Organizacja kampanii w gminie Liszki dowiodła, że nawet w obszarach słabiej skomunikowanych transportem zbiorowym istnieje zapotrzebowanie na dostęp do danych o funkcjonowaniu usługi, a działania informacyjne, edukacyjne i marketingowe wpływają na wzrost świadomości mieszkańców odnośnie dostępnych opcji transportowych i zwiększają motywację w zakresie rezygnacji z samochodu. By wywołać istotne zmiany w zachowaniach komunikacyjnych muszą one jednak stanowić element szerszej strategii, związanej z jednoczesnym wdrażaniem działań organizacyjnych i inwestycyjnych.
The article presents process of realisation and results of the Active Marketing Campaign, promoting public transport service in the Liszki Municipality located near Cracow. An AMC is a direct marketing campaign informing current and potential passengers about general as well as personalized travel’s possibilities. Parallel to traditional information activities, interaction with users is ensured through the organization of meetings and events, as well as personal advice given by the mobility consultants. Organization of the campaign in the Liszki Municipality has proved, that even in the areas with poorer transport public service a demand for access to data about the service operation appears and the information, educational and marketing activities have an impact on the awareness rising as well as increase the motivation for giving up private car. However in order to reach significant changes these activities need to be implemented as an element of the broad strategy consisting of organizational and investment measures.

The presented results of research and their analysis allow to define a relationship between some indices of the availability of means of transport and the farmer's level of education. There is a small increase in the availability of means of transport ranging from 2.00 to 2.43 pieces with the average of 2.23 pieces. While in calculation per 100 ha of cultivated land, there is a nearly two-fold decrease (from 11.98 to 6.16) between the group with primary and higher education. The number of farms with loading and unloading devices increases together with a growing level of education - 29.41% for primary education and 42.85% for secondary education. Both in the quantitative structure and in the total load capacity, load box trailers are the most common equipment, on average 70.54% of the number and 82.38% of the load capacity and means of transport. Their share increases together with an increase in the level of education in both cases. On average, the largest number, i.e. 42,65% falls within the range from 3-5 tons of load capacity. Not much less, i.e. 39.49% falls within the lowest range, i.e. up to 3 tons and their share decreases considerably in this group together with an increase in the level of their education.
Przedstawione wyniki badań ich analiza pozwalają stwierdzić, iż niektóre wskaźniki wyposażenia w środki transportowe wykazują pewien związek z poziomem wykształcenia rolnika. Wyposażenie w środki transportowe przy średniej 2,23 sztuki wykazuje w miarę wzrostu poziomu wykształcenia niewielki wzrost od 2,00 do 2,43 sztuki. Natomiast w przeliczeniu na 100 ha UR pomiędzy grupą o wykształceniu podstawowym a wyższym występuje prawie dwukrotny spadek (od 11,98 do 6,16). Ilość gospodarstw posiadających urządzenia za- i wyładunkowe rożnie w miarę wzrostu poziomu wykształcenia podstawowe 29,41% i wyższe 42,85%. Zarówno w strukturze ilościowej jak i ładowności całkowitej środkiem o najwyższym udziale są przyczepy skrzyniowe średnio 70,54% ilości i 82,38% ładowności środków. W obydwu przypadkach w miarę wzrostu poziomu wykształcenia następuje wzrost ich udziału. średnio najwięcej środków, bo 42,65% mieści się w przedziale 3-5 ton ładowności. Niewiele mniej, bo 39,49% znajduje się w przedziale najmniejszym, tj. do 3 ton i w tej grupie w miarę wzrostu poziomu wykształcenia ich udział znacznie maleje.

Objectives Heavy vehicle transport workers have a high risk of obesity and obesity-related disorders including cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Sedentary nature of their work makes a healthy work and lifestyle balance difficult to achieve. Educational interventions that promote behavioral changes have been shown to be effective in various group settings. The aims of this study were to determine the prevalence of metabolic risk factors among a population of urban bus drivers; to deliver a 3-month educational intervention specifically tailored for the workplace environment of transport workers; and to evaluate the efficacy of the intervention through quantitative measurements and qualitative feedback. Material and Methods Thirty-three bus drivers from depots in south Queensland were recruited for the study. Baseline metabolic data were collected through anthropometric measurements, blood collection and diet/lifestyle questionnaires. Metabolic risk factors that were analyzed included: waist circumference, blood pressure, fasting glucose, blood triglycerides and high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C). Three interactive seminars were delivered over a 3-month period. At the end of the period, data collection was repeated. Results At the commencement of the study, 35% of the participants exhibited ≥ 3 of the metabolic risk factors that characterize metabolic syndrome. This is higher than the reported prevalence in the general Australian population (22.1%). A total 21 of the 33 participants remained committed to the intervention and provided pre and post intervention data. Of these, 28% (N = 6) showed a decrease in one or more of the risk factors associated with metabolic syndrome. There was a significant increase in the average HDL-C after the intervention. Qualitative feedback indicated that the workers benefited from the program, especially regarding their awareness of the risks associated with their profession. Conclusions This pilot study demonstrates that lifestyle education seminars specifically tailored for the workplace can have an impact on the health behaviors of transport workers.

Program of training course conducted at the Faculty of Transport of the Silesian University of Technology has been presented in this paper. The courses have been intended for students who want to be better prepared to take up an employment. Some trainings are carried out together with employers. Problems in the implementation of training course and prospect of their further development have been presented.

Dalekosiężne cele komunikacji i transportu są integracją myślenia o ruchu drogowym, działania operacyjnego, sytuacyjnego i strategicznego tworzącego: percepcję, uwagę, pamięć i myślenie, pozwalające tworzyć całość, przewidywanie, ideacje i konkretyzacje powodujące zmiany znaczeniowe i proceduralne w torach emocjonalnych, intelektualnych i motorycznych. Nasze działanie i myślenie można przygotować przez dostosowanie do nadchodzącej przyszłości. Wolna wola i swoboda jest ograniczona rozumieniem ograniczeń materialnych, intelektualnych i duchowych: jest w naszym władaniu i może wytworzyć dobro lub zło, bezpieczeństwo lub katastrofę ludzkości, świadomość lub niewiedzę. Edukacja jest nadzieją na dalekosiężną przyszłość. Krótkowzroczność, brak wiedzy i przewidywania jest chorobą naszych czasów. Komunikacja i transport jako ruch przenosi nas z niepewności w przewidywanie oraz w celne dopasowywanie wiedzy i umiejętności do zmieniającej się realności naszego otoczenia. Skuteczne plany, kreatywność, prowadzenie nowych technologii transportowych i ruchu o różnej modalności transportu, prowadzą do przemieszczeń tworzących wspólne budowanie i powiązania społeczne. Duma z nowoczesnych technologii transportowych i opracowań tworzy nowoczesność i współpracę społeczną, tworzy też integrację budującą. Przewidywanie i prognozowanie indywidualne i społeczne są szansą na przetrwanie, pokonanie kataklizmów i błędów cywilizacji. Z kolei niedoskonałość nowych celów rozwoju i racjonalizacji gospodarowania ziemią, tworzy brak szans na przetrwanie i na kreślenie wyobrażeń strategicznych. Nieuporządkowanie myślenia i przewidywania odnośnie do transportu zmniejsza szanse na rozwój i przeżycie ludzkości. Rozwój pedagogiki i psychologii transportu tworzy szanse na pomyślne życie, pozwala na tworzenia wartości nowych, umiejętności upraktycznionych, upraktycznionej wiedzy proceduralnej i strategii w realnych warunkach ekologicznych, zdrowotnych i psychospołecznych, w jakich funkcjonują ludzie.
The long-term goals of communication and transport are the integration of thinking about traffic, operational behavior, situational and strategic actions creating: perceptions, attention, memory and thinking, allowing to create the whole, prediction, ideation and concretization causing changes in meaning and procedures in the emotional and motor tracks of human intellectual activity. Our actions and thinking can be prepared by adapting to the future. Free will and freedom is limited by the understanding of material, intellectual and spiritual limitations: it is in our possession and can produce good or evil, security or catastrophe of humanity, consciousness or ignorance. Education is hope for a far-reaching future. Myopia, lack of knowledge and inability to predict is a disease of our time. Communication and transport, as a move, move us from uncertainty into anticipation and accurate matching of knowledge and skills to the changing reality of our environment. Effective plans, creativity, introduction of new transport technologies and traffic with different transport modalities lead to displacements creating joint building and social connections. Pride in modern transport technologies and studies, creates modernity and social cooperation, and creates fruitful  integration. Individual and social prediction and forecasting are a chance to survive, overcome cataclysms and civilization errors. In turn, the imperfection of new development goals and lack of rationalization of land management, creates a lack of opportunities for survival and for drawing strategic ideas. Disorderly thinking and anticipation about transport reduces the chances of humanity's development and survival. The development of transport pedagogy and transport psychology creates opportunities for a successful life, which allows creating new values, practical skills, practical procedural knowledge and strategies in real ecological, health and psychosocial conditions in which people operate.

The study presents the results of research on the use of the production capacity of means of transport in the context of the farm owner's education. The availability of tractors per 100 ha of cultivated land clearly decreases with the growing level of education. A similar tendency is shown by the availability of means of transport in pieces per farm. In all designated groups of the level of education, dropside trailers have the highest share. In general, it can be stated that the annual use and the related use of the production capacity on all kinds of the analysed means of transport is low and it does not show a clear relationship with the level of education. The annual average come as: tractors 5,27%, load box trailers 4,75%, trucks 4,53%.
Przedstawiono wyniki badan dotyczących wykorzystania zdolności produkcyjnych środków transportowych w kontekście wykształcenia właściciela gospodarstwa. Wyposażenie w ciągniki w przeliczeniu na 100 ha UR wyraźnie maleje w miarę wzrostu poziomu wykształcenia. Podobna tendencje wykazuje wyposażenie w środki transportowe w sztukach na gospodarstwo. We wszystkich wydzielonych grupach poziomu wykształcenia największy udział maja przyczepy skrzyniowe. Generalnie można stwierdzić, iż roczne wykorzystanie i związane z tym wykorzystanie zdolności produkcyjnych we wszystkich rodzajach analizowanych środków jest niskie i nie wykazuje wyraźnego związku z poziomem wykształcenia. Średnio rocznie wynosi: ciągniki 5,27%, przyczepy 4,75%, samochody ciężarowe 4,53%.

Uczelniom wyższym coraz częściej przypisuje się rolę liderów zmian na rzecz realizacji idei zrównoważonego rozwoju, w tym zrównoważonej mobilności. Działania prowadzone przez ośrodki akademickie powinny iść w parze z inicjatywami w ramach miejskiej i regionalnej polityki zrównoważonego rozwoju transportu. Dotychczasowe badania w tym zakresie koncentrują się przeważnie na studiach przypadku poszczególnych uniwersytetów, głównie pod kątem prowadzonych przez nie działań oraz ich skuteczności. Nieliczne studia porównawcze dotyczą mobilności społeczności akademickiej uniwersytetów publicznych. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest określenie, czy i w jakim stopniu występują różnice pomiędzy studentami uczelni prywatnej oraz studentami uczelni publicznej we Wrocławiu w zakresie podstawowych czynników determinujących wybory transportowe, preferowanych sposobów dojazdu do kampusów, a także satysfakcji z podróży i znaczenia poszczególnych postulatów transportowych. Analizę wyników przeprowadzonych badań ankietowych oparto na teście chi-kwadrat Pearsona, teście V Kramera, porównaniu median i częstości odpowiedzi. Zidentyfikowane różnice w badanych aspektach zachowań transportowych posłużyły sformułowaniu wytycznych dla miejskiej i regionalnej polityki zrównoważonego transportu.
Nowadays, colleges of higher education are more and more often attributed the role of a leader of changes towards the achievement of the idea of sustainable development, including sustainable mobility. Activities conducted by universities should be complementary to initiatives undertaken within urban and regional sustainable transport policies. The research to date has focused mostly on case studies of different universities, mainly in terms of conducted actions and their effectiveness. Only a few studies compare student mobility in the case of public universities. The goal of this paper is to investigate whether there are differences between students of one private and students of one public university in Wrocław regarding basic factors which determine transport choices, preferred means of transport, as well as satisfaction with communting and the meaning of different transport demands. The analysis of survey results was based on the Pearson chi-square test and V Cramer test, comparison of medians and frequencies of answers. The identified differences in the studied aspects of transport behaviour were used to formulate recommendations for the urban and regional sustainable transport policies.

Niniejszy artykuł, odwołując się do współczesnych koncepcji rozwoju obszarów zurbanizowanych i zarządzania terytorialnego na terenach wielkomiejskich (metropolitalnych), ma na celu analizę relacji funkcjonalnych i przestrzennych, jakie zachodzą między miastem centralnym a suburbiami. Podjęta została próba spojrzenia na ich charakter i siłę z punktu widzenia zaawansowania procesów suburbanizacji oraz praktyki zarządzania i planowania w całym regionie miejskim. Jako studium przypadku analizie poddano aglomerację poznańską, gdzie silnej suburbanizacji, rezydencjalnej i gospodarczej, towarzyszą zjawiska zarówno konkurencji jak i współpracy międzygminnej. Głównym celem pracy jest ich identyfikacja w takich dziedzinach, jak: planowanie przestrzenne, transport publiczny i usługi edukacyjne.
The paper, referring to the contemporary concepts of development of urbanized areas and territorial governance in metropolitan areas, aims to analyze the functional and spatial relations that occur between the central city and suburbs. The attempt has been made to look at their character and strength from the point of view of the advancement of suburbanization processes as well as management and planning practices throughout the urban region. As a case study, the Poznań agglomeration was analyzed, where strong residential and economic suburbanization is accompanied by inter-municipal competition and cooperation. The main goal of the work is to identify them in areas such as spatial planning, public transport and educational services.

Artykuł opisuje działania edukacyjne na rzecz poprawy bezpieczeństwa w ruchu drogowym podejmowane przez Inspekcję Transportu Drogowego. Budowanie świadomości społecznej powinno rozpoczynać się już od najmłodszych lat i angażować różne instytucje państwa, nie tylko szkołę. Autorzy omawiają wychodzące z tego założenia działania Inspekcji Transportu Drogowego, takie jak „Bezpieczna Szkoła Krokodylka Tirka”, lekcje bezpieczeństwa w szpitalach, szkołach średnich, a także prelekcje podczas konferencji, targów czy wydarzeń branży transportu, logistyki i spedycji. Aktywność Inspekcji Transportu Drogowego pod kątem zaangażowania w akcje edukacyjne i kampanie medialne dotyczące kultury bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego została również pokrótce omówiona w perspektywie lat 2018–2020, co ukazuje dynamikę rozwoju formacji na tym polu. Analiza pozwala stwierdzić, że w działaniach edukacyjnych Inspekcji Transportu Drogowego szczególnie cenne jest łączenie teorii i praktyki oraz dzielenie się przez funkcjonariuszy fachową i popartą doświadczeniem zawodowym wiedzą ze słuchaczami w różnym wieku. Wyzwaniem zaś, częściowo już podjętym, pozostaje konieczność przeniesienia aktywności do Internetu z powodu pandemii koronawirusa.
The aim of this article is to describe educational activities concerning improvement of road safety taken by the [Polish] Road Transport Inspection. In order to build awareness of our society some actions should be taken at the earliest age and involve many different institutions, not only schools. The authors show how the Road Transport Inspection fulfils this assumption by creating “Bezpieczna Szkoła Krokodylka Tirka” (‘Crocodile Tirek's School of Safety’), organising lessons about road safety in hospitals, high schools or lectures on conferences, fairs and other events concerning transportation, logistics and shipping. The Engagement of the Road Transport Inspection in education and media campaigns involving road safety has been discussed in the range of years 2018-2020 and it shows the dynamic development of the unit on this field. Our analysis indicates that the most effective in education is combination of both theory and practise or sharing by officers, their knowledge and work experience with the audience. The biggest challenge, on the contrary, is to bring all this activities to the Internet, which is necessary especially because of coronavirus pandemic.

Opis:
The aim of the paper is to present the principles of development and evaluation of educational programs and teaching aids assigned for school education of children in the range of road safety. The basis for developing road safety educational programs is determining the goals resulting from analysis of road accident data, dangers, behaviour observations and development stages of specific traffic participants, and also needs (expectations) of the society. It is crucial for these programs to have a modular structure, which enables the realization of each module by different persons, or the exchange of particular module without the necessity of changing the whole program. Classes in the field of forming skills and behaviours should be organized in the real road traffic. Road safety educational programs and teaching aids should be the subject of evaluation with the use of adequate methods and research tools, such as: inquiry, questionnaire, knowledge testing, risk awareness testing, behaviour testing, behaviour observations, road accidents data in order to maintain effectiveness and minimize the time, effort and costs regarding elaboration and implementation. Questions, which need to be answered at the evaluation stage, depend on whether the evaluation is connected with full implementation of the program or with the program in the elaboration stage and also on the stage of its elaboration. At the early stages of program's elaboration simple evaluation on small scale is crucial, while for the implemented programs or fully elaborated ones it is inevitable to have broader evaluation at applying criteria regarding behaviours and accidents. Currently, since children's education in the field of road traffic safety can be realized in schools based on the programs that have been accepted by the Ministry of National Education as well as based on the authorial programs designed by teachers, it is necessary to comply with the specific procedures and principles at development and implementation stages.

In the paper the Author tries to present the background to e-Navigation and its definition, the key elements which in the vision for e-Navigation were covered and the IMO's strength as the co-ordinator of e-Navigation, including strategy implementation plan. The underlying important principles were stated, together with the need to take user needs into account. Recent presentations and comments showed just how ambiguous the term „users? can be in the context of e-Navigation. This led to a more in depth review of the components of the IMO Strategy Implementation Plan. The author tries to answer the question of whether these assumptions, decisions and actions taken were appropriate and sufficient. The author asks the simple question whether the mere adoption and introduction of the concept of e-Navigation in life will be enough to meet all the challenges of the twenty-first century.
