Opis:: If we want to make sure wewill find qualified and effective help in a time of need, it is important to have quality social services which correspond withreal needs of their recipiens. Appropriate instrument for providing quality services are standards of quality of socialservices. Entering the third millenium, Slovakia started to talk about quality of social services, managing the quality and standardization. There have been established new systems of managing the quality in practice. Significant milestone in providing socialsservices in Slovakia is Act No. 448/2008 Coll. on social services. It discusses requirements about the quality, which should be respected by providers of social services about control of the quality about conditions of providing socialservices and about criterias of evaluation. Therefore, the question on the spot is whether standard social services are properly developed by their providers and how their implementation in practice reflects on satisfaction of recipients, namely the quality of their life. Quality of life can be understood as difference between expectations and what one actually accomplishes in life. The small erthedifference, the better the quality of life.

Opis:: Przedmiotem publikacji są wymagania prawne stawiane budowie i eksploatacji przydomowych oczyszczalni ścieków. Publikacja składa się z dwóch części. W drugiej części artykułu wskazano ograniczenia wynikające m.in. z miejscowych planów zagospodarowania przestrzennego, odnośnie budowy przydomowych oczyszczalni ścieków. Zaprezentowano wymagania techniczne jakie należy spełnić przy lokalizowaniu indywidualnej oczyszczalni w obrębie działki budowlanej. Przedstawiono standardy jakości ścieków oczyszczonych wprowadzanych z przydomowych oczyszczalni do wód lub do ziemi z uwzględnieniem wymagań jakie należy spełnić w zależności od ich położenia (w obrębie lub poza aglomeracją). Podano przypadki, w których wymagane jest zgłoszenie eksploatacji przydomowej oczyszczalni ścieków do wójta, burmistrza lub prezydenta miasta. Stwierdzono, że część przydomowych oczyszczalni ścieków, szczególnie tych położonych na terenie aglomeracji, może nie spełniać współczesnych wymogów skuteczności oczyszczania ścieków odprowadzanych do wód, urządzeń wodnych lub ziemi. W pierwszej część (Jawecki i in. 2016) przedstawiono definicję oraz główne rodzaje przydomowych oczyszczalni ścieków, wymagane pozwolenia, a także przypadki, w których możliwa jest budowa przydomowej oczyszczalni ścieków.
The main aims of the paper are legal requirements demanding to construction and operation of domestic treatment plants. The publication consists of two parts. In these part of article (2nd part) the limitation arising a.i. from local development plans, water protection zones, according to constructions of domestic wastewater treatment plants are pointed. Technical requirements that should be met by locating domestic wastewater treatment plant in real property area are presented. The standards of treated wastewater quality, discharged into water or soil including the requirements to be met depending of location (in or out of agglomeration) are shown. Additionally, cases in which operating application of domestic wastewater treatment plant to the mayor is required, are listed. It was concluded, that part of the domestic wastewater treatment plants, especially those located in agglomeration area, will not met present requirements of the effectiveness of wastewater treatment discharged into surface water, water facilities or soil. In the first part of article (Jawecki i in. 2016) the definition and basic types of domestic wastewater treatment plants was described, required permissions, as well as cases in which it is possible the construction of domestic wastewater treatment plants.

Opis:: The article summarizes the results of the pilot study on the implementation of the model of information and communication competencies of the university teaching staff that was conducted at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, Ukraine, and describes the basic stages of the research and the conditions of an effective implementation of the model. The article examines ways of improving the quality of higher education in Ukraine in the context of European quality standards for university educational space. The European standards and guidelines are considered in relation to internal quality assurance. The author examines the model of ICT competencies of teaching and research stuff and describes structural components of this model: motivational target component, organizational and procedural com- ponent, contents and operational and technological component, diagnostic and effective components. The article suggests tools to measure the level of educators’ formation in the ICT competence of teaching and research stuff. The tools are considered in accordance with the form activities of teaching and research stuff. The tools are formed in accordance with the recommendations of UNESCO Standards and Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area, namely: understanding and awareness of the role of ICT in education, and basic use of ICT tools.

When Poland joined the European Union, our market became an element of the common European market – manufacturers launch their products onto the Union market, which is conditioned by the fulfillment of administrative requirements included in the directives of the new approach. Goods, which are subject to the directives, prior to being launched have to fulfil their requirements and bear CE marking. A product subject to a few directives has to fulfil the requirements of all of these directives.

Opis:: The contemporary of an institutional – educational instytucions function in reality a dynamically developing civilization. This means that in terms of institutional education, didactic and educational workalready at preschool level, there has been a need for proactive change. In the area of substantive content, they relate, inter alia, reform of the existing and implementation of the new core curriculum. Therefore, the question arises about the nature of the criterion of introduced transformation. For it seems that the modern times, and the requirements of both institutions and individuals, have led to the need to assess educational institutions in terms of the quality of their structural and substantive work. Hence, the aim of this paper is to draw attention to the quality of work of the nursery. The tangible for effect of its proper functioning is to provide quality education so that every child is developing on the best of their abilities. Therefore, as a result of concern, the authors of this article, raised their problem of planned and thought out raising process the quality of work in preschool educational establishments.

Opis:: Introduction: The aim of presented study was to evaluate selected quality of life indicators for women treated surgically due to intertrochanteric femur fractures in terms of implementation of physiotherapeutic and nursing standards. Clinical Hospital in Krakow (5WSK) within the period from January 2015 to December 2016. At that time, 145 women with intertrochanteric femur fracture were admitted to the hospital. The age of the patients ranged between 58 and 92 years, with an average of 83.6 years. The following questionnaires and score scales were used to assess the quality of life: Short Pfeiffer Mental Status Questionnaire (SPMSQ), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) scale, SF-36 Quality of Life Questionnaire, Barthel scale, HOOS scale, Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) by Yesavage, the author’s questionnaire on rehabilitation care problems related to urinary tract infections, bed sores, pneumonia, gastrointestinal disorders, gastrointestinal infections and thromboembolic complications as well as survival rate. Results and conclusions: 1. The quality of life of women operated because of intertrochanteric femoral fractures using an intramedullary Gamma nail had deteriorated in both short and long-term observation. 2. Maintenance and individualization of nursing standards and rehabilitation in women treated surgically due to intertrochanteric femoral fractures had a positive effect on the overall process of their treatment. 3.The level of physical activity declared by women operated due to intertrochanteric femur fracture prior to the occurrence of these fractures, has a signifi cant effect on their functional results in short and long-term observation. The higher the level of physical activity of these patients before the fracture, the more favourable was the functional outcome. 4. The level of mood and self-acceptance of the disease in women treated surgically for this fracture had signifi cant impact on the process of their nursing as well as rehabilitation, and on functional status in short and long-term follow-up. The higher the level of mood and self-acceptance of the disease in these women, the better the process of their nursing, rehabilitation and the functional outcome.
Wstęp: Celem prezentowanych badań jest ocena wybranych wskaźników jakości życia kobiet leczonych operacyjnie z powodu złamań okołokrętarzowych kości udowej w aspekcie realizacji standardów opieki fizjoterapeutycznej i pielęgniarskiej. Materiał i metody: Badania zostały zrealizowane w Klinice Chirurgii Urazowej i Ortopedii 5 Wojskowego Szpitala Klinicznego z Polikliniką SP ZOZ w Krakowie (5WSK) w okresie od stycznia 2015 roku do grudnia 2016 roku. W tym czasie do Kliniki przyjęto 145 kobiet ze złamaniem okołokrętarzowym kości udowej. Wiek poszkodowanych mieścił się w przedziale 58 do 92 roku życia ze średnią 83,6 lat. Do oceny jakości życia zastosowano następujące kwestionariusze i skale ocen: Krótki Kwestionariusz Stanu Psychicznego według Pfeiffera (SPMSQ), Skala oceny złożonych czynności życia codziennego IADL, Kwestionariusz oceny jakości życia SF-36, Skala Barthel, Skala HOOS, Krótka skala depresji Yesavage (GDS), Kwestionariusz autorski dotyczący problemów pielęgnacyjnych rehabilitacyjnych związanych z wystąpieniem zakażeń dróg moczowych, odleżyn, zapalenia płuc, zaburzeń żołądkowo-jelitowych i zakażeń układu pokarmowego oraz powikłań zakrzepowo-zatorowych, Wskaźnik przeżywalności. Wyniki i wnioski: 1. Jakość życia kobiet operowanych z powodu złamań okołokrętarzowych kości udowej z zastosowaniem śródszpikowego gwoździa Gamma, zarówno we wczesnym jak i odległym okresie obserwacji klinicznej ulega pogorszeniu. 2. Przestrzeganie i indywidualizacja standardów postępowania pielęgnacyjnego i rehabilitacyjnego u kobiet leczonych operacyjnie z powodu złamań okołokrętarzowych kości udowej, wpływa korzystnie na przebieg całego procesu ich leczenia. 3. Deklarowany przez kobiety operowane z powodu złamań okołokrętarzowych kości udowej poziom aktywności fizycznej mający miejsce przed wystąpieniem tych złamań, ma istotny wpływ na uzyskane przez nie wyniki funkcjonalne w obserwacji wczesnej i odległej. Im wyższy poziom aktywności fi zycznej tych chorych przed wystąpieniem przedmiotowych złamań, tym korzystniejsze wyniki funkcjonalne. 4. Poziom nastroju i samoakceptacji choroby u kobiet leczonych operacyjnie z powodu złamań okołokrętarzowych kości udowej, ma istotny wpływ na proces ich pielęgnacji i rehabilitacji oraz na stan funkcjonalny w obserwacji wczesnej i odległej. Im wyższy poziom nastroju i samoakceptacji choroby u tych kobiet, tym korzystniejszy przebieg procesu ich pielęgnacji i rehabilitacji, a także stan funkcjonalny.

Opis:: Celem artykułu jest prezentacja rozwiązań w zakresie modelowania biznesu na podstawie wewnętrznych standardów jakości na przykładzie regionalnych szlaków kulinarnych. Sformułowano następujące pytania badawcze: w jakim zakresie modele biznesowe badanych szlaków oparto na wewnętrznych standardach jakościowych? Jakie obejmują one zakresy działań oraz czy można wskazać rozwiązania, które mogą stać się modelowymi dla innych regionalnych produktów turystycznych? Badaniami zostały objęte dwa szlaki kulinarne: „Śląskie Smaki” oraz „Smaczna Jura”. Przedstawione wyniki wskazują, że w analizowanych szlakach stworzony model biznesowy w szerokim zakresie opiera się na wewnętrznych standardach jakościowych i obejmuje elementy, takie jak: warunki wejścia i wyjścia, standardy jakości oraz sposób ich monitorowania, kontrolę i doskonalenie, sposób budowania marki oraz finansowania działalności szlaku, w tym określenie korzyści ekonomicznych i wizerunkowych podmiotów tworzących szlak. W artykule przedstawiono również kierunki rozwoju oraz ograniczenia dla przyjętego modelu biznesu.
The purpose of this article is to present solutions for modelling business based on internal quality standards on an example of regional culinary trails. The following research questions have been formulated in the paper: to what extent examined business models of food trails are based on internal quality standards, what ranges of activities they include and to what extend the model solutions can be identify and use for other regional tourist products. The following two regional tourist culinary products have been included in the research: the “Silesian Tastes” Culinary Route and the “Delicious Jura” Food Trail. The results indicate that examined routes have business models which are in a wide range based on internal quality standards and include elements such: conditions of entry and exit, quality standards and the way they are monitor, control and improve, the method of brand building and financing of the food trail, including the identification of economic and image benefits. The article also presents trends and constraints of the adopted business model.

Opis:: It is noted that during the period of radical socio-political and economic transformations, higher education acts as the main factor determining the level of economic and social development of society. The problem of higher education is outlined, taking into account the demands of the labor market, and also focusing on supporting small and medium enterprises It is emphasized that business and higher education exist under the same conditions of dynamic transformation and transformation of society, therefore they have to adapt to real conditions of existence where the best adaptation is certified by non-state higher education institutions that are more flexible and mobile, and it is thanks to it a contradiction between the training of specialists and the demand for them in the labor market is mitigated. The strategic, long-term and short-term tasks of institutions of higher education, as well as the means of their solution, are defined. It was emphasized that the main priorities are based not on the simple accumulation of knowledge, but on the training of graduates for independent living and the ability to organize their jobs, and therefore there is a need to move from curriculum to educational programs. The peculiarities of the system of higher education in Ukraine, as well as the advantages of private institutions of higher education in view of the intensification of competition in the market of educational services, are determined. It is substantiated that ensuring the high quality of education in accordance with the requirements of state standards should be carried out taking into account national priorities. It was emphasized that the development of an effective marketing strategy by educational institutions should be based on a classic strategic planning algorithm taking into account the specifics of educational services. The stages of the strategic marketing planning process of the educational institution are considered and analyzed. The factors that need to be taken into account to ensure the quality of the marketing plan are identified. It is emphasized that among the set of marketing mix elements for educational services, the main place belongs to marketing communications, which perform informative, popularization and image functions. It is proved that all marketing communications means of higher education institutions are characterized by their own peculiarities and at the same time are closely interrelated, therefore such integration of marketing communications allows to form a clear, consistent and convincing understanding of the image of the higher education institution and its services. It is substantiated that for the effective functioning of educational institutions, taking into account the situation not only in the domestic, but also in the foreign market of educational services, the complex use of the means of marketing communications is important and its features are outlined. It has been established that in the context of the crisis situation in Ukraine, the essential tool of marketing communications are exhibitions, which provide the opportunity for personal contact with future consumers of educational services and interested persons. The essence of the educational exhibition is determined and the advantages of using exhibitions are substantiated.

Opis:: The article presents the issues related to the implementation of the rules of the National Framework of Qualification Standards for Higher Education and proposes their practical solutions by means of dedicated ICT applications, called PSSOR. The PSSOR system has been developed at Wrocław University of Economics (WUE). The application allows to make a smooth reconstruction of the formal requirements and descriptions of all programs of the studies conducted at four faculties of the WUE; and is currently used to manage the educational programs. In the paper the few main functionalities of PSSOR are presented and illustrated. The practical usefulness of the system is systematically verified by the staff and students of the WUE, while pointing further issues related to the organization of modern educational processes.

Opis:: Celem artykułu jest dokonanie pomiaru poziomu życia w powiatach województwa lubuskiego i pogrupowanie powiatów ze względu na to kryterium. Analizy przeprowadzono dla danych z 2017 r. pozyskanych z Urzędu Statystycznego w Zielonej Górze oraz Banku Danych Lokalnych Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego. W badaniu wykorzystano wybrane wskaźniki charakteryzujące poziom życia w 10 obszarach, które dotyczą warunków funkcjonowania społeczności lubuskich powiatów. Poziom życia zmierzono z wykorzystaniem syntetycznej miary taksonomicznej zaproponowanej przez Hellwiga. Wskazano, że główne czynniki cechujące grupy powiatów wyróżnione na podstawie zastosowanej miary mają charakter ekonomiczny. Wyjątek stanowią miasta na prawach powiatu, w przypadku których większe jest znaczenie czynników infrastrukturalnych, środowiskowych i społecznych.
The aim of the paper is to measure the standard of living in the powiats of Lubuskie voivodship and to group them according to this criterion. The analyses were carried out for the data from 2017 obtained from the Statistical Office in Zielona Góra and the Local Data Bank of Statistics Poland. The author used selected indicators describing the standard of living in 10 areas that determine the living conditions of communities in the Lubuskie powiats. The standard of living was measured using Hellwig’s synthetic taxonomic measure. The study demonstrated that what distinguished the groups of powiats (extracted by the measure) to the largest extent, were economic factors. However, cities with powiat status, where infrastructural, environmental and social factors were more important, proved an exception to this rule.
