    Artykuł dotyczy wybranych zagadnień instytucji opozycji parlamentarnej w niemieckim parlamentaryzmie. Opozycja parlamentarna w niemieckim systemie rządów jest zjawiskiem powszechnie akceptowanym. Na jej status i pozycję wpływa wiele czynników, od struktury organów wewnętrznych i sposobu ich kreowania, po konkretne instytucje prawa parlamentarnego pozwalające na czynne uczestniczenie w realizacji podstawowych funkcji Bundestagu. Organami wewnętrznymi niemieckiego Bundestagu są Prezydent Bundestagu, Prezydium, Rada Seniorów oraz komisje. Sposób obsady poszczególnych organów, ich zadania i sposób procedowania (zwłaszcza Rady Seniorów) umożliwiają ugrupowaniom opozycyjnym w sposób rzeczywisty wpływać na funkcjonowanie Izby. Tym samym, mimo braku prawnej instytucjonalizacji zjawiska opozycji na szczeblu federalnym, można mówić o politycznym uznaniu praw opozycji parlamentarnej w Niemczech.
    The article concerns chosen issues of the institution of the parliamentary opposition in the German parliamentary system. The parliamentary opposition in the German system of governments is a universally accepted phenomenon. Many factors affect its status and the position, from the structure of internal organs and the way of creating them, for specific institutions of the parliamentary law allowing for active participating in the realization of basic functions of the Bundestag. A President of the Bundestag, a Presidium, Advice of Seniors and committees are internal organs of the German Bundestag. The manner of the casting of individual organs, their tasks and the way of proceeding (especially Advice of Seniors) enable opposition groupings in the real way to influence functioning of the Chamber. In the process, in spite of the lack of the legal institutionalization of the phenomenon of the opposition on the federal level, it is possible to tell about political recognizing laws to the parliamentary opposition in Germany.

    Activities and instruments of innovation policy in the microenterprenuers opinion The paper contains the research results on the activities and instruments used by government istitutions in the implementation of innovation policy. The aim of the study was to identify and evaluate the key activities and instruments, which had an impact on microterprises innovativeness in Warmia and Mazury region. Key activities of public organizations, which had an impact on the microenterprises innovativeness were: reduction the law encumbarance administrative on businesses (including microenterprises), intensification and expanding the role of consultation in creating the law, creation secure information networks and systems and e-commerce promotion. The most important instruments for the implementation innovation policy, wchich used by the public were: loans for purposes related to the business, training about external financing innovation and access to constantly updated databases (eg. knowledge, best practices).

    The Polish energy sector requires changes and the energy policy should be conceived Properly due to its interrelationships with the concept of Poland’s long-term development. A clear strategy concerning operation of the energy sector has been missing since 1989. Changes in government cabinets were accompanied by changes in the restructuring and privatisation concept and in the scope and pace of introducing competition principles. These are rather permanent dilemmas of the energy policy. A circumstance explaining but justifying this situation to a small extent is an exceptionally complex set of factors determining this policy. The authors attempted to explain it describing problems connected with choosing solutions corresponding to changing conditions. According to the authors, in order to accomplish a goal being undoubtedly strategic for the economic policy such as reduction of costs of the energy sector operation and achievin a rational level of prices and improving the state of energy security, in particular, in its economic and financial aspects, it is necessary primarily to continue the systemic transformation remembering all the time about interests of energy consumers and not its producers. It is the authors’ main recommendation. It should be underlined strongly that a special function performed by the State in this process is creating convenient conditions for emergence and operation of the energy market also in these fields, which do not lend themselves for thorough market reforms as yet. With regard to the energy sector it implies that the Government should pursue a policy of a consistent implementation of a priority of building competitive markets in accordance with the Energy Act and the EU directives. Directions of the energy policy and particularly the ownership policy should be clear also for those not involved directly in this sector and especially for investors so that they can shape the perspective of their development, make indispensable investment expenditures and conclude contracts favourable for them on the basis of such government document.

    W artykule opisano związki między umiejętnością aktywnej percepcji przestrzeni a rysunkiem odręcznym, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem ich roli w rozwijaniu umiejętności twórczych architektów. Wyróżniono cztery kategorie widzenia i odpowiadające im sposoby plastycznego zapisu. Wszystkie one zostały omówione na podstawie przykładów rysunków W. Weissa, Z. Herberta, współczesnych architektów (m.in. T. Głowackiego) oraz prac studenckich. Zwrócono uwagę na pewne odrębności i jednocześnie uzupełnianie się tych kategorii w ostatecznym kształtowaniu aktywnej, twórczej postawy percepcji przestrzeni, nazwanej aktywnie otwartym okiem.
    This article describes the relationship between active perception of space and hand-drawing, with particular emphasis on their role in developing creative skills of architects. There are four categories of vision and their respective modes of artistic record. All of them are described on the basis of examples of W. Weiss, Z. Herbert, contemporary architects (including T. Głowacki) and student work. Attention was drawn to certain distinctness and at the same time complementing these attitudes in the final shaping of the active, creative attitude of perception of space, called Active Eye.

    The Constitution provides the possibility of appointing the ministers in two categories – ministers in charge of the government administration department and ministers per-forming tasks assigned by the President of the Council of Ministers. The conditions for holding the office define the rights and duties of a minister. While analyzing them, it is necessary to highlight those resulting from the fact that ministers are members of the collective executive body as well as those related to the exercise of office. The status of “departmental” ministers and that of ministers without portfolio are equivalent with-in the cabinet. The Act on the Council of Ministers does not define separate rights, does not impose separate obligations resulting from membership in the Council of Ministers, and the obligations toward the Sejm and its bodies remain the same.
    Konstytucja przewiduje możliwość powołania dwóch kategorii ministrów – ministrów kierujących działem administracji rządowej oraz ministrów wykonujących zadania wyznaczone przez Prezesa Rady Ministrów. Analizując prawa i obowiązki ministrów można wskazać te, które wynikają z członkostwa w Radzie Ministrów, a także wynikające ze sprawowania urzędu. W sferze praw i obowiązków pozycja ministrów „resortowych” oraz ministrów „bez teki” jest równorzędna. Ustawa o Radzie Ministrów nie określa od- rębnych praw, nie nakłada odrębnych obowiązków z tytułu członkostwa w Radzie Ministrów, jednakowe pozostają również obowiązki wobec Sejmu i jego organów.

    Studia Anity Jarzyny zebrane w książce Post-koiné. Studia o nieantropocentrycznych językach (poetyckich) lokują się w polu „przeżywających” obecnie rozkwit studiów nad zwierzętami i wypracowują spójną koncepcję czytania poezji z zastosowaniem najnowszych metodologii. Pomysł Jarzyny, która poddała mikrologicznej analizie wiersze kilkudziesięciu poetek i poetów, oparty jest na śledzeniu intencjonalnych rekonfiguracji utartych wyrażeń i dowartościowaniu tropów, ponieważ, jak przekonuje Donna Haraway, to one powodują, że język „odchyla się od właściwego kursu i skręca”. Uwaga ta odnosi się nie tylko do twórczości Joanny Mueller i Justyny Bargielskiej, które przechwytują i unieważniają inwektywy łowieckie (pomiot, pokot), lecz również poetów dekonstruujących funkcjonujące w polszczyźnie oksymorony (casus Ryszarda Krynickiego), a także aluzyjnie nawiązujących do kanonicznych formuł (np. Adorna), których znaczenie ulega rozszerzeniu (casus wiersza Życie ptaków i ssaków po Kronholda). Nie jest to jedyna strategia, na jaką decyduje się Jarzyna. Zarysowuje też komplementarną narrację o zwierzęcych biografiach (np. Łajki), których nagłaśnianie wpisuje się w projekt poszerzania ludzkiej historii o nieludzkich aktorów, autorstwa Érica Barataya. Francuski historyk postuluje, że zwierzę nie może być nadal białą plamą historii, dlatego należy wypracować koncepcję czytania dokumentów i świadectw, która pozwoliłaby na zrekonstruowanie losu zwierząt. Ich sprawczość jest w świetle nowych badań niepodważalna, co podkreśla również Jarzyna. Jej projekt poddaje krytyce wiele stereotypów i zapowiada wypracowywanie nowego sposobu mówienia i myślenia o zwierzętach. Pierwszym etapem rewizji starego porządku ma być rewolucja języka i oczyszczenie go z inwektyw o podłożu animalnym i porównań, które zawsze pozostają krzywdzące dla zwierząt. W ocenie autora tekstu monografia Jarzyny wyróżnia się na tle innych publikacji sposobem prowadzenia wywodu i narracją, która wykracza poza kostyczny styl książek akademickich.
    Anita Jarzyna’s essays, collected in the book Post-koiné. Studia o nieantropocentrycznych językach (poetyckich) (Post-Koiné. Studies on Non-Anthropocentric (Poetic) Languages), contribute to the flourishing field of animal studies. Her work develops a coherent theory of the reading of poetry using the latest methodologies. Jarzyna’s main argument, developed through a microscopic analysis of the the poems of several dozen poets, is for the necessity of the intentional reconfiguration of well-worn expressions and the re-evaluation of tropes. The reason for this is, as Donna Haraway argues, that such linguistic constructions and tropes are the reason the language “deviates from the correct path and takes a turn”. This remark applies not only to the works of Joanna Mueller and Justyna Bargielska, which intercept and neutralise derogatory language related to hunting (pomiot, pokot), but also to poets deconstructing oxymorons functioning in the Polish language (as in the case of Ryszard Krynicki), as well as allusively referring to canonical formulas (Adorno) which are of importance in the period (for example, in the poems of The Lives of Birds and Mammals, Kronhold). This is not the only strategy Jarzyna decides to pursue. She also outlines a complementary account of the animal biography (for example, Laika the dog, one of the first animals in space), the publicizing of which is part of Éric Baratay’s project of extending human history to non-human actors. The French historian postulates that the animal cannot remain a blank spot in history; a methodology for reading documents and testimonies must be developed in order to allow the reconstruction of the life path of animals. In the light of new research, the agency of animals is unquestionable, a narrative that Jarzyna also builds upon. This project criticizes many stereotypes and announces the development of a new way of speaking and thinking about writing. The first step in revising the old order is to revolutionize language by purifying it of animal-related curse words and other linguistic constructions that harm animals. In the eyes of this reviewer, Jarzyna’s monograph stands out from other publications in terms of the construction of the argument and its centralpremises, which go beyond the cautious style of many academic books.

    The aim of the paper is to identify and evaluate the development opportunities for farms in Poland in terms of area groups. The analysis covered the 2015-2019 period and was based on the results of individual farms keeping agricultural accounts under the Polish FADN. The paper determined the level and rate of accumulation, as well as the level of depreciation, taxes and fees, operating subsidies, and the ratio of operating subsidies to public accumulation and support that the farms receive under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). The results indicate the financial and organizational diversity of the group of farms. Very small, medium-large, large, and very large farms had a positive accumulation rate. In this group of farms, the accumulation in terms of value covered the depreciation, and even in the case of large and very large farms it exceeded the depreciation. By contrast, small and medium-small farms were characterized by negative accumulation rates, which was associated with the lack of reproduction of fixed assets. These farms have no development opportunities. In conclusion, the ratio of subsidies to public accumulation is the most beneficial in the case of medium-large farms, where the ratio of subsidies to fiscal burden was over 20:1. Very small farms receive the least benefits under the CAP in terms of public accumulation. In this case, the ratio of subsidies to public accumulation is approximately 2:1 throughout the entire research period.
    Celem artykułu jest rozpoznanie i ocena zdolności rozwojowych gospodarstw rolnych w Polsce ze względu na grupy obszarowe. Zakres czasowy analiz odnosi się do okresu 2015-2019 i opiera na wynikach indywidualnych gospodarstw rolnych prowadzących rachunkowość rolną w ramach Polskiego FADN. Scharakteryzowano poziom i stopę akumulacji, jak również poziom amortyzacji, podatków i opłat, dopłat do działalności operacyjnej oraz określono relację dopłat do działalności operacyjnej względem akumulacji publicznej i wsparcia, które otrzymują badane gospodarstwa w ramach wspólnej polityki rolnej (WPR). Wyniki badań wskazują na różnorodność finansowo-organizacyjną ocenianej grupy gospodarstw rolnych. W gospodarstwach bardzo małych, średnio dużych, dużych i bardzo dużych wystąpiła dodatnia stopa akumulacji. W grupie tych gospodarstw akumulacja w ujęciu wartościowym pokrywa amortyzację, a nawet w przypadku gospodarstw dużych i bardzo dużych przekracza wartość odpisów amortyzacyjnych. Natomiast gospodarstwa małe i średnio małe charakteryzowały się ujemnymi stopami akumulacji, co wiąże się z brakiem reprodukcji majątku trwałego. Gospodarstwa te nie mają szans rozwoju. W konkluzji stwierdzono, że relacja dopłat do akumulacji publicznej jest najkorzystniejsza wśród gospodarstw średnio dużych, gdzie relacja dopłat do obciążeń fiskalnych wyniosła ponad 20-krotność. Najmniejsze korzyści z WPR względem akumulacji publicznej odnoszą gospodarstwa bardzo małe, tu relacje dopłat do akumulacji publicznej wynosi około dwukrotność w całym okresie badań.

W artykule przedstawiono projekt, wykonanie i oprogramowanie pojazdu typu quadrocopter. Dodatkowo dokonano filtracji sygnałów pomiarowych i opracowano algorytm sterowania.
    One of the many flying platforms is vehicle of type quadrocopter. The development of technique allows design and construction platforms for moving of several axes. The paper presents the project, construction and programming of flying platform type quadrocopter. Moreover, the filtering of measurements signals and control algorithm was developed.

    “A Try for Completeness”. Sławomir Buryła: Wokół Zagłady. Szkice o literaturze Holokaustu. Kraków, Towarzystwo Autorów i Wydawców Prac Naukowych UNIVERSITAS, 2016, ss. 365. The purpose of this review is to discuss the issues presented in Sławomir Buryła’s book, which are selected and clustered with regard to the diachronic and biographical perspectives, and originate in the readings of novels which have been artistically discredited, forgotten, and underrated. The review praises the meticulous register of sources used and the micrological approach adopted in the second part of the work, which also aims at reconstructing the biographies of the authors not included in the canon of Holocaust literature. The compendium of literary representations of the Shoah, which Buryła establishes in his book, indicates the incapacity of creating unconventional plots which – supported by the idiom of the author – would have allowed writers to articulate accurate judgements about the reality of the Holocaust, diverging from the accepted ethical norms. Moreover, the review emphasises the influence of poet(h)ics on the critical readings of both non‑fiction and fiction. Buryła, disputing the decisions of the authors related to the “forbidden representation,” points to the hegemony of popular culture which devalues the experience of the Shoah and makes the reflection upon marginality, liminality, and the ambivalent ethical choices impossible. Instead, he acknowledges the literary motifs derived from the works beyond mainstream and those which reside on the very limits of the canon: the narcissist and tasteless narrations treating the Holocaust as a pretext and a secondary issue. Finally, the review also notes the synthetic manner in which Buryła aims at classifying the threads and motifs of the Shoah, and establishing its undistorted, monumental, and complete image.

    Using Michael Rothberg’s concept of the multidirectional memory, the author of this article proves that in Halina Poświatowska’s poetry memory of the Shoah is activated in confrontation with media images of the Vietnam War. In the poems, the memory of various genocides is dynamic, because of which such phenomena as competitiveness, rivalry, or dominance of forms of commemorating chosen mass crimes give way to the rule of consolidation of memory. The author also investigates the feminist motifs and observes the convergence between the forms of resistance presented by Poświatowska and the concepts of revolt discussed by Judith Butler (grievability, vulnerability). The involvement of the poet in matters contemporary to her is – next to the contemplation of the fragile body – the most important theme of her poetry, which has not been noted by the critics, who accused her of escapism, egotism, imitativeness, and infantilism.
    Autor artykułu, wykorzystując koncepcję pamięci wielokierunkowej Michaela Rothberga, udowadnia, że w poezji Haliny Poświatowskiej pamięć o Zagładzie uaktywnia się w konfrontacji z obrazami medialnymi wojny w Wietnamie. W utworach poetki pamięć o różnych formach ludobójstw jest dynamiczna, dzięki czemu zjawiska takie jak konkurencyjność, współzawodnictwo czy dominacja form upamiętniania wybranych masowych zbrodni ustępują miejsca regule konsolidacji pamięci. Autor tropi również wątki feministyczne i dostrzega zbieżność form oporu prezentowanych przez Poświatowską z koncepcjami buntu omówionymi w pracach Judith Butler („opłakiwalność”, wulnerabilność). Zaangażowanie poetki w sprawy jej współczesne stanowi (obok kontemplacji kruchego ciała) najważniejszy temat poezji, który nie został odnotowany przez krytyków, zarzucających jej eskapizm, egotyzm, wtórność, infantylizm.

    W artykule przedstawiono poziom i zmiany innowacyjności przedsiębiorstw przemysłu spo-żywczego w państwach członkowskich Unii Europejskiej w latach 2008-2010 i 2010-2012. Mierzono je udziałem przedsiębiorstw prowadzących działalność innowacyjną (bieżącą lub zaniechaną) w ogólnej liczbie przedsiębiorstw (wg Podręcznika Oslo). Ponadto przedstawiono odsetek przedsię-biorstw aktywnych innowacyjnie w zakresie: wyłącznie innowacji technologicznych, wyłącznie w innowacji nietechnologicznych oraz jednocześnie innowacji technologicznych i nietechnologicznych. Przeprowadzone badania wskazują, że najkorzystniejsza sytuacja pod wzglę-dem poziomu i zmian innowacyjności występowała w krajach takich, jak: Luksemburg, Estonia, Mal-ta, Dania, Litwa, Finlandia, Wielka Brytania i Francja.
    The article presents the level and changes in enterprise innovation of the food industry in the EU Member States in 2008-2010 and 2010-2012 measured as the share of enterprises engaged in innova-tive activities (on-going or abandoned) in relation to the total number of companies (based on the Oslo Manual). In addition, we show the percentage of innovation active enterprises in the area: only techno-logical innovation, only non-technological innovation, and both technological and non-technological innovation. The study indicates that the most advantageous situation in terms of the level of innovation and changes occurred in countries such as Luxembourg, Estonia, Malta, Denmark, Lithuania, Finland, the United Kingdom and France.

This text provides an overview of questions presented in Katarzyna Kuczyńska‑Koschany’s book, which are connected to the possibility of a literary conceptualization of the gesture ofresistance. The reviewer notes the exceptional character of the text, whose author explores the margins of literature of the Shoah via the deconstruction of the canon. Appreciating the author’sconception, the reviewer presents three parts of her work, simultaneously accentuating the last part, comprising micrological analytical‑interpretative studies; this part reveals the practical use of the eponymous category in life and works of prominent Polish poets, whose witnessing to the  Shoah is based on the ethics of memory. The reviewer stresses the role of “anti‑totalitarian poetic and creational gestures” discussed in Kuczyńska‑Koschany’s book and points to the approach of the author, who stands for the personalized reading of the legacy of the Shoah.

    Artykuł podejmuje problem kultury organizacyjnej w kontekście przemian technologicznych, szczególnie w dobie rozwijających się narzędzi mobilnych, takich jak tablety i smartfony. Jego celem jest skonfrontowanie wizji przemian pracy biurowej z lat 70.-90. z wynikami foresightu społecznego przeprowadzonego w latach 2015/2016. Zbieżność wizji sprzed kilkudziesięciu lat z obecnymi scenariuszami dalszej transformacji pracy pokazuje, że nowe technologie niewiele zmieniły w wyobraźni społecznej i raczej oddziaływały w polu relacji społecznych, a nie samej infrastruktury pracy. Zjawiska takie, jak praca „anytime, anywhere” należą nadal do pewnych modeli-mitów kultury organizacyjnej, choć mają olbrzymi wpływ na budowanie określonego wzorca profesjonalnej pracy elastycznej.
    Article raises the issue of organizational culture in the context of technological changes especially in the times of developing mobile tools. Its aim is to confront the vision of the transformation of office work from the 70.-90. with the results of social foresight carried out in the 2015/2016 year. The convergence of the previous visions with the current scenarios of the further transformation of work shows that new technology has changed very little in the social imagination and rather interacts with the field of social relations. Phenomena such as work "anytime, anywhere" still belong to certain models-myths of organizational culture.

    This paper discusses the challenges of researching peer groups through a multi-focal, temporal lens in a retrospective manner. Embedded in a broader “Peer Groups & Migration” Qualitative Longitudinal Study (QLS), the article focuses on recruiting young respondents (aged 19-34 at present) who originally come from one of the three medium-sized towns in Polish localities and are either migrants or stayers connected to mobile individuals. The respondents are tracked retrospectively and asked to discuss their adolescence, as well encouraged to provide contacts to their youth Peer Group members. Based on fieldwork experiences and field access challenges, four models of recruiting migrants’ high school peer groups are presented. Furthermore, variants and rationales of non-recruitment are also provided. Focusing on the process of establishing a long-term and large-scale peer panel in the QLS, the paper contributes detailed know-how and strategies around participant recruitment.
    Artykuł omawia wyzwania rekrutacji respondentów do retrospektywnego badania podłużnego grup rówieśniczych w kontekście upływającego czasu i mobilności przestrzennej. Opierając się na szerszym jakościowym badaniu w projekcie „Paczki przyjaciół i migracje” w artykule szczegółowo omówiony zostaje proces rekrutacji młodych respondentów w wieku 19–34 lata. Uczestnicy badania pochodzą z trzech miast powiatowych w Polsce i doświadczali migracji tak międzynarodowych, jak i wewnętrznych lub też byli powiązani z rówieśnikami, którzy wyjechali z ich lokalizacji pochodzenia. Respondenci proszeni byli o retrospektywne omówienie czasów swojej młodości/adolescencji, a także o przekazanie kontaktów do członków ich grupy rówieśniczej z okresu gdy mieli 15–19 lat. Na podstawie doświadczeń terenowych w artykule wyróżniono cztery modele rekrutacji grup rówieśniczych. Obok tych modeli wskazano także warianty oraz powody porażek rekrutacyjnych. Artykuł dostarcza praktycznej wiedzy o strategiach rekrutacji uczestników, szczególnie w kontekście budowania szeroko zakrojonego panelu rówieśniczego w ramach jakościowego badania podłużnego.

    Od odzyskania w 1918 r. niepodległości przez państwo polskie obowiązywało kilka aktów ustrojowych (konstytucji i tzw. małych konstytucji). W każdym z nich zawarte były przepisy określające zakres działania rządu, jego strukturę, mechanizmy powoływania i odwoływania członków gabinetu oraz zasady ponoszenie odpowiedzialności. W artykule zostało przedstawione jak w ponad 100-letniej historii zmieniały się wskazane kwestie i na ile obecnie obowiązujące rozwiązania stanowią kontynuację rozwiązań Konstytucji z 17 marca 1921 r.
    Since Poland regained independence in 1918, there have been several constitutional acts in force (constitutions and the so-called “small constitutions”). Each of them contained provisions defining the scope of government activity, its structure, the mechanisms of appointing and dismissing cabinet members, as well as the principles of accountability. The paper outlines the way in which these issues have been developing over the past 100 years and to what extent the current solutions constitute the continuation of the solutions of the Constitution of 17 March 1921.

    Artykuł podejmuje problem pojawienia się w obszarze badań nad wizualnością obrazów generowanych przez urządzenia bądź praktyki związane z nauką i techniką. Status tych obrazów w obszarze badań nad relacją człowiek-technologia podejmuje teoria aktora-sieci (Latour) oraz postfenomenologia techniki (Ihde). Pierwsza z nich jest już bliżej znana w Polsce, natomiast druga wciąż wymaga właściwej recepcji. Wspólnym, historycznym punktem wyjścia dla tych teorii w obszarze studiów nad wizualnością są rozważania z zakresu sztuki i estetyki. Obie koncepcje różnicuje jednakże metodologia i stosunek do klasycznych teorii fi lozofi cznospołecznych. W tekście analizowane są kluczowe pojęcia dla tych dwóch kierunków badawczych, zwłaszcza pojęcie mediacji oraz hermeneutyki materialnej.
    The article concerns the problem of pictures generated by scientifi c and technic tools or practices in the fi eld of visualization studies. Status of these pictures in the sphere of studies of human-technology relation is analyzed in terms of actor-network theory (Latour) and postphenomenology of technology (Ihde). The fi rst of these theories is known in Poland, however the second one still demands proper reception. Common, historical beginning for the theories in their interest in visualization studies are refl ections about art and aesthetics. Both theories diversify methodology and the attitude to the classical philosophical-social theories. The article analyzes the key concepts for these two research directions especially concept of mediation and material hermeneutics.

    The level of innovativeness of business subjects and the types of innovations implemented by them depends from their size. Farms using assets of agricultural property of the country treasury (ZWRSP) have over average production potential. They are in a natural way predisposed to conduct the innovative activity. In the article the generic scope is discussed and the meaning of implemented changes in farms using the assets of agricultural property of country treasury, localized in warmińsko-mazurskie voivodeship. Empiric material was the result of surveys conducted in 138 agricultural holdings during June-July in 2016. Main attention was directed to the diversity of gained answers in dependence of scale of leased lands and correlated with it size of farms surfaces.
    Poziom innowacyjności podmiotów gospodarczych oraz rodzaje innowacji przez nie wdrażanych zależy od ich wielkości. Gospodarstwa użytkujące zasób własności rolnej Skarbu Państwa (ZWRSP) dysponują ponadprzeciętnym potencjałem produkcyjnym. Są one zatem w naturalny sposób predystynowane do prowadzenia działalności innowacyjnej. W artykule omówiono zakres rodzajowy i znaczenie wprowadzanych zmian w gospodarstwach użytkujących zasób własności rolnej Skarbu Państwa, zlokalizowanych w województwie warmińsko-mazurskim. Materiał empiryczny stanowiły wyniki badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych w 138 gospodarstwach rolniczych w miesiącach czerwiec–lipiec 2016 r. Główną uwagę zwrócono na zróżnicowanie uzyskanych odpowiedzi w zależności od skali dzierżawionych gruntów i skorelowanej z nią wielkością powierzchni gospodarstw.

    Estetyczna spuścizna Bauhausu wciąż ma duży wpływ na kształtowanie się oblicza współczesnej architektury. Szczególnie w perspektywie jej relacji ze sztuką. Aktualne jest pytanie o charakter tych twórczych relacji w poszukiwaniu definicji architektury. W artykule wątek ten podjęto przez zestawienie ważnych paradygmatów szkoły Bauhausu ze współczesnym głosem architektów i artystów, którzy wzięli udział w XVII Biennale Architektury Freespace w Wenecji w 2018 r. W pracy omówiono i pokrótce przedstawiono wybrane ekspozycje. Dzięki temu zobrazowano, jak dzisiaj architektura poszukuje ciekawych rozwiązań w kooperacji ze sztuką, a twórcy okazują się podążać tropami podejmowanymi wcześniej przez Bauhaus zarówno w warstwie działań estetycznych, jak i znaczeniowych. Jednocześnie pokazano, jak nowatorstwo i tradycja zmieniają wątki, odkrywają nowe aspekty architektury w jej kolejnych historycznych odsłonach.
    The aesthetic heritage of the Bauhaus still has a strong influence on the shaping of the face of contemporary architecture. Especially in view of its relationship with art. The question of the character of these creative relationships in the search for a definition of architecture is still on the map. The article explores this theme by comparing important paradigms of the Bauhaus school with the contemporary opinions of architects and artists who took part in the 16th Freespace Architecture Biennale in Venice in 2018. Selected exhibitions were discussed and briefly presented in the paper. Thanks to this, it was illustrated how today architecture looks for interesting solutions in cooperation with art, and the creators turn out to follow the paths previously undertaken by the Bauhaus, both in terms of aesthetic and meaningful activities. At the same time, it was shown how innovation and tradition change themes and discover new aspects of architecture in its subsequent historical versions.

    The research on competitiveness, derived from the theory of international exchange, is becoming increasingly important under the current conditions of internationalisation, integration and globalisation processes. Competitiveness, therefore, is understood as the ability to cope with international competition, manifesting itself by the acceptance of a country’s products by customers on foreign markets. Thus, it is defined as a country’s ability to maintain or increase market shares. A similar approach can also be used while analysing the food sector competitiveness. The aim of the article is to assess the competitiveness of the Polish food sector on foreign markets in a dynamic approach, i.e., in the years 2018–2022. The changes in the basic trade flows, i.e., goods export, import and trade balance, as well as their geographical structure, together with the external conditions affecting the Polish food trade are discussed in the article. The study also contains an assessment of the Polish food sector competitiveness on the world market, carried out on the basis of two competitiveness indicators, i.e., the index of revealed comparative advantages in exports according to B. Balassa (RCA) and the Lafay export-import relations index (LFI). Both indicators testify to the inter-industry specialisation in trade by a given group of products. The comparative advantages and specialisation level of the production and export of the analysed products are expressed, among others, by the growing trade surplus of the products under research. The analysis was carried out on the level of HS (Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System) codes. The statistical data, analysed in the article, were taken from the World Integrated Trade Solutions (WITS-Comtrade) database and Statistics Poland, as well as the literature sources on the subject. The perspectives for the successful development of the food products trade, while maintaining Poland’s competitiveness in the said sector under the changing external conditions, were presented in the final part of the text.

    Jumeirah (Dubai) is one of the most important sites for the understanding of the Abbasid period in eastern Arabia. At the same time, it is severely understudied and the small number of publications available on the subject situates Jumeirah on the margins of academic debate about the region in the Islamic period. This paper aims to prompt discussion on Jumeirah by presenting an overview of the site, a summary of archaeological research and a preliminary study of the typology of stucco decorations. Some issues regarding problems with the reconstructions and renovations of the buildings are also raised. The study of stuccoes contributes to a better understanding of the site’s chronology, indicating its main phase of occupation to the Abbasid period and the possible existence of an earlier, pre-ninth or early ninth century phase.
