Three one-act plays – The Elevator, The Rebellion and The Freud – written by Wiesław Gorecki are analysed in the paper. These plays were premiered in 1934 by a theatre group Mikroscena, founded by Tadeusz Kudliński. In my opinion, Wiesław Gorecki’s dramas are examples of modern aesthetics (as defined by Richard Sheppard). We can read these works as a poetic drama (The Elevator), the Ibsenesque psychological theatre (The Fraud) and a game with scenic illusion in the style of Pirandello (The Rebellion). Finally, I created a new term for Goreckis’ plays: “miniature, light and bourgeois modernism”.

Opis:
The paper concerns the study of the effect of thermal phenomena on characteristics of the IGBT. The used measurement set-ups and the results of measurements of dc characteristics of the selected transistor obtained under different cooling conditions are presented. The influence of the ambient temperature and the applied cooling system on the shape of these characteristics is discussed. In particular, attention has been paid to the untypical shape of non-isothermal characteristics of this element in the subthreshold range.

Streszczenie: Współczesne koncepcje uwarunkowania gry hazardowej mówią o istotnej roli młodego wieku inicjacji w rozwoju problemowego hazardu. W świetle dużej popularności loot boxów wśród dzieci i młodzieży grających w gry komputerowe, warto przyjrzeć się używaniu loot boxów w kontekście podobieństwa do uprawiania hazardu. Celem pracy jest porównanie zjawiska gier hazardowych do zjawiska loot boxów oraz ocena podobieństw występujących w nich mechanizmów. W tym celu scharakteryzowano zjawisko hazardu – jego typologie, uwarunkowania i epidemiologię. Wyjaśniono także stosunkowo nowe pojęcie loot boxów – jako formy mikrotransakcji w grach wideo i przytoczono kilka badań, które wykazują podobieństwo tego rodzaju zabawy do hazardu.

In the paper the problem of modelling thermal properties of semiconductor devices with the use of compact models is presented. This class of models is defined and their development over the past dozens of years is described. Possibilities of modelling thermal phenomena both in discrete semiconductor devices, monolithic integrated circuits, power modules and selected electronic circuits are presented. The problem of the usefulness range of compact thermal models in the analysis of electronic elements and circuits is discussed on the basis of investigations performed in Gdynia Maritime University.

In the paper selected methods of measuring the thermal resistance of an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) are presented and the accuracy of these methods is analysed. The analysis of the measurement error is performed and operating conditions of the considered device, at which each measurement method assures the least measuring error, are pointed out. Theoretical considerations are illustrated with some results of measurements and calculations.

The paper refers to modelling characteristics of IGBT in SPICE software with self-heating taken into account. The form of the electrothermal model of the considered transistor and equations describing this model are proposed. The correctness of the proposed model is verified experimentally during the operation of the examined transistor at different cooling conditions. Particular attention is paid to the non-typical course of characteristics of the considered device at weak excitation. The shape of the obtained characteristics is discussed and the influence of the sub-threshold effect in the input MOS structure on these characteristics is analysed.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest z jednej strony przedstawienie podstawowych założeń komunitarianizmu, z drugiej natomiast próba dokonania rekonstrukcji znaczenia terminu „wolność słowa”, w oparciu o założenia metodologiczne analizowanej doktryny. W celu usystematyzowania wywodu najpierw przytoczę podstawowe poglądy komunitarian. Później omówię stanowisko Jeffrey’a Abramsona i Elizabeth Bussiere, zawarte w artykule Wolność słowa i prawo do swobodnego przekazu. Perspektywa Komunitariańska. Pozwoli mi to sformułować w konkluzji odpowiedź na pytanie: czy według komunitarian można mówić o istnieniu jednej wspólnej definicji pojęcia wolności słowa, czy też nie byłoby właściwsze stwierdzenie, że mamy do czynienia z całym spektrum tych, różnych od siebie, wolności?

Utilitarianism as an innovative and original stream of ethical and political thought has enriched the philosophical discourse of the last three centuries. Utilitarian thinkers claim that maximization of pleasure correlated with minimization of pain is the correct way to create an objective catalog of rules or behaviors that result in the formation of the highest utility for a society and its individuals. From a methodological perspective, there are differences among the utilitarian philosophers on issues such as: happiness, pleasure or utility guide to diametrical disaccord on an ethical or institutional area. The present analysis of the utilitarian thought represents some of the interesting differences in interpretation of this doctrine. However, utilitarianism does not include logical or intellectually strong arguments for the protection of an individual’s rights against the interest of people at large. Thus, this doctrine during the 18th and the 19th centuries postulated the political egalitarianism. Nowadays, utilitarianism has lost its strong ethical position. In the past, utilitarianism was a political instrument to protect most of the people in a society from an arbitrary reigning of small elite groups. In recent times, this thought legitimizes the coercion of the majority will regardless of the fact that other smaller groups may have different political views. Such thinking allows to objectify the individual man which is only identified with instrumentality to maximization of utility. The author analyzes the writings of Jeremy Bentham, John Stuart Mill and Herbert Spencer, and compares their doctrines with the scientific literature and forwards a basic thesis on the universal principles of utilitarianism. The author argues that the actual rules of political ethics under conditions of limitation theory of utility append the law of inviolability of the natural rights of an individual.

When we apply stacked regression to classification we need only discriminant indices which can be negative. In many situations, we want these indices to be positive, e.g., if we want to use them to count posterior probabilities, when we want to use stacked regression to combining classification. In such situation, we have to use leastsquares regression under the constraint βₖ ≥ 0, k = 1,2,...,K. In their earlier work [5], LeBlanc and Tibshirani used an algorithm given in [4]. However, in this paper we use a more general algorithm given in [6].

From the moment of regaining independence by Lithuania, the Polish and Lithuanian state authorities felt the need to establish closer relations. This led to signing the Treaty between the Republic of Lithuania and the Polish Republic on friendly relations and neighborly cooperation in Vilnius on 26th April 1994. The article discusses its implementation by the Polish authorities (and the laws guaranteed for the Lithuanians, among others: the spelling of names and use of their mother tongue in public life; own education, access to public media). Analysis of normative material and practice shows that both the existing legal regulations in Poland regarding national minorities and policies of the state and local authorities, provide good conditions for the preservation of Lithuanians culture, their national identity and economic development as well as protect the Lithuanian minority against assimilation.

W artykule wskazano, że branża budowlana nie odbiega znacznie od innych pod względem ogólnych podstaw funkcjonowania organizacji gospodarczych. Specyfika branżowa pojawia się wyraziściej w zakresie zarządzania projektami. Uwidoczniono specyficzne cechy działalności budowlanej, wywierające istotny wpływ na kształtowanie charakteru projektów inwestycyjno-budowlanych. Na podstawie wyników badań empirycznych wskazano parametry projektowe jako wyzwania dla menedżerów przedsięwzięć budowlanych projektów inwestycyjnych. Badania dowiodły, że największym problemem jest przekraczanie planowanego terminu realizacji przedsięwzięcia budowlanego. Zarządzanie czasem i budżetem projektu to najbardziej istotne czynniki ryzyka w zarządzaniu budowlanymi przedsięwzięciami inwestycyjnymi. Sprecyzowano zasadnicze elementy kompetencji menedżerów budowlanych projektów inwestycyjnych. Wskazano też potrzebę kształtowania dojrzałości projektowej menedżera projektu, a także problemy stymulacji osobowości menedżera projektu przez zmiany pokoleniowe.

Auf einer Insel auf dem Lednica See, genannt Ledniczka, befindet sich eine Erdaufschüttung, die allgemein als ein kleiner Turmhügel bezeichnet wird. Die Insel liegt nah von Ostrów Lednicki und wird als Rybitwy — Ledniczka Fundstelle 4 bezeichnet. Sie hat unregelmäßige Form, ist ovalähnlich und umfaßt ein Gebiet mit ca. 1,3 ha Fläche. Der Hügeldurchmesser beträgt ca. 40,5 m (bei der Basis) und der Durchmesser des flachen und ca. 6m über die Oberfläche erhobenen Gipfels ca. 20 m (Abb. 1 und 2). Die Ausgrabungen auf Ledniczka führten bisher A. Nowak im Jahre 1966 und die Verfasser dieses Artikels in den Jahren 1989-1990. Sie hatten damals 10 Grabungsflächen eingerichtet (Abb. 3). Die bisher durchgeführten Ausgrabungen lassen folgendes stratigraphisches System zu bestimmen: Schicht I — Rasen, auf dem Liegenden dessen der Lehm mit Seekalklinsen sowie dunkle Humuserde mit Lehmbewurfschollen und Steine auftreten. Schicht Ib — Steinpflaster (im Westteil des Turmhügels), gebildet aus 2-4 Schichten von kleinen Steinen, 1,5 — 2m breit — ein Weg (?) Schicht II — braune Humuserde mit Lehmbewurf- und Brandrestschollen. Schicht IIa — aus Brandresten, Steinen und durchgebrannten Lehmschollen. Die Form des Lehms ist einem Quadrat mit ca. 4m langen Seiten ähnlich — er sei mit dem Gebäude 1 zu verbinden. Schicht IIc — gebildet aus Sand mit Lehm, Holzkohlen und 3 Schichten großer Steine — Fundamentschürfgraben (?) mit ca. 50 cm Breite und 30 - 80 cm Tiefe (Fundamente von Gebäuden 1 und 2). Schicht III — Lehmplatte auf großen Steinen und dunkle Erde mit Brandresten, großen Steinen und Lehmbewurffragmenten. Schicht IV — dunkle Erde mit Brandrestlinsen direkt auf der Aufschüttung (Errichtungszeit (?) des Gebäudes 2). Schichten V und VI — Hügelaufschüttung aus gelbem Lehm mit Seekalkschollen und grauen Erdlinsen. Schicht VIII — Untergrund (ca. 3,5 m unter dem Burgplatz) — gelber Lehm mit Seekalkschichten. Infolge der Untersuchungen wurden 4 Schichtenkomplexe abgesondert, die der Besiedlung entsprechen: 1) vor der Hügelerrichtung (Schicht VII); 2) aus der Zeit des Hügelaufschüttens (Schichten V, VI); 3) aus der Zeit der Burgbebauung (Schichten IIa, b, c, III, IV); 4) aus der Zeit der Burgvemichtung (Schichten I, II). Auf dem Hügelgipfel, in seinem mittleren und westlichen Teil wurden Bebauungsrelikte freigelegt (Abb. 9). Im Hügelnordteil liegt das Gebäude 1 mit Abmessungen 4 x 5m. Die unteren Wandteile, mit behaltener Höhe von 80 cm, wurden auch 3 Schichten der mit versandtem Lehm verbundenen Steine (Abb. 4. 8D, 8E) ausgeführt. Den Fußboden bildete dichter Lehm au f dem Steinuntergrund. Die im Bauschutt auftretenden Funde (darin Keramikfragmente von meistens ziegelgraufarbenen Gefäßen — 54,9% und ziegelfarbenen Gefäßen — 37,3%) erlauben dieses Objekt in die 2. Hälfte des 14. und 15. Jh. zu datieren. Das Gebäude 2 mit Abmessungen 8x5m lag in dem Hügelmittelteil. Die Wände waren in die Hügelaufschüttung ca. 110 cm tief eingegrabt. Die Wandunterteile waren auch aus 3 Steinschichten ausgeführt. Den Fußboden bildeten flach verlegte Steine (Abb. 5,6,8A). Die im Bauschutt auftretenden Funde (darin Keramikfragmente von meistens ziegelgraufarbenen Gefäßen — 62,6% und stahlgraunen Gefäßen — 27,5%) erlauben dieses Gebäude in die 2. Hälfte des 14. und 15. Jh. zu datieren. Gebäude Nr. 3 — kleines Grubenhaus mit 4 - 6 m2 Fläche mit Lehmwänden (Abb. 8E), die ca. 60 cm in die Hügelaufschüttung eingetieft waren (Abb. 6, 8B). Kleine Fläche und Lage auf dem südwestlichen Zipfel lassen zu vermuten, daß es ein Wachtturm mit einer Aussicht auf den Weg von der Burg von der Landseile war. Hier auch — von der Westseite — wäre der Eingang in die Burg zu erwarten. Mit der Bebauung sind auch Fragmente von zwei anderen kleinen Mauern in dem südlichen und südöstlichen Teil zu verbinden (Abb. 7,8B). Bei den Ausgrabungen wurden 2145 Gefäßscherben freigelegt, die meistens (81,1%) von den Mittelteilen stammen. Neben der Keramik wurden auch 121 Funde aus Eisen, Bronze, Blei sowie Geweih, Knochen und Glas freigelegt (Abb. 1 0 - 12, 14). Eine Grundlage für die Dateierung der kleinen Burg auf Ledniczka (wegen Mangels an schriftlichen Quellen) sind die beweglichen Funde: Waffenausrüstungsteile, Schmuckstücke, Keramik. Während der Ausgrabungen auf Ledniczką wurden die Armbrustpfeilspitzen (Abb. II: 2 - 4 , 6, 8, 9, 14, 16) freigelegt, die die Spitzen mit Hülse (Typ II nach A. Nadolski 1954, S.65, Tab. XXXII) vertreten und allgemein in den ins 14. und 15. Jh datierten Burgen auftreten. Zwei Sporensternräder (Abb. 11: 11, 17) und ein Sporn mit Gabeln für Sternräder (Abb. 11: 10) entsprechen dem Typ III nach Hilczerówna (1956, S. 62-63). In Burghügeln sind sie im 14. Jh. zu finden (J.Kamińska 1968, S. 56). In das 13. und 14. Jh. ist ein Hufeisenfragment mit bandförmigem Rahmen und Daumen mit hinterem Teil (Abb. 12: 13), das an Typ VI/2 nach J. Każmierczyk (1978. S.96) anknüpft, zu datieren. Bei der Chronologiefestlegung kann auch ein Fragment des 3-Plattenkamms (Abb. 10: 4), das an Gruppe И В Variante 2 Typ II nach E. Cnotliwy (1973, S .189) anknüpft, behilflich sein. Sie treten in der 2. Hälfte des 13. bis Ende des 15. Jh, auf. Der Keramikkomplex aus Ledniczką knüpft an die auf anderen Fundstellen in das 14. und Anfang des15. Jh. (Abb. 15-22) datierten Gefäße an. Auf den Anfang des 15.Jh. weist auch die Gestaltung der Hügelaufschüttung in Form eines regelmäßigen Vierecks mit abgerundeten und herausgeschobenen Ecken sowie die Steinfundamente des Gebäudes (A. Kola 1991, S. 199, J. Olczak 1974, S.277) hin. Sowohl die Fundensammlung wie auch die Form der Aufschüttung weisen auf die Datierungsmöglichkeit des Burghügels auf Ledniczką in den Zeitraum vom 14./15. Jh. bis zu den Anfängen des 15. Jh. hin. Die Erörterung der Rolle von Turmhügeln ist, trotz aufgenommenen Versuchen, weiterhin schwierig. Die mit diesen Burgen verbundene Problematik erscheint in der polnischen archäologischen und historischen Literatur, es gelang jedoch bisher ihre Genese, Funktion und Rolle nicht eindeutig zu bestimmen (Z. Wojciechowski 1928, M. Sczaniecki 1938, R. Jakimowicz 1939-1948, S.M. Zajączkowski 1961, J. Kamińska 1966, L. Kajzer 1972, H. Łowmiański 1985, S. Kołodziejski 1992). Bisherige Untersuchungen der Kastelanei in Ostrów lassen breitere Überlegungen über die Rolle der auf ihrem Gebiet lokalisierten Burghügeln (8 Objekte dieses Typs — siehe Abb. 24) und über den Charakter der Besiedlung um diese Burgen nicht zu. Bisher wurde Ledniczką mit dem Sitz des Kastellans von Ostrów verbunden, der auf dieser Insel im 13. Jh errichtet wurde (W. Hensel 1959, S.209, T. Wasilewski 1967, S.554, J. Leśny 1976, S.19). Eine Analyse des Materials aus bisherigen archäologischen Untersuchungen und zugänglichen schriftlichen Quellen (J. Leśny 1976, S. 26-36, I. Polkowski 1876, S.6, 25. Fußnote, M. Łastowiecki 1989, S. 33) läßt den Sitz des Kastellans auf Ostrów Lednicki zu lokalisieren (J. Górecki und andere 1993). Der im 15. Jh. funktionierende Burghügel auf Ledniczką konnte dagegen die Rolle eines Sitzes des Lokalmachthabers erfüllen. Dieser Sitz kann mit der in Großpolen bekannten Familie Latalski (u.a. Jan von Latalice Latalski — Erzbischof von Gniezno 1463 - 1540) verbunden werden.

Długo wyczekiwana na świecie Symfonia nr 4 „Tansman Epizody” na orkiestrę symfoniczną z organami i fortepianem obbligato H.M. Góreckiego powstała już w 2006 roku, jako hołd złożony Aleksandrowi Tasmanowi – kompozytorowi słowiańskiemu. Górecki pozostawił dzieło swojemu synowi Mikołajowi Góreckiemu w rękopisie do zinstrumentowania. Kompozycja została napisana na zamówienie czterech instytucji, w tym Andrzeja Wendlanda, dyrektora Międzynarodowego Festiwalu i Konkursu Indywidualności Muzycznych Tansman w Łodzi. Jak już wiadomo, utwór po śmierci kompozytora został dokończony przez Mikołaja Góreckiego i czterokrotnie prawykonany (Londyn, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Łódź). Światowa premiera kompozycji odbyła się 12 kwietnia 2014 roku w Londynie przez London Philharmonic Orchestra pod dyrekcją Andreya Borejki. Czteroepizodowa symfonia nie jest kontynuacją swojej „poprzedniczki” – Symfonii pieśni żałosnych, a tytuł utworu błędnie kieruje odbiorcę w stronę twórczości Tansmana. To nazwisko kompozytora zawarte w tytule staje się muzycznym anagramem, będącym budulcem głównego tematu symfonii. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie utworu w perspektywie intertekstualnej, jako przejawu muzyki inkluzywnej w twórczości H.M. Góreckiego.
A long awaited in the world, H.M. Górecki’s Symphony No. 4 ‘Tansman’s Episodes’ for grand orchestra with obbligato organ and piano was written in 2006, as a tribute to a Slav composer, Aleksander Tansman. Górecki left the short score manuscript for his son, Mikołaj Górecki, to orchestrate. The composition was commissioned by four institutions, including the Tansman International Festival of Music Personalities in Łódź, represented by the Festival director, Andrzej Wendland. After the composer’s death, the work was completed by Mikołaj Górecki and has had four premieres (London, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Łódź). The world premiere of the composition took place on April 12, 2014 in London, performed by London Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Andrey Borejko. The four-episode symphony is not a continuation of its “predecessor” – ‘Symphony of Sorrowful Songs’, and the title of the piece misleadingly directs the audience towards the works of Tansman. The composer’s name, included in the title, becomes a musical anagram which is the building material for the symphony’s main theme. The aim of the presentation is to show the work from an intertextual perspective, as a manifestation of inclusive music in the artistic output of H.M. Górecki.

Kwartety smyczkowe, nazywane przez Góreckiego „muzyką na cztery instrumenty”, napisał kompozytor specjalnie dla amerykańskiego zespołu muzyków Kronos Quartet. Wszystkie trzy powstały w „okresie późnym” twórczości, jako symbol intymnej wypowiedzi kompozytora w latach 1988–1990–1994 (2005). Interesujący jest los zwłaszcza kwartetu ostatniego, który czekał na swą premierę aż dekadę. Kwartety te, ze względu na użyty w nich materiał muzyczny odwołujący się do dziedzictwa polskiej kultury stanowić mogą rodzimy testament. Odwołania te są różne: od aluzji do renesansowych źródeł, poprzez wątki Chopinowskie, autonomiczności gatunku Górecki nadał utworom tytuły, które sugerują rodzaj zacytowanego autentyku. Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie stopnia tych nawiązań.
String quartets called by Górecki “the music on four instruments” were written especially for the American group of musicians Kronos Quartet. All the three were created in the late period of his creativity, as the symbol of the composer’s intimate statement in the years 1988–1990–1994 (2005). What is interesting is the fate of the last quartet, which had to wait a decade for its premiere. Those quartets, because of the used musical material referring to Polish cultural heritage, can pose a native testimony. These references are of various character: from allusions to renais- sance sources, through Chopin threads, Shymanowski’s citations, to the references to the highland culture. In order to meet the requirements of the tradition of the genre autonomism, Górecki enti- tled his works so the titles suggest the type of cited authentic work. The goal of the article is to present the degree of those references.

The gradual decline of the sexual performance of the elderly does not imply that their erotic needs extinguish completely. Only the possibilities and the means to obtain satisfaction change. The article presents the erotic aspects of the functioning of elderly people. It focuses primarily on the breakdown and on the reconstruction of senior marriages, the responses to these situations by close relatives, on informal relationships, on the reasons of reduced sexual activity of the elderly or even their sexual abstinence and on the functions of sex at old age. An important issue is the need to disseminate the knowledge on sexuality of the elderly and to promote more accepting attitudes towards their sexuality.

Henryk Górecki was a devout Polish Catholic composer. He testified that many of his compositions refer to Bogurodzica, a medieval Polish hymn pertaining to Marian devotion. Furthermore, Górecki himself wrote the first seven notes of Bogurodzica on a compositional sketch. This act strongly indicates that the first seven notes of Bogurodzica signify its sum. Consequently, the article has argued that Górecki derived three motives from the first seven notes of Bogurodzica and transformed them into musical signifiers of signified Polish Catholic Marian devotion in Totus Tuus. These motives include a descending fourth derived from Bogurodzica notes 3-6; a verticalization of the fourth; incomplete neighbor from Bogurodzica notes 1-2 and complete neighbor from Bogurodzica notes 5-7; and a voice exchange that visually depicts the Christian Cross as Augenmusik. The Bogurodzica-basei motives thoroughly saturate the crux of the composition. Within the sacred pitch space of Totus Tuus Górecki, the high priest of Holy Minimalism, delivers a profoundly moving autobiographical homily preaching the musical signification of Marian devotion.

The article presents the main processes and changes being seen in the development of Polish rural and agriculture transformation. The analysis and conclusion are based on several detailed studies of other authors as well as on comparative studies of different periods of development. The analysis covers the period of the second part of the 20th Century with special attention to decade of 1990-2000.

Ein der interessantesten Funde aus der piastischen Residenz auf Ostrów Lednicki bleibt ein geschnitzer Kamm. Sowohl der Rohstoff, in dem er ausgeführt wurde (Elfenbein), als auch die Ausführungstechnik (ausgeschnitten aus einer Platte) und charakteristische Ornamentik (reich geschnitzte Plattenflächen sowie zwei Löwenfiguren an den Rändern des Kammrückens (??? grzbiet grzebienia) lassen es zu, ihn zu einer besonderen Kammgruppe zu zählen, die in der Literatur als liturgische Kamme bezeichnet wird, weil ihre Funktion mit den Tätigkeiten des Priesters (Haarkämmen) vor der Liturgie verbunden war. Der auf Hälfte des 11. Jh. datierte Kamm (freigelegt in der Nahe einer Kirche) ist ein seltener Fund auf dem Gebiet Polens. Auf dem Gebiet Rus’ gab es solche Kämme nicht. Liturgische Kämme aus Elfenbein kennen wir aus dem Gebiet Böhmens; in größerer Menge treten sie in Westeuropa aus und die ältesten konzentrieren sich auf dem Territorium Nordafrikas (Algerien, Tunesien, Ägypten — ab 5. Jh. n. Chr.). Aus den alexandrischen (eventuell syrischen) Werkstätten kamen diese Kämme auch nach Südeuropa (Venedig). Mit der Produktion dieser Erzeugnisse haben auch die byzantinischen Werkstätte früh begonnen. Mit der Zeit (höchstwahrscheinlich mit der Ausbildung der organisatorischen Kirchenstruktur) haben die Herstellung der Kämme die Merowinger-, Karolinger- (Metz) und Ottoner-Werkstätte übernommen. Weiterhin waren die byzantinischen Werkstätte tätig, deren geschnitzte Kämme sogar bis an das Chazarien-Territorium und Skandinavien drangen, woher ein identisch wie das Exemplar aus Lednica verzierter Kamm (Löwenfiguren) stammt. Die Kamme aus Ostrów Lednicki und aus Lund (Katalog-Nr.: 41 und 27) vertreten mit Sicherheit den identischen Werkstattkreis und sogar vermutlich dieselbe (eher eine byzantinische als eine syrische) Werkstatt. Das Exemplar aus Lednica weist auf den Zusammenhang mit einem Geistlichen vom hohen Rang hin, der in dieser wichtigen Fürsten- und Königsresidenz war, die auch die Funktion eines christlichen Kultzentrums (Baptisterium, Kirche) realisierte, also besondere, mit der Macht und Ideologie der frühen polnischen Monarchie verbundene Inhalte offenbarte.

Opis:
Two ways of speed stabilization of the D.C. motor are considered. One way consists in the use of additional kinetic energy accumulated in a wheel with a large moment of inertia J. The other consists in the use of additional information supplied by a feedback loop with gain K. In both the cases the motor is under the influence of the same white Gaussion noise. These two ways of stabilization are compared under the assumption of the same value of the speed error in the steady state.

The aim of the article is to analyse Three diagrams for solo flute Op. 15 by Henryk Mikołaj Gorecki in the light of compositional techniques used in the piece as well as placing the work in the context of the early output of the composer. In order to achieve the defined aims the score has been analysed as well as the statements of the composer and of people related to him. This research enabled the author to precise in what ways Gorecki uses techniques such as serialism, punctualism and aleatorism. In the paper composer’s individual and innovative approach to the avant-garde techniques is revealed. However, the idiomatic elements of the whole Gorecki’s style are also present in the analysed work. The article consists of two parts. The first part includes the problem of history and the style of Henryk Mikołaj Gorecki’s early works. The second part is devoted to the analysis and conclusions.

Utilitarianism as innovatory and original stream of ethical and political thought enrich philosophical discourse of last three centuries. Utilitarian thinkers pointed out that maximization of pleasure correlated with minimization of pain is correct way to create objective catalog of rules or behaviors which application resulted in formation of the highest utility, good for an individual and good for a society. From methodological point of view there are differences between utilitarian philosophers thought, such as: happiness, pleasure or utility guide to diametrical disaccord on ethical or institutional area. The present scientific analyzes of utilitarian thought represent attractive differences in interpretation of this doctrine. Despite of this utilitarianism does not include logical and intellectual strong arguments of protection individual man rights in the case of conflict with interest people at large. Thus this doctrine in eighteen and nineteen centuries match to postulate political egalitarianism, but in nowadays utilitarianism lost its strong ethical position. In the past utilitarianism was a political instrument attended to protect a majority of society from arbitrary reigning of small elite group of people. Modernly this thought legitimize coercion a will of majority even though other smaller group of citizens have different political point of view. This kind of thinking allow to objectify individual man which is only identified with instrumentality to maximization of utility. The author analyzed thought of Jeremy Bentham, John Stuart Mill and Herbert Spencer. Afterwards he compared their doctrines with science literature and presented a thesis that is basic and universal principles of utilitarianism and it could be actual rules of political ethics under condition of limitation theory of utility by appending law of inviolability natural rights of man.

Two different analytical methods of determining extremal dynamic errors in linear dynamic systems are presented. The main idea of these methods is based on finding certain additional equations. These additional equations are obtained due to the assumption that an extremal point obtained from the necessary condition dx/dt=0, is also an extremum point with respect to initial conditions, that is, d/dci= 0, i = 1, . . . , n.
