Opis:
Team cohesion, teamwork and team building are important constructs regarding teams and their performance in various organizations and environments. In this review, we summarize the current state of research on the influence of digital games on team cohesion and related constructs. We found a total of 7 studies that fit the criteria, resulting in 18 outcomes. Among the 18 outcomes that improved throughout the intervention, 15 reported significant improvement from the intervention and 3 reported no significant differences. Specifically, team communication, task delegation, atmosphere, trust, team flow, team performance and goal commitment were the most improved sub-constructs by team building video gaming interventions. The majority (n = 9) of those with significant improvements post-test were from randomly controlled trials (RCTs) with single or two control groups. Overall, we found that team video gaming may be effective in supporting team cohesion or team building; however, to enhance the understanding of the relationship between digital games and team cooperation, it is recommended to extend or vary gameplay intervention times, prioritize diverse outcome measures, address reporting biases, conduct follow-up assessments, include diverse populations and report demographics, and recognize the specific effects of different game features on outcomes.

Opis:
Human capital management in sustainable development conditions means, in everyday practice, taking care of the welfare of employees, understood, i.a., as a friendly atmosphere in a team, stable, and free from stress and conflicts. The author has analysed several cases of conflicts in employee teams connected with personnel movement in order to answer the following research questions: What are the characteristics of employee teams susceptible to the emergence or escalation of conflicts to levels destructive for the organisation, what types of interpersonal conflicts escalate in the analysed situations, which factors are a catalyst and which factors block conflict? Conclusions from the analysed cases allow the author to describe the main threats of destructive conflict and put forward recommendations for human capital management.

The article deals with the subject of recruitment of a candidate for a creative team in manufacturing company. For this purpose, a recruitment model has been developed. It consists of three main stages: preliminary selection of candidates, assessment of the predispositions of the selected candidates to work in a team and creative team building. The authors developed recruitment model of a candidate for a creative team includes a set of tools supporting the assessment at each stage. In the first stage concerning the preliminary selection, a competence Questionnaire for working in a creative team, was developed. The second stage includes the assessment of a candidate’s predispositions with the use of original tools for assessing creativity, a tool supporting the monitoring of employees’ activity in proposing innovative solutions and assessment center methodology. The principles of AC remained the same. The competences that a creative team should possess were adjusted to the tool. Tasks were proposed in order to assess these competences. The tool itself is ready for application. In the subsequent stage of research, the tool in question will be tested in selected companies and evaluated. The last stage concerns the team building. The tool used at this stage is the Questionnaire for assessing the role in the team. While creating a recruitment model of a candidate for a creative team, of the selected companies team leaders were consulted.

Opis:
In the past the gas industry focused its interest and major investments mainly on the early life of the reservoir and on the development and constant maintenance of production. But times change and currently for depleted gas reservoirs defined as reservoirs in an advanced stage of decline, energy and production should be considered as potential additional energy sources. The ideal time to start managing a reservoir is at its discovery, but Romgaz has a new approach regarding project management implemenatation for depleted gas fields. The strategy presumed, a multidisciplinary team of geophysicists, geologists, reservoir engineers, production engineers and economists. These multidisciplinary teams evaluated existing information and build up a plan for new data acquisitions, the data was integrated, processed, interpreted and correlated in a study with following objectives: -Construct 3D geological model to estimate resources. -Use reservoir engineering to estimate remaining reserves and expected ultimate recovery. -Use results of the study to identify new development opportunities on the field and forecast production scenarios. Success for this challenge depended on: -working as a team; -openness, flexibility, communication, and coordination; -persistence.

Opis:
Purpose: This paper is a continuation and development of the same authors two papers which 10 have been published recently, and have been devoted to the Quality of Project Team in classical – in the project management methodology sense – approach. The presented paper pertains to the notion of quality of project team in Scrum project management framework. A paradox is observed in the state of art of the project team quality in project management. All specialists recognize the exceptional importance of the parameter “quality” for the final result of the project. On the one hand, one can easily find definitions of project quality, quality of product 16 of the project, quality of the project management processes, and so on. On the other hand, a huge majority of bibliographical sources consider the project team functioning, as a sine qua non condition of the project success. The notion “Scrum Team Quality” appears seldom in the literature. In this paper an approach is proposed to fill in this gap. Design/methodology/approach: In this paper an approach is proposed, by the proposal of the model, based on fuzzy numbers, which defines the Scrum Team Quality, its measure, and the processes of such quality management. The process of Scrum Team Quality Management building consists of: Scrum Team Quality definition, methods of such quality measurement, and three phases of Scrum Team members selection: processes of MBTI – first pre-selection, Belbin – second pre-selection, and Scrum Team Quality standards complying as a final selection of the Scrum Team, insuring its optimal content. Findings: The appropriate model of Scrum Team quality management using fuzzy numbers is developed. Originality/value: The originality of the paper consists in: defining the Scrum Team management quality, the manner of its measurement using fuzzy numbers, and exemplary simulations of Scrum Team members selection using Belbin method, equipped with fuzzy numbers apparatus.
