Opis:
Let ₃ denote the variety of alternative commutative (Jordan) algebras defined by the identity x³ = 0, and let ₂ be the subvariety of the variety ₃ of solvable algebras of solviability index 2. We present an infinite independent system of identities in the variety ₃ ∩ ₂₂. Therefore we infer that ₃ ∩ ₂₂ contains a continuum of infinite based subvarieties and that there exist algebras with an unsolvable words problem in ₃ ∩ ₂₂.
It is worth mentioning that these results were announced in 1999 in works of the international conference "Loops’99" (Prague).

Step nesting designs may be very useful since they require fewer observations than the usual balanced nesting models. The number of treatments in balanced nesting design is the product of the number of levels in each factor. This number may be too large. As an alternative, in step nesting designs the number of treatments is the sum of the factor levels. Thus these models lead to a great economy and it is easy to carry out inference. To study the algebraic structure of step nesting designs we introduce the cartesian product of commutative Jordan algebras.

Opis:
The most elegant definition of singularities in general relativity as b-boundary points, when applied to the closed Friedman world model, leads to the disastrous situation: both the initial and final singularities form the single point of the b-boundary which is not Hausdorff separated from the rest of space-time. We apply Alain Connes' method of non-commutative geometry, defined in terms of a C*-algebra, to this case. It turns out that both the initial and final singularities can be analysed as representations of the C*-algebra in a Hilbert space. The method does not distinguish points in space-time, but identifies space slices of the closed Friedman model as states of the corresponding C*-algebra.

Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) attempts to find cryptographic protocols resistant to attacks by means of for instance Shor's polynomial time algorithm for numerical field problems like integer factorization (IFP) or the discrete logarithm (DLP). Other aspects are the backdoors discovered in deterministic random generators or recent advances in solving some instances of DLP. The use of alternative algebraic structures like non-commutative or non-associative partial groupoids, magmas, monoids, semigroups, quasigroups or groups, are valid choices for these new kinds of protocols. In this paper, we focus in an asymmetric cipher based on a generalized ElGamal non-arbitrated protocol using a non-commutative general linear group. The developed protocol forces a hard subgroup membership search problem into a non-commutative structure. The protocol involves at first a generalized Diffie-Hellman key interchange and further on the private and public parameters are recursively updated each time a new cipher session is launched. Security is based on a hard variation of the Generalized Symmetric Decomposition Problem (GSDP). Working with GF(2518) a 64-bits security is achieved, and if GF(25116) is chosen, the security rises to 127-bits. An appealing feature is that there is no need for big number libraries as all arithmetic if performed in Z251 and therefore the new protocol is particularly useful for computational platforms with very limited capabilities like smartphones or smartcards.

Generalized hypersubstitutions are mappings from the set of all fundamental operations into the set of all terms of the same language do not necessarily preserve the arities. Strong hyperidentities are identities which are closed under the generalized hypersubstitutions and a strongly solid variety is a variety which every its identity is a strong hyperidentity. In this paper we give an example of pre-strongly solid varieties of commutative semigroups and determine the least and the greatest pre-strongly solid variety of commutative semigroups.

Commutative Jordan algebras are used to express the structure of mixed orthogonal models and to derive complete sufficient statistics. From these statistics, UMVUE, (Uniformly Minimum Variance Unbiased Estimators), are derived for the relevant parameters, first of single models then of several such models. These models may correspond to experiments designed separately so our results may be seen as a contribution to this meta-analysis.

We propose building a new PKC in a ring structure, the classification of rings being an open problem. The difficulty of the scheme is based on retrieving the eigenvalues of endomorphism on a finite type module over a non-commutative ring. It is resistant to a chosen cipher text attack. Working in the fraction ring of a non-commutative ring makes our scheme a zero-knowledge proof of knowledge, result indistinguishable, in the Naor-Yung model. Finally, a dramatic improvement in security is obtained through the drawing with uniform probability of the working ring at high frequency.

Commutative Jordan algebras play a central part in orthogonal models. We apply the concepts of genealogical tree of an Jordan algebra associated to a linear mixed model in an experiment conducted to study optimal choosing of dentist materials. Apart from the conclusions of the experiment itself, we show how to proceed in order to take advantage of the great possibilities that Jordan algebras and mixed linear models give to practitioners.

We introduce the concept of very true operator on a commutative basic algebra in a way analogous to that for fuzzy logics. We are motivated by the fact that commutative basic algebras form an algebraic axiomatization of certain non-associative fuzzy logics. We prove that every such operator is fully determined by a certain relatively complete sublattice provided its idempotency is assumed.

The concept of a commutative directoid was introduced by J. Ježek and R. Quackenbush in 1990. We complete this algebra with involutions in its sections and show that it can be converted into a certain implication algebra. Asking several additional conditions, we show whether this directoid is sectionally complemented or whether the section is an NMV-algebra.

In this paper, we define the notion of PC-lattice, as a generalization of finite positive implicative BCK-algebras with condition (S) and bounded commutative BCK-algebras. We investiate some results for Pc-lattices being a new class of BCK-lattices. Specially, we prove that any Boolean lattice is a PC-lattice and we show that if X is a PC-lattice with condition S, then X is an involutory BCK-algebra if and only if X is a commutative BCK-algebra. Finally, we prove that any PC-lattice with condition (S) is a distributive BCK-algebra.

Commutative Jordan algebras are used to drive an highly tractable framework for balanced factorial designs with a prime number p of levels for their factors. In this paper we introduce the notion of a normal filter in BE-algebras (in transitive BE-algebras filters conicide with normal filters). Stair nesting allows us to work with fewer observations than the most usual form of nesting, the balanced nesting. In the case of stair nesting the amount of information for the different factors is more evenly distributed. This new design leads to greater economy, because we can work with fewer observations. In this work we present the algebraic structure of the cross of balanced nested and stair nested designs, using binary operations on commutative Jordan algebras. This new cross requires fewer observations than the usual cross balanced nested designs and it is easy to carry out inference.

This paper introduces the concept of single-valued neutrosophic hyper \(BCK\)-subalgebras as a generalization and alternative of hyper \(BCK\)-algebras and on any given nonempty set constructs at least one single-valued neutrosophic hyper \(BCK\)-subalgebra and one a single-valued neutrosophic hyper \(BCK\)-ideal. In this study level subsets play the main role in the connection between singlevalued neutrosophic hyper \(BCK\)-subalgebras and hyper \(BCK\)-subalgebras and the connection between single-valued neutrosophic hyper \(BCK\)-ideals and hyper \(BCK\)-ideals. The congruence and (strongly) regular equivalence relations are the important tools for connecting hyperstructures and structures, so the major contribution of this study is to apply and introduce a (strongly) regular relation on hyper \(BCK\)-algebras and to investigate their categorical properties (quasi commutative diagram) via single-valued neutrosophic hyper \(BCK\)-ideals. Indeed, by using the single-valued neutrosophic hyper \(BCK\)-ideals, we define a congruence relation on (weak commutative) hyper \(BCK\)-algebras that under some conditions is strongly regular and the quotient of any (single-valued neutrosophic)hyper \(BCK\)-(sub)algebra via this relation is a (single-valued neutrosophic)(hyper \(BCK\)-subalgebra) \(BCK\)-(sub)algebra.

As an example, linear models of vibratory system with damping and with one and two degrees of freedom are considered. This kind of models are frequently used to describe road and rail vehicles. There are vibrations induced by road profile. The appropriate action functional is proposed with the Lagrangian density containing: the kinetic and potential energies as well as dissipative one. Possible variations of generalized coordinates are introduced together with a noncommutative rule between operations of taking variations of the coordinates and their time derivatives. The stationarity of the action functional leads to the EulerLagrange equations.

Let X be any topological space, and let C(X) be the algebra of all continuous complex-valued functions on X. We prove a conjecture of Yood (1994) to the effect that if there exists an unbounded element of C(X) then C(X) cannot be made into a normed algebra.

The notions of a dual pseudo-Q algebra and a dual pseudo-QC algebra are introduced. The properties and characterizations of them are investigated. Conditions for a dual pseudo-Q algebra to be a dual pseudo-QC algebra are given. Commutative dual pseudo-QC algebras are considered. The interrelationships between dual pseudo-Q/QC algebras and other pseudo algebras are visualized in a diagram.
