Pewne nieliniowe równanie różniczkowe jest analizowane pod kątem zastosowań do rozwiązywania wybranych problemów geotechnicznych, które modelowane są jako nieliniowe, bądź liniowe o współczynnikach funkcyjnych. Dane równanie różniczkowe jest sprowadzane analitycznie do równania różniczkowego liniowego i odwrotnie dzięki właściwościom iteracji operacji G oraz właściwościom operacji S.

This paper presents experimental results on whispered speech recognition based on Teager Energy Operator for linear and mel cepstral coefficients including the Cepstral Mean Subtraction normalization technique. The feature vectors taken into consideration are Linear Frequency Cepstral Coefficients, Teager Energy based Linear Frequency Cepstral Coefficients, Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients and Teager Energy based Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients. A speaker dependent scenario is used. For the recognition process, Dynamic Time Warping and Hidden Markov Models methods are applied. Results show a respectable improvement in whispered speech recognition as achieved by using the Teager Energy Operator with Cepstral Mean Subtraction.

Opis:
The objective of the article is to obtain general conditions for several types of controllability at once for an abstract differential equation of arbitrary order, instead of conditions for a fixed order equation. This innovative approach was possible owing to analyzing the n-th order linear system in the Frobenius form which generates a Jordan transition matrix of the Vandermonde form. We extensively used the fact that the knowledge of the inverse of a Jordan transition matrix enables us to directly verify the controllability by Chen’s theorem. We used the explicit analytical form of the inverse Vandermonde matrix. This enabled us to obtain more general conditions for different types of controllability for infinite dimensional systems than the conditions existing in the literature so far. The methods introduced can be easily adapted to the analysis of other dynamic properties of the systems considered.

Opis:
Given a linear dynamical system, we investigate the linear infinite dimensional system obtained by grafting an age structure. Such systems appear essentially in population dynamics with age structure when phenomena like spatial diffusion or transport are also taken into consideration. We first show that the new system preserves some of the wellposedness properties of the initial one. Our main result asserts that if the initial system is null controllable in a time small enough then the structured system is also null controllable in a time depending on the various involved parameters.

The article presents that in the circuits of electrical signals belonging to the L1-impulses space or periodic signals space, real distribution of electrical currents occurs which does not meet the principle of minimum energy losses. The paper presents a solution of this problem by using the control system in the form of current-dependent voltage sources entering it into a meshes set of a complex RLC network. It has been shown that the control is energy-neutral.

The gradient method is developed for non-injective non-linear operators in Hilbert space that satisfy a translation invariance condition. The focus is on a class of non-differentiable operators. Linear convergence in norm is obtained. The method can be applied to quasilinear elliptic boundary value problems with Neumann boundary conditions.

We classify all \(\mathcal{F}^2\mathcal{M}_{m_1,m_2,n_1,n_2}\)-natural operators \(A\) transforming projectable-projectable torsion-free classical linear connections \(\nabla\) on fibered-fibered manifolds \(Y\) of dimension \((m_1,m_2, n_1, n_2)\) into \(r\)th order Lagrangians \(A(r)\) on the fibered-fibered linear frame bundle \(L^{fib-fib}(Y )\) on \(Y\). Moreover, we classify all \(\mathcal{F}^2\mathcal{M}_{m_1,m_2,n_1,n_2}\)-natural operators \(B\) transforming projectable-projectable torsion-free classical linear connections r on fiberedfibered manifolds \(Y\) of dimension \((m_1,m_2, n_1, n_2)\) into Euler morphism \(B(\nabla)\) on \(L^{fib-fib}(Y )\). These classifications can be expanded on the \(k\)th order fibered-fibered frame bundle \(L^{fib-fib,k}(Y )\) instead of \(L^{fib-fib}(Y )\).

Opis:
The Riemann-Liouville, Caputo and Gr¨unwald-Letnikov fractional order difference operators are discussed and used to state and solve the controllability problem of a nonlinear fractional order discrete-time system. It is shown that independently of the type of fractional order difference, such a system is locally controllable in q steps if its linear approximation is globally controllable in q steps.

This paper concerns two notions of rank of fuzzy matrices: maximal column rank and column rank. We investigate the difference of them. We also characterize the linear operators which preserve the maximal column rank of fuzzy matrices. That is, a linear operator T preserves maximal column rank if and only if it has the form T(X) = UXV with some invertible fuzzy matrices U and V.

W twierdzeniu tym wartość średnia funkcji gładkiej względem zespolonej miary borelowskiej na pewnej elipsoidzie specjalnej postaci jest równa pewnej kombinacji liniowej jej pochodnych cząstkowych w środku tej elipsoidy. Główny wynik pracy uogólnia znane twierdzenie Zalcmana.
https://doi.org/10.26485/0459-6854/2018/68.2/1 We prove a mean value theorem that characterizes continuous weak solutions of homogeneous linear partial differential equations with constant coefficients in Euclidean domains. In this theorem the mean value of a smooth function with respect to a complex Borel measure on an ellipsoid of special form is equal to some linear combination of its partial derivatives at the center of this ellipsoid. The main result of the paper generalizes a well-known Zalcman’s theorem.
