    Autorka podejmuje próbę wskazania charakterystycznych dla teorii psychoanalitycznej mechanizmów w procesie uczenia się – nauczania, ujętych po raz pierwszy w tym kontekście przez Annę Freud. Elementem integralnym pracy jest biografia pionierki psychoanalizy dziecięcej, a przede wszystkim innowacyjne metody kształcenia stosowane przez nią w utworzonej samodzielnie szkole (the Matchbox School). Głównym punktem prezentowanych treści staje się założenie, iż na postawy, jakie przyjmuje pedagog wobec swoich uczniów mają wpływ jego własne doświadczenia edukacyjne z dzieciństwa – zarówno te osadzone w rzeczywistości materialnej, jak również psychicznej. Zakończenie stanowi skrócona wersja studium przypadku obrazującego proces identyfikacji oraz jego konsekwencje dla relacji nauczyciel – uczeń.
    The author attempts to point out the mechanisms in the process of learning – teaching characteristic for the theory of psychoanalysis, which have been expressed in this context by Anna Freud. The integral element of the paper is the biography of the pioneer of the children’s psychoanalysis, especially the innovative methods of education applied by her in the independently created school (the Matchbox School). The main part of the presented content is the assumption that the attitudes of the pedagogue towards the students are affected by one’s own educational experiences from the childhood – both those rooted in the material reality, as well as in the psychological. The conclusion consists of an abridged version of a case study illustrating the process of identification and its consequences for the teacher – student relationship.

    ThThe 25th anniversary of the Department of Educational Studies is an inspiration for the author to return to the pedagogical events of 1993. The article by Mikołaj Kozakiewicz published this year contains warnings that the chances of Polish education after a major educational change after 1989 (democracy, pluralism, europeization) are lost, and anticipates their reversal. centralism, authoritarianism, ideological monism, the closing of Poland to Europe are coming back. These anxieties also appeared at the First National Pedagogical Congress in Rembertów in 1993, although the prevailing concern was whether pedagogy as science kept up with the great changes. At the same time, a new formation and a generation of academic pedagogues emerged at this Congress, undertaking new challenges of this time. Unfortunately, sociologists and intercultural psychologists studies have shown that the chances of great change have been educationally wasted, which is manifested in the low culture of everyday life of Poles and in the persistence of Polish perennial, negative social stereotypes.     Artykuł podejmuje analizę autotematycznej powieści Iana McEwana Atonement [Pokuta] z wykorzystaniem aparatu pojęciowego zapożyczonego z teorii psychoanalitycznej Jacques’a Lacana. McEwan nadaje swojej książce formę „powieści w powieści” napisanej przez Briony Tallis, starzejącą się pisarkę, chcącą odpokutować za popełniony w dzieciństwie błąd, który zmarnował życie jej siostry Cecylii oraz ukochanego siostry – Robbiego. Z myślą o pozyskaniu współczucia czytelnika, Briony przedstawia swoją własną postać w wieku 13 lat jako idealistyczne i niewinne dziecko, pozbawione ojcowskiego autorytetu i sterowane przez nieświadome struktury Porządku Symbolicznego. Cechujący dziewczynkę upór w dążeniu do porządku i sprawowania kontroli nad otaczającą ją rzeczywistością jest przejawem jej narcystycznej osobowości, która, jak twierdzi Freud, jest przymiotem każdego pisarza. Artykuł analizuje proces budowania przez Briony misternej fantazji ekspiacyjnej, która pozwala jej stworzyć nie tylko odpowiednią scenę spektaklu pokuty, ale umożliwia również wyznaczenie koordynatów własnego pragnienia jako artysty-pisarza.
    The paper endeavours to analyse Ian McEwan’s self-reflexive novel with the theoretical apparatus provided by the psychoanalytic theory of Jacques Lacan. McEwan designs his novel as a fictitious narrative written by Briony Tallis, an aging novelist who wishes to atone for the childhood blunder that ruined the lives of her sister, Cecilia, and her sister’s beloved, Robbie. In order to gain reader’s sympathy, Briony describes her thirteen-year-old self as an idealistic and innocent child, deprived of paternal guidance, governed by the unconscious structures of the Symbolic Order. The girl’s compulsive craving for order and for control of the reality around her is linked to her narcissistic constitution, which, as Freud suggests, proves an important quality in the creative writing process. The paper follows Briony’s efforts to devise an elaborate expiative fantasy which allows her not only to create the appropriate mise-en-scène of personal atonement, but also to establish the coordinates of her desire to achieve some purpose through her writing.

    Artykuł dotyczy dwóch modeli metodycznych inspirowanych klasyczną psychoanalizą freudowską oraz nowym modelem wypracowanym na gruncie amerykańskiej myśli neopsychoanalitycznej Ericha Fromma. Pierwszy model interpretacji patrzy na literaturę jako na transformację nieświadomego pragnienia w estetyczny kształt dzieła literackiego, drugi model szuka w niej krystalizacji nieświadomych struktur umysłu, natomiast trzeci – wprowadzony w artykule – traktuje literaturę na tle nieświadomości społecznej jako wyraz Idola, który został precyzyjnie zdefiniowany przez Fromma w 1990 roku.
    The paper deals with two method models inspired by the classical Freudian psychoanalysis and the new model developed on the basis of American neopsychoanalytical thought of Erich Fromm. The first model of interpretation looks at literature as a transformation of unconscious desire into the esthetic shape of literary work, the second model seeks in it a crystallization of unconscious structures of mind, whereas the third one – introduced in the paper – approaches literature against the background of the social unconsciousness as an expression of the Idol which was precisely defined by Fromm in 1990.

    Opis:
    The article reveals that the deep-psychological origins of the tendency to psychological death relate to the Oedipal period of the subject’s development. Emphasis is placed on the need to carry out in-depth psychocorrection to balance out the destructive tendencies of the psyche. The essence of the phenomenon of psychological death and its deep determinants are revealed in the article. The formation of an inclination to psychological death is associated with a traumatic childhood experience. It has been proven that this tendency is related to a psychological defence mechanism and can be considered a form of personal protection from a traumatic experience. A correlation between the tendency to psychological death and the attitude object, which manifests itself as negativism towards the world, has been revealed. The study concludes that it is advisable for future practicing psychologists to undergo psychocorrection of active social-psychological cognition to eliminate the tendency to psychological death.
    Artykuł ujawnia, że głębokie psychologiczne źródła skłonności do śmierci psychicznej wiążą się z okresem edypalnym rozwoju podmiotu. Nacisk kładziony jest na konieczność przeprowadzenia pogłębionej psychokorekcji, w celu wyrównania destrukcyjnych tendencji psychiki. Ujawniono istotę zjawiska śmierci psychicznej, a także ujawniono jego głębokie uwarunkowania, kształtowanie się skłonności do śmierci psychicznej, związanej z traumatycznym doświadczeniem z dzieciństwa. Udowodniono, że skłonność ta jest związana z psychologicznym mechanizmem obronnym i może być traktowana jako forma osobistej ochrony przed traumatycznym przeżyciem. Ujawniono korelację między skłonnością do śmierci psychicznej, a postawą obiektową, która przejawia się jako negatywizm wobec świata. W opracowaniu stwierdzono, że dla przyszłych praktykujących psychologów, wskazane jest poddanie się psychokorekcji czynnego poznania społeczno-psychologicznego, w celu usunięcia tendencji do psychologicznej śmierci.
