Powodzenie w działaniach na współczesnym polu walki zdeterminowane jest wieloma czynnikami. Jednym z nich jest zapewnienie szybkiego, terminowego i nieoczekiwanego dla przeciwnika transportu żołnierzy. Pojazdy opancerzone, przewożące pododdziały w warunkach pola walki, powinny posiadać zdolność dojechania na stanowiska ogniowe, które mogą być położone w terenie, gdzie nie ma dróg utwardzonych a teren jest pofałdowany, górzysty lub podmokły. Zatem przystosowanie do pokonywania przeszkód terenowych przez pojazdy opancerzone powinno wynikać z ich ogólnego układu konstrukcyjnego, proporcji wymiarowych i masowych oraz z zastosowania specyficznych rozwiązań konstrukcyjnych w układach jezdnych i napędowych. Jednym z kryteriów oceny użytkowej kołowego transportera opancerzonego (KTO) są jego właściwości ruchowe, zwłaszcza w terenie. Można jednocześnie formułować różne, często odmienne, szczegółowo ukierunkowane kryteria oceny użytkowej jednego lub w celach porównawczych kilku KTO. W przypadku kryteriów o charakterze ilościowym możliwe jest otrzymanie globalnej ilościowej oceny użytkowej oddzielnie dla każdego KTO, co stwarza obiektywne warunki do porównawczej oceny ich konstrukcji. W referacie przedstawiono propozycję metodyki oceny użytkowej podwozia współczesnego kołowego transportera opancerzonego (KTO), którą oparto na rachunku wskaźników liczbowych. Wykorzystując sformułowane wskaźniki dokonano porównawczej ukierunkowanej i globalnej oceny użytkowej KTO Rosomak, którą odniesiono do innych współczesnych KTO.
A success in present combat field operation is determined by many factors. One of them is assuring of rapid, term and unexpected for the enemy troops transport. Armoured vehicles, transporting troops in combat field, should have an ability to reach gun sites, which may be placed in terrain, where are no hardened ways and terrain is undulating, mountainous or boggy. Armoured vehicles adaptation to terrain obstacles covering should result from their construction system, dimensions and mass' proportions and construction solutions of driving system and running gear. One of the criterion of operational appreciation of armoured personnel carrier (APC) is its mobility property, especially in terrain. Various and specialized in many details usable assessment criteria of one or a few (in comparison) KTO might be simultaneously formulated. In case of quantitative criteria it is possible to receive a global usable quantitative assessment for each KTO individually, what makes objective conditions to comparative assessment of their construction. In the paper there is presented a proposal of method of operational appreciation of modern armoured personnel carrier (APC) chassis based on numeral indexes. Using the defined indexes there was made the operational appreciation of APC Rosomak, which was compared to other modern APC's.

Success during combat on the modern battlefield is determined by numerous conditions. One of those conditions is a quich and unexpected (for the red force) transport of troops. Modern APCs (armoured personnel carrier) have similar terrain capability. Level of APCs adjustment to movement in a hard terrain conditions is the function of numerous indicators of its construction including e.g. correction of, usually specific, conditions for technical solutions of suspension or engine. It is possible to acquire global numericał indicator of APC utility evaluation, basing on e.g. evaluation of the terrain mobility. Such indicator is the objective way to estimate the level of fulfilling the technical specification of subject subgroup for tactical - technical specification by the APC construction. In the article is presented the proposal of methodical utility evaluation for modern APC chassis, which is based on account of proposed numerical indicators. Using the set indicators, we've provided comparison of directed and global evaluation of AMY Patria, towards other modern APCs. In the paper formulas of these indicators are described. The results of evaluation are presented on charts as well ensample types of terrain trials are shown on pictures.

This paper estimates the magnitude of the Baumol-Bowen and Balassa-Samuleson effects in the Polish economy. The purpose of the analysis is to establish to what extent the differential price dynamics in Poland and in the euro area and the real appreciation of PLN against EUR are explained by the differential in respective productivity dynamics. The historical contribution of the Baumol-Bowen effect to Polish inflation rate is estimated at 0:9 - 1:0 percentage points in the short run. According to estimation results, the Balassa-Samuelson effect contributed around 0:9 to 1:0 percentage point per annum to the rate of relative price growth between Poland and the euro area and 1:0 to 1:2 p.p. to real exchange rate appreciation. The long-run effects are of an approximately twice larger magnitude. Sub-sample calculations and productivity trends over the last decade suggest that this impact should be declining. However, its size is still non-negligible for policymakers in the context of euro adoption in Poland.

Powodzenie w działaniach bojowych na współczesnym polu walki zdeterminowane jest wieloma czynnikami. Jednym z nich jest zapewnienie szybkiego i nieoczekiwanego dla przeciwnika transportu wojsk. Współczesne kołowe transportery opancerzone (KTO) posiadają pozornie podobną mobilność terenową. Stopień przystosowania tych pojazdów do poruszania się w trudnym terenie jest funkcją wielu zmiennych ich układu konstrukcyjnego, w tym, m.in. poprawności doboru zwykle specyficznych rozwiązań w układzie jezdnym, zawieszeniu czy napędowym. Możliwe jest pozyskanie globalnego liczbowego wskaźnika oceny użytkowej KTO, uwzględniającego m.in. ocenę jego mobilności terenowej. Taki wskaźnik jest obiektywną miarą stopnia spełniania przez konstrukcję pojazdu przedmiotowej podgrupy wymagań taktyczno-technicznych. W artykule przedstawiono propozycję metodyki przeprowadzania oceny użytkowej podwozia współczesnego KTO, którą oparto na rachunku zaproponowanych wskaźników liczbowych. Wykorzystując sformułowane wskaźniki, dokonano porównawczej ukierunkowanej i globalnej oceny użytkowej AMV Patria 8 × 8, którą odniesiono do innych współczesnych KTO.

The discourse of advertising offers an environment conducive to the exploitation of novelty in language. Novelty can be conceptualised as an opposite of salience (Giora, 2003), being also a graded feature. Giora claims that there exists a specific level of novelty, which evokes pleasurable experience in recipients. She proposes Optimal Innovation Hypothesis, which may be implied in the investigation of various types of discourse marked with high originality. The paper reports on two studies. The initial one, described in Wojtaszek (2011), focused on the appreciation of three alternative versions of Polish and British advertising slogans, while the subsequent one is the attempt to find a relationship between the previous findings and the degree of legibility of the investigated texts. In the appreciation task the plain formulations received the lowest scores, followed by the highly innovative slogans, with the optimally innovative formulations ranking highest. In the task where evaluation of clarity was performed, the plain formulations turned out to be the easiest, the optimally innovative slogans were a bit more difficult, and the highly innovative ones the least conspicuous. A number of interesting dependencies were also found, suggesting further developments for the future.

In Slovenian schools pupils have few opportunities to observe, understand and enjoy works of art. Contemporary art education in Slovenia should aim to combine the development of productive and receptive artistic abilities. This would make more comprehensive artistic development of pupils possible. In this study we monitored the development of the art-appreciation abilities of 10–11-year old pupils in primary schools in northeastern Slovenia. Th e results show that the level of art-appreciation abilities is somewhat average, however, girls showed higher developed art-appreciation abilities than boys. Based on the results we can conclude that the development of art appreciation abilities in our art-education program is given too little attention.

The article analyzes the effects of the appreciation and depreciation of the Polish zloty against the euro. The author argues that sensitivity to the impact of exogenous shocks is a characteristic feature of small and medium-sized open economies, which also include Poland. According to Karp, exchange rate fluctuations are disturbances that have a strong impact on foreign trade, the price level and the entire economic system. Due to the complexity of the relationships between economic variables, an appropriate analysis must be conducted on a complete macroeconometric model, the author says. Analysis was conducted on a monthly model of the Polish economy (WM-1) that also contained asymmetric equations based on the threshold-error correction model (TECM). In two simulations, symmetric exogenous shocks – persistent for three months and directly causing the Polish zloty to either appreciate or depreciate – were assumed. These impulses set off the exchange rate multiplier effect and consequently the reaction of the whole economic system. The responses of the variables are asymmetric depending on the direction of the impulse, the author says. The simulation analysis shows stronger reactions when the zloty appreciates than when it depreciates. Although the initial impulse directly affects the “nominal” economy, its impact also influences the real economy by affecting production, investment and employment, the author concludes.
Celem artykułu jest analiza odmienności reakcji gospodarki Polski w zależności od zmian kursu walutowego wywołujących aprecjację lub deprecjację złotego względem euro. Cechą charakterystyczną gospodarek otwartych o małej i średniej wielkości, do których zalicza się również Polska, jest duża wrażliwość na oddziaływanie wielu egzogenicznych szoku. Wahania kursu walutowego są impulsami, które silnie oddziałują na wymianę zagraniczną, poziom cen i funkcjonowanie całego systemu ekonomicznego. Ze względu na złożoność relacji miedzy zmiennymi ekonomicznymi, przeprowadzenie właściwych analiz symulacyjnych możliwe jest jedynie na kompletnym modelu makroekonometrycznym. W tej roli wykorzystany został miesięczny model WM-1, który w swej strukturze zawiera również asymetryczne równania postaci TECM. W dwóch symulacjach przyjęto założenie o utrzymujących się przez trzy miesiące egzogenicznych symetrycznych szokach wpływających bezpośrednio na aprecjację i deprecjację kursu walutowego. Wprowadzone zaburzenia powodują uruchomienie mnożnika kursowego i w konsekwencji reakcję wszystkich zmiennych makroekonomicznych. W zależności od kierunku impulsu reakcja systemu ma charakter asymetryczny, zarówno pod względem siły reakcji, jak i szybkości powrotu do rozwiązania bazowego. Wyniki analiz symulacyjnych wskazują na silniejszą reakcję powodowaną aprecjacją złotego niż deprecjacją. Wprowadzone zaburzenie płynące bezpośrednio ze sfery nominalnej pobudza także zmiany procesów produkcji, inwestycji i zatrudnienia, a więc całej sfery realnej, i utrzymują się przez okres znacznie dłuższy niż okres oddziaływania samego impulsu.

In den Texten des deutschen Gangsta-Rappers Haftbefehl sind Anspielungen häufig zu beobachten. Sie verweisen auf spezifische kulturelle Kontexte und unterstützen die vom Publikum erwartete Inszenierung urbaner, gewalttätiger Kriminalität. Eine Aufwertung der Hauptfigur und Abwertung der Gegenspieler sowie typische Inszenierungskomponenten werden bei Haftbefehl durch Anspielungen und Anspielungscollagen realisiert. Der Künstler benutzt Anspielungen unter anderem, um einen Authentizitätseffekt zu erzielen. Gelegentlich werden dem Publikum durch Anspielungscollagen neue Bezüge als kohärent suggeriert.
W tekstach niemieckiego rapera Haftbefehla można dostrzec wiele aluzji i nawiązań. Wskazują one na specyficzne konteksty kulturowe i pomagają w – popularnej wśród publiczności – inscenizacji przemocy, związanej z miejską przestępczością. Dowartościowanie bohaterów utworów i dyskredytacja ich przeciwników a także typowe elementy sceniczne realizowane są przez Haftbefehla dzięki aluzjom i collagom, zawierającym aluzje. Artysta używa ich m.in. w celu uzyskania lepszego efektu, imitującego rzeczywistość. Czasem dzięki takim collagom sugerowane są publiczności nowe skojarzenia i związki między przedstawianymi historiami.
In the texts of Haftbefehl, a German gangsta-rap artist, we may observe a large number of allusions. They refer to a specific cultural context and support the stereotypical depiction expected by the public, of a violent urban criminality. A revaluation of the main character, and the discrediting of his opponents, as well as typical art elements, are realised by Haftbefehl, through the use of allusions, and collages consisting of allusions. The artist uses allusions to obtain among others, the effect of authenticity. Through these collages of allusions, he sometimes presents to the public new relationships and connections between depicted stories.

In the framework of special didactics, students in study programmes in the field of education develop a range of skills and abilities needed for teaching the content prescribed by the curriculum. Art is one of these subjects. In a qualitative empirical research study we examined the efficacy of a method for developing art appreciation. The sample in the study consisted of students from five different European countries. Students observed J.R. Gerada’s artistic work systematically, concurrently recording their findings. The empirical study confirmed the adequacy of such an approach, since most of the students were able to experience, internalise and individually interpret the artwork.

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHtR) uses several criteria/factors in determining the parameters of the margin of appreciation as to the definition or interpretation of a specific right or freedom defined in the European Convention on Human Rights. One of them is a European consensus among the state parties to the Convention. The way the ECHtR has implemented the methodology of finding this consensus has been clearly problematic. This applies especially to ECHtR's evaluation of the discriminatory practice of states under Article 14. Above all, it is unclear under what circumstances the ECHtR takes into consideration the practice of states. In addition, it is also unclear how it selects the comparative group of states and defines the specific threshold necessary for this consensus. It should be noted that the above considerations and remarks are fully justified in the light of the ECHtR's case law concerning the issues of adoption of children by homosexual persons (same-sex adoption).

Customer citizenship behaviour (CCB) is an important consumer trend observed in the contemporary market. It may be described as an extra-role, voluntary behaviour performed in favour of other customers or companies. One of the CCB dimensions, namely, providing customer feedback to company offering, overlaps with value co-creation as a booming marketing concept. Our knowledge about factors determining this behaviour is relatively week. Trying to fill the gap, this paper discusses inclination for value co-creation among customers on the basis of literature review and explorative research. This explorative study aims to identify some company-related and customerrelated antecedents to customer citizenship behaviour in the form of value co-creation in favour of companies. The theoretical deliberation is based on a critical literature review. The empirical part of the paper is based on explorative research in the form of a survey of 105 non-randomly selected customers. Aiming to identify the key drivers for customer inclination to participate in value co-creation, the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was conducted; next, the quality of factor structure was assessed with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 using standard measures of validity; and finally, structural links between the inclination to co-create and distinct antecedents were estimated using the partial least square structural equitation modelling technique (PLS_SEM). The factor analysis suggested distinguishing two aspects of customer co-creation, i.e., either initiated by companies (Organised Co-Creation) or by customers (Spontaneous Co-creation). The estimated PLS structural model shows that only some casual paths were found statistically significant, i.e., the appreciation showed by companies towards customers engaging in the organised co-creation process (as extrinsic motivation) and customer innovativeness, as well as the fulfilment of the need for stability (as intrinsic motivation) with regards to spontaneous co-creation. The ex-post moderation analysis with the help of the PLS_MGA algorithm enabled to identify gender as the factor potentially explaining inter-group differences in the structural model.

Aesthetics is thought of as not only a theory of art or beauty, but also includes sensibility, experience, judgement, and relationships. This paper is a study of Bernard Stiegler’s notion of Aesthetic War (stasis) and symbolic misery. Symbolic violence is ensued through a loss of individuation and participation in the creation of symbols. As a struggle between market values against spirit values human life and consciousness within neoliberal hyperindustrial society has become calculable, which prevents people from creating affective and meaningful attachments to symbols in relation to our retentional apparatuses, technology and memory. Such tension can be thought of as a dissonance between overlapping domains of social life, private and public. New Media is a reflection of aesthetic dissonance, an experience such as being bored and entertained at the same time, between antagonistic experiences, values, and behavior. Moreover, new media is at once a medium of customizing aesthetic experience individually as well as the threat and practice of prioritizing calculability and modeling of consumer behavior in favor of capitalistic effectiveness, which results in the simultaneous categorization of an individual as a data point, putting those who do not fit an algorithm’s premises at a disadvantage.
Estetyka jest rozumiana nie tylko jako teoria sztuki lub piękna, ale także obejmuje wrażliwość, doświadczenie, osąd i relacje. Artykuł ten jest studium Bernarda Stieglera na temat pojęcia wojny estetycznej (staza) i nędzy symbolicznej. Przemoc symboliczna następuje w wyniku utraty indywiduacji i udziału w tworzeniu symboli. Jako walka między wartościami rynkowymi a wartościami duchowymi życie i świadomość ludzka w ramach neoliberalnego społeczeństwa hiper-przemysłowego stała się obliczalna, co zapobiega tworzeniu przez ludzi afektywnych i znaczących przywiązań do symboli w odniesieniu do naszych aparatów retencyjnych, technologii i pamięci. Tego rodzaju napięcie można postrzegać jako dysonans zachodzący pomiędzy nakładającymi się na siebie dziedzinami życia społecznego, prywatnego i publicznego. Nowe media są odzwierciedleniem dysonansu estetycznego, takiego doświadczenia jak bycie zanudzonym i rozbawionym jednocześnie, pomiędzy antagonistycznymi doświadczeniami, wartościami i zachowaniami. Co więcej, nowe media są zarazem medium indywidualnego dostosowywania doświadczeń estetycznych, a także zagrożeniem i praktyką nadawania priorytetu obliczalności i modelowaniu zachowań konsumentów na rzecz kapitalistycznej efektywności, co skutkuje jednoczesną kategoryzacją jednostki jako punktu danych, co stawia w niekorzystnej sytuacji tych, którzy nie pasują do założeń algorytmu.

The gloss deals with the judgment issued by the ECtHR on 25 October 2018 concerning freedom of expression as provided for in Article 10 ECHR. In the case of E.S. v. Austria the ECtHR agreed with domestic courts that the applicant’s statements concerning the marriage life style of Muhammad were “inciting hatred or religious intolerance” read in the light of Article 188 of the Austrian Criminal Code. During the public debate, the applicant made a reference to “paedophilia”, while talking about 56-year-old Muhammad having sexual intercourse with his 9-year-old wife Aisha. The main thesis of the author of this gloss is contrary to the ECtHR judges’ viewpoint, especially in the context of the facts of the case and the previous Strasbourg case law. Going further, the author presents her fears that the visible and ongoing Islamisation of Europe starts to have its potential impact on the judicial authorities and their attitudes in cases connected with some sensitive issues of Islam. The author’s opinion concerns both the domestic and regional courts’ attitudes.
Glosa dotyczy wyroku wydanego przez Europejski Trybunał Praw Człowieka (ETPCz) w dniu 25 października 2018 r., dotyczącego swobody wypowiedzi w rozumieniu art. 10 Europejskiej Konwencji Praw Człowieka. W sprawie E.S. przeciwko Austrii ETPCz zaakceptował stanowisko 300 GLOSS IUS NOVUM 2/2019 sądów krajowych, które uznały stwierdzenia powódki dotyczące stylu pożycia małżeńskiego Mahometa jako „wzniecające nienawiść lub nietolerancję religijną” w rozumieniu art. 188 austriackiego kodeksu karnego. W trakcie debaty publicznej powódka nawiązała do „pedofilii”, rozważając fakt seksualnego współżycia 56-letniego Mahometa z jego 9-letnią żoną Aiszą. Główna teza autorki niniejszej glosy jest odmienna, szczególnie w kontekście okoliczności analizowanej sprawy oraz w świetle dotychczasowej strasburskiej linii orzeczniczej. W dalszej kolejności, autorka wyraża swoje obawy o to, że widoczna i postępująca islamizacja Europy zaczyna wywierać potencjalny wpływ na władze sądowe i ich postawy w sprawach dotyczących szczególnie drażliwych zagadnień Islamu. W opinii autorki zjawisko to dotyczy postaw zarówno sądów krajowych, jak i regionalnych.
