    Opis:
    In the paper, the accuracy analysis of the approximation of the Atangana-Baleanu (AB) operator is presented. The AB operator is the nonsingular kernel operator proposed by Atangana and Baleanu. It is obtained by replacing the exponential function in the Caputo-Fabrizio operator by the Mittag-Leffler function. The Laplace transform of the AB operator requires approximating the factor sa. This is done using the well-known Oustaloup Recursive Approximaion (ORA) approximation. The step and frequency responses of the approximation are compared to the analytical responses. As the cost function, the FIT function available in MATLAB was applied. Results of simulations show that the use of ORA allows us to obtain the accurate approximant of the AB operator.

    The paper proposes a new, state space, finite dimensional, fractional order model of a heat transfer in one dimensional body. The time derivative is described by Caputo operator. The second order central difference describes the derivative along the length. The analytical formulae of the model responses are proved. The stability, convergence, and positivity of the model are also discussed. Theoretical results are verified by experiments.

    In the paper a new, state space, fully discrete, fractional model of a heat transfer process in one dimensional body is addressed. The proposed model derives directly from fractional heat transfer equation. It employes the discrete Grünwald-Letnikov operator to express the fractional order differences along both coordinates: time and space. The practical stability and numerical complexity of the model are analysed. Theoretical results are verified using experimental data.

    In the paper the fractional order, state space model of a temperature field in a two-dimensional metallic surface is addressed. The proposed model is the two dimensional generalization of the one dimensional, fractional order, state space of model of the heat transfer process. It uses fractional derivatives along time and length. The proposed model assures better accuracy with lower order than models using integer order derivatives. Elementary properties of the proposed model are analysed. Theoretical results are experimentally verifed using data from industrial thermal camera.

    The paper presents the implementation of the Fractional Order PID controller to control the temperature in the isothermal room applied in a pharmaceutical factory. The formula of the controller dedicated to transfer function model of the temperature is proposed, the stability analysis using the Matignon Theorem is also presented. Results of simulations show that the proposed controller is able to assure the better control quality than PID controller tuned with the use of auto-tuning function.
    Artykuł prezentuje implementację regulator PID ułamkowego rzędu (FOPID) do sterowania temperaturą w pomieszczeniu izotermicznym stosowanym w fabryce farmaceutycznej. Zaproponowano formułę regulatora dla modelu obiektu opisanego transmitancją oraz analizę stabilności z wykorzystaniem Tw. Matignona. Wyniki badań symulacyjnych wskazują, że proponowany regulator zapewnia lepszą jakość regulacji, niż typowy regulator PID dostrojony zużyciem autotuningu.

    The paper presents the implementation of the basic fractional order element sγ, γ ∈ R on the STM32 microcontroller platform. The implementation employs the typical CFE and FOBD approximations, the accuracy of approximation as well as duration of calculations are experimentally tested. Microcontroller implementation of fractional order elements is known; however, real-time tests of such implementations have been not presented yet. Results of experiments show that both methods can be implemented at the considered platform. The FOBD approximation is more accurate, but the CFE one is faster. The presented experimental results prove that the STM32F7 family processor could be used to develop the embedded fractional-order control systems for a broad class of linear and nonlinear dynamic systems. This is crucial during the implementation of the fractional-order control in the hard real-time or embedded systems.
    W pracy przedstawiono implementację podstawowego układu ułamkowego rzędu sγ, γ ∈ R na platformie mikrokontrolera STM32. Implementacja wykorzystuje typowe aproksymacje CFE oraz FOBD. Dokładność aproksymacji oraz czas trwania obliczeń testowane są eksperymentalnie. Implementacja układów ułamkowych na mikrokontroler jest znana, jednak ich testy w czasie rzeczywistym nie były jak dotąd omawiane w literaturze. Wyniki wskazują, że obie metody można wdrożyć na rozważanej platformie. Aproksymacja FOBD jest dokładniejsza, z kolei CFE jest szybsza. Przedstawione rezultaty eksperymentów dowodzą, że procesor z rodziny STM32F7 może zostać wykorzystany do opracowania wbudowanych ułamkowych układów sterowania dla szerokiej klasy liniowych i nieliniowych układów dynamicznych. Zaprezentowane wyniki są istotne z punktu widzenia implementacji algorytmów ułamkowych w twardych systemach czasu rzeczywistego lub w systemach wbudowanych.

    In the paper the analysis of the impact of the interval uncertainty of parameters on the behaviour of the elementary Fractional Order (FO) transfer function is investigated. The fractional order and quasi time constant are defined as intervals describing deviation from nominal values. Such an analysis has not be considered yet. The proposed elementary, interval model can be applied in modeling of different, uncertain-parameters elements and physical phenomena. For the considered transfer function the methodology of its numerical analysis is proposed and illustrated by simulations. Results of numerical tests point that the best robustness of the model is achieved for relatively lower values of its parameters.
    W pracy zaprezentowano analizę wpływu przedziałowej niepewności parametrów na zachowanie się elementarnej transmitancji niecałkowitego rzędu. Parametry modelu: rząd ułamkowy i pseudo-stała czasowa są zdefiniowane jako przedziały opisujące odchyłki od wartości nominalnych. Tego typu analiza nie była do tej pory rozważana. Proponowany elementarny model przedziałowy może znaleźć zastosowanie do opisu różnych elementów i zjawisk fizycznych, dla których wartości parametrów są opisane jedynie w sposób przybliżony. Dla rozważanej transmitancji zaproponowano metodologię jego analizy numerycznej i zilustrowano ją symulacjami. Wyniki testów numerycznych wskazują, że model jest najbardziej odporny na niepewność parametrów dla ich relatywnie niskich wartości.

    Opis:
    The paper presents analysis of the positivity for a two-dimensional temperature field. The process under consideration is described by the linear, infinite-dimensional, noninteger order state equation. It is derived from a two-dimensional parabolic equation with homogenous Neumann boundary conditions along all borders and homogenous initial condition. The form of control and observation operators is determined by the construction of a real system. The internal and external positivity of the model are associated to the localization of heater and measurement. It has been proven that the internal positivity of the considered system can be achieved by the proper selection of attachment of a heater and place of a measurement as well as the dimension of the finite-dimensional approximation of the considered model. Conditions of the internal positivity associated with construction of real experimental system are proposed. The postivity is analysed separately for control and output of the system. This allows one to analyse the positivity of thermal systems without explicit control. Theoretical considerations are numerically verified with the use of experimental data. The proposed results can be applied i.e. to point suitable places for measuring of a temperature using a thermal imaging camera.
