Opis:

The role of reverse logistics in creating added value for producers of plastics is presented here. The premise is the choice of reverse logistics for plastics on the one hand, considering their versatile applications, such as in the packaging, construction and automotive industries. On the other hand, an extremely important issue is that their production is characterized by high dynamics, has a significant impact on the environment, contributing significantly to the use of the valuable resource that is oil. This paper will focus on the economical and environmental optimization of reverse logistics processes in production enterprises. The presented article is part of a research project on developing application methods for the settlement of environmental-economic support for reverse logistics processes aimed at reducing consumption of energy and raw materials by plastics manufacturers, which ultimately translates into added value in terms of so-called environmental benefits.

Opis:

Optimization of production logistics processes through the use of simulation tools brings a lot of benefits to a production company, and thus significantly reduces production costs. Increasing competition resulting from the use of production automation to increase productivity has increased the complexity of production systems that can only be analysed by simulation. Production logistics performs management functions such as planning, motivating, organising and controlling. It does not deal with technological processes, but the organisation of physical delivery and displacement of components and information in the system. An important feature of production logistics is combining supply logistics with distribution logistics. If the production logistics is properly organised, it provides access to all materials and components of a given product during the implementation of a specific order. Simulation tools ensure continuity and rhythm of production after it is started, as well as convenient conditions for using modern internal transport. The article presents the Flexsim simulation tool, which was used to improve production logistics in the studied enterprise. The programme also contributed as an opportunity to improve and shorten production cycles, maintain optimal inventories, select packaging and logistics units, as well as the ability to use automatic identification of raw materials, materials or semi-finished products.

Appropriate management of waste streams is a very important part of business operations as it is reflected in the reduction in the flow and use of materials. It also minimizes negative impact on the environment. The article discusses the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics NAV in the management of reverse logistics processes. We also developed a system supporting reverse logistics as a module for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. It automatically counts waste dividing them into appropriate groups. At the time of writing there was no direct support for waste management in the Dynamics NAV system.

Any disruption that occurs during execution of an order often leads to customer dissatisfaction, as well as loss of his/her confidence. Introduction/background: This article presents the functioning of a production company in the construction chemicals industry. Based on the literature research, the following thesis was formulated: the use of tools to improve logistics processes significantly improves and increases the efficiency of production processes in the analysed enterprise. In the article, the following issues were indicated: analysing the course of logistics and production processes in the analysed enterprise, developing a map of the production implementation process and the products on Line retooling process, analysing the possibilities of implementing tools to improve logistics and production processes and developing recommendations for the enterprise. Aim of the paper: The main purpose of the study is to identify irregularities in the implementation of logistic processes in the examined enterprise and to propose improvement measures. Materials and methods: In the research part, the authors proposed Lean Production improvement tools (SMED, TPM) to optimize logistics processes and production. Results and conclusions: The work created by the authors is a research article that includes a full analysis of the production and logistics processes of a company from the construction industry. The paper presents irregularities occurring during logistics and production processes, and proposes improvements. The authors argue that it is important to introduce the proposed improvements to optimize logistics processes and production, and that they are possible to implement in other manufacturing companies.

Opis:

Purpose: The aim of the presented investigations was to explore the possibilities of the effective use of the 8D method to improve the merchandise distribution processes. Design/methodology/approach: The application of the 8D method involved the use of support tools, such as 5Why or ABC. These tools helped to identify and categorize problems involved in the distribution of goods. Next, major problems and their causes were identified. The 8D method enabled establishing improvement, corrective and remedial actions. The last stage of the analysis was verifying the effectiveness of the implemented actions, which proved that the application of the 8D method to improve distribution processes was justified. Findings: The 8D method turned out to be an effective tool for solving problems identified in the distribution process, which proves its effective transfer from the automotive industry. Research limitations/implications: The correct use of the 8D method, which guarantees obtaining reliable and useful results, is only possible if an interdisciplinary research team is appointed. Such a team should consist of a leader and specialists from organizational units responsible for the process correctness. Small and medium-size companies may have insufficient resources to conduct investigations and analyses in a proper way. Practical implications: The discussed case study proves that it is possible to use advanced management methods in the company. Creating an efficient and experienced team should result in developing an effective mechanism for identifying the causes and solving problems in the company’s logistic processes. Originality/value: An original solution is implementation of the 8D method from the automotive industry to improve logistic processes.

Opis:

Relevant indicators and measurement methods should be assessed in order to contribute to optimize management of an enterprise. Business performance can be measured by various indicators and various business results could be assessed. Analyses of value chains should be focused on specification of so called bottle necks which mention those activities that disable to increase business margin. At the same time, these analyses show the inefficiency caused by oversized of some activities regarding to lower level of assurance or safety and lower performance of other business activities. Importance of multi criteria decision-making methods for evaluation of alternatives doesn´t lie in definite increasing of results objectivity although it should lead to that. Priority of this method lies mainly in simplification of manager´s decision making. It allows managers to arrange alternatives according to extensive file of criteria, it describes particular steps of solution and its logical sequence, this methodology also requires from managers to express their understanding of various criteria importance. All this process of solution is transparent, repeatable and there are evident starting assumptions and also how these assumptions, situations, criteria and incidents affect reached results.

Purpose: The aim of the research was to identify problems and develop a way to improve the communication process between partners in the logistics process. Design/methodology/approach: By analysing complaints and interviewing employees, the most important problems in the process were identified. Thanks to the 5 Whys analysis, the root causes of the problems were then identified. Understanding the sources of problems was used to design and implement an IT system supporting communication between suppliers and the manufacturer. Findings: The use of a quality management tool has identified the causes of the problems observed. Three basic sources have been distinguished: lack of dedicated platform to contact the carrier, lack of a knowledge base about the means of transport available at carriers and lack of integration of documentation with a given carrier in the IT system. By knowing the sources of the problems, it was possible to design an efficient and effective IT system. Research limitations/implications: Improvement of the process was possible thanks to the involvement of top management and awareness of the necessity of changes by interested parties. Practical implications: As a result of the analyses, a coherent design of the IT system was developed, whose implementation ensured that problems in the process were reduced, including sending errors and invoicing errors, as well as a shortening of the average processing time for a single order. Originality/value: The implication of quality management tools to improve the logistics process.

Robotyzacja procesów jest ogólnoświatowym trendem. Obecnie obserwowany jest systematyczny wzrost liczby robotów i manipulatorów wykorzystywanych w przemyśle i logistyce. Skala tego zjawiska w wielu państwach jest różna. Polska należy do państw, w których również obserwuje się wzrost liczby robotów i manipulatorów wykorzystywanych w przemyśle. Stopień nasycenia tymi środkami jest jednak znacznie niższy od poziomu występującego w większości rozwiniętych krajów świata. Roboty i manipulatory przemysłowe mogą być wykorzystywane praktycznie na każdym etapie produkcji, zarówno w procesach wytwarzania, jak i w logistycznych. W artykule przedstawiono analizę stanu robotyzacji w Polsce i na świecie, jak również opisano przykładowe zastosowania robotów i manipulatorów przemysłowych w wybranych procesach logistycznych.
Robotization of processes is a global trend. We are currently experiencing a steady increase in the number of robots and manipulators used in industry and logistics. The scale of this phenomenon in many countries is different. Poland belongs to the countries where an increase in the number of robots and manipulators used in the industry is also observed. However, the degree of saturation of these measures is much lower than the level in most developed countries of the world. Industrial robots and manipulators can be used at every stage of production, both in manufacturing processes as well as the logistics. The article presents an analysis of the state of robotization in Poland and in the world as well as the examples described the use of robots and industrial manipulators in selected logistics processes.

Artykuł przedstawia podstawowe dane charakteryzujące aktywa obrotowe przedsiębiorstw, ich wartość, strukturę i dynamikę zmian. Wskazano także na związek oraz wzajemne uwarunkowania aktywów obrotowych i funkcjonowanie procesów logistycznych. Aktywa obrotowe przedsiębiorstw średnich i dużych na koniec 2018 r. przekroczyły wartość 1 bln zł i stanowią 40% całości majątku przedsiębiorstw. W okresie ostatnich 3 lat wysokie tempo wzrostu tych aktywów spowodowało obniżenie ich produktywności, pogorszenie efektywności funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstw. Przyrost zapasów angażował blisko 30% całego przyrostu PKB. W tekście wskazano na związek funkcjonowania procesów logistycznych z poziomem i strukturą aktywów, a także płynnością finansową, aczkolwiek pomiar ilościowy wpływu tych procesów jest bardzo trudny, może być zrealizowany w konkretnym przedsiębiorstwie.
The text presents basic data that characterises current assets of enterprises, their value, structure and change dynamics. Mutual links between current assets and Logistics processes were also pointed out. Current assets of medium and large enterprises exceeded 1 trillion PLN at the end of 2018 and amounted to 40% of companies' total assets. Over the last 3 years, high increase of those assets caused the deterioration of productivity and effectiveness of enterprises. Increase in the value of inventories generated almost 30% of the increase in the GDP. The relationship between the functioning of logistics processes and the level and structure of assets, as well as financial liquidity, was pointed out. However, quantitative measurement of the influence of those processes is very challenging and hence only possible in case of individual enterprises.

As each organization aims at managing effective logistics processes, risk factors can and should be controlled through proper system of risk management. Implementation of complex approach to risk management allows for the following: - evaluation of significant risk groups associated with logistics processes implementation, - composition of integrated strategies of risk management, - composition of tools for risk analysis in logistics processes.
Ponieważ każda organizacja POWINNA zarządzać efektywnymi procesami logistycznymi, czynniki ryzyka mogą i powinny być kontrolowane, poprzez odpowiedni system zarządzania ryzykiem. Wprowadzenie kompleksowego podejścia do zarządzania ryzykiem pozwala na: - oszacowanie istotnych grup czynników ryzyka towarzyszących realizacji procesów logistycznych, - wypracowanie zintegrowanych strategii zarządzania ryzykiem, - opracowanie narzędzi analizy ryzyka w procesach logistycznych. Przedmiotem niniejszej publikacji jest przegląd wybranych narzędzi analizy procesów logistycznych.

Opis:

The aim of the article is to present the results of the productivity research of a manufacturing company with particular emphasis on logistics processes. The article presents another example of verification of the developed proprietary productivity method, with particular emphasis on logistic processes. An author’s method is used to select indicators, measure productivity and development of processes improvement. The productivity research was carried out in a company in the automotive industry dealing in the production of semi-trailers. A productivity research procedure was developed for the company, it was measured and recommended for improvement of the selected process. The selection of the process to be improved was made on the basis of the forecasted values of the tested productivity indicators, also using econometric modelling. The results of the productivity indicators after the implementation of the improvement were also presented, which confirmed the validity of the applied method and the right choice of process improvement in the company.

The paper presents a reference model of logistic processes management within a supply chain. This model has been elaborated on the basis of SCOR and ARIS architecture and it was the first step to improve products and services as well as to supervise quality of the processes occurring within a frame of a supply chain.

Opis:

Aim of article is to provide indicators of productivity of in logistics processes. Many authors dealing with productivity does not introduce productivity of logistics processes. The- re are indicators for the tasks performed in companies that count of the processes as a whole and attempts to assess the impact of these subsystems on the productivity of the company. The paper is a division of logistics processes at the subsystems: supply, production, distribution and storage. Only material productivity is consistent with the productivity of the production subsystem. Productivity is divided into partial productivity such as capital, materials, labor and energy. Productivity in the company of the dairy industry has been examined. The analysis shows that the materials productivity of the production subsystem results are most similar to the productivity of the company. It should be analyzed in detail what affects the rate and determine an action plan to improve productivity. Further studies should determine the weight of the impact of the partial productivity for company productivity and the weight of the impact of logistics subsystems for partial productivity. This will indicate which areas of logistics have the most impact on company productivity.

W niniejszym artykule opisano wybrane narzędzia systemów automatyzacji procesów logistycznych (SALP) oraz przedstawiono krótką charakterystykę wielokryterialnej metody podejmowania decyzji PROMETHEE z punktu widzenia zastosowania jej do oceny rezultatów wdrożenia SALP w obszarze logistyki produkcji. W ostatniej części zaproponowano metodykę przygotowania danych wymaganych w procesie oceny wdrożenia SALP na podstawie narzędzi modelowania i symulacji.
In this paper, author described chosen tools of systems of logistic processes automation (SALP) and shortly characterized the multi-criteria decision making method PROMETHEE in terms of using it in assessment of implementing SALP in production logistics. In the last part, a methodology of preparing data required in assessment of SALP implementing process, basing on modelling and simulation tools, was proposed.

The current model of organization of supply chains results in inefficient use of transport resources, high transport costs, increasing congestions and CO2 emission. This effect has been demonstrated by research conducted by the authors, as well as by the European Environmental Agency. This situation can be changed by development of alternative business model for collaboration in organisation of the transport processes within the supply chains. The aim of this paper is to present practical implementation of the T-Scale platform that enables collaboration among independent transport users and transport service providers. Moreover, an overview of existing communication platform with its major functionalities are presented. The work is summarized by the major benefits of collaboration achieved by the group of companies operating in the FMCG sector in Poland.

Identyfikacja kosztów logistyki jest przedsięwzięciem złożonym i trudnym do wykonania w praktyce. Efektywność procesów logistycznych wiąże się wprost z prowadzeniem rachunku ekonomicznego w logistyce i jest zasadniczą determinantą projektowania i realizacji tych procesów, w tym zarządzania nimi. W konsekwencji określenie wpływu kosztów logistyki na współczesne procesy logistyczne wiąże się z identyfikacją właściwości kosztów logistyki, ich oceną oraz określeniem tendencji zmian w rachunku tych kosztów, co odzwierciedlają treści artykułu. W konsekwencji zostały w nim przedstawione wymogi teoretyczno-praktyczne konieczne do spełnienia, aby wykorzystać w pełni wyniki poprawnej identyfikacji wielkości kosztów logistyki do racjonalizacji procesów logistycznych w przedsiębiorstwach.
The identification of logistics costs is a complex issue that is difficult to implement in practice. The efficiency of logistic processes is directly linked to the conduct of economic calculation in logistics and is a fundamental determinant of the design and implementation of these processes, including their management. As a consequence, determining the impact of logistics costs on contemporary logistics processes is associated with the identification of logistics costs properties, their evaluation and determination of the trends in the cost accounting, which is reflected in the content of the article and, consequently, there are presented theoretical and practical requirements to be met in order to make full use of the results to identify the correct amounts of logistics costs for the rationalization of logistics processes in enterprises.

Opis:

The paper examines the classical problem of optimization of the size of a delivery to a warehouse. Using a model developed by the author, simulations were conducted using data obtained from companies in Poland. The results revealed that the impact of this optimization on the economic efficiency of an enterprise can be considerable in some cases. It is difficult, however, to develop an appropriate mathematical formula for solving such a problem. The use of a simulation seems to be more appropriate for solving this problem than optimization models.

Procesy logistyczne wspierają procesy podstawowe przedsiębiorstwa i podlegają doskonaleniu . Doskonalenie procesów logistycznych może mieć charakter bieżących usprawnień i/lub poważnych zmian. Te ostatnie są wprowadzane za pomocą projektów. W konsekwencji w doskonaleniu procesów logistycznych przedsiębiorstwa mogą być zastosowane równocześnie koncepcje zarządzania projektami, zarządzania procesami oraz zarządzania jakością. Wskazane jest ich łączne wykorzystanie, co w praktyce napotyka na różnego rodzaju ograniczenia i bariery. W artykule zaprezentowane zostaną przejawy i skutki braku koordynacji tych koncepcji w doskonaleniu procesów logistycznych przedsiębiorstwa oraz możliwe sposoby przeciwdziałania temu. Artykuł ma charakter teoretyczno-metodyczny, a do jego przygotowania wykorzystano metodę krytycznej analizy literatury przedmiotu.
Logistics processes support the basic business processes and they are subject to improvement. Improving logistics processes can have the character of ongoing improvements and/or major changes. The last ones are introduced with the help of the projects. Consequently in the improvement of logistics business processes at the same time the concepts of project management, process management and quality management can be used. It is indicated to use them combined which in practice encounters all sorts of restrictions and barriers. This article will present the symptoms and consequences of a lack of these concepts coordination in the logistic business processes improvement and the possible ways to prevent this. The article has a theoretical-methodological character and its preparation has been based on the critical analysis of the subject literature method.

Background: The aim of this publication is to address the changes in retail trade, which have a direct influence on the development of e-commerce which in turn causes modifications to logistics chain management strategies and methods of flow control. Materials: The article has been written on the basis of an analysis of subject literature together with determining the influence of e-commerce to changes in logistics processes. The publications included in this study have been selected in order to present the subject of e-commerce development as well as evaluate changes in methods of flow control. The analysis has been prepared based on the author's experience and available reports and publications. Results: As a result of the conducted analysis, an assessment of the proficiency level of the changes in logistics processes on the local and international market as well as of the trends for these changes has been made. Conclusions: With the development of e-commerce, a new logistics chain management strategy began to appear, which covered both the process of handling the online and offline sales channel. Therefore, it can be concluded that properly adapted flow control methods will be the means for achieving the goal. Tasks will include: streamlining flow processes, improving the efficiency of logistic processes as well as adjusting them to market requirements.
Wstęp: Tematem publikacji jest opracowanie tematyki zmian zachodzących w handlu detalicznym wpływających bezpośrednio na rozwoju handlu internetowego co przekłada się na zamiany w strategii zarządzania łańcuchem logistycznym i metod sterowania przepływami. Materiały: Artykuł został opracowany na podstawie analizy literatury przedmiotu wraz z określeniem wpływu handlu internetowego na zmiany w procesach logistycznych. Publikacje ujęte w opracowaniu zostały wyselekcjonowane w celu przedstawienia tematyki rozwoju handlu internetowego oraz oceny zmian w metodach sterowania przepływami. Analiza została opracowana w oparciu o doświadczenie autora oraz dostępne raporty i publikacje. Wyniki: W wyniku przeprowadzonej analizy dokonano oceny poziomu zaawansowania zmian zachodzących w procesach logistycznych na rynku lokalnym i międzynarodowym oraz trendy tych zmian. Wnioski: Z rozwojem handlu internetowego pojawiała się nowa strategia zarządzania łańcuchem logistycznym, obejmująca swym zasięgiem zarówno proces obsługi kanału sprzedaży online jak i offline. Wnioskować zatem można, że środkiem służącym do realizacji celu będą właściwie dostosowane metody sterowania przepływami do zadań których będzie należało: usprawnienie procesów przepływu, poprawa efektywności oraz podporządkowanie procesów logistycznych wymaganiom rynku.

Ten sposób ujęcia problemu pozwala na realizację podstawowego celu artykułu, którym jest wyznaczenie miejsca dla sytuacji niepewności w logistyce na płaszczyźnie efektywności wykorzystania czasu i związku z tym wydajności procesów logistycznych.
The authors of the article on the basis of theoretical considerations on the phenomenon of uncertainty and unpredictability in logistics, based on a review of positions and research approaches, lead to attempts to systematize semantics in the taken problem and indicate the areas of logistics susceptible particularly to uncertainty and unpredictability. Theoretical considerations on the role of uncertainty in the logistics process and the relation between the concepts of uncertainty and unpredictability constitute the basis for a conceptual approach to the possibility of uncertainty’s measurement in the logistics process. The way of recognizing the problem realizes elementary aim of the article, which is to designate space for uncertainty in logistics at the area of efficiency of time and therefore productivity of logistics processes.

W związku z tym w dalszej części artykułu przedstawiono wymagania wobec systemów informatycznych przeznaczonych do wspomagania zarządzania łańcuchami dostaw. Autorka dokonała również ramowej analizy oferty rynkowej takich systemów. W ostatniej części artykułu poruszono problematykę uwzględnienia zasad społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu w procesie podejmowania decyzji w łańcuchach dostaw.
The paper presents the main decision-making problems faced by companies in the management of logistics processes. The object of analysis is extended supply chains composed of many cells. The multitude and complexity of the challenges undertaken in the context of planning and implementation of logistics processes in these supply chains, creates the need for IT support of activities in this area. Consequently, the next part of article presents the requirements for IT systems dedicated to support supply chain management. The author has also made an analysis of market offers in this area. In last part of the article, the author describes problems connected with the necessity to consider the principles of corporate social responsibility in decision-making process in supply chains.

The paper discusses the question of the efficiency of eco-logistics on the food market. The aim of the article is to present major problems related to the impact of food production processes, packaging, distribution and transport on the environment. It presents the origins of eco-logistics in relation to the concepts of logistics and reverse logistics. It analyses the characteristics and general assumptions of the efficiency of eco-logistics processes and describes food market as well as its impact on the natural environment. Furthermore it discusses the issue of waste generation and presents business entities operating on the food market in the aspect of their further development. The question of sanitary standards for products of the food sector is analyzed as well as the dynamics of the development of technologies used in the processes of reverse logistics, changing exogenic expectations and systems of values.
Artykuł podejmuje problematykę efektywności eko-logistyki na rynku produktów żywnościowych. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie głównych problemów oddziaływania procesów wytwórczych produktów żywnościowych, opakowań, dystrybucji oraz transportu na środowisko. Przedstawiono w nim genezę eko-logistyki w nawiązaniu do pojęcia logistyka i logistyka zwrotna. Została przedstawiona charakterystyka oraz ogólne założenia efektywności procesów eko-logistycznych, jednocześnie opisano rynek produktów żywnościowych oraz jego wpływ na środowisko naturalne. Ponadto określono w nim problematykę generowania odpadów przez podmioty gospodarcze działające na rynku żywnościowym w aspekcie ich dalszego zagospodarowania. Poruszono, także temat norm sanitarnych dla produktów z sektora gospodarki żywnościowej oraz dynamikę rozwoju technologii wykorzystywanych w procesach logistyki zwrotnej, zmieniających się oczekiwań egzogenicznych i systemów wartości.

Wymierne korzyści prowadzonych badań to wykazanie, na poziomie istotności α = 0,05, że zły obieg informacji, nieterminowość przewozu i złe rozplanowanie tras wymagają natychmiastowej interwencji, wskaźniki struktur pozostałych badanych defektów są akceptowalne.

Integration of production planning and logistics is currently becoming more and more widespread in many companies. The role and tasks of production logistics in a company are dependent on many factors as well as on an appropriate definition of logistics. The development of the concept of the supply chain has resulted in a broader view of logistics. The primary goal of production logistics can be formulated as expansion of the capabilities for the implementation and reliability of deliveries with the lowest logistical and production costs. In such an approach production systems are those in which input quantities are temporally and spatially transformed into products. With logistical supply networks at the input and distribution networks at the output of the system, production and logistics are closely linked. The approach proposed within the framework of Lean enterprises is interesting. It requires first defining a stream of values, then mapping and improving it. The methods appearing in the literature under the name Lean toolbox can be used to improve a company"s productivity indices.

Rodzaj opakowania odgrywa kluczową rolę w kosztach powiązanych z transportowaniem towarów. Właściwy dobór opakowań do wyrobu może zminimalizować ewentualne zagrożenia związane z przewozem tych towarów, zwiększyć sprawność i niezawodność procesów logistycznych, a także umożliwić redukcję kosztów. W pracy przeprowadzona została analiza wybranych wskaźników logistycznych, zarówno kosztowych, jak i jakościowych. W wyniku przeprowadzonej analizy wskazano efektywniejsze rozwiązanie logistyczne. Przeprowadzona analiza potwierdziła, że właściwe dopasowane i wykorzystywanie opakowań przyczynia się do obniżenia kosztów oraz poprawy jakości i bezpieczeństwa przepływów towarów w ramach łańcucha dostaw.
The type of packaging plays a key role in the costs associated with the transport of goods. Proper selection of packaging for the product can minimize the potential risks associated with the transport of these goods, increase the efficiency and reliability of logistics processes, and enable cost reduction. The work involved the analysis of selected logistic indicators, both cost and quality. As a result of the analysis, a more effective logistic solution was indicated. The conducted analysis confirmed that optimally adjusted and used packaging contributes to lowering costs and improving the quality and safety of flows within the supply chain.

The Authors’ research has concentrated on the modelling and parametrization of procurement processes – order/ delivery processes. The methods employed in the research were: modelling approach towards logistics systems and processes as well iGrafx software. The result of the works is the Authors’ own project composed of 10 elements, which allows for conducting a multi-criteria analysis of procurement and transportation processes. This paper describes the simulation of procurement according to economic order quantity method. Business processes today are volatile, complex and with many interdependencies; a tendency to reduce the risk of failure is prevalent. Computer simulation as a tool for analysing and predicting future enables the testing of various solution variants over a short period of time – at no capital investment cost or without taking unnecessary risk. The result of the research has a practical application in both manufacturing and trading companies.

Better processes produce lower costs, higher revenues, motivated employees, and happier customers. Logistics companies operating on very competitive market are continuously seeking opportunities to ensure the process reliability while improving their productivity. Due to increasing process complexity it is necessary to apply a systematic approach to designing, implementation, monitoring and improvement of processes in the organization. Such approach may be realized through Business Process Management (BPM) techniques and tools. An investment in BPM software, coupled with new approaches to project implementation, enables companies to introduce a sustainable business process improvement program. However,  the  implementation  of BPM is  not  easy because of process complexity and multiplication of interaction specific for each organization.    In this paper we propose some teaching frameworks, that can be used during the education process to enhance the practical skills in BPMN and in the application of process management in the field of logistics. Our solution is based on practical cases and BPM worldwide standards. It provides students with the opportunity to use the BPM suites software in complex environment and practice the techniques of modelling and analyzing processes. The presented framework may address many of requirements of learning environments for business process analysts. In the second part of the article we present also the analysis of students’ (attendants’ of BPM classes) opinions about gaining knowledge and skills on BPM. Performed research indicate that young people were keen on business process modeling classes organized in a form of problem-based laboratories and they would like to use learned BPM methods and tools in their future education or work.

The purpose of this article is to analyse logistics outsourcing and assess its influence on the results of contemporary companies on the basis of the selected Polish manufacturing and trading enterprises. The analytical part of the study presents the most important issues associated with logistics outsourcing in the surveyed enterprises and also includes an attempt to assess its influence on the performance of the surveyed companies. The results of empirical research presented in this study come from a more extensive study conducted in 2014 through a direct interview concerning logistics processes of Polish manufacturing and trading enterprises.

The aim of the research literature presented in the article was to identify factors interference in the logistics processes of manufacturing companies. Considerations for defining the contents of the logistics process, disruption and risk management in logistics processes. The article presents a catalog of interference factors in logistic processes production company. Interference Issues in logistics processes with modest yet Polish literature allows you to create substantive framework for further research in favor of such an important issue.

Identyfikacja radiowa (RFID) została szeroko zastosowana we wspieraniu zarządzania logistyką w zakładach produkcyjnych w których zasoby produkcyjne związane z urządzeniami RFID. Są one przekształcane w inteligentne obiekty produkcyjne (z ang. smart manufacturing objects - SMO), które są zdolne do wykrywania, współdziałania i rozumowania w celu stworzenia wszechobecnego środowiska technologicznego. W takim środowisku można gromadzić ogromne ilości danych i wykorzystywać je do wspierania dalszych decyzji, takich jak planowanie i harmonogramowanie logistyki. Poniższy artykuł przedstawia sposób wykorzystania dużych zbiorów danych z wykorzystaniem danych logistycznych z zastosowaniem technologii identyfikacji radiowej (RFID). Po pierwsze, tzw. procesory RFID-Cuboids są wprowadzane w celu utworzenia hurtowni danych, aby dane logistyczne zarządzane za pośrednictwem technologii RFID mogły być wysoce zintegrowane pod względem określonej logiki i operacji. Po drugie, tabele są używane do łączenia danych w celu zwiększenia jakości informacji i zmniejszenia objętości zbioru danych.
The following article shows how to use large data sets using logistic data using radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. First of all, the so-called RFID-Cuboids processors are introduced to create a data warehouse so that logistics data managed via RFID technology can be highly integrated in terms of specific logic and operations. Second, the tables are used to combine r data to increase information quality and reduce the data set volume.

This article presents the issues of quality research and improvement of logistics processes in the area of distribution of one of selected industrial enterprises. The case described concerns the producer of raw chemical materials, who acts as a supplier for industrial customers. The studied company, due to dynamic changes in product demand, very often outsources the distribution of raw materials to external transport companies. This solution results in limited supervision over commissioned processes, which may lead to increased probability of customer dissatisfaction. The article presents the results of the study of the quality of logistic processes implemented or commissioned in the examined enterprise. The assessment was based on the results of the customer satisfaction survey and the results of the analysis of received complaints regarding deliveries. Analysis of the causes of complaints allowed to identify the actions necessary to improve the quality of logistics processes. This article contains, among others, the criteria for the assessment of transport service providers and a set of recommendations to reduce the risks associated with logistics processes of deliveries.

The main aim of this article is to show the analysis of the impact of logistical processes on sustainable business development. It signifies the stable and sustainable economic and social development of the organization taking into account respect for natural resources. The task of managing organizations is not only to realize current financial interests, but above all to ensure that the needs of future generations are catered for at the same level as the present. Undoubtedly, logistic processes, including supply, production and distribution, have a significant impact on the sustainable development of enterprises. It is necessary to undertake actions aimed at increasing the level of innovation in order to reduce the emission of harmful substances into the environment. The purpose of this article is to analyze the impact of process management efficiency.

W przedsiębiorstwach realizowanych jest wiele procesów, które mają umożliwić osiągnięcie zdefiniowanych celów biznesowych. W dużej mierze są to procesy cykliczne, to znaczy takie, które się powtarzają i mają wyznaczony przebieg. Różnią się zazwyczaj szczegółami, takimi jak lokalizacja źródłowa i docelowa, lub miejscem występowania w systemie. Podczas modelowania w programach symulacyjnych różnice te znacznie wpływają na poziom zaawansowania modelu. W trakcie odzwierciedlania procesów w programach brakuje możliwości automatycznego działania – sztucznej inteligencji odpowiadającej za cykliczność. Celem tej pracy jest przedstawienie podejścia do modelowania - tzw. procesu referencyjnego, który pozwala na ułatwienie i skrócenie czasu projektowania procesów logistycznych w modelach symulacyjnych. Przedstawiono rozwiązanie, w którym definiuje się jedynie zasady wyboru tzw. lokalizacji pełniących funkcję buforów, pól odkładczych, a modelowane czynności procesu są generowane automatycznie. Zaproponowano zasadę pozwalającą na modelowanie według reguł losowych, wskazując dalsze kierunki prac badawczych związanych z regułami ilościowymi i czasowymi. W artykule przedstawiono również implementację tego rozwiązania w programie symulacyjnym LogABS.
In enterprises, many processes are implemented to achieve the defined business goals. These are mainly cyclical processes, that is, processes that repeat and have a designated course. They usually differ in details, such as the source and destination, or where they appear in the system. When modeling in simulation programs, these differences significantly affect the advancement of the model. In the process of reflecting processes in programs, there is no possibility of automatic operation – “artificial intelligence” responsible for cyclicality. The aim of this work is to present an approach to modeling – the so-called reference process that allows one to simplify and shorten the design time of logistics processes in simulation models. A solution was proposed in which only the rules for selecting the so-called locations acting as buffers, storage fields, and modeled process activities are generated automatically. The proposed rule allows for modeling according to random rules, indicating further directions for research related to quantitative and time rules. The article also presents the implementation of this solution in the LogABS simulation program.

Opis:

Plastics materials are widely distributed in the XXI century. Their use contributes primarily to reduce the consumption of natural resources. Still a major problem remains the issue of land use and reuse of used waste that is stored in landfills. Still rising consumption of plastics contribute to increasing the amount of waste, and thus the issue of storage and reuse what is the problem of all emerging economies. The highest amount of packaging waste is made of polyethylene, polypropylene, poly (ethylene terephthalate), polystyrene, poly (vinyl chloride) and polycarbonate. The ideal situation would be to spread the appropriate waste management and implement it at every stage in the supply chain - raw material supplier, importer, processor, the company marketing the product in the package so that all the plastic waste was recycled or subjected to recovery.

Opis:

The article presents selected research results regarding the conditions for controlling of logistics processes in manufacturing enterprises. The research goal was to determine the relationship between the occurrence of such controlling and the separation of logistics processes in enterprises. The research issues undertaken determined the choice of research methods, such as literature review and survey research. The implementation of logistics controlling is associated with the isolation of logistics processes, as evidenced by the result of the Chi2 independence test. This means that in process-oriented enterprises there is logistic process controlling. Logistics controlling is a broader concept, covering logistics in functional terms at every level of the institutional criterion, both micrological, metalogistic and macrological.
W artykule zaprezentowano wybrane wyniki badań dotyczące uwarunkowań funkcjonowania controllingu procesów logistycznych w przedsiębiorstwach produkcyjnych. Celem badawczym było ustalenie zależności między występowaniem controllingu logistyki a wyodrębnieniem procesów logistycznych w przedsiębiorstwach. Podjęta problematyka badawcza zdeterminowała wybór metod badawczych takich jak przegląd literatury oraz badania ankietowe. Wdrożenie controllingu logistyki jest powiązane z wyodrębnieniem procesów logistycznych, na co wskazuje wynik przeprowadzonego testu niezależności Chi2. Oznacza to, że w przedsiębiorstwach zorientowanych procesowo występuje controlling procesów logistycznych. Controlling logistyki jest pojęciem szerszym, obejmującym logistykę w ujęciu funkcjonalnym na każdym poziomie kryterium instytucjonalnego, zarówno mikrologistycznym, metalogistycznym i makrologistycznym.

Efektywność procesów logistycznych wymaga ustawicznego monitorowania metod i narzędzi wspierających podejmowanie decyzji na poziomie operacyjnym. Zrealizowane badania dotyczyły zarówno określenia zakresu teoretycznego prowadzonych analiz, jak również przeprowadzenia badań dotyczących zastosowanych narzędzi w praktyce gospodarczej.
The logistics processes efficiency requires continuous monitoring of methods and tools supporting decision-making at the operational level. For each phase of material flow, it is necessary to determine the effective way of implementing the activities. Supply chain logistics is concerned with supply and distribution aspects, which increases the analytical scope of the research. This paper presents the research carried out within the research project of the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing for the identification of methods and tools for scheduling supplies. The research concerned both the definition of the theoretical scope of the analyzes carried out as well as the study of applied tools in business practice.

Companies that operate in the international automotive industry face various cost-related demands, including demands for lower logistics costs. For the purpose of assessing the situation in the field of logistics, a survey was carried out on a sample of Slovenian manufacturing companies that are part of the international supplier chain. The goal of the study is to determine whether the various demands of customers for lower logistics costs have an impact on the business processes of Slovenian companies. The results of the statistical analysis highlight the importance of cooperation between departments within companies when customers demand lower logistics costs and emphasize the importance of introducing innovations in the optimization of these costs. The case study also represents a current reference for other sectors of the economy on the topic of logistics process management and on strengthening relations in international supply chains.

W artykule znalazły się refleksje dotyczące zasadności monitorowania procesów logistycznych szpitala w procesie doskonalenia jakości usług medycznych. Wśród przykładowych kryteriów oceny jakości świadczenia usług medycznych wymieniono następujące: zawodowe (lekarzy, pielęgniarek), dostępności usług medycznych, obsługi, komunikatywności oraz prestiżu placówki medycznej. Autorka podaje przykłady wskaźników, które mogą być wykorzystane w procesie monitorowania jakości szpitalnych procesów logistycznych. Efektem realizowanych badań naukowych jest prezentacja przykładowej karty kontrolnej x – R dla średniego procentowego wskaźnika wykorzystania łóżek szpitalnych w Specjalistycznym Szpitalu X (w latach 2008-2013).
Reflections on the appropriateness of hospital logistics process monitoring in the process of improving the quality of medical services are located in this article. Among the examples of criteria for assessing the quality of the provision of medical services listed: professional criteria (doctors, nurses), availability of health care services, communication skills, and the prestige of a medical facility. Author gives examples of indicators that can be used to monitor the quality of hospital logistics processes. Result of carried out research is the presentation of x - R sample chart for the average percentage of hospital beds utilization rate in the Specialist Hospital X (2008-2013).

The issue of waste management, and in particular industrial waste, represents a significant challenge for today's economy. Given the priorities of sustainable development taking into account the organization of the processes related to the management of industrial waste flows must take into account mainly logistics processes. In this context, they are an integral part of the proper functioning of waste management. This paper presents a model approach to the interpretation of logistics processes associated with the correct implementation of the industrial waste management.

The paper’s aim is to present the specificity of defective products management in production companies in the furniture industry with the usage of reverse logistics processes. The goal of the article is to highlight the growing importance of development and necessity of introduction the defective products management into production companies’ strategy and implementation of the reverse logistics processes in this regard into their practice. The theoretical part introduces the defective products management. It defines the defective products in manufacturing enterprises and presents the methods of their management when occurred. Also, the reverse logistics concept is presented, as its processes state the solution in this regard. The research part is based on the research survey made in 2019 year in the form of a questionnaire. It was addressed to the Polish manufacturing companies in sectors with high potential for the creation of defective products, however for the purpose of this paper only a part covering the furniture industry respondents was chosen. The research sample has been determined based on representative method and calculated as a representative sample, so that the results of the study reflect the situation of all Polish furniture production companies. The research part also covers the development and verification of model of defective products management with reverse logistics processes in production companies. The conclusion highlights the importance of reverse logistics processes as the support for the defective products management.
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie specyfiki zarządzania produktami niepełnowartościowymi w firmach produkcyjnych z branży meblarskiej z wykorzystaniem procesów logistki zwrotnej. Jest nim również podkreślenie rosnącego znaczenia rozwoju i konieczności wprowadzania zarządzania produktami niepełnowartościowymi do strategii firm produkcyjnych i wdrażania procesów logistyki zwrotnej w tym zakresie do ich praktyki gospodarczej. Część teoretyczna przedstawia zarządzanie produktami niepełnowartościowymi. Definiuje je w przedsiębiorstwach produkcyjnych i przedstawia metody zarządzania nimi. Przedstawiono tu także koncepcję logistyki zwrotnej, ponieważ jej procesy stanowią istotne rozwiązanie w tym zakresie. Część badawcza oparta jest na analizie efektów badania ankietowego przeprowadzonego w 2019 roku. Badanie to było adresowane do polskich firm produkcyjnych operujących w sektorach o wysokim potencjale powstawania produktów niepełnowartościowych, jednak na potrzeby tego artykułu wybrano tylko część obejmującą respondentów z branży meblarskiej. Próba badawcza została ustalona na podstawie metody reprezentatywnej i obliczona jako próba reprezentatywna, tak aby wyniki badania odzwierciedlały sytuację wszystkich polskich firm produkujących meble. Część badawcza obejmuje również weryfikację modelu zarządzania produktami niepełnowartościowymi z wykorzystaniem procesów logistyki zwrotnej w firmach produkcyjnych. W konkluzji podkreślono znaczenie procesów logistyki zwrotnej jako wsparcia dla zarządzania produktami niepełnowartościowymi.

The results were used to make organizational improvements in Mercedes - Benz Danuta i Ryszard Czach Sp. z o.o. They may be inspired similar actions in other companies.

Opis:

W celu zidentyfikowania miejsc usprawniających procesy w systemie produkcyjnym zarówno logistyka jak i lean manufacturing posługują się narzędziami umożliwiającymi badanie struktury procesu. Dla potrzeb badania struktur procesów i powiązań między nimi w artykule przedstawiono metodę mapowania strumienia wartości. Istotą metody jest identyfikacja operacji tworzących strukturę procesu, a w szczególności tych operacji, które sterują tworzeniem wartości dodanej. Doskonalenie procesów realizowanych w ramach systemu produkcyjnego rozpoczyna się od analizy strumienia wartości, który obejmuje przepływy materiałowe i informacyjne. Z kolei identyfikacja strumienia wartości odbywa się przy wykorzystaniu mapowania strumienia wartości. Mapowanie pozwala na redukcję liczby braków i redukcję kosztów w procesie produkcyjnym oraz dostarcza informacji o zakłóceniach powstających na skutek nieciągłości w przepływie informacji i materiałów pomiędzy stanowiskami. W badanym przedsiębiorstwie określone zostały uwarunkowania niesprawności organizacji zdiagnozowanych procesów logistycznych oraz zaproponowano rozwiązania doskonalące te procesy tak, aby wprowadzone zmiany o charakterze innowacyjnym pozwoliły firmie zmniejszyć czas realizacji zlecenia, minimalizować straty, obniżyć koszty produkcji oraz podnieść jakość obsługi klienta.
For the identification of places that improve processes in the production system, both logistics and lean manufacturing use tools to research the structure of the process. This paper presents a method of value stream mapping for examination of process structures and the relationships between them. The essence of the method is to identify the operations in the process structure, especially those operations that create added value. Improving processes performed in the framework of the production system begins with an analysis of the value stream, which includes material and information flows. The identification of the value stream is done using value stream mapping. Mapping allows for reduce the number of defects and reduce costs in the production process and provides information about disruptions resulting from the discontinuity in the flow of information and materials between work positions. In the analyzed company were defined determinants of failures in logistics processes organization and proposed solutions to improve processes so that the changes of innovative character allowed the company to reduce the time of order execution, to minimize losses, reduce production costs and improve customer service.

Głównym problemem podmiotów gospodarczych jest utrzymanie ich konkurencyjności w stosunku do innych uczestników rynku. Koncepcja zarządzania logistycznego coraz częściej uważana jest za narzędzie efektywności prowadzonych działań i zasadniczą strategię podmiotu gospodarczego. Pomiar zdarzeń logistycznych może być prowadzony w wymiarze krótko- lub długookresowym. Wstępnej oceny efektywności procesów logistycznych dokonuje się już na podstawie prowadzonej w przedsiębiorstwie rachunkowości finansowo-księgowej. Nasilająca się konkurencja stawia przed przedsiębiorstwami ciągle nowe wymagania zarówno w zakresie nowych produktów, ich jakości, a również kosztów i cen. To sprawia, że zarządzanie staje się coraz bardziej utrudnione. Rośnie zapotrzebowanie na informację ekonomiczną dotyczącą zarówno zachodzących zmian w otoczeniu, jak i procesów realizowanych wewnątrz przedsiębiorstw. Znaczącą część tej informacji uzyskuje się w wyniku analizy osiąganych przez przedsiębiorstwo efektów, a także analizy posiadanych przez nie zasobów oraz ich wykorzystania. Mierniki i wskaźniki traktowane są jako zestaw narzędzi analitycznych do pomiaru efektywności procesów logistycznych. Nie ma możliwości prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej bez pomiaru jej efektywności. Analiza produktywności biznesowej ma odpowiedzieć, czy uzyskujemy z tej inicjatywy korzyści (zysk) oraz wskazać kierunki ich maksymalizowania, np. przez obniżanie kosztów. Pozytywne mierniki oceny, napędzają i mobilizują przedsiębiorstwo do jeszcze większej i wydajniejszej skali działania. Natomiast mierniki odbiegające od założonych wskaźników rozwoju mogą i powinny wpływać na zawieszenie przedsięwzięcia gospodarczego lub szukanie sposobów zwiększenia wydajności prowadzonych działań. Teoretyczne podstawy zagadnień związanych z zarządzaniem logistycznym, uwierzytelnione wynikami badań empirycznych dowodzą, że procesy logistyczne sprzyjają wzrostowi efektywności działań operacyjnych. Pytanie kierowane ze strony przedsiębiorców, menadżerów i specjalistów ds. logistyki brzmi: „jakie metody, wskaźniki należy zastosować, ażeby w najbardziej rzetelny sposób można było zbadać tą efektywność. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie sposobów pomiaru efektywności działalności logistycznej podmiotu gospodarczego.
The main problem of business entities is maintaining their competitiveness in relation to other market participants. The concept of logistics management is increasingly considered to be a tool for the efficiency of operations and the basic strategy of a business entity. The measurement of logistic events can be carried out in the short or long term. The initial assessment of the effectiveness of logistics processes is already made on the basis of financial and accounting accounting maintained in the enterprise. Increasing competition sets new requirements for enterprises in terms of new products, their quality as well as costs and prices. This makes management more and more difficult. There is a growing demand for economic information regarding both changes in the environment and processes implemented within enterprises. A significant part of this information is obtained as a result of the analysis of the effects achieved by the enterprise as well as the analysis of its resources and their use. Meters and indicators are treated as a set of analytical tools for measuring the effectiveness of logistics processes. You cannot run a business without measuring its effectiveness. The analysis of business productivity is to answer whether we obtain benefits (profit) from this initiative and indicate the directions of their maximization, e.g. by reducing costs. Positive evaluation measures drive and mobilize the enterprise to an even larger and more efficient scale of operations. On the other hand, measures that deviate from the assumed development indicators can and should affect the suspension of an economic venture or seeking ways to increase the efficiency of operations. The theoretical foundations of issues related to logistics management, authenticated by the results of empirical research prove that logistics processes are conducive to increasing the efficiency of operational activities. The question directed by entrepreneurs, managers and logistics specialists is – „What methods, indicators should be used so that this effectiveness can be tested in the most reliable way? The purpose of the article is to present ways of measuring the effectiveness of the logistic activity of an economic entity.

The article discusses issues regarding the use of techniques and tools in the field of artificial intelligence to manage logistics in the enterprise. The operation of the supply chain was described based on the Internet of Things and the support of logistics processes through their computerization, followed by automation and robotization was described. In summary, the possibilities, limitations and challenges posed by the use of modern IT techniques in logistics are presented.

Tematem artykułu jest dobór zmiennych niezależnych w modelowaniu procesów logistycznych metodą analizy grafów. Celem głównym jest teoretyczna i empiryczna analiza możliwości stosowania metody analizy grafów do doboru zmiennych niezależnych w modelach ekonometrycznych. Problem badawczy natomiast obejmował swym zasięgiem także poszukiwanie rozwiązań dotyczących uzyskania właściwych kryteriów wyboru zmiennych niezależnych spośród zmiennych kandydujących, przy wykorzystaniu właściwie stawianych i weryfikowanych hipotez zerowych. Niewątpliwym osiągnięciem zastosowania metody analizy grafów jest możliwość uzyskania macierzy współczynników korelacji liniowej Pearsona, które obrazują powiązania między poszczególnymi zmiennymi oraz pozwalają na ich podstawie wyeliminować te zmienne kandydujące, które nie są statystycznie istotne dla badanego procesu logistycznego.
The theme of the article is the selection of independent variables in the modelling of logistic processes using the analysis graphs method. The main objective is theoretical and empirical analysis of the applicability of the analysis graphs method for the selection of independent variables in econometric models. The research included seeking solutions for obtaining the appropriate criteria for the selection of independent variables of the variables candidate, using properly posed and verified hypotheses. The unquestionable achievement of the analysis graphs method is rendering it possible to obtain a matrix of correlation Pearson coefficients which illustrate the relationships between the candidate variables and allow these variables to be eliminated, which is not statistically significant for the test of the logistics process.

The aim of this research paper is to present an approach of assessment the priorities for improvements of each supply logistics sub-process in the organization. The ways of comparison of targets sub-processes and their corresponding real sub-processes are explained. Algorithm for calculating of priority of supply logistics sub-process improvement is reviewed. It includes calculating of vector that describes the necessity of sub-process improvement in each measurement as well as determining of aggregate coefficient that represents the need for each supply logistics sub-process optimization in all its measurements.

W niniejszej pracy zdefiniowano pojęcie logistyki produkcji oraz scharakteryzowano procesy przygotowania produkcji w warunkach mało i wielkoseryjnej produkcji. Ponadto określono tendencje rozwoju metod projektowania przepływów zasobów wewnątrz przedsiębiorstwa. Przedstawiono również współczesne metody modelowania i symulacji procesów logistycznych, a także podano przykłady projektowania działań logistycznych na drodze wizualizacji przebiegów procesów produkcyjnych. Określono również możliwości zastosowania podanego toku postępowania w praktyce produkcyjnej.
In this work the concept of production logistics was defined. There were characterized production preparation processes in conditions of small-lot and mass production as well as development trends in the design methods of resources flow within the enterprise. The work presents modern methods of modelling and simulation of logistic processes. There were given examples of logistics activities design on the way of visualization of production processes runs. The possibility of applying the specified course of the proceedings in the production practice was given.

The purpose of this article is to show decision-making problems in the process of shaping a logistics system of contemporary enterprises of the sector of logistics services. The study describes the object of economic activity of enterprises of the sector of logistics services. A logistics system of enterprises providing logistics services has been presented. The author presented results of own research concerning selected aspects of cooperation of the surveyed enterprises with enterprises of the sector of logistics services and management of logistics processes in service enterprises. The process of creating a competitive advantage of contemporary enterprises of the logistics service sector has been described.

The publication describes the place and role of supply logistics in a logistics system. The definition of logistics was presented both in terms of the system and the process. The goals and tasks of supply logistics were discussed, assigning specific activities to tasks. The purchasing process was characterized by outlining the scope of operation of the procurement services. The management of the purchasing process was analyzed by describing the purchasing activities included in its composition. The inventory was defined and the issue of inventory management was introduced through the presentation of the basic methods used in inventory management.

In the light of research conducted both in Poland and scientific centres abroad, it should be noted that one of the concepts that are becoming more and more popular in the state security and defence sector is the concept of business continuity management. With regard to logistical processes, it is used in a special way to ensure their smooth running through the proper preparation of logistical entities to continue operations at a previously accepted by the client level in the event of disturbances. In the light of the above, the aim of the article is to identify the possibility of common use of the assumptions of the concept of business continuity management in the process of managing logistical processes within the state security and defence system.
W świetle badań prowadzonych zarówno w Polsce jak i w zagranicznych ośrodkach naukowych, należy zauważyć, że jedną z koncepcji cieszących się coraz większą popularnością w sektorze bezpieczeństwa i obronności państwa jest koncepcja zarządzania ciągłością działania. W odniesieniu do procesów logistycznych jest ona wykorzystywana w sposób szczególny do zapewnienia ich niezakłóconego przebiegu poprzez właściwe przygotowanie podmiotów logistycznych do kontynuowania działań na akceptowalnym przez klienta, wcześniej określonym poziomie w sytuacji wystąpienia zakłóceń. W świetle powyższego za cel artykułu przyjęto identyfikację możliwości powszechnego wykorzystania założeń koncepcji zarządzania ciągłością działania w procesie zarządzania procesami logistycznymi w systemie bezpieczeństwa i obronności państwa.

Opis:

The article presents an approach to assessing the reliability of logistics processes implemented in supply chains in terms of time losses resulting from the selection of a variant of material flows in the supply chain. In order to define this indicator, a mathematical model of the supply chain has been developed, i.e. the parameters of the research problem, the decision variables, the constraints and the evaluation criteria. The method of evaluating the reliability of the system is presented in diagram form. The algorithm was verified based on experimental data. In order to evaluate the reliability of the logistic processes for the sample supply chain, a simulation model was developed that determines the time losses in the points and linear elements of the examined chain. Time losses are dictated by traffic delays resulting from traffic congestion on particular sections of the route and road junctions and delays in point elements in the supply chain.
W artykule przedstawiono podejście do oceny niezawodności procesów logistycznych realizowanych w łańcuchach dostaw w aspekcie strat czasu wynikających z wyboru wariantu realizacji przepływów materiałowych w łańcuchu dostaw. Na potrzeby tych badań opracowano model matematyczny łańcucha dostaw, tj. określono parametry problemu badawczego, zmienne decyzyjne, ograniczenia oraz kryteria oceny. Sposób oceny niezawodności systemu został przedstawiony w postaci schematu. Algorytm został zweryfikowany na podstawie danych eksperymentalnych. W celu oceny niezawodności procesów logistycznych dla przykładowego łańcucha dostaw opracowano model symulacyjny wyznaczający straty czasu w elementach punktowych i liniowych badanego łańcucha. Straty czasu podyktowane są opóźnieniami w ruchu drogowym wynikającymi z kongestii ruchu na poszczególnych odcinkach trasy i węzłach drogowych oraz opóźnieniami w elementach punktowych łańcucha dostaw.

The paper begins with a description about the services of electronic freight and ware-house exchanges currently available on the Internet, then, continues to point out their shortcomings. Then it presents the e-commerce toolbar (catalogue, tenders, auctions), which gives the framework of choosing. It empha-sises the application of a self-developed multi-criteria decision supporting algorithm (based on AHP – Analytic Hierarchy Process -) in the assessment of offers received for tender. The paper describes one optimum search problem emerging in electronic freight and warehouse exchanges, then presents, in details, the ant colony algorithm (BA_ACO) for its solution (to support the complex logistics processes). The demonstration of the modules and operational process of this system is done with the help of self-developed VBA-based (Visual Basic Application) algorithms.

W związku z koniecznością koncentracji szczególnej uwagi na kliencie w handlu elektronicznym, zaproponowany został zestaw wskaźników umożliwiających monitorowanie i ocenę efektywności realizowanych procesów logistycznych. Zwrócono również uwagę na konieczność zastosowania zaawansowanych rozwiązań informatycznych dla usprawnienia obsługi logistycznej e-commerce.
This article defines the main challenges in planning and organization of logistics processes in the sector of e-commerce. Also, was presented the most significant differences between logistics of e-commerce and logistics in traditional trade. In view of need to focus particular attention on customer in e-commerce, it has been proposed a set of indicators to monitor and evaluate effectiveness of logistics processes. Attention was also drawn to the need for advanced IT solutions for streamlining of logistics service e-commerce.

During continuous market competition, focusing on the customer service level, lead times and supply flexibility is very important to analyze the efficiency of logistics processes. Transport processes are a key process that provides physical material flow through the supply chain. However, a very important aspect of this analysis is prices evaluation of transport resources using in the logistics operator. The article presents the prices problem of transport services in the logistics operator.

W artykule przedstawiono heurystyczne metody optymalizacji statycznej wykorzystujące naturalne zasady ruchu roju cząstek – ptaków, mrówek, pszczół, świetlików, nietoperzy, kryli, kukułek, mątw, karaluchów i zapylania kwiatów. Dla każdej z metod opisano cechę inteligencji roju, przedstawiono postać funkcji celu oraz podano zasadę działania algorytmu optymalizacji.

Opis:

The paper presents selected financial benefits for organizations resulting from the use of outsourcing in logistics services. The research conducted in the organization indicated that conducting transport services on their own requires significant cash outlays related to: the employment of employees, purchase and maintenance of means of transport, insurance, purchase of fuel, etc. Estimated costs were compared with expenses incurred by the hypermarket as a result of employing an outsourcing company. The results of the research have confirmed the importance of using outsourcing in the analyzed organization. The aim of the study is to compare the costs that the organization would incur without excluding transportation services and the outsourcing costs of the aforementioned services, the profit of a company can have from using outsourced services is estimated in the paper.

Opis:

Current model of organization of supply chains results in inefficient use of transport resources, high transport costs, increasing congestions and CO2 emission. This effect has been demonstrated by research conducted by the authors as well as by the European Environmental Agency. This situation can be change by development of alternative business model for collaboration in organisation of the transport processes within the supply chains. The aim of this paper is to present practical implementation of the T-Scale platform that enables collaboration between independent transport users and transport service providers. Moreover, an overview of existing communication platform with its major functionalities are presented. The work is summarized by the major benefits of collaboration achieved by the group of companies operating in the FMCG sector in Poland.
Obecne modele organizacji łańcuchów dostaw wykorzystują zasoby transportowe w sposób nieefektywny, co skutkuje wysokimi kosztami transportu, rosnącą kongestią oraz wzrostem emisji CO2. Potwierdzają to badania prowadzone przez autorów, a także przez Europejską Agencję Ochrony Środowiska. Opisane w pracy problem mogą być wyeliminowane poprzez wprowadzenie w firmach nowego modelu wspólnej organizacji procesów transportowych w łańcuchach dostaw. Celem tej pracy jest przedstawienie wyników z praktycznego wdrożenia platformy T-Scale, która umożliwia współpracę niezależnych użytkowników transportu i dostawców usług transportowych w oparciu innowacyjny model biznesowy. Dodatkowo w pracy zaprezentowano przegląd istniejących platform komunikacyjnych wraz z ich głównymi funkcjonalnościami. Prace podsumowują wyniki wdrożenia rozwiązania w grupie firm z branży FMCG działającej w Polsce.

Każda z analizowanych sytuacji została wzbogacona o teoretyczny opis problemu w celu zminimalizowania ryzyka zrozumienia niniejszej publikacji jako zbioru oderwanych od siebie zagadnień. Całość została napisana w oparciu o doświadczenie autora oraz polskojęzyczną literaturę.
The purpose of this article is to show the possibility of using the Solver add-in to optimize many logistics processes. Two different cases are presented: resource distribution and minimization of storage costs, along with the resulting optimization of inventories. Each of the analysed situations is enriched with a theoretical description of the problem in order to minimize the risk of understanding this article as a set of disconnected issues. The article draws on the author’s experience and Polish-language literature.

Background: The efficiency of logistics processes is a very important decision-making aspect, both from financial point of view as well as in terms of processes at the operational level. Taking into account both the specific features of a cold supply chain as well as conditions of the comprehensive analysis of the efficiency of logistics processes, the significant aspect is the elaboration of the concept, which will allow to monitor and estimate realized processes with the possibility to obtain date in real time. The aim of this paper is to present the concept of monitoring of processes performed in a cold supply chain. Methods: The results of researches conducted in Polish companies in the first half of 2016 year as well as the literature review show the unsatisfied level of the use of the analysis of efficiency of logistics processes. These results were used to select conditions influencing the complexity of the analysis of efficiency of logistics processes. The researches were conducted in 152 logistics companies located in Wielkopolska voivodship. Results: The business product BluTrack of the Blulog company is the result of the elaborated concept. Various variants of the implementation of this tool in practice served as the methodology of the verification of the complexity of the implementation of this concept in monitoring and management of the cold supply chain. Conclusions: The analysis of efficiency of logistics processes is still not unambiguously defined despite many scientific studies. It causes problems in the business practice. The uniqueness of the cold supply chain introduces additional variables and criteria of estimation of efficiency of logistics processes. The presented study put the main focus on the use of mobile technologies for efficient monitoring and evaluation of efficiency of logistics processes in the cold supply chain. The result of the verification of the presented concept was the preparation of the tool, having the desired functionalities for the business practice.
Wstęp: Efektywność procesów logistycznych jest bardzo ważnym aspektem decyzyjnym nie tylko w ujęciu finansowym, ale również w ujęciu procesowym na poziomie operacyjnym. Uwzględniając zarówno specyfikę cold supply chain, jak również uwarunkowania kompleksowej analizy efektywności procesów logistycznych, niezmiernie istotnym aspektem jest opracowanie koncepcji umożliwiającej monitorowanie i ocenę realizowanych procesów z możliwością pozyskiwania danych w czasie rzeczywistym. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie koncepcji monitorowania procesów realizowanych w cold supply chain. Metody: Wyniki badań w polskich przedsiębiorstwach przeprowadzonych w I półroczu 2016 roku oraz badań literaturowych, świadczą o niezadowalającym stopniu wykorzystania analiz efektywności procesów logistycznych. Na ich podstawie dokonano wyboru i zestawienia czynników wpływających na kompleksowość analizy efektywności procesów logistycznych. Badania w 152 przedsiębiorstwach logistycznych z województwa wielkopolskiego. Wyniki: Wynikiem opracowanej koncepcji jest produkt biznesowy BluTrack firmy Blulog. Poszczególne warianty zastosowania tego narzędzia w praktyce gospodarczej posłużyło jako metodologia weryfikacji kompleksowości zastosowania niniejszej koncepcji w monitorowaniu i zarządzaniu łańcuchem zimna. Wnioski: Analiza efektywności procesów logistycznych pomimo licznych odniesień literaturowych, wciąż jest niejednoznacznie zdefiniowana. Utrudnia to jej wykorzystanie w praktyce gospodarczej przedsiębiorstw. Specyfika łańcucha zimna wprowadza dodatkowe zmienne i kryteria oceny efektywności procesów logistycznych. W niniejszym artykule skoncentrowano się na prezentacji koncepcji wykorzystania technologii mobilnych w celu skutecznego monitorowania i oceny efektywności procesów logistycznych w łańcuchu zimna. Weryfikacja przedstawionej koncepcji skutkowała opracowaniem narzędzia, realizującego założone funkcjonalności w praktyce biznesowe

In current market conditions, companies are forced to look for solutions to improve the functioning of their internal processes. The aims of the publication is to investigate the influence it exerts on implementation of standardized quality management system for the improvement of selected logistics processes in a large manufacturing company. The research tool was a questionnaire addressed to the management representative for integrated quality management system. In addition, the analysis of system documentation has been made and conducted direct interviews with employees of the company. Based on study it was found that correct implementation and improvement of the quality management system provides a significant support for logistics processes, affects the development of higher standards and strengthen relationships with suppliers.

W toku identyfikacji starano się wskazać na istotne nowe wyzwania pod adresem współczesnej praktyki przedsiębiorstw oraz rzeczywiste i potencjalne korzyści dla klientów i przedsiębiorstwa, związane z wdrażaniem wspomnianych orientacji i wymiarów logistyki.
The article attempts to define and identify the basic dimensions of the contemporary logistics, perceived as the properties constituting and determining its nature and structure, in the context of development and integration in the scale of both the enterprise and the market. In particular, the following key consecutive dimensions of logistics were presented and identified: managerial, systemic, process, market, performance and organizational. These dimensions together make up the nature and qualities of logistics as an integrated concept. In the identification process, there was an attempt to identify significant new challenges regarding the contemporary practice of enterprises as well as real and potential benefits for customers and enterprises, related to the implementation of these orientations and dimensions of logistics.

Ports have been especially challenged during the COVID - 19 pandemic. The port enterprises, which had dynamically introduced innovative solutions, have maintained their position on the market. This means that innovation is the only way to maintain a high position in the international economy. The aim of the study is to present a review of port technologies, which is based on literature. Temat artykułu dotyczy procesów logistycznych w przedsiębiorstwach przemysłu obronnego w ramach zintegrowanego systemu zarządzania. Mechanizm funkcjonowania organizacji w obszarze przemysłu obronnego odniesiono m.in. do działalności logistycznej jako ważnego obszaru zintegrowanego systemu zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem. Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja i analiza wybranych procesów logistycznych w odniesieniu do ogólnego systemu procesowego przedsiębiorstwa oraz propozycja ich doskonalenia. Wprowadzeniem do problemu jest właściwe lokowanie logistyki z jej procesami, działaniami, technologią i programami w odniesieniu do polityki i celów przedsiębiorstwa w obszarze wymagań jakościowych i środowiskowych. W tym względzie możemy przyjąć założenie, iż w poprawnie zbudowanym zintegrowanym systemie zarządzania procesy logistyczne mają swoje zasadnicze i należne im miejsce. Obiektami badawczymi były firmy, które posiadają wdrożone zintegrowane systemy zarządzania jakością i środowiskiem. Obserwacja i analiza ich działalności została przeprowadzona na podstawie badań audytowych oraz oceny rocznych przeglądów i raportów. Wnioski końcowe uwzględniają specyfikę i charakter działalności logistycznej przedsiębiorstw w badanym obszarze. Poruszane zagadnienia mogą stanowić podstawę do dalszych badań w tym obszarze, istotnych z punktu widzenia wpływu logistyki na jakość wyrobu z zachowaniem ochrony środowiska naturalnego.
The article looks at logistics processes in the integrated management system of companies in the defence industry, and at how they function. This article aims to identify and analyse logistics processes in relation to the overall process system and how to assess them. The introduction to the problem is the proper placement of logistics with its processes, operations, technology, and programs in relation to the policies and objectives of the companies in the area of quality and environmental requirements. Companies that have implemented integrated quality and environmental management were used for research. Observation and analysis of their business was conducted on the basis of audit and evaluation of annual reviews and reports. The final conclusions take into account the specificity and nature of logistics enterprises in the study area. Topics covered may form the basis for further research in this area, significant from the point of view of the impact of logistics on the quality of the product while maintaining environmental protection.

The article presents the issues covering the transformation of logistics within the currently developed concept of Industry 4.0. In this approach, a research problem arises which determines which parameters and characteristics of logistic processes are most important from the point of view of the idea of Industry 4.0. In addition, mutual relationships between these parameters should be established. In the article, multi-criteria analysis was used to assess these characteristics. The article can be useful for people interested in modern solutions in the production and logistics industry.

Rapid changes in technologies and digitalization challenges caused by Industry 4.0 with the integration of the AI, machine learning algorithms, internet of things’ technologies, introduction of maritime autonomous surface ships and the development of digital shipping and logistics processes require proper education and training of specialists working in maritime industry to ensure safety and security of people, oceans, goods and environment. The shipping and logistic processes and operations, including the decision-making processes, on the global scale and on the scale of whole-organisation ecosystems become more dependent on the manipulation of data from different unstructured open sources and private data sets, increased amount of data stream from sensorial systems. The specialists working with automated systems need competences to use and interpret special data, engineering and analysis algorithms, and skills in using modelling tools of optimised solutions in shipping and logistics. Educational institutions have to be ready to present effective solutions to educate quickly adaptable specialists able to meet volatile labour market needs able to meet digitalization challenges. The case study of the Lithuanian Maritime Academy (LMA) presented in the paper is based on the use of an integrative approach and work integrated learning with the aim of enabling the educational environment to develop proper competencies of the specialists of shipping and logistics information systems.

W artykule omówiona została obecna sytuacja rynkowa sektora usług transportowych w Polsce, a także określono aktualną pozycję przedsiębiorstw, wykonujących usługi w obrębie rynku TSL. Do badania wykorzystano prężnie działające przedsiębiorstwo świadczące usługi w zakresie TSL (Transport Spedycja Logistyka) na rynku polskim jak i międzynarodowym.
The article discussed the current market situation transport sector in Poland, and also set the current position of the companies providing services within the TSL market. In addition, also it presented the changes that have been made within the transport and infrastructure after the Polish accession to the European Union. The main purpose was to discuss ways to manage logistics processes in transport enterprises on the example of the enterprise in the transport sector. The study used thriving company providing services in the field of TSL (Transport Forwarding Logistics) on the Polish market and internationally.

The problem presented in this paper concerns the impact of e-commerce on transport costs, including external transport costs, compared with traditional shopping. E-commerce is a phenomenon of the modern economy that can significantly impact both the efficiency of the distribution of goods and on external transport costs. Although such a distribution system can increase the costs of freight transport to final consumers, it can also reduce traffic in cities and thus total external transport costs. In order to asses this impact, the author developed a simulation model and used it to conduct analyses. The analyses were based on available statistical data, data from the literature, and from the transportation market in Poland.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest problematyka gospodarowania odpadami i związana z tym tematem logistyka odpadów. Przedstawione zostały główne źródła powstawania odpadów. Zdefiniowany i omówiony został także system logistyczny odpadów, gdzie podkreślono jego znaczny wpływ na gospodarowanie odpadami. Istotnym punktem artykułu są przykłady usprawnień logistyki odpadów, dzięki którym można zaoszczędzić m.in. czas i pieniądze. Sformułowano konkluzję, iż przemyślane i skuteczne zastosowanie systemu logistycznego odpadów oraz wprowadzanie do niego możliwych usprawnień ma na celu usystematyzowanie pewnych określonych działań, w celu jak najszybszego i najskuteczniejszego przetworzenia odpadów
The article deals with the problem of waste management and related to this, waste logistics. The main sources of waste generation are presented. The waste logistics system is also defined and discussed, where its significant impact on waste management was emphasized. What is an important part of the article are examples of waste logistics improvements, thanks to which time and money can be saved. The main sources of waste generation are also presented here. The conclusion is that the deliberate and effective application of the waste logistic system and the introduction of possible improvements to it are aimed at systematizing certain specific activities in order to process waste as quickly and efficiently as possible
В центре внимания настоящей статьи находится проблема управления отходами и непосредственно связанная с ней логистика отходов. Автор перечисляет основные источники образования отходов. Определена и рассмотрена система логистики отходов, подчеркнуто ее влияние на управление отходами. Важной составляющей статьи являются конкретные примеры совершенствования логистических процессов, благодаря которым достигается экономия денежных средств и времени. Автор статьи приходит к выводу, что продуманная и эффективная система логистики отходов, атакжевнесение в нее возможных изменений призваны систематизировать описываемую деятельность и способствуют более быстрому и продуктивному управлению переработкой отходов.
Il presente articolo riguarda la gestione dei rifiuti e la logistica dei rifiuti relativa a questo argomento. Sono state presentate le fonti principali dei rifiuti. Anche il sistema logistico dei rifiuti è stato definito e discusso, in cui è stato sottolineato il suo impatto significativo sulla gestione dei rifiuti. Il punto importante dell’articolo sono gli esempi di miglioramenti nella logistica dei rifiuti, grazie ai quali è possibile risparmiare, tra l’altro tempo e soldi. Sono arrivati alla conclusione che l’applicazione concreta ed efficace del sistema logistico dei rifiuti e l’introduzione di possibili miglioramenti ha lo scopo di sistematizzare determinate attività specifiche al fine di trattare i rifiuti nel modo più rapido possibile ed efficiente.

Opis:

Planowanie procesów logistycznych w elektrociepłowni jest dużym wyzwaniem stojącym przed przedsiębiorstwami energetycznymi, które podlegają tym samym prawom gospodarki magazynowej, co przedsiębiorstwa produkcyjne czy handlowe. Dodatkowym elementem, który ma wpływ na te procesy jest odpowiedni poziom zapasów, który ma gwarantować odpowiedni poziom bezpieczeństwa energetycznego. W artykule omówiono jeden z wybranych procesów logistycznych, który ma decydujący wpływ na zapewnienie ciągłości dostaw ciepła i energii elektrycznej odbiorcom. Przedstawiono dwa modele procesu zaopatrzenia elektrociepłowni w węgiel opałowy. Pierwszy model (MBD) uwzględnia rzeczywiste procedury stosowane w wybranej elektrociepłowni podczas procesu zaopatrzenia w węgiel opałowy. Opisuje on sposób planowania zużycia opału, a także zasady planowania i zamawiania opału na podstawie dokumentów uzyskanych z elektrociepłowni. Drugi przedstawiony model to model, który został wykorzystany w procesach symulacyjnych pozwalających zoptymalizować procedury zaopatrzenia elektrociepłowni w węgiel.
Planning of the logistics processes in CH plants is a big challenge, because energy companies are subject to the same laws of warehouse management, as manufacturing companies or commercial businesses. An additional element which has an impact on the level of stocks in companies of this industry is energy security, which is necessary to ensure the continuity of supplying heat and electricity for demand from customers. Paper presents two models of the process coal fuel supplying in power plants. The first model (MBD) reflects real procedures used in a selected power plant during the supply of coal fuel. It describes how to plan the consumption of fuel, as well as the rules and ordering of fuel, which is based on the documents obtained from CHP plants. The second presented model is a model that has been used in a simulation whose aim is to optimize procedures of supplying power plants in coal.

Opis:

The choice of the operator involves taking risks, especially when changing the way logistics is handled (e.g. from your own warehouse and distribution network to external – outsourced). The aim of the article is to present the most important factors that directly and indirectly influence purchasing decisions made by customers of logistics operators. In order to correctly determine the parameters of the selection of a logistics service provider in terms of quality, it is necessary to define quality requirements criteria that allow to meet specific KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure the satisfaction of the final recipient of the goods. The main goal of the article is to answer the question of how to define criteria to be relevant to customer expectations and how they affect final purchasing decisions in the context of choosing the operator to provide logistics services. In order to illustrate the full picture of the studied environment, as well as to maximally facilitate and encourage respondents to participate in the study, surveys were used mainly in the form of Internet, mostly containing closed and several open questions. The research was based on three research groups: logistics operators, customers of logistics operators and final recipients of services of logistics operators. In the individual groups, the survey invited: 1) about 80 companies from European logistics operators; 2) approx. 150 companies from Central and Western Europe dealing in production and trade according to the classification of economic activity; 3) over 2,000 people who have declared to buy various goods with delivery to the address indicated.

Celem badań była analiza wypadków przy pracy rolników w latach 2002-2012. Przeprowadzone badania dotyczyły wypadków w rolnictwie, ich zmian w czasie i struktury, a także związków pomiędzy liczbą wypadków a profilem produkcji rolniczej oraz położeniem gospodarstwa. Analizie poddano dane statystyczne KRUS dotyczące wypadków w rolnictwie za lata 2002-2012. Przeprowadzone analizy mają charakter badań wprowadzających i służą jako przyczynek do dalszych badań. W trakcie badań zaobserwowano m.in. współzależność pomiędzy położeniem gospodarstwa a liczbą wypadków śmiertelnych.
The article subject is safety problems in agriculture. The paper concerns to the legal conditions regarding health and safety in agriculture were presented. The current state of the law in this regard and its source have been shown too as well as the statistical data on accidents ASIF in agriculture have been analyzed. Surveys allowed to observe the relation between the number of accidents and the profile of agricultural production and farm location.

W artykule dokonano syntezy informacji literaturowych dotyczących logistyki procesów produkcyjnych, zawężając ją do przemysłu maszynowego. Wskazano te elementy, które są niezbędne w nowoczesnych procesach wytwórczych, zarówno w zakresie procedur i oprogramowania (software) jak również wykorzystywanego sprzętu (hardware). Wykazano, że zmiana (unowocześnienie) środków produkcji generuje potrzebę zmian w logistyce procesów wytwarzania. Obydwa elementy łącznie pozwalają na wyraźne zwiększenie efektywności tych procesów. Holistyczne ujęcie zagadnienia, zawierające aspekty: techniczne, ekonomiczne oraz środowiskowe, przyczyniło się do tego, że proponowane w artykule rozwiązania mogą być przydatne w szeroko pojętej technosferze.
In this paper a synthesis of literature information on the logistics of manufacturing processes was made, narrowing it down to the machine-building industry. The elements which are indispensable in modern manufacturing processes, both in terms of procedures and programs (software) and the nr 4/2021 www.obrobkametalu.tech equipment used (hardware), have been identified. It has been shown that the change (modernization) of the means of production generates the need for changes in the logistics of manufacturing processes. Both elements together allow for a clear increase in the efficiency of these processes. The holistic approach to the issue, including technical, economic and environmental aspects, contributed to the fact that the solutions proposed in the article can be useful in the widely understood technosphere.
