Wspólnota qumrańska wciąż nie daje się łatwo sklasyfikować, wymyka się próbom jej zdefiniowania, wykracza poza sztywne granice tworzonych przez naukowców pojęć i nie poddaje się prostemu opisowi. Bez wątpienia wszakże jedną z cech, którą można uznać za stanowiącą możliwie pełną i głęboką charakterystykę tego odłamu Narodu Wybranego, żyjącego w późnych wiekach okresu Drugiej Świątyni, była pobożność. Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia tę właśnie pobożność Zrzeszenia w jej różnych odsłonach: poznawczej, emocjonalnej i praktycznej. Wskazuje jej punkty styczne i rozłączne z pobożnością reszty Izraelitów; wyjaśnia, jak kształtowała tożsamość qumrańczyków; analizuje w końcu, w jaki sposób pobożność regulowała ich życie i jak nadawała mu kierunek, stając się konstytutywną wartością dla członków wspólnoty znad Morza Martwego.
The Qumran Community is still difficult to clasify, ducks out of being defined, doesn’t fit into rigid frameworks of scientific concepts and isn’t easy to describe. However, with no doubt, one of the features that possibly fully characterized that part of the Chosen People, which lived during the late Second Temple Period, was piety. This article shows that piety of the Community in it’s different aspects: cognitive, emotional and practical. Signalizes it’s tangent and separable points with piety of the rest of Israelites; explains how it shaped the identity of the Qumran people; finally analyses how piety regulated their lifes and steered it, becoming a constitutive value for the members of the Dead Sea Community.

The article focuses on three areas of work with the local community. First of them is the experience, which is highlighted as the most important of traditional Polish people in this area and the relevance of selected activities is pointed out that can serve best practices. In this respect, pedagogy described backyard, TPD and scouting activities (ZHP) with particular emphasis on the NAL. The article shows the legal and social arrangements that provide assistance and social work with people who need it. The whole article closes the author's proposal of the employment programs with the local community.

Opis:
The objective of this article is to present the conception of the stakeholders in managing the organization. The paper discussed the typology of stakeholders and ways of engaging stakeholders in the activities of the organization. Next, the process of determining of stakeholders was analyzed and the proposition of value for stakeholders included in the strategy of community was presented on the example of Inowrocław. In order to obtain implementation and monitoring results of strategy prepared stakeholders perspective dedicated to Balanced Scorecard with measures to monitor the effects of realizing strategy goals.
W artykule została zaprezentowana koncepcja interesariuszy w zarządzaniu organizacją. Przedstawiono podział interesariuszy według różnych kryteriów oraz sposoby angażowania interesariuszy w działalność organizacji. Następnie omówiono proces ustalania interesariuszy oraz propozycję wartości zawartą w strategii jednostki samorządu terytorialnego dla Gminy Inowrocław. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest próba opracowania perspektywy interesariuszy dla gminy Inowrocław jako nadrzędnej, warunkującej skuteczność wdrożenia strategii gminy. Dla poszczególnych celów tej perspektywy opracowano mierniki, umożliwiające monitorowanie osiąganych efektów strategicznych.

The paper concerns new immigrants (on the example of Polish-Chinese neighbourhood) but in two folklore phenomena: gossip and urban legend. The author demonstrates the process of formation the Polish-Chinese relationships resulting in – established in 2010 – economic cooperation between the city authorities and Chinese investors in the Silesian city of Jaworzno in Poland, where is located the Chinese largest Wholesale Center „Silesia Chinese Center” in the southern part of the country. The contact of such different cultures in the space of the city brought new urban legends and creates gossips, heroes of which were the Chinese people. Basing on her field research the author tries to answer the question of the source of these processes and their impact on the quality of Polish-Chinese relationships in the city.

W niniejszym artykule zostały przedstawione okoliczności, w których zakonnik może tymczasowo przebywać poza wspólnotą zakonną, pomimo spoczywającego na nim obowiązku mieszkania w domu zakonnym. W pierwszym punkcie ukazano, w jaki sposób kwestia ta była rozwiązywana w regułach zakonnych w pierwszych wiekach. W drugim punkcie przedstawiono dokumenty kościelne od Soboru Watykańskiego II do 1983 r., w których poruszany był ten temat. W ostatnim punkcie wskazano na rozstrzygnięcia, które w tej kwestii zawiera Kodeks Prawa Kanonicznego z 1983 r. Przeprowadzone analizy wykazały, że w pewnych sytuacjach prawo dopuszcza, aby zakonnik otrzymał zgodę na przebywanie poza domem zakonnym, pomimo spoczywającego na nim obowiązku przebywania we wspólnocie. Jest to wyraz roztropności prawodawcy kościelnego, dla którego najważniejszym celem jest dobro dusz.
This article sets out the circumstances, in which religious may temporarily stay outside the religious community, despite his duty to live in a religious house. The first point shows, how this issue was resolved in the religious rules in the first centuries of the Church. The second section presents the church documents from Vatican Council II to the 1983, in which this topic was moved. The last point indicates the provisions, which in this issue contains the 1983 Code of Canon Law. The conducted analyzes showed that in certain circumstances the law allows to religious to receive a permission to reside outside the religious house, despite his duty to staying in the community. It is a sign of legislator of the Church’s wisdom, for which the most important objective of a law is spiritual profit of souls.

The main task of the present paper is to rethink the very idea of community, in comparison with other terms that describe the human collectivity such as-people, society, population, free association, group, collective or aggregate. After analyzing three basic ways of thinking about community-the liberal one, communitarianist and the biopolitical paradigm, the author reconstructs the contemporary concepts of community, such as the “unavowable community” (Maurice Blanchot), “the inoperative community” (Jean-Luc Nancy), “community in question” (Jacques Derrida), “the coming community” (Giorgio Agamben), “a collective” (Bruno Latour), and communitas (Roberto Esposito). As the result of his analyzes the author infers the general conclusion, that what is at stake in philosophical discourse about communities is “conjuring up” or “designing” alternative ways of being, alternative ontologies of the social world.

In this article the author points out that analyzing the role of Confucianism in Chinese society, and in particular the role of the Contemporary New Confucianism in relation to the possibility of establishing democracy in the ‘Middle Kingdom’, one should adopt the perspective of the widest possible openness to the values practiced there today. Adaptation of democracy to the circumstances of historical, cultural and political is evident. The values existing in Chinese society – those derived from tradition, and those created in the course of changes in the last century – will hardly shape democratic values. Confucian model of democratization can vary between conservative Confucian model of parliament and extreme political liberalism where “everyone is sovereign, all are subjects”. Democracy – or more precisely “Confucian democracy” – in China will be born with a moral conformity between the human individual and the state that reasonable public trust and turn them into co-government. It was then that the power of a “new contract” will arise new Chinese institutions of democracy, concludes the author.

W 1960 r. w Nowej Hucie miały miejsce zajścia, które historycy zwykli określać mianem "walk o krzyż". W swojej krótkiej pracy postanowiłem przybliżyć te niezwykle dramatyczne wydarzenia w najmłodszej dzielnicy Krakowa. Powołując się na wypowiedzi świadków i uczestników zajść wykazałem, że 27. kwietnia 1960 r. w Nowej Hucie mieliśmy obraz wojny. Doszło do starć zbrojnych ze służbami porządkowymi, nie obyło się bez rannych (nie wiemy czy byli zabici). W pracy przedstawiłem też genezę tych wydarzeń zaznaczając, że społeczeństwo nowohuckie poczuło się oszukane cofnięciem zgody na budowę kościoła. Pomysł tematyki tekstu zrodził się w związku z 50-tą rocznicą "rewolucji nowohuckiej".
In the year of 1960 in Nowa Huta took place the incidents, which historians usually call “the struggles for the cross”. In my brief paper I decided to examine those remarkably dramatic events in the newest district of Cracow. Referring to the statements of the witnesses and participants of the incidents I prove that on the 27th of April of 1960 Nowa Huta constituted a warlike image. There was armed struggle with the armed services, there were also wounded victims (it is not known whether there were any killed). In the paper I also present the genesis of the events emphasizing that the community of Nowa Huta felt cheated by the withdrawal of the permission for the construction of a church. The idea for the essay was born in regard to the 50th anniversary of the “revolution of Nowa Huta”.

The magnitude of the disaster of September 11, 2001 brought to bear a general recognition that terrorism is a global problem that required urgent attention. The response of the international community was a war on terror against murderous, oppressive, violent and hateful groups. Since then failed states have been considered as cradle and fertile grounds of terrorism, which threatens national as well as global security. This premise is based on the assertion that there is a direct link between failing states and international terrorism. However, the following text disputes this claim by using quantitative data and empirical research, and thus denies the whole concept of the war on terror leads by the USA and Great Britain.

The paper addresses the issues of relationships in distance education. These problems are important because good relationships are among the key determinants of both the quality of education and learning outcomes. The new educational conditions brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic have become a threat to building and strengthening the school community's relationships. The need to switch to distance education from one day to the next was a huge challenge for teachers, students, and parents. Initially, teachers focused mainly on technical issues and finding ways to implement core curricula. There was a risk that in distance education, where contact is mediated, it would be difficult for teachers to foster relationships. Furthermore, taking care of students' psychological needs, including the need for relationships, should be a priority in these conditions to provide an antidote to the psychological difficulties associated with isolation and online learning. The purpose of this study was to examine the importance attached by early school education teachers to relationships as well as how and to what extent they build and maintain relationships and create a community in distance education. The research was conducted using the interview method and included early school education teachers. The results obtained represent examples of good practice in fostering relationships while teaching online.

Opis:
The subject of the article is the analysis of the situation of elderly people functioning in their local environment, on the example of Żabia Wola. Presentation of the results of own research is preceded by a review of important theories regarding old age, including the characteristics of styles of functioning of seniors and the presentation of the most important studies regarding their situation. In the empirical part, a diagnosis of the local community of Żabia Wola was carried out. The research was aimed at finding out about friendly places and offers addressed to seniors, identifying barriers in accessing them, looking for resources and recognizing attitudes and styles of functioning in old age, presented by elderly in the studied environment. Triangulation was used for the purposes of the research, i.e. a combination of research methods: analysis of existing data, participant observation, interviews and questionnaires. The research hypotheses were confirmed only partially: the hypothesis that seniors are passive was not confirmed and that the attitude of dependence on the family and immediate environment prevails among them. The research shows that elderly people are rarely included in offers and services addressed to all residents. The studied elderly people, however, have a lot of potential that they could use, taking part in events prepared specially for them and using dedicated offers that currently do not always meet their expectations and needs. The conclusion from the research, which is also a recommendation for local authorities, is the need for intergenerational integration in order to sensitize the entire local community to the needs of older people.

Analizy podejmowane w niniejszym artykule podporządkowane zostały odpowiedzi na pytanie o to, w jaki sposób jednostka odkrywa/konstruuje sens życia. Przeprowadzono je w perspektywie teorii socjologicznej Margaret S. Archer, nazywanej przez autorkę podejściem morfogenetycznym, i pogłębiono przez odwołania do neotomistycznej filozofii wychowania. Refleksja została podzielona na cztery części, w których kolejno podjęto kwestie: (1) współczesnego kulturowego rozumienia kwestii odkrywania/formułowania sensu życia; (2) teorii socjologicznej Margaret Archer; (3) wyprowadzonej z teorii Archer koncepcji odkrywania/konstruowania sensu życia; (4) wspólnotowych uwarunkowań niniejszego procesu. Refleksja prowadzi do wniosku, że sens życia jest odkrywany przez jednostkę jako tak zwana troska ostateczna w poznaniu bezpośrednim, niezapośredniczonym w kulturze, a sama kultura (w tym edukacja) wspierają jednostkę w nazywaniu i rozumieniu tego co ważne oraz wskazują sposoby troski o to, co ważne. Stwierdzenie to prowadzi do wniosku, że odnalezienie sensu życia przez jednostkę jest uwarunkowane strukturami życia wspólnotowego, które albo jest gotowe do włączenia jednostki do troski o dobro wspólne, albo wyklucza jednostkę ze wspólnoty.
The analysis undertaken in this article aimed to answer the question of how an individual discovers/constructs the meaning of life. This analysis was carried out from the perspective of the sociological theory of Margaret S. Archer – named by her the morphogenetic approach. This approach has also been deepened with references to the neo-Thomistic philosophy of education. The analysis was divided into four parts, in which the following issues were raised in sequence: (1) contemporary cultural understanding of the issue of discovering/constructing the meaning of life; (2) the sociological theory of Margaret Archer; (3) the concept of discovering/constructing the meaning of life derived from Archer’s theory; (4) the conditions of this process created by the community. The analysis leads to the conclusion that the meaning of life is discovered by the individual in so-called ultimate care in direct cognition; that is, it is not mediated in culture while culture itself (including education) supports the individual in naming and understanding what is important, indicating ways of caring about what is important. This statement leads to the conclusion that the discovery of the meaning of life by an individual is conditioned by the structure of community life which is either ready to include the individual in concern for the common good or excludes the individual from the community.
