Opis:
Konsekwencją znacznego wzrostu zastosowań tworzyw sztucznych w rolnictwie są coraz większe ilości trudno degradowalnych odpadów, zagrażających środowisku naturalnemu człowieka. Celem pracy było opracowanie taniego edukacyjnego systemu komputerowego, do wspomagania uproszczonej identyfikacji tworzyw sztucznych stosowanych w rolnictwie. Przeanalizowano problematykę zagospodarowania odpadów tworzyw sztucznych w aspekcie świadomości ekologicznej i poziomu wiedzy mieszkańców obszarów pozamiejskich. Zidentyfikowano najbardziej rozpowszechnione w produkcji rolniczej rodzaje tworzyw. Określono przyczyny trudności w zagospodarowywaniu odpadów na obszarach wiejskich. Ustalono, że podniesienie świadomości ekologicznej mieszkańców obszarów wiejskich jest kluczowym czynnikiem rozwoju recyklingu tworzyw pochodzenia rolniczego. Opisano proces budowy bazy wiedzy komputerowego systemu doradczego, jej podstawowe funkcje i możliwości wykorzystania. Stwierdzono pełną przydatność systemu dla przyswajania wiedzy z tego zakresu na różnych poziomach kształcenia.
As a result of growing application of polymers in agriculture, there is great amount of difficult-to-disposal wastes materials, which threaten natural environment. The quality of proper utilization depends of the degree of ecologic awareness and the education level of people living on a farm. The purpose of the study was to build a cheap and simple computer advisory system for initial identification of waste polymer materials applied in agriculture. For this purpose the analysis of methods of waste materials usage in a context of ecologic awareness and of farmer’s education level was done. Next, identification of the kinds of most popular polymer materials used for agricultural application was made. Later the method of computer advisory system building and the basic functions and possibilities of its application were described. The usefulness of the system for knowledge assimilation on the different levels of education was demonstrated.

Wzrost świadomości ekologicznej społeczeństwa i postulat poprawy stanu środowiska naturalnego wymagają od projektantów oraz wytwórców maszyn i urządzeń rolniczych uwzględnienia wymogów ekologicznych. W pracy przedstawiono podstawowe założenia, procedury realizacji, zalety i ograniczenia metody oceny cyklu życia wyrobu. Na podstawie przeglądu literatury, tematycznych witryn internetowych dokonano analizy przydatności oprogramowania komputerowego do wspomagania oceny obciążeń środowiskowych wyrobów z zakresu techniki rolniczej na poszczególnych etapach cyklu życia.
The growth of ecological awareness of people and the demand for the improving natural environment needs from designers and producers of agricultural machinery, to take into cosideration some ecological requirements. In such work there is introduced the fundamental assumptions, procedures of execution, advantages and disadvantages of the life cycle assessment (LCA) method. On the basis of literature and internet www pages review, there were done analysis of usefulness of computer programmes for aid of evaluation environmental burden on the individual stages of life cycle of agricultural machinery.

Artykuł prezentuje problematykę relacji pomiędzy wdrażaniem innowacyjnych technologii inżynierii wiedzy w przedsiębiorstwach technicznej obsługi rolnictwa, a ich konkurencyjnością na rynku. Przeprowadzono przegląd współczesnych technologii informacyjnych wykorzystywanych lub mogących znaleźć zastosowanie w systemach wspomagania decyzji. Przegląd ograniczono do metod odpowiednich dla firm funkcjonujących w szeroko rozumianym otoczeniu rolnictwa. Wyodrębniono i opisano czynniki oddziałujące na przyswajanie różnych technologii informacyjnych przez rolników. Scharakteryzowano funkcje systemów wspomagania decyzji w procesach odnowy maszyn rolniczych i przedstawiono przykłady rozwiązań własnych z zakresu wspomagania doboru technologii, urządzeń i materiałów naprawczych. W podsumowaniu potwierdzono przydatność technologii informacyjnych do zintensyfikowania przepływu wiedzy technologicznej i wskazano na możliwości zastosowań praktycznych.
The paper presents aspects related to the relations between implementing innovative knowledge engineering technologies in companies providing technical services for agriculture and their competitiveness in the market. Modern information technologies, applicable, or of potential use, in decision support systems, were reviewed. The review was limited to methods applicable in companies which function in the broad sense of agricultural environment. Factors affecting learning various information technologies by farmers were identified and described. Functions of decision support systems in farm machinery refurbishment have been described, and examples of own solutions of assisting selection of technologies, equipment and materials, have been given. The usefulness of information technologies for intensifying the exchange of technology-related knowledge has been acknowledged, and practical applications have been indicated in the conclusion.

The topic Theoretical Concepts, Sources and Technical Background of E-learning is discussed in a project of the Czech Science Foundation. A research team from three Czech universities (University of Ostrava, Charles University in Prague and University of West Bohemia in Pilsen) is working on the project. Its aim is to summarise theoretical concepts, to analyse sources of content, to assess methodological background and to search for technical solutions how to transfer some titles of current courseware into electronic version and to evaluate the efficiency of procedure. The methodology of transformation can help authors of study materials (not only e-learning), they may benefit from old instructional programmes.

Industrial processes’ control systems based on PLC controllers play today a very important role in all fields of transport, including also sea transport. Construction of control systems is the field of engineering, which has been continuously evolving towards maximum simplification of system design path. Up to date the time needed for system construction from the design to commissioning had to be divided into a few stages. A mistake made in an earlier stage caused that in most cases the next stages had to be started anew. Modern software allows for quicker implementation of system design. Available debugging systems allow for defect detection at an early stage of project implementation. Application of additional protective devices will allow for remote diagnosing of the equipment state and introducing changes (depending on authorities granted). The paper presents general characteristic of integrated software for implementation of complex control systems. The issues related to the software use for programming of the visualisation environment, control computer, selection of transmission medium and transmission protocol as well as PLC controllers’ configuration, software and control have been analysed.

Opis:
The use of the numerical maps and GPS technology in national parks has been started already at the end of the 20th century, since 1995. The questionnaire was sent to 46 national parks in Europe (Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Germany). In Poland, the obtained responses accounted for 83% of the sent questionnaires. 21% of parks still lack numerical maps and 26% of them have no GPS receivers. In 64% the actually used equipment does not meet the parks' needs. Most measurements are made using the standard method, but not exclusively. Usually the GPS technology is used to locate the habitats of protected vascular plants, locate the nests of the birds of prey, locate the experimental plots, locate equipment and areas covered by environmental monitoring.

The Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) at its 81st session decided to include, in the work programmes of the NAV and COMSAR Sub-Committees, a high priority item on "Development of an e–navigation strategy”. E-navigation is meant to integrate existing and new electronic navigational tools (ship and shore based) into one comprehensive system that will contribute to enhanced navigational safety and security while reducing the workload of the mariner (navigator). This paper describes present IT created to support navigational and administrative activities related to vessel movement and cargo transhipment. Direction of development of existing systems is drafted with reference to E-Navigation concept. Information sets available for the vessel in Polish Sea Areas are grouped.

Opis:
The article presents the issues of costs analysis of iron casts manufacturing using automated foundry lines. Particular attention was paid to departmental costs, conversion costs and costs of in-plant transport. After the Pareto analysis had been carried out, it was possible to set the model area of the process and focus on improving activities related to finishing of a chosen group of casts. In order to eliminate losses, the activities realised in this domain were divided into activities with added value, activities with partially added value and activities without added value. To streamline the production flow, it was proposed to change the location of workstations related to grinding, control and machining of casts. Within the process of constant improvement of manufacturing processes, the aspect of work ergonomics at a workstation was taken into account. As a result of the undertaken actions, some activities without added value were eliminated, efficiency was increased and prime costs of manufacturing casts with regard to finishing treatment were lowered.

Pour illustrer les changements et les problèmes posés par la question du développement inégal des connaissances entre les secteurs, nous analysons le domaine de l’éducation. Actuellement, les systèmes éducationnels doivent être des systèmes ouverts, car les activités transnationales et interdisciplinaires deviennent beaucoup plus importantes et la base pour des systèmes éducationnels strictement nationaux est infirmée. L’interaction économique, éducationnelle et culturelle entre les institutions éducationnelles et la vie économique dans différents pays est renforcée. Le contenu et la signification sociopolitiques de ces processus sont ambigus, mais ils suivent la nouvelle institutionnalisation de l’éducation qui est étroitement liée au développement de la société informationnelle.

W artykule przedstawiono filozofię ITIL (ang. Information Technology Infrastructure Library) jako praktykę zarządzania usługami IT, pozwalającą optymalizować proces obsługi klienta. Zawarto również opis niektórych funkcji, jakie wprowadza ITIL wraz z korzyściami i ewentualnym ryzykiem, jakie może przynieść nieumiejętne wdrożenie. Skoncentrowano się głównie na funkcjach i zasadach ich działania w procesie obsługi klienta.
In the article an ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) concept was presented as the practice of managing IT services, allowing to optimize the process of the customer service. The functions implemented by ITIL with benefits and with the possible risk were described. Theme was concentrated mainly on functions and principles of their action in the process of the customer service.
