    This paper presents methods for the identification of mechanical resonance of multi mass direct drive system. Methods have been applied in the field of digital signal processing. Was used spectral analysis to identify the mechanical resonance frequencies of direct drive with elastic connection. Discussed methods of identification have been verified by simulation and real system. Two different input signal was presented: sine and chirp wave. Both input signals gave good result for determine mechanical resonance frequencies, however sine wave with variable frequency determined only for the number of frequency corresponding to the input signal frequency gave better result for determine mechanical antyresonance frequencies.

    Opis:
    Review of the filter structures and spectral analysis algorithms was done. Digital filters allow filtering the speed signal in control loop of direct drive with a mechanical resonance. The analogue filter equations were transformed into digital filters to enable tune them in real time. Spectral analysis with additional algorithm allows to determine the mechanical resonance frequency of multi-mass system. Determination of resonance frequencies allow for proper tune the digital filter. This paper presents selected algorithms of determine signal spectrum. In order to determine the mechanical resonance frequency from the whole spectrum, it is require to use an additional algorithm that was omitted from the consideration. Filters were tuned according to frequency characteristics of the object.

    Presentation of selected structures of remote laboratory. The presented structure enables remote control through the Internet and the acquisition of measurement data. The measurement data are presented using a web interface. The final result is microcontroller measuring and control system with web server.     The study presents results and procedure of object-oriented and test-driven implementation of neural-network-based state estimator. The presented algorithm has been developed for estimation of the state variables of the mechanical part of electric drive with elastic coupling. Estimated state variables – load speed and shaft stiffness torque – can be used in speed control process for reducing mechanical vibrations of working machine. The basic objective was to create a simple, extensible and readable program code, performing the task of state estimation of the considered system. The target platform is a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) from SHARC (Super Harvard architecture Single-Chip Computer) family, which allows for hardware acceleration of matrix operations. The IDE (Integrated Development Environment) available for the selected platform made it possible to write program in C++. The usage of UML (Unified Modelling Language) in the development of control software was discussed.

    This paper presents the results of simulation research of an off-line-trained, feedforward neural-network-based state estimator. The investigated system is the mechanical part of an electrical drive characterised by elastic coupling with a working machine, modelled as a dual-mass system. The aim of the research was to find a set of neural network structures giving useful and repeatable results of the estimation. The mechanical resonance frequency of the system has been adopted at the level of 9.3-10.3 Hz. The selected state variables of the mechanical system are load, speed and stiffness torque of the shaft.

    The article constitutes a set of research referring to the removal of the noise of Gaussian distribution of signal using wavelet analysis. The thesis has been launched of presentation of existing analysis algorithms, starting of discrete transform related to Mallat’s algorithm, and ending with the selected methods on inverse wavelet transform. The task was carried out by using the simulation scripts of package Wavelet Toolbox in MATLAB. The studies of using on-line filtering algorithms has been undergone. The delay value, which was implemented by the various filtration methods, was determined through simulations. The inclusion of the comparison of results allows to evaluate the quality of filtration.

    The research areas of extraction and integration of web data aim at delivery of tools and methods to extract pieces of information from third-party web sites and then to integrate them into profiled, domain-specific, custom web pages. Existing solutions rely on specialized APIs or XPath querying tools and are therefore not easily accessible to non technical end users. In this paper we describe our new comprehensive, non-XPath integration platform which allows end users to extract web page fragments using a simple query-by-example approach and then to combine these fragments into custom, integrated web pages. We focus on our two novel similarity-based web clip matching algorithms: Attribute Weights Tree Matching and Edit Distance Tree Matching.

    Celem podjętych badań było określenie wpływu dodatku zdemineralizowanej serwatki na właściwości ciasta i pieczywa pszennego. Materiał eksperymentalny stanowiła mąka pszenna typu 550 i 750 oraz serwatka w proszku, którą dodawano w ilości 2, 4, 6, 8 i 10 % w stosunku do naważki mąki. Mąkę pszenną oceniono na podstawie zawartości białka ogółem, wydajności i rozpływalności glutenu, wskaźnika sedymentacyjnego oraz liczby opadania. Analizowano właściwości mąki i ciasta pszennego bez dodatku serwatki i z jej dodatkiem na podstawie oznaczeń farinograficznego i ekstensograficznego. Wykonano wypieki laboratoryjne. Mąka z komponentem serwatki w ilości powyżej 2 % odznaczała się mniejszą wodochłonnością, a uzyskane ciasto charakteryzowało się dłuższym czasem rozwoju oraz było bardziej podatne na rozciąganie w porównaniu z próbką kontrolną. Na większość cech ekstensograficznych istotny wpływ miała interakcja pomiędzy czasem fermentacji ciasta a wielkością dodatku serwatki. Pieczywo zawierające dodatek serwatki wykazywało większą wydajność.
    The objective of the research performed was to determine the effect of demineralised whey additive on the properties of wheat dough and bread. The experimental material was a wheat flour type 550 and 750 and powdered whey added in the amount of 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 % of the flour weight. The wheat flour was assessed on the basis of the total content of protein, efficiency and deliquescence of gluten, sedimentation value, and falling number. The properties of flour and wheat dough with and without whey added were analysed on the basis of the determinations made using a farinograph and an extensograph. A laboratory test baking was performed. The flour containing the whey component amounting to more than 2 % was characterized by lower water absorption and the dough with whey had a longer development time, was more susceptible to stretching compared to the control sample. The interaction between the dough fermentation time and the amount of whey added had the most significant impact on the majority of extensographic properties. The bread with whey additive showed a higher baking yield.

    The article presents the results concerning the use of clustering methods to identify signals of acoustic emission (AE) generated by partial discharge (PD) in oil-paper insulation. The conducted testing featured qualitative analysis of the following clustering methods: single linkage, complete linkage, average linkage, centroid linkage and Ward linkage. The purpose of the analysis was to search the tested series of AE signal measurements, deriving from three various PD forms, for elements of grouping (clusters), which are most similar to one another and maximally different than in other groups in terms of a specific feature or adopted criteria. Then, the conducted clustering was used as a basis for attempting to assess the effectiveness of identification of particular PD forms that modelled exemplary defects of the power transformer’s oil-paper insulation system. The relevant analyses and simulations were conducted using the Matlab estimation environment and the clustering procedures available in it. The conducted tests featured analyses of the results of the series of measurements of acoustic emissions generated by the basic PD forms, which were obtained in laboratory conditions using spark gap systems that modelled the defects of the power transformer’s oil-paper insulation.

    Konserwacja historycznych więźb dachowych wiąże się często z koniecznością wzmacniania lub miejscowego wymieniania istniejącej drewnianej substancji zabytkowej. Dlatego niezwykle ważne jest przeprowadzenie wstępnych badań konstrukcji, które pozwalają określić wartość zabytkową tego elementu budowli i jego stan zachowania. Dopiero po takiej ocenie wykonuje się szereg dalszych badań szczegółowych. Podstawową dokumentacją jest inwentaryzacja konstrukcji, która powinna być prawidłowo wykonana i musi posiadać odpowiedni stopień szczegółowości. Na nią nanosi się dalsze badania. Ich wyniki mają posłużyć projektantom do przyjęcia najlepszych rozwiązań w projekcie budowlanym, które przede wszystkim w możliwie najwyższym stopniu muszą szanować zachowaną substancję zabytkową. Jest ona ciągle nośnikiem wielu istotnych informacji naukowych. W projekcie budowlanym określa się szczegółowo zakres prac, a roboty powinny być nadzorowane przez przedstawicieli Wojewódzkich Urzędów Ochrony Zabytków. W takich państwach jak Niemcy, Francja, Republika Czeska, Słowacja i Belgia w coraz większym stopniu używa się przy tego typu naprawach tradycyjnych technik ciesielskich i wymienia się tylko bardzo uszkodzone fragmenty konstrukcji. W krajach tych dba się również o odpowiedni rozwój i kontynuację rzemiosła. W Europie standardem w analizie zabytkowych konstrukcji drewnianych stają się także badania dendrochronologiczne. Realizowane projekty remontów zabytkowych drewnianych więźb dachowych uwzględniają w coraz większym stopniu wyniki interdyscyplinarnych badań naukowych tych unikalnych konstrukcji ciesielskich oraz ich specyfikę. Powinno zakładać się pełną odwracalność prowadzonych zabiegów, a w czasie realizacji prac należy ściśle przestrzegać przyjętych w projekcie rozwiązań.
    Conservation of historic roof constructions is frequently connected with the necessity of strengthening or local replacement of the existing historic wooden substance. Therefore, it is extremely important to conduct initial examination of the construction, which allows for assessing the historic value of that element of the building and its state of preservation. Only after such assessment several more detailed tests can be carried out. The basic documentation is construction inventory, which should be properly made and sufficiently detailed. Further test results are then marked on it. The results are to help the designers to select the best solutions for the building project which, first of all, are to protect the preserved historic substance since it still is a means of obtaining essential scientific information. The range of work is precisely defined in the building project, and the work should be supervised by representatives of Voivodeship Office for Monument Protection. In countries such as Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Belgium traditional carpentry techniques are increasingly used for such repairs and only the seriously damaged construction fragments are replaced. In those countries the proper development and continuation of craft are also cared for. Dendrochronological examination is also becoming a standard in the analysis of historic wooden constructions in Europe. The realized renovation projects of historic wooden roof truss take into account the results of interdisciplinary scientific research and the specificity of those unique carpentry constructions to a considerable degree. The full reversibility of the applied treatment should be assumed, and the solutions approved in the project should be strictly abided by duringthe realization stage.

    W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczących analizy uciążliwości hałasu infradźwiękowego występującego na stanowiskach pracy biurowej. Badania obejmowały~ pomiary parametrów akustycznych charakteryzujących ten rodzaj hałasu i badania ankietowe w środowisku pracy oraz eksperyment w warunkach laboratoryjnych na modelowym stanowisku pracy. Zaproponowano wartość dopuszczalną hałasu infradźwiękowego dla stanowisk pracy koncepcyjnej wymagającej koncentracji uwagi, równoważny poziom ciśnienia akustycznego skorygowany charakterystyką częstotliwościową G w czasie pobytu pracownika na stanowisku pracy LGeq'Te nie powinien przekraczać 86 dB. Dodatkowo równoważny poziom dźwięku A w czasie pobytu pracownika na stanowisku pracy LAeq'Te nie powinien przekraczać 35-45 dB.
    In this article the results of tests concerning the analysis of annoyance of infrasonic noise that occurs at the work station located in offices are presented. The tests covered measurements of acoustic parameters specific for this type of noise and a survey conducted in the working environment and an experiment in laboratory conditions on a model of a work station. Proposed admissible value for workplaces when performing conceptual work that requires attention focus; equivalent G-weighted sound pressure level LGeq'Te over duration Te (Tee≤ 8h) can not exceed 86 dB. Additionally equivalent-continuous A-weighted sound pressure level LAeq,Te over duration Tee (Tee ≤8h) should not exceed 35-45 dB.

    Opis:
    Germinability and the content of soluble carbohydrates were analysed in cereal seed (winter rye, cv. Warko; spring wheat, cv. Santa; hexaploid winter triticale, cv. Fidelio and cv. Woltario). Seed moisture content (mc) was equilibrated over silica gel to 0.08 g H2O/g dry mass and stored in a desiccator at 20oC for up to 205 weeks or were equilibrated to mc 0.06, 0.08 or 0.10 g H2O/g dm and subjected to artificial aging at 35oC in air-tight laminated aluminium foil packages for 205 weeks. It was shown that the rate of seed aging depended on the species and seed moisture content. The fastest decrease of germinability upon storage was observed in seed with the highest moisture level. Complete germinability loss for winter rye, winter triticale cv. Fidelio, winter triticale cv. Woltario and spring wheat seed with mc 0.10 g H2O/g dm3 occurred after 81, 81, 101 and 133 weeks, respectively. Fructose, glucose, galactose, myo-inositol, sucrose, galactinol, raffinose, stachyose and verbascose were the main soluble carbohydrates found in the seed. The obtained data on the contents of specific sugars and the composition of soluble sugars fraction in seed of rye, wheat and triticale did not corroborate any profound effect of reducing sugars, sucrose and oligosaccharides on seed longevity.

    Opis:
    New biological properties of selected insect peptides are presented. The subjects of the investigation included insect oostatic peptides, like Neb-colloostatin (I) and Neb-TMOF(II), and/or insect peptides with antiviral or antitumor activity, such as alloferon (III) and its analogues modified at position 1 of the peptide chain. In the study was also included the oligopeptide Any-GS (VII) and its truncated analogues. The peptides were tested for antimicrobial activity on a series of bacterial species, antiviral activity against Human Herpes Virus type 1 (HHV-1) in vitro using a Vero cell line, and the growth and development of plant pathogens Phoma narcissi and Botrytis tulipae. The results of the biological investigations indicate that among the peptides investigated, compounds VII and IX inhibit the growth of plant pathogens P. narcissi and B. tulipae, whereas compounds I and II stimulate the mycelium growth of the aforementioned pathogens. Other peptides show slow antimicrobial activity but do not inhibit the replication of HHV-1 in Vero cells.
