization and planning of social activities in administrative units and statistical data from the public administration in Czestochowa.
    Dostosowanie miasta do potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych jest wyzwaniem obecnych czasów. Miasta, chcąc sprostać wymaganiom tej grupy mieszkańców, tworzą lokalne programy rozwoju uwzględniające ich potrzeby. Częstochowa w latach 2014–2020 działania te realizuje w ramach Programu Działań na Rzecz Osób Niepełnosprawnych „CZĘSTOCHOWA NIEPEŁNOSPRAWNYM”. Program ten skierowany jest do niepełnosprawnych oraz ich rodzin. Jest on ważny społecznie również ze względu na rosnącą liczbę seniorów. Celem niniejszego opracowania jest prezentacja polityki socjalnej miasta Częstochowa względem osób z niepełnosprawnością. Autorki dokonały analizy strategii logistyki miejskiej wobec potrzeb niepełnosprawnych mieszkańców. Praca ma charakter przeglądowy. Wykorzystana w niej została literatura z zakresu organizacji i zarządzania oraz dane statystyczno-administracyjne dla miasta Częstochowa.

    Celem niniejszego opracowania jest przedstawienie znaczenia rozwiązań logistycznych w obszarze agrobiznesu. W pierwszej części pracy opisano politykę rolno-spożywczą w Unii Europejskiej i jej główne cele związane z zagospodarowaniem obszarów wiejskich. Autorki doszły do wniosku, iż współczesna gospodarka żywnościowa może funkcjonować optymalnie jedynie przy zastosowaniu innowacyjnych strategii logistycznych. W dalszej części rozważaniom poddano istotę logistyki w agrobiznesie. Agrologistykę przedstawiono z dwóch perspektyw: w aspekcie niezbędnej wiedzy menadżerskiej wpływającej na styl zarządzania firmą oraz jako system wsparcia technicznego dla przedsiębiorstwa. Artykuł podsumowują wnioski na temat logistycznej perspektywy w agrobiznesie.
    The aim of this paper is to present the importance of logistic solutions in the area of agri-business. The first part describes agricultural and food policy in the European Union and its main objectives connected with the development of rural areas. The authors have concluded that the modern food economy functions optimally only when innovative logistic strategies are used. Further part of the paper includes discussion about the importance of logistics in agri-business. Agribusiness has been presented from two perspectives: as the necessary managerial knowledge affecting the style of a company management and as a system for technical support of an enterprise. The paper has been summed up with conclusions about the logistic perspective in agribusiness.

    Innowacje stanowią istotny czynnik rozwoju przedsiębiorstwa. Analizie poddano Grupę PKP CARGO. Wykazano, iż projekty mogą być najlepszym rozwiązaniem dzięki eksploatacji zasobów wewnętrznych przedsiębiorstwa w obliczu kryzysowych zmian na rynku.

    Domestic violence is a phenomenon whose scale is difficult to determine. This is because a large number of cases are not reported by victims. The phenomenon of violence is a complex process that cannot be satisfactorily explained by referring to factors of one kind, e.g. genetic determinants of aggression, or by associating it only with the methods of upbringing in the family. In order to understand the source of violence, one should first of all analyse the circumstances of the victim, including their subjective interpretations, resources, previous experiences of help and their cur- rent life situation. The participants of violence in the family space are as follows: victims: children, older family members, women and, less frequently, men; perpetrators: usually men, women, less often the elderly and children; witnesses: family members, visitors, doc- tors, lawyers, officials, social workers, etc. In domestic violence, it is the victims who experience the greatest humiliation, fear, suffering, helplessness, depression and despair. Acts of aggression mainly concern physically weaker individuals, i.e. most frequently women, children and elderly people. Violence is a very alarming phenomenon to the contemporary family, as its scale is increasing and concerns mostly children and women. Acts of violence occur constantly. All organisations, both at the local government, national and global level, should make efforts to coun- teract this phenomenon. For this reason, the area of counteracting domestic violence is more and more often discussed, and the knowledge is broadened by conducting systematic scientific research and project implementation. There is no single coher- ent theoretical concept explaining the emergence of violence between relatives in the family, it is difficult to see from the outside, and even more so to describe, the con- sequences of a person experiencing domestic violence. The four walls and the obli- gation to remain silent, whether spoken by the perpetrator or not – most often hide the effects of abuse for a long time. Therefore, searching for effective forms of coun- teracting domestic violence and helping its victims is an extremely important activity at every level of human activity. In Poland, more and more professionals and volun- teers, non-governmental organisations and specialised institutions are involved in the fight against family violence, however, there are still no uniform solutions. Thanks to the expansion of social programmes, media campaigns and the growing interest of the scientific world, there has been an increase in the knowledge of do- mestic violence. The consequence of this is a better understanding of the phenome- non of violence and the differentiation of its specific types, e.g. against a child, de- fined by the maltreatment syndrome, violence against the elderly or the disabled, school and partner violence, as well as other forms related to, among others, aggres- sion or self-mutilation. The issues discussed in this monograph allowed not only to analyse the problem of family violence, but also to identify the key causes leading to its formation in the environment of the closest people and the methods and forms of its prevention. On the basis of the presented considerations, both theoretical and empirical, the areas of counteracting violence in the city of Czestochowa that require development and modification, and above all, the possibilities of the municipal administrator of communal housing to engage in violence prevention, were determined. The conducted research shows that the areas of contact of the administrator with the residents allow to confirm the claims that such an entity has special possibilities to take actions aimed at limiting the phenomenon of violence, as if in addition to the basic activity performed. The conducted research, based on theoretical and empirical analysis, emphasizes in particular the importance of qualified staff, appropriate as- signment of responsibilities, but also the need to implement an internal procedure at ZGM TBS in Czestochowa, aimed at appropriate shaping of the behaviour of employees facing the phenomenon of violence.
