The present research relates to relationships between procrastination and a university subject. It included 84 students of pre-school and early school pedagogy, psychology and economics as well as an additional group of extramural students of management being in employment. They were asked to fill up the Pure Procrastination Scale Questionnaire. Findings indicate that a tendency to procrastinate is highest in students of pre-school and early school pedagogy, and psychology. Moreover, the tendency to procrastinate was most clearly manifested in the behavioral domain, which suggests lack of self-efficacy and/or poor time management. The results obtained proved to be statistically significant, yet they should be treated with caution due to a small sample of the examined subjects. They, however, point to the direction of further research.

Undoubtedly, the school subject called “Sport” has an educational objective. Yet, the question whether in order to set this task and complete it in class the notion of “education standards” is necessary, and primarily whether this phrase will practically support this subject, seems justified. The notion of “education standard” has been introduced in relation to school theoretical subjects for comparative purposes between the EU states (PISA studies). It did not pertain to PE classes, however, Physical Education teachers in Germany and in Austria joined this process without any deeper analysis. The present paper first gives a short insight into the discussion and education standards in school sport in Germany and Austria. It also presents the concept of sports classes oriented in this manner with the use of an example and it focuses extensively on the threats connected with sport at school, which is supposed to be taught in accordance with the set education standards.

Introduction: Exercise at various durations and intensities impact on blood and stem cells. This pilot study examined the effects of 30 minutes of treadmill walking on hematological indices and progenitor stem cells CD34+ in healthy subjects. Materials and methods: A total of 17 non-smoking, healthy students, aged 20 to 22 years participated. Hemoglobin, hematocrit, white blood cells, platelets, and stem cell CD34+ numbers were assessed before and after moderate exercise. Statistical analyses examined the relationships between CD34+ cells versus hematological indices, age, and body mass index. Results: Following exercise, significant increases were observed in leukocytes, neutrophils, eosinophils, and CD34+ cells numbers. For CD34+ cells, a fourfold increase was seen. Significant correlations between CD34+ cells, white blood cells, and neutrophils were found. Conclusion: Our results suggest that moderate exercise has a physiological impact on hematologic parameters and stem cells CD34+ in healthy subjects. Furthermore, our findings suggest that brief treadmill exercise may enhance tissue repair mechanisms so important in physiotherapy.

As far as market activities are concerned, we deal with resolution of problems which arise in neuralgic areas (contacts, feedback) and are responsible for the flow of different kinds of resources (tangible and intangible). In most cases, logistic subjects, treated as formal organisations, take part in the process of solving them. These organisations must be managed to function properly in the market economy. Hence, the nature of management and implementation of its basic functions have been indicated in the paper. Particularly, the attention was paid to the planning as the basis for all activities by a formal organisation. Theoretical arguments have been supported by selected examples, connected, in many cases, with the activities of logistic subjects.

Im Beitrag wird das Thema Schwarzer Humor, im englischsprachigen Raum als black humor bezeichnet, aus interkultureller Perspektive betrachtet: Der Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit den Besonderheiten des deutschen schwarzen Humors am Beispiel seiner thematischen Klassifikation. Die Thematik des deutschsprachigen schwarzen Humors wird in zwei große Gruppen unterteilt: universelle und kulturspezifische Themen. Darüber hinaus wird ein Versuch unternommen zu ermitteln, welche kulturspezifischen Elemente in den humoristischen Texten für die Humorgenerierung bei Deutschen bedeutend sind.
The article sheds light on the topic of black humor from an intercultural perspective. The research deals with the peculiarities of German black humor on the basis of its thematic classification. The subject of German black humor is divided into two major groups: general and cultural-specific subjects. In addition, an attempt is being made to identify which cultural-specific elements in the humorous texts are important to humorous reproduction in Germans.

In the days of the visual culture a manner of the transmission of information plays a very important role. Adopting a technique of the join of text, graphics, sound and animation in frames of the uniform structure of presenting data, particularly in the education, it is possible to achieve good results in handing over of knowledge than at using only one of the media. The article presents the results of research devoted to the influence of visual and textual teaching materials, on the level of assimilation of knowledge subjects and their involvement in the assimilation of content. The analysis of the results showed that the visualization of teaching content is a factor significantly activating the educational process and affecting the level of knowledge assimilation.

Postcolonialism in Poland – a feminist proposition In this article I try to introduce the feminist postcolonial theory in the analysis of several recent texts and projects which have been discussed in Poland and where the postcolonial, situated knowledge can be observed as one allowing the analysis of Polish peasantry, as an important element of the feminist art criticism or as a way of discussing Poland as semi-peripheric in its relation to “the West”. I discuss the debates over the music project R.U.T.A. and theater piece In the name of Jakub S., I also argue, that the application of postcolonial theory could transform the exhibition Gender Check into a genuinely feminist project. Postcolonialism is discussed here as theory directly indebted in the legacy of Karl Marx, theorist which seems irreplaceable in the contemporary cultural studies. The arguments for the last thesis is supported with references to some already historical materialist and decolonial feminist theories.

Over the last few decades, scientists exploring the aspects of engineering education and investigating the strong connection between the engineering profession and society have argued for a more rounded, holistic approach to the engineering curriculum. In addition to fundamental technical subjects, they have proposed the inclusion of a broad range of social subjects in order to equip young engineers with social and communication skills relevant for teamwork, and to enhance their awareness about both the way social changes influence the implementation of certain engineering solutions and about the way develop-ments in engineering have a considerable impact on society in general. This paper presents the results of a two-year qualitative study of the importance of social subjects within the engineering academic curriculum at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Ar-chitecture in Zagreb, Croatia.

Introduction: The aim of the work was to evaluate one-time recording of ENG and VNG in healthy subjects selected for the given diagnostic tests with reference to the sensitivity and usefulness of this kind of testing in vertigo diagnostics. Material and methods: The tests covered 50 healthy subjects, including 24 women and 26 men aged 20-22 (the mean age of 20,5 years) who did not report any inconvenience from otorhinolaryngological organs and the conducted interview did not reveal any balance disorder or vertigo. Every patient underwent otoneurological subjective and objective tests, electronystagmography (ENG), including a calibration test, head-tracking test, optokinetic nystagmus test, rotatory chair test, positional tests according to Cawthorne and Rose, a Hallpike caloric test as well as videonystagmography which included a calibration test, spontaneous nystagmus evaluation, head-tracking test, positional tests according to Cawthorne and Rose with a head rotation test and Hallpike caloric test. The above tests were performed separately, 24 hours one by one. One-time recording of ENG and VNG was made 48 hours following the last test while each of the two tests was preceded by an additional calibration test. The final recording included the spontaneous nystagmus evaluation, positional tests according to Cawthrone and Rose together with the head rotation test and Hallpike caloric test. Results: Any negative mutual influence of the conducted tests has not been observed. Both in the one-time and separate recording, the caloric test revealed lower values of the mean velocity of the nystagmus free phase in ENG with relation to VNG. No signs from spontaneous nystagmus, as well as optokinetic and positional nystagmus, could be found in any case. Conclusions: The conducted tests did not show any possibility of mutual exclusion of the given ENG and VNG diagnostic tests one-time recording. However, their use in diagnostics of balance disorders and vertigo requires further studies

Wprowadzenie: Celem pracy była ocena jednoczasowego zapisu badania ENG i VNG u osób zdrowych dla wybranych testów diagnostycznych pod kątem czułości i przydatności tego rodzaju badania do diagnostyki zawrotów głowy. Materiał i metody: Badania wykonano u 50 osób zdrowych, w tym 24 kobiet i 26 mężczyzn, w wieku 20-22 lata (średnia 20,5 roku), które nie zgłaszały dolegliwości ze strony narządów otorynolaryngologicznych i bez zaburzeń równowagi i zawrotów głowy w wywiadzie. U wszystkich chorych wykonano badanie podmiotowe i badanie przedmiotowe otoneurologiczne, badanie elektronystagmograficzne (ENG), w tym kalibrację, próbę wahadła, badanie oczopląsu optokinetycznego, test fotela wahadłowego, próby położeniowe wg Cawthorne’a i Rosego, próbę kaloryczną wg Hallpike’a, oraz badanie wideonystagmograficzne (VNG), które obejmowało kalibrację, ocenę oczopląsu samoistnego, próbę wahadła, testy położeniowe wg Cawthorne’a i Rosego, rozszerzone o test skrętu szyi, próbę kaloryczną wg Hallpike’a. Wyżej wymienione badania przeprowadzono najpierw oddzielnie, w odstępie 24 godzin. Jednoczasowy zapis ENG i VNG wykonano po 48 godzinach od badań poprzednich, co poprzedzone zostało wykonaniem ponownej kalibracji dla obu zapisów. Wspólny zapis obejmował ocenę oczopląsu samoistnego, testy położeniowe wg Cawthorne’a i Rosego, rozszerzone o test skrętu szyi, próbę kaloryczną wg Hallpike’a. Wyniki: Nie stwierdzono wzajemnego negatywnego wpływu jednego rodzaju badania na drugie. W teście kalorycznym, zarówno w zapisie jednoczasowym, jak i wykonanym oddzielnie, zaobserwowano niższe wartości średniej prędkości wolnej fazy oczopląsu w badaniu ENG w stosunku do badania VNG. W żadnym przypadku nie stwierdzono cech obecności oczopląsu samoistnego, jak również oczopląsu optokinetycznego i położeniowego. Wnioski: Z przeprowadzonych badań wynika, że jednoczasowe zapisy wybranych testów diagnostycznych za pomocą ENG i VNG wzajemnie się nie wykluczają i mogą być wykorzystane w diagnostyce zaburzeń równowagi i zawrotów głowy, co wymaga dalszych badań.

Two human clinical studies were performed. One was an open-label non-controlled study involving 30 healthy female subjects for 8 weeks. Significant improvements were observed by combining 6 mg per day oral supplementation and 2 ml (78.9 μM solution) per day topical application of astaxanthin. Astaxanthin derived from the microalgae, Haematococcus pluvialis showed improvements in skin wrinkle (crow's feet at week-8), age spot size (cheek at week-8), elasticity (crow's feet at week-8), skin texture (cheek at week-4), moisture content of corneocyte layer (cheek in 10 dry skin subjects at week-8) and corneocyte condition (cheek at week-8). It may suggest that astaxanthin derived from H. pluvialis can improve skin condition in all layers such as corneocyte layer, epidermis, basal layer and dermis by combining oral supplementation and topical treatment. Another was a randomized double-blind placebo controlled study involving 36 healthy male subjects for 6 weeks. Crow's feet wrinkle and elasticity; and transepidermal water loss (TEWL) were improved after 6 mg of astaxanthin (the same as former study) daily supplementation. Moisture content and sebum oil level at the cheek zone showed strong tendencies for improvement. These results suggest that astaxanthin derived from Haematococcus pluvialis may improve the skin condition in not only in women but also in men.

Research of modern thesaurus of “coordination” concept and generalization according to deductive analysis of different scientific views allowed us to conclude that coordination should be considered in the form in which it acts at the level of management practice. In a specific manifestation in public administration, coordination is vigorous activity of the subject that stipulated the disclosure of its essence through the managerial relations thesaurus and its related categories: managerial interrelations, managerial interaction, managerial communications. It is proved that for the public administration system the most appropriate classification is the division of managerial relations, depending on the way of achieving the end result of public authorities staying in relations: subordinated, coordinative, reordinated.

The article introduces research focused on mapping the current situation of (non)interest of primary-school students in technical fields and especially verification of whether the (non)interest is linked to the popularity of technically oriented subjects at primary schools. Opis:
Procesy emancypacyjne, z jakimi mamy współcześnie do czynienia, wprowadzają istotne zmiany w stylu życia kobiet, w ich podejściu do organizacji czasu i w poruszaniu się w przestrzeni. Ta wolność dotyczy nie tylko podróży w sensie fizycznym, ale również daje prawo „wymyślania nowych sposobów postępowania z naszym życiem, nowych schematów przedstawiania nas samych”. Pojawił się też większy dostęp do innego stylu życia, jakim jest nomadyzm. Metaforę pojęcia „nomada”, „nomadyzm” wprowadzili do obiegu m.in. Kenneth White, Gilles Deleuze czy Rossi Braidotti, oraz znalazło się w literaturze współczesnej. Na potrzeby tej pracy przedstawię obraz kobiety nomadki i nomadycznego stylu życia w analizie porównawczej dwóch powieści – Piaskowej Góry i Chmurdalii Joanny Bator. Osobą łączącym obie powieści jest główna bohaterka – Dominika.
The emancipation processes we are dealing with nowadays introduce significant changes in women’s lifestyle, their approach to the organization of time and their movement in different areas of life. This freedom applies not only to the journey in the physical sense, but also gives the right to „invent new ways of dealing with our life, new patterns of presenting ourselves”. Therefore, a greater access to a different lifestyle – nomadism – has emerged. The metaphor for the concept of the nomad and nomadism was implemented by Kenneth White, Gilles Deleuze, Rosi Braidotti and then it was also found in contemporary literature. For the purpose of this thesis, I will present the image of a nomadic woman and the nomadic lifestyle based on comparative analysis of two novels – ‘Piaskowa Góra’ and ‘Chmurdalia’ by Joanna Bator. The character who connects both novels is the main heroin – Dominika.

The study primarily deals with the influence of media on perception of political subject agendas by the media audience. It will concentrate on the strategy of political subjects whose utmost objective is to provoke the specific effect – to draw attention of media and recipients and to force them to pay attention to their agendas. It underlines the practices of political subjects in gaining influence on media as well as on the public by offering their own agendas. W artykule podjęto próbę przybliżenia problematyki społecznego wartościowania pracy zawodowej nauczycieli, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem specyfiki ich funkcjonowania w środowisku wiejskim. W tekście zaprezentowano przemiany społecznych oczekiwań wobec nauczyciela w środowisku wiejskim w świetle literatury, a następnie dokonano prezentacji wyników własnych badań nad społecznymi oczekiwaniami wobec pracy nauczycieli na wsi w wymiarze temporalnym. A zatem, jak praca ta jest postrzegana przez podmioty edukacyjne będące w różnym wieku, a także, co się z tym wiąże, znajdujące się w innym usytuowaniu czasowym swego życia (cyklu życia), jak i czasu historycznego (pokolenia): uczniów, studentów kierunków nauczycielskich wywodzących się ze wsi, rodziców oraz dziadków i innych mieszkańców wsi.
The article is an attempt to present the issues of social evaluation of teachers’ professional work, with particular emphasis on the specificity of their functioning in a rural environment. The text presents the changes in social expectations towards teachers in rural areas in the light of literature and then shows the results of the author’s own research on social expectations towards teachers’ work in rural areas in a temporal dimension, which includes the presentation of how their work is perceived by education subjects of different age and, therefore, in different times of their lives (life cycle) and historical time (generation): pupils, students of teaching faculties coming from rural areas, parents and grandparents, as well as other inhabitants of rural areas.

In its 90 years of modern existence, Turkish foreign relations with Russia reflect contentious issues with which the two republics have grappled during the twentieth century and following the collapse of great empires, civil wars and radical changes in the international political system. Moreover, it is safe to say that the degree of constructiveness of these relations is directly dependent upon macropolitical processes in Eurasia, and that the success of foreign political contacts reflects the level of political and cultural thinking of state elites in both countries. One of the most important directions of Russian–Turkish bilateral relations is inter-regional cooperation on the subject of the Russian Federation and Turkey. This paper analyzes the main directions and pace of economic cooperation development between Turkey and Russia’s constituent entities, and evaluates the prospects of these relations.
За 90 лет существования современной Турции её внешнеполитические отношения с Россией отражали те актуальные проблемы, с которыми две республики столкнулись в ХХ в. после распада великих империй, гражданских войн и кардинальных изменений политического строя. Более того, можно с уверенностью сказать, что от степени конструктивности этих отношений напрямую зависели многие макрополитические процессы в Евразии, а успех внешнеполитических контактов отражал уровень политико–культурного мышления государственных элит двух стран. Одним из важнейших направлений российско–турецких двусторонних отношений является межрегиональное сотрудничество между субъектами Российской Федерации и турецкими вилайетами. В работе проанализированы основные направления и темпы развития экономического сотрудничества Турции с субъектами РФ, оцениваются перспективы этих отношений.

Goal – is based on an analysis of legislation and law enforcement practice, to determine the features of constitutional‑legal entities in the context of building an electronic state in the Republic of Belarus and foreign countries. Research methodology – general scientific methods: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction. Private legal methods: a method of formal legal analysis, a method of interpreting law, a comparative legal method. Results/score – the following constitutional principles should come to transform because of develop of digital reality: the principle of neutrality of information technologies and the principle of accessibility of information on the Internet. Originality/value – the study is original, not previously published. The value is determined by the conditions of building electronic states in the world that are developing both objectively and at the level of legal regulation, which increases the importance of identifying the characteristics of the subject composition. At the same time, constitutional and legal relations are of primary importance, which are basic, basic to all other sectoral legal relations.

The situation in the east of Ukraine actualized issues of the state security. The attempts to identify subjects of public policy, who influenced on reduce level of national security of Ukraine, are made in this article. The author considered different approaches to the definition of public policy, kinds of its subjects. Scientists understand public policy as a state policy; as society policy, which protects the society interests; associate it with transparent policy; define it as statements and activities of politicians who were promulgated. Different definitions of the public policy research showed that it depends on scientific interests of the researcher. For example, specialists of administrative law usually identify public policy with state policy, and therefore understand it as a program and activities of the state authorities. In the same time political scientists consider public policy widely, as programs, activities, power struggle of different political and social actors, whose ideas are promulgated and it can become part of state policy. Public policy is a very dynamic phenomenon in the modern world and has many features in each country. Transformation processes in different spheres of social life are still occurring in Ukraine. There are still no established mechanisms through which state policy can be formed and realized. Social and political forces use different ways of influence on decision-making by state authorities. Thus public policy in Ukraine do not need to be identified only with the state policy («American tradition»), but it need to be understood as a purposeful activity of active representatives of state authorities, social and political forces that have a clear goal, spread their ideas in society and try to implement it through legislation («European tradition»). The author offers subjects of public policy to divide into external and internal. Representatives of power of another state (states) and international political and social forces are external subjects of public policy. Representatives of state power, political and social forces of the same state (or one political union) are internal subjects of public policy. Expressions, statements, activities of representatives of Russian Federation (external subjects of public policy), which influenced on reducing level of national security of Ukraine, are given in this article. Also there are showed the list of subjects, who according to Ukrainian legislation, should detect and prevent threats to national security. Instead of this internal subjects of public policy made statements and accepted the legal acts that contained threats to the national security of Ukraine. The author noted the problems that became public reasons for conflicts in Ukraine. External and internal subjects of public policy mostly used the ethnic, linguistic and religious contradictions of Ukrainian society to reduce the security of t he state. Influence external and internal subjects of public policy on Ukraine security were powerful. Deliberate and well organized their activity was conducted in several directions and contained different ways: 1) forming of anti-Ukrainian ideology; 2) creating organizational structures which must spread this ideology (political parties, associations, and even religious organizations); 3) searching supporters of this ideology among representatives of state authorities; 4) implementation of main provisions of ideology in state policy; 5) adoption of legislation corresponding to this policy. This practice, according to the author, suggests that public policy is neutral notion. It doesn’t mean that this policy is created and implemented for benefit of society. This qualitative characteristic can be used only for some kinds of public policy, when its aim really is provide interests of society.

W artykule przypomniano powody niedoboru w polskim górnictwie węglowym wykwalifikowanych i obytych z warunkami dołowymi młodych górników. Scharakteryzowano dydaktykę prowadzoną na Wydziale Górnictwa i Geologii Politechniki Śląskiej w zakresie ważnych przedmiotów zawodowych. Omówiono Pole Szkoleniowe znajdujące się w podziemnych wyrobiskach KHW S.A. KWK „ Wujek ", gdzie prowadzone są zajęcia dla uczniów szkół ponadgimnazjalnych zdobywających zawód górnika. Opisano zajęcia laboratoryjne w zakresie aerologii górniczej dla studentów kierunków eksploatacja złóż i zagospodarowanie odpadów (EZiZO) oraz budownictwo podziemne i ochrona powierzchni (BPiOP), które również prowadzone są (na podstawie zawartej umowy) w Polu Szkoleniowym. Podkreślono znaczenie bezpośredniego kontaktu z warunkami dołowymi zarówno studentów, jak i uczniów szkół ponadgimnazjalnych i nowo przyjętych pracowników.
The article points out that the Polish mining industry lacks qualified young miners who would be familiar with the conditions of the mine underground. The authors presented the didactics run at the Faculty of Mining and Geology of the Silesian University of Technology in the range of important specialized subjects. The training field placed in the underground of the Wujek mine was described. The field serves as a practical training place for students of secondary mining schools. Additionally, the article de- scribes laboratory classes in the field of mining aerology for students of deposits exploitation and waste management faculties as well as underground construction and surface protection faculties. These classes are run on the training field as well based on an agreement. The authors stresses the significance of direct contact with underground conditions for polytechnic students, secondary school students and newly recruited miners.
