    Opis:
    A bibliometric analysis of TASK Quarterly in the years 1997-2021 in terms of various bibliometric indicators was performed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the publication of the first issue of the journal. The number of publications and citations increased over the mentioned span of years. The leading countries in terms of the greatest number of papers published in TASK Quarterly are Poland, Italy, Germany, Ukraine, USA and Russia. Moreover, it is shown that international collaboration can result in a greater number of citations per publication. The average publication time in TASK Quarterly is 77 days, including the average submission-acceptance time (44 days) and the average acceptance publication time (33 days). Based on the author’s findings, it can be seen that although TASK Quarterly is a journal devoted mainly to physical and computer sciences, many publications also focus on the aspects related to mathematics, biomedical engineering and biophysics. CFD, molecular dynamics, the finite element method (FEM) and numerical simulations are the most frequently used keywords in articles published in TASK Quarterly.

    The purpose of this article is to indicate, based on publications in the field of 'dysfunctional customer behaviour', the items most often cited and essential for the researchers who cite them, as well as to introduce the topics and their relationships that represent the conceptual space of 'dysfunctional customer behaviour'. The indicated objective will be realised on the basis of selected bibliometric analyses. A set of 74 items resulting from searches in two databases-Web of Science and Scopus-were used for the analyses. Based on the created database of publications in the area of 'dysfunctional customer behaviour', three analyses were carried out: citations, co-citations and co-occurrence of words. The results of the bibliometric analyses made it possible to identify the group of most frequently cited publications, isolate those that are important to the citing researchers, and approximate the topics and their relationships that represent the conceptual space of 'dysfunctional customer behaviour'.

    This paper uses a co-citation analysis to examine the research on L2 vocabulary acquisition that was published in 1985. This year seems to mark a kind of transition in the field. Unlike the earlier years analysed in this series of papers, 1985 shows signs of a coherent L2 vocabulary research front developing. The number of papers that qualify for inclusion is much greater than in previous years, and the analysis suggests that recognisable research themes are beginning to be clearly articulated.

This year seems to mark a serious consolidation of L2 vocabulary research, with the main themes of future research appearing. The paper also reports a larger analysis of all the work that appeared in a five-year window from 1982-1986. This analysis clearly shows the beginnings of a recognisable research focus on L2 vocabulary acquisition, though this work is influenced by some surprising sources, who do not figure in more recent work in the field.

    This paper provides an overview of scientific and patent publications in furniture design and their connections from 1972-2020. The scientific publications were searched in the Scopus database, while the number of patent documents available in The Lens database was an indicator of the innovations in furniture. 1,465 scientific publications and 2,880,188 patent documents were identified. The results show that: authors from China and the USA published the largest number of scientific works, authors from the USA are the most often cited, there are 15 outstanding institutions from which the authors of the largest number of analyzed articles come, i.a.: University of Zagreb (Croatia), Poznań University of Life Sciences (Poland), Central South University of Forestry & Technology (China), Wood Technology Institute (Poland), Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) and others. The analysis of co-authorship shows cooperation in four groups of countries: (1) Brazil-Netherlands-Portugal, (2) the United States and a wide group of cooperating countries, (3) China-UK-Japan, and (4) Croatia-Poland-Turkey. The annual number of scientific publications and patent documents are strongly correlated. The increase in the number of scientific publications is much more than the increase in the number of patent documents. The statistical Granger causality test does not predict the patent documents' annual number trend by the scientific publications time series. The results presented in this article may facilitate scientific cooperation in "furniture design" showing leading authors and institutions.

    This study offers a bibliometric analysis of research trends in task-based language teaching (TBLT) from 1985 to 2020. The analysis covers research questions related to the publication trends, venues for publication, productive authors, highly cited articles and references and, more importantly, the most frequently explored TBLT-related topics and their developmental patterns across the past 35 years. Results showed that TBLT was still mostly approached from the traditional cognitive-interactionist and psycholinguistic perspectives with a focus on tasks, individuals (i.e., learners and teachers), task-related variables (e.g., task complexity and task repetition), task performance, and the resultant linguistic forms. While this field of research has witnessed a growing interest in learners’ individual differences and computer-mediated, technologies-assisted learning, a decreasing trend has been observed in topics related to error and recast. Implications for task-based research, pedagogy, and research methodologies are discussed.

It follows on directly from my earlier analysis of the 1982 data, and attempts to broaden the base line on which the later research developed. The paper presents a brief bibliometric analysis of L2 vocabulary research published in 1983. The analysis identifies a number of research clusters that were not present in the 1982 research but will become significant in later years, and highlights the volatility of vocabulary research at this time.

    This paper is the fourth instalment in a series of studies which attempt to plot the way research in L2 vocabulary acquisition has developed over the last fifty years. Earlier papers have analysed the research for 1982, 1983 and 2006 (Meara 2012, 2014, 2015). This paper follows on directly from my analysis of the 1983 research, and it uses the same bibliometric techniques that were used in the earlier papers: the co-citation methodology, first developed by Small (1973) and White and Griffith (1981). The analysis of the 1984 data shows some consolidation of the main research themes, but for the most part the L2 vocabulary research published in this year continues to be made up of small research clusters, sharing few common points of reference.

    This paper uses a co-citation analysis to examine the research on L2 vocabulary acquisition that was published in 1987. This year is surprisingly volatile compared with the previous year, 1986, with a very large number of new sources appearing in the maps, and many sources identified in previous years losing their influence in the research papers that make up the 1987 data set. The paper also reports a larger analysis of all the work that appeared in a five year window from 1983–1987. This larger data set is not quite as volatile as the smaller 1987 data set, but it suggests that some sources who dominated the co-citation maps in earlier years are losing their influence.

    The main aim of this work is to provide insight into a bibliometric analysis of Data Journals and Data Papers in terms of research areas, disciplines, publication year and country.In particular, we calculated many bibliometric indicators, especially: the number of publications and citations. Furthermore, this work also investigated the top 20 journals in which scientists published the largest number of Data Papers. It was found that the first Data Paper in Medical and Health Science was published in 2006. Our results indicate that about 64% of Data Papers are cited and about 30% of Data Papers are articles that have international co-authors. We also found that a significant number of Data Papers were published in top quartile (Q1) Open Access journals. Furthermore, most Data Papers were published in Multidisciplinary Sciences, followed by Biological Sciences, Earth and related Environmental Sciences as well as Computer and Information Sciences. Our analyses show that the largest number of Data Papers were published in journals with an Impact Factor ranging from 5 to 6. Additionally, the largest number of Data Papers were published in the USA, China, the United Kingdom, Italy andFrance. From the point of view of scientists, this work is needed because scientists can check information about journals in which they may publish research data. Moreover, they can find Data Journals with a high Impact Factor and MEiN points. This analysis is also interesting because scientists/publishers can compare the disciplines and countries in which researchers have published the greatest number of Data Papers. Finally, it is worth noting that this work gives insights into the various bibliometric indicators related to citations and the number of publications. This information can be useful for people associated with bibliometric analyses.

    Introduction and Objective. The purpose of this study was to select in a structured manner the relevant articles with scientific recognition, and simultaneously identify the characteristics of these publications that may scientifically enrich the theme in a portfolio of papers. The theme involves ergonomics in milk production as a criterion for evaluating and improving organizational performance in the milking sector. Materials and Method. The study used ProKnow-C as a theoretical instrument for intervention. Results. The main results show: i) a bibliographic portfolio of 18 items aligned with the view adopted by researchers which served as a theoretical framework for this research; ii) The article entitled “Wrist positions and movements as possible risk factors during machine milking”, by Marianne Stål, Gert-Åke Hansson and Ulrich Moritz in 1999 and published in the Journal of Applied Ergonomics presented the highest scientific recognition, iii) the authors highlighted in the bibliographic portfolio or in its references researching the subject are Gert-Åke Hansson, Marianne Stål and Stefan Pinzke, and iv) the International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics shows the highest number of scientific articles in the bibliographic portfolio. Conclusions. The studies selected using the methodology indicate research in ergonomics focused on the production of milk in rural areas, specifically in the milking sector, are generally related to the health and safety of the workers.

    This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of maritime transport/shipping-related publications between 1975 and November 2018 in order to describe the profile and research themes. Comprehensive queries were used to reveal the general structure of maritime transport/shipping-related literature in the context of the Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCI-Expanded) and Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) databases. The analysis was conducted using bibliometric mapping. Five years of maritime/shipping literature was also comparatively presented. The results indicated major research areas, leading authors, countries, organizations, journals, and publications with the contributions of the comments of leading authors. Within the five-year period, maritime surveillance research and marine engineering research clusters were identified as developing clusters that expanded and received increased interest. Economic studies decreased, while operations research increased in the maritime transport/shipping literature. Optimization research and marine engineering research appear to be growing research clusters. Interdisciplinary research appears to have a high chance of being published in SCI-Expanded and SSCI in the future. The main contribution of this paper was the identification of areas of current research interests which allowed the quantification and visualization of changes in the entire body of shipping literature over a short time period.

    The availability of digital infrastructures and the fast-paced development of accompanying revolutionary technologies have triggered an unprecedented reliance on Artificial intelligence (AI) techniques both in theory and practice. Within the AI domain, Machine Learning (ML) techniques stand out as essential facilitator largely enabling machines to possess human-like cognitive and decision making capabilities. This paper provides a focused review of the literature addressing applications of emerging ML toolsto solve various Project Scheduling Problems (PSPs). In particular, it employs bibliometric and network analysis tools along with a systematic literature review to analyze a pool of 104 papers published between 1985 and August 2021. The conducted analysis unveiled the top contributing authors, the most influential papers as well as the existing research tendencies and thematic research topics within this field of study. A noticeable growth in the number of relevant studies is seen recently with a steady increase as of the year 2018. Most of the studies adopted Artificial Neural Networks, Bayesian Network and Reinforcement Learning techniques to tackle PSPs under a stochastic environment, where these techniques are frequently hybridized with classical metaheuristics. The majority of works (57%) addressed basic Resource Constrained PSPs and only 15% are devoted to the project portfolio management problem. Furthermore, this study clearly indicates that the application of AI techniques to efficiently handle PSPs is still in its infancy stage bringing out the need for further research in this area. This work also identifies current research gaps and highlights a multitude of promising avenues for future research.

    The aim of the article is to present the application possibilities of strategic foresight research for the logistics field. The first part of the paper is devoted to the presentation of the bibliometric analysis which aim was to locate logistics within the foresight research. The bibliometric analysis was supported by VOS software, which is a mapping technique that stands for visualization of similarities. The second part of the paper is devoted to the presentation of two possible applications of strategic foresight for logistics, namely EU FP7 project RACE2050 and the Logistics Trend Radar. The empirical contribution of the paper is the presentation of logistics localization in the strategic foresight field. In the paper the following research methods have been used: bibliometric analysis, literature review, critical analysis of the existing published works and a case study.

    Distribution of papers on COVID-19 in the field of anesthesiology in individual countries and journals

    INTRODUCTION: The are many published papers on COVID-19 in the field of anesthesia recently. However, there isn’t any study that indicates what kind of issues countries and journals are focusing on this particular subject. The aim of this paper is to determine the countries and journals that contribute the most to the literature on COVID-19 in the field of anesthesia and also to examine the features that make the difference in the total cited count numbers of related papers. MATERIAL AND METHODS: The search engine of the Web of Science was used for the selection of papers. The search yielded 359 published materials in total. However, 78 (61 Articles, 17 Reviews) of them did not have keywords. Therefore, they were excluded from the analysis. The remaining 196 articles plus 84 reviews, in total 280 papers were examined. In order to examine the differences between published materials in terms of total cited count numbers, independent samples t-tests and one-way Anova test were performed with SPSS. In order to explore the topical differences, the keywords according to country of the first author, and the journal were mapped. KNIME and FactoMiner software were used for the analysis. RESULTS: Results indicated that international papers were cited more compared to domestic papers; multi-centered national papers were cited more compared to single-centered national papers. The largest percentage (34.64%) of the overall publications originated from Anglo-American countries (USA=13.93%; England=12.14%; Canada=6.07%; Australia=2.50%). The keyword mapping showed that COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, Pandemic, Anesthesia, Airway, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Critical Care, Intensive Care, Personal Protective Equipment, Infection, Mortality, and Mechanical Ventilation were the main keywords of these published materials. CONCLUSIONS:This paper not only showed the features of papers that are cited more but also showed the ranking of countries that contribute the most to the literature and reflected the hot topics about COVID-19 in the field of anesthesia. Extensive studies about COVID-19 have already begun, and the number of studies keep increasing. Therefore, this study could provide hints for authors who would like their papers to be cited more as well as useful information for further research.

    Agile Project Management is a topic that has become popular both in business and academia, since the publication of the Agile Manifesto - a historic landmark in this subject. In the next 20 years, there was a relevant scientific production that must be analyzed to provoke reflection about the knowledge built up in this period. In this sense, this study aims to analyze the relevant scientific literature on Agile Project Management through a systematic review and a bibliometric analysis of articles published in scientific journals with Digital Object Identifier, in English, from the Web of Science and Scopus databases, from 2001 to 2021. The research results enable us to gain insights into the characteristics of this knowledge domain, regarding its volume and evolutionary trend, main contributors (i.e. scientific journals, authors, and their affiliations), main studies, methods used, and its central thematic axes.

    Bibliometric analysis is a research method that is used to identify research gaps and the potential paths of empiric exploration of such categories that seemingly have been studied, but which in which enormous scientific and utilitarian capabilities remain undiscovered. Sustainable development is one such category. The purpose of this article is to present the development and evolution of scientific literature on sustainable development, and the research goal is to forecast the developmental directions for this category. Bibliometric analysis was used in the research. Scopus, the international interdisciplinary database, was the data source. Maps of co-occurrence of keywords relating to sustainable development were prepared in VOSviewer ver. 1.6.19. The results of the research provided new and crucial knowledge about the features of contemporary literature on sustainable development, determined following analysis of the content of selected open access journals that are representative for this field. The chronological aspect of research of the concept of sustainable development was also underlined. This, in the context of management development, resulted in essential conclusions and results pointing to the potential directions of development of the analysed area. The results also identify the key publications and journals for the subject being researched. This is one of the few works which features a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of sustainable development (Díaz-López et al., 2021; Nobanee et al., 2021; Yamaguchi et al., 2023; Zhu & Hua, 2017). The added value of the analyses is the information that was prepared in the form of rankings using bibliometric indicators such as the number of citations, number of articles cited, and the map of co-cited journals.

    The aim of the analysis is to present the subject-matter and the dynamics of the literature in the field of public health and health services, in the years 2000-2012, through the bibliometric analysis of the literature in 11 subject areas. Research questions: Which areas of public health and health services abound at this period in the largest number of publications? Can we observe in the period 2000-2012 growth in number of publications? Is it possible to see any patterns in the dynamics of publishing in particular areas? In which journals the articles on topics related to public health and health services are published most often? Method: The thematic areas of public health were identified following the basic functions of the public health highlighted in subject literature, and widened by inclusion of “management and organization of health care” and “health economics”. The Polish Medical Bibliography (PBL) was searched to find all types of publications published in the years 2000-2012, indexed with the major headings (descriptors) corresponding with the selected topics. The data obtained from PBL was processed by especially written computer program. Results: A total of 24,631 articles on predetermined topics were recorded in PBL, in the chosen period. Dominate publications on “management and organization”, “law regulation” and “health economics”. Together they constitute more than half of all publications. Next, most frequently presented in publications issue was “monitoring the health of the population”. Incomparably less is publications on the prevention of diseases and their causes. During this period, there are only few comparative studies published showing Poland among other countries. Also, very little work is published about the aging of the Polish population seen as a public health problem. From 2000 to 2010, the number of publications in the entire public health area has remained relatively stable. From 2010 begins gradual decrease in the number of articles in almost all fields, with the exception of “disease monitoring”,” prevention of accidents and injuries” and “epidemiological surveillance”. More than half (51%) of the publications were published in 55 journals, of which only 20 deal extensively with issues of public health. Other articles are distributed in more than 300 other bio-medical journals. Conclusions: Public health and health services fields, as areas of research and professional discussion in Poland are dominated by issues of management, organization, economics and law regulations. Number of publications in all analyzed subjects (public health + management+economics) in the years 2000-2012, shows a weak growth, with significant differences between individual areas and sub-areas. In such areas as “disease prevention”, “management”, “health economics”,” quality of care” issues - the number of publications is falling.     Almost ten years have passed since some seminal structured literature reviews about multi-criteria decision-making for green supplier selection were published. We aimed to investigate the evolution of intellectual structures in this field through a structured literature review and bibliometric analysis using publications between 2010 and 2022. We noted that mathematical and analytical approaches are still dominating, and the complexity of the methods has increased. Bibliometrically, their theoretical foundation and techniques are the same despite the change of leading papers over time. Our contribution consist in extending earlier studies and discussing the evolution of the field.

    Development trends (Research Trends) in scientific research on the methods of Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) and Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) in agriculture are analyzed. Established bibliometric techniques are applied. MCDA/MCDM methods are being very intensively developed in recent years, as evidenced by the number of scientific papers published annually in renowned scientific journals indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) database. In the years 1979-2015 a total of 1,355 scientific articles were collected in the database. The number of articles published annually increased rapidly after 2005. Besides, the annual number of citations of the publications is increasing. Research on MCDA/MCDM is conducted in many research areas. In the years 1984-2015 the Web of Science database accumulated 27 scientific publications on MCDA/MCDM in agriculture area. Therefore, it can be concluded that the MCDA/MCDM issues are currently not sufficiently analyzed in relation to agriculture. In the future this subject will probably be further developed, an increasing number of scientists will conduct research on the MCDA/MCDM and the annual number of articles published in the field will increase.

    Purpose: Organizational ambidexterity is a promising concept in management science. It is defined as the ability of a company to leverage existing resources by increasing the productivity of current products and services while exploring development niches. The aim of the article is to identify the leading research areas within organizational ambidexterity based on bibliometric analysis carried out on a collection of scientific articles and conference papers indexed in the Scopus database. Findings: Data visualisation was prepared using VOSviewer software (version 1.6.15), which allows analysis of the frequency of keywords in the analysed dataset and, at the same time, an analysis of their co-occurrence with other keywords. The article presents visualisations in the form of both a label view and a density view. Using the VOSviewer software, a summary of 2255 keywords was generated based on the uploaded set of publications and a dictionary allowing the combination or deletion of individual terms. The final map consisted of 36 keywords grouped into six clusters. The theoretical contribution of the paper consists in the identification of six clusters revolving around the issue of organisational ambidexterity. The clusters refer to 1) the relationship between organisational ambidexterity and a company’s ability to innovate, 2) organisational ambidexterity and dynamic capabilities, 3) perception of organisational ambidexterity as a useful framework of product development 4) perception of organisational ambidexterity as a framework to support human resource management, 5) the notion of exploitation and exploration and 6) contextual ambidexterity. Research limitations/implications: The analysis revealed a clear trend away from analysing structural and temporal ambidexterity in companies towards attributing more importance to individual ambidexterity which may be an interesting subject of future research inquiry. A limitation of the study is that it was based on publications from a single database, therefore it is interesting to analyse comparisons between other databases such as Web of Science or IEEE. Originality/value: The article fills the cognitive gap in demonstrating the latest trends in the research field. The findings could serve as a guide for researchers who aim for better understanding of the main progress and promising research trends in the field of organisational ambidexterity.

    The aim of this article is to present the results of bibliometric analysis of the scientific studies on the issue of corporate social responsibility (CSR) reporting. The analysis allowed us to identify the main territories in the context of the above issues. For the purposes of the analysis were used bibliometric analysis of the data available in the Web of Science database, the analysis of trends in terms of number of publications, the method of co- -occurrence of words and a cluster analysis method and also mind mapping. In the analysis was used software VOSviewer. The analysis led to extending the area of research relating to the issue of corporate social responsibility reporting to the following sub-areas: corporate social responsibility, disclosure of non-financial information, integrated reporting, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards.

    Research background: Sustainability in organizations is a business approach to creating long-term value by taking into consideration how a given organization operates in the ecological, social, and economic environments. The organizational practices that eventually lead to sustainable development are referred to as sustainable organization management. Purpose of the article: The purpose of this paper is to examine the current trends in sustainable organization management over the time period of 2015-2022, highlight the emerging themes in this study area, and provide guidance for further research in the field. Methods: This paper uses bibliometric meta-data analysis to present an analysis of current trends in sustainable organizational management. An in-depth analysis of a sample result of 619 papers from the Web of Science core collection was conducted with the use of biblioshiny, the R-Programming Language package, and the VoS Viewer software. A global representation of concepts was created using the relational directory network visualization technique based on VoS Viewer software. Keyword cooccurrence relationships were determined; relational techniques were used to visualize bibliographic coupling density to identify thematic areas with little research; and overlay visualization bibliometric techniques were used to identify new and old research themes. Findings & value added: Emerging themes are modeling, tourism, and perceptions. Motor theme areas in the field of study include performance, impact, and management. The paper concludes that the study area of organizational sustainability management is still in its early stages and has great research potential, such as Africa as a study area, despite the fact that there have been few or no research findings. Future research should examine the role of technology and innovation in promoting sustainable practices within organizations and clarify how well an organization can survive global competition.

    Age management is a broad concept, presented in various contexts and related to many issues such as: population ageing, medicine, active ageing, diversity management or anti-discrimination. As a result, the significance of demographic processes is increasingly recognised by numerous researchers in various scientific disciplines. In the context of management studies, we can see a growing popularity of the concept of age management as one of the instruments to mitigate the effects of ageing and shrinking of potential workforce. The aim of this publication was to present research and development activity in the area of age management based on the use of bibliometrics to conduct quantitative analyses of scientific publications on the issues addressed in the research. The authors concentrated on publications indexed in the Scopus database. The studies revealed multifaceted character of this issue.
    Zarządzanie wiekiem to szeroka koncepcja, przedstawiona w różnych kontekstach i związana z wieloma kwestiami, takimi jak: starzenie się społeczeństwa, medycyna, aktywne starzenie się, zarządzanie różnorodnością czy przeciwdziałanie dyskryminacji. W rezultacie znaczenie procesów demograficznych jest coraz częściej uznawane przez licznych badaczy z różnych dyscyplin naukowych jako niezwykle istotne. W kontekście studiów nad zarządzaniem widzimy rosnącą popularność koncepcji zarządzania wiekiem, jako jednego z instrumentów łagodzenia skutków starzenia się i kurczenia się potencjalnej siły roboczej. Celem niniejszej publikacji było przedstawienie działalności badawczo-rozwojowej w zakresie zarządzania wiekiem opartej na wykorzystaniu bibliometrii do przeprowadzania analiz ilościowych publikacji naukowych dotyczących zagadnień poruszanych w badaniach. Autorzy skoncentrowali się na publikacjach indeksowanych w bazie Scopus. Badania ujawniły wieloaspektowy charakter tej kwestii.

    Word of mouth' (WOM) as a communication tool has evolved quite significantly over the last few decades. Originally, word-of-mouth communication was limited to local coverage, i.e. it was restricted only to the closest people in the circle of the sender of the message. Technological developments over the past 30 years, particularly in computer and mobile technologies, have brought about significant changes in this form of communication. The information provided has become global; the consumer can communicate directly with the entrepreneur. Examples of bibliographic analyses of only electronic word of mouth (eWOM) without consideration of traditional WOM can be found in the literature. It therefore seems important to try to analyse the literature collection on both WOM and eWOM. The article aims to identify and present the most frequently cited works (along with their authors), as well as the publications most frequently referred to by authors publishing works related to WOM. Citation analysis and co-citation analysis were used to realise the stated aim. The basis for the analyses is a collection of publications from the WoS database. The results obtained made it possible to identify and create a list of the most frequently cited and co-cited publications.

    Celem artykułu jest zidentyfikowanie tendencji i podobszarów w zakresie koncepcji inteligentnego miasta na postawie danych bibliometrycznych światowej literatury opublikowanej w ostatnich latach w bazie Web of Science, Elsevier oraz Scopus. W badaniu zostały wykorzystane podstawowe techniki metody bibliometrycznej przy wsparciu oprogramowania VOSviewer. Przeprowadzona analiza pozwoliła: (I) na podstawie bardzo licznej literatury światowej ocenić w aspekcie chronologicznym rozwój badań nad koncepcją inteligentnego miasta oraz (II) dokonać identyfikacji najistotniejszych publikacji i czasopism, mających kluczowe znaczenie dla tego obszaru badań, na podstawie h-index i IF.
    This article aims to identify the trends and dynamics of changes in the field of smart city on the basis of bibliometric data of international literature published in the Web of Science, Scopus and Elsevier databases in recent years. The study made use of basic techniques of the bibliometric method with the support of the VOSviewer software. On the basis of a huge number of literary works, the analysis allowed for assessment, in terms of chronological development, of research concerned with the smart city and identification of main publications and journals being of crucial significance to this area of research.
    Цель статьи – выявить тенденции и сферы в области концепции интеллигентного города на основе библиометрических данных мировой литературы, опубликованной в последние годы в базе Web of Science, Elsevier и Scopus. В изучении использовали основные техники библиометрического метода при поддержке программного обеспечения VOSviewer. Проведенный анализ позволил: (1) на основе весьма богатой мировой литературы оценить в хронологическом аспекте развитие исследований концепции интеллигентного города и (2) выявить самые существенные публикации и журналы, имеющие основное значение для этой области изучения, на основе h-index и IF.

    W niniejszym opracowaniu Autor skupia swoją uwagę na dwóch głównych aspektach. W części teoretycznej przedstawia definicyjne ujęcie pojęcia „Internet rzeczy” w oparciu o wybór najczęściej cytowanych źródeł. W części drugiej przeprowadzona została analiza bibliometryczna, która ma na celu wskazanie rozwoju pojęcia „Internet rzeczy” we współczesnej literaturze oraz znaleźć odpowiedź na pytanie: w jakim stopniu termin ten jest wykorzystywany w obszarze biznesu ekonomii i zarządzania? Analiza prowadzona jest w oparciu o bazy Web of Science oraz SCOPUS, a wyniki zostały modelowane za pomocą programów komputerowych CiteSpace oraz VOSviewer (Visualizing Scientific Landscpaes). Prowadzone badanie ma za zadanie wskazać lukę badawczą, która dotychczas nie została wystarczająco zagospodarowana opracowaniami z zakresu zarządzania dotyczącymi wskazanego pojęcia.
    In this study, the author focuses his attention on two main aspects. In the theoretical part, he presents a definition of the concept of "Internet of Things" based on the selection of the most cited sources. In the second part, a bibliometric analysis was carried out, which aims to indicate the development of the concept of "Internet of Things" in contemporary literature, and to find an answer to the question: to what extent is this term used in the area of business, economics and management? The analysis is based on the Web of Science and SCOPUS databases, and the results were modeled using CiteSpace and VOSviewer (Visualizing Scientific Landscpaes) computer programs. The conducted research is to indicate a research gap that has not been sufficiently covered by studies in the field of management concerning the indicated concept so far.

    Celem niniejszego artykułu jest dokonanie przeglądu i zidentyfikowanie dotychczasowych badań poświęconych problematyce zniekształceń poznawczych w zachowaniach konsumentów. Dynamiczny rozwój technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych, a także rosnące znaczenie konsumpcji w środowisku wirtualnym sprawiły, że zmieniły się skala, specyfika oraz sposób rozumienia błędów poznawczych towarzyszących zachowaniom konsumenckim. W szczególności problem ten dotyczy podejmowania decyzji zakupowych w środowisku wirtualnym oraz przeciążenia informacyjnego, które sprzyja zwiększeniu podatności na manipulację ze strony reklamodawców. Poruszona w artykule problematyka została zbadana przede wszystkim na gruncie nauk o zarządzaniu, w tym marketingu, ale także psychologii, w szczególności w subdyscyplinach psychologia poznawcza oraz psychologia społeczna. W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono historię badań nad błędami poznawczymi, wskazano tematy dominujące w tym obszarze, a także zidentyfikowano obecne obszary zainteresowań badaczy. W części empirycznej artykułu autorka przedstawiła wyniki analizy bibliometrycznej publikacji poświęconych tytułowej problematyce, indeksowanych w bazach Scopus oraz Web of Science. W świetle uzyskanych wyników badań można stwierdzić, że wśród analizowanych pozycji literaturowych stosunkowo niewiele pochodziło z obszaru marketingu. Wśród najnowszych publikacji, mających istotny wkład w rozwój nauki (zidentyfikowany przez liczbę cytowań), dominują te poświęcone społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu, a także psychologicznym uwarunkowaniom podejmowania decyzji.
    The purpose of this article is to identify and review previous research devoted to the issue of cognitive distortions in consumer behavior. The dynamic development of information and communication technologies and information overload, as well as the growing importance of consumption in a virtual environment, have also changed the scale, specificity, and understanding of cognitive errors accompanying consumer behavior. Specifically, this problem relates to purchasing decisions in a virtual environment and information overload, which promotes increased susceptibility to manipulation by advertisers. The issues raised in the article have been studied primarily in management science, including marketing and psychology, particularly in the sub-disciplines of cognitive psychology and social psychology. The article presents the history of research on mental errors, points out the dominant topics in this field, and identifies current areas of interest for researchers. The analysis was based on an analysis of the Scopus and Web of Science database using the R package.

Dlatego badania w tym obszarze nie są łatwe i stwarzają wiele trudności metodologiczno-praktycznych. W związku z tym celem niniejszego artykułu jest zarysowanie i ocena istniejącego dorobku naukowego dotyczącego metod badawczych stosowanych w dziedzinie zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi na podstawie systematycznego przeglądu literatury.
    Human resource management—a sub–discipline of management science—is a useful science. This means that its essence is not merely the creation of theory, but also the identification of patterns for practice. It combines various approaches taken from multifarious sciences: social, economic, sociological, humanistic, and technical. It evolves as a result of the development of many similar concepts (including knowledge management as well as talent and competency management). It is for this reason that research into this area is not easy, creating a number of methodological and practical difficulties. Therefore, the aim of this article is to outline and evaluate existing scientific achievements in research methods used in the realm of human resource management as based on a systematic overview of literature.

XX wieku. Celem artykułu jest zatem zaprezentowanie strukturalnego przeglądu badań dotyczących zarządzania kryzysowego w latach 1945-2023. Przedstawiono genezę zarządzania kryzysowego w Polsce oraz dokonano analizy bibliometrycznej dorobku publikacyjnego znajdującego się w bazie SCOPUS.
    The issue of crisis management is constantly present in the literature, especially internationally. In Poland, researchers’ interest in this problem is relatively short-lived, as the concept itself stems from American solutions and was transferred to civil protection in the late 1990s. The aim of the article is therefore to present a structured overview of research on crisis management from 1945 through 2023, using bibliometric analysis. The origin of crisis management in Poland is discussed along with a bibliometric analysis of publications stored in the SCOPUS database.

    Plastic materials are shaping modern society and making our lives easier. However, due to improper handling of plastic waste, plastics are no longer ubiquitous only in our homes, villages and cities but also in the natural environment. In line with the concept of bioeconomy, bioplastics are presented as a sustainable option that could help the economy overcome its dependence on fossil fuels and contribute to the reduction of overall plastic pollution. The study aims to identify the areas of academic interest in bioplastics. The study's methodological approach is based on a bibliometric (scientometric) analysis. It was found that in academia, biology, chemistry, and biotechnology are the main areas dealing with bioplastics, focusing on the whole process of product development. At the same time, there is a significant lack of research in areas such as social sciences, including econom-ics. These findings should contribute to the global scientific discourse.
    Tworzywa sztuczne kształtują współczesne społeczeństwo i ułatwiają codzienne życie. Jednak w związku z niewłaściwym postępowaniem, odpady z tworzyw sztucznych są wszechobecne nie tylko w naszych domach, wsiach i miastach, ale także w środowisku naturalnym. Zgodnie z koncepcją biogospodarki biotworzywa są przedstawiane jako zrównoważona opcja, która może pomóc gospodarce przezwyciężyć zależność od paliw kopalnych i przyczynić się do zmniejszenia ogólnego zanieczyszczenia tworzywami sztucznymi. Badanie ma na celu zidentyfikowanie obszarów zainteresowań naukowych biotworzywami. Podejście metodologiczne badania opiera się na analizie bibliometrycznej (scientometrii). Stwierdzono, że w środowisku akademickim biologia, chemia i biotechnologia to główne obszary zajmujące się biotworzywami, skupiające się na całym procesie rozwoju produktu. Jednocześnie istnieje znaczny brak badań w takich dziedzinach, jak nauki społeczne, w tym ekonomia. Niniejsze rozważania powinny przyczynić się do globalnego dyskursu naukowego.

    Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie zmian w zakresie aktywności publikacyjnej w tematyce stali i rud żelaza w latach 1996–2015 oraz ich odniesienie do zmian zachodzących w sektorze stalowym na świecie. W analizowanym okresie wzrostowi produkcji stali w Chinach towarzyszył wzrost liczby publikacji i udziału Chin w światowej puli (korpusie) publikacji, a także zmniejszanie udziału publikacji z USA, państw Europy Zachodniej i Japonii. Z perspektywy wpływu (oddziaływania) publikacje z Chin charakteryzowały się mniejszymi wartościami wskaźników, jak liczba cytowań na publikację, a także były publikowane w czasopismach o niższych wskaźnikach wpływu w porównaniu z publikacjami z USA, państw Europy Zachodniej, Japonii i Korei Południowej. W zakresie współpracy międzynarodowej w tematyce stali i rud żelaza wiodącymi państwami były USA oraz Niemcy i Francja. Państwa azjatyckie, w tym Chiny, Japonia i Korea Południowa, wyróżniały się natomiast względnie dużą aktywnością publikacyjną przedsiębiorstw stalowych. W artykule wskazano także główne wyzwania związane z prowadzeniem analiz bibliometrycznych w ww. tematyce.
    The aim of this article is to demonstrate the changes in the publication activity in the field of steel and iron ore in the years 1996–2015 and their reference to the changes taking place in the steel industry across the world. Over the analysed period, the growth of steel production in China was accompanied by the increase of the number of publications and participation of China in the global pool of publications, as well as the decreasing shares of publications from the US, Japan and European countries. Chinese publications, from the perspective of their impact, have received lower values of indicators, such as citations per publication, and were published in journals with lower values of their impact factors. In terms of international cooperation, the leading countries were the US, Germany and France. Asian countries, including China, Japan and South Korea, were characterised by relatively high publication activities of steel companies. The article also presents the major challenges related to bibliometric analyses in this field.

    This paper summarizes the arguments and counterarguments within the scientific discussion on the impact of energy-efficient development on promoting the national green brand. The primary purpose of the research is to provide an overview of the scientific background devoted to the relationship between the energy efficiency policy and the country’s green brand to identify the potential research gaps and highlight the prospects for particular research directions. The systematization of scientific publications presented in the Scopus database showed a rapid tendency for publication activity on the investigated theme from 2000 to 2020. However, there has remained a deficiency in investigating the role of energy efficiency policy in formulating the country’s green brand. Therefore, it is appropriate to screen out the relevant publications to detect the future research directions in boosting energy efficiency for strengthening Ukraine’s green brand. To obtain the objectives of this study, the paper is presented in the following logical sequence: determining the keywords to find the relevant publications; searching the publications; conducting the evaluation analysis by specific metrics; applying the bibliometric analysis for the investigation of keywords and their co-occurrence. The co-occurrence analysis was performed using the VOSviewer software tools. The study sample consists of 3090 publications indexed in the Scopus database. The study involved documents published from 2000 to 2020. The research identified the most productive authors, prestigious scientific journals, and the most contributing countries and institutions. The publications were clustered into five thematic groups, which indicate the main research directions. The authors specified the prosperous lines for future research.
    W artykule podsumowano argumenty i kontrargumenty w dyskusji naukowej na temat wpływu efektywnego energetycznie rozwoju na promocję narodowej zielonej marki. Podstawowym celem badania było dokonanie przeglądu polegającego na określeniu relacji między polityką związaną z efektywnością energetyczną a zieloną marką kraju w celu zidentyfikowania potencjalnych luk badawczych i naświetlenia perspektyw dla poszczególnych kierunków badawczych. Systematyzacja publikacji naukowych zebranych w bazie Scopus wykazała szybki wzrost aktywności publikacyjnej na temat efektywności energetycznej w latach 2000–2020. Wciąż jednak brakuje badań na temat kształtowania zielonej marki danego kraju w zależności od tej polityki. W związku z tym dokonano selekcji odpowiednich publikacji, aby określić przyszłe kierunki działań w zakresie zwiększania efektywności energetycznej dla wzmocnienia zielonej marki Ukrainy. Aby osiągnąć cele niniejszego artykułu, dokonano opisu kolejnych zrealizowanych kroków, wykonanych w następującej logicznej kolejności: określenie słów kluczowych dla odnalezienia odpowiednich publikacji; wyszukanie publikacji; przeprowadzanie analizy ewaluacyjnej według określonych metryk; zastosowanie analizy bibliometrycznej do badania słów kluczowych i ich współwystępowania. Analizę współwystępowania przeprowadzono za pomocą narzędzi programu VOS Viewer. Próba badawcza składała się z 3090 publikacji zindeksowanych w bazie Scopus opublikowanych w latach 2000–2020. W badaniu zidentyfikowano najbardziej produktywnych autorów, prestiżowe czasopisma naukowe oraz kraje i instytucje, których publikacji jest najwięcej w Bazie Scopus. Publikacje zostały pogrupowane w pięć grup tematycznych, które wskazują główne kierunki badawcze. Autorzy określili najbardziej pożądane kierunki przyszłych badań.

    The article contains a bibliometric analysis conducted on the basis of bibliographic data from the years 1996–2022, extracted from the Scopus database (May 2022). The method used involved steps beyond the traditional counting of publications and citations as well as drawing conclusions based on reading the content of academic papers. Complete biographic datasets were used for advanced analyses performed in the program CiteSpace. The state of research into digital culture may be described as follows: (1) it constitutes a new area of research that has seen particularly intensive development for the last 15 years or so; (2) systematic research is conducted by a small set of researchers; (3) they publish the findings of their research in a small selection of journals (around a dozen) and in books; (4) books contribute most to the development of such research (mainly around a dozen of the most popular ones); (5) the subject-matter of this research embraces mainly such issues as: copyright law, critical digital studies, digital art, network society, digital media, digital modernity, information technology, digitalisation, influencers, the internet era, memes, new media, social media, social networks, video games, and visual culture.
    Artykuł zawiera analizę bibliometryczną przeprowadzoną na podstawie danych bibliograficznych z lat 1996–2022 wydobytych z bazy Scopus (maj 2022). Zastosowana metoda wykracza poza tradycyjne liczenie publikacji i cytowań oraz wyciąganie wniosków na podstawie lektury treści artykułów naukowych. Kompletne zbiory danych bibliograficznych zostały wykorzystane do zaawansowanych analiz przeprowadzonych w programie CiteSpace. Stan badań kultury cyfrowej można scharakteryzować następująco: (1) jest to nowy obszar badawczy, który rozwija się intensywniej od około 15 lat; (2) systematyczne badania prowadzone są przez niewielką grupę badaczy; (3) publikują oni wyniki swoich badań w niewielkiej grupie czasopism (jest ich kilkanaście) oraz w książkach; (4) największy wpływ na rozwój badań mają książki (głównie kilkanaście najpopularniejszych); (5) przedmiot badań obejmuje głównie takie zagadnienia jak: prawo autorskie, krytyczne studia cyfrowe, sztuka cyfrowa, społeczeństwo cyfrowe, media cyfrowe, cyfrowa nowoczesność, technologia informacyjna, digitalizacja, influencer, era internetu, memy, nowe media, media społecznościowe, sieci społecznościowe, gry wideo, kultura wizualna.

    This study reveals significant and emergent research topics in the field ‘engineering, mechanical’ through bibliometric analysis of articles indexed in Web of Science (WoS) from 1997 to 2016. Publications under consideration (219,191 articles) were examined using quantitative and qualitative methods to evaluate general information about publications; evolution of research topics by keyword analysis; performance of countries, research centers and journals; and international collaborations. There was a threefold increase in number of articles throughout the period. The publications were related to 35 WoS categories; and mechanics and thermodynamics were dominating ones. International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer was the leading journal in the field. The USA and China were outstanding countries of the field. Collaboration between these countries corresponded to 6.57% of all collaborative publications. Industrialized and developing countries dominated research activities in the field. Indian Institute of Technology was the leading research center due to number of publications. The results showed that heat transfer, finite element method, friction, wear, simulation, and fatigue are important topics of the field. There is an upward trend in research related to nanofluids, microchannel, phase change materials, and carbon nanotubes.

    Artykuł prezentuje rezultaty projektu badawczego percepcji użytkowników systemu rowerów miejskich BiKeR w Białymstoku. Powstały model percepcji jest podstawą do modyfikacji systemu rowerów miejskich w celu poprawy jakości usług. Do opracowania danych autorzy zaproponowali hybrydową metodykę będącą połączeniem analizy bibliometrycznej i analizy sieci społecznych SNA. Proces analizy danych pozwolił określić atrybuty systemu mające wpływ na jego postrzeganie przez użytkowników. Opracowana mapa percepcji pozwoliła określić znaczenie poszczególnych atrybutów i powiązania pomiędzy nimi. Głównymi atrybutami warunkującymi percepcję są dostępność i koszty przejazdu. Rowery miejskie są potencjalnym zamiennikiem komunikacji autobusowej, badania nie wykazały postrzegania rowerów jako zamiennika samochodów. Zaproponowana metodologia badań stanowi autorski wkład w rozwój badań nad systemami transportowymi w obszarze logistyki miejskiej. Opracowany model percepcji stanowi nowość w badaniach strony popytowej miejskich systemów komunikacji. Rezultaty badań wspomagają procesy decyzyjne dotyczące systemów rowerów miejskich na etapie ich rozwoju czy modyfikacji.
    The article presents the results of a research project referring to users perception of the public bike-sharing system BiKeR in Bialystok. The resulting perception model is the basis for modifications to the urban bikes systems in order to improve services quality. The process of data analysis helped determine the system attributes influencing user perception. The resulting map of perception allowed to determine the importance of individual attributes and relationships between them. The main attributes that determine the perception is the availability and costs of travel. City bikes are a potential replacement for city bus services, it has not been demonstrated of bicycles as a substitute for cars. The proposed methodology is an original contribution to the research of transport systems particularly in the field of urban logistics. The model of perception is new achievement in research of the demand side of urban transport systems. Research results support the decision-making processes of the public bike-sharing systems PBS at the stage of their development or modification.

    The objective of the paper was to carry out a bibliometric quantitative analysis of publications concerning the application of artificial neural networks in the research area - agriculture and a bibliometric quantitative analysis and subject analysis with regard to agricultural engineering. A number of scientific publications devoted to the ANN found in the data base of the Web of Science - in documents published to 2015 was a basis for the quantitative analysis. Research on the use of artificial neural networks in the research area – agriculture is extending systematically. Moreover, a rapidly growing number of citations prove a continuous increase in the scientists' interest in possibilities of the ANN applications. The quantitative analysis of scientific publications in 5 selected scientific journals and thematically related to agricultural engineering (indexed in the Web of Science) allowed a statement that 236 scientific articles from 1996-2015 were related to the ANN application. The biggest number of publications was reported in Computers and Electronics in Agriculture - 118 articles. In 2011-2015 there was a growing trend in dynamics of publishing of scientific papers devoted to the ANN application to agricultural engineering. Thus, we may assume that the research related to application of the artificial neural networks to agricultural engineering will be continued and their scope and number will be still growing. The thematic analysis of the most often quoted publications from 2011-2015 in the journal Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, proved that they concern both the issues related to the classification problem as well as to modelling processes and systems. We should suppose that the subjects related to modelling of drying processes and application of neural networks for image analysis will grow dynamically in the following years.
    Celem pracy było przeprowadzenie bibliometrycznej analizy ilościowej publikacji dotyczących wykorzystania sztucznych sieci neuronowych (ANN) w obszarze badawczym rolnictwo oraz bibliometrycznej analizy ilościowej i tematycznej w dyscyplinie inżynieria rolnicza. Podstawą dla wykonania analiz ilościowych była liczba publikacji naukowych poświęconych ANN znaleziona w bazie Web of Science - dokumenty opublikowane do roku 2015. Badania nad zastosowaniami sztucznych sieci neuronowych w obszarze badawczym rolnictwo rozszerzają się systematycznie. O ciągłym wzroście zainteresowania naukowców możliwościami wykorzystania ANN świadczy również gwałtownie wzrastająca liczba cytowań. Analiza ilościowa publikacji naukowych w 5 wybranych czasopismach naukowych tematycznie związanych z inżynierią rolniczą (indeksowanych w bazie Web of Science) pozwoliła stwierdzić, że 236 artykułów naukowych z lat 1996-2015 było powiązane tematycznie z zastosowaniem ANN. Najwięcej publikacji odnotowano w czasopiśmie Computers and Electronics in Agriculture - 118 artykułów. W latach 2011-2015 występuje tendencja wzrostowa dynamiki publikowania prac naukowych poświęconych zastosowaniom ANN w inżynierii rolniczej. Można zatem wnioskować, że badania związane z zastosowaniem sztucznych sieci neuronowych w dyscyplinie inżynieria rolnicza będą kontynuowane, a ich zakres i liczba będzie się w dalszym ciągu zwiększać. Analiza tematyki najczęściej cytowanych publikacji z lat 2011-2015 w czasopiśmie Computers and Electronics in Agriculture wykazała, że dotyczą one zarówno zagadnień związanych z problemem klasyfikacji, jak i modelowania procesów i systemów. Należy przypuszczać, że tematyka związana z modelowaniem procesów suszarniczych oraz wykorzystaniem sieci neuronowych do analizy obrazu będzie się w kolejnych latach gwałtownie rozwijać.

    The phenomenon of customer loyalty has long been researched in the marketing literature. Business-to-business marketing literature recognised the customer loyalty issue as an important notion determining business success. The goal of the paper is to identify the area of research that focuses on the topic customer loyalty in the context of business-to-business based on an analysis of bibliometric data of scientific publications indexed in the Scopus database in the period from 2003 till 2017. In particular, the study was focused on the field of customer loyalty in the area of business-to-business, and the authors of that works carried out their research within the discipline of ‘Business, Management and Accounting’, which was distinguished by Scopus.
    Zagadnienie lojalności klientów od dawna było badane w literaturze marketingowej. Literatura z zakresu marketingu business-to-business rozpoznała lojalność klientów jako istotną kwestię determinującą sukces przedsiębiorstw. Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja obszarów badań naukowych, w których podejmowana jest tematyka lojalności klientów w kontekście działalności business-to-business na podstawie analizy danych bibliometrycznych publikacji naukowych indeksowanych w bazie Scopus w latach 2003-2017. W szczególności analizie poddano prace naukowe z zakresu lojalności klientów w obszarze business-to-business, których autorzy realizowali swoje badania w ramach dyscypliny „Biznes, Zarządzanie i Rachunkowość”, wyróżnionej przez Scopus.
    Вопрос лояльности клиентов уже издавна изучается в литературе по мар- кетингу. Литература в области маркетинга типа business-to-business выяви- ла лояльность клиентов в качестве существенного вопроса, определяющего успех предприятий. Цель статьи – выявить области научных исследований, в которых затрагивается тематика лояльности клиентов в контексте деятель- ности типа business-to-business на основе анализа библиометрических данных научных публикаций, индексированных в базе Scopus в период с 2003 до 2017 года. В особенности анализ охватил научные работы в области лояльности клиентов в сфере business-to-business, авторы которых осуществляли свои исследования в рамках дисциплины «Бизнес, управление и бухгалтерия», выделенной базой Scopus.

    This article aims to identify main trends in scientific literature characterising urban smart mobility, on the basis of bibliometric analysis of articles published in the ISI Web of Science and Scopus databases. The study period was set from 2000 to 2017. Authors used a basic technique of the bibliometric analysis of the scientific literature characterising urban smart mobility with the support of the VOSviewer software. The analysis included the number of publications, citation analysis, research area analysis and the most frequent keywords. The analysis led to taking notice of current research trends dealing with the urban smart mobility. The core of the paper is a theoretical framework of research trends, which was developed through a review of scientific literature. The result of this paper is a map showing the existing relationships between key terms, research areas characterising publications dealing with the urban smart mobility and intelligent transport system (ITS). "Smart city" is probably the most "in vogue", debated and analysed concept among researchers and administrative/ governmental representatives from all over the world. This multidimensional concept is mainly based on smart technology structured around few major components: smart mobility, smart environment, smart governance, smart living, and everything that targets the people’s wellbeing. This work focuses on a hot topic – mobility because of its significant impact on the environment by pollution as well as living by requiring intelligent transport systems.

    The purpose of the review was to find out, does being responsible saves firms from bankruptcy? What is the relationship between corporate social responsibility and default risk? What methods and measures are used in the literature to evaluate this relationship? And what is the theoretical underpinning of the studies? Moreover, to explore what are the gaps for future work, Web of Science and Scopus databases were utilised to obtain the relevant articles for review. A total of 24 articles were reviewed using PRISMA systematic literature review and bibliometrics. This review finds that the liter-ature has an unidirectional inverse relationship between corporate social responsibility and default risk. Moreover, most literature utilises the stakeholder perspective as the theoretical framework. A research gap exists in explaining the relationship between different theories and extending the model with various aspects of macro- and micro-economics as well as finance. This article contributes to the theoretical aspect by classifying methods, proxies, and theoretical underpinnings used in the research for corporate social responsibility and default risk.
    Celem artykułu jest ustalenie, czy bycie społecznie odpowiedzialnym chroni przedsiębiorstwa przed bankructwem? Podjęto także próbę znalezienia odpowiedzi na następujące pytania: Jaki jest związek między społeczną odpowiedzialnością biznesu a ryzykiem niewypłacalności? Jakie metody i miary są stosowane w literaturze przedmiotu do oceny tej zależności? Jaka jest podstawa teoretyczna tych studiów badawczych? Ponadto podjęto próbę określenia luki badawczej dla celów kontynuacji dalszych badań. Bazy danych Web of Science i Scopus zostały wykorzystane do pozyskania odpowiednich artykułów naukowych. Po przeprowadzeniu selekcji, ogółem przeanalizowano 24 artykuły przy zastosowaniu systematycznego przeglądu literatury PRISMA i bibliometrii. Z przeglądu wynika, że występuje jednokierunkowy, odwrotny związek między społeczną odpowiedzialnością biznesu a ryzykiem niewypłacalności. Ponadto większość pozycji literaturowych odwołuje się do perspektywy interesariuszy jako podstawowej ramy teoretycznej tych badań. Istnieje luka badawcza w zakresie wyjaśniania związków między różnymi teoriami oraz możliwość rozszerzenia modelu o dodatkowe aspekty makro- i mikroekonomiczne oraz finansowe. Artykuł stanowi wkład w aspekt teoretyczny, ponieważ przedstawia klasyfikację metod, aproksymant i podstaw teoretycznych wykorzystywanych w badaniach nad społeczną odpowiedzialnością biznesu i ryzykiem niewypłacalności.

    Celem niniejszego artykułu jest charakterystyka umiędzynarodowienia czasopisma Zagadnienia Naukoznawstwa. Głównym odniesieniem tej analizy jest baza Scopus, która odegrała kluczową rolę w przeprowadzonej przez Ministerstwo Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego kategoryzacji polskich i międzynarodowych czasopism naukowych. Niniejsze opracowanie wykorzystuje pewne elementy wcześniejszych prac autora (Kawalec 2017, 2019). W analizie cytowań czasopisma Zagadnienia Naukoznawstwa zwrócono szczególną uwagę na źródła, które mają wysoką cytowalność w bazie Scopus, a także wyodrębniono główne obszary tematyczne cytowań.
    The purpose of this article is to characterize the internationalization of the journal of Zagadnienia Naukoznawstwa (Problems of the Science of Science Quarterly). The main reference of this analysis is the Scopus database, which played a key role in the recent categorization of Polish and international scientific journals carried out by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. This study uses some elements of my earlier works (Kawalec 2017, 2019). In the analysis of the citation of the journal Zagadnienia Naukoznawstwa, special attention was paid to sources that have high citation in the Scopus database, and the main thematic areas of citation were identified.

    Business diplomacy acts as a strategic instrument for corporations navigating the intricacies of the global business landscape. This involves establishing, maintaining, and navigating relationships with external organizations and internal stakeholders to achieve business goals and positively influence the business environment. This article presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of the field of business diplomacy, aiming to unravel its structure, dynamics, and trends. Three research questions guide the exploration: RQ1. What is the structure of research on business diplomacy? RQ2. What are the dynamics and significant activities within business diplomacy? RQ3. What are the prospective research directions? The bibliometric analysis covered 74 publications extracted from the Scopus database. Employing a two-stage analysis with Microsoft Excel and VOSviewer, the study identifies key contributing countries, authors, sources, and critical themes within the field. Furthermore, a thorough examination of 10 publications, chosen through bibliographic coupling analysis, enhanced the results, identifying key research trends and insights, and contributing to an enriched understanding of the research area. The study concludes by proposing future research paths to guide practitioners and researchers contributing to the evolving landscape of business diplomacy.
    Dyplomacja biznesowa to strategiczne narzędzie firm operujących w zmiennym krajobrazie globalnego środowiska biznesowego. Obejmuje ona nawiązywanie, utrzymywanie i kierowanie relacjami z zewnętrznymi i wewnętrznymi interesariuszami. W artykule przeprowadzono analizę bibliometryczną obszaru dyplomacji biznesowej, która miała na celu zrozumienie jego struktury, dynamiki i trendów. Artykuł odpowiada na 3 pytania badawcze: 1. Jaka jest struktura badań nad dyplomacją biznesową? 2. Jaka jest dynamika badań nad dyplomacją biznesową? 3. Jakie są potencjalne kierunki dalszych badań w obszarze dyplomacji biznesowej? Analiza bibliometryczna obejmowała 74 publikacje z bazy Scopus. Przy użyciu dwuetapowego podejścia oraz korzystając z programów Microsoft Excel i VOSviewer, w pierwszym kroku zidentyfikowano kluczowe kraje, autorów, źródła i główne tematy w badanym obszarze. Następnie analizie poddano 10 publikacji zidentyfikowanych na podstawie analizy powiązań bibliograficznych. Na zakończenie przedstawiono propozycje przyszłych kierunków badań, które przyczynią się do rozwoju tego nowego obszaru badawczego.

    The establishment of the Research Network Lukasiewicz (RNL) is aimed at strengthening the research potential and knowledge transfer from research institutes to enterprises. The article presents the results of the research potential analysis of 38 research institutes that are to form the RNL, based on data on scientific publications in 2013–2016. The number of publications of RNL institutes was similar to the number of publications of TNO and VTT institutes but smaller than that of Fraunhofer institutes. The publications of RNL institutes had lower values of indicators of international collaboration and collaboration with business as well as lower values of citation indices. Co-authors of RNL publications were mainly affiliated with national scientific units, whereas co-authorship with Fraunhofer, TNO and VTT institutes was marginal. The article also outlines the limitations and challenges of the adopted research method and future research orientations in this area.

    W pracy przedstawiono analizę cytowań artykułów opublikowanych w 24 tomach rocznika „Problemy Klimatologii Polarnej” w latach 1992-2014 opracowaną na podstawie bazy Web of Science i serwisu naukowo-informacyjnego Google Scholar. Przeprowadzono również kwerendę takich cytowań w polskich publikacjach zwartych z zakresu geografii fizycznej, ekologii i biologii. Analizy ujawniły dużą liczbę cytowań w czasopismach z tzw. Listy Filadelfijskiej (164) i bardzo dużą liczbę cytowań w czasopismach i wydawnictwach polskich.
    The paper presents an analysis of citations of articles published in the yearbook ‘Problems of Polar Climatology’ for the period 1992-2014 developed on the basis of Web of Science and Google Scholar scientific- information service. A query of such citations in Polish shorted publications was also carried out in the field of physical geography, ecology and biology. The Journal is indexed by "Cold Regions Bibliography" and Polish "BazTech". 272 articles by 104 authors were published in 24 volumes of ‘Problems of Polar Climatology’. Research problems of vast majority of works related to the Arctic, including, in particular, Svalbard (133 articles), which was the focus of Polish scientists’ research activities. Issues relating to the Antarctic were discussed in 66 articles and focused mainly on the characteristics of different climatic elements and weather processes in the area of Arctowski Station in the South Shetland Islands. The analysis revealed a large number of citations (164) in journals indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (Table 1) and a very large number of citations in Polish journals (705) and publications (441) – Table 4. Taking into account very large number of citations, thematically narrow profile of journals and a relatively small group of authors dealing with issues of polar meteorology and climatology in Poland, it can be concluded that this magazine plays an important role in spreading research achievements in this field.

    Introduction/background: The last few years have seen an increase in the number of publications that address research questions on public consultations in public governance. However, knowledge on this subject is dispersed, and there is a need for its systematisation. Aim of the paper: This paper aims to identify current and emerging research on public consultations in public governance. Materials and methods: This goal was achieved by conducting the Systematic Literature Review. Results and conclusions: The bibliometric analysis carried out has identified four main thematic clusters around which this research is conducted. These relate to: 1. issues directly related to the conduct of public consultations; 2. issues related to deliberative democracy and accompanying matters; 3. issues related to community involvement in public consultations processes; and 4. issues related to the influence of stakeholders and interest groups on the process of public consultations implementation. In addition, this publication has mapped thematic groups that are drivers for further research on public consultations (issues related to public participation in terms of cultural risk theory and public participation in Chinese version of authoritative deliberation) and niche topics for further development (issues related to stakeholders and interest groups in participatory public policy making).

    In this study bibliometric mapping method was employed to visualise the current research trends and the impact of the two most influential models of working memory, namely: A. D. Baddeley and G. J. Hitch’s (1974) multicomponent working memory model and N. Cowan’s (1988) embedded-processes model of working memory. Using VOSviewer software two maps were generated based on the index-term words extracted from the research papers citing Baddeley (2000) and Cowan (2001), respectively. The maps represent networks of co-occurrences of index terms and can be interpreted as an indication of the main research fields related to the examined models of WM. The results of the analysis revealed that the spheres of influence of the two main conceptualisations of WM are rather different than similar. Although the first two clusters, i.e. “brain mapping” and “higher-level cognition and development” are present in both maps, their relative importance varies. The remaining clusters are unique to each map. Baddeley’s theory seems to have a greater influence on “neuropsychology”, while Cowan’s theory - on basic research on “biological systems”, including the nervous system in humans and animals. The second difference between these theories concerns their relations to functions and dysfunctions associated with particular sensory modalities: in Baddelay’s theory with the “auditory modality” cluster, and in Cowan’s - with the “visual modality” one.

    Począwszy od lat 60. XX wieku liczba publikacji w obszarze zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi (ZZL) z dekady na dekadę rośnie w postępie geometrycznym. Z jednej strony zjawisko to powinno cieszyć autorów niniejszego artykułu jako akademików, z drugiej zaś - stanowi konkretne wyzwanie: jak kompilować i syntezować wiedzę, którą już stworzyliśmy, tak aby nasze przyszłe przedsięwzięcia faktycznie rozwijały dziedzinę, której poświęcamy się na co dzień. W odpowiedzi na to wyzwanie postanowiono wykorzystać stworzone przez Luda Waltmana i Neesa Jana van Ecka narzędzie, którego skuteczność wynika z unifikacji dwóch technik bibliometrycznych, mapowania i grupowania. Wykorzystując metodę text miningu, opartą na analizie języka naturalnego, przebadano treść tytułów i abstraktów 6033 artykułów naukowych w obszarze ZZL, odnoszących się do podejść lub metod badawczych. W efekcie badania ilościowego, uzupełnionego i pogłębionego przez jakościową analizę fraz, przedstawiono mapy określające strukturę, nasycenie oraz trendy tematów obecnych w metodologii tejże dziedziny. Wynikiem badania jest wyraźny i ostry obraz różnorodności i pluralizmu w postrzeganiu zasobów ludzkich, a także przestrzeni, gdzie pozornie różne obszary przenikają się nawzajem.
    Starting with the 1960s, the numbers of publications in the field of human resource management (HRM) has been growing in a geometrical progression with each successive decade. Although as a community of academics we should be pleased with this phenomenon, it is simultaneously a challenge: How can this knowledge that we have created be compiled and synthesized so that our future endeavors actually develop the discipline to which we devote our daily efforts? Our response is the use of the research tools developed by Ludo Waltman and Nees Jan van Eck—mapping and clustering—that are effective thanks to their unification. Applying text mining based on natural language processing (NLP) we analyzed the content of the titles and abstracts of 6,033 scientific articles in the field of HRM that make reference to research approaches and methods. Through quantitative research complemented and deepened with a qualitative analysis of terms, we present maps defining the structure, intensity, and trends in topics as found in the methodology of this domain. The main result of our study is a clear and vivid image of the diversity and pluralism present in the perceiving of human resources as well as spaces where seemingly divergent subfields permeate each other.
