W opracowaniu ustalono szacunkowe salda bilansu substancji organicznej w glebie dla poszczególnych gospodarstw indywidualnych w Polsce, a także dla województw oraz kraju. W tym celu wykorzystano najbardziej aktualne dane statystyczne GUS z poziomu gospodarstwa rolnego za 2007 r. Wynik bilansu substancji organicznej w glebie uznany jest za wskaźnik rolnośrodowiskowy, będący źródłem informacji o oddziaływaniu rolnictwa na środowisko przyrodnicze.
The study presents an estimated balance of organic soil matter in individual farms in Poland, as well as in voivodeships and at the country level. In this regard, there were used current statistical data of Central Statistical Office from the farm level concerned in research in 2007. The balance of organic soil matter is very important agri-environmental indicator, which is a source of information about the impact of agriculture on the environment.

Wnioski zostały formułowane na podstawie wyników badań topografii powierzchni 3D oraz oceny struktur metalograficznych.
The aim of the research was the impact assessment conditioning sand Al2O3 grit: 50μm, 110μm, 250μm, area bars Ti6Al4V on the class connection with ZrO2 dental cement RelyX 3M ESPE. Proposals where formulated based on research results of 3D surface topography and evaluating the structures metallographic.

The study presents description of the individual farms in Poland in accordance with fertilizer balance of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium (in comparison with agricultural land). The description concerned factors and organization of agricultural production, including fertilizer practices in the distinguishing groups of farms. In this regard, there were used current statistical data of Central Statistical Office from the farm level concerned in research in 2007. The fertilizer balance is very important agri-environmental indicator, which is a source of information about the impact of agriculture on the environment.

W artykule omówiono metodykę badań szczeliw konstrukcyjnych w celu określenia ich właściwości wytrzymałościowych. Przedstawiono wymagania stawiane masom uszczelniającym, jakie muszą spełnić, aby mogły być zastosowane do szklenia strukturalnego. Zamieszczono również wyniki badań dwóch typów szczeliwa oraz dokonano oceny wpływu zastosowanych czynników starzeniowych na zasadnicze właściwości mas uszczelniających.
This article discusses the methodology of research the structural sealants to determine their strength properties. Presented the requirements which the masses sealing have to meet to be used in structural glazing. Also contains the results of two types of sealant and assesses the effect of the aging factor of the fundamental properties of sealants.

Catachresis understood as a figure of speech and as a model of worldview displays a potential in overcoming traditional methods of academic research practice. The key problem in studies of marketing objects (e.g., brands, political parties) is the lack of agreement on the universal dimensions through which such objects are perceived, as well as on methodologies allowing their identification. As a result, researchers often use structural models (and instruments) that lack ecological validity. We offer a solution to that problem by presenting a methodology that draws on lexical research and which has allowed researchers to establish universal dimensions of personality perception in psychology. By discussing the theoretical and methodological tenets of the multilevel lexical approach to exploring images of marketing objects, we also overcome another problem of neglecting the hierarchical structure of the phenomena and data.

A structural equation model was used to verify both the direct and indirect influences on research and development and innovation capabilities that affect Thai automotive parts enterprises competitive advantage. Thailand’s automotive sector is a major driver of the economy with a multi-thousand network of both domestic and international companies contributing a significant amount to both domestic and Asian economic growth. After peaking in 2013 and reaching the Top 10 automotive nations, there has been a slide backwards. Competition is fierce and the pace of change ever quickening. Therefore, the researchers sought to determine how the automotive parts sector needed to improve in capability, skills and infrastructure to maintain a sustainable competitive advantage. From the structural equation model analysis of 220 regional automotive parts sector managers and use of AMOS software, it was determined that research and development combined with innovation plays key roles in the industry’s profitability and survivability. Additionally, there must be support across a wide sector of the economy, including universities, government agencies and institutions. Once championed as the ‘Detroit of Asia’, Thailand’s recognized success as a global automotive hub is a classic case of a well-executed industrial plan but that lead can potentially slip away without embracing new technologies and innovative thinking.

The variety of sources and forms available for supporting the R&D process has, including non-repayable funds changed dramatically over the last few years. Today they are available for all interested in the running researches – both start-ups, as well as large companies. It is an extension of instruments sharing risks embodied in company’s development in the long run. Offered measures of financial support system are an attractive factor decreasing the risk of investment in R&D and encouraging entrepreneurs to spend their own funds for research. This has a strong impact on the sphere creating innovative solutions giving a competitive advantage.
Różnorodność źródeł, jak też dostępnych form wsparcia sfery badawczo-rozwojowej, w tym bezzwrotnych środków publicznych, zmieniła się radykalnie w ciągu ostatnich lat, co powoduje, że dzisiaj sięgać po nie mogą zarówno startupy, jak i duże firmy zainteresowane rozwojem B+R. Zachęcają one do podejmowania ryzyka oraz rozwoju firmy w dłuższej perspektywie. Oferowane środki finansowe wraz z systemem wsparcia ustawami stanowią istotny czynnik obniżający ryzyko inwestycyjne w B+R, jak też zachęcający przedsiębiorców do wydatkowania własnych środków na badania. Dają silny impuls do poszukiwania rozwiązań innowacyjnych oferujących przewagi konkurencyjne.

Celem artykułu jest prezentacja odpowiednio zestawionych tablic danych przestrzennych oraz sposobu ich wykorzystania w badaniach przestrzenno- -strukturalnych i funkcjonalnych. Badania dynamiczne i strukturalne nawiązują do tego, co jest istotą rzeczywistości, w jakiej żyjemy, cechującej się zmiennością zdarzeń i procesów w czasie i przestrzeni. Zebrane, niekiedy z trudem, informacje liczbowe nie zawsze są optymalnie wykorzystywane w badaniu coraz bardziej złożonej rzeczywistości. Uporządkowane w tablicach dane stanowią punkt wyjścia do prowadzenia badań dynamiczno-strukturalnych przy wykorzystaniu znanych metod analizy statystycznej. W opracowaniu przedstawiono trzy rodzaje tablic (macierzy) danych: strukturalne (jedno- i wielocechowe), funkcjonalne i relacyjne (interakcyjne). Omówiono ich zastosowanie oraz wskazano podstawowe, możliwe do wykonania procedury obliczeniowe.
The article attempts to present a set of spatial data in appropriate tables with the ways they might be used in both spatial and structural research as well as in functional one. Dynamic and structural research allows for investigating a constantly changing reality. Collected numerical information is often ineffectively used in the research in a more complex reality. Organising collected spatial data in such tables makes it possible to apply various kinds of quantitative methods for the analyses. The article also presents certain principles of variable selection allowing not only for correct application of specific statistical methods, but also for the achievement of reliable results. Uni- and multivariate structural tables, functional tables and relational ones (interactive) are presented in the article, indicating simultaneously operations that can be carried out on the data collected in these tables with specific methods of quantitative analysis.

Opisano przebieg wykonanych prac oraz osiągnięte cele i wskaźniki. Projekt realizowany był w latach 2012-2013 w ramach Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego Województwa Śląskiego na lata 2007-2013, w ramach działania 1.3 RPO WSL, zgodnie z umową nr UDA-RPSL.01.03.00-00-020/11-00.
Realization of tasks specified in the project entitled “Extension of laboratories of the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology in Gliwice to carry out the tests to increase safe use of products”, including purchase and implementation of the stand for virtual prototyping in KOMAG’s Laboratory of Modelling Methods and Ergonomics, is presented. Realization of each project task and achieved results are described. The project was realized in 2012-2013 within the Regional Operational Programme of the Silesia Voivodeship for 2007-2013, within task 1.3 RPO WSL [UDA-RPSL.01.03.00-00-020/11-00]

Technology-intensive firms need to organize their R&D on a global scale. This is an important and complicated task that requires an explicit model and a thorough evaluation. Due to the complexity of the decisions about the global R&D organization and interrelations among the underlying issues, a structural approach is recommended. A detailed study of global R&D projects presented in the literature is used for structuring the problem with the aid of cognitive mapping. Based on this, two qualitative approaches: the Roberts model and the WINGS method are applied to and the most suitable solution.

Zaprezentowano projekty, które Instytut będzie realizować w latach 2009-2013 w ramach ww. Programu Operacyjnego.
In the paper projects carried out by Metal Forming Institute within structural funds for period 2004 - 2006 are presented. Instruments for implementing National Cohesion Strategy 2007-2013, in particular Operational Programme Innovative Economy are characterised. Projects to be realised by the Institute in period 2009-2013 within the above mentioned Operational Programme are described.
