Opis:: W artykule poruszono temat możliwości i uwarunkowania integrowania myślenia systemowego i projektowego jako obiecującego podejścia do rozwiązywania lokalnych problemów bezpieczeństwa i porządku publicznego (BiPP). Przedstawiono założenia i oczekiwania dotyczące wykorzystania myślenia i podejścia systemowego oraz atrybutów i możliwości myślenia projektowego w projektowaniu rozwiązań poprawiających bezpieczeństwo. Zaproponowano metodyczne podejście integrujące te dwa sposoby myślenia w kontekście ich przydatności do rozwiązywania problemów bezpieczeństwa.
The article addresses the questions of possibilities and conditions of integrating systems thinking and design thinking as a promising approach to solving local problems of safety and public order. It presents the assumptions and expectations concerning the use of a systems thinking approach as well as the attributes and possibilities of design thinking in designing solutions which improve safety. It proposes a methodical approach that integrates these two ways of thinking in terms of their suitability for solving safety problems.

Opis:: W dyspozytorniach zakładów górniczych eksploatuje się wiele różnych systemów telekomunikacyjnych. Systemy te mogą pracować pod nadzorem systemu dyspozytorskiego THOR, który zapewnia ich integrację oraz ujednolicone przetwarzanie i prezentację danych użytkownikowi. W artykule przedstawiono istotne zagadnienie, jakim jest komunikacja między autonomicznymi systemami i systemem dyspozytorskim THOR. Wyjaśniono strukturę, sposób działania i zadania sterowników komunikacyjnych, dedykowanych programów komputerowych, które realizują funkcje komunikacji między systemami. Przedstawiono opracowane i zastosowane w istniejących instalacjach kopalnianych metody oraz protokoły komunikacji między systemami.
In the control rooms of mining operate a variety of telecommunications systems. These systems can work under the supervision of the THOR dispatcher system, which ensures their integration and unified processing and presentation of data to the user. The article presents important issue, which is the communication between autonomous systems and THOR dispatcher system. It explains the structure, activities and tasks of the communication drivers, dedicated computer programs, that perform the functions of communication between systems. Presents developed methods and protocols for communication between systems used in existing mining installations.

Opis:: Mobile navigation for inland shipping is an example of a GIS system dedicated for recreational users using inland waterways. Developing this system is a primary purpose of the research project “Mobile Navigation for Inland Waters” funded by the National Centre for Research and Development under the program LIDER. System assumptions include the development of a dedicated model of mobile cartographic presentation, taking into account the generalization of data. This article is focused on simplification of line and polygon features, included in the spatial data model MODEF (MObinav Data Exchange Format), which is used in the created system. During the simplification of line features, the Douglas-Peucker algorithm was mainly implemented. During the simplification of polygon features, a simplification method was applied, maintaining the basic shape and size of the objects. A simplification tolerance parameter and a parameter determining the minimum area of the object was also used. In addition, objects within a certain distance were merged. A smoothing tool for the shape and size of buildings and the PEAK method (Polynomial Approximation with Exponential Kernel) were used as well. Furthermore, a selection tool was employed and features with minor importance to the user were deleted during navigation mode. Given the requirements of the future user of the system, a separate model simplification for each of the layers of the system was created; these models are combinations of the methods listed above. The overriding factor that has been taken into account during the research of simplification methods, was the limitation of the sharpness of human eyes. The study of generalization methods was carried out in ArcGIS software.

Opis:: The introduction of CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) systems in the 1980s, aiming at integrating automatic workstations into fully automated factories, was not successful. The root causes of this failure were that the subsystems to be integrated were not suitably designed for easy integration into a larger system. This situation stimulated the authors to embark on a research programme on ‘design for the unexpected’. It defined how subsystems have to be designed so that integration into larger systems becomes easier and how such an integrated system can be controlled so that it can cope with change and disturbances. In the paper, the design principles and salient features of holonic manufacturing systems (HMS) are outlined. The PROSA reference architecture, defining the basic structure of any HMS, is described. It is further explained how coordination and control of the HMS is achieved by a holonic manufacturing execution system (HMES), based on the combination of the PROSA reference architecture and a biologically inspired Delegate Multiagent System (DMAS). Finally, the power and universality of the PROSA/DMAS system is demonstrated by some case studies from manufacturing, robotics and open air engineering.

Opis:: W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję oraz aktualny stan realizacji prototypu informatycznego systemu wsparcia analiz zagrożeń skażeniami, prognozowania ich skutków i alarmowania ludności (WAZkA) na potrzeby Krajowego Systemu Wykrywania Skażeń i Alarmowania (KSWSiA). Opisano wybrane moduły (usługi informatycznego wsparcia) wchodzące w skład systemu: analizator drzewa zdarzeń, moduł wizualizacji COP, moduł integracji z istniejącymi symulatorami rozwoju zagrożeń (Aloha, SI Promień) oraz emulatory systemów monitorowania zagrożeń.
The article outlines a concept for the system supporting analyses of threats related to contamination and alarming (WAZkA), for the purpose of the National System for Detection of Contamination and Alarming (Krajowy System Wykrywania Skażeń i Alarmowania, KSWSiA) in Poland. The selected modules included in the WAZkA system: Event Tree Analyzer, visualization module and emulators of the threats monitoring systems, were described as well as the idea of using the system for the purpose of training, including the designed emulators of the risk monitoring systems together with the scenario editor.

Opis:: Jednym z elementów kształtowania zrównoważonego rozwoju miejskiego systemu transportowego jest integracja publicznego transportu zbiorowego. Głównym celem integracji publicznego transportu zbiorowego jest ujednolicenie polityki obowiązującej na danym obszarze terytorialnym. Dzięki temu możliwe jest ułatwienie pasażerom korzystania z komunikacji miejskiej. Może przekładać się również na wzrost liczby pasażerów korzystających z publicznego transportu zbiorowego. W artykule przedstawiono oraz omówiono wyniki badań dotyczących procesu integracji oraz funkcjonowania publicznego transportu zbiorowego na terenie wybranych gmin aglomeracji poznańskiej, które zostały przeprowadzone wśród mieszkańców tego terenu.
One of the elements of creating sustainable urban transport system is integration of public transport. Very often in cities or agglomerations public transport is provided by several transport companies with different ticket policy. The most important aim of integration of public transport is to unify the ticket-pricing policy on defined territorial area. This makes it possible to facilitate for passengers the use of public transport. This also into an increased number of passengers using public transport. The article presents and discusses the results of research on the integration process and the functioning of public transport in selected municipalities of the Poznań agglomeration, which was conducted among residents of the area.

Opis:: Appearance of flexible supply networks can be seen as a response to changes in global markets, being a step beyond the linear supply chain topography. However, when dealing with multiple organizations and multiple processes within a complicated network, identifying and locating a member that has responsibility and/or competence in a particular part of the network can be a laborious, time-consuming process. Knowledge sharing is aimed to assist in solving this problem. The approach presented is based on application of such technologies as ontology and context management, constraint satisfaction and profiling. Ontologies provide for semantic interoperability between flexible supply network members. Usage of the context makes it possible to consider current situation in order to provide for actual knowledge or information. Competence profiles of the supply network members facilitate knowledge sharing and simplify partner selection. They allow formalizing and sharing member's knowledge and competencies. Constraints are used for knowledge description. This enables usage of constraint solvers for finding solutions in various situations.

Metody badawcze: analiza dostępnej literatury, wnioskowanie. Praca ma charakter przeglądowo-teoretyczny. Wyniki: wskazano na korzyści i bariery związane z wprowadzaniem zintegrowanego systemu zarządzania w organizacji. W oparciu o studia literatury stwierdzono, że integracja jako strategiczne i inherentne podejście umożliwia rozwiązanie problemów związanych z osiąganiem rzeczywistego, ciągłego doskonalenia i funkcjonowania organizacji w zmiennym otoczeniu rynkowym. Integracja systemu zarządzania przynosi organizacji korzyści ekonomiczne, a zintegrowany system zarządzania uwidacznia możliwe efekty synergii. Wskazano, że koncepcja zintegrowanego doskonalenia 5.0 umożliwia znalezienie sposobu na sukces organizacji funkcjonującej w warunkach zmienności i różnorodności otoczenia. Odniesiono się do integracji jako determinanty wzrostu gospodarczego. Wskazano na konieczność prowadzenia badań w zakresie wpływu efektywnego zarządzania wiedzą na kompleksowo rozumiane procesy integracji.
The purpose of the article is to present integration as a determinant of business growth and to indicate the essence, role, significance and relationship with management in an organization. The research methods included an analysis of the available literature and inferences. The work is theoretical in nature. The results indicate the benefits and barriers related to the introduction of integrated management system in an organization. Based on the literature studies it was found that integration as a strategic and inherent approach allows problems to be solved related to achieving real and continuous improvement, and helps an organization to navigate in a changing market environment. The integration of the management system brings economic benefits to the organization, and reveals possible synergy effects. It was pointed out that the concept of integrated improvement 5.0 makes it possible to find a route to success in the functioning of an organization in a variable and diverse environment. Integration was referred to as a determinant of economic growth. The necessity of conducting further research on the impact of effective knowledge management on the comprehensively understood integration processes was underlined.

The article deals the need to integrate offers of different modes of transportation. It is one of the ways to increase competition for alternative ways of travel to move by personal cars. Resulted should be the change of modal split of traffic. Particular attention was given to effective information flow that is fundamental to communication with the users of the transportation system.

Opis:: Characterinsing the nature of cybephysical systems is not easy task. What are core aspects and what are not? This is especially tricky in systems-of-systems aggregates. Some EU-funded cyberphysical systems projects have performed a roadmapping exercise over the domain of Cyber-Physical Systems-of-Systems. In particlular, the EU-CPSoS project roadmap has identified three major challenges and eleven research and innovation policies that shall be addressed to solve the three challenges. The third core challenge addresses Cognitive Cyber-physical Systems of Systems. In this article we address the role that knowledge and cognition are to play in future cyber-physical systems of systems from a life-cycle perspective of high autonomy systems.

Opis:: The project to introduce modifications to the air target SZERSZEŃ has been undertaken by the Air Force Institute of Technology. SZERSZEŃ has been used by the Polish Army for 10 years, during which time a number of modifications were introduced. Given this fact, it was decided to develop a new version of this UAV based on the experience gained during its maintenance and operation. Another aspect of this project is to focus on improving the repeatability of production by optimizing the technology processes. To achieve this aim the new instrumentation for the production of composite parts in prepreg technology was designed. The paper reviews the production possibilities for this aircraft using a new technology and presents the advantages of the modified construction and the new technology.

This fragmentation results in long waiting times and involvement of multiple care providers who offer different forms of care. The lack of integration of health care seems to be one of the biggest challenges in health systems as integration calls for a holistic approach and the implementation of structural changes that are costly. The aim of the paper is to explore the nature and strategic forms of the mechanisms and tools dedicated to health care integration in selected European countries. The literature review was performed using resources of Web of Science and Ebsco. The search criteria focused on the following key words: integrated health care, care coordination, coordinated care programmes, and integration mechanisms. The time span of the analysis covered the last 20 years from 1998 to 2017. Finally, 39 studies were identified that presented the evidence-based experience with care coordination. Several strategic forms of health care integration have been identified, including structural, functional and subject-based mechanisms.
Większość europejskich krajów ma problemy z integracją usług opieki zdrowotnej. To nieuchronnie prowadzi do fragmentaryzacji dostarczania opieki. W konsekwencji mamy do czynienia z długim czasem oczekiwania i zaangażowaniem wielu usługodawców, którzy oferują różne formy opieki. Brak integracji opieki zdrowotnej wydaje się jednym z największych wyzwań systemów zdrowotnych, jako że integracja wymaga holistycznego podejścia i wdrożenia zmian strukturalnych, które kosztują. Celem pracy jest ocena istoty i strategicznych form mechanizmów i narzędzi dedykowanych integracji opieki zdrowotnej w wybranych krajach europejskich. Dokonano przeglądu literatury przy użyciu baz Web of Science i Ebsco. Użyto kryteriów wyszukiwania w postaci następujących słów kluczowych: zintegrowana opieka zdrowotna, koordynacja opieki i programy opieki koordynowanej. Zakres czasowy analizy to ostatnich 20 lat (1998–2017). Ostatecznie zidentyfikowano 39 prac prezentujących, w oparciu o dowody naukowe, doświadczenia z koordynacją opieki. Przegląd dorobku pozwolił na identyfikację różnorodnych form integracji opieki zdrowotnej, w tym opartych na mechanizmach strukturalnych, funkcjonalnych i przedmiotowych.

Opis:: The purpose of this article is to present the concept of business integration model, similar to the classic Balassa’s model, as a form of development scheme, which is used not only by the state but also other actors – transnational corporations (TNCs). The article is divided into six parts. The first and second parts – the deepening of the integration process as a response participants of global market about the challenges of globalization and liberalization. The third part – the concept of business integration model (the genesis, the concept, elements). The fourth part – the interpretation of business integration model (theoretical background with using several economic theories). The fifth and sixth parts – the implementation of business integration model in practice. The author shows case studies for Volkswagen (automotiv, Germany), Pfizer (pharmaceutical, USA) and British Petroleum (petrochemical, United Kingdom).
Celem artykułu jest prezentacja koncepcji modelu integracji biznesowej, wzorowanej na klasycznym modelu integracji B. Balassy. W początkowej części opracowania starano się wykazać, że mechanizm integracji jest niezależny od typu obiektu. Działania integracyjne stanowią bowiem sposób dostosowań do wymogów zmieniającego się otoczenia – wyzwań globalizacji i liberalizacji. W kolejnej części przedstawiono koncepcję sześcioetapowego modelu integracji biznesowej. W ostatniej części opracowania (podzielonej na uwagi teoretyczne oraz case studies) podjęto próbę egzemplifikacji modelu na przykładach scalania systemów biznesowych korporacji transnarodowych.
