The article focuses on the termination of the contract of employment without notice, due to employee’s fault, because of the commission of the obvious crime, during the contract of employment; the crime disallows the further employment on the workplace (what is definied in art. 52 § 1 point 2 L.C.). The author comes to the conclusion, that a obvious crime is a crime which existence is certain, undisputed, there is no objective doubts as to its existence, the evidence of its commission do not raise any doubt; facts of the case ensures, that the employee has committed a crime. The obvious crime is also characterized by the fact, that it make impossible further employment of an employee who committed this obvious crime on the workplace. This impossibility should not be an objective impossibility to continue the employment on the workplace, but in common sense, should argue for an immediate removal this employee from his workplace. However, the author takes the assumption that art. 52 § 1 point 2 L.C. is not compatible with art. 42 paragraph 3 of the Constitution, because it violates the principle of the presumption of innocence. It allows for the assignment of a crime (obvious) to the employee, even though there is no final judgment of the court.

Trainings are one of the forms of investing in the development of human resources. Its aim is to raise the quality of performed job. In order to be more effective trainings need to fulfill some crucial conditions, which are broadly described in the paper. Trainings may also be perceived as a platform enabling employees to develop new competences or strengthen the ones already possessed. It is worth mentioning that after the training not every participant will master the desirable level of competences. Taking that consideration into account not all goals connected to a training may be realized. However, the organization should not strictly reduce the training offer to its employees. On contrary, it ought to create the climate for promoting the active methods of acquiring new knowledge for them. In order to fulfill that role it should stimulate the employees to posing questions, seeking answers to them (sometimes not the obvious ones) or experimenting (of course within reason). The main goal of all actions mentioned above is to release from schematic thinking and to work out solutions which can be easily transferable to the job place. Moreover employees should have a feeling that employers are supporting them in their efforts.

Law No. 9901/2008 on “Entrepreneurs and Commercial Companies”, marked a milestone in the reform of the commercial law in Albanian. Among other novelties, the Law introduced a new approach in regard to the employees and their participation in co determination. Actually, the involvement of the employees were not that unfamiliar in the former Albanian Commercial Legislation thought the social responsibility was. The Law brought in a new approach which was widely inspired from the EU Law, by establishing the Council of the Employees for any commercial company having more than 50 employees. It is true that unlike the trade unions, it is the company that bears the costs of the establishment and functioning of these councils, but besides the costs, it would mean to grant importance to the employees, as stakeholders of the corporate, by being part of the decision making process with regard to the use of special funds or actives of the company or to the allocation of the divided that the General Assembly resolves to allocate to the employees. This article will explore the legal provisions of the Law in regard to the Council of the Employees, its establishment, functioning and entitlement and how these provisions are enforced in practice from the companies in Albania.

The minimum wage is the wage policy instrument that affects, among others, labor costs and elimination of negative forms of competition. In political-economic and scientific circles there is an ongoing discussion on the legitimacy of raising the minimum wage and its impact on employment. The main aim of this study is to determine the impact of changes in the minimum wage on labor demand of young people in Poland. It has been realized through three specific aims. On the basis of causality test it has been shown that both the level of the minimum wage and its relation to average earnings are the Granger causes of the number of working people aged 15-29 in Poland in the period 1990-2013. The results of the econometric model estimation showed, ceteris paribus, the negative impact of both these variables on the demand for labor of young people, with the minimum wage effect being lagged by one year. The variant forecasts until 2020, with different assumptions about the minimum wage, indicate the largest number of working if the minimum wage does not exceed 40% of the average earnings, while maintaining the current growth rate of the minimum wage. A noticeable decrease in employment is yet expected in the case of a large increase in this wage, regardless of its relation to the average earnings.

Globalization, rapid development of technologies and ever-changing surrounding environment determine the operation of modern organizations. Employees’ competences, as well as their willingness for constant improvement, gain significance in such a context. The present paper discusses skills of innovative companies’ employees and their learning styles in view of age and sex. The objective of the study was to identify and assess the influence of various independent features characterizing the employees upon their skills and learning styles. Research results enable recommendations for HR departments’ employees to be made as regards management of diverse teams in particular (especially as far as age and sex are concerned).
Globalizacja, gwałtowny rozwój technologii i nieustanne zmiany w otoczeniu determinują funkcjonowanie współczesnych organizacji. Szczególnego znaczenia nabierają kompetencje pracowników, jak również wyrażanie przez nich chęci ciągłego doskonalenia. Problematyka prezentowanego opracowania dotyczy umiejętności pracowników innowacyjnych przedsiębiorstw oraz prezentowanych przez nich stylów uczenia, rozpatrywanych w kontekście wieku i płci. Celem badań była identyfikacja i ocena wpływu cech niezależnych charakteryzujących pracowników przedsiębiorstw na ich umiejętności oraz style uczenia. Wyniki badań predestynują do sformułowania rekomendacji dla pracowników działów HR odnośnie do zarządzania zróżnicowanymi (w szczególności pod względem wieku i płci) zespołami pracowników.

Research background: Many authors emphasize that successful human resource management (HRM) practices align with employees’ needs associated with the construct of employees’ interests. In particular, the importance of considering employees’ interests is emphasized in the process of shaping the architecture of Socially Responsible Human Resource Management (SR-HRM) systems. Purpose of the article: The aim of the article is to contribute to understanding employees’ interests by designing and validating a measure to recognize these interests. Methods: Through the use of literature sources and expert opinions, the authors developed a list of employee interests. Empirical data collected via the survey method in Poland was used to statistically verify the measurement scale. In particular, exploratory factor analysis and exploratory structural equation modelling were applied. Findings & value added: This article shows that it is important to create a comprehensive list of interests, as well as validate the research tool used. The newly developed scale has 22 items and five dimensions: support and development at the level of the enterprise, employee participation, support and development at the departmental level, employment security, working conditions and remuneration. It may be used in a variety of companies, as well as in complex research models, and developed further taking into consideration the context of other countries.

In the article the authors analysed cooperation of preschool teachers with parents. It is a complex area of operation for preschool teachers, which requires communication skills, management of potential conflict situations, approaches to identification and management of different family situations, as well as approaches to coping with stress and working with different people. During the research on the population of students and preschool teachers (616), the authors also found that this is an area which the students rated as difficult, expecting problems with it at the beginning of their career, whereas in-service preschool teachers estimated that they did not have many problems when interacting with their pupils’ parents.

Today, one of the most important problems of the working environment is the quality of human capital, workers and their competence and their adequacy to the vocational needs. The knowledge and skills of employees are increasingly becoming a key resource for organizations and companies are focused on finding the appropriate competence. Management, use in current operations and long-term becomes an essential element of the work environment. Thanks to the creativity , commitment , loyalty and knowledge of employees the company becomes a dynamic organization . The article focuses on the problem of professional competence of employees in the context of the expectations and the needs of employers . This issue was discussed on the example of a selected group of professional experts in occupacional, safety nad health and the experience of employers resulting from the cooperation with OSH services. Work in OSH field requires interdisciplinary knowledge and skills. Repeatedly the condition and level of safety culture in an enterprise depends on their actions. It can be stated that the degree of efficiency of OSH staff is measured by the attitudes of employees and their awareness related to ergonomics, safe behaviour at work and care of their own health.
