With the increasing demand of customisation and high-quality products, it is necessary for the industries to digitize the processes. Introduction of computers and Internet of things (IoT) devices, the processes are getting evolved and real time monitoring is got easier. With better monitoring of the processes, accurate results are being produced and accurate losses are being identified which in turn helps increasing the productivity. This introduction of computers and interaction as machines and computers is the latest industrial revolution known as Industry 4.0, where the organisation has the total control over the entire value chain of the life cycle of products. But it still remains a mere idea but an achievable one where IoT, big data, smart manufacturing and cloud-based manufacturing plays an important role. The difference between 3rd industrial revolution and 4th industrial revolution is that, Industry 4.0 also integrates human in the manufacturing process. The paper discusses about the different ways to implement the concept and the tools to be used to do the same.

Web 2.0 provides resources and tools that make the learning process social and collaborative as they connect students with each other and help to move from the instructor-centred methods of teaching to more contextual learning and problem-solving techniques (J.West and M.West, 2009). The aim of the paper is to introduce findings on the project of implementing Web 2.0 resources for collaborative work in the National Research University Higher School of Economics. The main objectives of the project were to 1) single out Internet resources aimed at collaboration to suit the purposes of educational programme; 2) determine how much collaborative learning background students have and their attitudes to online and face-to-face collaboration; 3) analyse the students’ involvement in collaborative learning activities; 4) research the influence of web-related technologies on willingness to collaborate. The main methods used in the research were questionnaire, interview and observation as well as analyses of students’ work. The results revealed a positive attitude to Web 2.0 among the majority of the students. The offered Internet resources (Tricider.com, MeetingWords.com, TodaysMeet.com) improved communication and collaboration outside of the classroom, which is vital as increasingly less time is being allocated for studying a foreign language. Besides, Web 2.0 resources make it easier for teachers to evaluate each student’s contribution to task achievement and ensure fair assessment of each student’s work.

Following social-constructivist approaches in education, there has been a growing interest in employing Web 2.0 technologies in language classes. While the effectiveness of these digital teaching crafts has been corroborated in many studies (see Crook et al., 2008, for a survey), there is always doubt if they have reached a normalized state in L2 classes (Bax, 2003). This study, therefore, attempts to investigate the attitude of a group of language teachers towards the effectiveness of these emerging technologies in L2 classes. There were 53 participants in the study affiliated with universities, Ministry of Education, and language schools in Dezful. A questionnaire based on Son (2011) was designed in which Likert-scaled items were used to assess the factors of familiarity, perception, and use of online technologies in the classroom. The results suggested that most of the respondents exhibited low degrees of familiarity and use towards the technologies under investigation despite considering computerized tools as effective in the teaching-learning process. Besides, further explanations in semi-structured interview sessions indicated that most of the participants expected policy makers to incorporate supplementary Information Technology (IT) courses and facilities into teacher education and in-service programs as well as educational settings.

The use of independent and integrated speaking tasks represents a distinctive element of the TOEFL iBT speaking exam. Integrated tasks that involve synthesizing and summarizing information presented in reading and listening materials have the potential to generate new test preparation strategies. Language teachers, whether in schools or colleges, have started using Web 2.0. tools in order to prepare students for language exams. It is asserted that Web 2.0. tools support active and meaningful learning and help students to express themselves on a particular subject. This paper describes the use of Web 2.0. tools to simulate TOEFL iBT-style speaking exercises and improve the students’ test taking ability in speaking during a course for kindergarten teachers in Andychów. Web-based activities were also implemented to help students overcome their fear of speaking. Also discussed are the main problems encountered, both pedagogical and technical, and what was done to solve them. Student feedback from an end-of-the-semester survey and from qualitative interviews is shared. The survey study shows that the use of Web 2.0. tools was a key feature of exam preparation on this intensive course. It is agreed that speaking skills of students can be improved through careful implementation of Web 2.0. tools.

Pedagogical libraries attempt to use available online tools to promote their activities. The article presents various Web 2.0 tools which enable libraries to create and publish valuable content and allow them to communicate with their patrons, i.e. readers. The author attempts to analyse the degree to which these tools are used in pedagogical libraries.
Biblioteki pedagogiczne dokładają starań, aby wykorzystywać dostępne narzędzia internetowe do promocji swoich działań. W artykule zaprezentowano różnorodne narzędzia wpisujące się w nurt Web 2.0, umożliwiające tworzenie i publikowanie wartościowego contentu i komunikację z czytelnikami – klientami biblioteki. Podjęto także próbę analizy, w jakim stopniu są wykorzystywane w bibliotekach pedagogicznych.

O ile początkowo e-learning opierał się głównie na jednokierunkowym przekazie informacji, o tyle obecnie, między innymi dzięki web 2.0, student może pełnić znacznie bardziej aktywną rolę w procesie kształcenia przy użyciu nowoczesnych technologii. Jest to realizowane zarówno z wykorzystaniem platform zdalnego nauczania (np. fora, wiki), jak i otwartych serwisów typu Facebook. Powoli wzrastające zastosowanie różnorodnych narzędzi społecznościowych w dydaktyce akademickiej, w dalszym ciągu budzi u wykładowców szereg obaw i kontrowersji. W związku z powyższym szkolenia w tym zakresie powinny być nakierowane zarówno na zmianę postaw, jak i dostarczanie konkretnej wiedzy i rozwijanie umiejętności.
While initially e-learning was mainly based on one-way information transfer, nowadays, among others thanks to web 2.0, the student can play a much more active role in the education process supported by modern technologies. This is done both with the use of university teaching platforms (e.g. forums, wikis) as well as open Facebook websites. The slowly growing use of various social tools in university education still raises a number of concerns and controversies among lecturers. In connection with the above, training in this area should be directed both at changing attitudes and providing specific knowledge and developing skills.

The Internet, as a global, universal communication network, has become an important channel of information distribution. Currently,it hasa very social character, thanks to the dissemination of Web 2.0 sites, which allow users to create and publish their own multimedia content. Web 2.0 technologies make it easier for users to communicate, create, collaborate and share information. They are widely available and are characterized by low costs of use. The article presents the results of research on the most popular Polish health websites. It was examined whether health services meetthe requirements of Web 2.0 sites. The analysis is focused on the technological and social aspects. The COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in March and April 2020 in Poland was observed ashavingan influence on users and views of heath websites. The obtained results confirm the use of elements (both technological and social) by health services selected for research. However the usage of Web 2.0 technologies among websites varies.
Internet, jako globalna, uniwersalna sieć komunikacyjna, stał się ważnym kanałem dystrybucji informacji. Obecnie ma bardzo społeczny charakter, dzięki upowszechnieniu serwisów Web 2.0, które umożliwiają użytkownikom tworzenie i publikowanie własnych treści multimedialnych. Technologie Web 2.0 ułatwiają użytkownikom komunikację, tworzenie, współpracę i udostępnianie informacji. Są powszechnie dostępne i charakteryzują się niskimi kosztami użytkowania. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań najpopularniejszych polskich serwisów poświęconych zdrowiu. Zbadano, czy usługi zdrowotne spełniają wymagania witryn Web 2.0. Analiza koncentruje się na aspektach technologicznych i społecznych. Zaobserwowano, że zamknięcie gospodarki wskutek pandemii COVID-19 w marcu i kwietniu 2020 r. w Polsce znacząco wpłynęło na użytkowników i oglądalność witryno tematyce zdrowotnej. Uzyskane wyniki potwierdzają wykorzystanie wybranych do badań elementów (zarówno technologicznych, jak i społecznych). Jednak wykorzystanie technologii Web 2.0 na poszczególnych witrynach internetowych jest zróżnicowane.

This research explores what constitutes an educational tool for students in the Sultanate of Oman, using a quantitative questionnaire with face-to-face semi-structured interviews. Students and teachers at Nizwa College of Technology and Salalah College of Technology participated in the study. Educational tools are widely used as part of instruction today, but they are still a relatively new aspect of education in this region. Accordingly, the findings of the study are relevant to educators in the Omani educational system, as well to educators of Arab learners in general. This study examines four specific educational tools, namely email, Facebook, instant messaging, and cell phones. The findings indicate that students and teachers agree on what is considered an educational tool but also lack information and knowledge of how to integrate them into their learning and teaching. This paper provides insight into the mindset of Omani/Arab learners and those educators responsible for integrating educational technology in the region.

The paper presents in descriptive form the characteristics of the implementation of Web 2.0 technologies in teaching and self-teaching of foreign languages. The object description are social networking services as well busuu.com and livemocha.com and an interface service eTwinning. The availability and popularity of these tools make teaching and learning of foreign languages changing their existing formulas developed in language pedagogy, integrating foreign language learning with the formation of some of the key competencies.

Omówione zostały między innymi: analiza czasoprzestrzenna zdarzenia z udziałem pieszego, dokumentacja miejsca zdarzenia drogowego, modelowanie potrącenia pieszego jako obiektu kinematycznego, zastosowanie metody Slibara w analizie potrąceń pieszych, pomiary 3D śladów zdarzenia drogowego z udziałem pieszych, modelowanie 3D w analizie najechania na ciało człowieka, wizualizacja anatomicznego kształtu i położenia ciała człowieka, wizualizacja naturalnego ruchu ciała człowieka, model wielobryłowy ciała człowieka w programie symulacyjnym V-SIM, możliwość eksperymentalnego sprawdzenia zachowania ciała ludzkiego w trakcie różnego rodzaju wypadków drogowych. Ponadto przedstawiono kierunki przyszłego rozwoju modelu wielobryłowego ciała człowieka zastosowanego w programie V-SIM 5.0, a także nowe funkcjonalności, które będzie posiadał oraz nowe możliwości zastosowania.
Various potential applications of the solutions developed over the years by the CYBID company, along with the characteristics of their limitations and possibilities in the documentation and analysis of road incidents involving pedestrians are presented. The discussion covers, inter alia: time-distance analysis of an incident involving a pedestrian, documentation of the road accident scene, modeling of hitting a pedestrian as a kinematic object, application of the Slibar method in the analysis of pedestrian hits, 3D measurements of traces of a road accident involving pedestrians, 3D modeling in the analysis of vehicle running over a human body, visualization of the anatomical shape and position of a human body, visualization of the natural movement of the human body, a multibody model of the human body in the V-SIM simulation program, possibility of experimentally checking the behavior of the human body during various types of road accidents. Directions for the future development of the multibody model of the human body used in the V-SIM 5.0 program, including its new functionalities and new potential uses are also presented.

Opis:
Nieustanny rozwój technologii komunikacyjno-informacyjnych stwarza edukacji coraz to nowsze możliwości. Daje szybki dostęp do informacji i możliwość korzystania z gamy różnorod-nych źródeł oraz nieograniczonych zasobów dostępnych w sieci. Celem artykułu jest pokazanie możliwości wykorzystania narzędzi Web. 2.0. w naukach o zarządzaniu. Zaprezentowano w nim narzędzia technologii Web 2.0, oparte przede wszystkim na bezpośredniej wymianie wiedzy między użytkownikami Internetu. Począwszy od aplikacji umożliwiających kontakt i komunikację z innymi użytkownikami sieci oraz wspólną pracę na odległość, z wykorzystaniem różnego rodzaju aplikacji, a skończywszy na możliwościach publikowania i promowania swoich wytworów. Takie wykorzystanie nowych technologii daje szanse studentom zarządzania rozwijania zdolności poznawczych, pracy w grupach, czy zdalnego prezentowania własnych opinii szerszemu gronu uczestników i czyni ich bardziej atrakcyjnymi na rynku pracy.
Continual development of communicational and informational technology creates the new possibilities to education. It enables quick access to information from the wide range of different sources and unlimited web resources. The aim of this article is to demonstrate using Web 2.0 tools in management education. It presents Web 2.0 technology tools based on direct exchange among Internet users. Starting from application which enables them communication and distance common work using different kinds of application to opportunity of publishing and promotion of their own creations. Such usage of the new technology gives the management students an opportunity to develop their cognitive abilities, work in groups, present their own opinions to wide range of participators and make them more attractive at the work market.

Celem artykułu jest prezentacja wstępnych badań empirycznych dotyczących obecności parafii we współczesnej przestrzeni wirtualnej. Rozwój technologiczny, którego naoczną egzemplifikacją jest społeczny wymiar Internetu, zmienił postrzeganie i zmodyfikował rytuały codzienności. Determinizm technologiczny, definiowany współcześnie jako znaczący wpływ technologii i rozwoju technologicznego na rozwój społeczny, jest w niektórych kręgach naukowych uznawany za dominującą instrukcję wyjaśniającą rewolucję cyfrową i relatywnie szybką absorpcję nowych mediów przez szerokie masy społeczne. Dodatkowo trwającaod 2020 roku pandemia wirusa SARS-CoV-2 jeszcze mocniej zaakcentowała potrzebę wykorzystywania mediów i technologii w codziennym życiu wspólnot parafialnych. W artykule zaprezentowano badania przeprowadzone na grupie 214 respondentów obejmujące problematykę funkcjonowania wspólnot parafialnych w przestrzeni wirtualnej i oceny działań przez respondentów.
The aim of the article is to present preliminary empirical research on the presence of parishes in contemporary virtual space. Technological development, the visual estimation of which is the social dimension of the Internet, has changed the perception and modified the rituals of everyday life. Technological determinism, defined today as a significant impact of technology and technological development on social development, is in some scientific circles considered the dominant instruction explaining the digital revolution and the relatively quick absorption of new media by wide social masses. In addition, the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic since 2020 has further emphasized the need to use media and technology in the daily life of parish communities. The article presents research carried out on a group of 214 respondents, covering the issues of the functioning of parish communities in the virtual space and the assessment of activities by respondents.
