Opis:
Decydujący wpływ na skalę hossy na rynku surowców rolnych w latach 2007-2008 r. miały przede wszystkim czynniki finansowo-spekulacyjne. Rekordy cenowe biły nie tylko zboża, także ropa naftowa, metale czy kruszce. Po okresie szybkiego wzrostu oraz spadku cen następuje zazwyczaj okres szukania nowego poziomu równowagi, charakteryzujący się krótkookresowymi, dość gwałtownymi wahaniami cen. Według Amerykańskiego Departamentu Rolnego, zbiory zbóż na świecie (łącznie z ryżem) w sezonie 2009/2010 szacowane są na 2,196 mld ton wobec 2,231 mld ton sezon wcześniej. Podaż ziarna będzie jednak wyższa niż w 2008/2009 – wzrost z 2,592 mld ton do 2,641 mld ton. Większe będą też zapasy końcowe – wzrost z poziomu początkowego 444,9 mln ton do 451,5 mln ton. Konkurencja o rynki zbytu będzie wyjątkowo ostra również ze względu na mniejsze zapotrzebowanie na importowane ziarno ze strony kluczowych odbiorców. Wiele z tych krajów zanotowało bowiem bardzo dobre, rodzime zbiory. Dodatkowym czynnikiem mającym wpływ na handel będzie obecny kryzys na rynkach finansowych. Na rynku Unii Europejskiej bardzo istotnym czynnikiem mogącym mieć wpływ na rynek zbóż pozostaje skup interwencyjny. Tanie zboża mogą mieć znaczenie dla ożywienia i poprawy opłacalności produkcji mięsa i mleka. Wiele będzie zależało od popytu na te produkty, a więc od ogólnej koniunktury gospodarczej. W stabilizowaniu polskiego rynku zbóż coraz większą rolę mogą zacząć odgrywać biopaliwa i bioenergia zwłaszcza w warunkach systematycznego ograniczania wszelkich form interwencjonizmu na unijnym rynku zbóż. W Polsce ich produkcja wciąż znajduje na bardzo wczesnym etapie rozwoju.

Supply of grain will be however higher than in 2008/2009 -- the height with 2,592 bln tone to 2,641 bil. tone. Greater will be also closing stocks -- the height from first level 444,9 millions tone to 451,5 millions tone. The competition for marked will be exceptionally sharp also for smaller application on imported grain on the part of key-receivers. Many from these countries it noted as very good native yields. An additional factor having influence on the trade will be present crisis on financial markets. On the European Union market crucial actor to have influence on cereals market have interventional purchasing. Cheap cereals can count animations and improvements of profitability of meat and milk production. Many will be relative to demand on these products, so from the general business conditions. In stabilizing of the Polish market of cereals the more and more greater part can begin play biofuel and bioenergy especially conditioned of systematical stint of all forms of interventionism on the Union cereals market. In Poland their production continually finds on very early stage of development.

The paper discusses the issue of concentration of the retail food market in Poland. This phenomenon is dominated by the international operators of large-surface networks. However, the entities managing small-format networks are increasingly involved in it. The aim of the study is to identify and assess the multi-format nature of the concentration of this trade. The conducted analysis uses the results of own quantitative and qualitative research on the retail food market. The study includes the figures regarding the market as a whole, the results and data of particular networks and numerical analyses within commercial formats. The paper shows an ongoing process of market concentration with the participation of economic entities managing networks in all commercial formats in the years 2010-2017. Additionally, it was found that the intensity of this phenomenon presents a declining tendency, which results from the diversified structure of the retail food market in Poland.

The article presents selected aspects of the discussion about the conditions and consequences of global economic crisis in Polish sociology. The author argues that the relatively limited debate on the nature of the current crisis can be explained by two factors. Firstly, it is the consequence of the dominance of modernisation paradigm in the analysis of the Polish social transformation as well as the marginalisation of two sociologies: critical labour sociology and economic sociology. Secondly, drawing on research carried out by the author on working-class life strategies in the 2000s, the limited debate is the outcome of social “normalisation” and “adaptation” to crisis experiences in the Polish society. Despite the symptoms of collective “demobilisation” in the face of successive crises, adaptation to crises has its social limits. The discourse of global economic crisis contributes to new forms of collective mobilisation in the sphere of work and politics regardless of the dominance of individualistic coping strategies inherited from the first decades of transformation. The “counter-movement” taking place in Poland is expressed in trade union radicalisation and mobilisation of radical-nationalist movements. Both processes are interpreted by the author with the reference to Karl Polanyi’s work as the manifestations of self-defence of the society against the expansion of socially uncontrolled market mechanisms.

Opis:
The main purpose of the presentation is the reconstruction of the town square levels during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance based on archaeological excavations. The oldest settlement level found on the loess substratum (Level I) is represented by early medieval (8-11th century) stratigraphic layers. The thickness of functional level from the Middle Ages (Level II), since the second half of the 12th until 13/14th century, and the presence of a large number of sunken features shows that the town square was a commonly used area. An unusual level was the result of the process of levelling it with daub (Level III) in the first half of the 14th century. The late medieval level (Level IV) is connected with the construction of the town hall and the process of hardening the ground around it. Three levels of stone pavements covering the entire area of the town square can be found on the 16th century level (Level V).

This article attempts to analyse preparation of the Polish labour market to welcome migrant workers from outside the European Union. In addition to the numerous statistics showing the current state of the domestic labour market, the author focuses on aspects related to entering the job market by young people and their chances of getting a job. Also analysed is the readiness of Polish society to accept immigrants. The psychological acceptance of immigrants is an extremely important area, especially in the situation of mass inflow of workers from Ukraine, Belarus and other countries from post-Soviet Europe. According to official statistics over 2 million people came to Poland since 2014, which is the largest wave of immigration in the modern history of Poland. Current and adequate knowledge about the Polish labour market is only a starting point for undertaking work on the development of mechanisms to facilitate the immigrants not only the beginning of work, but also a happy life in Poland

Aim. The article aims to analyse the manifestations of information asymmetry in the market of educational services to develop proposals for improving the communication programmes of higher education institutions of Ukraine. Methods. The authors describe the display of information asymmetry in the market of educational services based on a sociological study among the 1st and 2nd-year students of Ukrainian universities, which aimed to study the criteria for choosing an educational programme. The authors used correlation analysis to assess the statistical significance of the influence of individual criteria on the selection of entrants. The survey was conducted at the universities in Ukraine that provide educational services on the bachelor’s degree specialities of 073 Management and 075 Marketing. A critical and comparative analysis of state regulatory measures to overcome information asymmetry was also applied. Results. The annual decrease in the number of university entrants in Ukraine and around the world has led to increased competition among universities, resulting in an escalation of information asymmetry in the market of educational services and its ‘lemonisation’. Conclusions. According to the results of the sociological study, despite the high availability of sources of information, at the time of entering the university, the vast majority of students did not consider themselves sufficiently informed about the benefits of studying in the chosen educational and professional programme. Several state regulatory measures have been taken to provide quality educational services in Ukraine and ensure unbiased information about universities. It was revealed that by allocating state-funded places for a specific speciality and university, the government significantly influences the choice of applicants. However, it should be noted that such impact is not very significant for applicants with high scores. Given this, the impact and effectiveness of both the state regulation system of universities in Ukraine and its specific instruments require further study. Cognitive value. The study results contribute to overcoming the asymmetry of information in the market of educational services, serve as a methodological basis for improving the communication programmes of higher education institutions, promote healthy competition among them. The findings of this study can be considered an essential contribution to future research.

Provided analyses deal with the differences between boys and girls with regard to the theory of social construction and they emphasise the role of environmental factors in shaping a sexual image on the part of an individual. The results of research on young females’ situation in the job market conducted among young women and employers have also been discussed by the author with relation to this issue.
