This article looks at the research model as well as research results on a level of transfer of the effects of training to the work environment along with the organizational factors defining it. The aim is to assess the level of training transfer as a product of intensity and frequency of implementation training results at work, as well as to characterize companies where the level of transfer is the highest and lowest. Also investigated is the correlation between the level of transfer and different organizational factors confirming the correlation of such transfer with possibilities for implementing knowledge in practice, support for implementing change by subordinates, and organizational openness for changes and rewards for implementing the training results.

Aim: The aim is to show market indications with respect to how to alter training investment management so that to improve the impact of training on the organization’s performance. The topic is important because the effectiveness of business practice in training processes in Polish organizations continues to be poor due to the lack of benchmarks in the form of good practices or research.   Design / Research methods: The paper cites research findings which illustrate the existing practice of training management in Polish companies, as well as studies allowing for identification of the key indications for changes. The research methods employed in the findings cited belong to the category of pragmatic methods drawing on quantitative data gathered based on a questionnaire and quantitative and qualitative data gathered on the basis of an interview. The data stemming from the research cited are obtained through a subjective interpretation of the existing processes and phenomena.  Conclusions / findings: TDI Study shows that the following are the weakest link in training processes. The area of evaluation from the perspective of assessing how the training affects the firm’s performance. The area of managers’ commitment during the stage of applying competences on the job. The study of Indications for Training Process Transformation shows that the crucial change for an organization in the context of improving business effectiveness of training is to shift the focus of the analysis of needs from being centered solely on the competence gap towards identifying potential impact of training on business performance. The most realistic change involves introducing tools designed for managing the implementation phase and building awareness among participants that training is not merely an element of knowledge acquirement but an obligation to change behaviors with this change yielding business advantages for the company.

The aim of the paper it to analyze the effectiveness of training of fighters of UKS Gladiator Club in the preparatory phase and to analyze training loads used during that time. Participants included a group of 12 fighters of UKS Gladiator Club who have achieved high sports results – this group includes medalists of Polish Championships and of the Cup of Europe. Test were carried three times in the preparatory phase. Physical fitness parameters have been evaluated by means of selected tests of EUROFIT testing battery. Summing up, it should be noted that an important cognitive element of the research carried out is an observation of improvement of the level of physical fitness in case of the majority of investigated features, which was the intended effect of training in the preparatory phase. The adopted training load has caused an average increase of investigated parameters, which proves training effectiveness.

This article contains the results of research on the evaluation of the training offer addressed to the medical staff of one of the largest Polish specialist hospitals. The authors have used surveys addressed to employees: doctors and nurses. On the basis of numeral data received from the respondents, two “quality maps” have been drawn that show the opinion of “white coat” workers (doctors and nurses) about the hospital training offer. This work presents similarities and differences between assessments of doctors and nurses. A short description of the hospital as well as its weaknesses and strengths has been presented. A direction of possible changes has been indicated by the employees. The authors indicate the significance of training programs in order to gain work satisfaction, and the role of the personnel strategy to achieve the objectives. They emphasize the significance of aimed professional development in a health-care-providing institution where knowledge and skills have an influence on the health and lives of patients. Research results showed the validity of the practical use of the quality map in the process of hospital management. This tool allows us to get answers about which areas (according to respondents) carrying out corrective actions are recommended.

Many documents and initiatives at a government level emphasize the necessity of a society and a country to develop further basing on education, digitization and innovations. The article concerns the first of mentioned factors, i.e. the education market, and even more the training services market in Poland. Its aim is to show the size of such a market and to present basic analysis of competitiveness. A definitional chaos connected with determining the range of training services market as well as with a definition of a training institution does not contribute to the construction of unified strategy directed towards such a market (this constitutes the first part of the article). In a further part a size of geographical difference of the training market, its disintegration, a local character in the activities of most of training institutions as well as product differences are presented.
Ряд документов и инициатив на уровне правительства подчеркивает необходимость развития общества и страны, во все большей степени опирающегося на образование, цифризацию и инновационность. Статья посвящена первому из упомянутых факторов, т. е. рынку образования, точнее, рынку услуг по обучению в Польше. Ее цель – показать объем этого рынка, а также представить основные анализы конкурентоспособности. Дефиниционный хаос, связанный с определением радиуса действия рынка услуг по обучению, а также определением термина „учебное учреждение”, не способствует построению сплошной стратегии, направленной на этот рынок (чему посвящена первая часть статьи). Затем автор представляет оценки, касающиеся объема, а также стоимости польского рынка услуг по обучению. В дальнейшей части показывает большую географическую дифференциацию рынка обучения (учебные учреждения сосредоточены в самых многолюдных городах Польши), раздробленность рынка, локальный характер деятельности большинства учебных учреждений, а также продуктовую дифференциацию.

The possibility of local reduction of subcutaneous fatty tissue was investigated in the project discussed in this article. Only one male participated in the experiment. During the experiment the participant trained his abdomen doing additional cardio training for two weeks, while in the following two weeks the abdomen was not trained at all. Instead of abdomen training, only cardio training was performed. This was repeated until the end of the experiment which lasted 9 weeks. The sum of thickness of all 7 observed skin folds was counted. Then, percentage of thickness of abdomen skin folds in relation to all skin folds was calculated. Each successive measurement was compared with the previous one to assess the decrease or increase of abdomen skin fold percentage in relation to all measured skin folds. We put the decreases and increases into a contingency table and calculated probability by using the Fisher’s exact test. Statistical significance was determined at 0.05 level. The local reduction of subcutaneous fatty tissue at abdomen was proven. However, the problem needs more scientific results to conclude this question completely.
W artykule przedstawiono możliwości redukcji lokalnej podskórnej tkanki tłuszczowej. Badania przeprowadzono na jednym przedstawicielu płci męskiej. Podczas eksperymentu badany trenował mięśnie brzucha w kombinacji z treningiem aerobowym przez dwa tygodnie. Następne dwa tygodnie mężczyzna wykonywał tylko trening wytrzymałościowy i nie trenował w ogóle mięśni brzucha. Powtarzano to do czasu zakończenia eksperymentu, który trwał przez dziewięć tygodni. Obliczono całkowitą grubość obserwowanych 7 fałdów skórnych. Następnie obliczono wartość procentową tworzoną przez grubość fałdu skórnego na brzuchu względem sumy wszystkich fałdów skóry. Każdy kolejny pomiar porównywano z poprzednim, aby sprawdzić, czy stosunek procentowy grubości fałdu skórnego na brzuchu do grubości wszystkich fałdów skóry wzrośnie czy zmaleje. Wyniki pomiarów zestawiono w tabeli, a prawdopodobieństwo błędu obliczono przy pomocy testu Fiszera. Jako istotną statystycznie przyjęto wartość 0,05. Badania wykazały lokalną redukcję podskórnej tkanki tłuszczowej na brzuchu, ostateczne rozstrzygnięcie przedmiotowej kwestii wymaga jednakże dalszych badań.

The aim of the study was to compare the effect of an increasing-distance interval-training program and a decreasing-distance interval-training program, matched for total distance, on aerobic and anaerobic performance capabilities. Forty physical education students were randomly assigned to either increasing- or decreasing-distance interval-training group (ITG and DTG), and completed two similar sets of tests before and after six weeks of training. One training program consisted of 100 – 200 – 300 – 400 – 500m running intervals, and the other 500 – 400 – 300 – 200 - 100m. While both training programs led to a significant improvement in 2000m run (ES = 0.02-0.68), the improvement in the DTG was significantly greater than in the ITG (18.3 ± 3.6 vs. 12.2 ± 3.2 %, p< 0.05). In addition, while both training programs led to a significant improvement in 300m run (ES = 0.25-0.73), the improvement in the DTG was significantly greater than in the ITG (21.1 ± 1.8 vs. 15.4 ± 1.1 %, p< 0.05). The findings indicate that beyond the significant positive effects of both training programs, the DTG showed significant superiority over the ITG in improving aerobic and anaerobic performance capabilities. Athletes should acknowledge that, in spite of identical total work, interval-training program might induce different physiological impacts if order of intervals is different.

Proper nutrition is a decisive factor of growth and development of a young organism. It has also a major impact on athletic performance. The aim of this paper is to discuss the basic principles of nutrition in sports training and health training. The size, composition and times of meals may have a huge impact on sports performance. Good dietary practices allow athletes to train hard, regenerate quickly, adapt better, while reducing the risk of illness and injury. Athletes should use appropriate nutritional strategies before and after their performances, so as to achieve the best results. They should pay special attention to the amounts of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals in their food:, as well as the amount of consumed fluids.
Prawidłowe odżywianie jest decydującym czynnikiem wpływającym na wzrastanie oraz rozwój młodego organizmu, wywiera także zasadniczy wpływ na osiągane wyniki sportowe. Celem niniejszej pracy jest omówienie podstawowych zasad żywieniowych w treningu sportowym i zdrowotnym. Wielkość, skład i godziny przyjmowania posiłków mogą mieć ogromny wpływ na wyniki w sporcie. Dobre praktyki żywieniowe pozwalają zawodnikom ciężko trenować, szybko regenerować siły i lepiej adaptować się przy zmniejszonym ryzyku choroby i kontuzji. Sportowcy powinni stosować odpowiednie strategie żywieniowe przed i po występach, tak aby osiągać jak najlepsze wyniki. Zawodnicy powinni szczególnie zwrócić uwagę na ilość spożywanych w posiłkach: węglowodanów, białek, tłuszczy, witamin i składników mineralnych oraz ilość wypijanych płynów.

As part of university teaching it is possible to use the teaching methods and techniques of distance education. Both the design and doing classes on the distance it must be remembered, that they must meet certain requirements. Distance education at the university can only take the form of blended learning, which is a mixed form, where classes are doing partly in the traditional way, and partly remotely. Distance learning classes should take into account both formal ministerial regulations, internal regulation university, as well as informal rules of creating the course. It should be taken into account methodological principles of creating training and preferences of people involved in education. In addition, each participant of this kind of education should know exactly his obligations. As a result, the teaching process is not in doubt as to the form, rights and obligations of users. Therefore, the article presents issues in the design of interactive training. It will show the possibility of using different kinds of course elements, as well as ways of planning the course. This way it will be easier to create a course that during the implementation can become an interesting way of deepening knowledge.

Opis:
Specialized training of candidates for officers is one of the main components affecting the preparation of an officer for taking up first duty. In the article the author presents and analyzes the structure of the specialized training for the corps of defense against weapons of mass destruction (CBRN), in force in the years 2006-2015. The evaluation of the specialized training programs shows diversification in terms of the organization of training while maintaining the consistency of training objectives. On the grounds of such an evaluation the author argues that the program multiplicity and variability may differentiate, and probably does, graduates in respect of the level of competences for the profession. That thesis constitutes the basis for conducting studies on the effectiveness of specialized training of candidates for officers of the Polish Armed Forces.

This study aims to find the effectiveness of different exercise intensities (high-, moderate-, and low-intensity) on the dynamic and static balance of elderly women. A single-blinded factorial design study was conducted in healthy older adults (>65 years) in 12 weeks. The authors have assessed the Forward Reach Test (FRT), Lateral Reach Test (LRT), One Leg Stand (OLS), Tandem Stand Test (TST) in 60 healthy older women at a gym centre, Fit House located in Bukit Rimau, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Participants were randomly assigned to a High-Intensity Training (HIT) group; (n=15) (Mean age 69.60 ± 3.68) who performed four exercises [Leg Press (LP), Leg Extension (LE), Leg Curl (LC), and Calf Raises (CR)] at 80 to 90% of One-Repetition Maximum (1RM); Moderate-Intensity Training (MIT) group (n=15) (Mean age 69.27 ± 3.41) performed at 65 to 75% of 1RM; Low- Intensity Training (LIT) group (n=15) (Mean age 69.27 ± 1.94) performed at 50 to 60% of 1 RM; and a Control Group (CG) (n = 15) (Mean age 68.67 ± 2.38) with no training. Data was collected at pre-test, 4th, 8th, and 12th weeks of intervention. 60 participants were analysed and the main effect of time showed a statistically significant difference in the mean of all variables (all p < 0.001), and also there was a statistically significant interaction between intervention and time on all variables (all p < 0.001). Different levels of intensity on only the lower extremities muscles had a significant effect on the dynamic balance and static balance of the elderly population. After four weeks of training HIT, MIT, and LIT illustrated significant improvement in dynamic balance, as well as static balance.

Project Common Vocational Training to Master in the Baltic Sea Region (MASTER BSR) was approved in the Erasmus + Key Action 2 Strategic Partnerships Innovation-Transfer Project. It has started 1st of September 2015 and is planned to end in August 2018. The total project budget is 420 460 € and is fully refunded from the Erasmus + Programme funds. The lack of entrepreneurs is particularly high in countries with predominantly school-based vocational training and deficits of further vocational training. SMEs in countries with pre-dominantly school-based vocational training are also in need of professionals with educational and trainer qualifications to accomplish the training within the company, when applying the dual vocational training model. The project is aimed to train company successors, entrepreneurs and managers in the Baltic Sea Region, based on a relatively high-level master qualification system. Another aim is to increase the efficiency and the competitiveness of SMEs by promoting the realization of the dual vocational training. On the basis of the German master craftsman training and the experience of further Baltic Sea Region countries, a concept for unified master training for the entire Baltic Sea Region has been developed.

Material and methods: Thirty non -athlete underweight female students qualified with an average age of 23±1.64 years, weight of 43.53±0.28 kg, height of 162.66±6.6 cm and BMI of 16.31±0.2 kg /m 2 were selected and randomly assigned into three groups of 10 subjects (traditional, TRX and control). Participants performed training of 3 sessions per week for eight weeks. Before and after the period of training, physical fitness variables including muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, thigh and arm circumferences were measured. Results: The results showed that both forms of training had a significant effect on muscular strength and endurance. There was no significant difference in flexibility and thigh and arm circumferences. Conclusion: It can be concluded, that the traditional and TRX training have created almost same improvements in physical fitness factors, so TRX training can be considered an efficient choice to do alongside traditional training or as its alternative in order to earn desired training achievements. It is noteworthy that when training goal is to enhance muscular strength and endurance especially in upper -body, TRX training appears to be accompanied by greater gains compared to traditional resistance training.

Due to the commonly perceived need to specialize in one professional activity, the role of education is increasing. This includes accounting specializations which are important as professions of public trust. In connection with such expectations, the role of education among professional groups of accounting professionals at all levels is increasing. The article presents the educational requirements for the professional specialization on accounting against the IFAC International Education Standards and in the context of the deregulation of the accountancy professions in Poland. As a solution to the problems of appropriate education, the role of the Accountants Association in Poland (AAP) was pointed out, based on the courses provided by it, aimed at not only improving the qualifications of the individuals who are involved in accounting professionally, but also on the supporting ethics. The courses taught were analyzed in a cross-section of their participants in the years 2013-2016. The method adopted to achieve the intended purpose was the analysis of the available literature, the laws in force and the sources provided by the AAP. On the basis of the research, it was found that despite the absence of mandatory professional certification for accounting and bookkeeping, the professionals in this area do see the need for continuous education and take diverse action to raise the quality of the services they provide.

During occupational trainings given to Polish employees, one can quite often observe complaining. The instructor can use it for problem-solving or for purification. Thus, complaining plays an instrumental or cathartic function. This has consequences for the entire training process. The aim of the article is to present the phenomenon of complaining during training courses and to discuss its correlation with different variables such as learning results, participants’ mood and the evaluation of the training course. Questions were therefore posed about which function of complaining would be more conducive to the process of learning the material and result in an improvement of the participants’ mood, as well as how the instructor would be evaluated, at the response level, depending on which function of complaining is activated during the training. In order to answer these questions, the authors designed an experiment in which complaining was induced in members of an organization, performing either an instrumental function or a cathartic function. The results show that the most effective strategy is the use of its object as a point of departure for problem solution.

Anchoring exercises on a training ship have a significant effect on the acquisition of ship handling skills. Furthermore, such training is also effective for the development of critical thinking and problem solving. The authors investigated this topic to develop effective training methods for anchoring exercises. We created a rubric for anchor training, and the instructor evaluated trainees based on the rubric items. These rubrics were effective for judging trainee performance. The effect of dialogue in group work was shown by comments from instructors and the trainees. Group presentations were also evaluated via student comments. After conducting the anchoring training in native language in the spring, the same exercise was conducted in English in the fall. Only English instructions were offered during the training exercise in the first year (2016). In the second year (2017), students took a brief e-learning course in English about anchoring before attempting the second exercise in English. According to instructor evaluations, the second session in 2017 saw a much greater improvement in trainee performance than did the second session in 2016. English practice in the e-learning course allowed students to focus more on practising the techniques they had learned previously when performing the second training exercise in English.

In the article, the authors present the concept of quality of vocational education and its implementation possibilities. The situation of the presented vocational training in Lithuania and discusses the results of the research. In the research, three vocational education schools were selected by random selection method from each region of Lithuania (Marijampolė and Alytus, Utena, Panevėžys, Šiauliai, Telšiai and Tauragė, Klaipėda, Kaunas, Vilnius). The mentioned above sampling method ensures that the generic set elements are selected independently from each other, they are irreplaceable. Data was collected from 24 Lithuanian vocational schools (i.e. 34% of schools were surveyed). 240 teachers, 340 students and 48 school heads were interviewed in total. Thus, the overall number of participants in the study was 628 (n = 628).

This paper concerns the issue of management and assessment of the aviation training process, which takes into account the elements changing over time: the state of training, its level, quality and mechanisms rationalising the organisational activities and costs. The elements of the complex management system of the aviation training process, which includes probabilistic models for projecting the reliable, safe and effective aviation training, taking into account the requirements imposed by rules, standards and regulations of civil and military aviation, were discussed. In general, its structure, internal modules and exemplary tables of the analysis and assessment of the aviation personnel updates and the validity of permissible breaks during flight by aviation personnel. A schematic diagram of introducing the input data, main parameters, statistical data and expected results in the form of the training schedule, the schedule of the aircraft necessary moving, indicators of the training analysis and assessment, safety and reliability, were mentioned. The mathematical notations of input data and examples of the offered training indicator of aviation personnel were presented. The criterion global function, which exposes the maximisation of the aviation personnel training, as well as the maximisation of the performed flying time of a given type of aircraft, and the minimisation of operating costs of the specific aviation training, was determined. The paper was completed with a conclusion that shows the advantages of the proposed complex management system of the aviation training process.

Introduction: The training of core muscles is key in sports training to improve performance and reduce the risk of injuries. However the most effective method to improve core musculature is still controversial. Therefore the objective of this study was aimed at investigating the effectiveness of dynamic Swiss ball training in reinforcing the core stability of collegiate athletes. Materials and methods: This two-group, two-factor research involved 67, 18- to 28-year-old collegiate athletes (18 females, 49 males) who were divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group was provided dynamic Swiss ball training, whereas the control group was instructed to perform floor exercises. The groups underwent training for six weeks (three days per week). Four core stability tests (the Biering-Sorenson trunk extension, Side Bridge, prone bridge, and double leg lowering tests) were administrated pre- and post-training. Results: The mean scores of the participants in the core stability tests significantly improved after six weeks of training (p<0.05), but the between-group comparisons revealed that the experimental group significantly outperformed the control group in terms of enhancement in core stability (p<0.05). Conclusion: The relatively high improvement in core stability parameters after Swiss ball training suggested that these exercises are favorable alternatives to traditional floor exercises in strengthening the core muscles. The findings are expected to help athletes, coaches, trainers, and other strength and conditioning specialists involved in athletic training decide on appropriate training methods.

Virtual Reality (VR) is an amazing tool in the field of interaction, simulation, and entertainment between humans and computers. This technology is often used for recreational purposes in combination with physical activities. The main objective of this study was to compare intermittent training with continuous training on the shooting range. The first part of the article presents the essence of virtual reality and the possibilities that arise from its use. Then the created virtual environment, in which the shooter is located, and the way the study has been carried out are presented. The attempts of the participants were shown and evaluated. The realistic physics of movement and environment interactions have been designed into this map. The main aspects of the modelled and programmed shooting range were presented and their use has been described. The following section describes the research process and the analysis of the results of the test carried out on eight participants who had not previously been exposed to virtual reality. The test subjects were divided into two groups, one intermittent training and the other continuous training. The results of these groups were compared to assess which forms of training in a virtual reality environment were more beneficial.

Tematem pracy jest problematyka szkoleń pracowników we współczesnych organizacjach. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja wyników badania zrealizowanego w ramach projektu RPMA.01.02.00-14-7402/16, dofinansowanego ze środków Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Mazowieckiego. Badanie przeprowadzono wśród uczestników dwu typów szkoleń – tradycyjnych oraz prowadzonych w formule edutainment, rozumianych jako specyficzny rodzaj szkoleń, łączących elementy edukacji (education) i rozrywki (entertainment). Celem badania była identyfikacja kluczowych oczekiwań wpływających na satysfakcję i ocenę jakości procesu szkoleniowego pracowników sektora biznesu, z uwzględnieniem możliwości wykorzystania nabytej wiedzy w rzeczywistych warunkach zawodowych. Porównywano opinie dotyczące szkoleń z obszarów: przywództwa, negocjacji, motywowania pracowników i zarządzania zmianą.
The aim of the article is to present the results of the research carried out as part of the project RPMA.01.02.00-14-7402/16 co-financed by the Regional Operational Program of the Mazovian Voivodeship. The study was conducted among participants of traditional training and the one with elements of education and entertainment. The aim of the study was to identify expectations and needs affecting satisfaction and quality assessment of the training process of employees in the business sector. Respondents’ opinions concerned courses in the areas of: leadership, negotiation, employee motivation and change management. The increase in the participants knowledge attending two types of training was examined as well as the level of their satisfaction regarding their expectations.

Introduction: The Purpose of this study was to develop and substantiate an experimental program for the improvement of the technical preparedness of 16-18 year-old rugby players through the use of computer technologies. Materials and methods: 60 athletes, 16-18 years old participated, in the study. Results: the computer training program, “Rugby-13”, was developed and theoretically based to improve the technical readiness of rugby players at the stage of specialized basic training. Conclusions: during the study, the efficiency of the application of the experimental program for the technical training of rugby players at the stage of specialized basic training, has been proved by the results of the research.

The aim of this study was to assess the maximum velocity achieved by professional soccer players. The study involved 20 professional football players. The analysis of the achieved velocities during the season was based on individual maximum velocity values obtained in a preseason period test using the GPS monitoring device Catapult Vector S7. The study covered 20 match units and 77 training units. A velocity equal to or greater than 100% of the maximum velocity was achieved 24 times - 21 times (accounting for 88%) during a competitive match (MD 0), 1 time (accounting for 4%) two days before (MD-2), and two times (accounting for 8%) three days before (MD-3). A velocity in the range of 90-99% of the maximum velocity was achieved 207 times. The results confirm that football players can achieve values equal to or greater than 100% of their maximum velocities; however, this occurrence is rare. Due to the low probability of high maximum velocity values during a training microcycle, it is recommended to incorporate specific training methods that allow for achieving high maximum velocities to reduce the risk of hamstring muscle injuries among players, especially among reserve players (who rarely participate in competitive matches).

Introduction: The obesity epidemic has begun in the 80s and is still spreading which makes it a serious social and medical problem for the contemporary world. WHO stated that obesity is a chronic disease which requires complex treatment (special diet, change in a life style, physical activity). Both, individual workout performed on the aerobic equipment and resistance training, are crucial for obesity treatment. Propagating healthy lifestyle and proper eating habits among the whole nation is the basis for preventing and curing obesity and overweight. Aim of paper: The aim of the research was to evaluate the diet and the body composition in a group of adolescence, aged 16-18 beginning yearly professionally designed fitness program. Material and methods: The group of 90 girls and 64 boys began a specially designed fitness program which lasted 12 months. The nutritional state together with the body composition was evaluated with the use of bioelectrical impedance method (equipment InBody 220, producer Biospace). Results: The average BMI of the beforehand mentioned group was 23.3 [kg/m2] in girls and 24.4 [kg/m2] in boys. Although the BMI was close to normal the average amount of body fat was too high in girls (28.7%). In the group of girls the BMI showed a proper weight, however the amount of body fat was too high, it was suggested that the amount of fat tissue was decreased while the amount of skeletal muscles was increased. These data show that the proper body proportions were shaken. Conclusions: Professional equipment used for evaluation of the body composition helps to create a detailed program for fat reduction and muscle tissue growth together with creating a professional individual training program.
Wstęp: Epidemia otyłości notowana od lat 80. XX wieku trwa nadal, stając się poważnym problemem medyczno- -społecznym współczesnego świata. WHO uznała otyłość za przewlekłą chorobę wymagającą kompleksowego leczenia z zastosowaniem właściwej diety, zmiany stylu życia z uwzględnieniem aktywności fizycznej. Promocja zdrowego stylu życia oraz właściwych nawyków żywieniowych adresowana do całej populacji stanowi podstawę prewencji i leczenia nadwagi i otyłości. Celem pracy była ocena stanu odżywienia i parametrów składu ciała w grupie młodzieży w wieku 16-18 lat rozpoczynającej 12-miesięczny programowany trening fitness. Materiał i metody: Grupę badaną stanowiło 90 dziewcząt i 64 chłopców, zakwalifikowanych do długofalowych badań oceniających wpływ ćwiczeń fizycznych na parametry składu ciała i wybrane wskaźniki biomedyczne. Stan odżywienia i skład ciała badanych oceniano metodą impedancji bioelektrycznej z zastosowaniem urządzenia InBody 220 (producent Biospace). Wyniki: Średnie wartości BMI w badanej grupie młodzieży wynosiły 23,3 u dziewcząt i 24,4 u chłopców i mieściły się w granicach przyjętej normy. Pomimo prawidłowych wartości wskaźnika BMI w obu badanych grupach procentowa zawartość tkanki tłuszczowej u dziewcząt przekraczała optymalne wartości i wynosiła 28,7%. Analiza komputerowa składu ciała pomimo prawidłowych wartości BMI wskazywała w grupie dziewcząt potrzebę redukcji tkanki tłuszczowej przy jednoczesnym wzroście masy mięśni szkieletowych. Wnioski: Badanie składu ciała z zastosowaniem urządzeń wyposażonych w komputerowe analizatory pozwala precyzyjnie określić skład ciała badanych i wskazać kierunki prawidłowego indywidualnego programu treningowego.

Aim. The aim of the study is a description of the types of training designs, based on various classification criteria and illustrated by examples from the authors’ own practice. Methods. We used theoretical analysis and synthesis of scientific information, as well as modelling the training structure. Results and Conclusions. It was proposed to classify the designs of group training, depending either on the internal logic of the teaching material or on the external organisation of the training. Regarding the logic of presentation certain designs, through the analysis of existing learning approaches, are proposed of training, based on different logic: presentation of information, assimilation of information, B. Bloom's taxonomy, and  competencies formation. Using these designs, it is possible to construct either the whole training or its separate parts (thematic blocks, exercises). The external organisation of the training includes design of the sum of exercises, or of a coherent story.

Jednym z podstawowych założeń dydaktyki obcojęzycznej jest nauka poprzez sensowne działanie. Pojęcie „sensownego działania” będzie zawsze w jakiś sposób nieostre, ponieważ sens nadawany jest działaniom przez konkretne jednostki, czyli mamy tu do czynienia z subiektywną oceną. Nie jest więc łatwo nadać sens działaniom lekcyjnym w formalnym nauczaniu języka obcego, chociażby z powodu liczby osób uczestniczących zwykle w jednej lekcji. Ale nie jest to niemożliwe. W niniejszym artykule wychodzi się z założenia, że jedną z wielu możliwości usensownienia procesów dydaktycznych na lekcji języka obcego jest prowadzenie przez nauczyciela treningu twórczego myślenia oraz treningu strategicznego, obu zintegrowanych z celami i treściami regularnych zajęć. Wybór ten uzasadnia się paradygmatem konstruktywistycznym, współczesnymi potrzebami edukacyjnymi oraz bieżącymi uwarunkowaniami społecznymi – po to, by ostatecznie przejść do zaprezentowania aplikacji glottodydaktycznych w ramach wspomnianych treningów.
One of the basic assumptions of foreign language teaching methodology is that one learns through meaningful actions. The term “meaningful actions” will always be somehow vague because sense is made of actions by specific individuals, so there is always some subjective evaluation involved. Therefore, it is not easy to make class activities meaningful in the formal setting of foreign language teaching, taking into account for example the number of students participating in a single class. However, it is not impossible, either. This article assumes that one of the many possibilities to make sense of FLT processes is when the teacher carries out creative thinking training and strategic training, both of them integrated with the objectives and contents of regular classes. This choice is explained and justified by the constructivism paradigm, contemporary educational needs, as well as the social circumstances. Eventually, the article presents FLT applications within the trainings mentioned above.

Advanced jet training still relies on old concepts and solutions that are no longer efficient when considering the current and forthcoming changes in air combat. The cost of those old solutions to develop and maintain combat pilot skills are important, adding even more constraints to the training limitations. The requirement of having a trainer aircraft able to perform also light combat aircraft operational mission is adding unnecessary complexity and cost without any real operational advantages to air combat mission training. Thanks to emerging technologies, the JANUS project will study the feasibility of a brand-new concept of agile manoeuvrable training aircraft and an integrated training system, able to provide a live, virtual and constructive environment. The JANUS concept is based on a lightweight, low-cost, high energy aircraft associated to a ground based Integrated Training System providing simulated and emulated signals, simulated and real opponents, combined with real-time feedback on pilot’s physiological characteristics: traditionally embedded sensors are replaced with emulated signals, simulated opponents are proposed to the pilot, enabling out of sight engagement. JANUS is also providing new cost effective and more realistic solutions for "Red air aircraft” missions, organised in so-called "Aggressor Squadrons”.

Through different Leonardo da Vinci projects in the period 2005-2010 new pedagogical principles for organizing and delivering more cost- and time-efficient blended learning and training has been developed. This model may lead to new synergies for effective and pedagogical inclusion of state of the art high quality real-time visual collaboration tools into current training principles with a combination with Learning Design Tools such as LAMS. The basis for this framework has been a new pedagogical methodology for the training of the students themselves, named Activity Based Training (ABT). It was found that by using LAMS as a design tool, the teacher has to reflect on the activities introduced to the students in a structured and logical manner. In this way the structural facilities in LAMS fits the structure needed in the ABT methodology. Mechanical industries utilize traditional training methodologies by separating theoretical learning and training from practical training of skills. In such a pedagogical framework hands-on practice comes after the theoretical content descriptions. Activity Based Training (ABT) is closely connected to practical production activities. The training follows the same steps or phases as the industry follows when producing a product. It is then structured logically by giving the students a set of job orders which is broken down into job packages. However, drawing on previous experience based on the framework developed, new ideas will now be exploited and tested in a new set of course developments and frameworks for courses during 2009 – 2010.

The main problem of batch back propagation (BBP) algorithm is slow training and there are several parameters need to be adjusted manually, such as learning rate. In addition, the BBP algorithm suffers from saturation training. The objective of this study is to improve the speed up training of the BBP algorithm and to remove the saturation training. The training rate is the most significant parameter for increasing the efficiency of the BBP. In this study, a new dynamic training rate is created to speed the training of the BBP algorithm. The dynamic batch back propagation (DBBPLR) algorithm is presented, which trains with adynamic training rate. This technique was implemented with a sigmoid function. Several data sets were used as benchmarks for testing the effects of the created dynamic training rate that we created. All the experiments were performed on Matlab. From the experimental results, the DBBPLR algorithm provides superior performance in terms of training, faster training with higher accuracy compared to the BBP algorithm and existing works.

Heart failure (HF) due to its universality has become a huge challenge for modern medicine. Second part of the twentieth century brought significant changes in the rehabilitation, diagnostic and pharmacological procedures. There are no definitive guidelines for Cardiac Rehabilitation (CR) in HF. Based on previous studies, the article tried to describe and illustrate the mechanism of effective CR and its intensity in HF patients, which could be helpful in CR protocol development. Cardiac Rehabilitation has confirmed efficacy in increased physical level of participation in inter alia, home/work/recreational activities, improved psychosocial well-being, functional independence, prevention of disability, long-term adherence to maintaining physically active lifestyle, improved cardiopulmonary fitness, strength, muscle endurance, and flexibility, reduced cardiovascular events risk and risk of mortality. Before and after CR conduction, baseline and final aerobic capacity should be examined with an ergospirometry test to evaluate CR protocol intensity and check its effectiveness, respectively. Frequency of training-bouts in CR protocol in HF patients were from 3 to 7 days per week, intensity ranged from 40% to 80% VO2max or 9 to 14 on rating of the perceived exertion (RPE) scale or 6 to 20 on the Borg scale. Duration of single bout-exercise ranged from 20 to 60 minutes.

Opis:
Proper planning of the training process based on individual LT and AT metabolic thresholds is essential to improve athletic performance. Development of endurance in soccer players is mainly based on continuous runs and variable-intensity runs, supplemented with strength conditioning and sport-specific training. The aim of the study was to analyse selected parameters of physical capacity of soccer players after 8-week variable-intensity running training and circuit training. The experiment was carried out in a group of 34 soccer players aged 21 to 26 years. The athletes were divided into two groups: 17 people in the experimental group and 17 people in the control group. The experimental group was involved in 30-minute tempo runs two times a week for 8 weeks with variable intensity at AT. In the same period, the control group performed two 60-minute continuous runs at the intensity of 70-75%HRmax. The determination of metabolic thresholds used two indirect tests: the multistage shuttle run test (beep test) and maximal lactate steady state test (MLSS) with author's own modification. In order to evaluate maximal heart rate (HRmax), the research procedure was started from the beep test (distance: 20 m). The speed at the first level was 8.5 km/h and increased with each level by 0.5 km/h. Training of the experimental group where variable exercise intensity was used caused a statistically significant increase in HRmax (by 1.9%) and blood lactate levels at the AT (by 20.5%). The training in the experimental group led to the statistically significant (p < 0.05) increase in the parameters of the following variables: HRmax (by 1.9%); lactate level (by 7.85); HR at the AT (by 1,9%); lactate level at the AT (by 20.5%). The assumptions of the experimental training did not cause statistically significant changes in pretest vs. posttest HRmax and blood lactate levels for the LT. Endurance training with high intensity is more effective in soccer players compared to training with moderate intensity. Development of special endurance in soccer should also assume the intensity and method of working similar to the method used during sport competition.

The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of the proposed training program on some physiological and body composition variables of 24 volunteered youth male football players who under 20 years old (U20, age: 16–19 years, mean age: 17.3 ±1.0 years, playing for last 4–6 years). Those 24 players were divided into 2 groups, 12 players (experimental group), 12 players (control group). The training program consisted of aerobic training, anaerobic training, recreational game and practice football game. Data was collected at zero level (pre-test), in the mid of the program (mid-test) and at the end of program (post-test). For analysing data, repeated measures were used. In the experimental group a significant increase (P < 0.05) in number of shuttles, skeletal muscle, and resting metabolism and a significant decrease (P < 0.05) in body fat have been noted in (mid-test) and (post-test) when compared to (pre-test). However, a decrease was noted in body mass index, blood lactate, maximal heart rate, and visceral fat, but not to a significantly different level. In the control group negative significant increase (P < 0.05) in body fat and negative significant decrease (P < 0.05) in skeletal muscle and resting metabolism have been noted, no significant difference was observed in number of shuttle, body mass index, blood lactate, maximum heart rate and visceral fat. This study would provide useful information for training and exercise physiology and it may have a beneficial impact on health.

It is difficult to achieve high-quality education without good teachers. Therefore, it is crucial to understand who decides to become a teacher. This study leverages a large-scale administrative dataset comprising detailed records of the educational trajectories of 10 cohorts of students at the University of Warsaw, the largest higher education institution in Poland, in order to investigate self-selection to the teaching profession and to learn whether it depends on the mode of teacher training and the student’s primary field of studies. We find that the recruitment of students to the concurrent teacher training programme is characterised by adverse self-selection with respect to prior academic achievements. When it comes to consecutive programmes, pursued as an extension or specialisation within the major programme, the willingness of students to enroll in teacher training is related to their secondary school achievements, but also – and in a distinct way – to their early experience at the university. In the case of STEM and foreign language programmes, we observe adverse selection to teacher training with respect to either the student’s pre-university academic outcomes or their achievements during the first year of university studies

The present study examines the history of German-language teacher training since appearance of the Ratio Educationis (1777) till the end of the 19. century. A systemic review of regulations, laws and curricula enable an examination of the changes in teacher training institutions, including the language of instruction in teacher training. 2019 marked the two-hundredth anniversary of elementary-level teacher training for the German minority in Hungary. The most important historical sources of this study, which will be examined in this qualitative research analysis, are curricula, educational laws and regulations as well as textbooks and timetables, in addition to the review of related publications. An in-depth look of the documents makes it possible to follow the continuously changing attitudes toward minority teacher training throughout the different epochs of Hungarian education.

W referacie przedstawiono metodykę szkolenia szybowcowego młodzieży stosowaną przez instruktorów pracujących z młodzieżą w rejonie jeleniogórskim. Omówiona została koncepcja stworzenia na bazie: istniejących historycznych obiektów, doświadczonej kadry instruktorów, działających ośrodków dydaktycznych centrum dydaktyczno-szkoleniowego, przeznaczonego do uczenia i szkolenia młodzieży Euroregionu Nysa w dziedzinie techniki lotniczej i szybownictwa oraz kształcenia na poziomie wyższym w specjalnościach lotniczych.
The paper presents a methodology for training glider used by the instructors working with youth people in the region of Jelenia Góra. Discusses the concept of creation educational and training center based on: existing historical facilities, experienced staff of instructors, existing learning centers, dedicated to learning and training of youth people in the area of the Euroregion Neisse in gliding aviation and providing hirer education in the specialties of aviation.

Return On Training is a hot topic among training professionals. The purpose of this paper is to present a stochastic simulation model developed for estimating and predicting monetary return on investment in corporate training. The article highlights new opportunities and challenges brought to the higher education institutions and business schools by internationalization and globalization. This study points out the weaknesses of the traditional criteria for measuring success and performance of education institution and offers Return On Training (ROT) as an advanced yardstick for measuring and benchmarking training programs outcomes. The research covers the key aspects of computer-based simulation modeling, underlines its advantages, proposes theoretical framework for studying ROT and finally comes up with a mathematical formula for calculating ROT that can be easily implemented as a computer software application.

W przedsiębiorstwach obserwuje się wzrost poziomu świadomości i akceptacji konieczności zwiększenia wolumenu i intensywności nakładów na edukację i szkolenia pracowników. Wspomniane zjawisko wynika z faktu, że w starzejących się społeczeństwach Europy, przy intensywnym postępie technologicznym i organizacyjnym pojawia się fenomen rozszerzenia zakresu i długości aktywności zawodowej oraz rozbudowę oczekiwań pracowników odnośnie jakości życia. Wzrostowi poziomu akceptacji konieczności zwiększenia nakładów na edukację i szkolenia pracowników towarzyszą nowe wyzwania, polegające głównie na konieczności przedefiniowania podejścia do finansowania i oceny wyników. Efektywnościowy punkt widzenia, przy ocenie celowości nakładów na edukację i szkolenia w przedsiębiorstwie rodzi konieczność odejścia od tradycyjnego systemu finasowania zasobów i przejście do proefektywnościowo zorientowanego finansowania efektów. Innymi słowy, zamiast dotychczasowego płacenia za uczenie, firmy chcą płacić za nauczenie. Oznacza to, że finansujący edukację i szkolenia oceniając szkolenie zadaje pytanie o poprawę efektywności firmy; o to, na ile wzrost kwalifikacji pracowników ułatwia osiąganie celów organizacji. Z drugiej strony, ocena od strony uczestników zawiera pytanie o skuteczność działań oferenta przedsięwzięć edukacyjnych i szkoleniowych. Dotychczasowa praktyka polegała na tym, że często ocena efektywności i skuteczności treningu nie wychodziła poza ankietowy pomiar poziomu satysfakcji i samooceny uczestników. To powoduje, że obserwuje się presję ilościową, której towarzyszy niedostateczna troska jakościowa oraz nieumiejętność stosowania nowoczesnych technik pomiaru efektu kształcenia. W efekcie, wielu przedsiębiorców traktuje szkolenia i edukację swoich pracowników, jako koszt i zakłócenie funkcjonowania. Jest to spowodowane tym, że nie widać bezpośredniego efektu inwestycji w przyszły rozwój firmy. Dodatkowo, obserwuje się obawę menedżerów przed zagrożeniami w postaci roszczeń płacowych, ucieczki wyszkolonych pracowników do firm konkurentów, lub nadmiernego usamodzielnienia pracownika. W opracowaniu zaprezentowano i przedyskutowano nowoczesne techniki pomiaru efektywności nakładów na edukację i szkolenia. Lista metod obejmuje analizę opartą o cele, ocenę ukierunkowaną, ocenę systemową, ocenę sądową, oraz ocenę poprzedzającą program.
The level of awareness and acceptance of the need to enhance volume and intensity of investment in education and in-house training is increasing. This phenomenon stems from the following facts: the aging of the European societies; an intense technological and organizational progress; and a noticeable process of extension of the scope and length of professional and personal development and activity; accompanied with employees' expectations for better quality of life. The increase in the level of acceptance of the need for increased investment in education and training of employees is accompanied by new challenges, including, in the first place, the need to redefine the approach to investment in training and to the evaluation of its results. The „High-Efficiency‟ point of view, alongside the assessment of the advisability of investment in education and training within a company, raises the need to move away from the traditional system of input oriented financing (i.e. financing resources) and to move towards output oriented funding (i.e. financing results). In other words, instead of paying for teaching, companies want to pay for teaching results. This means that the companies which finance education and training, rise - in the process of assessing the training results – fundamental questions about the improvement of the efficiency of the company; and how an increase in the qualifications of workers facilitates the achievement of organizational objectives. On the other hand, the training results assessment from the participant‟s point of view includes a question about the efficiency of the supplier of educational and training programs, and whether the supplier is able to achieve the promised results. The existing business reality is that the efficiency and effectiveness assessments often do not go beyond the survey measuring the level of satisfaction and self-esteem of the participants. This, in turn, causes a visible quantitative pressures, accompanied by insufficient care for quality and inability to use modern techniques to measure the impact of education and training on business performance. As a result, many entrepreneurs treat the investment in training and education of their employees solely as an expense and a disruption of operations. This is due to the fact that managers do not see a direct effect of the investments on the performance of the company. In addition, managers fear possible hazards in the form of expense claims; loss of trained personel to competitors‟ companies, or excessive self-empowerment of the employee. The study is devoted to presentation and discussion of modern techniques measuring the effectiveness of investment in education and training. The list of methods includes an analysis based on objectives, the targeted evaluation, systemic evaluation, judicial evaluation, and assessment prior to the program.

Opis:
The reforms of the initial vocational education in Poland (1999, 2012, and 2017–2019) placed learning outcomes in the centre of attention, strengthened work-based learning, introduced a forecast for the labour market demand for graduates, and launched a graduate monitoring system. However, several challenges remain, such as the low level of students’ general skills and inadequate funding. Recent surveys and the newly developed graduate monitoring system based on administrative data show that vocational education is heterogeneous. In addition to the differences in educational and labour market status by type of school, the situation of juvenile workers in the dual system differs from the situation of other students of sectoral schools. The educational and labour market experiences also vary by sector of training.

Traditional concept of seafarers’ training was based upon theoretical teaching in class room followed by the practical training onboard ship. This concept underwent profound changes in 80s due economic and practical reasons emanating from new face of the marine industry. Simulator based training had obvious advantages of being economical, safe and redundant. But it had its own implications as well. How perfect a simulator may be, it still was far away from real ship experiences. Instructor became more and more important and he is actually responsible to connect up the simulator experience with real ship experiences through his visualization and does not let the trainee get into a discourse or fall into a game mood. This study examines how the importance of simulator instructor is on the rise and present tools available for the qualification of the simulator instructors need to be augmented with new measures so as to ensure the quality of the simulator based training of the seafarers.

Maritime Safety and Security on board ships very much depends on well trained crews. That is why training and exercising emergency response procedures as well as efficiency in reliable management are extremely necessary. On the other hand research as well as technological development in safety and security, tools and other kinds of technical and organizational systems contribute to further improvement and guarantee high levels of safety and security in maritime transportation. Simulation facilities are essential for both exercising and training but also for research and technological development. This paper introduces the innovative concept of a safety and security training simulator (SST7) and describes research work related to the implementation of training scenarios. Selected results of a case study will be presented. A shorter version of this paper was originally presented at the International Conference on “Marine Navigation and Safety of Sea Transportation” at Gdynia in June 2013.

The article specifies the scope of specialist training in the Polish Navy, taking into account the transformation of the security environment. In the author’s understanding, this system consists of both schools educating officers and a training process carried out in a military unit, supplemented by exercises and various forms of supplementary education. Its thematic scope, apart from general knowledge, should result from the specifics of the national security policy, conditions for conducting activities under the cooperative system (military alliances, ad hoc coalitions and regional arrangements) and the adopted concept of the development of armed forces and their technical equipment. In the case of marine forces, additional factors affecting the shape of the training system include international requirements concerning the scope of specialist knowledge of sea workers and the specificity of independent operation on sea areas, requiring the ability to make a decision with a limited impact on the final shape of the high-level command. For this reason, the article does not fully address the scope of general training and the level of maritime training, since the application of the STCW Convention requirements is a basic requirement. On the other hand, with reference to combat training, it was considered that during the study the future officers of the Polish Armed Forces should only become acquainted with the principles of conducting combat operations of naval forces, equipment and weapons and command elements, and practical skills – should be successively acquired as part of training activities in military units and specialist courses. This is defined by the way of organizing the training system in the Polish Armed Forces, which should be divided into three stages. The proposed solutions are the original concept of not only the training process at the Polish Armed Forces, but a vision of using the potential of naval forces to implement the policy of the state, in which the training system plays a significant role.
W artykule określono zakres szkolenia specjalistycznego w Marynarce Wojennej RP uwzględniający przeobrażenia środowiska bezpieczeństwa. W rozumieniu autora system ten tworzą zarówno uczelnie kształcące kadry oficerskie, jak i realizowany w jednostce wojskowej proces szkolenia, uzupełniany przez ćwiczenia oraz różnorodne formy kształcenia dodatkowego. Jego zakres tematyczny, poza wiedzą ogólną, wynikać powinien ze specyfiki narodowej polityki bezpieczeństwa, uwarunkowań prowadzenia działań w ramach systemu kooperacyjnego (sojusze wojskowe, koalicje ad hoc i układy regionalne) oraz przyjętej koncepcji rozwoju sił zbrojnych i ich wyposażenia technicznego. W przypadku sił morskich dodatkowymi czynnikami wpływającymi na kształt systemu szkolenia są: międzynarodowe wymogi dotyczące zakresu wiedzy specjalistycznej pracowników morza oraz specyfika samodzielnego działania na akwenach morskich, wymagająca umiejętności podjęcia decyzji przy ograniczonym wpływie na jej ostateczny kształt dowództwa wyższego szczebla. Z tego względu w artykule nie odniesiono się w pełni do zakresu szkolenia ogólnego oraz poziomu wyszkolenia morskiego, gdyż stosowanie Konwencji STCW i tzw. dobrej praktyki morskiej oraz umiejętność obsługi sprzętu w przypadku załóg okrętów jest wymogiem podstawowym, gwarantującym bezpieczeństwo ich zdrowia i życia. Natomiast w odniesieniu do szkolenia bojowego uznano, iż w trakcie studiów przyszli oficerowie MW RP powinni jedynie zapoznać się z zasadami prowadzenia działań bojowych rodzajów sił morskich, obsługą urządzeń i uzbrojenia oraz elementami dowodzenia, a praktyczne umiejętności sukcesywnie nabywać w ramach działalności szkoleniowej w jednostkach wojskowych oraz na kursach specjalistycznych. Określa to sposób organizacji systemu szkolenia w MW RP, który powinien być podzielony na trzy etapy. Zaproponowane rozwiązania są autorską koncepcją nie tylko procesu szkolenia w MW RP, ale także wizji wykorzystania potencjału sił morskich do realizacji polityki państwa, w których system ten odgrywa istotną rolę.

At the moment in Poland, specialised dispositional groups such as the armed forces, the police, and various guards and other services are constituted. The fundamental tool that the state has at its disposal to counteract potential threats to internal security and public order, and to react appropriately to existing threats is a separate body — the police. The main objective of this paper is to define the practical benefits which can be gained as a result of organising cooperation between the police units mentioned above in an appropriate way. This paper is an attempt to present practical cooperation between a local police unit and the Police Academy in Szczytno. It also points out the distinct nature of functioning of the Regional Police Headquarters in Katowice and its dependent units; it describes the impact that cooperation with an educational institution has on the quality of preserving public security and order as well as the practical aspect of such cooperation on the example of the organisational units of the Polish National Police specified above.

Acute vestibular syndrome is a syndrome of clinical symptoms associated with sudden damage to the periphery of the vestibular organ. The most important element in the treatment of patients with vestibular syndrome is motor rehabilitation, which is beneficial for central compensatory processes. The aim of the study was to compare the effectiveness of two methods of rehabilitation (training habituation versus sensory conflicts) in patients after vestibular neuronitis and vestibular neurectomy. The material includes the results of the overall balance of the Sensory Organization Test and subjective assessment of the severity of dizziness before and after rehabilitation performed by various methods. Twenty subjects after vestibular neuritis (Group I) and 20 patients after vestibular neurectomy (Group II) were included in the study. In group I, the patients were admitted to the Otolaryngology Clinic Medical University of Warsaw Emergency Room with the diagnosis of vestibular neuritis. In group II, patients had vestibular neurectomy due to Meniere disease with strong untreated vertigo. Both types of rehabilitation lead to a significant improvement in the overall balance of the Sensory Organization Test and subjective assessment of the severity of vertigo irrespective of the extent of injury in the vestibular organ. Better results were obtained in the group after vestibular neuritis treated with sensory conflicts.

The article presents the results of research on the training needs of salesmen working in retail trade (300 people, 295 women, 5 men). The research was conducted throughout Poland in the period September 2019 - December 2020. The research used interview questionnaires and PAPI surveys.

The aim of the existing case study was to investigate the implications of applyingcomputers to teaching interpreting to students who were not foreign language majors. Someresearchers argued that interpreting courses are very difficult, so they should be offered to qualifiedpost-graduate students instead of undergraduate students. However, most undergraduate programsin Taiwan offer interpretation courses. In addition, in China two-semester interpreter trainingcourses have even been offered to most undergraduate students who were not foreign languagemajors. Furthermore, computers have been widely used in interpreter training, but no research hasbeen available that investigated how to apply computer assisted interpreter training (CAIT) toteaching interpreting to students who are not foreign language majors. Qualitative research methodshave been used to collect and analyze the data to complete the report in this study. Participantsconsisted of the author and the 18 students, who were not foreign language majors, taking acomputer assisted interpreter training course that the author offered in a university in Taipei,Taiwan, in 2009. The results of the study indicated that CAIT may be developed into IM (theinterpretation method) of foreign language teaching to teach students who are not foreign languagemajors.
Celem niniejszej pracy było zbadanie wpływu szkolenia wspomaganiego komputerowo na kandydatów na tłumaczy ustnych nie będących absolwentami studiów filologicznych.

The paper presents of Polish Military and Scuba Diving Training Centre (OSNiPWP). In organisation cases it is directly subordinated to the Commanding Officer of the Navy. In the Navy structures, within the framework of current training activities it is subordinated to the Deputy for Training.

The article relates to the issue of training candidates for the teacher profession. By referencing to the core of the competencies required for the teacher’s work in a changing school, the weakest areas, which are the source of the fear and anxiety of students completing teacher education, were identified. The sources of fears, as well as proposals for changes in education to the teaching profession, were compiled on the basis of research conducted among 187 candidates of the profession of teacher studying at universities in Malopolska (Lesser Poland Voivodeship).

National defence training of public administration personnel can be broadly defined as a set of activities undertaken at all levels of public administration, aimed at preparing staff to perform offi cial duties concerned with state defence. This paper opens with the presentation of essential areas of national defence training. The subsequent section provides an overview of implementations of national defence training at various levels of public administration and at Higher Universities. The final part of this analysis describes the assumptions of a new didactic framework of courses in defence for public administration and national authorities at the Faculty of National Security of War Studies University in Warsaw.

Present-day military vehicles are becoming more and more technologically advanced. The high-end technology in military vehicle it is not only information technology systems, telecommunication systems, weapon system, but there are also many changes of base chassis. Modern combat vehicles are well equipped with advanced more and driving systems and electronic control systems witch pushing the driver to better using of the vehicle performances. From the other side, because of great mass and the high level of centre of gravity it produce, that armoured vehicles should be only driven by very well trained driver. We have to remember also that trainings conducted to weapons systems in real conditions are very costly and they are connected with an increased risk level from security side. From that reasons, company Rosomak S.A. from few years has been implementing training solutions connected to the wide range of simulators. Solutions concerning both types of simulators: drivers systems and the weapon systems. They allow for increasing the quality of the training process, with is very important for Rosomak company, as manufacturer of armoured vehicle call KTO Rosomak. The article present statistical results of the training process with using the simulators from few last years' time and their influence on achieved results of trainings process. The article present projects concerned to simulators, which company Rosomak S.A. executing as their own projects and with cooperation with scientific institutions and research and developments companies. New prospects
Opis:
Institutional changes within universities and the challenge of EU enlargement present translator and interpreter trainers with both new opportunities and dilemmas. The major potential tension areas that must be addressed in the curricula include the status of retour translation and interpreting, the role of liaison interpreting in the curriculum, the separation of interpreter and translator training, and the focus on skills and techniques vs. background knowledge. The article suggests tentative solutions in these areas, based on the authors' own experience in curriculum design. The limitations and advantages of a postgraduate training programme within a foreignlanguage department are also discussed.

The Zurich and Schaffhausen Universities of Teacher Education have ideal conditions for integrating computer-mediated activities into English language and methodology courses. This article describes a number of face-to-face and online computer-based activities and argues that learners who live in close proximity can nevertheless benefit from participating in online activities. Examples from each setting that promote in-class or online communication as well as help to provide opportunities for improving learners’ language and content competence will be described. This article attempts to provide arguments for students to participate in - and thus instructors to host – learning opportunities in computer-mediated settings.

Background: Hyperbaric therapy is a relatively new non-invasive therapeutic method. It involves inhaling the patient with pure oxygen using a pressure of 2 to 3 absolute atmospheres (ATA). The main purpose of this therapy is to improve the healing mechanisms and repairing processes in the case of various types of wounds and diseases. While in medicine this method is quite popular, in sport it is rarely used today and if so than mainly for the purposes of faster return to full fitness of athletes after injuries or after heavy, intense training conditions. Case study: Two subjects took part in the experiment. Training sessions were performed based on the selected original set of exercises within 29 days. Experiment participant was under conditions of increased pressure (2.5 ATA), during the session he breathed 100% oxygen, provided by the individual respiratory system. The measurement of muscle strength level of selected muscle groups, in selected motor tasks was estimated in (maximum weight – which is the maximum external resistance defeated in one repetition). It was found that there were increases in the level of muscle strength in selected muscles groups in first participant as a result of the applied set of exercises (motor tasks) and the effect of the hyperbaric sessions. Conclusions: The results of the study show that there was a visible/significant influence of the hyperbaric session on increasing the muscle function based on strength training example. This method in combination with adequate strength training sessions could be used in many areas connected with psychomotor development of human abilities.

Aviation as a new weapon emerged at the beginning of the 20th century. The event that influenced its development was the course of the First World War. It was not the decisive factor in determining the fate of the war, however, its dynamic development in the final stage of the war could indicate its great importance in the future. The development of military aviation was the domain of the military authorities. The popularisation campaign and the development of appropriate flight training programs were entrusted to the civilian authorities. The establishment of appropriate organisations was needed to effectively engage the public in cooperation. Sport aviation and gliding excelled in preparing young people for service in airborne combat units and transport aviation. Their development in Europe in the inter-war period proceeded in two ways. The first was the creation of organisations by administrative orders, which took place in Germany, Russia and Italy. The second was the skilful use of social initiatives linked to aviation interests, appropriately coordinated by the state and supported by subsidies, as was the case in England and France. The purpose of the establishment of these organisations and activities was to popularise and train aviation in the widest circles of society and to prepare it for a possible airborne threat.

The quality system of a hotel is based on policies, standards and protocols, which must be put into practice and defined to exert constant improvement in the quality of the services offered in each of its departments; On the other hand, training involves providing all hotel staff with techniques to improve the quality of services and in the same way pro-vide human and economic growth to the company. The research aim is to analyze service quality and its relationship to worker training in a five-star HRHLC hotel; the case study of a hotel located in the tourist destination of Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S. in Mexico was used since it is an appropriate research design when one wishes to obtain concrete, contextual knowledge on a specific topic and allows one to explore the characteristics, key meanings and implications of the case. Information was collected through structured interviews and analysis of company reports. The results indicate that the hotel received an average rating of 8.8 regarding the perception of quality in service and customer attention, reflecting the fact that the hotel has an area of opportunity for improvement as being in a five-star category, the rating of quality service must be a minimum of 9.5. Regarding training, 100% of the staff received training on the use of the system, quality of service and safety and hygiene; 80% have been in the company for less than 6 months, reflecting the high staff turnover. In conclusion the five-star hotel and four-diamond chain needs to address areas of opportunity to improve the guests’ perception of quality and obtain the 9.5 rating that this category of hotel requires, as well as improve working conditions to increase staff retainment.

Recent years have witnessed particular awareness of, and societal demand for, professional ethics. Increasing emphasis is being placed on the importance of including ethical considerations in university education, and on the decisive role played by universities in achieving rounded professional development. The ethical aspects of professional practice are seen to be essential for producing competent, effective professionals. The presented research addresses this issue in the context of aspiring professionals currently undergoing training, and aims to determine their attitudes and perceptions in response to certain key ethical issues. To this end, a mixed research methodology (first qualitative, and subsequently quantitative) was employed. The results reveal important pedagogical issues to be taken into account when designing professional training programmes, in line with the current trajectory of university didactics.

The objective of the study was to test the Apriori algorithm of classification for obtaining training components that are connected with one another in the strongest way, in athletic training of race walkers. The research conducted aims at determining the impact of short training on the trainee’s ability to detect deception with the use of non-instrumental methods of detection of deception. As the criminal procedure permits such methods of detection of deception, the results of the research are practical. The research was carried out on a group of participants given the task to watch a video recording and conclude whether the person presented told the truth or lied. Subsequently, the participants were given a short training on both verbal and non-verbal deception cues, illustrated with examples taken from the video they had watched. In the second leg of the test, the participants watched another video and decided whether the person presented was truthful or deceptive (on the grounds of deception cues they spotted). The results showed that the training improved participants’ ability to detect deception by c. 22%.

This text is a short version of a research process that is part of preparation for a doctorate thesis at the Wroclaw University Pedagogic Institute. In her article the author points out the need for a scientific analysis of the ways of development and efficiency of initiation, developing, and support of creativity in academic education. According to her, one of the most innovative strategies of developing creativity strategies is creativity training. Therefore she made Wroclaw University conversational courses on creative action and thinking the object of her investigation. The main aim of the investigation is to show the practical use of this educational form in academic education and to attempt to asses it. Another investigation goal of the author is to test a popular in the world, but rarely used in Polish pedagogy, empirical research model called action research. In the work presented the author gives her reasons for her choice of the subject, presents the aim and object of the research, the main thesis and she points to predictable, realistic results of the undertaken study.

Artykuł prezentuje problematykę akademickiego kształcenia nauczycieli języków obcych w trzech różnych systemach edukacyjnych. Ukazuje ją w kontekście kultury edukacji oraz kultury szkoły, przedstawiając ich wpływ na sposób organizacji i realizacji procesów kształcenia. Szkoła i generalnie edukacja, w tym także uniwersyteckie przygotowanie do zawodu nauczycielskiego to miejsce rozbudowywania tzw. kapitału społecznego. Refleksja nad tym, jak wyglądają te procesy, odgrywa kluczową rolę dla planowania i realizowania efektywnych działań edukacyjnych, także z wykorzystaniem tzw. dobrych praktyk każdego z systemów. W odniesieniu do koncepcji badań porównawczych, analizom komparatystycznym poddane zostają wyznaczniki pedeutologiczne kształcenia nauczycieli i nauczycielek w Iranie, Niemczech i Polsce. Ramą porównawczą są zaś europejskie standardy kształcenia nauczycieli.
This article discusses the issues of academic education of foreign language teachers in three different educational systems. It presents them in the context of education culture and school culture, showing their influence on the way of organization and realization of education processes. School and education in general, including university preparation for the teaching profession is a place of developing so-called social capital. Reflection on the way these processes operate plays a key role in the planning and implementation of effective educational activities, using the so-called good practices of each of the systems. In the comparative research, the teacher training programmes in Iran, Germany and Poland are subject to comparative analysis against the framework of European standards for teacher education.

W pracy przedstawiono metodę i wyniki badań prędkości pojazdów w aspekcie wydatkowania ich energii kinetycznej podczas zawodowego szkolenia kierowców. Analizę oparto o obliczenia statystyczne odpowiednio dużej liczby obwiedni oscylogramu prędkości dobowego zapisu tachograficznego. Miejscem przeprowadzanych badań była miejska infrastruktura (powiatowa).
The paper presents a method and the results of the investigation of the vehicles' speed in the aspect of spending its kinetic energy while professional training the drivers. The analysis was based on statistical calculations of suitably large number of the oscillogram of a tachographic recording. The municipal district infrastructure was the place where the investigations were carried out.

Omówiono modelową strukturę pojedynczej sesji treningu, metody i techniki specyficzne dla treningu umiejętności społecznych oraz czynniki warunkujące jego skuteczność.
This article considers the problem of training which are developing and improving competences for social workers, people who are unemployed, threatened by unemployment and social exclusion. It presents social skills training as a form of raising this skills in behavioral term. It shows a model structure of single training session, methods and techniques which are specific for social skills training and factors conditioning its effectiveness.

Background. Experts note the low level of physical fitness of female students. Fitness programs that balance the development of cardiorespiratory and strength fitness level are necessary in the physical education practice of students. The purpose of this study is to compare effectiveness of two exercise programs in terms of strength endurance and cardiorespiratory of female students in physical education. Material and Methods. Female students (n=36) practicing fitness-aerobics (G-1) and resistance training (G-2) participated in the research. All students participated in 52 training sessions. The students (G-1) practiced step aerobics with strength training combination. The students (G-2) practiced resistance training with Kangoo-Jumps fitness combination. The level of cardiorespiratory and strength fitness was studied using tests: VC, Stange test, Step test (PWC170), Running test, Push-Up test and others. Results. Students (G-1) had a reliable advantage in test results: VC, Stange test, Step test (PWC170), Running test, at the research beginning. Students (G-2) showed significantly better results in tests: Burpee test, Push-Up test and Stange test at the end of research. Reliable differences in tests: Plank test and Heart Rate in favor of female students (G-2) were revealed. The results of other functional tests did not differ significantly. Conclusions. The possible effectiveness of aerobic fitness training Kangoo-Jumps in resistance training of female students was discovered. A significant increase in the indicators of strength endurance and cardiorespiratory fitness of young women was revealed.

Analysis of the conducted pedagogical experiment specifies primary areas for improving the implementation of complex pedagogical conditions for creating culture of thinking, regarding interrelations between its components: knowledge, abilities, motivation, thinking and emotional intelligence.

No study has compared sling exercise training with elastic band resistance training in healthy older adults. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine whether different effects on functional mobility, strength and balance ability were produced by using different devices (sling trainer and elastic bands). Twenty-four participants were assigned to two different training groups, INT (TRX-OldAge) and CON (elastic bands). Participants trained three times per week for 30 minutes for 12 weeks. The Multisurface Obstacle Test for Older Adults (MSOT) and the 1-repetition maximum test using the chest press and the leg press were performed to assess functional mobility and dynamic strength, respectively. To examine balance ability, data of body-worn sensors and a force plate measured during different standing positions have been investigated. A main time effect occurred for functional mobility (p = 0.009) with a significant improvement within INT (p = 0.044), and for the chest press (p = 0.017) with a significant improvement within INT (p = 0.019). However, there was no group-by-time interaction in any of the measured parameters. Compared to elastic band resistance training, TRX-OldAge induced similar effects on the functional mobility, strength and balance ability of healthy older adults.

This study is aimed at analysing the variability of oxygen parameters in subsequent annual training cycles at championship training level in mountain running. The study employed the following indirect methods: the Astrand Test, Conconi Running Test, and also a direct method (Bruce Test). Research material is a young, talented 28-year-old athletic mountain runner. Research results were obtained within 4-5 years period, which were as follows: VO2max 83-90ml/kg/min - increased on average to 2-3 ml / kg / min per year, HR max 172-177 beats / min, PPA 158-169 beats / min. The case study was carried out within the framework of longitudinal research and was used to collect data for the formulation of a specific exercise profile in a new, dynamic sports discipline. The research aims to serve as an example of a novel method of conducting training microcycles to the cyclic lifting aerobic capacity athletes.

Lessons learned from analysis of modern conflicts and post-conflict lessons have revealed the acute need to review the current training programmes in order to adopt them to modern challenges in the field of peacekeeping. Multidimensional operations run under the auspices of the UN or NATO are not aimed at purely military gain anymore, but follow the comprehensive approach in dealing with conflict and post-conflict societies. A complex emergency environment sets a range of tasks for the modern peacekeeper, focusing more and more on dealing with humanitarian issues. Gender awareness is one of the newest and most challenging questions, both during the pre-deployment training of a future peacekeeper and the aftermath during his or her performance in the mission area. Thus, raising this awareness in pre-deployment training will increase the overall efficiency of the personnel during their tour of duty. This paper deals with the ways of implementing gender training into already set pre-deployment training programmes and shows the strategies for integrating it into the lectures without disrupting the overall training methodology.

The main objective of the article is to present the results of the evaluation carried out among participants of a specialist training course for police operations commanders which was offered by the Police Academy in Szczytno in 2014–2019. The course in question uses a police operations simulator as a modern technology tool for responding to emergencies. Both the functionality of the simulator and a modern form of simulation training, which has replaced the previous theoretical work based on paper maps, have completely changed the methods employed for in-service training, thanks to which teaching outcomes can be achieved more effectively, and police offi cers’ skills can be developed and refi ned with practice. The use of the police operations simulator for training purposes improves police command and control systems and increases the level of in-service training received by commanding offi cers, which in turn results in an effective management of human and material resources while carrying out police operations targeted at the maintenance of public order and safety at major events, including sports events, public gatherings and ceremonies, and any different forms of disturbance to public order. Evaluated have been the following issues: assessment of the training course curriculum, the knowledge and practical skills acquired during the course, and the level of satisfaction of the respondents with their participation in the course. Of key importance has been to identify the extent to which the Police Academy’s training efforts and research projects in the area of internal security affect the development of the system of in-service training offered to police officers.

In the field of education, the importance of active learning as a more effective educational method has recently been noted. The element of active learning was introduced to the anchoring training of the training ship for third-year students of Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, and its effects have been verified. The learning effect of training was confirmed by the questionnaire results of the students. Moreover, the self-evaluations of student and evaluation of instructor confirmed the skill of grasping a ship's position with improved accuracy and learning effects. Self-evaluation and evaluation by the other student, which were introduced as the element of active learning, both demonstrated a positive learning effect. Furthermore, since an effective training method was examined, a result is reported.

The article addresses the problem of modern maritime education and training in the perspective of computer technologies development, especially the internet. Computer-based training is being a standard for the maritime industry for almost 25 years, but there is still no unified approach on the use of this teaching method in MET. Authors suggest to open a conversation on harmonization of standards regarding CBT in the industry and wider implementation of this teaching method into STCW training process via a blended learning approach, where theoretical part of the course may be taken online, while the practical part is taken in the training facility.

The conceptual foundations of the theory and practice of the professional formation of the personality in the system of special education are substantiated. The essence of the given training is considered in various ways, on the basis of which its qualitative and classification characteristics, levels and systemic and structural components are determined; the content, organizational and pedagogical conditions and criteria for assessing the levels of formation of these components aredefined.The following components of professional training are defined: professional and motivational, cognitive and competence, operational and active, productive and reflexive. It is indicated that the given structural components are interrelated, interdependent and complementary to each other. Theoretical paradigm is scientifically substantiated, the structural-functional, organizational-didactic model of the system of professional training in the field of special education is developed and tested and the dynamics of the formation of its components according to the results of the implementation of this system is highlighted. Particular attention is paid to finding and developing of the optimal set of methods of its providing, developing programs and definition of developed program’s efficiency. The practical results of scientists’ work in defining spheres are analyzed. The results of the experimental study of the components of the professional readiness to work on a specialty are highlighted. The prospects for further research in the context of improving professional training in the field of special education are outlined.

The need for technical graduates to undergo constant professional development is largely a result of formal requirements, but education is necessary in view of the rapid progress of knowiedge and technology. "Post-graduate training", meaning education for persons who have completed degrees, is a necessary condition for the maintenance of one's professional position, and particularly for professional or academic advancement. It is relevant to cite the old Roman maxim disce aut discede - "learn or leave".

W artykule podjęto próbę charakterystyki i oceny elementów tworzących system kształcenia nauczycieli w Polsce. Ukazano w nim między innymi: instytucje kształcące kandydatów do zawodu nauczyciela, realia funkcjonowania tych placówek, zasady rekrutacji adeptów sztuki nauczania, założenia i pragmatykę doskonalenia zawodowego nauczycieli. Przeprowadzona analiza pozwoliła wskazać kilka dość istotnych mankamentów w strukturze i funkcjonowaniu opisywanego systemu.
The paper deals with some aspects of teacher training system in Poland. It shows, among others, organizations providing training for future teachers, conditions of work of these organizations, rules of recruitment to the teaching profession, assumptions and realities of teacher improvement training. The analysis done indicates a few significant shortcomings in the structure and functioning of the system described.

Obesity is an illness characterised by pathological increase of fat tissue and it is detrimental to health, life expectancy and psychophysical efficiency. People of excessive body mass and larger amount of fat than people of lower body mass, are physiologically less efficient and their locomotive potential is lower. In obese adults fat cells increase their size. Whereas in children, we observe the increase in number of fat cells, which causes obesity in adulthood since the process is irreversible. It often happens that parents do not perceive increased body mass in their children as a health problem until obesity is substantial. This increases the importance of health services in prevention, which may be oriented on properly prepared fitness clubs. General rules applied on the amount of health-oriented training in adults, children and teenagers are similar. Training differs in length, frequency and intensity. Fitness trainings are mostly endurance exercises on cardio equipment, aimed mostly at activating and reduction of the excessive fat tissue. Another form of exercise should be strength training on isotonic equipment. The choice of exercises, their intensity and the patient’s progress should be carefully monitored, as well as the range of HR of each endurance and strength training. Complementarily, flexibility training is proposed, in form of individually chosen exercises.
Otyłość jest chorobą określaną jako patologiczne zwiększenie ilości tkanki tłuszczowej, która w nadmiernej ilości wpływa negatywnie na stan zdrowia, długość życia i sprawność psychofizyczną. Osoby z nadmierną masą ciała, w której zawartość tłuszczu stanowi proporcjonalnie wysoki odsetek, w porównaniu z osobami o niższej masie ciała są fizjologicznie mniej wydolni, a ich potencjał motoryczny jest niższy. W otyłości u osób dorosłych dochodzi przede wszystkim do zwiększenia rozmiarów komórek tłuszczowych. W przypadku dzieci obserwujemy przyrost liczby komórek tłuszczowych, które mogą się przyczynić do rozwoju otyłości w wieku dorosłym, gdyż zwiększenie liczby komórek jest procesem nieodwracalnym. Często rodzice aż do momentu wystąpienia znacznej otyłości nie postrzegają nadmiernej masy ciała dziecka w kategoriach problemu zdrowotnego. Istotna staje się więc rola służby zdrowia w prowadzeniu działań prewencyjnych, skierowanych na działania np. fitness clubów odpowiednio przygotowanych do podejmowania tego typu zadań. Ogólnie przyjęte zasady dawkowania ćwiczeń w treningu zdrowotnym fitness osób dorosłych oraz dzieci i młodzieży są podobne. Różnią się czasem trwania, częstotliwością podejmowania aktywności oraz stosowanymi obciążeniami. Treningi fitness obejmują głównie wytrzymałościowe formy ćwiczeń, takie jak ćwiczenia aerobowe na urządzeniach typu cardio mające za zadanie przede wszystkim uaktywnić i zredukować nadmiar tkanki tłuszczowej. Inną formą zajęć usprawniających powinny być ćwiczenia oporowe uwzględniające stosowanie urządzeń izotonicznych. Należy przy tym zwrócić szczególną uwagę na dobór ćwiczeń, obciążenie oraz kontrolę postępów. Równocześnie zaleca się stosowanie monitoringu zakresów HR każdej sesji treningu aerobowego i oporowego. Jako uzupełnienie proponowane są ćwiczenia gibkościowe wykonywane jako ćwiczenia indywidualne.

Higher military education is nowadays undergoing numerous changes due to the “Concept of the development of higher military education in 2017-2026” adopted in 2016. The following article looks at the planned modifications in the context of training aviation personnel for the needs of the Air Force. The “Training military pilots” section discusses the process of training candidates to be military pilots, the main problems related to it as well as the nature of the system of training and educating the cadets of the Polish Air Force University. The considerations in the next section of the article concern the selection of candidates for military pilots. The recruitment, consisting of several stages, aims to efficiently identify the best candidates for service in aviation. The screening training, the aim of which is to check the predispositions of candidates for serving as pilots, is a novelty in this process. The chapter “Selection” looks at the solutions applied so far in the School of Eaglets, and also analyses the benefits of the new recruitment method. The final sections of the article concern the profile of the graduates of the Polish Air Force University, their target skills and the development plans of the University in the face of the challenges posed.
