Opis:
The article touches upon the problem of Ukrainian-Polish musical contacts in the context of the cultural diversity of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. It is confirmed that the complexity of the topic lies in the need to comprehend two different cultural traditions and their contexts, as well as in an attempt to discover the true structures of these relationships. It is noted that the defining feature of Ukrainian-Polish cultural relations in the first half of the nineteenth century were not professional contacts between Polish and Ukrainian music, but the connection of culture with culture and Polish music with Ukrainian culture. The result of these contacts was the use of Ukrainian folklore by Polish composers. Particular attention in the article is drawn to the fact that the Galician burgher culture formed the same lifestyle and common values, and was also a homogenizing factor among the heterogeneous population of the region. This gives grounds to speak of the existence of a layer of musical unconscious common to the peoples of Galicia, which was spontaneously used in the then composer’s practice. It was borrowed mainly from German and Polish cultures, which music, due to certain circumstances became an integral part in the system of musical thinking of Galician amateur composers. In this context, the patriotic choral works of Ukrainian music by M. Verbytsky are considered, in which he often uses intonations and rhythms borrowed from the Polish music.

Стаття досліджує стереотипи іноземних студентів китайських університетів про китайців, та вплив стереотипів на формування світогляду у іноземних студентів стосовно Піднебесної. Результати показали, що іноземні студенти змінили своє ставлення до китайських студентів після навчання у Китаї.
Artykuł analizuje stereotypy zagranicznych studentów chińskich uczelni na temat Chińczyków oraz wpływ stereotypów na kształtowanie się światopoglądu studentów zagranicznych na temat Niebiańskiego imperium. Wyniki pokazały, że studenci zagraniczni zmienili swoje nastawienie do chińskich studentów po studiach w Chinach.
The article examines the stereotypes of foreign students of Chinese universities on the Сhinese people, and the influence of stereotypes on the formation of world outlook in foreign students in relation to the Celestial Empire. The results showed that foreign students have changed their attitude to Chinese students after study in China.

Opis:
In recent decades, in the post-Soviet area, an interest of linguists in religious subjects has been increasing. Linguists undertake a large-scale research on the religious image of the world. Studying the Bible gains in importance, and the attention of many researchers focuses on the multi-facited description of phraseological units of the biblical origin. In contemporary Russian linguistic analyzes, there are two approaches to the study of phraseological expressions of biblical provenance: in accordance with the Russian or western research traditions. Representatives of both fields of study refer in their works to the achievements of Russian or foreign scientists. The resulting studies are typologically diversified. Among them you can find literary, philosophical and linguistic works, articles of historical and cultural character, descriptive and comparative works (created on the basis of material from several languages), experimental dictionary publications and other types of scientific texts. The present article is a presentation of the most important, in my opinion, works on the religious image of the world.

The article shows that archaic language is one of the components and methods of the detection of historical memory of Ukrainians. The analysis of the use of such elements in Old Ukrainian literary language of the 14-18th centuries., in Ukrainian literary language of the 19-20th centuries and in modern Ukrainian dialects has proved “Ukrainianness” of some archaic elements of the Ukrainian language, which are perceived by the language awareness of the modern Ukrainian as elements of the Russian language rather than the elements of its national identity in the diachronic dimension, as these words do exist in the modern Russian literary language, while in the New Ukrainian literary language they are replaced by other lexemes. It is shown that such archaisms in the language awareness of educated Ukrainians, including writers, acquire additional connotations and update their historical memory.

The article reveals the actual for the modern human knowledge problem of specific of national culture in a European context through a philosophical and theoretical analysis of the cultural phenomenon of symbiosis as a major mechanism of Belarusian tradition. Author proves that the history and logic of the Belarusian-Polish cultural relations can be represented as a sequence and set of several "cultural experiences". Considered specifics of the Polish-Belarusian literature Romanticism as one of the most representative manifestations of the symbiotic nature of cultural correlations of Belarus. It is concluded that "the Belarusian cultural model" as a model of synthetic boundary cultural co-existence can be regarded as one of the most productive and heuristically important ones for a globalizing world.

The article is devoted to the study of value systems which determine the sacred dimension of the socio-cultural experience of the people. Sacramental is considered not in the religious context, but as the highest value that lies outside the understanding. Sacramental is an indicator of the state of culture. The change in the social environment, ideological orientations (which is inherent to immigrants at one time or another) causes a change in sacred values. It is proved that, having fallen into an inocultural environment, a person strives to preserve their national identity, which helps to get „rooted” in the new place. It also provides preserving their unique image in the alien socio-cultural environment and guarantees a sense of security, stability, cultural uprooting. In the works of Canadian authors of Ukrainian origin, the sacred space of the individual’s personal existence is determined by the higher spiritual values created by his own people; and hence – is formed due to the sensation of religious representations, the fatherland’s land of Ukraine, the native language, elements of national culture and history, common national myths, historical memory.

This article explores the social and cultural life of the historical circumstances of the Cossack Hetmanate under the rule of Hetman Danylo Apostol in the 1727–1734. Based on lesser-known archival and published sources the main forms of cultural and spiritual life of Ukraine in the very time period is highlighted: education, literature, church building. Particular attention is paid to cultural policy, main areas of cultural and spiritual development and features of the Hetmanate cultural space in the context of adaptation or confrontation of the autonomous Cossack Ukraine vis-à-vis policy of centralization and incorporation of the newly emerging Russian Empire. Iinternal connections and patterns of Ukrainian cultural process in the late Baroque, its role and place in the formation of Ukrainian national identity are traced.

The present article contains a trial of setting in order, terms connected with world’s representation notion for example: language, cultural, ethnical or conceptual world’s view notion, conceptosphere, but are also defined in various ways by research workers, who took up research of mutual language, culture, ethos, and national mentality connection. Na podstawie materiału badawczego obejmującego okres od XIX do początków XXI wieku omówiono tradycyjne żałobne obrzędy Białorusinów. Przeanalizowano żałobną tradycję na Dzień Zmarłych, Zielone Świątki, „Radanica” i Wielkanoc. Scharakteryzowano warianty nazw obrzędów, wskazano na ich cechy regionalne oraz lokalne różnice, opisano chronologię obrzędów i ich stan współczesny. Wyniki badań mogą zostać wykorzystane przy analizie światopoglądu i wierzeń Białorusinów, jak również przy rozwiązywaniu problemów natury etycznej związanych z historią regionu.
The article discusses traditional calendar funeral rituals of Belarusian people based on ethnographic material of the period from the 19th century to the beginning of the 21st century. Such traditions as All Souls’ Day, Pentecost, “Radanitsa” and Easter have been described. The author describes varieties of ritual names their regional and distinctive features, an order of ritual activities, and their modern form. The results of the analysis are useful not only to show ideals and beliefs of Belarusians, but also to solve ethical problems connected with the history of the region.
