Opis:
Na temat reakcji posturalnej dziecka na obciążenie w postaci plecaka powstało wiele prac badawczych. Oceniały one parametry stabilograficzne, zmiany w postawie ciała, relacje między ciężarem i położeniem plecaka, a jakością tych zmian. Autorzy chcąc uzupełnić dotychczas uzyskaną wiedzę na ten temat zdecydowali się na zaprojektowanie badania, które obejmuje próby z plecakiem założonym nie tylko z tyłu, ale i z przodu ciała co pozwoli stwierdzić czy tak zadane obciążenie wywoła różne wzorce kompensacyjne.
Until now many researches about Children‟s postural response to backpack load were done. Research workers have already evaluated changes in the posturographic parameters, body posture, relationship between the size, location of the backpack and the quality of these changes etc. To broaden knowledge about that issue authors decided to do experiment which compares two situations: when backpack is placed at the back and in the front of the body. Such experiment may point out whether this two conditions determine different compensation patterns.

Opis:
Celem pracy była próba wyznaczenia parametrów kinematycznych ruchów zachodzących w przestrzeni trójwymiarowej przy użycie prostych technik wideo. Wychodząc naprzeciw potrzebie rejestrowania i analizy złożonego aktu ruchowego opracowano systemy takie jak VICON, SMART BTS czy QUALISYS. Dzięki zastosowaniu więcej niż jednej kamery umożliwiają one badanie ruchu przestrzennego we wszystkich płaszczyznach z dużą dokładnością. W pracy zaproponowano algorytm pozwalający na wykorzystanie tylko jednej kamery wideo do wyznaczenia parametrów kinematycznych w innej płaszczyźnie niż płaszczyzna kamery, stosując dodatkowo informacje o parametrach antropometrycznych ciała człowieka. Praktyczne zastosowanie przetestowano dla badania kinematyki ruchu wyciskania sztangi na zawodnikach wysokiej klasy AWF Katowice.
The goal of the paper is to try to point out the kinematical parameters of movements which take place in three - dimensional space by using simple video technique. To record and analyze the complicated body movement different systems such as VICON, Smart BTS or Qualisys have been worked out. With the use of more than one camera this programs enable us to study spatial movements in all plains with high precision. The Authors propose employing an algorithm which let us point out kinematical parameters in a plain other than the recording one, additionally using some information about anthropometric parameters of human body. The handiness of this method was tested during doing researches about kinematic of lifting. The people who participate in researches were high rang competitors from AWF Katowice.

Semi-bulk epitaxial layers of GaSb and AlGaSb up to 3 and 1 mm thick, respectively, were successfully grown by the liquid phase electroepitaxy on GaSb substrates. The growth procedure allowed us to achieve high crystallographic perfection as well as compositional uniformity of ternary layers.

Opis:
Results on the growth of GaAs on (001) GaAs substrates by the epitaxial lateral overgrowth technique are reported. We show that the ratio of normal to lateral growth rates in the epitaxial lateral overgrowth process can be controlled by the crystallographic orientation of the seeds and by Si adding to the melt. Experimental data showing that the dislocations threading from the substrate are efficiently filtered and cannot propagate to the epitaxial lateral overgrowth layers are presented. These findings prove that the epitaxial lateral overgrowth process is the powerful method to grow epilayers with low dislocation density on high dislocation density substrates.

Opis:
Optical measurements of bulk GaSb:S reveal the structure of the lattice two phonon absorption and acceptor-valence band transitions. A sulphur related local vibrational modes and several bands related to the optical transitions from the ground state of the acceptor level are observed. A comparison of transport and optical measurements for GaSb:Te and AlGaSb:Te shows that in the alloy it is easier to obtain high concentrations of the electrically active Te impurity.

We report investigations of the Hall effect and conductivity of Te doped Al$\text{}_{x}$Ga$\text{}_{1-x}$As (x = 0.3). After illumination at low temperature, the conductivity decreases in two steps on warming. These steps are explained in terms of the two sets of energy levels associated with two types of Te-DX centers depending on the neighboring host cation (Ga or Al) which undergoes the 1attice relaxation. The observed persistent increase in mobility is also explained in terms of the two different capture barriers.

Experimental evidence for unidirectional microcracking in semi-bulk AlGaAs layers grown on (001) GaAs substrates is presented. The asymmetrical microcracking leads to anisotropic lattice misfit relaxation in the AlGaAs/GaAs structure and is explained in terms of higher mobility of [-110]-oriented α-type dislocations than that of β-type dislocations oriented in [110] direction.

Opis:
The Ga$\text{}_{1-x}$Al$\text{}_{x}$As sample of x=0.5 was prepared from a high quality single crystal grown by electroepitaxy on GaAs. The high-pressure diffraction experiments were performed using a diamond anvil cell and a germanium solid state detector. The zinc-blende phase is stable up to about 17.5 GPa on uploading. A high-pressure phase manifests itself at about 17 GPa, a complete phase change occurs at 18.7 GPa. On downloading, the zinc-blende phase reappears at about 10 GPa. The powder pattern of the high-pressure phase shows some similarities with the GaAs high pressure phases.

A high-resolution Laplace-transform deep level transient spectroscopy was used to study electron emission from the DX centres related to group IV and VI donor elements in AlGaAs. This provides the experimental evidence that substitutional-interstitial atom motion is responsible for DX behaviour and for the associated metastability effects.

Localised vibrational mode infrared absorption (10 K) and Hall measurements were made on a series of Si doped Al$\text{}_{x}$Ga$\text{}_{1-x}$As samples with 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.25 grown by liquid phase epitaxy. Localised vibrational modes were detected from Si$\text{}_{Ga}$ donors, Si$\text{}_{As}$ acceptors and Si$\text{}_{Ga}$-Si$\text{}_{As}$ pairs which increased in frequency as x increased. The assignments of new lines observed at 386, 388 and 391 cm$\text{}^{-1}$ are discussed in relation to possible perturbations of the lines from Si$\text{}_{Ga}$ or Si$\text{}_{As}$. The presence of DX centres was inferred from observed persistent photoconductivity and attempts were made to relate this result to the presence of the new IR lines.

Opis:
Opencast mining machines and material handling machines perform an important role in many branches of industry (e.g. mining and rock processing, power) all over the world. This fact caused that different standards were developed containing guidelines for the design of such facilities. The most important of them, which will be discussed in details in the presented article, are: the Australian Standard (AS), German Standard (DIN) and ISO Standard. The advantages and disadvantages of each of them will be discussed, and with all the consequences of using the chosen standard. The authors also present self-developed solutions and recommendations that go beyond the scope of the mentioned standards.
Maszyny podstawowe górnictwa odkrywkowego oraz maszyny przeładunkowe pełnią istotne role w wielu gałęziach przemysłu ( górnictwo i przetwórstwo skalne, przemysł energetyczny, inne) na całym świecie. Fakt ten spowodował, iż powstały różne opracowania zawierające wytyczne do projektowania tego rodzaju obiektów. Najważniejsze z nich, które zostaną omówione szerzej w prezentowanym artykule, to norma australijska (AS), niemiecka (DIN) oraz norma ISO. Przedstawione zostaną wady i zalety poszczególnych z nich, a przede wszystkim to jakie konsekwencje pociąga za sobą stosowanie wybranej normy. Autorzy przedstawiają również samodzielnie opracowane rozwiązania i zalecenia wykraczające poza zakres wskazany w wymienionych normach.

There are various forms of timber sales in the State Forests: auctions, tenders, submission, commission, negotiation, retail, and free−hand. In response to the steadily growing market demand for high quality wood, regular submission sales of valuable timber was launched in Krosno Regional Directorate of the State Forests (RDLP) in 2000. A favourable situation on the timber market at that time contributed to the sale of all offered timber. Since then, an increasing interest in veneer wood, especially of beech, has been observed among companies both in Poland and abroad. The paper presents the results and evaluation of submission sales as a form of valuable timber trade in the years 2000−2009. It also provides an analysis of the revenues obtained from the submission sales compared to the total sale of timber in the territory of Krosno RDLP in individual years. The presented specification from the last decade confirms the right choice of this form of sale in the Krosno RDLP. Thanks to the submission sales, the timber from the Podkarpacie region is highly appreciated in the European and world markets.

Sale of valuable wood assortments in the State Forests takes place in submissions and other forms of timber sale. In response to the growing demand for a specific timber, the forest administration of the Krosno Regional Directorate of the State Forests (RDSF) offers customers the ever−increasing amount of high−quality wood for sale in the submission. This has resulted in an increased interest in purchases of large amounts of wood in one place to be processed by veneer wood companies, and at the same time contributed to the promotion of the Podkarpacie region.The paper presents sale results and prices of veneer wood obtained in submissions and in other forms of sale in the territory of the Krosno RDSF in the years 2000−2009. A detailed analysis of the value of sales of valuable wood in submissions and in other forms of sale in individual years allowed to draw conclusions confirming the correctness of the decisions made in choosing such forms of timber sale.

Artykuł podejmuje problematykę funkcjonowania i rozwoju polskiego rynku wytwarzania energii w kontekście założeń niemieckiego planu Energiewende. Dokonuje analizy komparatywnej polskich i niemieckich celów strategicznych w zakresie produkcji „taniej energii” oraz konsekwencji środowiskowych wynikających z ich przyjęcia. Wskazuje ponadto główne wady i zalety obydwu podejść do rozwoju sektora energii oraz „teoretycznej implementacji” rozwiązań przyjętych w planie Energiewende do polskiego sektora wytwarzania. Jednocześnie analizuje trudności w realizowaniu polityki zmierzającej do obniżenia emisji szkodliwych gazów do atmosfery w procesie produkcji energii elektrycznej.
The paper discusses the problem of functioning and development of the Polish market of energy production in the context of the Assumption of the German Energiewende plan. It presents a comparative analysis of Polish and German strategic goals in respect of production of ‘cheap energy’ and environmental consequences resulting from its implementation. The article indicates at major drawbacks and advantages of both approaches to the development of the energy production sector as well as ‘theoretical’ implementation of the solutions adopted by the Energiewende plan in the Polish sector. At the same time it analyses potential difficulties in the realization of the policy aimed at reduction of the emission of harmful gases to the atmosphere in the process of production of electric energy.
