    The polymer-matrix composites have been applied to regeneration of machine elements since many years. Their proprieties as well as range of using are known generally. However, no exact comparative data about technological factors influence on the adhesive-bonded joints properties, especially the influence of surface preparation. Authors in view of the wide possibilities of the use of such composites in the repair of machinery and equipment, the issue of assessing the impact of technological factors on the properties of adhesive joints made in this work. In this paper was presented the results of adhesive-bonded joints researches depending on the preparation of adhesive material and the surface condition of jointed elements. The tests were selected most often used adhesive material. Based on these results it can be stated that the composition of the adhesive composition and condition of the surface preparation jointed elements have a significant influence on the properties of connections. It is noted considerable variation bonding strength between various variants of the state of the surface. The composition of the adhesive has a significant effect on the properties of the connection. Deficiency and excess hardener content in weight reduces the adhesive strength of the adhesive connection.

    In this paper the technological process of movable and immovable pressure casting die insert of water pump executed in one of motor industrial plant was presented. Machining processes of casting die elements were described in detail. Individual operations and the process of machining parameters selection were characterized. Machine applications were generated for the virtual 3D model of movable and immovable die insert in Mastercam application operating in Windows environment. An attempt at modification of technological process for selected HSM-applied milling operations (high-speed machining) in Mastercam was made. As the result of modifications it turned out that machining time of rough milling operation has been reduced by almost 49% for movable die insert and by 29% for immovable die insert, which means achieving considerable savings.

    Podstawowym zagadnieniem opracowanym w pracy jest aplikacja wspomagająca generowanie danych technologicznych dla typoszeregów konstrukcji maszyn. Dane generowane są w formie tradycyjnej (karty technologiczne i instrukcyjne) oraz kodów na obrabiarki sterowane numerycznie. Model przekształceń bazuje na opracowanej teorii podobieństwa technologicznego i algorytmach przekształceń cech konstrukcyjnych z zastosowaniem relacyjnych baz danych [6, 7, 8].
    The paper presents the applications supporting of technology date generating for series of types of constructions. The data are generated in traditional form (technological and instruction cards) and codes for numerically controlled machines. The model of transformation is based on the theory of similarity and algorithms of transformation constructional features using relational databases [6, 7, 8].

    W artykule przedstawiono dwa procesy technologiczne kształtowania wyrobów na specjalnej maszynie, zaprojektowane na potrzeby przedsiębiorstw przemysłowych. Jeden z materiałów wyjściowych wymagał zastosowania obróbki cieplnej (przesycania) w celu zmniejszenia oporów kształtowania plastycznego, a drugi zastosowania zespołu trzymania półfabrykatu i pospawania dwóch połówek celem kształtowania krawędzi tak złączonej próbki. Uzyskano pozytywne wyniki badań (w postaci wyrobów spełniających warunki odbioru), które mogą być z powodzeniem wdrożone do praktyki przemysłowej.
    The paper presents two technological processes of forming products on a special machine, designed for the needs of industrial enterprises. One of the materials required heat treatment (Solution heat treatment) in order to reduce the plastic metal forming resistance; the other required the application of a blank holding unit and welding of the two halves to form the edges of the sample joined in this way. The investigation has rendered positive results (in the form of products meeting the conditions of acceptance) which can be successfully implemented in industrial practice.

    Theoretically, the task of translating from one language to another is still the same as it was only twenty or thirty years ago. In practice, however, the paths that translators take to achieve (more or less) the same results are changing all the time. This is because of changes in the media being worked in and with, as well as the increasingly powerful tools which are there for translators to use. These changes inevitably mean that the training which future translators receive has to be changed and adapted to reflect the changes in the way in which they will have to work, and even to reflect changes in the role of the translator.

    The article analyzes the fields of application of machine vision. Special attention is focused on the application of Machine Vision in intelligent technological systems for product quality control. An important aspect is a quick and effective analysis of product quality directly at the stage of the technological process with high accuracy in determining product defects. The appropriateness and perspective of using the mathematical apparatus of artificial neural networks for the development of an intelligent technological system for monitoring the geometric state of products have been demonstrated. The purpose of this study is focused on the identification and classification of reed tuber quality parameters. For this purpose, new methods of identification and classification of quality control of various types of defects using computer vision and machine learning algorithms were proposed.
    W artykule dokonano analizy obszarów zastosowań widzenia maszynowego. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na zastosowanie widzenia maszynowego w inteligentnych systemach technologicznych kontroli jakości wyrobów. Ważnym aspektem jest szybka i skuteczna analiza jakości produktu bezpośrednio na etapie procesu technologicznego z dużą dokładnością w określaniu wad produktu. Pokazano celowość i perspektywę wykorzystania aparatu matematycznego sztucznych sieci neuronowych do budowy inteligentnego systemu technologicznego do monitorowania stanu geometrycznego wyrobów. Celem badań jest identyfikacja i klasyfikacja parametrów jakościowych rurek trzcinowych. W tym celu zaproponowano nowe metody identyfikacji i klasyfikacji kontroli jakości różnego rodzaju defektów z wykorzystaniem wizji komputerowej i algorytmów uczenia maszynowego.

    In this paper the features of plastic forming that make this processing technique widely used in modern production processes were described . The possibilities of supporting this type of processing with other techniques, e. g. laser, were also shown. The reason for this is that the implemented processes becoming a hybrid character. Machines, tools and technological processes that cause such great interest in this technology from the industry were presented.

    In the times of crisis, the competitive edge of a desired production acquires a special value. The paper considers the structure of competitiveness as a unity of quality, expenditure, profit and prices. It describes a method of forming competitiveness exemplifying, at the same time, an erroneous interpretation of competitiveness and methods of its "rapid determination". To analyze and synthesize an integral level of competitiveness, one may use the SADT-method of detailed step-by-step hierarchy of the objects under study.
    Konkurencyjność produkcji w okresie kryzysu nabywa znaczenia podstawowego. W pracy rozważano strukturę konkurencyjności określaną jakością wytworzonego wyrobu, wszystkich rodzajów kosztów oraz zysku. Opisano jedną z metod, umożliwiającą natychmiastową ocenę konkurencyjności procesów produkcji. Na podstawie ogólnej definicji konkurencyjności przedstawiono krytyczne uwagi dotyczące sposobu jej omawiania. Dla poprawy dokładności ustalania poziomu konkurencyjności zaproponowano zastosowanie wykresów SADT, umożliwiających wyznaczenie modelu hierarchicznego czynników mających wpływ na ocenę rozważanego procesu produkcji.

    The work presents an abstract model of a machine for packing food products into cardboard and foil packages. This was an attempt to formulate a criterion introducing objectivity to the process of aggregating the said system’s components into a set of relational model elements. The implemented relation model is the basis for constructing a mathematical and simulation model of a Tetra-Pak system machine operation.

    In many current discussions, digitalization functions as a dazzling leitmotif not only for technological, social and cultural transformation processes in general, but also for current social reproduction problems and upheavals in the field of education in particular. On the one hand, there is a widespread uneasiness in educational cultures of digitality; on the other hand, the promises of the future in learning technology are also promoting tendencies of ease for some groups. Based on a broader perspective that goes beyond a Freudian understanding of discomfort in culture, this article puts forward five trenchant theses for discussion, all of which mark fault lines of (dis)comfort in the educational cultures of digitality.
    Digitalizacja funkcjonuje w wielu aktualnych dyskusjach jako migotliwa formuła przewodnia nie tylko dla procesów transformacji technologicznej, społecznej i kulturowej w ogóle, ale także dla aktualnych problemów reprodukcji społecznej i przewrotów w sektorze edukacji w szczególności. Z jednej strony, w kulturach edukacyjnych panuje powszechny niepokój związany z cyfrowością; z drugiej strony, obietnice technologii uczenia się przyszłości również promują tendencje do komfortu dla niektórych grup.     Opis:
    Artykuł prezentuje wyniki części prac, których celem była ocena dokładności technologicznej precyzyjnych tokarek i centrów tokarskich CNC. Przedstawiono przykłady metod badań dokładności nastawianych ruchów technologicznych (posuwowych, obrotowych, interpolowanych), na podstawie których można ocenić wpływ błędów tych ruchów na dokładność różnych rodzajów obróbki wykorzystujących złożenie ruchów posuwowych, posuwowych i obrotowych, synchronizacji ruchów. Omówiono metody, dzięki którym można diagnozować przyczyny powstawania błędów tego rodzaju obróbki, a mianowicie dokładność nastawionego ruchu. Dokładność ta nie zależy tylko od dokładności geometrycznej, pozycjonowania, ale także od możliwości i ustawionych parametrów działania układów regulacji. Opisano przykłady metod badań: - dokładności i równomierności nastawionej prędkości obrotowej wrzecion - błędów odzwierciedlania zadanej trajektorii ruchów interpolowanych - błędnych ruchów wirującego przedmiotu zamocowanego w uchwycie. Przedstawiono przykłady diagnostyki błędów ruchów technologicznych i ich przyczyn na podstawie opisanych metod badań.
    This article presents part of research with the object of evaluation of technological accuracy of precision lathes and CNC turning centers. Presented are examples of methods of accuracy testing of set technological motions (linear, rotary, interpolated), on the basis of which one can evaluate the influence of errors of these motions on accuracy of various types of machining that are utilizing synchronization of linear, rotary motions. Discussed are methods which make it possible to diagnosis the causes of occurring errors of this kind of machining in which main causes of errors can be the accuracy of set motion. This accuracy can originate not only from geometrical accuracy of positioning, but also from capabilities and set parameters of control systems. Described are the examples of testing methods of: - accuracy and steadiness of set rotational speed of spindles, - errors of performing of set trajectory of interpolated motions, - error motions of rotating workpiece clamped in chuck. Presented are examples of diagnosis of technological motion errors and their causes as based on described testing methods.

    Opis:
    This paper proposes MLP neural nets to improve technological process design. The first stage of research concerned the creation of models to selection of machine tools, the second stage pertained the creation of models to selection of tools and the third stage concerned the creation of models to selection of machining parameters. In addition, use of tools is forecasted at various time intervals. The models were created using Statsoft STATISTICA Data Miner. These models were compared in order to obtain the best selection. Based on the models, it is possible to create different scenarios of the design of technological process.
    W artykule przedstawiono opracowanie sieci neuronowych MLP w celu poprawy projektowania procesu technologicznego. Pierwszy etap dotyczył tworzenia modeli wyboru obrabiarek, drugi modeli wyboru narzędzi i trzeci tworzenia modeli do wyboru parametrów obróbki skrawaniem. Dodatkowo w opracowanych modelach uwzględniono prognozowanie użycia narzędzi w różnych przedziałach czasowych. Stosowano program Statsoft STATISTICA Data Miner. Prowadzono analizy wyników dla poszczególnych modeli i opracowano kryteria doboru. Stwierdzono, że wprowadzenie sieci neronowych umożliwia tworzenie różnych scenariuszy projektowania procesu technologicznego.
