This article deals with vocational education as an element of globalization in the modern world. The aim of the article is to determine the basic issues in the field of vocational education in times of globalization. The article focuses on such issues as the specificity of vocational education in Poland and in the world, the importance of vocational education for the contemporary world, the concept and features of globalization, determinants of globalization in the modern world and vocational education as a result of globalizing the world today. A man from a citizen of a given state has become a citizen of the world. This fact brings with it both a lot of advantages and many threats, including in the sphere of vocational education, for which ubiquitous changes have brought many new challenges. This particularly applies to the adaptation of curricula to the needs of societies operating in new economic, social and cultural conditions, including taking action to reduce the disproportion between the knowledge mastered by students and the skills or the extension of specialist education. Vocational education must face the necessity of changing priorities in order to educate mobile employees of the market economy, active and capable of continuous self-education, in accordance with globalization trends.
Niniejszy artykuł dotyczy edukacji zawodowej jako elementu globalizacji we współczesnym świecie. Celem artykułu jest ustalenie podstawowej problematyki w zakresie miejsca edukacji zawodowej w czasach globalizacji. W artykule skoncentrowano się na takich kwestiach, jak specyfika edukacji zawodowej w Polsce i na świecie, znaczenie edukacji zawodowej dla współczesnego świata, pojęcie i cechy globalizacji, jak również determinanty/ uwarunkowania globalizacji we współczesnym świecie i edukacja zawodowa jako efekt globalizującego się świata. Człowiek, z obywatela danego państwa, stał się obywatelem świata. Fakt ten niesie ze sobą zarówno dużo zalet, jak i zagrożeń, w tym w sferze edukacji zawodowej, dla której wszechobecne przemiany przyniosły wiele nowych wyzwań. Dotyczy to zwłaszcza przystosowania programów nauczania do potrzeb społeczeństw funkcjonujących w nowych warunkach gospodarczych, społecznych i kulturowych, w tym podjęcia działań zmniejszających dysproporcję między opanowywaną przez uczniów wiedzą a umiejętnościami czy rozszerzenia kształcenia specjalistycznego. Szkolnictwo zawodowe musi zmierzyć się z koniecznością zmiany priorytetów, aby zgodnie z trendami globalizacyjnymi kształcić mobilnych pracowników gospodarki rynkowej, aktywnych i zdolnych do ciągłego samokształcenia.

In order to identify the mechanisms of governance in professional education of marginalized in Mexico, it was analyzed the basic activities of federal programs of training of the most vulnerables. In the context of our study are of interest the results of our analysis of the principles of the National Institute of Adult Education of Mexico (INEA), which manages the adult education. The National Institute of Adult Education of Mexico is a decentralized body of the National Federal Administration with legal representation and private property, which set in hand by presidential decree published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (August 31, 1981). INEA was established to develop educational programs for adults; the scientific and educational research in adult education; development and distribution of teaching materials; development and implementation of evaluation of adult education; accreditation and certification at the national level of basic education of adults and young people aged 15 years and over, who were not able to obtain the elementary level of education, which is compulsory under Article 43 of the Law on General Education.

Dokonano oceny poziomu wykształcenia rolniczego ludności rolniczej w latach 2002-2007. Rolnictwo jest działem gospodarki o najmniej wykwalifikowanej sile roboczej, aczkolwiek w ostatnich latach nastąpiły korzystne zmiany w strukturze wykształcenia wiejskiej ludności rolniczej. Z przeprowadzonej analizy wynika, że jakość zasobów ludzkich w rolnictwie zarówno w zakresie wykształcenia ogólnego, jak i rolniczego systematycznie ulega poprawie. Nadal jednak poziom wykształcenia ludności rolniczej jest niski. W 2007 r. co czwarty właściciel gospodarstwa indywidualnego posiadał wykształcenie tylko podstawowe i niepełne podstawowe. Wykształcenie rolnicze posiadało prawie 40% kierujących gospodarstwami. Największą grupę stanowili kierownicy posiadający ukończony kurs rolniczy.
The paper describes an evaluation of agricultural education status among the rural people over the period of 2002÷2007. Agriculture is a sector of the economy that employs the least qualified labour force, although some favourable changes in the structure of rural population education have been observed lately. As the obtained results revealed, the quality of agricultural human resources systematically was being improved both in general as well as agricultural education status, however, their level of education held below the average. In 2007, every fourth farmer had just elementary or incomplete elementary education. Around 40 % of farmers were educated agriculturally. Among them, the largest group was constituted by farmers with agricultural training course. Having the demographic problem in mind, the disproportion in the quality of human capital between country and town as well as among the regions is expected to grow.

Opis:
Professional education and capacity building form key elements in successful development of renewable energy technologies, including geothermal. International geothermal schools have primarily been operated for the benefits of the developing countries and have (apart from the UNU-GTP) mainly been aimed at electricity production. There is, however, also an urgent and growing need for geothermal schools dealing with low temperature resources and the application of heat pumps. Many European countries could also reduce CO2 emissions significantly by replacing natural gas or oil with geothermal water. Top European universities and research institutions could furthermore contribute significantly to world climate mitigation by inviting scholars from developing countries to share their knowledge and to participate in the development of clean technology for heating and cooling.
Kształcenie na poziomie profesjonalnym i rozwijanie odpowiednich umiejętności należą do kluczowych czynników, które mają wpływ na pomyślny rozwój technologii i wykorzystanie odnawialnych źródeł energii, również energii geotermalnej. W tym zakresie działalność międzynarodowych szkół z zakresu geotermii była początkowo ukierunkowana przede wszystkim na kraje rozwijające się i dotyczyła głównie (poza Kursami Szkolenia Geotermalnego ONZ) produkcji energii elektrycznej. Istnieje jednakże równie pilne i rosnące zapotrzebowanie na szkolenia i szkoły geotermalne dotyczące niskotemperaturowych zasobów geotermalnych i zastosowania pomp ciepła tym bardziej, że także wiele krajów europejskich może zmniejszyć emisję CO2 zastępując węgiel, gaz ziemny lub ropę naftową energią wód geotermalnych. Najlepsze europejskie uniwersytety i instytuty badawcze mogą ponadto przyczynić się w znacznym stopniu do ograniczenia zmian klimatu na świecie, zapraszając uczonych z krajów rozwijających się do dzielenia się wiedzą i uczestniczyć w rozwoju czystych technologii do ogrzewania i chłodzenia.

Maritime education and training (MET) are under constant pressure from the maritime industry, characterized by extremely rapid development. Due to the high risk in the transport and handling of crude oil, seafarers employed on oil tankers are required to have skills and competencies well above the minimum education standards set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW). Therefore, tanker companies should provide additional training for their employees to ensure the fundamental goals of zero‐accident rates and reduce human error to a minimum. This especially applies to seafarers at the management level, who must have the competence and knowledge to operate oil tankers at the highest professional level. This paper examines the current challenges in education and the required competencies of seafarers at management levels concerning the rapid growth and development of the tanker industry. In addition, some shortcomings regarding the current form of education and training have been considered, and recommendations for the future upgrade of the education and training system for seafarers at the management level are provided.

This article considers professional education and its impact on professional practice. The educational starting points of the topic and the forms and didactic methods of education which help to activate workers and their participation in education are discussed in the introduction. The article presents the psychosocial aspects of life which modify the work performance of the worker. These are partial aspects of his life path and include both individual educational motives and barriers. Educational barriers can be caused, for example, by the inappropriate setting of professionally oriented educational programs. Managers can have a significant impact on workers’ educational motivation.
Artykuł dotyczy edukacji zawodowej i jej wpływu na praktykę zawodową. We wstępie omówiono edukacyjne punkty wyjścia tematu oraz formy i metody dydaktyczne edukacji, które sprzyjają aktywizacji pracowników i ich partycypacji w edukacji. W artykule przedstawiono psychospołeczne aspekty życia, które modyfikują wydajność pracy. Są to częściowe aspekty jego drogi życiowej i obejmują zarówno indywidualne motywy edukacyjne, jak i bariery. Bariery edukacyjne mogą być spowodowane na przykład nieodpowiednim ustawieniem programów edukacyjnych zorientowanych zawodowo. Menedżerowie mogą mieć znaczący wpływ na motywację edukacyjną pracowników.

In the article implications on professional education resulting from civilization changes were presented. Necessity of radical changes in the system of professional education was supported by many arguments including labor market requirements and pending integration processes. Directions of those changes were illustrated which can either be observed already or are expected to appear in future.

The changes taking place in the modern societies, and in particular the changes on the job market, have resulted in several individual consequences. The particular area of interest is the process of human development, up till now explained with the aid of models based on stages of development. These stages assume that the growth and improvement change in terms of quality and at the same time they marginalize the ideas of repetition, reduction and standstill. The aim of this paper is to discuss the contemporary psychological theories and concepts behind the mechanisms regulating the process of transition from vocational education to work. The paper presents the basic theories of Human Agents by Albert Bandura. In its light the mechanisms of self-efficacy are discussed as the most important regulators of vocational activities. Following that, Human Agents concept continuation by Augustyn Bańka is also cited, in particular, the mechanisms regulating the course of vocational career. Empirical relations between the attitudes of young adults entering job market and their perception of self-efficacy are also presented.

The research aims at studying academic requirements of medical students in the context of their professional education. The paper defines the appropriateness of academic goals in relation to modern professional trends and requirements of future health care professionals.The survey involved 407 participants. It was directed at defining the state of student’s learning environment at the department of Latin and foreign languages, in particular it concerned the quality and efficacy of learning and teaching the subject “English for professional purposes”.  The results prove that all of the defined academic aims of the subject “English for professional purposes” correspond to academic requirements of medical students. The following is confirmed by a significantly higher number of responses “very important” and “important” compared to the responses “unimportant” and “absolutely unimportant” (p<0.05), while evaluating the importance of the academic aim. Thus, the performed analysis of survey results concerning the academic requirements of medical students confirmed the appropriateness of setting academic goals in the context of professional education of future physicians. The system of academic goals aids realization of competence-based approach in higher medical education and consequently the development of professional readiness to communicate in a medical setting with health care professionals and patients.
Badania mają na celu poznanie wymagań akademickich studentów medycyny w kontekście ich kształcenia zawodowego. W artykule zdefiniowano adekwatność celów naukowych w odniesieniu do współczesnych trendów zawodowych i wymagań przyszłych pracowników ochrony zdrowia.W badaniu wzięło udział 407 uczestników. Miało ono na celu określenie stanu środowiska uczenia się studentów na oddziale łaciny i języków obcych, w szczególności dotyczyło jakości i efektywności uczenia się i nauczania przedmiotu „język angielski do celów zawodowych”. Wyniki dowodzą, że wszystkie wymienione cele naukowe przedmiotu „Angielski do celów zawodowych” odpowiadają wymaganiom akademickim studentów medycyny. Potwierdza to istotnie większa liczba odpowiedzi „bardzo ważne” i „ważne” w porównaniu z odpowiedziami „nieważne i zdecydowanie nieważne” (p<0,05) przy ocenie ważności celu naukowego. Tym samym przeprowadzona analiza wyników badań ankietowych dotyczących wymagań akademickich studentów medycyny potwierdziła trafność stawianych celów akademickich w kontekście kształcenia zawodowego przyszłych lekarzy. System celów akademickich sprzyja realizacji podejścia opartego na kompetencjach w wyższym szkolnictwie medycznym, a co za tym idzie rozwijaniu profesjonalnej gotowości do komunikowania się w środowisku medycznym z pracownikami służby zdrowia i pacjentami.

Vo výskume sme sa zamerali aj na vzťah výrobných organizácii a pracovníkov k ďalšiemu vzdelávaniu a sebavzdelávaniu vo fáze ich profesijného rastu a kariérneho postupu.
The process of learning in the professional practice involves identification of educational requirements, learning objectives, education planning, selection 87 of appropriate educational institution, the very implementation of education, and evaluation of the educational effectiveness of staff and organization. On the basis of theoretical assumptions we have conducted a study aimed to analyze the lifelong learning on a representative sample of organizations in professional technical practice in Slovakia in relation to the recommendations of the European Union and the Government of Slovak Republic. In the research we focused on the relationship of production organizations and employees to further education and self-education in the phase of their career development and career promotion.

Article contains preliminary report which relates to problem with choosing engineering studies by women. Fifty female students of technical studies and next fifty high school students have taken part in this research. The result have shown that the main reason of choosing this kind of studies is a desire to became an engineer or just a random choice.

How difficult appears in business to divide linguistics, psychology, pedagogics and psychotherapy into separate constituents, when within the framework of one research, they are a indivisible conceptual, experimental and practical complex, working as the single arranged organism actually. In cleanly research aims we will try partly to conduct the dotted reference-points of such differentiation, although, in our view exactly indissoluble alloy of disciplines and their deep interpenetration (what makes the ideological project of this work), capable truly full and comprehensively to overcome the creature of the examined problem.
Dużą trudnością w zarządzaniu okazuje się wydzielenie językoznawstwa, psychologii, pedagogiki i psychoterapii w oddzielnych kategoriach, kiedy w ramach jednorazowych badań są niepodzielnym pojęciowym, doświadczalnym i praktycznym kompleksem problemowym funkcjonującym jako jednorodny organizm. Celem przedstawionych tu rozważań jest próba częściowej odpowiedzi w kilku punktach ze wskazaniem wspólnych obszarów przenikania się poszczególnych kategorii badawczych. Chodzi o przygotowanie pełnego zbiorczego modelu umożliwiającego rozwiązanie zadanych problemów badawczych.

In this paper, I analyse the educational and teaching systems developed for boys joining Vilnius craft workshops. The boys worked (participating in production) and prepared themselves for their future profession. In my paper, I present the educational and teaching paths leading to an apprentice assuming the status of a fellow. It is interesting how the students operated in the structures of the guild workshops and what skills they possessed. The research does not encompass the sons of master craftsmen and out-of-guild craftsmen who would come to Vilnius and attempt to join the craft guilds. These issues require a separate analysis. It was not my intention to provide a holistic study of the issue; rather, I revised and supplemented Józef Morzy’s research in which he partly analysed craft guilds in Vilnius with respect to the essential work skills. In my analysis, I made use of the statutes of the craft guilds operating in Vilnius, one of the biggest cities in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, in the early modern period.

To sum it up it should be stated, that the usage of distance education technologies should be considered one of the most effective toolsets in professional education, continuous education and further training of civil servants in Ukraine. At the same time the following should be noted: Distance education at present is an innovation for civil service. Usage of certain distance courses by authorities is rather an exception than a rule. To our mind, limited usage of such a convenient means can be explained by the lack of legal basis for the system of distance education and the activity of institutions, offering it.
Podsumowując należy stwierdzić, że wykorzystanie technologii kształcenia na odległość powinno być uważane za jedno z najbardziej skutecznych zesta wów narzędzi w edukacji zawodowej, doskonaleniu i dokształcaniu urzędników państwowych na Ukrainie. Jednocześnie należy zauważyć, że kształcenie na odległość w chwili obecnej jest innowacją w służbie cywilnej. Korzystanie z niektórych kursów na odległość przez władze jest raczej wyjątkiem niż regułą. Można przyjąć, że ograniczenie korzystania z tych wygodnych środków dokształcania można wyjaśnić brakiem podstawy prawnej dla systemu kształcenia na odległość i działalności instytucji ją oferującą.

This paper reports on the benefits and challenges of integrating service-learning pedagogy into a professional course taught at a US Midwestern university. Data were collected via observations, interviews and analyses of students’ online discussions, written reflections, and project work. Findings revealed that the service-learning approach improves academic learning, increases motivation to learn and serve, escalates civic values and develops a sense of concern over broader social issues. Most importantly, it prepares students to be civic-minded professionals who are concerned with the betterment of society. Additionally, the authentic and open nature of service-learning was found to contribute to intense group conflicts. Suggestions to eliminate such challenges are also discussed.

The present day the fact is conventional, that the phenomenon of personal deformation is potentially put in any professional work. The most typical are professional deformations of representatives of those professions which can be attributed to the system „person-to-person”. Therefore, it can be asserted, that in the field of jurisprudence some subjects, interacting within such system, are exposed enough intensively to deforming influence. Współcześnie powszechnie wiadomo, że zjawisko wypaczenia osobowości jest obecne w jakimś wymiarze w każdej pracy zawodowej. Najbardziej typowe wypaczenia zawodowe są charakterystyczne dla reprezentantów tych zawodów, w których istnieje relacja „osoba – osoba”. Dlatego warto podkreślić, że w obszarze prawoznawstwa istnieją sytuacje, w których oddziaływania międzyludzkie prowadzą do intensywnych zniekształceń osobowości. W związku z tym jesteśmy głęboko zainteresowani problemem zawodowych wypaczeń osobowości wykładowców na kierunkach prawniczych uczelni wyższych Ukrainy.

Aim. This empirical study aims to conceptualise the prevalence of Informal Vocational Training (IVT) in India. It also explores the missing link at accreditation level between IVTs and other formal vocational, technical and professional courses and depicts their implications in the occupational, economic, social and cultural lives of people. Methods. This study was conducted in the Srinagar city of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in India. Both the survey method and the case method were used for collecting the primary data and applying triangulation methodologically. Results. This study reveals that elites generally dominate in the prestigious technical and professional courses because of better accessibility and affordability, and that the vulnerable sections miss many of these opportunities. The vulnerable sections very often get the benefits of IVTs learnt outside the formal system in finding some employment, but such employment attracts lower prestige and income than what they get through formal technical and professional courses. IVTs find no academic recognition in the existing accreditation system, and so people culturally and socially associated with these IVTs continue to remain deprived. Conclusion. There is a need to develop a credit-based link between IVTs and formal vocational, technical and professional courses so that the skills learnt through IVTs could get transferred to the formal system and attract better occupational and economic rewards. The findings are relevant for both developing and developed societies, but more particularly for societies having a considerable presence of informal economy because IVTs exist more within these economies.

Opis:
Development of a high-quality educational process has long been the main aim of the whole educational system. When talking about the educational system, we mostly refer to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th stages of education, the organisers, moderators and evaluators of which are teachers using their knowledge and experience, and the subjects of which – regardless of the educational stage – are students. Consequently, the whole educational system should focus on students, their needs and abilities, while teachers should be well-prepared to their roles, as the success of the process of knowledge acquisition by students depends on them. This is why teachers’ subject-matter knowledge and their ability to deliver it gained during their professional education guarantee good organisation of the educational process and, as a consequence, its quality. Similarly to the process of foreign language teaching, where the most important skills are related to the practical application of lexical and grammatical knowledge in communication, the education of foreign language teachers should focus on the development of the skill to apply in practice their knowledge of psycho-pedagogy, didactics and foreign language teaching methodology within individual educational activities. Future teachers, when completing subsequent stage of their professional education, should demonstrate not only a high level of theoretical knowledge but also – or perhaps mostly – well-developed skills of future teachers-educators.
Die Ausarbeitung des hochfeinen didaktischen Prozesses ist seit Jahren das Hauptziel des polnischen Ausbildungssystems, das in vier Stufen (Primarstufe, Sekundarstufe, Gymnasium und Lyzeum) aufgeteilt ist und das von einem Lehrer entworfen, organisiert, durgeführt und evaluiert wird. Dieses System ist auf die lernende Person fokussiert, die sich im Mittelpunkt des Lehrprozesses befindet und dessen Möglichkeiten und Bedürfnisse jeder Lehrer bei der Organisation des Lehr- und Lernprozesses in Betracht ziehen sollte. Der Lehrer, von dessen Arbeit der Erfolg des Ausbildungsprozesses der Lernenden abhängt, sollte über ein großes Fachwissen, Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten verfügen, die er in seinem Vorbereitungsprozess zu einem hochqualifizierten Lehrer erwerben sollte. Sie garantieren hohe Qualität des didaktischen Prozesses und Zufriedenheit der Lernenden. Es geht sowohl um Fremdsprachenkenntnisse, als auch um die pädagogischen, didaktischen und methodischen Kompetenzen, die in der Schulpraxis während der Berufspraktika überprüft werden sollten. Eben dieser Teil der Lehrerausbildung, in dem die erworbenen theoretischen Kenntnisse im Rahmen einer entsprechenden praktischen Tätigkeit vertieft und ergänzt werden können, ist eine Basis und eine Voraussetzung für gute zukünftige berufliche Arbeit eines Lehrers und Erziehers.

Over the last decade, the number of all punishable offences committedby juvenile delinquents, including secondary school students, has exceeded60 000. Social maladjustment is a major problem for contemporary parents,teachers, and society. Prevention is one of the ways of responding to those socialphenomena that are considered as undesirable and harmful. Fighting juveniledelinquency requires not only an appropriate approach, but also proper skillsof teachers and educators.
W ciągu ostatnich dziesięciu lat liczba wszystkich czynów karalnych,które dokonywane były przez osoby nieletnie, w tym także uczniów szkółponadpodstawowych, zaczynała się od 60 tys. Niedostosowanie społeczne jestsporym problemem dla rodziców, nauczycieli, współczesnego społeczeństwa.Profilaktyka stanowi jeden ze sposobów reagowania na takie zjawiska społeczne,które powszechnie uważane są za niepożądane i szkodliwe. Zwalczanie przestępczości wśród młodych ludzi wymaga bowiem nie tylko odpowiedniego podejścia, ale także odpowiednich predyspozycji nauczycieli i wychowawców. Zjawisko niedostosowania społecznego ma także istotne znaczenie w perspektywie edukacji zawodowej i aktywności zawodowej uczniów, ponieważ wpływa to na ich sytuację społeczną, walory własne, przynależność do różnych grup – formalnych i nieformalnych, a także elementy kulturowe. Praca i aktywność zawodowa młodych ludzi z trudną przeszłością generuje różne zadania wychowawcze i resocjalizujące względem nich, jak chociażby kształtowanie w procesie pracy norm moralnych wobec innych ludzi, wdrażanie do myślenia w kategoriach poszanowania dobra wspólnego, nauka umiejętności pracy w zespole itp. Bardzo często jednak młodzież niedostosowana społecznie posiada przeważnie negatywny wzorzec pracy, co jest przede wszystkim wypadkową wadliwej socjalizacji. Zadanie ukształtowania prawidłowego wzorca pracy i jej roli w życiu ludzkim spoczywa na kadrze pedagogicznej np. placówek resocjalizacyjnych. To właśnie ona ma pomóc w likwidowaniu niewłaściwych zachowań kompensacyjnych wobec obowiązku pracy, ale również w należytym przygotowaniu wychowanków do zawodowej samodzielności.

W przedmiotach zawodowych, które dominują na kierunku Technika rolnicza i leśna wymagana jest od studentów oprócz wiedzy ogólnej także umiejętność zrozumienia i interpretacji materiału ilustracyjnego dostarczanego w postaci rysunków, wykresów, nomogramów, schematów itp. Klasyczna metoda przeprowadzania różnego rodzaju testów wykonywanych na kartach papieru, utrudnia lub uniemożliwia dołączanie do nich form graficznych. W pracy podjęto próbę opracowania programu komputerowego, który umożliwi przeprowadzenie testu wyboru z graficzną prezentacją pytań i odpowiedzi.
In the professional subjects, which dominate at the department of Forest and Agricultural Technic - a student is required to understand and interpret pictorial material delivered in the form of: drawings, graphs, schemas etc. A classic method of different kind of tests in print makes it difficult or makes it impossible to enclose graphic forms. In this work we try to elaborate a computer program, which will make possible to carry out a multiply test of choice with graphic presentation of questions and answers.

The article outlines the essence of motivational readiness of future teachers for professional activity, stability of motivation and orientation to the pedagogical profession. The author describes three groups of motives and leading factors in professional orientation. The results of the experimental study of the level of students' motivation readiness for future pedagogical activity using the method of studying the direction of B. Bass and the adapted variant of the method of diagnostics of the person for motivation to the success of T. Ehlers are presented. According to the research, over 73% of the respondents in the control groups and 75.2% in the experimental groups showed a low and medium level of motivation readiness for pedagogical activity (only about 5% of the students showed a high level according to the studied indicators). It is proved that traditional approaches to professional training of teachers do not provide the proper level of formation of the personality orientation of the future specialist on the pedagogical activity, and, therefore, on the formation of their readiness to this activity. The expediency of introducing corresponding corrections into the content and procedural component of the teacher training, the need of development and introduction of new approaches in the educational process of higher education is substantiated.

The article deals with issues regarded to implementation of bilingual education in Ukrainian universities. This process can be considered as part of Ukrainian integration into European and world scientific and educational space. Furthermore, this area is being developed according with the National Doctrine of Educational Development. Specific aspects of bilingual education development at the end of the 20th century are noted. Bilingual educational system leads to both getting the education as provided by the bilingual system itself and personality formation when an individual is open to the interaction with the whole world. Applied to obtaining a certain specialty at the university, the goal of bilingual education is a synthesis of communicative and subject competencies. It is reported that a foreign (in particular, English) language is not only the goal, but also a means of understanding the world of special knowledge. Bilingual education features are examined in detail. It is noted that at the moment a comprehensive concept of bilingual professional education in Ukraine has not been built. Currently, only certain aspects of the problem of bilingual education in higher education have been defined. А number of issues have been formulated which need to be theoretically comprehended in order to implement succesfully the bilingual educational system at the universities. Attention is paid to the complex of didactically and methodically relevant factors which depend on the students’ future profession and qualifications. Appropriate criteria have been identified, which influence on many levels on the content, organization and choice of methods of bilingual education in a certain field of study. It is underlined that the factors (criteria) are both the linguistic ones and non-linguistic ones. Finding and taking into account all these factors is mandatory to create the scientifically based concept of the bilingual educational system at the non-language departments.

W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki analizy przeprowadzonych badań dotyczących określenia poziomu wykorzystywania innowacyjnych metod nauczania specjalistycznych przedmiotów przygotowujących do zawodu logistyka oraz zidentyfikowania i określenia ewentualnych zmian w zakresie stosowanych rodzajów metod nauczania w stosunku do wykonanych w tym obszarze badań przez specjalistów i ekspertów w okresie ostatnich 15 lat. Celem artykułu jest uświadomienie, że system edukacji we wszystkich rodzajach polskich szkół nie przygotowuje przyszłych, potencjalnych pracowników do zrealizowania się w wybranym zawodzie, zgodnie z oczekiwaniami pracodawców i wymogami współczesności, bądź nie usposabia do szybkiej zmiany zawodu.

The standard of professional high school education in Latvia envisages including environmental education in the contents of professional schools as a separate subject, however, we see in practice that there are not teaching materials in chemistry education and environmental education provided for professional schools. The problem is even more acute due to the fact that the time provided for teaching chemistry in professional schools is approximately 3 times shorter than that in secondary schools. The research shows us that approximately 40% of professional high school students have knowledge about the character of chemical processes taking place in the environment. One of the main reasons for this insufficiency and the lack of understanding is the absence of didactical teaching materials.
Standardy wyższego kształcenia zawodowego w szkołach na Łotwie przewidują, że w programie nauczania tych szkół edukacja środowiskowa stanowi odrębny przedmiot nauczania. Jednak w praktyce brak jest materiałów dydaktycznych do prowadzenia w tych szkołach nauki chemii i edukacji środowiskowej. Problem ten jest jeszcze bardziej znaczący ze względu na czas przewidziany na nauczanie chemii w szkołach zawodowych, jest on około 3 razy krótszy niż w szkołach średnich. Wyniki badań pokazują, że tylko około 40% uczniów szkół zawodowych posiada wiedzę na temat charakteru procesów chemicznych zachodzących w środowisku. Jednym z głównych powodów tak niskiego poziomu nauczania i braku zrozumienia jest brak odpowiednich materiałów dydaktycznych.
