In an empirical quantitative study, the aim of which was to examine more thoroughly the representation of recognition and appreciation of the individual abilities of children in preschool education from the point of view of students, 321 respondents participated – students of the first and second cycles of preschool education programmes of faculties from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia. The main findings of the study indicate that although students highly value the recognition and appreciation of individual abilities in working with children, the degree of recognition of children’s abilities is higher in relation to their appreciation in practice, as well as a more optimal appreciation of the individual abilities of children without than with developmental difficulties.

Celem artykułu jest skonfrontowanie postmodernizmu rozumianego jako doktryna filozoficzna, czy, szerzej, pewien typ świadomości kulturowej z ponowoczesnością jako epoką stanowiącą wyraz przemian późnego kapitalizmu. Związki między postmodernizmem I ponowoczesnością analizowane są w perspektywie filozoficzno-socjologicznej poprzez porównanie diagnoz ponowoczesnych przemian przedstawionych przez przedstawicieli postmodernizmu i diagnoz przedstawionych przez socjologów ponowoczesności. W pierwszej części omawiam znaczenie technologii cyfrowych, w których postmoderniści pokładali nadzieję na wyzwolenie potencjału ludzkiej kreatywności, w drugim ponowoczesne procesy indywidualizacji związane z ideą samorealizacji. W konkluzji dochodzę do przekonania, że ponowoczesność sprzeniewierzyła się głoszonym przez postmodernizm ideom wolności, kreatywności, samorealizacji, solidarności.  W konkluzji wyrażam przekonanie, że ponowoczesność sprzeniewierzyła się ideom wolności, kreatywności, samorealizacji, solidarności głoszonym przez postmodernistów, które zgodnie z ich nadzieją miała ona urzeczywistnić. 
The aim of the article is to confront postmodernism understood as a philosophical doctrine, or, more broadly, a certain type of cultural awareness with postmodernity as an epoch expressing the changes of late capitalism. The relationships between postmodernism and postmodernity are analysed from a philosophical and sociological perspective by comparing the diagnoses of postmodern changes presented by sociologists and the diagnoses presented by representatives of postmodernism. In the first part, I discuss the importance of digital technologies, in which postmodernists hoped to unleash the potential of human creativity, and in the second, the postmodern processes of individualization related to the idea of self-realisation. Finally, I reach the conclusion that postmodernity has betrayed the ideas of freedom, creativity, self-realisation and solidarity proclaimed by postmodernists which, according to their hopes, postmodernity was supposed to realise.

Commemoration in public space is usually associated with the creation of official objects related to important events or individuals, most often in the form of monuments or plaques. In the paper, the author considers alternative forms of commemoration which, by existing in the social space, invade privacy, taking into account not only artistic activities such as Stolpersteine/Gunter Demnig’s “stumbling stones” but also, for example, candles or flowers at accident sites. So, the author examines non-monumental forms of commemoration and considers the questions related to the reception of these objects, including their penetration into common cultural spaces.

Great social processes (cultural megatrends) such as structural and functional differentiation, institutional specialization, socio-cultural pluralism, worldview competition and individualisation play an important role in secularized societies. Under the contemporary conditions of the social modernisation and individualization and pluralisation that are all connected, crucial transformation of the religious and moral values and beliefs takes place. In the paper the accent attention is paid to a couple of important issues: social and cultural context of individualisation as well as the influences of the structural individualism on religious life of contemporary people. These influences lead to a specific “fragmentarisation” of the Church as well as to the evolution from the Church religiosity to pluralised, segmented, deregulated and individualized religiosity.

Artykuł ten dotyczy problematyki podżegania jako formy zjawiskowej czynu zabronionego na gruncie regulacji obowiązującego kodeksu karnego z 1997 r. Autor dokonuje kompleksowej analizy znamion podżegania na tle pozostałych postaci zjawiskowych oraz przedstawia ogólne koncepcje odpowiedzialności za przestępcze współdziałanie, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem teorii Juliusza Makarewicza. Ponadto w artykule poruszone zostały zagadnienia związane z podżeganiem, które budzą największe rozbieżności i kontrowersje w doktrynie oraz orzecznictwie. Struktura tekstu obejmuje w pierwszej kolejności przedstawienie sprawczych postaci współdziałania, uregulowanych w art. 18 § 1 k.k., a więc jednosprawstwa, współsprawstwa, sprawstwa kierowniczego i sprawstwa polegającego na wydaniu polecenia. Analizie poddane zostało również pomocnictwo jako forma zjawiskowa mająca, w odróżnieniu, niesprawczy charakter. Zasadnicza część artykułu obejmuje zagadnienie podżegania jako odrębnego czynu zabronionego, w tym przede wszystkim kompleksowe omówienie wszystkich elementów strony przedmiotowej i podmiotowej tego czynu zabronionego. Niezostały pominięte także kwestie związane z wymiarem kary dla podżegacza. Autor skupił się również na ważkiej problematyce „krzyżowania się” podżegania z formami stadialnymi czynu zabronionego.
This article addresses incitement as a one of the forms of criminal complicity under the current regulations of the Polish Penal Code of 1997. I conduct a comprehensive analysis of all the elements of the incitement against the background of other phenomenal forms of complicity and present the general concepts of criminal liability for incitement, with special reference to Juliusz Makarewicz’s theory. In addition, I discuss the most important issues related to incitement which have generated divergence of opinion and controversies in the doctrine and case law. My article presents the causative forms of criminal cooperation as regulated by Art.18 § 1 of the Polish Penal Code, i.e. a crime committed by a single individual, conspiracy, the organisation and directing of the commission of a crime, and ordering the commission of a crime. My analysis also covers aiding and abetting as a phenomenal but, by contrast, non-practising form. Te main part of my article looks at incitement as a separate prohibited act, and includes a comprehensive discussion of all the elements of the objective and subjective side of this prohibited act. I have not overlooked issues relating to penalisation of abettors. I have also addressed the important issue of the “overlap” of incitement with the various stages in the commission of a forbidden act.

Along with the description of contemporary societies, including the indication of clear tendencies towards „individualisation” of lifespan, focusing on subjects that observe themselves with reflection, an issue appears regarding the creation of a community, including the educational one. A peculiar outline of the reflexive modernity is recognised on the basis the ways how individuals achieve social integration.Des pite the differentiating forms of social and cultural life, the foundation of the accomplishment of self and the society, is still „community”, which constitutes an encouragement to enter the issue of social (dis)integration, an inspiration allowing to bestow a defined sense on democracy, and socialization processes. Therefore, the need to consider the issues of communities arises, including their confirmation in education. To present a path for social integration, with the full awareness that in modern societies the „common good” ideal is being lost, one should be accompanied by indications regarding education itself. One may reduce them to how the community constituted due to and within education, ensured the integration of all entities concerned, and helped accomplish democracy.

Glosa omawia aktualną problematykę uznawania tożsamości narodowej za dobro osobiste. Opracowanie zawiera argumenty wskazujące, że tożsamość narodowa, wbrew stanowisku Sądu Apelacyjnego, nie powinna podlegać cywilnoprawnej ochronie ze względu na niespełnianie konstrukcyjnego wymogu indywidualizacji idealnego interesu oraz brak możności sformułowania wszystkich roszczeń cywilnoprawnych chroniących to dobro. W glosie omówiono również kwestię kultu pamięci osoby zmarłej. Naruszenie komfortu psychicznego nie będzie naruszeniem dobra osobistego, gdy niespełniony jest wymóg indywidualizacji, nie tylko podmiotu, którego dobro osobiste zostało naruszone, ale i osoby zmarłej, co Sąd Apelacyjny powinien przeanalizować.
The commentary discusses the current issue of recognizing national identity as a personal interest. The commentary includes arguments indicating that national identity, contrary to the Appeal Court’s view, should not be subject to civil law protection due to the failure to meet the constructional requirement of individualisation of an ideal interest and the inability to formulate all civil law claims protecting this good. The gloss also presents the issue of the cult of memory of the deceased. Violation of the psychological comfort is not deemed a breach of the personal interest when the requirement of individualisation is not fulfilled, not only of the person whose personal interest has been violated, but also of the deceased, which the Appeal Court should analyse.

Opis:
The issue of continuity and changeability of morality has always hypnotised sociologists. The morality of the youth embraces a very broad spectre of questions, their variety and specific character. Therefore of necessity we shall limit ourselves to several more important problems. At the same time we shall not put the into a hierarchy according to their degree of importance. In the study we shall analyse some manifestations of moral attitudes among the youth from secondary schools, from four urban milieus (the Ten Commandments as the basis of morality, moral relativism, the relation to marital and family moral norms and the attitudes towards euthanasia). The Department of the Sociology of Religion of the John Paul II Catholic University conducted a research programme in the years 2002-2005. In this period 2005 subjects from the third grades of secondary schools (Radom, Włocławek, Łomża, Ostrów Mazowiecka) were examined. The moral attitudes of the youth towards some norms of Catholic ethics have been presented with the view to the following independent variables: gender, type of school, place of dwelling, material situation of the family, fathers' education, and the young people's achievements at school. One could claim with some probability that the secondary school youth becomes more aware of something that is called non-transparent, dispersed, or post-modern morality. The crisis of institutionalised Catholic morality can be barely noticed at the level of the most general moral principles (e.g. the Ten Commandments), but it is quite clear in concrete ethical principles connected with marital and family morality. The actual morality is full of inconsequencies and selectivity, up to the point of full heterodoxy. In particular, the moral message of the Church in relation to many questions connected with marriage and family become more and more of secondary importance in the awareness and activity among young Catholics. In this context, John Paul II's moral teaching was also accepted selectively in the awareness of the part of the young generation called „JP II Generation”. His moral authority was more accepted as a solemn value than a value of everyday life.

The article discusses the sense of community of contemporary residents of the north-eastern Polish borderland. The process of individualisation and the contemporary direction of interpreting the concept of community constitute the background of the analyses. The adopted pedagogical perspective of narration has set out both the theoretical foundations of the presented research results, as well as their interpretation, stressing the importance of the local environment and its cultural nature as factors determining an individual’s consciousness of belonging to a community and taking responsibility for it. The article presents selected aspects of the statistical analysis of the sense of community and their interpretation.

The aim of this article is to highlight these aspects of individualisation within the learningteaching-process of foreign languages, which are attainable in public schools. These methods may require more teachers` effort, but their implementation needs particularly a new attitude and a different usage of the recourses available at school, which is a concern of inclusive didactics. In the first part of the article the origin of individualisation in the process of learning and teaching foreign languages will be discussed. In the second part a conducted research concerned with the individualisation of teaching foreign languages in primary schools will be presented.

W artykule podejmuję złożoną tematykę indywidualizacji nauczania w szkole. Próbuję odpowiedzieć na pytanie, czy w szkole jest ona możliwa do zrealizowania. Pokazuję tę wielowymiarowość, zaczynając od różnego rozumienia indywidualizacji i uwzględniając jej historyczne pochodzenie. Następnie analizuję zapisy dotyczące indywidualizacji nauczania w prawie oświatowym. W dalszej kolejności pokazuję czym jest indywidualizacja nauczania w szkole według badaczy zajmujących się tym zagadnieniem. Indywidualizacja na poziomie deklaratywnym oznacza respektowanie niepowtarzalności ucznia, zaakcentowanie jego aktywności oraz emancypację. Indywidualizację na poziomie zaleceń do realizacji w szkole cechuje zgoda na kreowanie własnej drogi w sytuacji wysokiej standaryzacji i instytucjonalizacji. Indywidualizacja nauczania traktowana jest też instrumentalnie jako droga do osiągnięcia innych celów. Poza tym ograniczone stosowanie indywidualizacji związane jest z przywiązaniem do zasad jednolitej i masowej szkoły.
In this article, I address the complex subject of individualised teaching at school. I explore in how far individualised teaching is achievable at school. To capture this multidimensional issue, I first discuss various understandings of individualisation and its historical embeddedness. Then, I analyse legal provisions regulating individualised teaching and outline researchers’ positions on individualised teaching. At the declarative level, individualisation means respecting the uniqueness of the student, emphasising his/her activity and promoting his/her emancipation. In terms of recommendations for school-based policies, individualisation entails endorsing individual paths amidst high standardisation and institutionalisation. Individualised teaching is also treated instrumentally as a means to other ends. Besides, the limited use of individualised teaching is associated with the attachment to the principles of a uniform, mass school.

W artykule wyjaśnione zostało pojęcie indywidualizacji oddziaływań resocjalizacyjnych. Następnie autor cytuje wyniki badań własnych dotyczących różnych przejawów indywidualizacji oddziaływań wychowawczych stosowanych w praktyce badanych ośrodków. Autor dostrzega potrzebę systematyzacji procesu resocjalizacji w badanych ośrodkach między innymi przez wprowadzenie jednolitego planu dnia lub podstawy programowej wychowania resocjalizacyjnego.Rozwiązania te prowadzić mają do uporządkowania i dookreślenia oddziaływań resocjalizacyjnych.
The article explains the notion of individualisation of the social rehabilitation measures. In addition the author refers to the findings of its own research of different forms of individualisation of the social rehabilitation measures applied in practice in the youth educational centres. The author identifies the need for the rationalisation of the social rehabilitation process in the researched centres through, among others, the introduction of the uniform daily schedules and the core curriculum of social rehabilitation. Such solutions should lead to better organisation and specification of the social rehabilitation measures.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie specyfiki kaszubskiej stylizacji językowej (zasobu środków stylizacyjnych i funkcji stylizacji) w powieści gdańskiego pisarza Pawła Huellego Śpiewaj ogrody. Kaszubska stylizacja językowa w tej powieści jest dość bogata i zróżnicowana, choć nie obejmuje zbyt obszernych fragmentów tekstu. Bohaterowie kaszubscy mówią żywą, autentyczną kaszubszczyzną lub przeplatają ją z językiem polskim (mają bowiem także polskojęzyczną kompetencję językową). Zwykle są rozumiani przez Polaków. Ponadto w powieści pojawiają się też (stosunkowo nieliczne) elementy leksykalne kaszubskie dla nazwania elementów i zjawisk z życia rodzinno-obyczajowego Kaszubów i ich kultury. Pisarz przywołuje także w powieści wyznaczniki folkloru kaszubskiego, opisuje obyczaje kaszubskie i podkreśla długotrwałą obecność Kaszubów na Pomorzu. Wszystkie te elementy stylizacji dobrze współgrają z konsytuacją, podkreślają koloryt epoki i środowiska, uwypuklają autentyzm postaci, podkreślają wierność bohaterów obyczajom i tradycjom, często też są motywowane koniecznością informacyjną tekstu. Język kaszubski jest w powieści Huellego również przedmiotem zainteresowania sam w sobie – jako nośnik tradycji i kultury, a Kaszubi zostają przedstawieni jako pomost pomiędzy światem odchodzącym w przeszłość (światem niemieckojęzycznych mieszkańców Gdańska) a światem nowym (światem napływających do tego miasta po drugiej wojnie światowej Polaków).
The purpose of the article is to present the uniqueness of the Kashubian linguistic stylisation (of the resources of stylistic means and stylisation of functions) in the novel by the Gdańsk writer Paweł Huelle entitled Śpiewaj ogrody. The Kashubian linguistic stylisation in that novel is fairly rich and diversified, although is visible only in some fragments of the text. The characters speak in vivid authentic Kashubian or combine it with Polish (as they have also the native speakers’ competence in Polish). In most cases they are understood by the Poles. In addition, in the novel there are (relatively not numerous) Kashubian lexical elements to give names to the phenomena and manifestations of the everyday life of the Kashubians and their culture. In his novel the writer also recalls indicators of the Kashubian folklore, describes Kashubian customs and emphasises the long-standing presence of the Kashubians in Pomerania. All these factors of stylisation harmonise with the circumstances described, highlight the colours of the time and the milieu, underline the authenticity of the characters and their faithfulness to their customs and traditions, and quite often they are motivated by the informational necessity of the text. In the novel written by Huelle the Kashubian language is interesting itself as a carrier of tradition and culture, and the Kashubians are presented as a transition between the outgoing world (the world of German-speaking inhabitants of Gdańsk) and the incoming world (the world of the Poles inflowing into Gdańsk after the Second World War).

Opis:
Celem artykułu badawczego jest wskazanie możliwości zastosowania koncepcji masowej kastomizacji przez producentów dóbr wybieranych w procesie kreowania wartości dla klientów. Badania oparto na następujących metodach: krytycznej analizie literatury przedmiotu, dokumentacyjnej, case research, obserwacji. Wyniki badań dowiodły, że producenci kreując wartość dla klienta stosują dwa typy masowej kastomizacji, tj. soft oraz hard (niektórzy równolegle wdrażają obydwa typy), a w ich obrębie różne odmiany. Większe możliwości personalizowania wartości występują przy hard customization, gdyż jest ona zaplanowana na etapach B+R i procesu wytwórczego. W efekcie produkty mają architekturę modułową lub modułowo-pakietową. Klient może skomponować produkt według indywidualnych potrzeb, jednak wybór ma ograniczony do udostępnionych przez firmę elementów. Hard customization wymaga znacznego zaangażowania klienta. Powodzenie tej metody zależy m.in. od dobrego poznania specyficznych potrzeb nabywców.
The aim of the article is to identify application possibilities for the concept of mass customisation in creating value for customers of eligible goods. The research was based on the following methods: critical analysis of the literature, documentation method, case research, observation. The research has shown that manufacturers use two types of mass customisation, i.e. soft and hard (some of them implement parallel both types), and within different varieties. Greater opportunities to personalise a customer value exist in case of hard customisation, because it’s planned at the phase of R&D and production. As a result, products have a modular and/or bundle architecture. Customers can compose the desired product according to their individual needs. However, their choice is limited to the modules (single or multiple units) provided by the company. Hard customisation requires significant interaction with each customer. The success of this method depends on a good understanding of specific customer needs.
Цель статьи – указать возможности применения концепции массовой кастомизации производителями выбираемых товаров в процессе формирования ценностей для клиентов. Изучение основано на использовании следующих методов: критического анализа литературы по предмету, документального, case study, наблюдения. Результаты изучения доказали, что производители, созидая ценность для клиента, применяют два типа массовой кастомизации, т.е. soft и hard (некоторые параллельно внедряют оба типа), а в их пределах – разные варианты. Бóльшие возможности персонализации ценности выступают при hard customisation, ибо этот метод спланирован на этапах НИР и ОКР и производственного процесса. В результате продукты имеют модульную или модульно-пакетную архитектуру. Клиент может компонировать продукт по индивидуальным потребностям, однако выбор у него ограничен поставленными фирмой элементами. Hard customisation требует значительного вовлечения клиента. Успех этого метода зависит, в частности, от хорошего изучения специфических потребностей покупателей.
