    Celem niniejszego opracowania jest ukazanie możliwości rozszerzenia oferty w ramach kulturoterapii na obiekty pozaszpitalne. W pracy przedstawiono możliwość prowadzenia kulturoterapii w środowisku wiejskim, która wiąże się ze zdrową żywnością jaka występuje na wsi, a także opisano procedury oraz tajniki kuchni wiejskiej i sporządzanych w niej dań. Następnie ukazano realizowanie kulturoterapii w Domach Pomocy Społecznej.
    The aim of this article is showing the possibilities of extending the offer within culture therapy objects outside the hospital. The paper presents the possibility of conducting culture therapy in rural areas, which is associated with healthy food that exists in the country, and also describes the procedures and the secrets of the country kitchen and prepared her dishes. Then the realization culture therapy shown in the Houses of Social Welfare.

    This article is an attempt to analyse the so-called culture of therapy in the context of two completely separate sciences – sociology of culture and neurobiology. The author’s deliberations on this subject are preceded by an introduction concerning the problems resulting from combining separate scientific paradigms, in particular the problem of reductionism and emergence of social phenomena. Further, the author puts forward a thesis that the culture of therapy is the result of anomie, whose direct cause is the lack of cultural homeostasis. The most visible indicator of this is the difficulty individuals have in constructing their identity. The culture of therapy seems to be an attempt to find an antidote to this state of affairs. The article concludes with a reflection on the competences necessary to construct a relatively coherent identity in the contemporary world.
    Artykuł stanowi próbę analizy tzw. kultury terapii w kontekście dwóch zgoła odrębnych nauk – socjologii kultury i neurobiologii. Prowadzone przez autorkę rozważania na ten temat poprzedza wprowadzenie dotyczące problemów wynikających z łączenia odrębnych paradygmatów naukowych, w szczególności problemu redukcjonizmu i emergencji zjawisk społecznych. W dalszej części autorka stawia tezę, że kultura terapii jest wynikiem anomii, której bezpośrednią przyczyną stał się brak homeostazy kulturowej. Najbardziej widocznym wskaźnikiem tego stanu rzeczy są kłopoty jednostek z konstruowaniem tożsamości. Kultura terapii zdaje się próbą poszukiwania antidotum na taki stan rzeczy. Artykuł kończą rozważania dotyczące kompetencji niezbędnych do konstruowania relatywnie spójnej tożsamości we współczesnej rzeczywistości.

    W recenzji książki Małgorzaty Kozubek Filmoterapia. Teoria i praktyka (2016) Stańczyk opisuje pierwszą w Polsce monografię dotyczącą terapii filmem oraz możliwości współpracy filmoznawców z psychologami. Recenzentka czyta książkę przez pryzmat jej prospołecznych celów, uznając, że Filmoterapia nie spełnia obietnic złożonych na wstępie. Książka Kozubek jest podzielona na trzy części: „Teoria”, „Między teorią a praktyką” oraz „Praktyka”. W pierwszej Kozubek opisuje podstawy teoretyczne (szczególnie mechanizm projekcji-identyfikacji) oraz kontekst społeczno-kulturowy (postnowoczesność i kultura terapeutyczna), w drugiej zastanawia się nad kluczem doboru filmów, kładąc nacisk na formuły gatunkowe jako współczesną formę mitów. Pobieżne i niekonsekwentne wnioski osłabiają wartość tych dwóch części, a jednocześnie wprowadzają język zbyt hermetyczny dla praktyków zajmujących się filmoterapią. Pomniejszają jednocześnie potencjał trzeciej, praktycznej części książki, ukazującej Kozubek jako humanistkę zaangażowaną.
    In a review of the book by Małgorzata Kozubek Filmoterapia. Teoria i praktyka [Film Therapy: Theory and Practice] (2016). Stańczyk describes the first monograph on film therapy in Poland and the possibilities of cooperation between film experts and psychologists. The reviewer reads the book through the prism of its pro-social goals, recognizing that Filmotherapy does not fulfil the promises made at the outset. Kozubek’s book is divided into three parts: Theory, Between theory and practice and Practice. In the first part of the book Kozubek describes theoretical foundations (especially the projection-identification mechanism) and the socio-cultural context (post-modernity and therapeutic culture), in the second she reflects on the key to selecting films, placing emphasis on genre formulas as a modern form of myths. Superficial and inconsistent findings weaken the value of these two parts, and at the same time the language used is too hermetic for practitioners involved in film therapy. At the same time, they reduce the potential of the third, practical part of the book, showing Kozubek as an engaged humanist.

    In the ongoing struggle of resocialisation pedagogy for its greater effectiveness, an important place is occupied by research and programmes on the use of various forms of cultural activity (meetings with culture and art) and artistic creation for social rehabilitation purposes. These activities perfectly fit into the interdisciplinary character of rehabilitation itself. In practice, many such projects are currently being implemented in Poland, including correctional facilities, juvenile shelters, and penitentiary units. Moreover, it is noteworthy that Polish rehabilitation can boast significant achievements in this field. The author suggests the existence of the undoubted influence of the background culture and mass culture on the effectiveness of rehabilitation. The tasks undertaken by social rehabilitation pedagogues and people involved in the re-use of different types of cultural engineering should consider the influence and the image of contemporary Western culture affected by the crisis of values. Presented concepts of resocialisation through cultural activity and artistic creation testify to a truly humanistic search for remedial shaping of socially maladjusted people and show an important current in contemporary resocialisation.

    Opis:
    Evaluation of the effi ciency of photodynamic therapy (PDT) in a hybrid microfl uidic culture system was studied. The geometry of the utilized microsystem for PDT procedures consists microchambers for cell culture and microchannels, which create a concentration gradient generator (CGG). 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) as a precursor of the photosensitizer was used. The geometry of the microchip allowed to test diff erent concentrations of ALA in a single assay. Evaluation of the effi ciency of photodynamic therapy was determined 24 hours after PDT procedure (irradiation with light which induced accumulated in carcinoma cells). The performed microsystem contained two independent micropatterns, that enables examination simultaneously various cell lines (carcinoma and normal) or various photosensitizers.

    A rapidly growing pharmaceutical industry requires faster and more efficient ways to find and test new drugs. One of the new method for cell culture and examining the toxic effects of drugs is application of microfluidic systems. They provide new types of microenvironments and new methods for investigation of anticancer therapy. The use of microsystems is a solution that gives the opportunity to reduce not only cost and time, but also a number of tests on animals. In this paper we present designed and fabricated hybrid microfluidic systems which are applicable for cell culture, cell based cytotoxicity assays and photodynamic therapy procedures. Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and sodium glass were used for fabrication of microdevices. The designed geometry of the microdevices includes cell culture microchambers and a concentration gradient generator (CGG). The CGG enables to obtain diff erent concentrations of tested drugs in a single step, which is a significant simplification of cytotoxicity assay procedure. In the designed microsystems three various cell lines (normal and carcinoma) were cultured and analyzed.

    The image, in general, is understood as an image, an image or a likeness. Nowadays, this concept is associated with its shaping and reception in order to influence the environment. Thinking about the image, first of all, its personal connotations are taken. Can you therefore analyze the image of an animal, and more specifically a horse? It turns out that yes, because this representative of the even-toed ungulate, accompanying man in his life since prehistory, appeared in art, including film. He was honored to be his object or rather subject. Among the many roles he had to play, there was also a humanizing role – the therapist. The aim of the article was to show the image of the horse as a therapist in selected film examples and its analysis.
    Изображение, в общем, понимается как образ, воображаемое или подобие. В настоящее время это понятие связано с его формированием и восприятием с целью воздействия на окружающую среду. Таким образом, думая об изображении, в первую очередь мы воспринимаем его личные коннотации. Можно ли анализировать изображение животного, а точнее лошади? Оказывается, да, потому что этот представитель парнокопытного млекопитающего, сопровождавший человека в его жизни с доисторических времен, появился в искусстве, в том числе в кино. Он имел честь быть его объектом, или, скорее, субъектом. Среди множества ролей, которые он должен был сыграть, была еще и гуманизирующая роль – роль терапевта. Цель статьи – представить образ лошади как терапевта в избранных примерах фильмов и проанализировать его.

    The article is an attempt to reflect on the current tasks faced by clinical psychology as a field of science and practice. These tasks stem from the constant need to improve the scientific level of this discipline and to solve problems connected with intensive social changes. We have considered the issues of globalization and the challenges it implies for clinical psychology, presenting selected theories of globalization and the patterns of reaction to these changes. We see evidence-based practice in psychology as a reflection of these transformations in science and clinical practice. In the article, we discuss the positive influence of this approach on the improvement of assessment practice standards and psychotherapy effectiveness, drawing attention to some negative consequences of universalization, particularly those that threaten human agency. Addressing and responding to these challenges requires close cooperation of researchers and practitioners, which was called for at the 1st National Clinical Psychology Conference in 2014.

    Artykuł podejmuje zagadnienie głosu na tle walorów terapeutycznych. Omawia różne jego aspekty od wieku prenatalnego w kontekście odbiorcy i nadawcy transponującego komunikaty i informacje jednym kanałem zmysłowym na drugi oraz ekspresji jako nadawcy. Wśród poruszanej problematyki kilka refleksji poświęcam oddechowi bezfonacyjnemu i z fonacją, ćwiczeniom logorytmicznym, roli śpiewu i mowy dźwiękowej. Zwracam uwagę na rolę, funkcje i wykorzystanie repertuaru wokalnego – pieśni ludowej funkcjonującej w środowisku niosącej przesłanie katartyczne, świadczące jednocześnie o tożsamości. Całość podsumowuje znaczenie użycia głosu i wykorzystania z odwołaniem do koncepcji muzykoterapeutycznej jako podnoszącej jakość życia i skoncentrowanej na kulturze. Celem analizy teoretycznej ujętej w tekście jest przedstawienie problematyki głosu w muzykoterapii. Deskrypcja, komparatystyka oraz interpretacja umożliwiły prześledzenie i zasygnalizowanie poruszanego zagadnienia. Kwerenda źródeł pozwoliła na analizę poszczególnych koncepcji muzykoterapeutycznych w aspekcie funkcjonowania w nich głosu. Najczęściej w koncepcjach funkcjonuje muzyka jako pojęcie ogólne bez uszczegółowienia miejsca i roli głosu. Rozważania na temat głosu jako zjawiska dźwiękowego oraz kolejne jego odsłony od mowy dźwiękowej i śpiewu jako rodzaju komunikowania ze strony nadawcy i odbiorcy pozwoliły na ujęcie go przez pryzmat elementów terapeutycznych. Pojawia się on jedynie w meloterapii, czyli w jednej z odmian koncepcji muzykoterapeutycznych polegających na śpiewaniu, jednak tu wysuwa się na plan pierwszy czynnik narracyjny będący formą terapii.
    The article deals with the issue of the voice as compared to therapeutic qualities. It discusses various aspects of the prenatal age in the context of the recipient and sender transposing messages and information through one sensory channel to another, as well as their expression by a sender. Among the discussed issues, a few thoughts are devoted to breathing with and without phonation, to rhythmic speech exercises and to the role of singing and sound speech. I draw attention to the role, functions and use of vocal repertoire – folk songs functioning in the environment which carry a cathartic message and are proof of identity at the same time. The conclusion of the article sums up the importance of the voice and using it based on the concept of music therapy as the one which improves the quality of life and is focused on culture. The aim of the theoretical analysis presented in the following article is to discuss the issue of the voice in music therapy. Description, comparative studies and interpretation have made it possible to trace and signal the discussed issues. Furthermore, the query of sources allowed for the analysis of particular music therapy concepts in terms of the voice’s functioning within them. Most often in the source literature, music functions as a general concept without specifying the place and role of voice. Reflections on the voice as a sound phenomenon and its subsequent differences from the sound speech and singing as a form of communication on the part of the sender and recipient allowed the study of the concept from the perspective of therapeutic elements. The concept of voice appears only in melotherapy that is, in one of the types of the concept of music therapy involving singing, yet it also comes to the fore here as a narrative factor which is a form of therapy.

    This study presents a critical analysis of the discursive sphere of interdisciplinary interaction between broadly understood textual studies, including studies of representation and literary criticism, and medical humanities. The article critically reconsiders the interpretative paradigm of text as (self-)therapy. The paradigm dominated the discourse of medial humanities, especially in the field of narrative medicine and is deeply rooted in literary studies of illness and disability narratives in Poland. While the paradigm is seen as a neutral scheme of interpretation in contemporary literary studies and medical humanities, it seems that it somewhat narrows down and reduces the scope of possible interpretations of experience-oriented texts (i.e. texts that create, represent, and validate a particular personal or communal experience), and especially the interpretations that reach beyond the texts towards activism and emancipation.

    Opis:
    Стаття присвячена питанням, що розглядалися під час міжнародної конференції „Мотив хвороби в історії літератури і культури посттоталітарних країн ЦентральноСхідної Європи”, що відбулася 6 листопада 2020 року. Основні теми доповідачів були сфокусовані на питаннях хвороби як дефекту у літературі, на травмі втрати, тематиці хвороби й зцілення у світовій літературі від її початку до сьогодення, включно з періодами Київської Русі, Ренесансом, Бароко і Модернізмом та побутування травматичного досвіду в наративах Голодомору, сучасної української жіночої прози і здатності українського сакрального і декоративного, а також сучасного жіночого мистецтва візуалізувати хворобу і допомагати митцям здолати свої травми.
    The article is dedicated to the issues considered during the international conference “The motive of the disease in the history of literature and culture of post-totalitarian states of Central and Eastern Europe”, which took place on November 6, 2020. The main topics of the speakers were focused on the disease as a weakness in the literature, the trauma of loss, the theme of illness and healing in world literature from its beginning to the present, including the periods of Kyiv Rus, Renaissance, Baroque and Modernism and the traumatic experience in the narratives of the Holodomor, Ukrainian women’s prose and the ability of Ukrainian sacred and decorative, as well as modern women’s art to visualize the disease and help artists overcome their injuries.
