The rapid increase in the number of vehicles in cities and the intensity of their movement necessitates the use of appropriate transport management solutions. Various telematics techniques are used in logistics transport management in cities, which are the basis for the functioning of telematics systems. This article analyses selected telematics techniques used in logistics transport management in cities and presents the developed concept of changes in logistics transport management in the city of Piła, including the use of appropriate telematics techniques. The existing telematics system in the city of Piła and the proposed solutions were subjected to appropriate examination. This study aimed to verify the quality of the current state of the system and learn opinions on the proposed solutions that could be implemented in Piła, considering the effects that could be achieved as a result of improving the existing system. The survey method was used to obtain relevant information. The questionnaire developed, containing the elements assumed in this study, was addressed to respondents residing in Piła and its environs. The survey was conducted in December 2020 and January 2021.

Opis:

Investigation of the closed three-level HM-network, which is the model of the production transportation in a logistic transport system, is conducted in this article. The approximated expression for the expected income of the central system and the system of the nonhomogeneous differential equations for an average number of messages in network systems, when the incomes from transitions between network’s states are random variables with the set moments of the first two orders, is received. The relation for variance of the income of the central system of network (system of the top level) is also received.

W artykule przedstawiono podstawowe wiadomości dotyczące korytarzy transportowych. Podano warunki jakie powinien spełniać korytarz transportowy oraz porozumienia międzynarodowe normujące powstawanie korytarzy. Wymieniono korytarze przebiegające przez teren Polski, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem korytarza CETC-ROUTE65. Podkreślono znaczenie gospodarcze tego korytarza dla regionów, przez które przebiega. Przedstawiono również niezbędne przedsięwzięcia, jakie należy podjąć w celu pełnego wykorzystania tego kierunku przepływu strumienia ładunków.
The article presents basic information on the transport corridors. Given the conditions to be met by transport corridor and international agreements regulating the formation of corridors. Mentioned corridors running through the Polish territory, with particular emphasis on CETC-ROUTE65. It highlighted the economic importance of this corridor for the regions through which the. Also presented the project needed to be taken in order to fully exploit the direction of flow of cargo.

Some algorithm for optimization steps has been proposed in the article. In presented example has been elaborated some optimization of logistic net for motor transport. Nowadays logistics plays a very important role, not only in the functioning of separate companies. More and more often one can point out its direct and indirect influence on economy. Beside this, globalization of production and associated supply chains makes it even more significant in international economic relations. Increased interest in macroeconomic aspects of logistics and interrelations on the verge of production, trade and transport facilitate the emergence of a new type of central economic policy, called logistic policy. Its main task is to intentionally, directly or indirectly, influence the effectiveness of product flow processes and accompanying information among participants of supply chains. This article attempts to present the weaknesses of traditional transport policy, arguments in favour of the introduction of logistic policy, and global civilization trends being the base of evaluation of transport policy towards logistic policy. It also reviews logistic policies in- selected countries of the world.

Opis:

W artykule przedstawiono autorską koncepcję modelowania wielkiego makrosystemu transportowego, badanego według kryteriów logistycznych. Zgodnie z zasadami analizy systemowej proces modelowania makrosystemu został zdekomponowany na dwa etapy dotyczące kolejno modelowania identyfikacyjnego (jakościowego) i optymalizacyjnego (ilościowego). Efektem analizy identyfikacyjnej powinno być wypracowanie sformalizowanego modelu opisującego makrosystem transportowy w konwencji przydatnej do badań ilościowych, na etapie optymalizacji jego działania. W tym celu w makrosystemie transportowym zostały wyodrębnione takie elementy, jak cel, dziedzina, przeciwdziedzina, zasady i reguły oraz podstawowe problemy decyzyjne, które w drugim etapie badań będą poddane próbie optymalizacji w sensie ustalonych kryteriów logistycznych. Opis makrosystemu transportowego został przeprowadzony pod kątem kryteriów współczesnej logistyki rynkowej, której naczelnym zadaniem jest minimalizacja kosztów przy maksymalnym spełnieniu standardów rynkowej obsługi klienta.
The paper presents an original concept of a large transport macro-system modeling, which was investigated with logistic criteria. In accordance with the system analysis the process of modeling was divided in two stages: identification-oriented modeling (qualitative one) as well as optimization-oriented modeling (quantitative one). The result of the identification-oriented analysis should be working out a formalized model describing a transport macro system in the way useful in quantitative research work at the stage of optimization of its operation. To this end, the following elements were distinguished in the transport macro-system: aim, domain, counter domain, principles, rules as well as basic decision-related problems, which will be tested in the second research stage (optimization regarding fixed logistic criteria). The description of the macro transport system was done with regard the contemporary market logistics, whose main mission is to minimize the costs and simultaneously to maximize the fulfilment of customer market service standards.

Arrangement of logistic companies over oblasts of the Western Ukrainian borderland is studied and characterised. Main logistic centers within the oblasts are singled out. Availability of subjects of transportation and distributional logistics is studied. Railway and automobile networks are comprehensively assessed. Capacity and peculiarities of railway and automobile freight traffic flows are studied. Customs posts and crossing points at Western Ukrainian State border are described. Methods of numerical evaluation of transport and logistic potential index for borderland oblasts are suggested and index values for the Western Ukrainian borderland oblasts are calculated. Numerical evaluation of transport and logistic index is conducted.

The paper presents the results of laboratory tests of passive RFID tags, which were conducted at the laboratory in order to determine the application area of this technology. The study was conducted in three stages: transponders reviews, that involved reading parameters such as the positional relationship between the transponder antenna and the maximum reading distance. The influence of typical packaging materials such as cardboard, foil, etc. on the correctness of reading was also taken into account, dynamic tests of transponders that involved reading tags in a linear or rotary motion at diff erent speeds. Reading more moving transponders, which are also close to each other, was carried out, and transponders research programme, which was to determine the possibility of writing such information and programming during movement.

Wroclaw agglomeration is presented in the structure of the national and international transport system as well as directions of development of basic transport modes in Wroclaw. The situation of intermodal transport in Poland against the background of Europe and other countries was presented. Attention was drawn to the technical and technological problems of existing intermodal transport terminals in the Wroclaw agglomeration. The economic premises of the International Logistic Centre in Wrocław and the concepts of the Centre’s construction are discussed. The PKP PLK Wroclaw Osobowice station was proposed as the location of the Logistic Centre, whose main technological element is the intermodal transport terminal.

The aim of the study is to indicate solutions for a dedicated logistic and transport system that facilitates carriage of goods in the automotive industry. Innovative solutions are the responsibility of the authorities of the region. The need for implementing them could be included in the Transport Development Strategy of the Voivodship, with account taken of their compatibility with the concept of Spatial Development of the Country and the National Strategy for Regional Development. Undertaking dedicated infrastructural and organizational ventures in the region’s leading industry can contribute to the economic development of the region, but this will depend on the organizational capacities and the funding available. At the outset, it is worth investigating/ researching whether, in the opinion of regional entrepreneurs, the proposed solutions are desirable. The article shows the results of such research, confirming the hypothesis that the Silesia’s automotive industry leaders expect dedicated solutions in the regional logistic and transport network.
Celem opracowania jest wskazanie rozwiązań dla dedykowanego systemu logistyczno- transportowego usprawniającego przewóz towarów w branży motoryzacyjnej. Innowacyjne rozwiązania leżą w gestii władz regionu, potrzebę ich wdrożenie można zawrzeć w Strategii Rozwoju Transportu Województwa rozważając ich zgodność z Koncepcją Przestrzennego Zagospodarowania Kraju i Krajową Strategią Rozwoju Regionalnego. Podjęcie dedykowanych (wiodącej branży regionu) przedsięwzięć infrastrukturalnych i organizacyjnych, może przyczynić się do rozwoju gospodarczego regionu, ale to zależne będzie od możliwości organizacyjnych oraz pozyskania odpowiednich funduszy. Warto na początek zbadać czy w opinii regionalnych przedsiębiorców proponowane rozwiązania są pożądane. W artykule pokazano wyniki takich badań, potwierdzając hipotezę, że przedsiębiorcy wiodącej w regionie Śląska branży motoryzacyjnej oczekują dedykowanych rozwiązań w regionalnej sieci logistyczno-transportowej.

Analizując rozwój ekonomiczny Białorusi w okresie transformacji gospodarczej zaznacza się obniżone tempo wzrostu PKB w ostatnich latach oraz wzrost zadłużenia zewnętrznego. Dalsze inwestycje związane z modernizacją gospodarki wymagają poszukiwania nowych źródeł finansowania. System transportowo-logistyczny kraju, powiązany z ogólnym układem komunikacyjnym przestrzeni europejskiej, wyróżnia się dynamicznym rozwojem, w którym znaczącą rolę odgrywają przewozy tranzytowe. W artykule przeanalizowane zostały dynamika przewozów ładunków oraz praca przewozowa podstawowych elementów systemu komunikacyjnego (transportu kolejowego, drogowego, wodnego śródlądowego, rurociągowego, lotniczego) oraz efektywność i trendy rozwojowe w zakresie przewozów ładunków tranzytowych. Pokazano znaczenie korytarzy paneuropejskich z ukształtowanymi kierunkami multimodalnych przewozów tranzytowych. Przeanalizowano usługi przewozowe i strukturę ładunków w tranzycie kolejowym, jako wiodącym elemencie systemu transportowego, przedstawiono dynamiczny rozwój transportu samochodowego, spadek tranzytu transportem rurociągowym, stagnację w przewozach śródlądowych przy posiadanym potencjale dróg wodnych oraz wzrost tranzytu w transporcie lotniczym. Zaprezentowano uwarunkowania dotyczące funkcjonowania białoruskich centrów logistycznych, cechy ich lokalizacji przestrzennej w regionach kraju oraz bariery stojące na drodze do efektywnego funkcjonowania operatorów logistycznych. Położenie geograficzne i poziom rozwoju systemu transportowo-logistycznego dają Białorusi duże możliwości wzmocnienia swoich eksportowych i tranzytowych pozycji w obszarze eurazjatyckim, z włączeniem w światowe i regionalne szlaki dostaw towarowych pomiędzy globalnymi (Europa–Chiny) i regionalnymi (kraje UE–Rosja) ośrodkami geoekonomicznymi.
Considering the tendencies of economic development of Belarus during the economic transformation, such as the slowdown of GDP growth rates in recent years and the increase of the volume of external debt, the search for various sources of investment resources for the implementation of the economy modernization program is required. The transport and logistics system of the country, connected to the pan-European geo-economic space, is characterized by dynamic development with a significant segment of transit traffic. The dynamics of freight traffic, volume and structure of freight turnover of the main modes of the transportation system (rail, road, inland waterway, pipeline, air transport), as well as efficiency and development trends in the transit cargo segment are being analyzed. Significance of the Trans-European transport network corridors as the main directions for multimodal transit flows is explained. Such issues, as dynamics and structure of cargo transportation in railway transport (as the main element of the cargo transit system), dynamic development of road transport, reduction of transit via pipelines, stagnation of inland water transport (with significant potential of waterways), increase in navigation transit in air transport are explained and disclosed. Operational peculiarities of the Belarusian logistics centers, their spatial concentration in the regions of the country, as well as the nature of the barriers limiting their effective operation are presented. With advantageous geographical location and a high level of transportation and logistics complex development, Belarus has a significant potential for expanding its export and transit functions by joining the global and regional cargo transportation routes between global (Europe–China) and regional (EU–Russia) geo-economic centers.

The paper deals with the evaluation of business process management development of the Polish TFL (Transport-Forwarding-Logistics) sector. Up to date, several studies of this type have been conducted, but TFL sector is marginally represented there or even omitted. Therefore, the authors have conducted their own research filling this gap. They have compared the results with the previous studies, as well as identified key determinants of the specific level of process maturity. Generally, there is no dominant level of process maturity at TFL sector in Poland. In particular, the lowest frequently occurred process maturity is level 3 (defined), which is typical for 15% of companies. The grades of other levels are bi-polarized below and above level 3. The largest group at TFL sector (a total of 44%) has been classified at level 2 (managed) and 1 (initial), with 25% and 19% of companies, respectively allocated there. The remaining companies are classified at level 5 (optimizing), and 4 (quantitatively managed), with percentage of 23% and 18%, respectively.

Given actions related to the air transport, we can surely conclude that the contemporary air services market is characterized by dynamic growth and development. A quick modification of factors responsible for smooth functioning requires implementation of actions aiming at increasing the quality of offered services by adapting them to the expectations of the air passengers to be taken on a more systematic basis. The above actions will bring effects only if we demonstrate our expert knowledge of the market and its needs. The market of air services in the 21st century faces strong competition. Therefore, in order to gain information about the factors, processes, and field phenomena, research must be conducted, as it constitutes the basic tool for the shaping of the air services industry. Marketing research conducted in the field of air transport based on a well-structured research scheme allows taking the right logistic decisions, which is the subject of this article.

W artykule przedstawiono transport kolejowy jako element systemu logistycznego Polski. Zaprezentowano charakterystykę transportu kolejowego, stan infrastruktury oraz możliwości przewozowe Polskich Kolei Państwowych. W ramach artykułu wskazano rynek towarów i usług, główne korytarze transportowe oraz przewozy intermodalne z wykorzystaniem transportu kolejowego w Polsce. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań opisano wybrane problemy polskiej kolei oraz zaproponowano kierunki rozwoju transportu kolejowego.
The article presents rail transport as an element of the Polish logistics system. Firstly, it presents basic information about rail transport such as rail’s infrastructure, main companies responsible for the organization of transport and transport capability of the Polish State Railways. Secondly, the paper indicates the market of goods and services, main transport corridors and intermodal transport with the use of rail transport in Poland. Furthermore, based on the conducted research, selected problems of the Polish railways were described. The Article is finished by a propose the directions for the development of rail transport.

The article presents an analysis of railway freight transport in selected Eurasian transport corridors. The role of railway transport in shaping the single European transport area and the benefits resulting from it have been defined. Technical barriers to the implementation of intercontinental traffic were presented and initiatives to activate international trade were discussed.

Gospodarka odpadami komunalnymi zgodnie z dyrektywami UE oznacza gromadzenie, zbieranie, odzysk, unieszkodliwianie i monitoring ich powstawania. Elementem łączącym wymienione zadania jest transport odpadów, realizowany głównie przez specjalistyczne firmy zbierające odpady zmieszane i segregowane. W Polsce w całokształcie kosztów systemu gospodarowania odpadami, ponad 70% stanowią zbiórka i transport odpadów do miejsc utylizacji [Tyc-Szmil 2003]. Koszty te ze względu na rosnące ceny paliwa, wzrost wynagrodzenia kierowców i ładowaczy, powodują że wzrasta potrzeba optymalizacji systemu logistyki transportu w eko-firmach. Do racjonalizacji sytemu transportowego wykorzystywane są ogólnie dostępne programy optymalizujące trasy przejazdów lub stan floty samochodowej, bez uwzględniania działającego systemu. W wielu firmach takie rozwiązania są niemożliwe do wdrożenia, ze względu na dynamiczny charakter systemu oraz najsłabszy jego element, którym jest człowiek długo przystosowujący się do zmian systemowych. W artykule sformułowano problem optymalizacyjny istniejącego i dynamicznie zmieniającego się systemu transportu odpadów komunalnych w wybranym eko-przedsiębiorstwie. Problem został rozwiązany z wykorzystaniem opracowanego modelu decyzyjnego. Na podstawie zgromadzonych danych o systemie logistycznym transportu odpadów w przedsiębiorstwie wielobranżowym MIKI, dokonano jego analizy przestrzennej oraz wyznaczenia optymalnych sektorów zbiórki. Podstawowym celem wykonania optymalizacji było zminimalizowanie wartości przebiegu śmieciarek [km] przy ustalonej stałej objętości zbieranych odpadów. Poprzez wdrożenie zaproponowanego rozwiązania uzyskano obniżenie kosztów zbiórki odpadów i czasu jej trwania.
Municipal waste management according to EU Directives means the gathering, collection, recovery, disposal and monitoring of their creation. The most important linking element in this system is a transport of wastes, mainly carried out through a specialized companies. In Poland, more than 70% costs of waste management system is generated by collection and waste transport from customer to disposal places [Tyc-Szmil 2003]. The effect of rising fuel prices, increased wages of drivers and loaders, is an increasing cost of waste management. A lot of eco-company have to optimize their transport logistics system to minimalizing of costs. To rationalize the transport system are used publicly available computer programs to optimize travel routes or the state fleet. In this paper authors formulation logistic problem of optimization the existing waste transport system. The problem was solved using the developed model of decision-making structure. Authors conduct a spatial analysis of waste transport system for determine optimal collection sectors in the city, based on data collected about the waste transport logistics system in the company MIKI. The main aim of the optimization was to minimize the value of the garbage truck’s courses [km] at a determining volume of solid waste collected.

Dokonana została systematyka modeli, na podstawie przyjętej klasyfikacji, wraz ze wskazaniem najbardziej typowych dla branży TSL kierunków rozwoju.
Critical questions of the article to be answered include: What are the typical business models for the Polish T&L sector?, What are their features? What do they consist of? This article addresses the first question above by providing a framework for the classification of the T&L business models. This concept is a basis for further in-depth analysis of the T&L companies in Poland.

W pracy zaprezentowano aplikację służącą do symulacyjnego badania przebiegu procesów logistycznych. Rozważany problem sterowania przepływem towarów i wymiany informacji w łańcuchu dostaw odwołuje się do sytuacji, w której zasoby centrum logistycznego, wykorzystywane do zaspokojenia zgłaszanego popytu, są uzupełniane towarami z zamówień składanych u jednego lub wielu dostawców. Aplikacja umożliwia badanie właściwości podstawowych, jak również zaawansowanych metod sterowania procesem zarządzania zasobami w warunkach zmiennego popytu oraz różnych parametrów środowiskowych. Za pomocą symulatora możliwa jest ocena wpływu doboru algorytmu oraz parametru minimalnej ilości towarów zamawianych jednorazowo u dostawców na redukcję kosztów transportu przy zachowaniu założonego poziomu obsługi klientów.
The paper presents an advanced software tool for modeling and control of periodic-review inventory systems. In the presented model stock in the warehouse is replenished by one or more suppliers at the same time. The application allows its users to analyze properties of both basic and advanced supply policies in the presence of variable demand and various environmental parameters. Presented software is used to determine the impact of minimum order amount parameter and chosen supply policy on total transportation cost, while still maintaining high customer service level.

The existing space distribution of hotel and service facilities in different places in the world is mainly the result of natural organic growth. Such facilities were built in areas of actual and/or potential demand, provided adequate financial resources and land were available. Additionally, an important factor was also the availability of technical infrastructure, including, in particular, transport. Sometimes those facilities were built without any detailed spatial analysis of their locations. It can be concluded that planning of hotel and service facilities lacked clear and accurate methods as well as analytic tools. The main reason was the lack of relevant databases. Along the development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), information tools started to be used in nearly every area. It should be noted that the development of the hotel and service base can be significantly promoted while using modern ICT solutions. In their article, the authors, among others, propose to use trip planning tools backed by Big Data. A trip planner can be used to collect data that help to determine the location of hotel and service facilities (e.g. hotels, guest houses, motels, leisure, recreation and restaurant facilities). The article presents the case study from the Upper Silesia conurbation, Poland. The use of Big Data allows to select locations of investment corresponding to actual tourist travel needs, especially that every year tourism becomes an increasingly important sector of the national economy in many countries.

The effective functioning of the logistics infrastructure is a prerequisite for the modernization of the regional and, as a result, the national economy, the transition to an innovative development path, as well as improving the population living standards. The study of historical patterns and characteristics of the development of logistics will allow us to determine the main directions for improving the activities of the logistics infrastructure and use appropriate management tools. The most important elements of the regional infrastructure are traditionally automobile and rail transport, which ensure republican and international relations of the region.
Skuteczne funkcjonowanie infrastruktury logistycznej jest warunkiem koniecznym modernizacji regionalnej, a co za tym idzie gospodarki narodowej, przejścia na innowacyjną ścieżkę rozwoju, a także podniesienia standardu życia ludności. Badanie historycznych wzorców i charakterystyk rozwoju logistyki pozwoli nam określić główne kierunki usprawnienia działań infrastruktury logistycznej i zastosować odpowiednie narzędzia zarządzania. Najważniejszymi elementami infrastruktury regionalnej są tradycyjnie transport drogowy i kolejowy, zapewniający republikańskie i międzynarodowe połączenia regionu.

W artykule omówiony został proces planowania drogowej operacji transportowej związanej z transportem ładunku szybko psującego się – na przykładzie ładunku miękkiego truskawki świeżej, gatunek Honeoye, klasa jakościowa I, w ilości 12 [ton/netto]. Trasa operacji przewozu rozpoczyna się w Pile (Polska - miejsce siedziby przedsiębiorstwa transportowego), odbiór ładunku w gospodarstwie rolnym w Buszkowie koło Koronowa, a rozładunek w hurtowni artykułów spożywczych Martin Olsson Cashar (Szwecja - Arsta pod Sztokholmem). W trzeciej części artykułu przedstawiono wybór odpowiedniego środka transportowego, opakowania jednostkowego, zbiorczego i transportowego do przewozu truskawek. Transport żywności szybko psującej się jest bardzo trudnym w realizacji zadaniem przewozowym dla przewoźnika drogowego. Zmiany podczas transportu oraz nieprawidłowości w konstrukcji nadwozia mogą być przyczyną znacznego obniżenia jakości przewożonych ładunków oraz zagrożenia bezpieczeństwa konsumenckiego. Aby prawidłowo zaplanować taką operacje transportową, należy każdą czynność związaną z przemieszczaniem ładunków, zaplanować pod kątem ekonomicznym, logistycznym i technicznym. Zaplanowanie i realizacja tych systemów przy planowaniu bezpiecznego transportu jest głównym elementem dostarczenia ładunku do odbiorcy według jego indywidualnych warunków zamówienia i przewozu.
The problem of proper road transport operation planning is a basic and optimal element of correct execution of transport order carried out by the transport companies. Reliability of carriers is visible in their choice of a proper transport technology and system. The article presents an analytical method of optimal road transport choice with the view of perspective transit setting, done by application in accordance with base method (weighted). In order to plan transport properly, every activity linked with transferring goods should be planned from logistic and technical perspective. Such perspective needs to be taken into consideration when external and fraction characteristics of transport units are compared.

The main goal of this paper is analysis the range of differentiation in the level of the ability of the transport, forwarding and logistic enterprises to obtain and maintain the financial condition which is favourable for continue their business activity. For the realization of fundamental goal of the article it has been put the research hypothesis stating that forwarding companies retain a higher level of operational financial security in relation to other companies from the TSL sector. The recognition of this diversification range of the analysed variable has been done with using of the basic descriptive statistics (i.e., the mean and median) and Kruskal-Wallis Test in SPSS.

The need to use more environmentally-friendly transport modes to meet the growing needs for freight delivery is unques-tioned. However, its practical implementation, especially in city logistics, faces many difficulties. The article discusses or-ganizational solutions improving intermodal transport in the USA and presents concepts and examples of using rail transport to handle logistics in cities.

The article discusses the problems and issues necessary to resolve during organization of the mining machinery's transport on their own undercarriage from a technical and legal point of view. Konin Lignite Mine has the most experience in conducting this type of operations due to the fact that a lot more transports of machines have been conducted than in any other lignite mine in Poland. The article demonstrates how to cope with the logistical preparation of the entire operation, both for the preparation of the equipment and the settlement of formal and legal matters.

W artykule omówiony został proces planowania drogowej operacji transportowej związanej z transportem ładunku szybko psującego się – na przykładzie ładunku miękkiego truskawki świeżej, gatunek Honeoye, klasa jakościowa I, w ilości 12 [ton/netto]. Trasa operacji przewozu rozpoczyna się odbiorem ładunku w gospodarstwie rolnym w Buszkowie k. Koronowa, a rozładunek w hurtowni artykułów spożywczych Martin Olsson Cashar (Szwecja - Arsta pod Sztokholmem). W czwartej części artykułu przedstawiono wybór trasy przewozu, analizę podstawowych wskaźniki techniczno-ekonomicznych, analizę czasu pracy kierowcy oraz wykonano analizę TUL. Transport żywności szybko psującej się jest bardzo trudnym w realizacji zadaniem przewozowym dla przewoźnika drogowego. Warunki prawne oraz specyfika ekonomiczna wymaga od przewoźników drogowych spełnienia bardzo wielu specjalnych warunków transportu. Temperatury, które powinny być przestrzegane przy transporcie opisywanego towaru w poprzednich częściach artykułu nakazują zachowanie towaru w stanie zamrożonym. Najwyższa temperatura w dowolnym miejscu ładunku w czasie załadunku, przewozu i wyładunku nie powinna przekraczając wielkości prawnych przedstawionych w Umowie ATP. Jeżeli jednak niektóre operacje techniczne, jak np. rozmrażanie parownika środka transportu – chłodni powodują na krótki okres ograniczone podwyższenie temperatury w jakiejkolwiek części ładunku, dopuszcza się wzrost o 3[°C] temperatur.
Four parts of the article presented planning activities connected with the process of perishable goods transport, in this case–frozen strawberries. After the harvest strawberries need to be chilled immediately and transported to customer in a controlled temperature environment. (0-1ºC). Strawberries do not emit ethylene and are not susceptible to ethylene as well. Transport and forwarding company that deals with food carriage, especially of products that require being stored and transported in a controlled temperature environment, needs to meet many technical, organizational, administrative and legal criteria. Apart from rigorous legal requirements that all carriers must fulfill, food carriage is regulated by many provisions and standards connected with food and nutrition security. The analyzed operation relates to transport of fresh strawberries classified as top standard quality (class I) which increases technical demands for means of transport, but also which forces workers, transport managers and all transport process participants to plan and organize transport operation in a detailed manner. This may minimize the risk of load damage, at the same time keeping transport duration relatively short. The choice was influenced mainly by: loading capacities of trailers, fuel consumption, systems of trailers equipment related to securing of the load. The choice of two-level floor, adjustable in height allows to load sixty pallets at one time (the order requires transport of sixty-four pallets) where in the case of Krone chillers’ trailers despite a low rate of a vehicle payload, there would be a need to use another set or organize additional transport which would increase the costs of transport operation. Regulations and standards described here, together with higher demands of clients and final strawberries consumers, force the carrier to use modern means of transport. The choice of means of transport was done on the basis of new vehicles available in the trucks market. Economic analysis revealed high cist of a vehicle depreciation (from an accounting perspective) which constitutes an important share (about 40% of total operation costs). However, using old vehicles increases the risk of exceeding delivery date, and prevents meeting the standards connected with food transport, safety and environment protection. I took into consideration volume and weight of goods in terms of number of pallets and range of transport temperatures. I also chose freezing truck trailer FRC which together with semitrailer tractor became an articulated vehicle. Carrying capacity rate is 39% and load area rate is only 70% which suggests that the load is more volume than weight specific. A transport route was quite long, however it’s used often and checked in terms of traffic fluidity which allows us to estimate the probable transport duration. Shorter route does not always mean shorter transport duration. When planning a route, it is wise to use already checked routes and express roads such as highways. An account of daily working period of a driver shows that all breaks were taken, rest and working periods were lawfully kept. A report on chiller temperature indicates that temperature during transport operation was on a proper level and did not exceed the level determined by the customer. Introduction of TUL analysis allows to state which elements of transport process are most and the least time-consuming. Transport itself takes about 73% of time which is a large part of transport operation. However, this figure depends on many factors including: length of routes, traffic flow, traffic hindrances or type of roads. Other activities that appear during transport operations are: load, unload, waiting for load and unload, or vehicles’ control. The operation time should be reduced by minimizing the amount of time that is needed for the activities listed above. Technical inspection of a vehicle could be done prior to load or unload which would shorten the time when a vehicle is stationary during obligatory breaks.

Quality evaluation of logistics services can be performed based on many different aspects. The aim of this paper is the comparison analysis of selected aspects in the area of quality logistics services in refrigerated transport. The objects of conducted research includes: frequency level of company irregularities, importance of factors deciding about company competitiveness, importance of logistic service features influencing customer satisfaction, importance of factors related with flexible approach to provide logistic services, criteria of selection of logistic services or providers as well as prices of logistic services. The research was conducted on the basis of the questionnaires designed for providers and purchasers of logistic services. The subjects of the research were companies which are providing logistic services in refrigerated transport area and using those services. For the purpose of statistical analysis the Manna-Whitney’a and? 2 test were used.

The paper presents the considerations on the nature of the capacity of firms representing the industry TSL (transport – shipping – logistic). Drew attention to the definition of the concept, its importance in business operations. The main aim of this article is to identify a broad set of determinants that may shape the innovative potential of these companies. The article is an attempt to determine the direction of further research on the issue of the potential of innovative enterprises in the TSL.

In the modern world the alternative energy sources, which considerably depend on a region, play more and more significant role. However, the transition of regions to new energy sources lead to the change of transport and logistic network configuration. The formation of optimal core transport network today is a guarantee of the successful economic development of a region tomorrow. The present article studies the issue of advanced core transport network development in a region based on the experience of European and Asian countries and the opportunity to adapt the best foreign experience to Russian conditions. On the basis of artificial intelligence methods for forest industry complex of Sverdlovskaya Oblast the algorithm of problem solution of an optimal logistic infrastructure allocation is offered and some results of a regional transport network are presented. These methods allowed to solve the set task in the conditions of information uncertainty. There are suggestions on the improvement of transport and logistic network in the territory of Sverdlovskaya Oblast. Traditionally the logistics of mineral fuel plays main role in regions development. Actually it is required to develop logistic strategic plans to be able to provide different possibilities of power-supply, flexible enough to change with the population density, transport infrastructure and demographics of different regions. The problem of logistic centers allocation was studied by many authors. The approach, offered by the authors of this paper is to solve the set of tasks by applying artificial intelligence methods, such as fuzzy set theory and genetic algorithms.
В современном мире альтернативные источники энергии, которые в значительной степени зависят от региона, играют все более значимую роль. Однако переход регионов к новым источникам энергии приведет к изменению транспортно- логистического конфигурации сети. Формирование оптимальной опорной транспортной сети сегодня является залогом успешного экономического развития региона завтра. Настоящая статья изучает вопрос опережающего развития опорной транспортной сети региона на основе опыта стран Европы и Азии, а также возможность адаптировать лучший зарубежный опыт к российским условиям. На основе методов искусственного интеллекта для лесопромышленного комплекса Свердловской области предлагается алгоритм решения задачи оптимального логистического распределения инфраструктуры и представлены некоторые результаты моделирования региональной транспортной сети. Эти методы позволили решить поставленную задачу в условиях информационной неопределенности. Дать предложения по совершенствованию транспортной и логистической сети на территории Свердловской области. Зависимость логистики от минерального топлива, является устойчивой тенденцией развития регионов, однако при составлении стратегических планов необходимо на ряду, с плотностью населения, особенностями транспортной инфраструктуры и прогнозом демографических изменений, также предусмотреть альтернативные возможности смены источников энергоресурсов. К проблеме размещения логистических центров обращались многие авторы. Особенностью подхода, предлагаемого авторами этой статьи является применение методов искусственного интеллекта, в частности, теории нечетких множеств и генетических алгоритмов.

The research is focused on developing design theory towards efficient multifunctional facilities for logistics supply chains in the contemporary urban city structures. The development of modern systems based on autonomous transport creates new conditions for their management and generates an emerging need to define dedicated functional service structures. An important element of consideration also taken into account is the scenario for large-size unmanned facilities operation in the multifunctional port facility and its connections to power supply from renewable energy sources. Despite the high degree of complexity, modern transport solutions should be focused on optimizing the distribution time and trans-shipment time within the intermodal supply chain as well as provide ecological logistic solutions. Due to the large number of system components, the study presents a simplified database structure allowing for a comprehensive technological overview within the entire system.

Opis:

Celem rozważań jest ocena funkcjonowania systemów transportowo-logistycznych w województwach zachodniopomorskim i pomorskim w stosunku do innych wskaźników potencjału turystycznego. Metody zastosowane w opracowaniu to analiza danych wtórnych i analiza porównawcza. W opracowaniu scharakteryzowano bazę komunikacyjną w badanych województwach oraz na podstawie danych wtórnych przeprowadzono analizę transportu lądowego oraz zakwaterowania i gastronomii na obszarze obu województw. Rola dostępności komunikacyjnej została porównana według rodzaju transportu: kołowego, kolejowego, morskiego i lotniczego oraz ich infrastruktury. Na podstawie wskaźników potencjału turystycznego porównano potencjał województw północnej Polski i określone bariery logistyczne w rozwoju turystyki Pomorza. O przewadze konkurencyjnej Pomorza decydują nie tylko walory i atrakcje turystyczne, ale też w dużym stopniu dostępność komunikacyjna opierająca się na dwóch rodzajach transportu – drogowym i kolejowym.
An aim of considerations is to assess functioning of the transport and logistic systems in the Zachodniopomorskie (West Pomeranian) and Pomorskie (Pomeranian) Provinces vis-à-vis other indicators of tourist potential. The methods applied in the study are an analysis of secondary data and a comparative analysis. In the study, there are characterised the transportation basis in the provinces surveyed and, based on the secondary data, carried out an analysis of the road transport as well as lodging and catering in the area of both provinces. The role of transportation accessibility was compared by the type of transport: road, railways, maritime and air as well as their infrastructure. Based on the indices of tourist potential, there was compared the potential of the provinces of northern Poland and determined the logistic barriers in Pomeranian tourism development. The Pomerania’s competitive advantage is decided not only by tourist values and attractions but also, to a great degree, the transportation accessibility based on the two types of transport – road and railway.
Цель рассуждений – оценить действие транспортно-логистических систем в Западнопоморском и Поморском воеводствах по отношению к другим показателям туристического потенциала. Методы, примененные в разработке– анализ вторичных данных и сопоставительный анализ. В разработке дана характеристика транспортной базы в обследуемых воеводствах, а также на основе вторичных данных проведен анализ сухопутного транспорта, гости- ничного хозяйства и общественного питания на территории обоих воеводств. Роль доступности транспорта сопоставили по видам транспорта: дорожного, железнодорожного, морского и воздушного, а также их инфраструктуры. На основе показателей туристического потенциала сопоставили потенциал воеводств северной Польши и определенные логистические барьеры в развитии туризма Поморья. Конкурентное преимущество Поморья решают не только туристические достоинства и атракционы, но и в большой степени транспортная доступность, основанная на двух видах транспорта: дорожном и железно- дорожном.

Opis:

The task of increasing efficiency and quality of public transport has gotten special acuteness for large cities of Russia in connection with expansion of service by commercial carriers. There have no works done on the city of Omsk, where the transport system has its own characteristics. In this paper, characteristics of Omsk urban public transport are researched. The scheme that clearly demonstrates what factors have a negative impact on the development and functioning of the Omsk passenger transport system is developed. The measures that improve the efficiency of the passenger transportation system and provide an opportunity to advance the implementation of logistics principles are proposed. The activities took into account the experience of reforming the public transport system in other cities, the characteristics of the Omsk city system and a view to engagement of other scientists in this field of science.

Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja i analiza różnego rodzaju procesów logistycznych, które mogą występować w cyklu życia pojazdu samochodowego oraz próba przyporządkowania ich do określonych grup działań o podobnym charakterze. Opisano procesy występujące w motoryzacji drogowej, szczególnie tej związanej z wykorzystaniem samochodów osobowych, które mogą być zidentyfikowane jako procesy logistyczne. Badania podzielono na cztery etapy, zgodnie z cyklem życia pojazdów. Podkreślono powiązania występujące w łańcuchu dostaw między poszczególnymi podsystemami logistycznymi na każdym z tych etapów. Wynikiem pracy badawczej jest określenie znacznego stopnia skomplikowania działań logistycznych w tym zakresie i ich wzajemnych zależności a także dużą różnorodność zagadnień, co świadczy o interdyscyplinarnym charakterze logistyki. Całościowe spojrzenie na tę problematykę pozwala zrozumieć konsekwencje niektórych decyzji podejmowanych np. na etapie projektowania na pozostałe etapy, w tym także na procesy wycofywania z eksploatacji a przede wszystkim na wymagania z punktu widzenia zrównoważonego rozwoju. Wnioski, które można wysnuć na podstawie przeprowadzonych analiz pozwalają stwierdzić, że uzasadnione jest poszukiwanie i identyfikacja wszystkich działań, które mogą mieć charakter logistyczny aby móc planować i kontrolować wzajemny wpływ niektórych działań (decyzji) na inne, niekiedy bardzo oddalone w czasie, w wymiarze strategicznym.
The purpose of the article is to identify and analyze various logistic processes that may occur in the life cycle of an automobile vehicle and attempt to assign them to specific groups of activities of a similar nature. Processes occurring in road motorization, especially those related to the use of passenger cars, which can be identified as logistic processes are described. The research was divided into four stages, according to the life cycle of vehicles. The links existing in the supply chain between individual logistics subsystems on each are underlined from these stages. The result of the research work is the determination of a considerable degree of complexity of logistic activities in this area and their mutual dependence as well as a large variety of issues, which proves the interdisciplinary nature of logistics. A comprehensive look at this issue allows to understand the consequences of some decisions taken, for example, at the design stage for the remaining stages, including end-of-life processes and, above all, requirements from the point of view of sustainable development.The conclusions that can be drawn from the conducted analyzes allow to state that it is justified to search for and identify all activities that may be logistic in order to plan and control the mutual influence of some activities (decisions) on other, sometimes very remote in time, in strategic dimension.

The article presents the concept of building a transport system model based on the example of maritime aviation SAR service. Opis:

Purpose: The growing importance of e-commerce makes it necessary to look for new solutions in ways of delivering goods on the last delivery stretch from the last distribution warehouse to the final customer. The purpose of this article is to show the importance of last mile transport, to present problems connected with it and to show what modern solutions can be implemented, to solve these problems. Design/methodology/approach: The document contains an analysis of the literature related to last mile transport. Based on the literature, the article describes the problem of last-mile transport in cities and proposes solutions that could improve the flow of goods. Findings: During the literature research, a correlation was found between transport costs and the method of delivery of a parcel at the last mile stage. Originality/value: Contemporary cities and metropolises are an area of dynamic social, cultural and economic changes. More and more crowded streets and increased CO2 emissions are the effects of the development of goods flows inside the city and more people living in urban areas. The study presents modern methods of delivering shipments at the last mile and their impact on freight flows in the city.

Implementing the PKP S.A. strategy shall ensure preparing the Polish railway transport for the upcoming challenges. Opis:

Intermodal transport networks, as examples of business networks created in supply chains, are differentiated not only due to types of key resources in the organization, but also due to such things as network structure, the nature of the organizations involved, the types of relations they have, and the roles of individual actors in the network. The business network is understood as a dynamic system whose configuration depends on the fulfilment of particular tasks and the competencies of the organizations which form them. Such networks are inherently temporary, because a new task can initiate the creation of completely new inter-organizational bonds or change the type of pre-existing relations between network nodes. The cooperation of enterprises in a freight transport network compels one to look at the problem of knowledge management in a wider context. The paper focuses on the first stage of knowledge management, which is knowledge acquisition in an organization and its environment. The paper presents the idea of gathering knowledge, and identification of the sources of disruptions in an intermodal network.

Tegoroczna edycja, pod hasłem Smart Station in Smart City została zorganizowana pod patronatem Ministerstwa Robót Publicznych Hiszpanii przez Międzynarodowy Związek Kolei (UIC) wspólnie z Zarządcą Infrastruktury Kolejowej w Hiszpanii (ADIF). Stała się miejscem spotkania blisko 400 osób z 30 państw całego świata zainteresowanych tematyką stacji kolejowych. Partnerem medialnym konferencji był w tym roku miesięcznik Technika Transportu Szynowego.
