Opis:
The paper examines the latest research into factors behind changes in the functional distribution of incomes, or the relationship between the share of wages and profits in GDP. The author describes the key determinants of theoretical and empirical research and explains why interest in these issues has increased in recent years in both Poland and elsewhere. The second part of the paper discusses the most controversial issues linked with the definition and measurement of the share of wages and profits in GDP, while part three focuses on general historic trends linked with the distribution of profits and wages. Part four discusses the results of the latest econometric research that takes into account the role of globalization and technological progress. Part five is dedicated to research dealing with capital-labor substitution, which is important from the perspective of theoretical debates in contemporary macroeconomics. The author concludes that future research into the distribution of profits and wages should cover countries with a medium and low level of development.

Opis:
The changes in the global market and the emphasis on the commercialization of R&D results, boost competitiveness and decide on the necessity to implement a marketing approach towards the organization and management of the business activity, including that of research institutions, which being treated as a unique kind of enterprises, make the results of their research commercially available. An important factor supporting effective commercialisation of research results is a proper preparation and execution of promotion activities, which based on the rules of marketing, increase the likelihood of success of implementation of innovative solutions on the market. The dissemination activities comprise all activities aimed at raising the interest of the public (i. e. users, enterprises, institutions) in the results of R&D works, and focused on presenting the possibilities and benefits of their practical application. In order for the innovations to be diffused, target markets need to be specified, media most relevant for a given sector of the market need to be selected together with the most effective ways of reaching out to the target groups identified in the market segmentation process, and an effective marketing campaign needs to be launched. The system for the dissemination of innovative solutions developed and implemented at the Institute for Sustainable Technologies – National Research Institute in Radom (Poland) (ITeE – PIB), supports the management of R&D results and stimulates networking between the Institute and entities involved in the practical implementation of innovations. It also enables the execution of system tasks concerning promotion of innovative product and process technologies developed at the ITeE – PIB. As a result of its application, business projects, which improve the technology commercialization process resulting in new products or technologies being brought to the market, are proposed.
Zachodzące zmiany na rynku globalnym, nacisk na komercjalizację wyników B+R, wzmagają konkurencyjność i wymuszają wdrażanie marketingowego sposobu kierowania działalnością również jednostek naukowo-badawczych, które traktowane jako swoiste przedsiębiorstwa, oferują na zasadach komercyjnych wyniki zrealizowanych badań naukowych. Istotnym wsparciem dla skutecznej realizacji procesu komercjalizacji wyników B+R jest odpowiednie przygotowanie i przeprowadzenie działań upowszechniania innowacyjnych rozwiązań, które oparte na regułach marketingu podnoszą prawdopodobieństwo sukcesu wdrożenia rynkowego. Na działania upowszechniania składają się wszelkie czynności zmierzające do zainteresowania odpowiednich osób, przedsiębiorstw lub instytucji wynikami prac B+R, przedstawienia możliwości ich wykorzystania oraz korzyści jakie niesie ich aplikacja w gospodarce. Upowszechnianie wymaga wskazania rynku docelowego, sformułowania właściwego przekazu dla danego segmentu rynku, wybrania najbardziej skutecznych sposobów dotarcia do zidentyfikowanych w procesie segmentacji grup potencjalnych odbiorców czy efektywnego zrealizowania zamierzonych działań marketingowych. Opracowany i wdrożony z powodzeniem w Instytucie Technologii Eksploatacji — Państwowy Instytucie Badawczym, z siedzibą w Radomiu systemu działań upowszechniania innowacyjnych rozwiązań, wspomaga zarządzanie wynikami prac B+R, wpływa na rozwój współpracy pomiędzy Instytutem a podmiotami gospodarczymi zainteresowanymi wdrażaniem innowacji. Ponadto umożliwia on prowadzenie systemowych działań związanych z promocją innowacyjnych technologii produktowych i procesowych powstających w ITeE — PIB. W efekcie jego stosowania tworzone i rozwijane są projekty o charakterze biznesowym, usprawniające proces komercjalizacji rozwiązań technologicznych, skutkujące dostarczeniem nowego produktu, nowej technologii na rynek.

W artykule przedstawiono opis autorskiej aplikacji komputerowej służącej do przygotowania matematycznego modelu badanego procesu. Model wyznaczany jest w oparciu o funkcje regresji i bazuje na planie statycznym dwupoziomowym kompletnym. Schemat obliczeń zgodny jest z procedurą prezentowaną w dostępnej literaturze. Opracowana aplikacja pozwala na przygotowanie modelu bez potrzeby zakupu drogiego oprogramowania komercyjnego i ułatwia prowadzenie analiz.
The paper presents a description of the author's computer application used to prepare a mathematical model of the studied process. The model is based on regression functions and is based on a static, two-level complete plan. The calculation scheme is in accordance with the procedure presented in the available literature. The prepared application allows you to prepare the model without the need to buy expensive commercial software and facilitates analysis.

This paper presents the process of designing Research and Development actions for innovative technology of highly efficient manufacturing of Spunlace non-woven fabric with the use of the designed demonstrative technological line. Both the designing of the technological line and the research are response to the market needs of the personal care products manufacturers in Poland and in the world. Clients’ expectations concerning this matter deal with increasing the production volume as well as providing better quality of the products. Due to limited (and fully exploited) production capacities and already-known technical problems in the enterprise where the research has been carried out, the authors designed a concept of innovative controlling of the technological line gradually increasing its efficiency. In order to do so, the authors proposed research based on designing the technological line mathematical model, creating its prototype and testing its operational capacities, saving the data in the database and then the use of this empirical data to the technological line parametrisation depending on the properties and destination of the manufactured products.

The article points to the financing of innovations as a key direction of the country’s innovation policy, being one o the essential challenges or the sus- tained development of our country. The aim of the article is to discuss and compare three models of financing of innovations applied in the Polish econ- omy in the present financial perspective 2007-2013: grants, mixed and re- turn. Two programmes adressed to the entrepreneurs have been analysed: Innovative Economy 2007-2013 Operational Programme and The Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development 2007– 2013. Due to the guidelines of the European Committee related to the rec- ommended departure from the grant models for the return models, the arti- cle shows the recommendation of the use of the mixed model in the transition period, modelled on the instrument of technological credit (a return credit combined with irreclaimable grant).

Development and popularization of new communication technologies generate new dimensions of opportunities and threats associated with learning and using technologies as well as with their sociocultural consequences. The article presents four dimensions of social perception of these threats and opportunities: creativity, representative potential, psychological attitude, privacy and control. They were distinguished on the basis of two research projects using qualitative research techniques. Particular attention was dedicated to generational usage of technology. In this way, the paper may be the basis for distinguishing the dimensions of technological competencies.

Assessment and management of risk constitute the subject of many researches. Nevertheless, many more specific factors are applicable during the implementation of innovative technological projects. On the article identified risk factors, which have been supplemented, systematized and assigned to the individual risk categories. The risk assessment methods for R&D projects have been analysed, as well as the risk sheets have been developed for the R&D project through the use of dotProject application. Also shown that networking and clustering is a change for fruitful cooperation within difference EU projects, which create trust between business and sciences and reduce the risk.

Opis:
The construction of technological test stands is connected with the problem of the proper determination of the structure of the stands to enable the execution of technological processes with different types of instruments and devices. The article presents a test stand for Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) technological processes. The configurability of the stand was achieved thanks to the modular structure of the stand and the use of appropriate software and hardware solutions. The authors present examples of the utilisation of the structure of the stand for the modernisation of existing technological devices and the development of new ones.
Budowa technologicznych stanowisk badawczych przeznaczonych do prac rozwijających nowe technologie wiąże się z problemem określenia właściwej struktury stanowiska, umożliwiającej realizację procesu z odpowiednim oprzyrządowaniem lub realizację różnych procesów z wybranymi zestawami oprzyrządowania. W artykule przedstawiono stanowisko do badań procesów technologii Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD). Możliwość rekonfiguracji stanowiska uzyskano poprzez zastosowanie modułowej struktury stanowiska oraz odpowiednich rozwiązań systemu sterowania odnoszących się do warstwy sprzętowej i programowej. Przedstawiono przykłady wykorzystania struktury stanowiska do modernizacji istniejących i budowy nowych urządzeń technologicznych.

Artykuł opisuje uwarunkowania brzegowe realizacji projektu ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem szans i barier rozwoju innowacji w Polsce.
ITB is a member of the consortium presented in the article of the research project entitled European test stands enabling small and medium-sized enterprises in the construction sector to develop innovative products for the construction of building facades using harmonized and modernized technical frameworks and living laboratories (2021-2026) financed by the European Commission in the Horizon 2020 research program. Enterprises (SMEs) a support system and access to the innovation ecosystem, including technical research platforms, acting as an innovation accelerator that will allow SMEs to compete with large enterprises. The article describes the boundary conditions of the project implementation with particular emphasis on the opportunities and barriers to the development of innovation in Poland.

Ponadto artykuł uwzględnia udział polskich przedstawicieli w pracach NATO STO, a także wskazuje na rolę Krajowego Centrum Dystrybucji Publikacji NATO STO w Centralnej Bibliotece Wojskowej w zakresie rozpowszechniania dorobku badawczego przedstawionej instytucji.
The NATO Science and Technology Organization is the world’s largest international research forum in the field of defence science and technology. The article focuses on presenting the areas of the STO Technical Panels’ expertise. The activities of the STO Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE), a world-class facility which is the Alliance’s repository of expert knowledge in maritime defence and security, were also described. In addition, the article highlights the participation of Polish representatives in NATO STO activities, as well as the role of the NATO STO National Distribution Centre in the Central Military Library in promoting the research output of the presented institution.

The escalating concerns surrounding personal data security in cyberspace necessitate a comprehensive examination of user awareness, attitudes, and behaviours. This study, conducted among University of Udine students, delves into the multifaceted dimensions of personal data security, exploring aspects such as perceptions and behaviours related to privacy, network security, and legal compliance. The research objectives involve assessing respondents’ awareness of data transfer on the network, their general concerns about cyber risks, and the coherence between awareness, concern, and actual online behaviour. A convenience sample of 518 predominantly young respondents was gathered through an online questionnaire. Results reveal a noteworthy disparity between declared awareness and actual concern, leading to a „privacy paradox”. While respondents express awareness of data transfer, their specific concern is limited, predominantly focusing on commercial aspects rather than acknowledging broader cybersecurity threats. This discordance extends to online behaviour and the predominant use of devices such as smartphones, which are simultaneously the most used by respondents but also perceived to have the greatest data loss and the least possibility of implementing data protection actions. The findings underscore the critical need for ongoing cybersecurity education, particularly targeting younger populations, to bridge the gap between theoretical awareness and practical implementation of secure online practices. This study prompts further investigation into diverse cultural contexts, proposing a shared model for technological education across European societies to foster secure behaviours in the digital landscape

Artykuł jest próbą znalezienia odpowiedzi na pytanie czy i jak współpraca międzynarodowa przyczynia się do rozwoju innowacji technologicznych, których celem już na etapie prac badawczo-rozwojowych jest wzrost konkurencyjności przedsiębiorstw i regionów. Dokonano analizy uwarunkowań dla rozwoju innowacji technologicznych, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem kontekstu współpracy nauki i gospodarki, również międzynarodowych badań pro-innowacyjnych, podejmowanych przez przedsiębiorstwa. Pokazano ciekawe trendy w finansowaniu prac B+R w przedsiębiorstwach przez podmioty zagraniczne, programy rządowe i międzynarodowe organizacje. Zwrócono uwagę na wzrost znaczenia dla podnoszenia innowacyjności powiązań kooperacyjnych czyli branżowych klastrów środowiska międzynarodowego, będącego Źródłem synergii korzyści. Autorka zwraca uwagę, że szczególna rola w promowaniu idei open innovation i zauważalna integracja wysiłków środowiska B+R, zarówno w sektorze nauki jak i w biznesie, przypada obecnie zespołom naukowobadawczym, poszukującym nowych rozwiązań technologicznych w obszarach środowiskowych, szeroko rozumianej energetyce odnawialnej, zrównoważonym transporcie i technologiach ograniczających emisję.

W 2007 r. firma "AgrAlex" Aleksander Lubiński z Redła opracowała i wdrożyła do produkcji nowatorską maszynę - mobilną linię technologiczną do przygotowania ziarna siewnego zbóż "ANIELA". Jej opracowanie i wdrożenie było przedmiotem projektu celowego ROW-II-171/2006, dofinansowanego przez Centrum Innowacji NOT. Wykonawcą większości prac badawczych był Przemysłowy Instytut Maszyn Rolniczych w Poznaniu. W artykule przedstawiono w skrócie wyniki badań prototypu maszyny.
In 2007 a company "AgrAlex" Aleksander Lubiński from Redło has implemented into production an inventive machine - mobile technological line "ANIELA" for preparation of cereals seed-grain. Its scientific description and implementation were the matter of a goal orientated project ROW-II-171/2006, co-financed by Innovation Centre of Polish Federation of Engineering Associations NOT. Industrial Institute of Agricultural Engineering in Poznań was an executive of most of the researches. The article includes shortened results of researches of the machine prototype.
