Internal logistics is a key element of a production process as it specifies product quality, timeliness and value of orders. The purpose of the research was to determine the amount of non-compliance in the selected production process caused by internal logistics operations. The analysis covers both the quantity and type of non-compliance as well as the cost of non-compliance. One of the basic quality management tools was used in the research - Parteo-Lorenz analysis. An attempt was made to identify potential causes of non-compliance. The significant impact of non-compliance arising in internal logistics operations in production costs was pointed out.

Celem artykułu było określenie poziomu zaawansowania procesów w łańcuchach dostaw polskich przedsiębiorstw przetwórstwa rolno-spożywczego. W ramach badań ankietowych uzyskano odpowiedzi od 507 przedsiębiorstw agrobiznesu, z czego do analizy wybrano 211 firm sklasyfikowanych do kluczowych branż agrobiznesu: przetwórstwa mięsa, mleka, owoców i warzyw oraz zbóż. Uzyskane wyniki badań pozwalają stwierdzić, że zarówno zakres, jak i poziom stosowanych rozwiązań logistycznych w przedsiębiorstwach agrobiznesu jest bardzo zróżnicowany. Najbardziej rozwinięte rozwiązania w zakresie logistyki posiadają duże i średnie przedsiębiorstwa agrobiznesu, w których najczęściej m.in.: funkcjonują odrębne działy logistyki, stosuje się narzędzia wspierające planowanie zaopatrzenia i produkcji oraz stosuje się zintegrowane rozwiązania informatyczne.
The paper presents some technical and organizational solutions in supply chain in Polish agribusiness enterprises. Material and methods The survey was conducted on the agri-food companies. The amount of the sent questionnaires reached 10 thousand; 507 companies have responded to the survey (5.07%). The level of logistics organizations in selected areas were evaluated depending on the branch of agribusiness firms. The companies were classified as processing meat, milk, fruit and vegetables, cereals. Results The most advanced solutions in logistics have large and medium-sized agribusiness enterprises, which include mostly to the existence of separate departments of logistics, the most use of transport services and the most commonly used integrated IT solutions. Conclusions The analysis shows that the scope and level of applied logistics solutions in agribusiness enterprises is very diverse. The proper organization of the logistics processes in Polish agribusiness companies, suitable for the particular sector, may undoubtedly improve the competitiveness among the companies by optimization of costs, as well as offering a higher level of customer service.

Zaprezentowano modelową strukturę konspektu badań jakościowych oraz zasady ich prowadzenia. Artykuł zakończono podsumowaniem, które ma charakter wniosków.
The article discusses selected problems of qualitative research, received the applied logistics, its essence, the specifics. The article gives the definition of qualitative research, which is accepted by most scholars of the quality. Discusses the principle of suitability with respect to choice of methods, techniques and research tools. Has been interpreted to be situations in which you can combine quantitative and qualitative studies. Lists the schematics of the research process for qualitative research, qualitative methods used in the research of applied logistics issues. Shows the implementation of the outline structure and qualitative research of conducting these studies. The article was completed, that is the nature of the applications.

Following problems are discussed: applied logistics as a practical science, logistic process design, design principles, improvement and custom design, universal approach to design and implementation processes, a concept of a logistic system of production control.

This article presents a broad perspective on a maritime car terminal’s role in finished vehicle logistics with an aim to elaborate the process when a terminal changes its role from an inbound intermodal node to an outbound intermodal platform. Through the analysis of the maritime car terminal in Koper that occupies the 9th position among top European ports in handling light vehicles, a comprehensive view of process re-engineering is provided. The research analyses specific inbound and outbound processes and real-time decisions that influence the terminal’s productivity and satisfies stakeholders’ business expectations. The proposed business process re-engineering (BPR) model for an outbound car terminal highlights the directions of future management decisions to position the terminal as an export oriented intermodal node. The article offers a theoretical and practical contribution to efficient FVL management.

Autor podkreślił w opracowaniu rolę czasu w procesach logistycznych. Uczynił to jednak z pozycji specjalisty-organizatora i prakseologa, a nie logistyka. W tym celu podjął się zbadania w całym cyklu logistycznym relacji między czasem uzasadnionym a czasem zmarnowanym. Starał się udowodnić, że koszty czasu zmarnowanego stanowią w cyklu logistycznym pokaźną wielkość, którą można w znacznym stopniu wyeliminować. W opracowaniu posłużono się w tym zakresie kilku prostymi przykładami.
I emphasize the role of time in logistic processes. It is presented from the perspective of specialist, organizer and praxeologist, and not the logistician. To fulfill this aim I research relationships between justified and wasted time in the whole logistic process. I try to prove that costs associated with wasted time comprise a considerable amount in the logistic processes and these might be substantially limited. It is exemplified with several easy-to-understand cases.

The article focuses primarily on two major aspects affecting each manufacturing enterprise. Namely, the question of planning of production process as well as process preparation to manufacture a desired product will be discussed. The article shows planning and production actions on the example of a production enterprise. The technical scope necessary in preparation of each production was presented as well as selected ways for inseparable connections and machines found in manufacturing halls were discussed. The characteristics of an enterprises manufacturing metal workshop furniture as well as workshop cars equipment was shown. The course of manufacturing process planning was depicted. Due to presented plans of the production hall it is possible to view the whole process. Some changes in that plan to streamline production and extend it in the future with a new range of products were suggested.

The aim of this paper is to present the case study of business processes reengineering (BPR). Important part of the change was the logistic process. At the beginning, the literature review on process approach and BPR was presented. Next a BPR methodology was shown. The case study of the implemented BPR change consists of three parts. In the first part, the company’s standing before the change was characterised. Next, the methodology of the project, based on the BPR approach, was defined. In the third part, the results of the BPR change were depicted. The article ends up with general conclusions.
Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie studium przypadku reengineeringu procesów biznesowych (ang. Business Process Reengineering, BPR). Ważną częścią zmian był reengineering procesu logistycznego. W artykule przedstawiono przegląd literatury w zakresie podejścia procesowego i reengineeringu procesów biznesowych. Dokonano przeglądu metodyk BPR. Prezentowane studium przypadku składa się z trzech części. W pierwszej części scharakteryzowano stan przedsiębiorstwa przed zmianą. Następnie zdefiniowano metodykę zmiany bazując na podejściu BPR. W części trzeciej przedstawiono rezultaty zmiany. Artykuł wieńczą konkluzje.

Process of suppliers selection, as well as cooperation between suppliers and manufacturers, are a significant problem for today’s companies. Producers negotiate and arrange with their subcontractors to ensure a continuity of production. Following this, one of the major problem is supplier evaluation and supply risk assessment in order to avoid delays, which may seriously affect the producers’ ability. In the paper there are presented the main types of risk and the methods of its classification and evaluation used in logistic processes performance. The analysed problem is to be discussed on the example of Whirlpool-Polar company from Poland. For the presented company, there is investigated supplier evaluation process, suppliers classification with the relation of their purchasing and bargaining power to the degree of their obligations fulfilment. Moreover, there is defined the supply risk concept, what gives the possibility to compare the suppliers purchasing power with the defined supply risk. Later, there are presented main possibilities to reduce the supply risk by using a “milk run” method with a number of variants of the simulation and its evaluations. The presented results comply with the profitability of transport in the case of round-trip transportation performance. Transport of goods is cost effective when the usage of the truck transport capacity will be at least 85%. Following this, the presented research analysis result gives the possibility to reduce risk in terms of reducing disruptions occurrence consequences, when the probabilities of their appearance remain at the same level.

Artykuł dotyka problematyki efektywności stosowania koncepcji outsourcingu w przedsiębiorstwach produkcyjnych i jej wpływu na pozycję konkurencyjną na rynku.
Supply chain management is a very important element in enterprise logistics, which it depends on economic success towards increasing demands from market and consumers, for which the basic condition is quality, price and time. In the current economy, every enterprises builds its competitive position all the time, being aware that everything can change on the market. There is a need for constant development, making innovation systems in the transport process. The article touches on issues the effectiveness of applying the outsourcing concept in manufacturing enterprises and its influence on the competitive position on market.

Celem artykułu jest ocena i analiza perspektyw rozwoju transportu morskiego w Polsce, skupiając uwagę na kluczowych dla rozwoju gospodarki portów, bazując na analizach ilościowych, a także ich konfrontacja z rządowym programem rozwoju portów morskich.
Maritime transport, near the road transport, is very important for global economy. Constantly growing is the most effective branch of cargo transports. The most important link in cargo transport is seaport, where the all cargo exchange is. Seaport`s are connect different branch of transport. They are intermodal. From their development in the field of sustainable development, effective use of the logistics infrastructure, making effective flow networks of cargo and information, depends development of all economy. Development local enterprises, development of regions, development of macro regions and in a big part, development of national economy. This article include analysis perspective of development maritime transport in Poland, on the most important things to economy develop, with statistics analysis and analysis of government documents for maritime growing points.

A period of pandemics and distance learning has forced teachers to plunge headlong into the technological challenges of education. Therefore, this study aims to establish how modern technology has enabled a unity of resources in the education process and to identify how the pandemic conditions have affected the logistics process for didactics, particularly related to providing a unity of the right resources in the correct place. Moreover, the authors indicate the benefits of the described changes in the didactic process for teachers and students in the post-pandemic period.
