    We consider a stationary symmetric stable bidimensional process with discrete time, having the spectral representation (1.1). We consider a general case where the spectral measure is assumed to be the sum of an absolutely continuous measure, a discrete measure of finite order and a finite number of absolutely continuous measures on several lines. We estimate the density of the absolutely continuous measure and the density on the lines.

    Opis:
    Elements of Modern ships' main combustion driven engines are subject to immense heat and mechanical loads. It is therefore advisable to supervise the regularity of heat generation in engine 's cylinder s. In order to diagnose the process of heat generation in engine's cylinder s, this article propagates the use of momentmetre. Described method allows estimating faulty combustion on the basis of autocorrelation of moment temporary values on the shaft after three successive rotations. The paper brings to attention how the work of diesel engine may be usedfor estimation of combustion process correctness in this engine cylinder. The work of diesel engine is connected with transfer of effective energy to ship propeller during its operation. Due to accidental naturę of combustion inside engine cylinder s it stochastic internally stationary process. To say more it is stochastic internally stationary process with ergodic feature. It makes possible to describe expected engine work by means of stochastic second order characteristics. They are autocorrelation functions and spectrum density of self power functions depending on time and frequency. Both above mentioned functions are uniquely connected with combustion in engine cylinders and it is possible to estimate the correctness of engine operation. It is also possible to estimate if the work of engine in given sail conditions is equal to reguirements of imposed tasks. If this reguirement is not met in the case of one propeller ship it can lead to the loss of ship stability and as a result can cause the ship sink.

    W pracy pokazano, jak dzięki odpowiedniemu wyborowi długości odcinka realizacji (obserwacji) dyskretnego stacjonarnego procesu stochastycznego można istotnie poprawić dokładność estymacji parametrów sinusoid w nim zawartych. Wybór ten oparto o nowy, tu zdefiniowany parametr nazwany indeksem widmowej koncentracji energii periodogramu. Rozważania zilustrowano wynikami eksperymentu numerycznego.
    In this paper, it has been demonstrated that if the length of the discrete-time stationary stochastic process observation length is carefully selected, the accuracy of sinusoidal components parameters estimation can be significantly improved. Observation length selection is based on new, defined in this paper, parameter called spectral energy concentration index. Our reasoning has been illustrated with results of numerical experiments.

    W pracy przedstawiono klasyfikację pomiarów kontrolnych wykonywanych za pomocą szczelinomierzy na zaporze Solina. W tym celu zastosowano statystyczną metodę periodogramu. Analizie poddano pomiary z 72 szczelinomierzy trójosiowych rozmieszczonych na dylatacjach pomiędzy sekcjami zapory. Pomiary wykonywane były raz na miesiąc. W wyniku otrzymano zbiór 222 periodogramów, które zostały podzielone na cztery typy. Typy otrzymanych periodogramów zależą od rodzajów zjawisk wywołujących przemieszczenie budowli. Są to przemieszczenia sezonowe spowodowane zmianą temperatury i przemieszczenia reologiczne. Metoda periodogramu może służyć do szybkiego określania, które ze zjawisk mają decydujący wpływ na przemieszczenie badanego punktu zapory.
    The paper presents a classification of control measurements made using feeler gauges on Solina dam, the biggest dam in Poland. For this purpose a statistical method periodogram is applied. This method is based on the assumption that the time series is composed of sine waves and cosine waves. Periodogram approximates discrete funcion, the number of its elements is finite and independent variable is time [3]. We analyzed measurements of 72 triaxial feeler located at the joint between sections of the dam in gallery no 1 and 4 (Fig. 1). Measurements were performed once a month. The result was a set of 222 periodograms, which are classified into four types: A (Fig. 4), B (Fig.6), C (Fig. 8) and mixed type AB (Fig. 10). Periodograms classes depend on the types of structures that cause displacement. Seasonal movements are caused by the change in temperature and rheological displacement. Types of periodograms for each feeler gauge are presented in Tab. 1. Periodogram method can be used to quickly determine which of events have a decisive impact on the displacement of the tested dam, it is necessary for the safety assessment of hydro-technical construction.
