Coastline is one type of valuable non-renewable resources. From the perspective of economic theory, it can gather population, promote traffic construction, and then improve the level of international trade. The research object of this paper is the coastline resource in Dafeng area. Firstly, we have a brief summary of the existing coastline evaluation literature, then introduce the location and natural attributes of the coastline resources in Dafeng. Following that, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) model is used to build the economic evaluation index system based on the characteristics of coastline in Dafeng. Specially, this index system consists of 6 factors, and a total of 41 detailed indicators were chosen including water depth, GDP, etc. On this basis, we use the assignment method to quantify the weight of each index, and calculate the comprehensive score of coastline resource by using the YAAHP software. The final conclusion is as follows: The total score of economic evaluation of coastline resource in Dafeng is 0.87. Therefore, the coastline resource in Dafeng will eventually be constructed a unique coastal economic zone, where the implemented port industrial projects will include shipbuilding, logistics, mechanical processing etc.

In this paper, a two-species Lotka-Volterra predator-prey model with two delays is considered. By analyzing the associated characteristic transcendental equation, the linear stability of the positive equilibrium is investigated and Hopf bifurcation is demonstrated. Some explicit formulae for determining the stability and direction of Hopf bifurcation periodic solutions bifurcating from Hopf bifurcations are obtained by using normal form theory and center manifold theory. Some numerical simulations for supporting the theoretical results are also included.

Opis:
The purpose objective of this study was to investigate the influence of finite element meshing accuracy on modal analysis which is one of the basic factors affecting the accuracy of finite element analysis and mostly preoccupies the working staff in pre-processing finite element simulation models. In this paper, we established several finite element models of a welding machine for offshore platform, with the meshing accuracy as the variable and workbench software as the platform for modal analysis, as the same time, comparing the analysis results. The results indicated that for some specific structures and simulation types, mesh refinement alone does not achieve desired results, and the authors indicate that mesh refinement is rarely related to the equipment’s low-frequency modal analysis but it’s great related to the equipment’s high-frequency modal analysis. The findings of this study may serve as breaking the opinion that smaller mesh size means higher calculation precision and provides references for mesh division practices in low frequency modal analysis.

Astragalus is a traditional herb which has been used in China for a long time. It regulates blood circulation (vital energy), invigorates body fluid circulation, protects the flow of blood to fight against the attack of pathogens, and strengthens “blood deficiencies” according to Bencao Congxin. Astragalus was approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 2009 as a dietary supplement for upper respiratory infections, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), asthma, chronic fatigue syndrome, and chronic kidney disease. Thirty journals published in the past ten years were reviewed by using library search engines such as SCI/SCIE, PubMed, and Scopus. In this mini-review, we focus on the anti-inflammatory of Astragalus features, discuss the background of Astragalus and its function in various diseases from water-extracted Astragalus membranaceus, Astragalus saponins, and Astragalus polysaccharides. Based on the traditional Chinese medicine theory, Astragalus is a potential candidate to treat and prevent COVID-19.

Opis:
An explosive co-crystal of 1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetraazacyclooctane (HMX) and 1,3,5-triamino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene (TATB) was prepared by the ball milling method. The raw materials and co-crystals were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and Raman spectroscopy. Impact and friction sensitivity of the co-crystals were tested and analyzed. The results showed that the HMX/TATB co-crystals are spherical in shape and 100-300 nm in size. The co-crystals are different from anintimate mixture of HMX/TATB and they exhibit a new co-crystal structure. HMX/TATB co-crystals are formed by N-O···H hydrogen bonding between −NO2 (HMX) and −NH2 (TATB). The drop height of ultrafine HMX/TATB explosive co-crystals is 12.7 cm higher than that of ultrafine HMX, whilst the explosion probability of friction is 20% lower than that of ultrafine HMX. Ultrafine HMX/TATB explosive co-crystals are difficult to initiate under impact and friction conditions.

Four complexes with the formula of [M5(DATr)12~14(H2O)6](ClO4)10 (M = Mn (1), Co (2), Ni (3), Zn (4)) about their synthesis, structures and some energetic properties (such as sensitivities tests) have been described, where the DATr here denotes 3,4-diamino-1,2,4-triazole. These four compounds are all light metallic complexes with good thermal stability. The structures of 2-4 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and the crystal structures mainly consist of penta-nuclear units. All the structures have a common interesting property in which DATr plays a role of bi-dentate ligand. Besides, it is observed from the crystal structure of 4 that DATr can be also act as a mono-dentate ligand. Thermodynamic studies of their decomposition properties and kinetic parameters show that the four complexes have high thermal stabilities. Furthermore, tests of their impact and friction sensitivities show that complexes (2) and (3) can be potential candidates as primary explosives to replace toxic lead azide.

Opis:
Hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (HTAB), a cationic surfactant, is physically adsorbed on negatively charged silicate surfaces due to electrostatic forces. This reversible adsorption process is important for surfactant regeneration in some industrial applications such as waste water treatment. Cationic surfactant adsorption and desorption from silica surfaces were studied using several methods such as UV, FTIR, XPS, and XRD. However, most of these methods are time independent and ex situ in nature. Quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring (QCM-D) is a power tool that can determine the amount and thickness of the deposited material on the surface in situ as a function of time. In this study, the adsorption and desorption characteristic of HTAB was studied on the silica sensor surface by using QCM-D. The adsorption and desorption tests were performed at a constant HTAB concentration (5·10-4 M, close to CMC of HTAB) at different pH values (3, 5.5, 6.5 and 10). The results obtained from these studies clearly showed that pH is a critical factor determining the adsorption and desorption processes.

As the most recent video coding standard, High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) adopts various novel techniques, including a quad-tree based coding unit (CU) structure and additional angular modes used for intra encoding. These new techniques achieve a notable improvement in coding efficiency at the penalty of significant computational complexity increase. Thus, a fast HEVC coding algorithm is highly desirable. In this paper, we propose a fast intra CU decision algorithm for HEVC to reduce the coding complexity, mainly based on a key-point detection. A CU block is considered to have multiple gradients and is early split if corner points are detected inside the block. On the other hand, a CU block without corner points is treated to be terminated when its RD cost is also small according to statistics of the previous frames. The proposed fast algorithm achieves over 62% encoding time reduction with 3.66%, 2.82%, and 2.53% BD-Rate loss for Y, U, and V components, averagely. The experimental results show that the proposed method is efficient to fast decide CU size in HEVC intra coding, even though only static parameters are applied to all test sequences.

In this article, the elastic buckling behavior of cylindrical shells under external pressure is studied by using a symplectic method. Based on Donnell’s shell theory, the governing equations which are expressed in stress function and radial displacement are re-arranged into the Hamiltonian canonical equations. The critical loads and buckling modes are reduced to solving for symplectic eigenvalues and eigenvectors. The buckling solutions are mainly grouped into four categories according to the natures of the buckling modes. The effects of geometrical parameters and boundary conditions on the buckling loads and modes are examined in detail.

Buckling behavior of cylindrical shells subjected to combined pressure, torsion and axial compression is presented by employing a symplectic method. Both symmetric and non- -symmetric boundary conditions are considered. Hamiltonian canonical equations are established by introducing four pairs of dual variables. Then, solution of fundamental equations is converted into a symplectic eigenvalue problem. It is concluded that the influence of pressure on buckling solutions is more significant than that due to compressive load, in particular for a longer external pressured cylindrical shell. Besides, buckling loads and circumferential wavenumbers can be reduced greatly by relaxed in-plane axial constraints.

With the increasing complexity and variety of production systems, more attention is being paid to preventive replacement on multicomponent systems. Each component is non-identical and has its own degradation process. In this paper, we propose a criticality importance-based spare ordering policy for a complex system, which consists of multiple series-parallel degrading components. Replacement action is triggered whenever the system reliability drops below a lower threshold and spares for replacement are available. Our policy mainly consists of two steps: (1) determine which components to be replaced; (2) determine when to order spares for components selected. In step 1, when the replacement action is triggered, we select components that most need to be replaced within the system in accordance with the optimum ranking of components until the system meets an upper reliability threshold. In step 2, a spare ordering policy for components selected is made and the optimal spare ordering time is obtained by minimizing the expected replacement cost during the once replacement cycle. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the proposed multi-spare ordering policy. Moreover, the proposed policy is of significance for safety-critical systems such as substation automation system, bridge system, nuclear power plants and aerospace equipment.
Wraz ze wzrostem złożoności i różnorodności systemów produkcyjnych, coraz większą uwagę zwraca się na wymianę zapobiegawczą w systemach wieloelementowych. Każdy element takiego systemu jest nieidentyczny z pozostałymi elementami i charakteryzuje się własnym procesem degradacji. W niniejszym artykule proponujemy strategię zamawiania elementów zamiennych dla systemu złożonego składającego się z wielu ulegających degradacji komponentów tworzących strukturę szeregowo-równoległą. Omawiana strategia wymiany opiera się na kryterium krytyczności elementów. Akcja wymiany uruchamiana jest za każdym razem, gdy niezawodność systemu spada poniżej dolnego progu i dostępne są części zamienne. Na proponowaną strategię składają się zasadniczo dwa etapy: (1) określenie elementów wymagających wymiany oraz (2) określenie terminu zamówienia części zamiennych do wybranych elementów. W 1. etapie, po uruchomieniu akcji wymiany, wybiera się komponenty systemu, które najpilniej wymagają wymiany, kierując się optymalnym rankingiem komponentów, do momentu aż system osiągnie górny próg niezawodności. W 2 etapie, opracowuje się politykę zamawiania części zamiennych dla wybranych komponentów oraz określa się optymalny czas zamawiania części zamiennych poprzez minimalizację oczekiwanego kosztu wymiany podczas jednego cyklu wymiany. W artykule przedstawiono przykład numeryczny, który ilustruje proponowaną strategię jednoczesnego zamawiania wielu części zamiennych. Proponowana strategia może znaleźć zastosowanie w systemach o kluczowym znaczeniu dla bezpieczeństwa, takich jak systemy automatyki podstacji, systemy mostowe, elektrownie jądrowe i sprzęt lotniczy.

A generalized G'/G-expansion method is extended to construct exact solutions to the two-dimensional generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation with distributed coefficients. Hyperbolic function solution, trigonometric function solution and rational exact solution with parameters are obtained. Selecting parameters and parameter functions properly, novel light bullet soliton solutions with or without the chirp are presented.

Using the density matrix theory, we have studied the double tunneling induced transparency slow light in the double asymmetry quantum dot molecules. With applied electric field, double tunneling induced transparency occur in the same time. Four absorption peaks are found near the resonance energy level in the absorption spectrum and the absorption peak can be tuned by the applied electric field. The velocity and bandwidth of the multiple-windows slow light can also be controlled by the applied electric field. In our model, with Te =0.1meV, we can get about 0.001c and 20GHz bandwidth in each transparency window. Such a property may be applied in all optical buffers, optical switching and filter.

The effect of application of attapulgite on the structure and composition of a dynamic membrane (DM) of a bioreactor was investigated by means of the electron microscopy, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE). A significant increase of microbial floc size in the bioreactors upon attapulgite application was observed. The content of cake layer in the hybrid dynamic membrane (HDM) and in the dynamic membrane (DM) in the corresponding bioreactor systems were 44.73 g/m2 and 38.12 g/m2 respectively, while the contents of mineral – 6.09 g/m2 and 5.34 g/m2, respectively. Further, with addition of attapulgite, the concentration of extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) in the HDM bioreactor system decreased, whereas the content of suspended particulate matter increased. Self-DM has a porous structure with high porosity. Mineral sub-stance, including O, Ka, Ca, P, S, Cl, Mg and Si, are the main elements in DM, but the main elements content exhibited an increase trend in DM with attapulgite administration. These results showed a positive correlation between the quantity of bacterial populations and biological removal improvement, which indicated that application of attapulgite could optimize the structure of self-DM in bioreactors.

The thermal decomposition of magnesium-aluminum layered double hydroxides (LDHs) was investigated by thermogravimetry analysis and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) methods in argon environment. The influence of heating rates (including 2.5, 5, 10, 15 and 20K/min) on the thermal behavior of LDHs was revealed. By the methods of Kissinger and Flynn-Wall-Ozawa, the thermal kinetic parameters of activation energy and pre-exponential factor for the exothermic processes under non-isothermal conditions were calculated using the analysis of corresponding DSC curves.
