Opis:: Amongst the examples of structures filling up the spectrum of relationships between states and non-state actors in global governance, one can distinguish informal forums of international co-operation. The core position amongst them is occupied by the Group of Twenty (G20). This paper is devoted to the issue of the participation of BRICS in global governance institutions, above all the G20, which develops the summitry process at the political leader and ministerial levels. Attention is drawn to the BRICS group as the leading emerging economies and political powers at the regional and international levels, extending their influence within the G20. This paper highlights the increasing activity of emerging economies in this premier forum of global governance and explores the possibilities of BRICS members developing co-ordinated positions in the G20.(original abstract)

Opis:: The following article presents the main aspects of the financial safety net in Poland. Mainly, these are the institutional aspects, but also the legal aspects. Moreover, it was included in both the information on the rights and responsibilities of individual institutions, as well as how they function. Moreover, it realizes the significance of the activities of other entities in the financial system and their interrelationships. Working separately and also together as one body, prevent future crises and combat already present, as well as take care of the stability of the system and its continuous development.
Poniższy artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie głównych aspektów dotyczących sieci bezpieczeństwa finansowego w Polsce. W głównej mierze są to aspekty instytucjonalne, ale także aspekty prawne i finansowe. Ponadto, zawarte zostały w nim zarówno informacje dotyczące zakresu praw i obowiązków poszczególnych instytucji, jak również sposób ich funkcjonowania. Publikacja ma także na celu uświadomienie istotności działania danych jednostek w systemie finansowym i ich powiązań między sobą. Działając zarówno oddzielnie, jak i wspólnie jako jeden organ, zapobiegają przyszłym i zwalczają już obecne kryzysy, a także dbają o stabilność systemu i jego ciągły rozwój.

Opis:: Increased geopolitical competition and growing economic nationalism after 2014 have gradually started to slow the trend of liberalization of international trade. Relations among certain national states have turned into trade wars – a hybrid phenomenon shaped at the intersection of geopolitics and geoeconomics. The paper explores global and regional trends in trade regulations introduced by the world’s largest economies and, at the same time, its major military powers. The G20 countries’ role in these processes was illustrated through references to empirical data on the dynamics of the introduced trade regulations in 2009–2018. The effectiveness of the regulations index is proposed. Apart from the harm that deepening such negative trends in the global geostrategic balance does to broader bilateral relations, the role of trade wars in re-shaping globalization’s established conditions is also discussed.

Opis:: This paper offers explanatory insight into the normative basis for the European Union’s participation in the G20, club of international cooperation perceived as a hub in the system of global governance. Despite a number of provisions of treaties, opinions and judgments of the ECJ governing the external dimension of the EU activity, presence of the EU in the G20 is based on informal basis, and its effectiveness is determined by arrangements between the Commission and the European Council. By investing in the paranormative model of representation in the G20, based on obscure delimitation of competences between the European Council and the Commission, the EU moved towards solutions that can be described as anomalies in a situation where each of the other members of the group strives to give its policy the greatest clarity and decisiveness. W artykule podjęto próbę eksplanacyjnego wglądu w normatywne podstawy uczestnictwa Unii Europejskiej w G20, klubie współpracy międzynarodowej uznawanym za centrum systemu global governance. Pomimo szeregu postanowień traktatowych, opinii i wyroków TSUE regulujących zewnętrzny wymiar aktywności UE, obecność Unii w G20 opiera się na nieformalnych podstawach, a jej skuteczność wyznaczają kompromisy między Komisją i Radą Europejską. Unia Europejska, inwestując w paranormatywny model reprezentacji w G20, oparty na niejasnej delimitacji kompetencji między Radą Europejską a Komisją, skłoniła się ku rozwiązaniom, które można by określić mianem anomalii w sytuacji, gdy każdy z pozostałych uczestników grupy dąży do nadania swojej polityce jak największej wyrazistości i decyzyjności.

Opis:: Japan ‒ the third economic power in the world – has been for over a decade, in a state of a prolonged stagnation spreading over the domains of its economy including the banking system. Japan’s participation in the II World War resulted in a humiliating defeat.. Japanese cities were completely demolished. Japanese industry and infrastructure were also totally destroyed. Yet, within the next two generations, Japan managed to succeed in economic achievements that were commonly known as “an economic miracle”. The completely ruined country, deprived of any natural resources, has become the world’s economic power, and the leader in many economic domains. The reason for is that Japanese people are characterized by strict obedience towards authorities, diligence, patience and a proper assessment of the post war political situation all over the world made by the Japanese government. Measured and systematic investments of the 60’s and 70’s of the 20th century, were carried out in traditional industries e.g.: metallurgy, textile industry, ship-building industry as well as more modern ones such as automobile and electronics industries. Good quality and reasonable prices of products soon gained popularity among external markets. During a rapid development of 1954-1971, Japan adopted an anti-import policy and closed its market for foreign goods. This policy as well as the well-thought-out strategy of development resulted in a dynamic economic development of the country. Therefore, Japan became an important Americanally in the geopolitical configuration of powers.

Opis:: During periods of instability, the availability of reserves in the national economy of a country, necessary to overcome crises and repay their negative effects, is of great importance. The economic policy of the G20 countries on the formation of international reserves will give us a general idea of the main trends in this direction. The change in the structure of gold and FX reserves among the group of G20 countries in 2007-2019 is analyzed, the average annual absolute level of gold reserves and their growth have been determined, the amplitude of fluctuations, average deviation and coefficient of variation of gold reserves of the G20 countries have been determined, based on the calculation of the pairwise linear correlation of the gold and foreign exchange dynamics between the G20 countries, the similarities and differences in the implementation of the state policy on international reserves management were determined.

Opis:: Carbon nanotubes can be grown in the DC electric arc, they grow covered by a turbostratic graphite. The mechanism of the tubes growth is discussed. The magnetic susceptibility of samples, which contained aligned nanotubes exhibits anisotropic oscillatory behavior, which is ascribed to spatial quantization of the energy levels.

Opis:: The effect of nonmagnetic $Mg^{2+}$ and magnetic $Co^{2+}$ doping in Kagome compounds was investigated using DC magnetic susceptibility. The main effect of doping is to change the crystal field parameters. It was shown that $Co^{2+}$ doping increases considerably crystal field parameters in $Ni_3V_2O_8$ while doping with nonmagnetic $Mg^{2+}$ ions decreases considerably crystal field parameters in $Co_3V_2O_8$ crystals.

Opis:: The paper presents the essence of financial technologies in personal financial planning, especially robo-advice. The main aim of the paper is to describe the presumptions for the development of robo-advice. An analysis of robo-advice on personal finance management was made. The analysis was based on a review of the subject literature, and on primary and secondary research. Particular attention was paid to the intensification of activities in the implementation of modern solutions and tools supporting the management of personal finances and the gradual development of robo-advisors. Modern solutions are still struggling with great distrust on the part of their current and potential customers, and the development of modern technologies in liquidity and asset management still requires a human factor.

W szczególności poddano analizie te mechanizmy funkcjonowania, które służą wzmocnieniu siły oddziaływania agendy i rozwiązań proponowanych przez G20 na inne państwa świata. Autorzy stworzyli i poddali również analizie scenariusze możliwych przekształceń G20 w warunkach przemian gospodarki światowej i napięć geopolitycznych.
The article presents the origins, principles of functioning, methods of influence and determinants of the development of the Group of Twenty (G20) - a specific institutional form serving the common definition of world problems and the development of directions for solving them. In particular, the mechanisms of functioning that serve to strengthen the impact of the agenda and solutions proposed by the G20 on other countries of the world were analysed. The authors also created and analyzed scenarios of possible transformations of the G20 in the conditions of changes in the global economy and geopolitical tensions.
