Opis:: It is contended that technological education, forming the outlook of the modern-day person should accord to universal human values (the good, love, harmony, aesthetics, etc.). The achievements of scientific and technological advance should be subordinate to these values. It is argued that humanising the training of technology teachers requires a strategy and the establishment of regular courses in culture for technology teachers. It is suggested that humanising the paradigm of education changes the basic requirements of the dialectical method in revealing the contradictions of the object of study. Key ideas of pedagogy focus on the uniqueness of each student and take into account her/his interests and values. This may require individualising the learning process. The abovementioned issues can be responded to through a cultural approach to technology teachers’ training. The content of courses should recognise the integrity of the cultural experience of humanity: ethical, religious, philosophical, aesthetic, technical, professional, etc., in addition to the scientific way of knowing the world. The use of technology in everyday life has greatly increased. There has been a shift of cultural patterns from the realm of mass consciousness and mass behaviour that operate on a natural basis to new patterns characterised by individualisation, analysis, and even consciousness transformation and construction. Therefore, teaching that the technological culture of self-determination is culturally determined must be included in the cultural training of technology teachers.

Opis:: The escalating concerns surrounding personal data security in cyberspace necessitate a comprehensive examination of user awareness, attitudes, and behaviours. This study, conducted among University of Udine students, delves into the multifaceted dimensions of personal data security, exploring aspects such as perceptions and behaviours related to privacy, network security, and legal compliance. The research objectives involve assessing respondents’ awareness of data transfer on the network, their general concerns about cyber risks, and the coherence between awareness, concern, and actual online behaviour. A convenience sample of 518 predominantly young respondents was gathered through an online questionnaire. Results reveal a noteworthy disparity between declared awareness and actual concern, leading to a „privacy paradox”. While respondents express awareness of data transfer, their specific concern is limited, predominantly focusing on commercial aspects rather than acknowledging broader cybersecurity threats. This discordance extends to online behaviour and the predominant use of devices such as smartphones, which are simultaneously the most used by respondents but also perceived to have the greatest data loss and the least possibility of implementing data protection actions. The findings underscore the critical need for ongoing cybersecurity education, particularly targeting younger populations, to bridge the gap between theoretical awareness and practical implementation of secure online practices. This study prompts further investigation into diverse cultural contexts, proposing a shared model for technological education across European societies to foster secure behaviours in the digital landscape

Opis:: The article addresses an issue important in educational sciences which is emotional education understood as an activity for human emotional development. It is important in the context of lifelong learning, that is, both for the functioning of children and young people at school and for the lifelong learning of adults. Emotional education plays a significant role in the development of pro-social attitudes, the functioning of individuals in the local community, and in the building of civil society. Owing to the fact that the objectives of education and the principles of their implementation in educational practice are based on different theoretical assumptions, two different approaches to emotional education were distinguished, that is, technological-instrumental and humanistic-critical. There are clear and significant differences between those two perspectives, and not only in the way they conceptualize and explain “emotional education.” The two singled out approaches have consequences for educational policy and pedagogical practice. The aim of the article is to characterize both of the theoretical perspectives at hand and to indicate their implications for pedagogical activities.

Opis:: The text presents an analysis of two magazines: “Polish Studies” and “Mathematics”, from the point of view of technological teaching and hidden concealed curriculum of the authorities of the Polish People’s Republic in 1945–1956. As previous studies indicate, the assumptions of both concepts are consistent with the educational policy in that time but an analysis of the specific titles in this regard has been rarely carried out. The article consists of a theoretical part with a definition of the concepts necessary to understand the topic, and outlines the historical context. It is followed by a research part presenting the methodology of the research and a description of selected texts. They open the way for the development of subsequent annuals and a systematic comparative analysis.

Opis:: Мета дослідження – проаналізувати процеси організаційного навчання при розвитку організаційних компетенцій в двох навчальних закладах, що пропонують курси в рамках вищого технологічної освіти в Бразилії. Дизайн/Метод/Підхід дослідження. З огляду на експлоративну природу даного дослідження, застосовано якісні методи, зокрема метод множинного аналізу практичних прикладів (multiple case study). Результати дослідження. Виявлено процес навчання, існуючий на організаційному рівні, який з'явився в результаті інституціоналізації нових знань і нових практик. На підставі даних, отриманих з кожного практичного прикладу, стало можливим підтвердити, що компетенцію можна як набути, так і втратити. Зміна у компетенціях підтверджує динамічний характер даного процесу. Теоретичне значення дослідження. Цим дослідженням підтверджено модель, рекомендовану дослідником Патріотта (Patriotta) у 2003 р. Запропоновано варіанти її вдосконалення у галузі розуміння процесів організаційного навчання і розвитку організаційних компетенцій. Практичне значення дослідження. Менеджери можуть побачити як компетенції змінюються в часі і різних організаційних контекстах, відповідно до зовнішніх подій і зміни своїх бізнес-цілей, намірів і стратегії. Оригінальність/Цінність/Наукова новизна дослідження. З’ясовано, що організаційне навчання – це результат поглинання компетенцій, задіяних у цьому процесі. Використовуючи метафору визначено, що компетенції організації представляють собою «ДНК» організаційного навчання. Обмеження дослідження/Перспективи подальших досліджень: У роботі проаналізовано лише два практичних приклади і для більш повного опису результатів необхідні нові тематичні дослідження. Тип статті – емпірична.
Цель исследования – проанализировать процессы организационного обучения при развитии организационных компетенций в двух учебных заведениях, предлагающих курсы в рамках высшего технологического образования в Бразилии. Дизайн/Метод/Подход исследования. Ввиду эксплоративной природы данного исследования, применены качественные методы, в частности метод множественного анализа практических примеров (multiple case study). Результаты исследования. Выявлен процесс обучения, существующий на организационном уровне, который появился в результате институционализации новых знаний и новых практик. На основании данных, полученных из каждого практического примера, стало возможным подтвердить, что компетенцию можно как получить , так и утратить. Изменение в компетенциях подтверждает динамический характер данного процесса. Теоретическое значение исследования. Этим исследованием подтверждена модель, предложенная исследователем Патриотта (Patriotta) в 2003 г. Предложены варианты ее усовершенствования в области понимания процессов органзиционного обучения и развития организационных компетенций. Практическое значение исследования. Менеджеры могут увидеть как компетенции изменяются во времени и различных организационных контекстах, в соответствии с внешними событиями и изменениями своих бизнесс-целей, намерений и стратегии. Оригинальность/Ценность/Научная новизна исследования. Определено, что орагнизационное обучение – это результат поглащения компетенций, задействованных в этом процессе. Используя метафору определено, что компетенции организации представляют собой «ДНК» организационного обучения. Ограничение исследования/Перспективы дальнейших исследований. В роботі проанализировано только два практических примера и для более полного описания результатов необходимы новые тематические исследования. Тип статьи – эмпирическая.
Purpose – to analyze the process of organizational learning in development of organizational competences in two educational institutions that offer Higher Technological Education Courses in Brazil. Design/Method/Approach. As for the methodology, the nature of the research is exploratory, with a qualitative approach, and a multiple case study method. Findings. The results made it possible to conclude that there was a learning process at the organizational level, as new knowledge and new practices had been institutionalized. Based on the data found in each case, it was possible to certify that some competences can be built and others eliminated, shaping the dynamic character of the process. Theoretical implications. It was possible to corroborate the model used (Patriotta, 2003) and propose advances to it, towards an understanding of organizational learning processes in the development of organizational competences. Practical implications. The manager can see competences in dynamics, changing over time and in the context of the organization, according to the events and changes in their objectives, intentions, and strategies. Originality/Value. We found that organizational learning is the result of the acquisition of a competence that represents this process. Using a metaphor, it was found that the competences of an organization represent the 'DNA' of the organizational learning. Research limitations/Future research. This paper analyzed two cases only and new case studies are needed to characterize more fully on these results. Paper type – empirical.

Opis:: The aim of the article is to assess the impact of the development of technological capacity on the labour market in Poland, in voivodships with significantly different GDP levels: the Dolnośląskie and nearly four times smaller the Lubuskie. Data for the years 2002-2017 were obtained from the CSO Local Data Bank. The research used linear regression analysis and the OLS estimation method. The results have shown that the expenditure on R&D are not a positive factor of employment growth in both voivodships, which may be due to their low values in relation to GDP (on average around 0.5%). The number of students and universities had a positive impact on the labour market in both regions. The catch-up effect and accelerated development recorded in the second part of the examined period in the Lubuskie could have had an impact on better absorption of university graduates and registered patents by businesses and their positive impact on employment levels, in contrast to the Dolnośląskie. Improvement in the economic situation in both voivodships and in the whole country also had a positive impact on the improvement of conditions on the labour market.
