    Let us assume that some businessmen wish to have a meeting. For this to happen, they usually have to meet somewhere. If they cannot meet physically, then they can take part in a video (or audio) conference to discuss whatever needs to be discussed. But what if their meeting is meant to be private? In this case they need a cryptographic protocol that allows them to exchange their ideas remotely, while keeping them secure from any potential eavesdropper. In this paper we list all the necessary requirements that a cryptographic protocol must have in order to allow several businessmen to exchange their ideas securely over the Internet. Moreover, and based on the standard taxonomy of cryptographic protocols, we suggest several approaches on how to design cryptographic protocols that enable us to achieve our aim. Finally, we propose the design of a protocol that solves the meeting businessmen problem.

    Obecna sytuacja epidemiologiczna spowodowała wiele zmian we wszystkich sferach naszego życia. Jedną z nich jest edukacja, zarówno dzieci, ale także dorosłych, którzy w czasie studiów próbują nie tylko zdobyć wykształcenie i ukierunkowanie do przyszłej pracy zawodowej, ale także poszerzyć swoje horyzonty i zdobyć umiejętności, niezbędne w życiu. Z powodu obostrzeń epidemiologicznych edukacja została przeniesiona do Internetu, a bezpośrednikontakt z nauczycielem zamieniony został na wirtualny, który utrudnia interakcje pomiędzy nauczycielem a uczniem. Jednakże to nie są nasze - nauczycieli pierwsze kroki w edukacji za pomocą Internetu. W poniższym tekście zaprezentowany jest przykład wideokonferencji, która odbyła się jeszcze przed pandemią. Nie jest to typowe nauczanie za pomocą platformy edukacyjnej, gdyż studenci byli zgromadzeni w jednej sali. Połączenie odbyło się telefonicznie poprzez Skype. Jednakże internetowy kontakt z nauczycielem przypomina współczesne metody nauczania zdalnego. Poniższy tekst obrazuje, jak można nauczać streetworkingu za pomocą Internetu na podstawie przykładowych zajęć poprowadzonych dla grupy szwedzkich studentów. Obecnie jedyną możliwą formą kontaktu steetworkerów z dziećmi ulicy są media społecznościowe i różne komunikatory. Można więc powiedzieć, że sytuacja epidemiologiczna wymusiła zmianę pracy ulicznej na pracę w sieci. Zatem może streetworkerów trzeba także szkolić za pomocą Internetu. Konfrontując się z opisanym przykładem, czytelnik będzie mógł spróbować wyjaśnić tę wątpliwość.
    The current epidemiological situation has caused many changes in all spheres of our lives. One of them is education, both for children and also for adults, who during their studies try not only to get an education and orientation for their future professional work, but also to extend their horizons and acquire abilities, necessary in life. Due to the epidemiological restrictions, education has been transferred to the Internet and direct contact with the teacher has been replaced by a virtual one, which makes interaction between teacher and learner more difficult. However, these are not our teachers’ first steps in education via the Internet. The following text presents an example of a videoconference that took place even before the pandemic. It is not typical teaching via an educational platform, because the students were gathered in one room, and only the connection was made via Skype. However, the online contact with the teacher resembles modern remote teaching methods. The following text illustrates how streetworking can be taught via the Internet based on a sample class given to a group of Swedish students. Currently, the only form of contact with street children for streetworkers is through social media and different communicators. Therefore, it can be said that the epidemiological situation has forced a change from street work to online. So maybe streetworkers can also be trained via the Internet. Confronted with the described example, the reader will be able to try to explain this doubt.

    Artykuł dotyczy tematyki elektronizacji postępowania karnego. Autor stawia za cel przedstawienie dotychczasowych rozwiązań i ich funkcjonowania w praktyce z uwzględnieniem okresu ich wprowadzenia do Kodeksu postępowania karnego. Jako cezurę czasową wskazano kluczowe współczesne zagrożenie mające wpływ na sprawność prowadzenia postępowania, tj. pandemię COVID-19. Analiza ta prowadzi do wniosku, że dotychczasowe rozwiązania są szczątkowe i brak jest podejścia systemowego. Tym samym postępowanie karne pod względem elektronizacji znacząco odbiega od procedury cywilnej, gdzie reforma została rozpoczęta zdecydowanie wcześniej i miała szerszy zakres. W artykule wskazano na bariery, które mogą wpływać na spowolnienie albo zaniechanie wdrażania elektronizacji postępowania karnego, w tym bariery natury prawnej, natury i psychologicznej. Odniesiono się także do możliwości pokonania powyższych barier. W oparciu o dokonane analizy, Autor sformułował trzy kroki (etapy) elektronizacji postępowania karnego, wskazując na: krok pierwszy – elektronizacja czynności karnoprocesowych; krok drugi – elektronizacja rozprawy, posiedzeń i czynności dowodowych; krok trzeci – elektroniczne postępowanie nakazowe. Wskazane zostały także powiązania pomiędzy poszczególnymi etapami oraz kluczowe przesłanki, od których uzależniono skuteczność i szybkość wdrożenia na każdym ze sformułowanych etapów.
    The article deals with the subject of electronicisation of criminal proceedings. The author aims to present the current solutions and their practical functioning, taking into account the period of their introduction to the Code of Criminal Procedure. The key contemporary threat affecting the efficiency of the procedure, i.e. the COVID-19 pandemic, was indicated as the time turning point. This analysis leads to the conclusion that the existing solutions are rudimentary and there is no systemic approach. Thus, in terms of digitization, criminal proceedings differ significantly from the civil procedure, where the reform was launched much earlier and had a wider scope. The article indicates barriers that may slow down or abandon the implementation of electronicisation of criminal proceedings, including barriers of a legal, training and psychological nature. The possibility of overcoming the above barriers was also referred to. Based on the analyzes, the author formulated three steps (stages) of digitization of criminal proceedings, pointing to: the first step – digitization of criminal procedure activities; second step – electronicisation of hearings, hearings and evidentiary activities; third step – electronic order for payment. The links between the individual stages and the key reasons for the effectiveness and speed of implementation at each of the formulated stages were also indicated.

    The presented paper describes the characteristics of a study conducted on Synchronous Virtual Classrooms (SVCs), virtual spaces which harbour such resources as videoconferences, shared desk-tops, etc. The main objective of the research was to assess teaching and methodological, communication and technological aspects of SVCs in e-learning processes. Empirical methodology of quantitative and descriptive nature was used; a questionnaire was designed to assess these issues with a sample of 116 university students from six different fields of study at the University of Extremadura. As a conclusion, we report that SVCs with a constructive methodology enhance students’ creativity, favour virtual collaborative work, promote critical and independent thought, and create alternative channels to stimulate students’ active participation by means of flexible and attractive interfaces.

    The article aims to analyze innovative solutions in the areas of virtualization and video communication within economic and social processes. Some general trends in computer-mediated communication have been identified. Our findings that confirm these trends relate to telework and new challenges in supporting religious practices. We see trends emerging that create entirely new opportunities to boost the efficiency of decision making and management processes in organizations and to support all kinds of social processes.
    Artykuł ma na celu analizę innowacyjnych rozwiązań w zakresie wirtualizacji i wideo komunikacji w ramach procesów gospodarczych i społecznych Zidentyfikowano trendy, które tworzą nowe możliwości w zakresie zwiększenia efektywności podejmowania decyzji, zarządzania procesami w organizacji i obsłudze różnego rodzaju procesów społecznych. Nasze badania, które potwierdzają te trendy odnoszą się do telepracy i nowych wyzwań w zakresie wspierania praktyk religijnych.

    Celem niniejszego artykułu jest analiza najnowszych regulacji dotyczących możliwości uczestnictwa i głosowania w zgromadzeniu wspólników przy wykorzystaniu środków komunikacji na odległość. Odniesiono się również do możliwych sposobów uczestnictwa przy wykorzystaniu środków komunikacji na odległość oraz technicznych wymogów organizacji tego typu zgromadzeń wspólników. Ponadto należy podkreślić, że szczególną uwagę poświęcono także zasadom wykonywania prawa głosu oraz protokołowaniu uchwał podjętych przy wykorzystaniu środków komunikacji elektronicznej.
    The purpose of this paper is to analyse the newest regulations concerning possibility to participate and vote in the general meeting of shareholders using means of distance communication. In the article pages that follow, there have been made references to the permissible ways to participate in the general meeting of shareholders using means of distance communication and to the technical requirements of the organisation of these types meetings as well. Furthermore, it should be emphasized that the particular attention was paid to the principles to realise voting rights and recording resolutions adopted using electronic communication means.

    This paper is a report in brief of the project that “Henri Coanda” Air Force Academy, in collaboration with partners from Poland and Bulgaria, carried out under the aegis of the Erasmus + program of the European Union by the end of 2018. The project was called Systems for Aerial Surveillance and Security (SASS). The project proposed the initiation of a process of uniformisation of competences necessary for the people involved in the field of aviation, namely obtaining a joint study plan for pilots, air traffic controllers, and air surveillance officers [3]. It opened the way for cooperation between the Air Force Academies that began a joint semester of study. Achieving the objectives of the project meant introducing an online teaching/learning system based on an e-learning platform. The e-learning features have been fully utilised through the introduction of a videoconference system that allows teaching/learning activities for professors/students at a distance. The completion of the project was carried out by evaluating the results obtained at different stages. The analysis was based on the feedback from the main target groups - students, teachers and beneficiaries of the graduates. Two periods of teacher and student mobility were required for evaluation and analysis. The students’ and teachers' opinions on the implementation of the curriculum by means of the e-learning platform were analysed in detail.

    In this age of informatics society, the rapid growth of the Internet has allowed the use of new computer technologies. They are increasingly used in many areas of life, such as work and education. Informatics tools open up new opportunities not only for entrepreneurs and job seekers, but also for all people, young and elderly, disabled or handicapped. They also affect the improvement of social inclusion, give the access to benefits, services and allow participating in regional or local politics.
