    Education today must adequately reflect the needs of the society and be available throughout life, with an equal access for all people at all levels. The real step in solving these problems consists of creating an information and educational e-environment, using open learning, and providing an open access to educational resources. Organisation and management of the educational process, proper development of IT infrastructure, learning management system, and preparing and creating educational content are still necessary to ensure the quality of the educational information environment. Therefore, there is a need for training that could resolve expressed tasks to organise the educational process to a modern level using an information and educational e-environment available 24*7*365. For this purpose, in the system of e-learning of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, an electronic training course “Design and expertise of information and educational e-environment” (available online: http://e-learning.kubg.edu.ua/course/view.php?id=2741) was developed.

    Opis:
    Creation of an open e-environment is one of the main tasks of universities as its use for educational purposes enhances the quality of education of the modern university. A checking tool of the quality and transparency of e-environment in the world is the use of rating systems. The article describes the main global educational ratings and the impact of their indicators on the university work, the development of internal ratings of university structural divisions based on indicators of the Webometrics rating. An analysis was made of the publication activity of scientific and pedagogical staff using the Ukrainian information-analytical system “Bibliometric of Ukrainian Science” and a comparative study was performed to analyse the qualitative provision of masters by the teaching staff based on the newly-established and implemented in the BGKU rating system “E-portfolios.”

    The main objective of this article is to characterize the effects of participation in computer games in an e-players environment. In order to present the relevant data, the authors limited the study sample to a selected group of individual users. In the current paper the authors presented the commonalities of gamers, their approach towards participation in games from the point of view of the results achieved and the environment in which they play. They also held discussions concerning the obtained solutions and drew conclusions based on the present stage of research.

    The article describes a new form of e-learning – adaptive e-learning. The theory of this form is based on a series of pedagogical-psychological rules which are aimed at the technical possibilities of today’s IT. The very basics of adaptive e-learning is comprised of the student’s learning style and a group of algorithms which will assign a suitable study material to the student according to his/her learning style.     Though there are adequate institutional frameworks and legal instruments for the protection of the Sub-Saharan African environment, their impact on the development and conservation (protection) of the environment leaves much to be desired. This assertion is substantiated by the reality that inspite of these regulatory frameworks, the environment is largely degraded with negative ramifications for the twin goals of attaining sustainable socio-economic advancement and realization of environmental rights. Both national and regional state of environment (SoE) reports show that degradation is apparent. It is worthy of mention that almost all African countries have ratified and domesticated the various regional and subregional environmental agreement. Efforts to solve the puzzle have revealed that corruption and environmental degradation in Sub-Saharan Africa are closely linked. Financial impropriety in ecological funds management, poorly equipped environmental protection institutions, and inadequate citizens' environmental management awareness campaigns are outcomes of corruption in the public sector. Since corruption thrives in the absence of transparency and accountability, this study proposes a cutting-edge technology-based solution that promotes participatory environmental accountability using an e-Environment system. The web-based multi-tier e-Environment system will empower both citizens and government officials to deliberate online real-time on environmental policies, programmes and projects to be embarked upon. Both parties will equally put forward proposals on the use of tax payers money in the environment sector while monitoring discrepancies between amount budgeted, amount released and actual amount spent. We applied design and software engineering skills to actualize the proposed solution. Using Nigeria as case study, our research methodology comprised literature review, requirements gathering, design of proposed solution using universal modelling language (UML) and development/implementation on the Microsoft SharePoint platform. In view of our determination to evolve a zero-defect software, we applied Cleanroom Software Engineering techniques. The outcome obtained so far has proved that the model supports our expectations. The system is not only practical, but ecologically sound. It is anticipated that the full-scale implementation of such an enterprise e-Environment system will decrease the current tide of corruption in the environment sector, mitigate environmental degradation and by extension, reduce social-economic tensions and guarantee national security.
    Chociaż w Afryce Subsaharyjskiej istnieją odpowiednie ramy instytucjonalne i instrumenty prawne dla ochrony środowiska, ich wpływ na zachowanie (ochronę) środowiska naturalnego pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Pomimo istniejących ram regulacyjnych, środowisko jest tu w dużej mierze zdegradowane, co negatywnie wpływa na możliwość osiągnięcia podwójnego celu: osiągnięcia zrównoważonego rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego i ochrony środowiska. Zarówno krajowe, jak i regionalne raporty o stanie środowiska (SoE) pokazują, że degradacja ma miejsce. Warto wspomnieć, że prawie wszystkie kraje afrykańskie ratyfikowały i wprowadziły różne regionalne i subregionalne porozumienia dotyczące ochrony środowiska. Próby zmierzające do uporządkowania sytuacji pokazały, że korupcja i degradacja środowiska w Afryce Subsaharyjskiej są ze sobą ściśle powiązane. Niepewność finansowa odnosząca się do zarządzania funduszami ekologicznymi, słabo wyposażone instytucje ochrony środowiska oraz nieodpowiednie kampanie informacyjne na temat zarządzania środowiskiem w zakresie ochrony środowiska są wynikiem korupcji w sektorze publicznym. Ponieważ z braku przejrzystości i odpowiedzialności korupcja kwitnie, niniejsze badanie proponuje nowoczesne rozwiązanie, które promuje partycypacyjną odpowiedzialność za środowisko z wykorzystaniem e-Środowiska. Wielowarstwowy system e-Środowiska, oparty na Internecie, umożliwi zarówno obywatelom, jak i urzędnikom państwowym, dyskusję w czasie rzeczywistym odnoszącą się do polityki dotyczącej ochrony środowiska, a także wszelkich przygotowywanych programów i projektów. Obie strony będą również wysuwać propozycje dotyczące wykorzystania pieniędzy podatników w sektorze środowiskowym, przy jednoczesnym monitorowaniu rozbieżności między kwotą przewidzianą w budżecie, a faktyczną wydaną. Zastosowaliśmy umiejętności projektowe i programistyczne, aby zaktualizować proponowane rozwiązanie. Wykorzystując studium przypadku w Nigerii, nasza metodologia badań obejmowała przegląd literatury, określenie wymagań, projektowanie proponowanego rozwiązania z wykorzystaniem uniwersalnego języka modelowania (UML) oraz opracowanie / wdrożenie realizowane na platformie Microsoft SharePoint. W związku z naszą determinacją odnoszącą się do opracowania w pełni funkcjonalnego oprogramowania, zastosowaliśmy techniki Cleanroom Software Engineering. Uzyskane wyniki dowiodły, że model ten spełnia nasze oczekiwania. System jest nie tylko praktyczny, ale także ekologiczny. Przewiduje się, że pełne wdrożenie takiego systemu e-Środowiska w przedsiębiorstwie doprowadzi do zmniejszenia obecnej fali korupcji w sektorze środowiskowym, zmniejszy degradację środowiska, a poprzez to zmniejszy napięcia społeczno-gospodarcze i zapewni bezpieczeństwo narodowe.

    Innovational methods of foreign language teaching in the context of modern language laboratory are considered in the given article. The attention is paid to new educational, cultural opportunities and challenges that learners and teachers come across while learning teaching and a foreign language. The article emphasizes the role of teacher’s competence in using computer-based systems. The work suggests some approaches to forming language competence where language laboratory is considered as an artificial language environment. Technical aids and materials exist in the educational sphere for a long time. Media education as a vital trend in education was formed in the 2nd half of the XX century. The present article deals with the importance of an adequate use of innovations in a school system. It is focused on the peculiarities and communicative opportunities of modern educational technologies. The problem of education management is discussed in the context of computer-oriented environment. The article deals with the innovational methods of foreign language teaching. The attention is paid to the peculiarities of a process of teaching in a personalized e-learning environment. The work suggests some practical approaches to information technologies implementation. The article emphasizes the teacher’s readiness in using the opportunities of computer-based systems.
    W artykule omówiono innowacyjne metody nauczania języków obcych w kontekście współczesnego laboratorium językowego. Zwrócono uwagę na nowe możliwości edukacyjne i kulturowe oraz wyzwania, z którymi spotykają się uczniowie i nauczyciele w procesie nauczania i uczenia się języka obcego. W artykule podkreślono rolę kompetencji nauczyciela w posługiwaniu się rozwiązaniami IT. Autor artykułu nakreśla takie podejście do kształtowania kompetencji językowych, w którym laboratorium językowe jest uważane za sztuczne środowisko językowe. Pomoce i materiały techniczno-dydaktyczne istnieją w sferze edukacji przez długi czas. Edukacja medialna jako istotny trend w edukacji powstała w drugiej połowie XX wieku. W niniejszym artykule omówiono znaczenie odpowiedniego wykorzystania innowacji w systemie szkolnym, akcentując osobliwości i możliwości komunikacyjne nowoczesnych technologii edukacyjnych. Problem zarządzania edukacją omówiono w kontekście środowiska komputerowego. Artykuł dotyczy innowacyjnych metod nauczania języków obcych. Zwrócono uwagę na specyfikę procesu nauczania w spersonalizowanym środowisku e-learningu. Praca sugeruje kilka praktycznych podejść do wdrażania technologii informacyjnych. Artykuł podkreśla gotowość nauczyciela do korzystania z możliwości systemów komputerowych.

    Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is a fad in the 21st century academic landscape. A number of studies found out that students perceive VLEs positively and that VLEs facilitate learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and provide an avenue for educators to extend a helping hand to their EFL students. Sustaining VLEs is not an easy task as it raises various concerns and challenges, particularly in the domain of EFL learning. This paper reports on the results of a qualitative study aimed to shed light on the stakeholders’ perception towards VLE as well as the significant concerns and challenges encountered by EFL lecturers and their students on their actual use of VLEs in a higher education institution. Furthermore, the study unveiled the practical tips to create efficient and effective VLEs, based on the suggestions of both the EFL students and their lecturers.

    Using a progressive information technologies for development of web-based courses and their administration brings a lot of practical and theoretical problems. We know web course problem is only small solution concerning construction of a large entire web-based e-learning environment. One of a practical problem is how to construct web-based electronic courses that have to meet international AICC standards. Implementation of such strict statements resulted in a lot of small or larger difficulties if we had used an elementary HTML editor. Using a special web course oriented editors can absolutely solve this problem. The second problem is construction of the web-based e-learning application that can administrate such web courses and takes into consideration AICC regulations. Development of such web applications is founded on the latest web technologies. This article introduces one approach to the modeling of the two most important components (web-based course, web-based application) of the web-based e-learning environment, convenient for Military Academy in Brno and Czech army. The article outlines the structure of web subject, e-learning environment and their implementation. The LMS's structure and its functionality, based on a snaps algebra, belong to important results of the article.

    Implementation of the Marine Electronic Highway (MEH) project in Straits of Malacca and Singapore will complement the efforts taken by Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore as littoral states in enhancing safety of navigation and the prevention and control of marine pollution in the Straits. The Project Steering Committee meetings of the MEH indicate that, the progress in the implementation of its activities is in the midst of many challenging conditions. The efforts is a testament that the littoral states are working together to ensure the implementation of this project is running smoothly since the donor agencies, user States and the maritime industry have great expectations on its success. The MEH project consists of four important components such as Hydrographic Survey and Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs) production, Environment Marine Information Overlays, Baseline Survey and Information Technology Structure. This paper will address the current status of the implementation of the four key components highlighting the development of ENCs as a vital tool to sustain the safety of navigation along the straits. The discussion in this paper is based on some preliminary survey findings and from reports of the Project Steering Committee meetings.

    Being a teacher in the 21st century is a great challenge and requires great thought. A big evolution has happened over the last 70 years. From a room computer (the Mark I in 1943) to tiny pocket computers, thousands of times smaller and thousands of times bigger in performance and capacity. E-learning 3.0 is based on synchronous interactivity and it was only possible after 2004 due to a considerable increase of Internet bandwidth available, evolution in video compression, stream video, and sophistication of virtual classroom platforms. This was another revolution. As a result, e-learning has evolved to a new form: b-learning – where students will never be alone and interactivity becomes very important. B-learning has a different format now: from now on it is asynchronous (content on demand and activities to be implemented in an interactive format with remote collaborative work) and synchronous in presence or virtual environment. Teachers need to evolve from teacher to (blended) b-teacher or b-tutor, offering a mixed teaching expertise.

    Multiproxy data (pollen, plant macrofossils, 14C dates and loss-on--ignition measurements) obtained from the Bevardis and Verpstinis lakes in the Labanoras area (East Lithuania) were used to reconstruct a vegetation history and to reveal major environmental features during post-glacial time. Biostratigraphical data indicates ongoing sedimentation in Verpstinis Lake since the final stages of the AllerÝd. The pollen data shows that Pinus-dominated forest flourished during the AllerÝd, while the Younger Dryas was characterized by open shrub/herb/grass vegetation with highly abundant Juniperus. These are evidences of severe climatic conditions in the area. The 14C data suggests that sedimentation started in Bevardis Lake with the onset of the Holocene. Picea immigrated into the Verpstinis Lake surroundings in the Late Glacial, just before 11 500 cal yr BP according to the palynological evidence. The expanding deciduous taxa, e.g., Corylus (ca. 10 200-10 000 cal yr BP), Alnus (8200-8000 cal yr BP), and broad-leaved species with Ulmus (ca. 10 000 cal yr BP), Tilia (7700-7400 cal yr BP) and Quercus (5200 cal yr BP), formed a dense mixed forest where Picea appeared at 7300-6800 cal yr BP. Both diagrams show only negligible human impact. It seems that natural factors were responsible for the formation of vegetation cover and environment in the study area throughout the post-glacial.

    This paper discusses the opportunities for reducing the emissions of substances dangerous to the environment as a result of switching from traditional ferry drives to electric propulsion systems. The research carried out included the analysis and evaluation of the technical solutions that are currently used in mixed passenger/vehicle vessels operating in the Baltic Sea Region (BSR). A comparative analysis of the impact of internal combustion engines and environmentally-friendly alternatives was also performed. The objective of the paper was to analyse and evaluate the organisation of ferry services in the BSR in the context of the propulsion systems used in ferries. The technical solutions currently used in the vessels under review were identified, as well as the possibilities offered by electric propulsion.

    Environmentálne vzdelávanie je kľúčovou súčasťou nástroja na ochranu prírody, ktorý môže rozšíriť vedomosti. Prehlbovanie a rozširovanie vedomostí mení postoje k prostrediu. Postoje vplývajú na správanie sa jednotlivcov k zložkám životného prostredia. Environmentálne vzde-lávanie sa často uskutočňuje ako záchranná intervencia zameraná na zmenu postojov a správania príjemcov. Rôzne orientované vzdelávania v oblasti ochrany prírody sú zamerané najmä na deti, žiakov a študentov s odôvodnením, že oni ovplyvňujú postoje svojich rodičov, ktorí pod ich vplyvom menia svoje správanie. Príspevok podporuje návrh, aby sa environmentálna výchova mohla dostať medzi generácie a tak nepriamo vyvolala cielené zmeny správania. Cieľom príspevku je oboznámenie žiakov, učiteľov aj budúcich učiteľov s on-line inovatívnym študijným materiálom obsiahnutým v e-learningovom kurze pripravenom v rámci projektu KEGA (Kultúrna a vzdelávacia grantová agentúra) č. 044UKF-4/2017, ktorý popisuje starostlivosť o okolité prostredie a prírodu, približuje spôsob ako predchádzať environmentálnym problémom pri manipulácii a zneškodňovaní odpadov. Vzdelávacie témy kurzu analyzujú danú situáciu, hľadajú riešenia a východiská na zlepšenie aktuálneho stavu prostredia. Kurz sa zameriava na chemickú podstatu odpadov a odpadové hospodárstvo z pohľadu výchovno-vzdelávacej práce a vo vzťahu jeho aplikácie do praxe.
    Environmental education is the key component of tool, for the preservation of the environ-ment, which can increase knowledge. Dissemination and increasing of knowledge is leading to improved attitudes to environment. Attitudes are changing behaviour of people. Environmental education is frequently undertaken as a conservation intervention designed to change the attitudes and behaviour of recipients. Much conservation education is aimed at children and students, with the rationale that they might influence the attitudes of their parents, who will consequently change their behaviour. Our paper provides the first strong support for the suggestion that environmental education can be transferred between generations and indirectly induce targeted behavioural changes.The aim of the paper is to inform pupils, students, teachers and future teachers with on-line innovative study materials contained in the e-learning course prepared under the KEGA Project (Cultural and Educational Grant Agency) No. 044UKF-4/2017. This project describes treatment of the surrounding environment and countryside and suggests a way to prevent it. The training topics of the course analyse the situation, look for solutions and the basics to improve the current state of the environment. The course focuses on the chemical nature of waste and waste management from the point of view of educational work and its application in practice

    The main scientific focus of the paper is the new pedagogical knowledge about the educational activities content and organization for the development of future teachers’ communicative competence, together with the new aspects of educational communication, implemented in the modern information environment. The paper describes the approach to students’ communicative competence development based on the use of educational blogs. During the research students solved professional pedagogical problems, described and discussed their experience in blogs. For each of the problem solved, students had a specially developed activity algorithm. The algorithm structure described teachers’ and students’ actions, additional electronic resources, stages of monitoring activities, terms of effectiveness, as well as extracurricular activities assessment scale.

    Pszenżyto ze względu na korzystny skład chemiczny ziarna i wysokie walory żywieniowe może być wykorzystywane jako surowiec w przemyśle spożywczym. Jest jednak podatne na porastanie oraz zmienne warunki środowiska, które istotnie wpływają na jakość ziarna i wybór kierunku użytkowania. Celem badań było określenie wpływu genotypu (G), środowiska (E) oraz interakcji G×E na zawartość wybranych składników chemicznych ziarna pszenżyta oraz szczegółowa charakterystyka interakcji G×E dla wybranych parametrów. Przebadano ziarno czterech odmian pszenżyta ozimego (Alekto, Fredro, Panteon, Preludio) uprawianych w trzech sezonach wegetacyjnych (2013/2014; 2014/2015; 2015/2016) w tej samej lokalizacji. Oznaczono zawartość podstawowych składników odżywczych: białka, lipidów, skrobi, związków mineralnych oraz bioaktywnych: błonnika pokarmowego (jako sumy nieskrobiowych polisacharydów i ligniny), a także lepkość wodnych ekstraktów ziarna, powiązaną z rozpuszczalną frakcją błonnika pokarmowego i liczbę opadania ziarna. Przeprowadzono analizę wariancji według stałego modelu dwukierunkowego, a wyniki uzupełniono porównaniem wartości średnich dla efektów głównych i efektu interakcyjnego. Dodatkowo, w celu szczegółowego opisu interakcji G×E, dla wybranych zmiennych przeprowadzono analizę z zastosowaniem modelu AMMI. Dla wszystkich analizowanych parametrów wykazano istotne różnice pomiędzy sezonami uprawy, odmianami oraz odmianami w poszczególnych sezonach wegetacyjnych. Największy wpływ warunków środowiska zaobserwowano dla liczby opadania (83,2%), największy wpływ genotypu dla zawartości rozpuszczalnej frakcji nieskrobiowych polisacharydów (76,4%), a interakcji G×E dla zawartości skrobi (49,5%).
    Triticale is characterised with valuable chemical composition and high nutritional value, therefore it can be used as a raw material in the food industry. However, it is susceptible to sprouting and to variable environmental conditions, which significantly affects the quality of the grain and the choice of its utilisation. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of genotype (G), environment (E) and G×E interaction on the content of selected chemical components of triticale grains and detailed characteristics of G×E interaction for selected parameters. Material for the study comprised four triticale varieties (Alekto, Fredro, Panteon, Preludio), harvested at the same location, during three growing seasons (2013/2014; 2014/2015; 2015/2016). The content of basic nutrient components: protein, starch, lipids, minerals and bioactive components: dietary fibre (as a sum of nonstarch polysaccharides and lignin) were determined, as well as water extract viscosity of grain, associated with soluble dietary fibre fraction, and falling number. An analysis of variance according to a fixed two-way model was performed, and the results were supplemented by comparison of mean values for the main effects and the interactive effect. Additionally, for a detailed description of the G×E interaction, an analysis using the AMMI model was performed for selected parameters. For all analysed parameters, significantdifferences were found between successive growing seasons,varieties and varieties in years. The highest impact of environmentalconditions was observed for falling number (83.2%), thelargest impact of the genotype for the soluble fraction of non--starch polysaccharides (76.4%) and the interaction of G×E forstarch (49.5%)

    In this article, the authors describe their experience of introducing students to online services for developing electronic educational resources with multimedia content. The sample of research included pedagogical education students from different years of first degree (bachelor) studies. The article presents the results obtained in the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia. The authors developed an e-environment for a training module, with all the content and interaction algorithms. In the experiment, the authors measured various indicators of students’ media competence development: informational, perceptual, motivational, contact, and interpretation (based on A. V. Fedorov’s approach). After students had studied the proposed module, the analyses of their projects were made.

    The problem of determining the optimal passing route of the ship between its current position and a remote destination point including the navigation situation occurring during moving along the route has been a subject of many papers and so far has not been definitely solved. In order to determine an optimal and safe route of the ship and its control along it, the author suggests application of an agent system. In the presented agent system three goals are accomplished. The first relies on data acquisition about current navigation situation around the ship and on analysis of possible collision risk. Second target – so far not present in anti-collision systems – relies on automatic negotiations between ships that operate in the same water region or between the coast stations in order to determine the potential area thru which a passing route could have been set. The third one connected to determining the passing route and its autocorrecting depending on current navigation situation.

    The article is dedicated to the issues of the day of studies of Ukrainian literature within the limits of innovative virtual environment. The special attention is spared to development of the perspective system of receptions and forms of studies of literature in media space. Efficiency of application of the separate modernized methods of pedagogical collaboration is analysed. Purpose. Creation and justification of conceptual model methods of teaching Ukrainian literature under conditions of cloud-oriented study environment. Methods. The basic methods of research were theoretical and analytical, empirical (on the basis of observations and pedagogical experiment), mathematical methods and verification approaches. Results. Today's innovative educational approaches are sent to the educational collaboration in a virtual environment that is multifunction and dynamic. For satisfaction of the competency necessities of new generation a teacher must freely own the modernized technologies, methods and receptions. Especially it topically for the teacher of literature, that by the art of artistic word, with an author and heroes dialogue creates moral values, spiritual outlook intellectual personality. The cloud-oriented study environment (at his effective application) gives the enormous amount of possibilities to the modern teacher, but methodology of his introduction needs a further study.

    The present paper is aimed at sharing practical experience of organizing active interaction with Maritime English students of remote groups in conditions of permanent online teaching and learning processes. The authors explore various strategies that can be integrated into the design and development of tailored e-books and tutors’ e-courses to foster high level of Maritime English students’ online interaction. In addition, the use of modern digital tools for the successful running of e-books and e-courses is discussed as well as the role these tools play in promoting atmosphere of interaction to allow students be deeply engaged into learning activities and contribute to genuine discussion. A few aspects considered with regard to the process of designing e-books and e-courses are accessibility of learning materials, integration of design elements, and development of students’ online community, encouraging discussions and application of effective assessment methods. The study examines their experience of teaching Maritime English using Moodle and Zoom platforms. The findings of the study can be useful for educators to promote more interactive online learning.

    This paper discusses logistics models of e-commerce implemented by Polish clothing companies. The author has conducted research on Polish clothing companies and logistics operators serving e-commerce branches, and here presents and compares these models. There are various logistics models of e-commerce, which differ from each other in organisation of deliveries, level of outsourcing, location for keeping stocks, level of logistics in customer service, and organisation of returns (goods returned by customers). The impact of the different e-commerce models on ecological, economic, and social priorities is then discussed.

    Neoddeliteľnou súčasťou prípravy budúcich učiteľov chémie je starostlivosť o bezpečnosť a ochranu zdravia (BOZP) a ochranu prostredia vo výchove a vzdelávaní. Cieľom príspevku je informovať o možnostiach vzdelávania budúcich učiteľov chémie v oblasti poskytnutia prvej pomoci pri intoxikácii odpadmi. Príspevok oboznamuje, s on-line inovatívnym študijným materiálom obsiahnutým v e-learningovom kurze pripravenom v rámci projektu KEGA (Kultúrna a vzdelávacia grantová agentúra) č. 044UKF-4/2017, ktorý je určený budúcim učiteľom. Pretože budúci učitelia chémie pracujú s chemikáliami, je dôležité pri manipulácii s nimi zamerať sa na nebezpečenstvá, ktoré ohrozujú nielen ich zdravie, ale aj okolité prostredie. Vzdelávacie témy kurzu analyzujú danú situáciu, hľadajú riešenia a východiská na zlepšenie aktuálneho stavu prostredia a ochranu zdravia. Príspevok opisuje nebezpečenstvá, ktoré hrozia pri práci v chemickom laboratóriu (požiar, výbuch a poranenie). Upozorňuje na dôležitosť predchádzania úrazom v pracovnom priestore dodržiavaním zásad bezpečnej práce. Poukazuje na dôležitosť výchovy a vzdelávania k dodržiavaniu BOZP a ochranu prostredia pre profesnú prípravu budúcich učiteľov chémie.
    An integral part of the preparation of pre-service teachers is learning about Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and protecting health in the field of education. The aim of this paper is to share information about possibilities regarding the education of pre-service chemistry teachers in the area of providing first aid in the case of intoxication by waste. This paper provides information about on-line innovative study materials contained in the e-learning course prepared with the help of the KEGA Project (Cultural and Educational Grant Agency) No. 044UKF-4/2017, which is focused on pre-service chemistry teachers. Since pre-service chemistry teachers work with chemicals, it is important to focus on dangers, which threaten not only their health but also the surrounding environment. The topics comprising the course examine the situation, look for solutions to improve the current state of the environment and maximise the protectionof health. This paper describes injuries, which can occur while working in a chemical laboratory (risk of fire, explosion, and injury). It draws attention to the importance of injury prevention in the workplace with adherence to the principles of safe working practises. This paper shows the importance of training and education concerning OHS compliance and health protection for pre-service chemistry teachers.

    The paper presents a synopsis of the evolution of methods and techniques up to the digital age and characterises the main aspects of behaviourist and constructivist models in order to study the development of new advanced pedagogical tools and methods in education science in constructivist environment. For the purpose of the study, an analysis of the technological evolution during the last decades and its impact on education science was made, with a special focus on virtual teaching and learning. The practical outcome of the study was a series of online seminars and workshops, prepared by the international team of the IRNet project. The keynotes and workshops were held during DLCC2017 Conference (Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Distance Learning, subtitle: Effective Development of Teachers’ Skills in the Area of ICT and E-learning) at the University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland.     Artykuł przedstawia przegląd ewolucji metod i technik nauczania aż do ery cyfrowej. Podaje charakterystykę głównych aspektów modeli behawiorystycznych oraz konstruktywistycznych w celu zbadania rozwoju nowych zaawansowanych narzędzi i metod pedagogicznych stosowanych w naukach o edukacji w środowisku konstruktywistycznym. Dla potrzeb badań dokonano analizy ewolucji technologicznej, jaka zaszła w ciągu ostatnich dekad, oraz jej wpływu na edukację, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem wirtualnego uczenia się i nauczania. Praktycznym rezultatem badańbyła seria seminariów i warsztatów przeprowadzonych online, które przygotował zespół projektu IRNet. Wystąpienia i warsztaty odbyły się w ramach przeprowadzonej w 2017 roku konferencji DLCC(Teoretyczne i praktyczne aspekty nauczania na odległość: efektywne kształtowanie umiejętności nauczycieli w obszarach ICT oraz e-learningu).

    In order to effectively promote the construction of the Yangtze River economic belt, it has become China’s national strategy to vigorously develop the river-sea-going transportation. In the present paper, theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and model test are combined together to develop flat-type river-sea-going ship which is characterized with larger loading capacity, lower fuel consumption, better performance on energy-saving and environmental-friendly, excellent economy and higher transportation efficiency. Key technologies on hydrodynamic performance, structural safety, energy-saving technology and green ship technology are investigated to develop the river-sea-going ship. The developed “4E” level ship has great significance to the implementation of national strategic deployment.

    The study presents the problem of an appropriate and comprehensive shaping of the living environment of senior citizens in institutional care, i.e. creation of a most accessible built environment for them. The currently prevailing conditions in Polish care institutions for senior citizens are continuously improving, however they do not completely fulfil modern requirements and European standards expected from such institutions. In order for such a facility to provide an appropriate living environment for senior citizens and function efficiently, they cannot be based only on precisely defined guidelines and design principles. They have to be based on knowledge concerning senior citizens, their problems, needs and expectations; they also have to take into account the results of qualitative research based on the principles of universal design and ergonomics.

    Amidst the booming e-commerce industry, the issue of its environmental impact is increasingly being raised. The fight for green solutions has become a hot topic in the wider e-commerce industry. The aim of this article is to determine the goals and challenges of green logistics taking into account the specificity of the e-commerce industry and to formulate conclusions for business practice in terms of green solutions. The research method used in this paper is the literature review, documentary method, the analysis of statistical data and desk research, analysis of industry reports and analysis of legal acts. The research material consisted of scientific publications, as well as Eurostat statistics, domestic and foreign reports, and expert opinions of national and international institutions. The obtained data and ex post results were the basis for own considerations. The results concern the comparison of traditional trade and e-commerce and their impact on the natural environment, the goals and challenges facing current green logistics. Next, the possible solutions for business practitioners are indicated.
    W dobie dynamicznie rozwijającej się branży e-commerce coraz częściej podnoszona jest kwestia jej wpływu na środowisko. Dziś przedsiębiorstwa nie mogą działać wyłącznie dla zysku kosztem środowiska, społeczeństwa, gospodarki, konsumentów i pracowników. Wśród przedsiębiorstw i konsumentów można zauważyć niewątpliwą potrzebę podejmowania ekologicznych działań, które mają znacznie mniejszy wpływ na środowisko naturalne. Z tego powodu walka o ekologiczne rozwiązania stała się gorącym tematem w szeroko rozumianej branży e-commerce. Artykuł poświęcony jest określeniu celów i wyzwań zielonej logistyki z uwzględnieniem specyfiki branży e-commerce. Sformułowano w nim wnioski dla praktyki biznesowej w zakresie „zielonych” rozwiązań. Zastosowaną metodą badawczą jest przegląd literatury, metoda dokumentacyjna, analiza danych statystycznych i desk research, analiza raportów branżowych i aktów prawnych. Materiał badawczy stanowiły publikacje naukowe, statystyki Eurostatu, raporty krajowe i zagraniczne, a także ekspertyzy instytucji krajowych i międzynarodowych. Uzyskane dane oraz wyniki ex post były podstawą do sformułowania własnych rozważań. Zaprezentowane w artykule wyniki dotyczą celów i wyzwań stojących przed współczesną „zieloną” logistyką. W artykule wskazano też możliwe rozwiązania dla praktyków biznesu.

    Purpose. The aim of the article is to analyse the peculiarities of implementing virtual conception “1 student – 1 computer” at the lessons of Ukrainian literature under conditions of cloud-oriented study environment. Methods. The core methods of material processing were theoretical and analytical, empirical (on the basis of observations and pedagogical experiment), mathematical methods and verification approaches. Results. At all times education remains a sensitive indicator of universal progress. Realities distinguish a vitally important competency among the educational competencies. It is a media competency. Anachronistic pedagogical methods slow down the processes of modernization of lessons causing a number of contradictions and loss of students’ motivation. The actuality of the research consists in overcoming these problems.We see the practical significance of the achieved results in implementing the unique approaches and methods of teaching of Ukrainian literature with the use of the technology “1 student – 1 computer”; in creation and spreading the recommendations about active overcoming the difficulties of virtual education; in forming the preventive measures which would make impossible the destructiveness of the method under study on the marginal educational levels.

W naszej pracy analizujemy otoczenie prawne, dostępne a także planowane usługi finansowane ze źródeł publicznych pod kątem zarówno otwierających się możliwości rozwojowych jak i zagrożeń dla podmiotów leczniczych.
    The health care providers elaborate and deploy their strategies should consider innovative technologies which support the main activities. The stage of development in the area is strongly diversified. The e-health and telemedicine solutions are included to the most important of such supporting tools. The success of the strategy depends on correct diagnosis of the opportunities and threats in the organizations’ environment. In the article the authors analyse the legal regulation and planned public-funded services which can create both new fields of activity and bring risk for health care providers.

    Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja i klasyfikacja instrumentów i narzędzi TI wykorzystywanych w nauczaniu zdalnym oraz omówienie szczególnie tych aplikacji, które mają zastosowanie w odniesieniu do e-learningu korporacyjnego w sektorze MSP oraz prezentacja wyników badań empirycznych. Przyjęto założenie, że osiągnięcie wysokiej efektywności nauczania możliwe jest tylko dzięki dopasowaniu narzędzi TI do przedmiotu i elementów e-learningowych. Do realizacji tak nakreślonego celu wykorzystano metody badawcze: analiza wyników badań poprzedników oraz ocena ekspercka narzędzi TI wykorzystywanych w korporacjach. W szczególności przedstawiono rozwój technologii informatycznych w nauczaniu zdalnym, scharakteryzowano systemy LMS i LCMS zapewniające sprawne i skuteczne przeprowadzenie szkoleń w trybie e-learningowym. W artykule przedstawiono również dyskusję wokół pojęcia zdalnego nauczania, e-learningu korporacyjnego, podkreślając przy tym znaczenie tego procesu dla rozwoju społeczno-gospodarczego kraju. Określono stadia rozwoju (generacje) technologii informatycznych wykorzystywanych w zdalnym nauczaniu oraz zaprezentowano formy szkoleń w trybie e-learningu. W zakończeniu artykułu podkreślono problem mniej znany szerszemu gronu czytelników, a mianowicie ograniczania wiedzy niejawnej w procesie zdalnego nauczania – stanowi to ważny czynnik w pozyskiwaniu wiedzy przez różne organizacje. Przekazując coraz więcej informacji, Internet i inne narzędzia IT tworzy coraz większe pokłady wiedzy niejawnej – co silnie oddziaływa na jakość podawanych informacji.
    The aim of the article is identification and classification of IT instruments used in remote teaching and discuss, especially these applications. They have use in regard to corporate e-learning. The assumption was approved that achievement of high teaching efficiency is possible only due to matching TI tools to the e-learning object and elements. The research methods were used to accomplishment such a presented purpose: analysis of research results of predecessors and expert assessment of TI tools used in corporations. In particular, the development of information technology in remote teaching was presented. In addition, LMS and LCMS systems were characterized to ensure efficient and effective carrying out a training course in e-learning mode. The article also shows a discussion about the concept of remote teaching, corporate e-learning. At the same time, the importance of this process for socioeconomic development of the country was emphasized. The stages of development (generations) of information technologies used in remote teaching were determined and forms of training in e-learning mode were presented. At the end of the article, the problem less known to a wider circle of readers is highlighted. Namely, limiting nonpublic knowledge in the remote teaching process – this is an important factor in acquiring knowledge by various organizations. By communicating more and more information, the Internet and other IT tools. They create ever-growing sets of secret knowledge – which strongly affects the quality of the information provided.

    A substantial part of the environmental issues relies on fossil fuels. This dependence is crucial in transport even though many incentives and interventions have been proposed to reduce pollutant emissions. Electric vehicles with zero emissions might represent a viable solution in urban areas. Many cities encouraged modal shift policies from cars to an e-bike or car-sharing/pooling with electric vehicle fleets. This paper reports the ongoing outputs from a pilot project, relying on a modal shift to the e-bike, promoted in the city of Messina (Southern Italy) by the Ministry of Ecological Transition. The objective is to assess, in the territorial context of Messina, the e-bike as a competitive transport mode in terms of social awareness of eco-friendly mobility solutions. The available dataset consists of about nine months of observations; data on total distance and trips have been gathered for each e-bike. It emerged how, in a typical working day, the average distance travelled is about 6.9 km, the usage rate for working days is about 81 %, and the carbon dioxide reduction is about 245 kg per person each year. During the project, information was also collected on the satisfaction with the e-bike and the quality of travel. It emerged that regular bicycle use has good repercussions on the interviewees' psycho-physical well-being, reducing the stress factor connected with urban mobility. Despite mechanical breakdowns and the lack of an infrastructure dedicated to active mobility representing a limitation, travel comfort and safety are two latent variables that are transver-sally valid within the population; about 15 % became familiar with the e-bike and made it their primary mode choice for everyday activities. In this sense, outputs represent a starting point for future policies and give back adjustments before introducing similar services to students from the university and second-grade schools.

    Wstęp W artykule przedstawiono charakterystykę źródła pola elektromagnetycznego (PEM), jakim jest stacja bazowa (base station – BS) telefonii komórkowej. Opisano najczęściej spotykane konfiguracje systemowe wraz z ich budową i omówiono specyfikę promieniowanego PEM w zależności od sposobu dostępu do usług telekomunikacyjnych i parametrów transmisji radiowej. Poświęcono także uwagę antenom, jakie są montowane na masztach BS i podano ich typowe parametry. Materiał i metody Analizie poddano wpływ poszczególnych składowych pola wieloczęstotliwościowego, jakie najczęściej jest spotykane w otoczeniu BS, na wypadkowe natężenie PEM mierzone za pomocą popularnych mierników szerokopasmowych. Przedstawiono przykładowe charakterystyki najczęściej spotykanych sond PEM i 2 scenariusze pomiarowe: w jednym źródłem PEM była wielosystemowa stacja bazowa z mikrofalowymi liniami radiowymi, w drugim – stacja bez linii radiowych. Wyniki Przedstawiono metodę pomiaru wieloczęstotliwościowego PEM za pomocą 2 sond szerokopasmowych, która pozwala na znaczne zminimalizowanie niepewności pomiaru. Wzory i przekształcenia, za których pomocą można obliczyć rzeczywiste natężenie PEM w otoczeniu źródeł wieloczęstotliwościowych, zweryfikowano w warunkach laboratoryjnych na specjalnym stanowisku wzorcowym wieloczęstotliwościowego PEM oraz w warunkach rzeczywistych – podczas wykonywania pomiaru istniejącej stacji bazowej z mikrofalowymi liniami radiowymi. Wnioski Metodykę pomiaru natężenia PEM w otoczeniu stacji bazowych z mikrofalowymi liniami radiowymi zwalidowano w warunkach zarówno laboratoryjnych, jak i rzeczywistych, co pozwoliło w znacznym stopniu ograniczyć niepewność pomiaru tak specyficznego źródła PEM. Jest to najbardziej optymalne podejście do przeprowadzenia oceny ekspozycji na PEM w otoczeniu BS. Alternatywną metodą oceny jest metoda ostrożności (o znacznie większej niepewności pomiaru) i metoda wyłączenia jednego ze źródeł (o bardziej skomplikowanej procedurze pomiarowej). Med.     Background This paper presents the characteristics of the mobile phone base station (BS) as an electromagnetic field (EMF) source. The most common system configurations with their construction are described. The parameters of radiated EMF in the context of the access to methods and other parameters of the radio transmission are discussed. Attention was also paid to antennas that are used in this technology. Material and Methods The influence of individual components of a multi-frequency EMF, most commonly found in the BS surroundings, on the resultant EMF strength value indicated by popular broadband EMF meters was analyzed. The examples of metrological characteristics of the most common EMF probes and 2 measurement scenarios of the multisystem base station, with and without microwave relays, are shown. Results The presented method for measuring the multi-frequency EMF using 2 broadband probes allows for the significant minimization of measurement uncertainty. Equations and formulas that can be used to calculate the actual EMF intensity from multi-frequency sources are shown. They have been verified in the laboratory conditions on a specific standard setup as well as in real conditions in a survey of the existing base station with microwave relays. Conclusions Presented measurement methodology of multi-frequency EMF from BS with microwave relays, validated both in laboratory and real conditions. It has been proven that the described measurement methodology is the optimal approach to the evaluation of EMF exposure in BS surrounding. Alternative approaches with much greater uncertainty (precaution method) or more complex measuring procedure (sources exclusion method) are also presented. Med Pr 2015;66(5):701–712

    The article is devoted to the problem of specification of approaches to the design and implementation of electronic educational courses in conditions of continuously and dynamically changing digital information and learning environment of the modern university. Based on the results of the content analysis of the digital infrastructure and regulatory documentation of the Siberian Federal University and the discursive analysis of the leading trends in the field of digital education, necessary conditions for a successful professional pedagogical activity are described. On the basis of smart education principles, possible solutions to the problems of teaching at university, such as personification of teaching, project-oriented courses and initiating the launch of mechanisms for students’ informal self-education are synthesized and justified.
