Celem badania przeprowadzonego przez autorkę było określenie wpływu wybranych cech (demograficznych, społecznych, ekonomicznych) na aktywność turystyczną osób z niepełnosprawnością. W badaniu wykorzystano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego, technikę ankiety rozdawanej i elektronicznej. Analiza treści kwestionariusza umożliwiła wytypowanie pytań wskazujących na aktywność turystyczną osób z niepełnosprawnością, dla których przeprowadzona została procedura badania związków między zmiennymi a wybranymi cechami charakteryzującymi respondentów.
The purpose of the study conducted by the author was to determine the impact of a group of selected characteristics on the tourist activity presented by people with disabilities. The method of a diagnostic survey and the technique of distributed and electronic questionnaire were used in the study. The analysis of the research questionnaire content allowed selecting questions (X variables) describing the specific aspect of tourism activity performed by the disabled for which a procedure based on analysing correlations between these variables and the characteristics of the respondents will be carried out.

Celem opracowania jest przedstawienie analizy dotyczącej aktywności turystycznej seniorów w Kielcach w latach 2015–2019. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na preferencje, motywy oraz ewentualne ograniczenia dotyczące podejmowania aktywności turystycznej przez osoby starsze. Przyjęto, że senior to osoba w wieku co najmniej 55 lat. W artykule prezentowane są wyniki badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych w 2020 r. wśród kieleckich seniorów (n = 371). Sporządzona analiza wykazała zależności między wiekiem, wykształceniem, sytuacją materialną oraz kondycją zdrowotną a aktywnością turystyczną osób starszych, a także dowiodła, że w dzisiejszych czasach aktywność ta jest dla seniorów bardzo istotnym elementem stylu życia.
The aim of this study is to determine the tourist activity of ‘senior citizens’ in Kielce in 2015–2019. Particular attention is paid to their preferences, motives and possible restrictions on tourism activity. It is assumed that a ‘senior citizen’ is a person at least 55 years old. The article presents the results of a survey conducted among ‘senior citizens’ from Kielce (n = 371) in 2020. The analysis showed significant dependencies between age, education, their financial and health conditions and tourist activity, and also showed that nowadays it is a very important element of their lifestyle.

Celem artykułu jest dokonanie oceny charakteru prawnego formy reglamentacji dostępu do działalności w zakresie organizowania imprez turystycznych (a także ułatwiania nabywania powiązanych usług turystycznych), jaką wprowadziła ustawa z 24.11.2017 r. o imprezach turystycznych i powiązanych usługach turystycznych. Forma tej reglamentacji w swej istocie nie różni się od tej, jaką przepisy ustawy z 6.03.2018 r. — Prawo przedsiębiorców (w skrócie u.P.p.) przewidują dla działalności regulowanej. Nie jest to jednak żadna z trzech form reglamentacji działalności gospodarczej uregulowanych w tej ustawie, chociaż obejmuje ona także wykonywanie działalności gospodarczej. Uregulowany w u.P.p. katalog form tej reglamentacji jest zatem w pewnym sensie niekompletny. Wykorzystanie przez ustawodawcę modelu działalności regulowanej na potrzeby systemu reglamentacji dostępu do działalności w zakresie organizowania imprez turystycznych i ułatwiania nabywania powiązanych usług turystycznych spowodowało, że powielone zostały nie tylko zalety, ale i wady wzorca.
The aim of the article is to assess the legal nature of the form of restricting access to activities in the field of organizing tourist events (as well as facilitating the purchase of linked travel services), which was introduced by the Act of 24 November 2017 on package travel and related travel services. The form of regulation of access to the above-mentioned activity does not, in essence, differ from that provided for in the provisions of the Entrepreneurs' Law Act in the case of regulated activity. However, it is not one of the three forms of regulation of economic activity known to the Law of Entrepreneurs, although it also includes the pursuit of economic activity. Therefore, it follows from the above that the catalog of forms of regulation of economic activity regulated by this Act is in some sense incomplete. The use of the regulated activity model by the legislator for the purposes of the system of restricting access to activities in the field of organizing tourist events and facilitating the purchase of related tourist services resulted in duplicating not only the advantages but also the disadvantages of the model.

The main purpose of the research is to determine the tourist activity and destinations of the Polish Argentines as exemplified by the residents of Buenos Aires. For this purpose, pilot surveys were conducted in 2018, thanks to which information was obtained regarding the duration of the journey, frequency of travelling, choice of the means of transport, way of travelling, who the Polish Argentines travel with, where they stop during the trip and what the main motives and travel destinations are. Buenos Aires is the main concentration of Polonia in Argentina, at the same time it is one of the largest Polish community centres located in South America. According to the Polish Embassy in Buenos Aires, it is estimated that about 18-20,000 people of Polish origin live only in the capital of Argentina. Among the Polish Argentines, recreational tourism dominates and the most important holiday region is the coast of La Plata. As confirmed by the conducted pilot surveys, Polish Argentines are active considering the aspect of tourism. About 40% of the respondents travel 2–3 times a year. Most people travel for cognitive and recreational purposes. Most of the respondents are people who organise their trips by themselves, and during the journeys they most often stay with friends and family.
Głównym celem badań jest określenie aktywności turystycznej argentyńskiej Polonii na przykładzie mieszkańców Buenos Aires. W 2017 i 2018 roku przeprowadzone zostały pilotażowe badania ankietowe, dzięki którym uzyskana została informacja dotycząca długości trwania podróży, częstotliwości podróżowania, wyboru środka transportu, sposobu organizacji podróży, tego, z kim argentyńska Polonia podróżuje, gdzie się zatrzymuje podczas podróży oraz jakie są główne motywy podróżowania. Buenos Aires jest głównym skupiskiem Polonii w Argentynie, jednocześnie jest to jeden z większych ośrodków polonijnych, mieszczących się Ameryce Południowej (Malinowski, 2005: 324). Jak podaje Ambasada Polski w Buenos Aires, szacuje się, że w samej stolicy Argentyny mieszka około 18–20 tys. osób pochodzenia polskiego. Wśród Polonii argentyńskiej dominuje turystyka wypoczynkowa, najważniejszym regionem wypoczynkowym jest wybrzeże La Platy. Na wybrzeżu tym dużą popularnością cieszą się kąpieliska Mar de Plata i Miramar (Kurek, 2011: 540). Jak wykazały przeprowadzone pilotażowe badania ankietowe, Polonia argentyńska jest aktywna turystycznie. Około 40 % ankietowanych podróżuje dwa–trzy razy w ciągu roku. Najwięcej osób podróżuje w celach poznawczych i wypoczynkowych. Większość ankietowanych to osoby, które organizują swoje podróże samodzielnie, a podczas podróży najchętniej zatrzymują się u rodziny i przyjaciół.

As a result of the global COVID-19 pandemic, we are facing challenges of the social and economic crisis. Its effects are difficult to estimate, but the impact on the tourism industry is undeniable. This is also true of the behavior of consumers of tourism services, whose attitudes towards travel are likely to change radically. The aim of the study presented in this article is to determine how Polish tourists have changed their travel plans and the way they organize their travels during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. The authors argue that the pandemic is an inhibitor of tourist activity. Data for the study were collected using an online pilot survey of 190 Polish adults. The first part of the questionnaire included general demographic questions about the respondents. The main part was divided into three sections related to COVID-19 and regarding: 1) changes in their occupational status and financial well-being, 2) their travel plans, and 3) their willingness to use peer-to-peer accommodation (e.g. Airbnb). The results show that the pandemic is not only an inhibitor of tourist activity, but can also trigger the substitution effect in the tourism market. Potential tourists can choose not to buy tourism services and instead spend their money on other forms of leisure (“external” substitution outside the tourist market) or can choose a more competitively priced tourism service (“internal” substitution). The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively affected the financial well-being and occupational status of some respondents and the vast majority of respondents have had to modify or cancel their holiday plans. While the pandemic may help to stimulate domestic tourism, the preference for self-organized holiday trips, expressed by the respondents, herald further problems of tour operators. Although the financial well-being of many respondents has deteriorated, the number of those interested in cheaper accommodation for future trips was much smaller compared to those who reported such a preference before the pandemic.

Turystyka ma charakter wielowymiarowy, dlatego jest rozpatrywana w różnych kontekstach, m.in. społecznym, ekonomicznym, psychologicznym, kulturowym oraz przestrzennym. Uczestnictwo w turystyce, a co się z tym wiąże – wybór destynacji turystycznych, to przedmiot niniejszego artykułu. Jego celem jest rozpoznanie determinant aktywności turystycznej i wyboru miejsc recepcji turystycznych wśród studentów uczelni województwa małopolskiego. Na potrzeby realizacji celu zostały przeprowadzone badania ankietowe wśród studentów.
In recent years, tourism has become a rapidly growing sector of the global economy. It is of great social and economic importance in both developing and developed countries. Tourism is multidimensional, which is why it is considered in various contexts, including social, economic, psychological, cultural and spatial. Participation in tourism, and thus the choice of tourist destinations will become the subject of the article. Its purpose will be to recognize the determinants of tourist activity and the choice of tourist reception destinations among students. For the purposes of this goal, student surveys will be conducted.

The considerations carried out in this article focus on the scope of regulation of undertaking (access to) activities in the field of organizing tourist events and facilitating the purchase of related tourist services in the part relating to the features of the activity covered by it. Entities operating in this area are subject to specific legal obligations, including requirement for obtaining an entry in the register. Business in question is no longer a regulated activity but the provisions regarding this activity apply to it. This study also deals with the consequences of this seemingly insignificant change in the nomenclature. These issues are presented against the background of EU regulations and selected EU Member States.

Ever greater numbers of people with disabilities feel the need to spend time actively, travel or just leave the house.The inner need alone is not, of course, the only condition for the occurrence of tourist activity. One prerequisiteis associated with access to information, and the other is the elimination of barriers at an architectural or sociallevel. Tourism is one of the most pleasant and diverse forms of rehabilitation, which fulfils many functions in thelife of a disabled person with a medical, biological, social or stimulating character. When engaging in tourism,people with disabilities take up the challenge of overcoming their own limitations on both physical and mentallevels. The aim of the article is to identify the functions of tourist activity in the lives of people with disabilities.

The aim of this article is to present biographical narratives about tourist destinations retained in memories of seniors from the period of their youth, i.e. the 60s, 70s and 80s of the last century. The author’s intention was to retrieve those distant memories during narrative interviews with respondents and use them to reconstruct information about tourist destinations. The respondents were not asked any specific questions about their holiday memories and were allowed to choose what they wanted to recall. The preferences revealed during the interviews resemble contemporary trends. It can therefore be concluded that despite the passage of time and all kinds of changes that have taken place over several decades, tourists are invariably attracted to the same destinations.

Subject and purpose of work: The aim of the conducted research and analyzes was the attempt to assess the impact of selected factors over tourist activity of people with disabilities and factors related to the immediate environment of people with disabilities Materials and methods: A total of 5 000 respondents were subjected to the quantitative research. Participants of the research were adults with legally recognized disabilities. In the research, there was used the method of a diagnostic survey. Results: Tourist activity of disabled people living in rural areas in Poland concerns only about 50% of respondents. Leaving the place of permanent residence in a free time is the most often declared by young and middle-aged people with higher, secondary and post-secondary education, professionally active, married people with mental and sensory disabilities. Conclusions: Factors stimulating participation in tourism are the level of education and professional activity of respondents. In the assessment of respondents the important factor is also a general family situation.

The aim of the study described in this article was to identify the main factors determining tourist and recreational activity of senior residents of Wrocław in the Wrocław Metropolis. The target population was defined as people aged 50 and older, following the publications of Statistics Poland and governmental documents. The study addressed spatial, socio-economic and demographic conditions of tourist and recreational activity of senior citizens. In order to verify the research hypothesis, the authors conducted a personal interview survey among 326 senior inhabitants of Wrocław. The authors hypothesised that tourist and recreational activity of senior residents of Wrocław in the tourist and recreation areas of Wrocław Metropolis was motivated by their desire to improve health through physical activity and learn about nature and culture. The study results confirm the main hypothesis. It was found that the key factors motivating people aged 50+ to take up tourist and recreational activity are the need to relax outdoors, including various forms of physical recreation and the desire to learn about nature and culture. The most frequently visited tourist and recreation area of Wrocław Metropolis turned out to be the Odra River Valley in the area of Wrocław and Wrocław city parks (mainly for one-day recreational activities) and the Barycz River Valley in the area of Żmigród indicated primarily as a destination for weekend trips.

Development of rural areas is largely affected by NGOs and local organization, a good example of which is the operation of Local Action Groups (LAGs). LAGs mainly stimulate development of rural areas by defining community needs. The goal of this study was to evaluate the activity of inhabitants of rural areas in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship within the scope of initiatives of selected LAGs. The study was based on secondary sources with queries of available information: documents of organizations, strategies, data obtained from the Central Statistical Office of Poland, database of the National Rural Network 2014–2020. Social activity was studied on the basis of information concerning finished projects from the period of 2014–2017 published on Facebook by LAGs in question. The time span comprised the period of 2007–2017. The study focused on 5 LAGs headquartered in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and located in its various parts. The areas of their activity are diversified in terms of environmental conditions and economic functions.
W procesie rozwoju obszarów wiejskich istotną rolę odgrywają organizacje pozarządowe i stowarzyszenia lokalne. Charakterystycznym przykładem takich inicjatyw są Lokalne Grupy Działania. Główną przesłanką działania LGD jest aktywizacja środowisk wiejskich w kierunku kształtowania rozwoju, poprzez sformułowanie potrzeb społeczności. Celem pracy jest ocena aktywności mieszkańców wsi woj. świętokrzyskiego w ramach inicjatyw podejmowanych przez wybrane LGD. W badaniu wykorzystano źródła wtórne dokonując kwerendy dostępnych materiałów: dokumentów stowarzyszeniowych, strategii, danych GUS, informacji z bazy Krajowej Sieci Obszarów Wiejskich 2014–2020. Aktywność społeczności lokalnej zbadano na podstawie informacji o zrealizowanych działaniach w latach 2014–2017, które zostały zamieszczone przez obrane LGD na portalu społecznościowym Facebook. Zakres czasowy analiz objął lata 2007–2017. W badaniu uwzględniono 5 LGD, które mają siedziby na terenie woj. świętokrzyskiego i są zlokalizowane w różnych jego częściach. Tereny objęte działaniem tych partnerstw są zróżnicowane pod względem warunków środowiskowych i charakteru pełnionych funkcji gospodarczych.

Opis:
The main objective of this paper is to identify chief areas and forms of one day leisure activity performed by Poznań Metropolis’ residents. A hypothesis was assumed that the dominant area of tourist holiday activity of interviewees is the Warta River Valley and its main creeks, and the most common form of activity is qualified tourism, nature-based tourism, physical recreation, relax and rest. Method used for hypothesis verification was a diagnostic survey, with a questionnaire interview. Research was conducted in the years 2015 and 2016, on about 1600 residents of the metropolis. The article has a research character and is about preferences in the area of using tourist holiday spaces of Poznań Metropolis. Practical implication of the article is to point out a level of activity in specific tourist holiday areas within the research scope, in order to classify these areas. Results confirmed both assumed theses. Main directions of one day recreation excursions are the Warta Valley and the valleys of rivers Główna and Cybina (especially near the Malta Lake). Preferred forms of tourist recreation are qualified tourism, nature, relaxation and physical recreation.

Opis:
The article deals with the problems of the activities of tour operators in Ukraine in the conditions of state regulation changes. The features of their functioning are determined taking into account the requirements of the regulatory framework for the regulation of tour operators` activities. The dynamics of the development of a network of subjects (entities) of tourism is analyzed. Attention is drawn to the current trends in the development of tour operators and travel agents’ activities in Ukraine. The author proposes directions for the revitalization of tour operators` activities in the market of inbound and domestic tourism.
Artykuł porusza problematykę działalności organizatorów turystycznych na Ukrainie w kontekście rozporządzeń państwowych. Specyfika ich funkcjonowania jest określana z uwzględnieniem wymogów ram regulacyjnych i legislacyjnych regulujących działalność organizatorów turystycznych. Analizowana jest dynamika rozwoju sieci podmiotów turystyki. Zwrócono uwagę na obecne tendencje rozwoju turystyki i biur podróży na Ukrainie. Autor proponuje kierunki rewitalizacji działalności organizatorów turystycznych na rynku turystyki przyjazdowej i krajowej.
