В статье рассматриваются вопросы оптимизации системы внутренных кооперативных связей в многоцеховом предприятии мебельной промышленности. Представленные математические модели основаны на принципах линейного программирования и позволяют минимизовать стоимости кооперационного транспорта в многоцеховом предприятии мебельной промышленности. Рассматривается проблема минимизации стоимостей транспорта для случаев радиусного и окружного транспорта, а также для неоднородных транспортов и подбора используемого транспортного средства к спроектированной заранее оптимальной структуры транспортов. Результаты рассматриваемой работы могут использовываться в многоцеховых предприятиях мебельной промышленности пользующихся центрами электронной вычистительной техники.
The problem of optimization of the system of internal cooperation connections in many-factor works of the furniture industry is discussed in the paper. The presented mathematical models are based on the linear programming principles and allow to minimize the cooperative transport costs for the case of radial and circumferential transport, transport of unequal goods and to select the applied transport means for preliminarily designed optimal structure of the transport. The present work can be of use in many-factory enterprise of the furniture industry making use of the ECT centres.

В статье проводится оценка пригодности однокритериевого метода оптимизации структуры транспорта продуктов внутренней кооперации с точки зрения ее пригодности в процессе принятия хозяйственных решений в многоцеховом предприятии мебельной промышленности. Была проведена также проверка метода оптимизации структуры кооперационного транспорта для системы радиального и окружного транспорта, а также метода оценки разных вариантов локализации производственной базы. Проверка позволила определить процедуру подготовки исходных данных для расчетов, подтвердила правильность построенных математических мвделей и указала на дополнительные условия и адаптационные возможности.
Suitability of the one-criterion optimization method of the transport structure of inner cooperation products from the viewpoint of its usefulness in the process of taking economic decisions in a many-factory furniture industry enterprise is estimated in the paper. Also verification of the optimization method of structure of the cooperative transport for the system of radial and circumferential transport as well as the estimation method of different variants of location of the production base has been performed. This verification enabled to determine the procedure of preparation of input data for calculation, confirmed correctness of the constructed mathematical models and indicated additional conditions and adaptational possibilities.

Road safety was and still is one of the real hazards for human society all over the world. In order to manage the problem of excessive road death toll at the both sides of Atlantic two independent initiatives were started in 1970 in the USA in the US Department of Transportation. The paper describes the genesis of intergovernmental European initiative named EEVC, its history, participants and scope of former and current scientific research related to improvements in vehicle design safety. The work was started from the careful analysis of accident statistics data including the severity of accident. The important feature of EEVC working groups is participation of car industry researchers enabling wide verification of scientific achievements. For specific items, it is also shown the practical profit based on knowledge coming from EEVC research. Most important items resolved by EEVC were in-depth study of multidirectional impact mechanics, development of anthropometric dummies, pedestrian safety, passive/active safety interaction, rear under run protection etc. The influence of change in vehicle design appears important for all road users the vulnerable persons including. The relation to other similar international initiatives was pointed together with the future direction of activity and relation to National and International (UN ECE and EC) legislative bodies. The Polish input to EEVC research was described since in 2002 Poland started its participation.

Companies are facing problems regarding reduction of their logistics costs. Good organization of transport processes can bring a lot of profits both economical and environmental. Companies participating in transport processes more often prefer to create temporary relations and form virtual cooperation networks than to keep traditional long-term contracts. The paper first defined problems of multimodal transport. The obstacles to development of virtual transport clusters are described. The main problems and requirements of the virtual cooperation in the area of transport processes are identified. The aim of the paper is to present the scope of information needed for the coordination of virtual transport clusters. Author describes approach to information management in virtual cluster based on agent technology.

The economy is constantly changing and therefore companies look for ways to cut the costs of their current business activities. Lowering the costs of logistics, especially costs of transport, is essential for many companies. To achieve this aim they must have innovative knowledge concerning logistics management. Publication present T-Scale platform which conception can leads to reduce cost of transport. There were described platform functionality as well as benefits to the companies as a resulting of using T-Scale application.

Polish regions bordering with regions of the other EU Member States are currently facing new development challenges. Inter alia a perspective of joint activities within the European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation is wide open. In the paper an innovation approach to modelling and coordination of intermodal network is given. The main aim of the carried out research was to create the solution, which would eliminate existing barriers concerning development on intermodal haulages. Moreover, created solution takes into consideration strong relations between actors involved in transport processes and the transport system of the region/country. Based on the carried out direct interviews and series of workshops with the industry, the need for coordinated and innovative approach to the intermodal issues were identified. Coordination applies to all intermodal processes executed by group of interested, independent companies, organisation of business and public administration. The aim of the paper is to present the concept of the polish intermodal cluster carried out by the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing in Poznan based on the real market expectations.

A logistics centre is a spacious area with appropriate organization and infrastructure allowing various independent entrepreneurs to perform actions on the cargo flow, related to its storage and movement between senders and receivers, including support services for intermodal transport and performing tasks with the resources used for these purposes. Any model of cooperation between enterprises involved in the design and implementation of set goals and the investment in a logistics centre includes a number of common stages, with the exception of the initial phases of cooperation. The stages of the implementation of cooperation include planning the scope of work, negotiation and the signing of the agreement, implementation and its associated supervision, continuation and finally modification or termination of cooperation. In this article, the various stages of cooperation of companies participating in this project are analysed individually. General scheme of the planning area and equipment, a model of the design, the planning phase of the logistics centre; the stage of implementation and control and stage of summarizing cooperation; the location of logistics centres from a micro-spatial aspects are presented in the paper.

Współpraca outsourcingowa przedsiębiorstwa zlecającego i świadczącego usługi transportu kolejowego obejmuje wiele etapów, w większości wspólnych dla obu partnerów z wyjątkiem początkowych faz współpracy. Etapy realizacji współpracy obejmują planowanie zakresu pracy, negocjacje i podpisanie umowy, realizację i związaną z nią kontrolę, kontynuację, modyfikację lub zakończenie współpracy. W artykule przeanalizowano poszczególne etapy współpracy outsourcingowej z uwzględnieniem schematu realizacji i kontroli usług transportu kolejowego ładunków oraz zidentyfikowano formy i kanały komunikowania partnerów outsourcingowych.
Outsourcing cooperation of the company that commissions and provides the rail transport services includes a number of stages, most often common for both partners, with the exception of initial phases of cooperation. Stages of cooperation include planning of the scope of work, negotiations and signing the agreement, as well as implementation and associated control, continuation, modification or termination of cooperation. The article analyzes various stages of outsourcing cooperation including the scheme of implementation and the control of rail transport services of cargo and identifies the forms and channels of communication with outsourcing partners.

The discussion about competition and cooperation, especially for road transport, in the fields of pure competition, incomplete competition and sustainable market economy has the following results: In pure competition there is only price competition. There is no quality competition and no co-operation. Theoretical pure competition leads to equilibrium, but the conditions of pure competition have no relevance for practice. So it is clear, pure competition has no evidence for practice and cannot be used to ensure equilibrium in practice. In incomplete competition there is price, and quality competition as well as cooperation. But incomplete competition is not able to realize equilibrium neither in theory nor in practice. In sustainable market economy there is no price and no quality competition, but co-operation. It is possible to establish equilibria in theory and practice. But no state has realized sustainable market economy until now. Sustainable market economy without competition but with co-operation is a concept for road transport, because in this field we have already a lot of co-operation. It could be possible to ensure optimal market situations with equilibrium and optimal welfare.
W przypadku transportu samochodowego porusza się tematy czystej konkurencji, niepełnej konkurencji i zrównoważonej gospodarki rynkowej. W wyniku dyskusji na temat konkurencji i współpracy formułowane są następujące wnioski. W czystej konkurencji jest tylko konkurencja cenowa. Nie ma konkurencji pod względem jakości i współpracy. Teoretycznie czysta konkurencja prowadzi do równowagi, ale warunki czystej konkurencji nie mają odniesienia do praktyki. W niepełnej konkurencji występuje cenowa i jakościowa konkurencja oraz współpraca. Niekompletna konkurencja nie jest jednak w stanie stworzyć równowagi w teorii oraz w praktyce W zrównoważonej gospodarce rynkowej nie występuje cenowa i jakościowa konkurencja, ale jest współpraca. Istnieje możliwość uzyskania równowagi w teorii i w praktyce. Żadne państwo dotychczas nie zrealizowało zrównoważonej gospodarki rynkowej. Zrównoważona gospodarka rynkowa bez konkurencji, ale ze współpracą jest koncepcją dla transportu samochodowego, ponieważ w tej dziedzinie mamy już sporo przykładów współpracy. Istnieje możliwość zapewnienia optymalnej sytuacji rynkowej z zachowaniem równowagi i optymalną opieką.

Szacuje się, że do 2050 roku liczba mieszkańców miast wzrośnie do około 6 miliardów, tymczasem już dziś około 80% Europejczyków żyje na obszarach miejskich. Popularne wśród architektów hasło „miasta dla ludzi” w kontekście nieustannego wzrostu liczby mieszkańców miast zaczyna nabierać szerszego znaczenia. W związku z tym zachodzi konieczność bliższego przyjrzenia się relacjom między planowaniem zrównoważonej mobilności, a jakością życia mieszkańców określaną m.in. przez swobodę poruszania się kiedy, gdzie i jak chcą – niezależnie od wieku, dochodów czy stanu zdrowia. Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia założenia metodologiczne nowej koncepcji planowania zrównoważonej mobilności miejskiej, która w kontraście do tradycyjnego podejścia opiera się głównie na zaangażowaniu obywateli/interesariuszy oraz współpracy instytucjonalnej pomiędzy różnymi poziomami władz i zarządów oraz pomiędzy sąsiadującymi gminami. Autorzy przybliżyli na podstawie działań podejmowanych przez Gminę Miejską Kraków przykłady związane ze zwiększeniem partycypacji społecznej w planowaniu transportu oraz przykłady współpracy instytucjonalnej, która jest realizowana m.in. przez zespoły zadaniowe, powoływane w Urzędzie Miasta Krakowa na podstawie wniosków, wynikających z merytorycznych i uzasadnionych potrzeb.
It is estimated that by 2050, the urban population will increase to approx. 6 billion people, while nowadays about 80% of Europeans live in the urban areas. Slogan “city for people”, popular among architects, begins to have a broader meaning in the context of the continuous growth of the urban population. Therefore, it is necessary to look more closely at the relationship between planning of sustainable mobility and quality of life among residents, determined by the freedom of movement when, where and how they want - regardless of age, income or health status. This article presents a new concept of methodological principles of sustainable urban mobility planning, which in contrast to the traditional approach, relies heavily on the involvement of citizens and stakeholders and institutional cooperation between the different levels of government and management as well with neighboring municipalities. On the basis of the activities of the Municipality of Cracow the authors present examples associated with increased public participation in urban transport planning and examples of institutional cooperation, which is carried out, among others, by task forces appointed in the City of Cracow on the basis of the conclusions resulting from the substantive and legitimate needs.
